Winter lovers must be enjoying this year's wintry pattern...freezing temperatures have
returned and readings will remain in the negative territory in the upper regions with a cold
wave advisory for parts of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do Provinces
Daily highs in Seoul will hit minus 1 degree Celsius so be careful out on the roads, other
major cities will also see highs rising to the lower single digits.
Be aware of slick roads as we are expecting more snow and freezing rain starting tomorrow
afternoon, that snowfall could be as heavy as yesterday's with up to 5 centimeters...
With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.
While a cold snap has returned to South Korea with the easternmost islands of Dokdo and
Ullengdo expected to receive up to 5 centimeters of snowfall this afternoon, most of North
Korea will have freezing temperatures under mostly sunny skies.
As for the rest of Asia, Tropical Storm Kai-tak is now a weakened system that will continue
to move slowly westward away from the Philippines this week.
Meanwhile, a sunny Tuesday morning will be joined by clouds and winds will pick as you
approach evening commute.
Heading to North America, Mexico City will have clear skies with a warm high at 24 degrees
Celsius.
As for South America, Santiago will have a repeat of Monday's conditions with hotter
temperatures at 32 degrees.
Taking you to Europe,... sunny, cloudy skies or snow are expected on Tuesday depending
on the region.
Lastly to Africa, those in Cape Town will notice strong winds in the afternoon.
