Foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha described the North Korea nuclear situation as the most

urgent diplomatic challenge for the nation on Monday.

Speaking at a rare meeting of South Korea's overseas mission chiefs, Kang stressed cooperation

with the international community was key in this endeavor.

Kwon Jang-ho has this report.

Addressing a crowd of 182 South Korean ambassadors and consulate generals from 163 overseas missions,

foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha, said resolving the North Korea nuclear issue peacefully is

the most urgent diplomatic challenge.

She stressed the importance of working closely with the international community,... especially

with South Korea's four key partners, the U.S., China, Russia and Japan.

However, Kang also said that South Korea remains pro-active in finding its own path towards

a peaceful resolution.

(Korean) "At the same time, we are finding our own

diplomatic space and are pursuing a range of measures to draw North Korea out for talks.

We will continue to make persistent efforts to find a peaceful resolution to the North

Korea nuclear issue."

Kang reiterated Seoul's plans to reach out to other non-traditional partners, such as

through the 'New Northern Policy' and 'New Southern Policy', announced by President Moon

earlier this year, to help tackle North Korea... as well as build a future of, quote, 'mutual

prosperity'.

(Korean) "Finding a peaceful resolution to the North

Korea situation, cooperating with the four key partners, and expanding our diplomatic

reach has a direct connection to our national interest."

Kang's speech was part of a 5-day meeting for the mission heads, where they will be

briefed on the administration's policy direction and discuss how to achieve their diplomatic

aims.

They will also carry out some volunteer work and visit the venues for 2018 PyeongChang

Winter Olympics,... the promotion of which is a key objective in the coming months.

It's the first meeting of its kind since President Moon Jae-in took office in May, and he will

be hosting dinner for all 182 diplomats at the

Blue House later on Monday... before the diplomats return to their diplomatic missions around

the world next week.

GWENT: THE WITCHER CARD GAME | Midwinter Update Overview - Duration: 7:06.

Hello, welcome! It's Marcin, together with Jason...

Hey guys.

... and Nuno, our special guest for the video!

We're here to talk about the upcoming update for GWENT!

Yeah!

And it's a big one!

It's huge!

It's the biggest one to date.

There are just so many things in it that I don't really know where to start.

The cards, of course.

We have 100 new cards coming.

This gonna be the biggest drop of new cards for GWENT.

But there's so much more beyond that.

Jason, can you take over from me

and tell us a little bit more about those other things?

With this update, of course, the 100 new cards is pretty awesome,

but players can also expect to see a gameplay technology overhaul.

We've been trying to do this for a while now

and this will really allow us to unlock the potential of the designers,

let them create the crazy cards that are in their imagination,

and give us the foundation for releasing every feature that we want in the future.

It was a critical step for us but it's turning out really awesome.

Nuno, can you tell us more about what we can expect from this technology update?

The first thing that players will notice is the limit of 9 cards per row.

This is a big change for, when you're used to seeing those battles

with Monster deck just swamping...

Yeah, like Arachas.

I remember those getting out of control.

There's a few reasons for this:

it has to do with just making it easier for the designers to balance the game, etc,

making it easier also for the user because

whenever you have the row swamped with cards

it's very hard to select them, to target them.

It's hard to read and see.

Understand what's going on, find that card you need to target,

sometimes there's that card that you need to target.

Also, in terms of performance because we support a bunch of platforms

and once we have all those cards in play,

once you have all those premiums also add on it.

So it was a bunch of reasons combined

into making it a cleaner design in terms of the board.

It just made sense for us to go into that direction.

What about the way abilities trigger?

I heard there's some changes going on there?

With the new technology, what we're doing

is a complete overhaul of the abilities system.

So the designers have much more control over how things trigger.

And also this will be good for players

because players will know what to expect from such situations.

So you'll know exactly how cards will trigger and who triggers first.

We have this order of triggering, from left to right, melee, ranged, siege.

So it's easier for you to predict what's going to happen.

That's super cool, that'll definitely make it easier to figure out

whether that Vran Warrior is going to eat that Nekker Warrior

or whether that Villen is gonna scorch first.

Also, there's another big change which is an ability to cancel out unit plays.

This is something, that I think, has frustrated everybody

at least once in our GWENT life.

Sometimes you're playing a card, but you miscalculate what the card is,

for example, or don't read the battle right

and you don't see what the targets are there,

so you drag a card there that now has, for example, to kill one of your units.

And you don't know until you've played it that this is the only target.

And then there's no backout. One example is the Alzur's Thunder.

With these new changes, what's going to happen is

that when you're playing a card, the card goes through different stages.

One of the stages is, what we call, an execution stack,

so this is something that is waiting to be resolved.

And at this point, you can just cancel it out and go back to the hand.

And play a different card?

Yeah. And the opponent hasn't seen this card.

That sounds awesome!

Yeah, it's really useful.

And even when you're playing a unit you can say:

Oh no no, wait, if I move it there there's going to be a side effect

so I'm going to cancel it out, put it somewhere else and then do its ability.

It's hopefully going to resolve a bunch of problems in terms of gameplay.

Sounds like things are just going to generally be smoother.

Yes!

What else can we expect from this update, Jason?

Along with all these other changes that we've discussed so far

we wanted to take this opportunity to upgrade the whole

deck building/collection experience.

It felt a little slow to have to go between the deck builder and the collection.

Let's say, I'm missing a card for my deck, I would have to go through

loading screens and deck selections to be able to craft that card.

To address that, what we've done is, we actually merged those two into one menu.

Now there's only the deck builder, there's no longer the collection.

We've changed the way decks are represented,

you'll be able to see your collection while you're editing a deck,

you'll be able to see the cards you don't have, you'll be able to craft them.

No loading screens, craft them and put them directly into your deck immediately.

From the user flow, from an experience point of view it feels really much better.

And you'll notice that we did a huge polish pass,

the visuals, the transitions, everything feels of much higher quality

and speaks to the direction that we wanna head in with our menus in general.

With that, we've also wanted to upgrade our matchmaking screen,

so you can actually see the cards in your deck now.

Before, you'd have to choose a deck

now your decks are automatically selected, you see what's in it,

then you get to start matchmaking.

Of course, you can still change your deck

but overall it feels, looks and should flow way better than before.

Super happy with it, yeah!

Another change - whenever a new game starts

you can see that the mulliganing screen has changed as well.

One of those things again, tied to the usability.

We're trying to improve this experience.

Now, when you get to a mulligan, you have all the cards in your hand visible

and you can more easily figure out what you wanna do,

instead of just scrolling back and forth.

That's nice, I'll be able to make a more informed choice

without scrolling through my hand.

So the carousel is gone?

Yes.

Pretty much everywhere in the game.

Also, with card choices it's the same thing.

Whenever you're resurrecting cards from the graveyard

it's a much better way to see that information.

It feels more visible, less claustrophobic.

Earlier today, when I was playing the game

I noticed that there's an introduction of daily quests system.

What's up with that?

We wanted to add a system to allow players to experience the game

in a different way.

They kind of incentivize you to play with, say, certain faction or certain game mode.

They're a new way to reward players for stepping out of their comfort zone

and experiencing more of what GWENT has to offer.

Yeah, face new challenges like playing with additional faction

that they would normally not play.

We're introducing it now and we wanna do more and more with it

to really get some fun out of it.

The last thing I wanna mention real quick is our little buddy Shupe, the shopkeeper,

is busy preparing something for this Holiday,

a special offer, so make sure to check that out.

Thanks for watching guys, we're super excited, we can't wait

for you guys to get a chance to play with all these changes coming this update.

This should be really awesome.

Send us your feedback on the new gameplay.

And see you around the GWENT table!

7 Struggles of Being an Introverted Teen - Duration: 9:28.

7 Struggles of Being an Introverted Teen

The teens are tough for anyone.

But being an introverted teen comes with its own specific set of painful problems.

There is the pain of wanting to belong, but instead, always feeling out of place.

There is the absolute agony of always understanding, and never being understood.

Then, of course there is the confusion of having a personality that turns inward when

everyone is pushing you to be more outgoing.

As an introverted teen, you also struggle with the pain of constantly being forced into

places (i.e. school) that highlight just how different you are.

Isn't it ironic that being quiet and observant is something that makes you stand out nowadays?

You are the black crow in a crowded jungle of parakeets.

You are simultaneously ignored and singled out for your quiet nature.

So, yeah, being an introverted teen isn't easy.

In fact, I'm going to show you top 7 introverted teen problems.

Be sure to like this video and subscribe our channel so you won't miss any interesting

update in the future guys.

Hopefully, this video will help you see that you're not alone, even if you desperately

want to be.

Here are 7 introverted teen problems that show that the struggle is real for young introverts:

1.

Pretending to be immature in order to fit in.

As an introverted teen, you tend to be more introspective and reflective than many of

your friends.

While others focus on the superficial, you think and feel deeply.

Basically, you are an old soul in a teen body.

This isn't exactly the norm in your high school, so you force yourself to be more superficial

and fun.

You act immature so that you don't get called out for that weird inner Yoda thing you've

got going on.

Here's my simple advice for you:

A wise one you are.

Change you should not.

2.

The loneliness of being misunderstood.

They say that loneliness is the human condition.

I prefer to think that loneliness is the result of human conditioning.

When you enter your teens, the pressure to fit into a narrow definition of normal is

at an all-time high.

You are conditioned to behave in a way that makes others feel more comfortable (smile

more, talk more, make lots of friends!!!)

But acting this way makes YOU feel about as comfortable as a cat taking a bubble bath.

If one more person asks you why you're so quiet, you'll want to scratch their eyeballs

out (but you won't because, as an introvert, you hate drama and conflict).

You're backed into a corner: Conform and feel exhausted, and lonely.

OR be yourself and get singled out for being different.

The latter can leave you feeling just as worn out and lonesome as the first option.

Thankfully, nowadays you can go online and quickly find people who really get you, introverts

are more like an online extroverts.

3.

Bullies.

As an introverted teen, you've likely experienced some kind of bullying.

It may not have been the violent, overtly aggressive kind that you see on T.V., but

it was bullying nonetheless.

Bullies are people who make you feel small so that they can feel big and important.

They might do this by teasing or insulting you.

"You're weird," says the puffed up bully, "why do you act like that?

What's wrong with you."

Bullies think that your quietness is a sign of weakness, an invitation to be dominated

and controlled.

For a while you might be tempted to believe them.

Don't.

Quiet wisdom will take you further than loudmouthed ignorance.

Be patient, and stand your ground.

It will get better, I promise.

4.

Feeling overwhelmed by the other humans at school.

Are you the kid that always sits at the back of the class?

Do you count the minutes until lunchtime is over so that you can get the hell out of the

crowded cafeteria?

Do you get home feeling completely flattened by the weight of the day even though nothing

stressful seemed to have happened?

If so, you're not alone, and there's nothing wrong with you.

As an introverted teen, you are more prone to feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by the

school environment.

Think about it, schools are giant buildings crammed to capacity with other humans.

Most of these other humans spend a whole lot of time talking at you, and little to no time

listening to you.

All this talking and peopling is incredibly mentally exhausting for introverts.

This is because you have a different threshold for outward stimulation.

After a while, you need to be alone, and turn inward.

And that's okay.

5.

Being underestimated because you're quiet.

This one sucks so much.

You have all these amazing thoughts, ideas, and emotions inside you, but you can't express

them as freely as the extrovert sitting next to you.

So, people assume that there's nothing going on in there.

They think you're boring, or stupid.

Little do they know that you do know the answer, plus a whole lot more.

You are just keeping quiet about it because you don't feel the need to verbalize every

passing thought.

This is one of those things that can change if you want it to.

You can get better at expressing yourself in ways that feel more natural (like writing!).

Just remember this: you don't need to say a lot to show the world who you really are.

You can be quietly compelling, and inwardly expressive.

6.

Parents pushing you to get your extrovert on.

As an introverted teen, things will be especially rough if your parents don't understand your

introversion.

Your mom and or dad might buy into the idea that you have to be outgoing, popular, and

extroverted to succeed in life.

Because of this they push you to go out more, do more extracurricular activities, and make

more friends.

The operative word here is MORE.

They don't understand how exhausting this is for you.

They don't see that less really is more for quiet sensitive introverts like you.

If you're lucky, your parents did a Google search and found an article on "how to parent

an introverted teen", and they are starting to let up on you.

If you're not so lucky, they found all sorts of articles on mental illness, and decided

to "diagnose" your introversion as something that needs to be cured.

For the record, introversion is simply a personality type that 1/3 to 1/2 of the world's population

shares.

It's not something that needs to be fixed or changed.

Embrace it baby!

7.

Finding friends you actually like.

Contrary to what many believe, introverts do want and need human connection.

As an introverted teen, you face the challenge of finding friends who don't drain the life

out of you.

This can be tricky because your quiet nature often attracts overbearing, bossy types.

You may want to connect with the other introvert in your class, but neither of you is willing

to make the first move.

Popularity can also be a problem for innie teens, but not in the way you might think.

I know this might sound like a contradiction, but there are actually plenty of popular introverted

teens.

Introverts are perfectly capable of making lots of friends.

The hard part is feeling a real connection with these friends.

Oftentimes, popularity is just loneliness in a different dress.

Even though you are surrounded by people, you still feel just as misunderstood and different

as ever.

Here's the advice for the introverted teen

At this point in your life, it may seem impossible to get others to understand and accept you,

which is all the more reason to make it your first goal to fully understand and embrace

your true self.

Read blogs and books on introversion, sensitivity, and Myers-Briggs personalities.

If that sounds boring to you, just look up funny memes on these topics, and you'll

get more or less the same result.

You'll feel like maybe you're not such an unloveable anomaly after all.

You're an introvert, and that's pretty awesome.

A question for introverted teens

What say you introverted teen?

Do you relate to the problems I shared here?

What else do you find challenging about being an introverted teen (okay, I guess that was

three questions, but you don't have to answer all of them!).

And finally, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Do you experience these struggles as teen introverted.

AYS Daily Growth Hacks 212 Trust Your Gut - Duration: 2:42.

Today's topic: Trust Your Gut

I am Doug Holt with Author of Your Own Story and this is your Daily Growth Hack

Where each day we give you a tip, trick or insight, to help you up level, what we

call, the Five to Thrive. That is your mind, your body, your soul, your

relationships and of course your business. Now, this is gonna be a short

tip. And we're going to talk about is something that took me a long time to

learn. And that's trusting my gut or my instincts or those hunches that we have

throughout life. You see, over the course of a day or a year 24/7, your

subconscious mind is taking in information, experiences that you're

having; things that you're seeing, listening to whatever it may be. Your

subconscious mind is always working and what it does is it takes this

information combined with emotion and gives you those gut feelings or those

hunches. This is why oftentimes, when you meet somebody, especially in a business

decision or a romantic relationship. You kind of get that gut feeling.

Do I really trust this person? Or wow, this person is just honest and they're

straightforward. You kind of get a hunch. And what I've learned over the years is

really to rely on those because that's a culmination of my experiences really

screaming at me and oftentimes, in business situation when I've ignored

those hunches, I've actually gotten screwed over. I've gotten cheated and

I've had people steal from me. And I knew all along and I had that gut feeling

that this person knew was lacking integrity or was kind of a sleazy person

all together. Now, I've learned that in my personal relationships as well as my

business to really follow my gut feeling. So what I want to ask you today is Where

in your Five to Thrive are you not following your hunches your gut feeling?

And then I want you to go for it. What would it be like if you were to actually

take those steps? Maybe you have a gut feeling or a hunch or you should just be

something doing something different in your mind, body soul, relationships or

your business. Now, I've learned to trust my gut, especially around people and

especially when it comes to business and I hope those two things help you. I'd

love to hear what you get out of these. What do you get out of just taking 5-10

minutes to really think about a problem something going on in your life and then

just trust in your gut. What does it feel like what are you actually pulling out

there? And then share that with me. I'd love to hear what you have.

That's it for me today. Just a quick one for you. As always, go out and inspire

someone else by being the Author of Your Own Story.
