UN passes resolution slamming North Korea's human rights record - Duration: 1:50.

The United Nations has adopted a resolution condemning North Korea's human rights violations

for the 13th straight year.

As well as the usual stern words for the leadership in Pyongyang,... this year's resolution stressed

the need for the reunion of families which were separated after the Korean War.

The UN General Assembly has once again adopted a formal resolution condemning North Korea's

grave human rights abuses.

The UN has passed such resolutions every year now since 2005.

The agreement was reached by a consensus on Tuesday as no member country requested further

voting procedures.

North Korea's Ambassador to the UN, Ja Song-nam, slammed the assembly for holding the discussion

and adopting the resolution.

He said North Korea believes the resolution is illegal and is nothing more than an evil

conspiracy.

The envoy added Pyongyang strongly rejects the move and does not see the point of voting

on the resolution.

China and Russia's representatives expressed their opposition, but refrained from blocking

it.

The resolution includes an overall denouncement of North Korea's systematic human rights violations,

and stated torture, rape, public executions, collective punishment and forced labor, as

examples.

In particular, the resolution includes for the first time, a call for inter-Korean family

reunions to be held on a regular basis, as well as for proper procedures to be put in

place regarding detainees in North Korea.

The resolution, tabled by the EU and Japan, also won strong support from South Korea,

which agreed that the resolution should be adopted.

Watchers say the resolution reflects the international community's determination to help improve

the dire human rights situation in North Korea.

4 THINGS that's good for you! - Duration: 10:07.

Because there's nothing interesting going on in my life;

Today I decided to share with you the four items

that I can't live without, that will benefit you.

Hundred percent. Hands down!

Item #1: You know I'm 39 so...

gray hair is very natural

I've actually had gray hair since I was 16...because of genetics

So this one item I cannot live without, is this...

It's called "Salon in a Bottle" it has saved me a hundred times

You take a tissue paper and then you put the tissue paper just below where the gray spot is...

So... guys I did a terrible job...

I look like a SPOCK

Coz I have a weird line now...

So what I do when I usually get like

I create a hairline from the colour only you have to do is

either take a cotton bud, or this same tissue paper

that you have used so you don't want to waste.

And what you do is you just simply

kind of scrape a little bit off ... I'm not doing it right... but

with a tissue paper dab it out

so it's not too fake.

Item #2: This is what I call

My magic potion

I swear by this

So I'm 39... people usually give me 35, 34, 32

If I'm much much thinner, I look younger

and that's because I don't have wrinkles...

I know my skin will crack at some point

but I really believe it hasn't yet because well...

I do sleep well but I also use this...

And its really really old school.

If you are born in the 70s or even 80s you will understand what I'm talking about.

Business Cards!

a lot of people actually

but till date when we go to networking conference

The first thing that people do is give away Business Cards!

and what would you do with them you either lose them.

If you don't have a secretary to punch then in

You are probably not gonna do it yourself.

Have a software scanner... that will scan the cards

Who does that?! Well my husband does... He scans everything...

and he's so organized! But that's his Swiss.

Now... If you are not Swiss

and you don't have the patience like me.

You buy this old school.

Business Card holder

I know it's not that pretty

It's actually brand new

is that... when you come home and you have all those

cards in your purse

just chuck them in here! You don't have to look at them

Just chuck them in this card holder

and every month just flip the pages

something might trigger

could be a potential client in there...

could be someone that you really liked and...you know invite out for dinner

but this has really benefited me over the years.

I have tonnes of these they are all packed!

by the way I also have a secretary who is also going for Christmas today.

and she actually logs everything online!

But I like having this for myself...

Finance ministry announces key policies for 2018 - Duration: 1:43.

With 2017 winding down,... the South Korean government has outlined its key economic policies

for the coming year.

Part of those plans include setting up a multi-billion dollar fund to help small businesses that

are expected to suffer when the minimum wage spikes in 2018.

Kim Hyesung reports.

At an economic-related ministers' meeting on Wednesday, Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon

said that, while Korea is set to post solid economic growth of three percent this year,

it faces challenges, particularly in terms of job growth.

With the minimum wage set to increase by 16 percent next year, marking the biggest annual

jump in almost two decades,....the Korean government plans to inject over two-point-seven

billion U.S. dollars as job support subsidies starting next year.

The Finance Ministry said it will directly fund small businesses employing fewer than

30 people to cope with the spike in labor costs.

It's also looking into expanding earned income tax credit as an indirect way of supporting

low-income households.

As part of measures to create more jobs, the health ministry says it will support bio,

medical and cosmetic industries to come up with new products and export up to 21 billion

dollars in related goods by 2022.

The ministers also touched on health insurance policies, promising to expand coverage that's

backed by feasible financing measures.

The Finance Minister added that the government will fine tune details and unveil its economic

policy roadmap for 2018 next week.

It will include plans on three key areas: jobs, innovative growth, and tackling the

low fertility rate.

Phyno took the challenge by filling up a stadium to the brim in South East Nigeria during his show, PhynoFest.

Olamide aka baddo decided to also take up the challenge.

If his previous OLIC shows could shut down Eko Hotel and O2 Arena in London, then filling up a 45k capacity Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos shouldnt be a big deal to the self-acclaimed King of the streets.

Report reaching us from credible sources has it that veteran producer Chief Tunde Oloyede is dead.

He passed on in his sleep this morning in at his home in Festac Town Lagos.

He was the Former President of ITPAN, producer and Foremost director of the Popular NTA series The Village Headmaster amongst several other productions.

Until his death he ran his own production out fit known as Media International Production.

Chief Tunde is married to another veteran broadcaster Bimbo Oloyede who recently was a guest newscaster on Nigerias foremost TV Station, Channels.

He died at age 70.
