Top 5 Percocet Surprising Facts Percocet is an opioid medication that is legally

prescribed for pain.

However it is a drug that is commonly abused and there are a lot of things that might surprise

you about this it and that's what were going to talk about today.

Hey youtube im Court McGinley and welcome back to the most amazing top 5.

Before we get started on this list I want to know- what is something you couldn't

live without let me know your answers down in the comments.

Also don't forget to subscribe to our amazing channel if you havnt already and make sure

you give this video a big thumbs up.

Alright lets get started on our list of the top 5 Percocet surprising facts.

Starting off at our number 5 spot--10 percent- 10 percent is the amount of people who are

proscribed Percocet for pain relief at one point in there lives but continue to take

it after they are suppose to be off of them- they then abuse them due to an addiction they

have fell into.

They will experience obsessive and compulsive thoughts about the drug which makes it hard

for them to give it up.

Also overtime users build up a tolerance and require more of the drug to achieve the same

high they use to get.

Many people will even develop a psychological dependency on the drug and believe that they

need to take it in order to feel normal.

In at number 4--Side effects- Percocet actually has a number of very serious side effects.

Such a swelling of the tongue- throat and eyes- decreased respiration- stroke- and sweating

of the lower body- such as the feet- ankles and legs.

Some more severe side effects of Percocet abuse are- respiratory failure- high blood

pressure- cardiac arrest- coma and even death.

In at number 3-- Adolescents- it turns out Percocet addictions mostly occur in adolescents-

women and seniors.

But the fastest growing group is actually adolescents.

This is because they use it for recreational purposes and they are the ones who abuse this

drug the most.

Its just become too easy for them to get their hands on this drug and they don't see it

as a hard drug or something that shouldn't be put in their body- as some of their friends

may have been prescribed it after having a surgery or wisdom tooth extraction.

Coming in at our number 2 spot--Mixing- its very common for people to mix taking Percocets

with other drugs.

This only intensifies the risks that both drugs come with.

People mix the drugs to make the high stronger and experience both effects at the same time.

Drugs that are mostly abused with Percocets are- Marijuana- LSD- Cocaine- Ecstasy- Alcohol-

and Methamphetamines.

However combining Percocet with any drug that affects the central nervous system can amplify

the respiratory depressive effects of Percocet.

And if you co- abuse with alcohol it will likely lead to severe liver damage

And at number 1--life threatening- it turns out these pills are more dangerous for consumption

if they are cut or crushed.

Because this is a pain relief drug its manufactured to allow for an extended release of the oxycodone.

But if the tablets are crushed or cut so that people can snort them then the user may experience

a faster and stronger high.

Basically like what happens with heroine.

This is something that should not be done because it increases the risk for dangerous

side effects and overdose.

There have been many cases where people consumed this drug in a cut or crushed form and its

killed them.

And there you have it that's our list of the top 5 Percocet surprising facts.

Thank you so much for watching and ill catch you in the next one.

Words That Take You Places | Sophie - Duration: 8:51.

As I always say … .. Stay Strong

[Intro Music]

Well hello everyone and welcome back to my channel,

or if you are new, hello welcome to my channel, my name is Sophie.

For most of us, this time of the year brings us

good moods, good energy,

motivation, and just …

generally better!!

That being said, there are plenty of people who struggle even

more at this time of the year.

And I mean lets be honest, we all have some pretty crappy times at some

point through the year.

And recently I have definitely found myself going through all my motivational quotes.

i have a little folder on my phone with them all and so,

i figured, do you know what?

Lets share them.

Share some positive energy, motivation, especially at this time of the year because hey,

Christmas is the time of giving.

So if you have any be sure to leave them in the comments below.

That being said, I have 12…

nope i have 14 i lied… lets crack on with some quotes.

Okay so the first quote that i have for you is

'Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it'.

And i love this because it is so true.

Something happens to you in the day and you have two choices.

You can either react where you go… ahhhhhh mehhhhhhhh…

exactly like that… or you can react by going, you know what maybe

they're just having a bad day.

It's fine.

I'm not gonna take it personally and you move on.

Your day can go 2 different ways.

So this next quote i love and the quote is ' The expert in anything was once the beginner'

So it is just reminding me that everyone starts somewhere

and at one point they were probably in the same situation as I was.

Just to work hard and one day i will become the expert in whatever it is that i want to

become the expert in.

Often at times with chronic illness, or if you get bullied

or just generally in life, we tend to feel ashamed of our emotions and

we tend to hide how we are feeling because we think that we shouldn't feel

that way.

So this quote I love because it just reminds me that it is ok to feel how you want and

need to feel and that you shouldn't be ashamed of it.

And this came from Demi Lovato and it is 'Never be ashamed of what you feel.

You have the right to feel any emotion that you want and to do what makes you happy.'

So just remember, if you have an emotion,

you have the right to have that emotion.

Now I don't know if any of you have read 'How to be a bawse' which is

Lilly Singh AKA Superwoman's book that she bought out a little while ago,

but I love it.

Which is all i talk about so you probably know that.

but i do LOVE it.

And one of the quotes that i took from it and definitely put into my life,

definitely helped me reshape my life.

this quote just reminded me that sometimes you have to let go of things to make things

better, And the quote is

'Be brave enough to let go of the people and things that make you unhappy'.

So if someone is bringing you down, don't hold onto them because that's not

a relationship or friendship that you really need in your life.

And yeah… it really makes a huge difference in my life.

it's like taking a weight off my shoulders.

I have certainly had my fair share of difficult times,

and so this next quote has just reminded me that sometimes it is the things that we find

the hardest that actually leads to some really great things and the

quote is 'Difficult roads often leads to beautiful

destinations'.

And this following one is kind of on the same lines of that one and that is

'Be strong because things will get better, it may be stormy now but it never rains forever'

This quote just kind of helps to remind me to stop thinking of the negative side of things

because is 'Stop being afraid of what could go wrong

and think of what could go right'.

Just as we always think 'oh this bad thing could happen if i do

that' yeah but this good thing could also happen

so if you don't know you're not gonna try…

if you don't you're not gonna try.

If you don't try you're not gonna know.

The next quote is one that i like to just remind me that kind of

everything that is happening to me is helping shape me as well and the quote is

'the struggle you're in today, is developing the strength you need for tomorrow'.

So, the rubbish that you're having to deal with today is helping to make you stronger

to fight tomorrow.

'Anything is possible you just have to try' I love this quote because it is so true.

I always say anything that you want to do in life is possible if you're willing to

try and put the effort in.

If you don't wanna try then it's not even a case of it's not possible it is just you're

choosing not to do it.

And don't let people knock you down.

If people say you can't do it, you shouldn't do it,

you're rubbish at it, prove them wrong.

Prove them wrong.

Show them that you don't care that they're trying to bring you down for whatever the

reason, you're gonna keep trying, you're gonna

keep improving in your skills or whatever it is and

you're gonna make it possible because you're trying and ….

you're winning in life basically.

#winning.

And this next quote kind of goes along the same lines and that is

'don't worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don't even

try' So, it's kinda the same things that if you're

too worried about failing at something or not being able to

do it, then obviously,

you're gonna miss out because you're not giving it a try.

If you anything a try, you're not missing out in life.

And even if it doesn't pan out how you wanted it to turn out,

you've tried, you've experienced it, you've not missed out

and you can say that you've tried, you've not just sat there and wished on

something and not tried to atlas make it happen.

Ok so these next two quotes are pretty similar in…

how i interpret them anyway and what they say, so the first one is

'a negative will never give you a positive life' and the second one is

'your mind is a powerful thing, when you fill it with positive thoughts your life will

start to change'.

So basically both of these are saying that if you think in a negative way and fill your

mind with negative thoughts, then you can't really expect positive life.

If you're always thinking on the negative side you're not even allowing that positivity

in, and therefore you're not gonna feel positive

and you're not gonna be happy with life.

If you think positively and you try and let that positive energy and thought process go

into your mind, then your life is instantly more positive

because you're thinking that way.

So i mainly use this next one for like cheer when i go into competitions,

and really you can use it for anything in life and i do,

it's just i primarily remind myself of this one when it comes to cheer competitions,

and that is 'practice like you've never won, and perform

like you've never lost'.

So the last quote that i have in my little folder on my phone is one that i feel like

everyone has heard at some point in their life,

and the quote is 'nothing is impossible, the word itself

says I'm possible.'

So literally, the word impossible

when you look at it spells out i'm possible.

So those are all of the quotes that i have for you today.

there are so many more that i love these are just the ones that i keep on my phone so that

when i'm having bad days, and not feeling so motivated,

and positive about life, i can just flick through them and remind myself

that anything is possible, i'm entitled to feel the way i'm feeling

at that moment in time, and things will get better.

So … i hope you liked this video, if you did be sure to give it a thumbs up

because, there are some people struggling out there

so if you do know anyone be sure to share this video with them

because it could help them just the positivity and the motivation of these quotes.

Or even just tell them a quote if you don't wanna share the video.

Either or.

And if you're not already i would love for you to subscribe,

remember it's the month and the season of giving so….

it would give me great joy, if you could subscribe.

All of my social media links are in the description box below so i'd love for you to come check

them out, come say hi.

And until next time Keep Watching

What If The Walking Dead Was Real? - Duration: 4:56.

What if the Walking Dead was Real Hello and welcome back to Lifeís Biggest

Questions, Iím Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

Humanity has been relatively obsessed with zombies for decades.

Countless films, shows, novels, and comics have been created on the subject, and delve

into what would happen in a world of zombies.

And now, itís our turn.

If you like this video, head over to Top 10 Nerd!

Itís a sister channel hosted by myself and a couple nerdy ladies, and you can find all

sorts of nerdy videos on anything from comic books, to Harry Potter, to Star Wars.

Now get ready, itís time to ask the question: What if the Walking Dead was Real?

First of all, there would be a significant change to how death was dealt with.

Death would be far more common; in a world of such danger, where humanity is once again

cast into the role of prey, survivors would need to learn to accept death as a normal

part of life.

Unexpected death would once again be a relatively common occurrence, and not just at the hands

of the zombies.

Disease would also be a huge problem.

With little to no access to medicine or medical professionals, even diseases that are considered

relatively innocuous now could be fatal in a world infested by zombies.

Particularly a few years in, any medicine that hadnít already been taken and used would

likely have expired and no longer be effective.

Without new medicine being produced, or vaccinations being administered, disease would become much

more prevalent, and would be more deadly.

This problem would be further exacerbated with the limited amounts of cleaning supplies,

which would lead to a buildup of dangerous bacteria.

On that topic, a number of other supplies would eventually become unusable as well.

After a couple years, most gasoline would be ineffective.

As the years went on, batteries would begin to lose their charge, so flashlights, radios,

computers, cars, and worst of all, game boys, would eventually become unusable without an

alternative source of power.

Humanity would likely split into smaller groups, like we see in Walking Dead.

We would likely form groups similar to those of our ancestors in the Pleistocene era.

This could actually be beneficial, since living closer to our evolutionary environment could

have positive effects on human psychology.

However, as Iím sure you know, humans tend to take group membership a bit too far, which

would lead to infighting amongst various groups, as seen in The Walking Dead.

That said, all would not be lost.

As stated in our video on ìHow could you survive a zombie apocalypse,î one very effective

strategy would be to move to more secluded areas.

In these places, like islands or difficult to access spots, zombies would have trouble

getting there, particularly if defenses were put in place.

This would allow people to rebuild and perhaps create a new society.

But how could a new society come about in a world infested by zombies?

Well, one thing that is often left out of zombie films and shows is the idea that the

zombies would eventually dwindle in numbers, and even disappear completely.

While there are a lot of them, if one or many groups of survivors managed to dig in and

find an easily defensible area, they could very well systematically exterminate the zombie

threat.

Particularly on smaller islands, the number of zombies would be somewhat limited.

Since they donít reproduce, if the survivors were careful not to allow themselves to turn,

and continued luring zombies to their death, there would eventually be no more left.

This would actually be relatively easy, especially if the zombies were as slow and easily dealt

with as they are in The Walking Dead.

Thereís also a good chance that the military would play a large role in this extermination.

One issue that some have with Walking Dead is the near-complete lack of military presence.

This seems rather unrealistic; if random civilians are able to survive, chances are a fair number

of soldiers trained for combat would as well.

This would greatly facilitate the extermination of the zombie menace, and would also help

to keep order amongst the survivors.

Military states would probably be the norm, only giving way to more democratic systems

once the zombie problem was gone.

However, even if all the zombies were exterminated, there would still be long-lasting effects.

If the virus remained, people would forever need to be highly cautious.

One accidental death within a compound could cause someone to turn, and attack others,

like we saw when a certain character got sick in a certain building, died in the showers,

and turned a number of people.

Iím trying to avoid spoilers, youíre welcome.

As long as the virus was in effect, survivors would need to be constantly vigilant, or granny

might kill the whole family after dying in her sleep.

And now we return to our question: What if the Walking Dead was Real?

Well, death and disease would become far more prevalent, as medicine and cleaning supplies

become harder and harder to come by.

Humanity would likely find itself in smaller tribes, similar to that of our evolutionary

environment.

If a group found a secluded or defensible area, they could potentially begin to rebuild

a sort of society, and even begin exterminating the zombie menace.

There would likely be a good deal of military support in this extermination, but even with

the zombies gone, life for the survivors would likely never be the same.

Thank you for watching Lifeís Biggest Questions, I hope this was interesting and informative,

and maybe even inspired you to look into it further on your own.

If you liked this video, please thumbs up and subscribe to the channel down below.

While youíre down there, let me know what YOU would do if you woke up in the middle

of a zombie apocalypse!

Make sure to check out Top 10 Nerd if youíre looking for more nerdy videos!

Until next time, Iím Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey with Lifeís Biggest Questions, wishing you

the best of luck, on your quest for answers.

Furthermore, headshots would be far less prevalent in the real world.

This is one thing that bothers a number of fans, particularly yours truly.

Just about everyone who can hold a pistol suddenly gains the uncanny ability to shoot

a moving target in the head from 30 feet like itís nothing.

Really, the only time someone misses is when the plot demands it.

But the real world has no writers, the real world doesnít need a story to ìtrackî,

or protagonists who need to look awesome.

In the real world, people would miss the head an awful lot.

Heads are small.

Certain parts of the world actually believe zombies to be real.

For example, Haitian folklore tells of the dead being reanimated by a sorcerer or witch,

called a bokor.

These zombies act as slaves for whomever raised them from the dead.

There was even an article in the Haitian criminal code passed in 1864 which officially recognized

the existence of zombies.

However, The Walking Dead takes an approach that we in the west are somewhat more familiar

with.

In the show and comics, a virus infects humanity that causes them to turn into a flesh-eating

zombie when they die, only able to be killed by trauma to the head.

How would the world look if this was a reality?

Good video!

GUEST: - I'm vibrationally embracing you right now

I have two questions:

The pineal gland, also known as the third eye, and the compound that is secreted from it, also known as DMT

From my understanding, the pineal gland releases DMT when we're born, when we die and when we dream

ABRAHAM: - And when you're in alignment...

When you are in concert with Source, when you meditate, when you are resistant free...

GUEST: - So, my question is...

ABRAHAM: - All the time!

[audience laughs]

...if you know what you're doing

GUEST: - My question is what is the pineal gland?

And does it matter what role it plays in the evolution of our alignment?

ABRAHAM: - It doesn't play any creative role in the evolution of your alignment

But it plays a responsive role

Alignment trumps everything!

So, vibration is at the core of everything

And then different things come into play as manifestations of that alignment

So, let's call the absence of resistance where it's really at

And then the secretion of that as the manifested results of that alignment

And there are more of those kinds of glands in your apparatus

Then you will ever identify, name or understand

You are a veritable chemical factory

And so now maybe it's helpful to point it something and acknowledge what it does

But there is so much about your physical apparatus that you are not controlling consciously

And it's a really good thing!

[audience laughs]

You have to set the alarm for every 60 seconds to take a deep breath.

Helpful?

GUEST: - Yes.
