Expecting heavy snow tonight _ 122017 - Duration: 1:48.

Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the weather update.

The cold was a little more bearable than yesterday but snow is in the forecast for tonight.

Snow clouds are currently flowing in from the west coast which are expected to gradually

spread across the nation, but not making it all the way to the east coast.

There are heavy snow alerts issued for the Chungcheong-do, southern Gyeonggi-do and Jeollabuk-do

provinces.

Most regions, including Seoul, will see a maximum of 10 centimeters of snow overnight

while the upper part of Gangwon-do province and the nation's southeast will get a lot

less.

Tomorrow, the weather gets better, temperature-wise,... with Seoul beginning the morning at minus

4 degrees Celsius, while Daegu and Busan hit minus 3 and 1 degrees.

You can expect sunnier skies into the day with Seoul rising up to 3 degrees while Gwangju

and Busan hit 7 and 10 degrees.

More precipitation is on the way Saturday and on Christmas Eve.

The sky is looking clear on Christmas Day,... but it will be colder than the seasonal average.

I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.

Custom-made toe-shoes birthday cake brings Wang Jiwon to tears [The Swan Club /2017.12.20] - Duration: 9:08.

(Who joined the show to become a swan?)

- Hi. / - Hello!

- Hello. / - My goodness.

- Hi. / - Do you know who she is?

- Hello. / - I'm shocked.

- Hello, it's nice to meet you all. / - Hi.

(So, who is she?)

(She is the nation's original icon of first love.)

While you were preparing to study abroad.

(She plays roles from romantic to period dramas.)

I can't let you be.

(Her beauty seems to defy time.)

(Actress Park Jumi)

I've been wanting to learn ballet for a while now.

My muscles have atrophied,

and I can feel the change in my body.

So, I thought by taking up ballet on this show,

I'd work hard to improve my health

since I'll be making a promise to you.

I don't know where I got the confidence,

but I just wanted to do it.

Something must've come over me.

(She bravely knocked on the doors to the club.)

(What story will she tell with her ballet?)

My gosh.

Now, do you know?

(What are their reactions after seeing her?)

What's wrong?

Even with all the clues, I was still clueless.

You haven't changed at all.

Just so you know, Jumi and I are

very good friends.

Yes, he's like a brother to me.

- Really? / - Really?

We've known each other for so long.

About 20 years.

- Yes, 20. / - Right?

Twenty sounds about right.

We've been friends for 20 years.

When I heard that she wanted to join the show,

- I was just as surprised. / - Really?

Really.

She's not one to come out into the spotlight.

- She rarely does it. / - Right.

- She's still a mystery to us. / - Of course.

I haven't been one for quite some time.

That's ridiculous.

Many still think that of you though.

Of course.

So, what are your thoughts about her?

- She's beautiful. / - She looks young too.

Cheng Xiao, you're seeing her for the first time.

What are your thoughts?

She's pretty and very gracious.

- Gracious. / - That's right.

You probably think that I don't even eat.

I can't wait to see her in a ballet dress.

It'll be the talk of the town.

(Will people talk about how she looks?)

Jumi has never worn anything like that before.

- Right. / - Of course.

(She's nervous again.)

What are you most worried about?

You should know that...

I've always hated showing some skin.

After turning 30, I had to make a choice.

It was either my looks or my figure.

At this age, your face looks gaunt

if you work out too much.

I've always believed that to be true,

so, I mainly focused on my looks.

But now that I've somewhat given up on my looks,

I'm going to focus on my body.

A lot of my friends

were against me joining the show.

I bet you'll look beautiful.

The average height of the four of you is 170cm.

(She was afraid of the competition.)

You all have beautiful figures,

and I've been known not to work out.

That's why many were against me joining the show.

Still, some things you just want to do.

It's the same when choosing a project.

Even though many were against it,

I knew I wanted to do it.

I'm sure you still feel awkward.

I feel like a member of a club.

We're friends who get together to enjoy the same hobby.

That's why I'd like you to consider me as your friend.

Of course.

I did tell you to address me any way you'd like,

but I'm afraid Cheng Xiao will call me Auntie.

- Please don't. / - I'll call you by your name.

That'd be nice. Don't call me Auntie.

So what about the show you'll have to put on?

After the decision had been made,

I took some ballet classes this week.

I know where I'm at in terms of skill,

so, I'd be glad just as a supporting dancer

if that means I could dance with you all.

We are, by all means, a club.

This isn't an individual activity

which is why you'll be performing together at the end.

There's nothing to worry about.

You'll feel less threatened once you see me dance.

- I mean... / - I watched the pilot episode,

and it did give me confidence.

Still, I'm nowhere near your level.

I'm also a beginner.

Trust me when I say I'm even worse.

It must be why you're seated this way.

These two are already skilled in the art

while these two need a lot of improvement

- in comparison. / - That's right.

They're still better than I am,

so they're a level above.

Advanced, intermediate, and beginner.

I remember telling you all this before.

What if you were to take classes with me as a beginner?

- Me? / - Yes.

- I'm busy. / - Finally.

I'm very busy.

We'd all be in pairs then.

As I mentioned before,

this isn't about who's the best in the group.

So, there's really no need to worry.

All right.

- We'll practice together. / - Yes, of course.

You're also all mothers.

That's right.

We probably have a lot in common.

Moms have a connection, and she's a fellow actress.

The reason why we're here

is to find ourselves and not be just someone's mom.

Sungeun told you not to mention that.

Why would you bring that up?

I think it's precious that we find ourselves too.

- That's why we're here. / - I know.

I'm just saying you could help each other.

You'll have a better understanding.

I get what you mean.

I was just saying.

Anyway, I'll watch what I say from now on.

Whatever reason you all have for being here,

the fact that you're here matters most.

I'm sure that our viewers will be able to relate

to your show at the end.

Why?

It's because we have our own ace.

With her in the center,

there's no way the performance will look pathetic.

- You're right. / - Anyway,

it's great to have you all here.

The five of you...

- This is great. / - Right.

I've always wanted a chance to meet Jumi.

Also, I'm a beginner in ballet,

and she told us that she had just started too.

We can help each other out now,

and now I won't be the odd one out.

More. See? You're quite flexible too.

(Will Jumi be as stiff as Sungeun?)

This I can do.

(She folds in half.)

This I can do.

(What?)

- But... / - She's very flexible.

(Stay tuned to see just how flexible she is.)

Jumi says she has something for you all.

It's news to me, so I don't know what it is.

Hold on a second.

- What? / - Gosh.

(Did she bring them a gift?)

- We didn't bring anything for her. / - I know.

What do we do?

Then at least give her 100 dollars each.

Could it be 50 dollars each instead?

I'm just kidding.

(What did Jumi bring for the swans?)

What's this?

- We're now all a team. / - What is it?

I'm also the oldest here

and late to join the party.

I looked up all of your profiles online,

and Jiwon's birthday is tomorrow.

Really?

- I think that's right. / - Yes.

Since her birthday is tomorrow, I thought

I could wish her a happy birthday too.

I stopped by a bakery before coming by.

(Before coming by, she dropped by a bakery.)

- Hello. / - Hello.

It's the birthday of one of my teammates.

I thought I'd give her a cake as a gift.

I was also wondering if you could

decorate it with ribbons and ballet toe shoes.

Could it be ready by noon on Saturday?

- Noon? Sure thing. / - That'd be great.

Hello.

Could you hold onto this cake for me?

(She came by an hour early with the cake.)

- My gosh. / - It's so pretty!

No way.

The small one here is for her

to blow out the candles with.

I've never been congratulated

on my birthday by coworkers while on a show before.

Jumi went online to look up my birthday.

It says a lot about who she is

#2 Skyrim: Norse Afterlife (Underworld and Ancestors) - Duration: 8:15.

Hello friends my name is Arith Härger and this is the second part of the Norse Afterlife

using the Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim - from Bethesda, to illustrate this subject

on the previous video i've talked about the concept of religion and the spirit

our view of the world was greatly influenced by religions which are based on the negation of reality;

religion for the individual;

separation between matter and spirit;

and the spirit which can't be divided

on the other hand a Norse/Germanic pagan view of the world is quite different

and in most aspects it's the opposite of the religions that shaped our modern societies

everything I have spoken on the previous video must be taken into consideration

if we are going to speak about the afterlife in the perspective of the ancient Scandinavian societies

we are used to certain ideas brought by Christianity

and such ideas are so carved in our social minds that it's hard to see the world from another point of view

when we read Norse mythology for the first time

everything seems out of place, vague ideas, pure fantasy that does not quite fit into a religious perspective

but that's because we do not have the same worldview of the ancient pagan Norse

understanding their perspective on life and the relation with the divine

everything else in the Norse mythology, the Sagas and Folktales start to make perfect sense

on this video I'm going to talk about the concept of the underworld, the ancestors and also the Draugr

but let's start with Hel - the realm of the Dead

as you know, with Christianity, Hel became associated with the infernal realm of the Christian faith

and even in anthropological, archaeological and historical studies

we couldn't let go the idea of Hel being a spiritual realm

even our Norse ancestors started to see Hel as a spiritual world when they came in contact with Christian ideas

by the time the Norse started to record their spirituality into parchment

they were already Christianized

so it's perfectly natural that their spiritual perspectives changed

but if we take a look at the pre-christian Germanic societies

the concept of Hel wasn't spiritual but literally beneath the earth

the pre-christian Norse saw the underworld as something literal

the earth right under our feet

where previous generations are buried

at first it seems strange

but let's take a few factors into consideration

first, the places where the dead were buried were considered sacred sites

secondly, the tombs were doors to access the world of the dead, literally

thirdly, the dead who were recognized for their influence on luck and fertility during life

were worshipped with the same respect people worshipped the gods themselves

for instance, Halfdan the Black (a ninth-century king of Vestfold, Norway)

his body was divided into four parts, taken to different locations of his kingdom

in order to maintain the fertility of such regions

and finally

the dead were commonly buried with various objects such as weapons, food, tools, and various things

that indicate not a tribute, pure and simple, but things that can be used in the afterlife

the underground is the home of the dead

while the surface is a gateway we use to be in contact with the dead

as I have said in the previous video

the Norse believed that matter and spirit are not separated

as such, it makes perfect sense that axes, spears and other objects were left with whoever was being buried

the dead person could use the objects left in the burial mound

in many societies we see the importance of certain mountains and hills as entrances to the underworld

places to be in contact with the dead or the realm of the dead itself

for instance, The Uluru, a rock formation which is one of Australia's most recognisable natural landmarks

it's filled with aboriginal myths

legends and traditions concerning the dead

the ancestors, and an entrance to the underworld

in scandinavian history we have the Helgafell (the holy mountain) in Iceland

which also has its tales concerning the dead and the underworld

and going inside it to be with the ancestors

the belief that mountains are gateways to the underworld

is a prehistoric belief carved in the old traditions

before another religion came with new ideas and concepts about the afterlife and changed all of that

the mountains were also commonly understood as the dwellings of elves

the elves were not only seen as spirits of the land but also ancestors

or that in which some ancestors would become when revered in a special way

the cult of the ancestors makes perfect sense if we continue to understand the spirit as something that can be divided

if we can divide our spirit with others

the spirit being linked with family members, members of the tribe and so on

this connection is also maintained with the ancestors

the matter isn't separated from the spirit

therefore we are still linked to the ancestors

the dead were not seen apart from the living

they were part of the lives of the living

they were not only revered in appreciation for what they did in life

even after death they were still part of the life of the family

the dead were the family members of the other side that still interacted with the living

this is why offerings were left to the dead

to ensure a continuation in the friendship and respect between the living and the dead

speaking of the dead . . .

this is when we have to speak about the Draugr

a very important part of the concept of life after death, especially among the Germanic and the Norse

were the Draugr

the animated dead

a Draugr was a sort of a living-dead

of course the concept we have of Draugr nowadays is of something that resembles a zombie

but that's a very southern-American concept

the European concept of the living-dead varies

the Draugr is sometimes seen as a ghost

but again [the concept] it was shaped by our modern view

the Draugr is not just a ghost that only inflicts psychological damage

the Draugr is an animated corpse with great strength that can physically attack living humans

of course the zombie is very similar

but that is a mindless creature under the control of something or someone

which has no free will

the Draugr had a sort of conscious

it was animated by the spirit, and even though it remained in its tomb it continued to haunt the living human community

in the Sagas the decapitation or cremation of the body was the only way to destroy a Draugr

much like a vampire

in this case it shows that the destruction of the material body seems to release the hamr - the "spiritual" form

in our modern minds bodies rarely remain attached to the spirit of the dead

the destruction of the body does not imply the destruction of the spirit

one worldview believes in the separation of the body and spirit

and another believes that matter and spirit cannot be separated

through the concept of the Draugr-

we see that the Norse believed that matter and spirit were linked

and couldn't be separated

therefore the Draugr itself is linked to the place of its burial

and to the way the dead were respected or worshiped by the living

this is one of the reasons I like this game - Skyrim

the Draugr here are not soulless, mindless zombies, with no purpose whatsoever

the Draugr in here resembles the Norse concept of matter being linked to the spirit

in here this creature is animated by the spirit, it has a conscious, it's intelligent, it has a puspose

and it's still very much in contact with the living

because death does not belong to another reality, rather it's part of this world

all right friends thank you so much for watching

this subject will have a third part

so I'll see you on the next video

Cosmic Girls' Cheng Xiao boasts her superior flexibility! [The Swan Club /2017.12.20] - Duration: 5:26.

(A ballet studio in Seoul)

Slowly breathe out as you bend to the side.

(We're seeing her in a leotard for the first time.)

Good job.

Bend your knees.

Think of an elastic band.

(Although she's a beginner, she's like a ballerina.)

The two feet must be touching.

Then...

(She truly is a beginner though.)

Stand up straight.

(She finds it hard to balance.)

(Groaning)

At first, you'll have to wiggle around,

but it'll soon click into place.

During the pilot episode,

they learned the basic positions

with the barre.

The next class won't cover that then.

And demi.

And up.

(The swans have already covered the basic positions.)

I needed to be up to speed,

and this was my third class.

On my way home today, I'm going to buy a book

and search the internet for more.

The keywords I search for these days

are "fine dust", "daily weather",

"ballet arms", "ballet legs",

and "calorie intake".

I'll be on TV revealing a lot of skin now.

I've rarely shot scenes in a bathing suit,

and this leotard is very close to one.

(She's scared of revealing skin.)

Relax your shoulders.

I'll hold onto you.

- En bas. / - En bas.

That's it.

(She starts with the basics.)

I may be slow since I am old now,

so all I want to do is not be a nuisance.

I'm actually quite scared.

I may not look like I'm nervous,

but I could be trembling inside.

(I'll join shortly after I learn the basics.)

(So, what will the other swans learn today?)

- Let's start with some stretches. / - Sure.

Before you dance,

you actually shouldn't do too many stretches.

If the muscles are too lengthened,

they'll easily be injured.

That's why we do more of an active stretch.

Cheng Xiao's very flexible.

You're both very flexible.

- I'm hurting here. / - This side is stiff.

(Cheng Xiao, do you trust me?)

(Of course. Be gentle.)

You're folded all the way.

- No, I'm not. / - All the way.

It hurts!

- My left leg... / - No, I can't go lower.

I can't seem to stretch this side.

(What's this noise?)

(Stiff Sungeun is screaming.)

- You're doing great. / - Good.

Okay, that's it.

You're red in the face.

(Stretching is too hard for me.)

I must've held my breath.

Now it's time

to strengthen our back muscles.

Lie down on your stomach.

I keep hunching forward.

Right, so lie facing down.

Once your partner sits on your legs, lift up.

My gosh.

Go down and come back up.

- Like this? / - Yes.

Jiwon, you can do it without the support.

Cross your hands over your chest.

Yoonah...

Yes, just like that.

All right.

- You'll need the support. / - I don't.

Well, I guess I do.

- I told you so. / - I was wrong.

You're very flexible.

(Cheng Xiao lifts up easily as well.)

Those two over there don't need any guidance from me.

We're being divided in terms of age.

Am I on this side then?

(Giggling)

Yoonah, you show them.

- Go ahead. / - All right.

This I can do.

- Sure. / - I can lift up.

What if I'm not able to do it?

(The battle between Team OB and Team YB.)

(Team YB is flexible in comparison.)

(Sungeun is as stiff as a wooden doll.)

(Will Yoonah save face for Team OB?)

- More. / - You're the best.

- This I can do. / - Of course.

(Wow!)

- This I can do. / - Of course.

See?

(Yoonah made it look easy.)

- You're the best. / - Try again.

Later, you'll be able to do this.

I'll hold onto your legs.

- Ms. Kim! / - Gosh.

That's impossible.

- Cheng Xiao, try it. / - You try it.

- You... / - Go on.

Hold on. Me?

I don't think I can do that.

- How are my arms? / - Good, now lift.

I knew it.

Look behind you.

Just don't compare yourself to them.

I won't even try to do that.

We're still learning, so let's focus on that.

I think Yoonah can do this.

I don't think so.

- You can do this. / - Hold on.

- Look at me. / - Look behind you.

- Look behind you. / - Peekaboo.

That's right. Peekaboo.

(Peekaboo?)

- Peekaboo! / - It's difficult.

Keep your elbows off the floor.

- That's it. / - Doesn't this

- remind you of a marionette? / - Watch your elbow.

(The highlight of an elementary school field day)

(The two moms take a trip down the memory lane.)

S. Korean Coast Guard fires 200 shots to chase off Chinese fishing boats - Duration: 0:51.

Officials say the Coast Guard fired around 200 gunshots to chase off dozens of Chinese

boats fishing illegally in South Korean waters off the west coast earlier this week.

Some 44 Chinese boats are said to have violated South Korea's exclusive economic zone about

100 kilometers off the southwest island of Gageodo Tuesday at dawn.

Despite a warning broadcast, the boats, armed with wires and steel spears sailed toward

a South Korean Coast Guard patrol boat.

Just after 9 a.m., the Coast Guard fired some 200 shots with K2 rifles, M-60 machine guns

and shotguns.

The boats fled about five hours after that.

Illegal fishing by Chinese boats off the west coast has long been a headache for South Korea

and on occasions they've resisted the Coast Guard violently.

China reportedly resumes its ban on group tours to S. Korea - Duration: 1:37.

South Korea-China relations seem to be taking many twists and turns,... best shown in the

tourism sector.

Less than a month after China resumed group tours to Korea, the country has reportedly

placed a ban again.

The ban also comes only days after the bilateral summit in Beijing.

China, however, has denied such reports.

Park Hee-jun reports.

Just five days after the South Korea-China summit,... numerous reports said Beijing resumed

its ban on package tours to Korea.

Reuters quotes an official at a Korean travel agency... who says he was told by a Chinese

company Tuesday afternoon... that China will not allow group tours bound for South Korea

as of January.

China banned group tours to the country earlier this year in retaliation for Seoul's decision

to deploy the U.S. missile defense system THAAD.

That ban had been lifted, partially, just a few weeks ago in the regions of Shandong

and Beijing, allowing some sales there to resume.

Following the reports, China denied the rumors,... saying that it seeks to expand exchanges between

the two countries.

The Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said it had not heard of such a ban and as

far as she knows,... the South Korea-China summit was a success.

She said that China is open to making further efforts toward enhancing bilateral ties in

various sectors.

If the travel ban is back in place, that would contrast sharply with the relatively friendly

climate during the South Korea-China summit last week aimed at getting diplomatic and

economic ties back to normal.

During the talks, the two countries' leaders agreed to put aside their differences on the

THAAD issue.

Yoon Ah meets her friend Lee Si Young who's 8 months pregnant! [The Swan Club /2017.12.20] - Duration: 13:45.

(Later that night)

It's the song you sang.

(She watches her previous performance with her son.)

It's still embarrassing to watch.

(She expressed her love for her family.)

(Taeha, I love you so much.)

(Everyone was touched by her genuine love.)

(And that's why she won 1st place.)

How is this worth first place?

(What did he just say?)

(What?)

(The honest son throws a punch.)

Why do you say that?

You're awful.

- Do you think I'm awful? / - Yes.

(Embarrassed)

Who were the judges?

(Dad, we should look into that.)

I think they gave you first place

because it'll never happen in the future.

Why are you all saying that?

Then we hop to the side.

Watch me.

Like this.

That's how it goes.

Goodness.

You look like a clown.

- What? / - A clown.

(Here we go!)

(The soccer player tries the move.)

- What are you doing? / - The move.

It goes like this.

Actually, I forgot.

I'm doomed.

(She calls someone.)

Hello?

- Jiwon. / - Hi, Sungeun.

What are you up to?

- Me? / - Yes.

I'm with Cheng Xiao.

(They're together?)

Cheng Xiao and I are practicing

the move we learned earlier.

- Hi, Sungeun. / - Cheng Xiao?

- Hi, Sungeun. / - Cheng Xiao?

We were practicing the "Dance of the cygnets".

Really?

(The two were already practicing the dance.)

(They move sideways following Jiwon's lead.)

That's it.

(Screaming)

I'm going to get the cramps.

Have you been practicing then?

Yes.

(Already?)

(What about me?)

(Whimpering)

I want to join you too.

I've been trying to practice now that I'm free,

but I can't remember the moves.

The choreography is repetitive,

so why don't I film a video of it for you?

One, two, three, four,

five, six, seven, eight.

Pas de bourree and coupe.

(Okay, and cut!)

Good.

Do you think that was clear enough?

- Yes, I think so. / - But...

(While Jiwon and Cheng Xiao practice,)

(Yoonah heads somewhere.)

(And at that place,)

(someone awaits her with warm tea.)

(Actress Lee Siyoung)

- Siyoung. / - Yoonah, how have you been?

My goodness. You're not showing at all.

You really should take it easy.

(They share an emotional embrace.)

- Are you coming from a workout? / - Yes.

You seem to be slimming down too.

How's the ballet coming along?

It's killing me.

I'm enjoying the show.

I have something to give you.

I don't know if it'll be a girl, but...

(Squealing)

Ta-da.

(It's a gift for her unborn child.)

- Isn't it adorable? / - I'll make sure

to take a picture after putting it on.

- Isn't it adorable? / - It is.

Thank you so much.

- I didn't get you anything though. / - It's fine.

How's the prenatal education coming along?

- I've been working out. / - Is that it?

Yes, and I've been eating well.

- I'm already eight months along. / - I know.

I'm only two months away.

- I bet you're nervous. / - I wanted to ask.

Did you give a natural birth?

I gave birth rather quickly.

I'm the queen of easy delivery.

- That I'm jealous of. / - You will be too.

(Siyoung took on every challenge bravely.)

(And now she's taking on the challenge as a mom.)

- Early January. / - Here you go.

Thank you.

- It looks delicious. / - Let's dig in.

It all looks good.

I don't know much about ballet.

There's a move in ballet

that can help with the delivery.

Would you like to learn it?

There's a move called a plie. Don't you know it?

(It's supposed to be an elegant move.)

(This is perfect for Siyoung!)

Just standing in the first position

opens up your hips like so.

This alone does wonders.

Then you go ahead and perform the plie.

There's a similar move in yoga as well.

Those who can squat deeply

and stand up again have easy deliveries.

- Really? / - If you can't come back up though,

you won't.

Why do you seem so sure of it?

I actually did this move earlier today.

- With the heels together, you squat down. / - Right.

Then you have to come up.

That posture you should maintain.

Hold on. I'll try again.

- The grand plie. / - Squat down and come back up.

(Yoga and ballet use similar muscles,)

(so ballet is just as good for pregnant women.)

We practice this move.

- Like that. / - It's similar to ballet.

It improves your lines

and your posture.

We're mentored by a male dancer,

and he's handsome with long limbs.

(The handsome Kiwan)

Do you prefer him more to ballet?

No, he's just one of our ballet tutors.

Anyway, he talks in a very elegant manner as well.

So, you prefer ballerinos then.

I'm just saying that they're not bad.

The moves in ballet

helps slim down the muscles in my arms

by elongating them.

It'll be good for you.

My arms are double the size of yours.

Don't you remember how slender they were?

Especially when you shot "Land of the Wind".

(Were they?)

You were extremely feminine back then.

(She was sweet and graceful.)

You were so pretty.

I'm still amazed when I think back to that time.

You were in a leading role

while I was in a small role.

Still, you came up to me to talk.

I didn't realize it then,

but now I know how incredible you were to do so.

It was nothing.

That was 10 years ago.

Anyway, you're now more in the spotlight.

You were so pretty back then,

and you talked in such a gentle manner.

- Are you disappointed now? / - Of course not.

You're way cooler now.

You do action scenes in harnesses

and hang from wires.

After shooting the scene, I went to the ER.

Nobody knew about it though.

It was early in your pregnancy.

Yes, I was about three months along.

Anyway, I thought I could use some fluids.

- But... / - What happened?

The doctor wouldn't allow it.

He said that it was for sick patients

- and that I was too healthy. / - No way.

You won't believe how embarrassed I was.

That's great though. There's nothing better than that.

I was shot in the stomach twice.

- Was there a shooting scene? / - Yes.

The baby's head was to the right,

so I said I'd take the shots to the left.

How was the baby?

It was fine.

(Siyoung's baby went through a lot.)

What I hear the most is that

you're happiest during the pregnancy.

After having the baby, it's nothing but hard work.

- You can't take your eyes off it. / - Right.

- Exactly. / - They wander off so fast.

That's why it's so hard.

- It just is. / - I'm already worried.

You're that happier though.

The baby brings you happiness.

(They're now both mothers.)

(And they share a common ground as one.)

Do you practice ballet every day?

Yes, I'm off to a lesson after this.

Do you do other workouts too?

Yes, I jump rope.

You should run.

It improves your overall health.

Running just five kilometers can do the trick.

(Five kilometers?)

I get up at 6:30 a.m., so join me.

(Gulping)

Do you run five kilometers in the morning?

No, I run about seven to eight kilometers.

(No way)

- It's easy for you, but... / - There's an easy way.

Running the entire five kilometers is hard,

so you run two and a half kilometers

and then run back home.

(Blinking)

(Run two and a half kilometers and then what?)

So you go back after running two and a half kilometers?

Yes, then you'll be back

- where you first started. / - Right.

That's five kilometers.

At the two and a half kilometers mark,

you'll feel like you've already made it.

What if I can't run

the entire two and a half kilometers?

- Just do it. / - What?

You can do what you put your mind to.

Aren't you putting on a ballet show?

Yes, we're going to.

There must be a leading role in it.

Jiwon will be that since she's the best dancer.

What do you expect to accomplish with that attitude?

I'm not hungry for the role.

Still, you should think

of yourself as the principal dancer.

That's not a goal of mine.

(Sighing)

(Yoonah...)

It's like talking to a wall.

(Yoonah needs a wakeup call.)

(Glaring)

Now I know why you couldn't execute that scene.

- Really? / - What was with the petals?

What was that?

What on earth is wrong with you?

It was funny to watch.

(Whimpering)

Now throw it away.

That's right.

No, keep it gentle.

I was praised for my acting though.

Ms. Kim told me that I did it well

and that I had a good memory.

She can't speak ill of you on the first day.

(My goodness)

I'm not saying you should be the best.

Of course you won't be better than a ballerina.

That's right.

They have had decades of training.

I'm just saying that they should be your goal.

You're right about that.

I don't think I've thought of it that way.

I just love learning ballet,

and I like the serenity of it.

I dreamed of becoming a dancer as a kid,

but I had to give up on it.

It's just fun to be able to dream again.

(Yoonah's long-cherished dream)

(She was happy to be able to dance again.)

I've never thought of it that deeply before.

I'll keep a close eye on you.

While watching the show,

I'll root for you thinking that you have

a chance to be in a leading role.

I'll do my best to make you proud.

- I really will. / - Good.

All right.

(A date with the sweet but scary Siyoung)

(The swans are in the studio the next day.)

- Your toenail might dig in. / - It already is.

- What now? / - What if it falls off?

You're dancing with an injury.

(Dancing with an injury)

I tried to practice the sequence at home,

- but I couldn't remember it. / - Tell me about it.

- I told you so. / - Yesterday,

since I wasn't getting anywhere,

I asked Jiwon to send me a video.

- Really? / - Yes.

- She was practicing with Cheng Xiao. / - Really?

So, she recorded this for me.

I was shocked because it seemed completely new to me.

(They both concentrate on the video.)

I don't know what to do.

We obviously learned this,

but I don't remember any of it.

Let's hurry up and practice.

She starts off like this.

- Like this. / - One, two, three, four.

And go.

- One, two, three, four, / - One, two, three, four,

- five, six, seven, eight. / - five, six, seven, eight.

(Oddly enough, they're doing well.)

- three, four, five, six, / - three, four, five, six,

- seven, eight, nine, ten. / - seven, eight, nine, ten.

- And one, two, three. / - And one, two, three.

Wait. Did we do it?

I'm worried to try again in case we mess up.

(They're nervous and anxious.)

- I want to do better. / - Me too.

- We hold hands like this. / - Right.

And go.

- One, two, three, four. / - One, two, three, four.

Let's try again, and go.

- One, two, three, four, / - One, two, three, four,

- five, six, seven, eight. / - five, six, seven, eight.

- nine, ten. / - nine, ten.

- Keep going. / - Keep going.

(The two paddles to look elegant above water.)

(Focused)

(Finally)

- Nine, ten. Here we go. / - Nine, ten.

Gosh, we did it.

- We did it. / - It's perfect enough for us.

(It was exhausting, but they're proud.)

We were able to do it now,

but what if we can't during class?

(No way...)

(However)

(They didn't know that it may come true.)

You must take this more seriously.

(Greatly nervous)

You need to be humble as well.

It won't work if you continue this way.

(What happened to the swans?)
