by Tyler Durden. Tyler was an imaginary character in the movie. The very next desire of everyone
was to be like him. He gave new meaning to the life of every college and office going
dude. The dialogs of the movie were on the tip of everyone's tongue. So what makes
Tyler Durden so fascinating and why we connect so much to him even when hardly any of us
would literally like to start a fight club and walk around with a black eye. so it's
not what Tyler did in the movie that was fascinating but the way he did, his approach to different
things is what that intrigued us. So here are five reasons why every one of us would
want to live like Tyler Durden
every day you get a chance to live your life,
but you spoil it doing something that you don't want to do. Unlike you, Tyler
understands the value of life and knows how limited it is. His life is without any anxiety
and sorrow and This is all we want - a life without any anxiety and sorrow. Tyler doesn't
give a second thought to a thing that he doesn't like. He is not caged with
status quo or the desire to impress others.
He lives his life without the greed to win

You must not seek your identity in the brands
you wear You must not look the way these brands want you to look. They start with a promise
to give you an ideal life and look but ends up making you the slave of theirs. Tyler is
strongly against consumerism. he speaks the real the bitter truth of these high-class
brands. How they start owning you and spoils your life.
You need to have a free life and
by free I mean free of CK shirts, Armani jeans or D&G shoes. Get out of these. Your body
is same as every decaying micro-organisms, I don't know why are you so excited
to decorate it.
Every day we go to bed with a hope of getting up tomorrow. But this is not guaranteed.
At any moment from now, we can die. But none of us bother about it. Tyler makes every second
count. All his ideal human qualities exist because he believes that life is limited.
And thats the reason why his behavior is so impulsive.
well I won't necessarily suggest
you to act out of your impulse all the time but you do need to understand that unlike
the newsfeed of your facebook timeline there is the end to your lifes timeline and Once
you understand this fact that your life is limited, you will have a different view towards
life. You will prioritize your self-freedom than anything else and definitely, you will
not give a shit about what other people think.
its only when we are about to die;
we realize the importance of life. Tyler's way of living is very spiritual because
he doesn't dwell on the past or the future. He lives his life along with the second
hand of the clock. His life is not attached to emotions that can stop him from going ahead
and doing something that he wants to do.
When you are spiritually enlightened, you don't
pretend to the world. You are what you are, and it doesn't matter how the world
takes it or feels about it. It clears the way to bring out the real self of yours. And
there is no doubt that Tyler has it all. Tyler was Tyler - in and out, through and through.
He was spiritual but in a different way.

Hello, today in the Circle, I decided to warm your heart
and bring sunshine to your day…
I am going to talk about the Australian band HIATUS KAIYOTE with their LP Choose Your Weapon
released in 2015 on "Flying Buddha"/"Music on Vinyl" labels.
Hiatus is a nu-soul Australian quartet composed with:
Paul Bender bass player,
Simon Mavin keyboardist
Perrin Moss percusionnist
& Nai Palm singer and guitar player
Lately, they have been accompanied by backing vocalists Jace, Loreli and Jay Jay
(who is nothing else but the producer Silent Jay)
The band is formed in Melbourne in 2011,
when bass player Paul Bender catches sight of Nai Palm at small nightclub.
Keyboardist Simon Marvin and drummer Perrin Moss joined the band later on.
They released their first LP « Tawk Tomahawk » in 2012 independently
Therefore, they releases the EP 'Fire' in 2014, 'Choose Your Weapon' LP in 2015
and 'Recalibrations Vol 1' in 2016.
Supported by Q-Tip, Questlove or Erykah Badu, the band had a Grammy nomination in 2014
for the best RnB performance with their newer version of « Nakamarra » featuring the legend Q-Tip.
By the way, I discovered the band with this track « Nakamarra », this is one the tracks
I'm listening to cheer up myself ;
you know the kind of sounds that make you smiling regardless what's happening during the day.
On a side note for the name of the band :
A hiatus is a pause, this is something necessary in life for the members of the band:
taking time for a pause, having a moment in time.
The name 'Kaiyote' has been invented ; according to Nai Palm, the singer, it expresses creativity…
...of course it speaks to me a little.
It relates to birds which is for her a big omen as she considers herself as a bird-woman !
she is often accompanied by her bird Charlie Parker!
The 3 musicians also form the band Swooping Duck
They perform regurlarly in Australia, relying a lot on improvisation.
They got a groove and harmonies that always give shivers.
Regarding the band leader Nai Palm
She is an author, composer and singer.
She is for me, a unique figure with her solar and magnetic energy.
She is in the same time simple, endearing and gives lots of love on stage.
Nai Palm writes songs since she was 13 years old and has a real poetic gift for writing
She just released her new LP "Needle Paw" solely composed of guitar and vocal arrangements.
She covers Hiatus tracks and also proposes new compositions
where she explores different esoteric themes driven by a deep introspection.
Her live on stage is very simple, only focusing on the closest element from the human soul: the voice.
I have to confess I was a little bit stressed to see her solo live
because I am an inconditional Hiatus fan (I actually saw them every time they performed in Paris).
As a matter of fact, I can tell you: it was a real breath of fresh air,
she manages to keep us on tenterhooks all along the concert and she offers magnificent covers.
Let's get back to the album !
Choose your weapon is the second Hiatus Kaiyote album.
This is a tribute to the mixtape format with lots of interludes,
it counts 19 tracks with various influences like Soul, Jazz, Rock, Hip Hop and even Opera.
This musical journey relies on a rich and varied orchestration
thanks to Nai Palm's and Paul bender's creative compositions accompanied with the 2 other musicians.
Indeed, harmonies and groove are here sumptuously elaborated:
a really brilliant work of composition and musical arrangement!
This is not easy for me to tell you about my favorite tracks since I really like all the tracks on this album.
Anyways, if I had to choose, meaning I really don't have the choice, I would say:
Shaolin Monk Motherfunk, Building a ladder, & The Lung
There is also the track Laputa which is a tribute to Miyazaki's animation movie "Castle In The Sky".
KLN dancers also used that track to release a very nice dance video.
Choose your Weapon immerses us in a spiritual journey
where the band invites us to live in communion with nature !
This relationship with nature is ever-present in the album.
The terminology linked to the 4 elements enhances this feeling:
the Fire in "By Fire", Earth in "Shaolin Monk Motherfunk", "Molasses" and "The Lung",
Water in "Breathing Underwater" and "Air" in "Building A Ladder".
We can also see these elements on the cover designed by Laneous « lame boy » the Lunchboxer.
We can say this album made an impact, being sampled by various artists
such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar or Anderson Paak
It has been remixed by DJ Spinna as well bringing an House version of it.
The band has been spotted by Salaam Remi, working for Sony.
Then, he decided to create his own label Flying Buddah to sign Hiatus
Their 2 LPs 'Tawk Tomahawk' and 'Choose Your Weapon' have been released on this Sony sublabel.
