Yu Suzuki interview (Gamescom 2017) by Shenmue Master [ENGLISH] - Duration: 14:56.

In August 2017, Gamescom was held in Germany.

It is one of the most important gaming conventions in Europe.

With the announcement of a new partnership with publisher Deep Silver,

Yu Suzuki was present to share development progress with various media

and meet fans of his work over signing sessions.

Shenmue Master once again had the great honour to speak directly with the father of the saga.

And as usual, we took the opportunity to interview him

and go deeper in our understanding of the various aspects of this masterpiece we treasure so much

called... Shenmue.

If Shenmue is highly praised,

I think we may find part of the answer within subtlety and the depth of the theme sitcovers.

The gentle nostalgia for Japan of the Showa era,

the introspection of a puerile feeling of revenge,

the fulfilment through travelling and meeting people, etc...

So many subjects that Shenmue treats with the sensitivity of true author's work.

A certain maturity in the choice and treatment of themes that are a bit unusual in the video game industry.

Today, surveys reveal that the average age of Shenmue fans is between 30 and 35 years old.

Production of Shenmue I & II was huge inside the AM2 studio of SEGA.

Budget, development time, number of workers... everything suggests

that Yu Suzuki was the head of one of the most ambitious works of its time.

Paradoxically, Shenmue has been reborn as a Kickstarter indie project,

and Yu Suzuki now has to deal with a team smaller than he had in the past.

In the past few years, many people have raised questions

about the lack of risktaking, originality and creativity within the gaming industry.

Having a bland vision of modern gaming is not uncommon

and it's easy to think that games are now too generic and moreover "disposable".

Interactivity is an inherent part and the very essence of video gaming.

In Shenmue I & II, the tool of interactivity has been wisely used to immerse the player in the Shenmue universe

and let him experiment with quite unusual things.

At a time when Game Design schools are teaching an meticulous calibration of a game's rhythm,

the stabbing rhythm of a Shenmue conducive to contemplation and relaxingwalks may seem backbreaking for excited gamers.

At Shenmue Master, we deeply appreciate the particular pace of Shenmue I & 2

which fluctuates between gentle peacefulness, invigorating escalation and sheer turbulence.

That said the question arises.

Yu Suzuki greatly appreciates the Chinese culture.

He mentioned it in many interviews and conferences.

For more than 15 years, Shenmue fans have dreamt about finally entering the "Miao Village" that Shenhua likes to talk about.

The Miao are one of the 55 minority groups recognized by the Chinese government

and are mainly located in the remote lands of South China.

Ren's character has brought some humor into Shenmue II.

Mischievous, quite wily and contemptous...

Ren starred in many scenes that did not go unnoticed and certainly made you smile if not laugh.

I don't know for you, but within Shenmue Master, we have been wondering for a long time

about the meaning of the eagle in the Shenmue saga.

Beyond their evocative power during the iconic intros of Shenmue I & II,

let's not forget that a sculpture of an eagle can be found in the Hazuki Dojo basement which belonged to Iwao Hazuki.

It was too good an opportunity to miss:

It is on this inspired and inspiring answer that our interview ends.

It's already my 4th interview for Shenmue Master

and I can never thank you enough for your invaluable support.

As we're not professionnal, our trip to Germany was full of obstacles

but I'm still astonished to see how our unexpected new meeting

demonstrated once again the sincere esteem Yu Suzuki has for the fans of his work.

Let's celebrate, Shenmue III is coming, thanks to the recent support of publisher Deep Silver.

And if the progress videos intended primarily for investors can be misinterpreted,

let's not forget that Yu Suzuki claimed that the real marketing campaign will only start in 2018.

Finally, be aware that we, the Shenmue Master team appreciate Shenmue precisely for its background.

In this regard, with the benefit of this new interview,

we are eager like never before to continue Ryo's journey deep inside China

along with characters who still have a lot to tell us.

Buy Bitcoin Securely. 90% are doing it wrong! 3 steps to stay safe. - Duration: 9:31.

This is how you buy bitcoin and not get them stolen off the exchange later.

90% are doing it wrong.

If you are trading already, while this is a getting started video,

and I will cover Etherdelta and everything in subsequent videos,

please please please watch this video for the security portion.

It's important for everyone.

If you find this video useful, which is really boring,

you will love my other videos, so please subscribe.

After I launched my crypto insights, everyone I know and their dog have asked me

"How to buy Bitcoin?"

While fact is that anyone who has ever bought anything on the Internet, will have no problems

at all buying Bitcoin.

The trick is to not get them stolen later.

I hope that this video will save you a fortune.

This guy here is a seasoned crypto trader since 3 years.

I follow his advice with great respect on Twitter.

One day he posted this: Woken up to an empty XCXT wallet.

Somehow they managed to steal them.

Then a while later:

I can't believe it.

Over a third of my portfolio gone.

And I swear I do everything, security-wise.

Finally:

Oh my God.

They've somehow gotten into my bittrex account and sold my coins there too.

Everything is gone guys.

I'm done.

After this he started rebuilding his portfolio.

A true inspiration and a reminder that success is not about never falling,

it's about getting back up.

And it's the difference between being poor and being broke.

Poor is permanent.

Broke is temporary.

If that can happen to him, who is an authority in the field, I can assure you

that it can happen to you.

Have I scared you enough that you will take this seriously and actually do what I say?

I hope so.

I will show you how to do this safely.

Crypto is the opportunity of the decade, maybe of the century.

Peter Brandt who has been trading for 43 years says he has never seen anything like this.

Don't miss it.

Let's buy some bitcoin!

If this is your first bitcoin, Coinbase is the place to start.

It is super easy, you can't go wrong.

If you follow my link here below the video, you get $10 free bitcoin when you purchase

over $100, and you help me keep my videos free.

Coinbase supports 28 countries, but if you live somewhere where they don't operate,

there are plenty of other similar exchanges and all the advice that I will give you apply

in the exact same way.

Let's click the link below this YouTube video, and we come here, where we can sign up.

Make sure that you pick a strong password and not the same one you use all across Internet.

We sign up.

After this you are taken through an account verification, where you can add a credit card

for the first payment.

It looks a little bit different depending on where you live and your payment method,

so I won't confuse you by showing how that looks for me, but it is truly super easy.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with this.

After that, the important part starts.

Default is to receive codes by SMS.

You may have read about this, and in crypto it happens a lot:

It's actually very easy to steal someone's phone number.

I've been part of creating the mobile revolution, so believe me when I say it's easy.

What the attackers do, is that they call your carrier and convince the customer service

representative that they are you, and get them to transfer your phone number

to another SIM card.

Then they reset your email password, and then move on to your other services,

like your crypto exchange.

This is not specific to crypto, and it can cause severe damage even in your social networks.

One of my closest colleagues, she had her Facebook account hacked and the attacker sent

messages to a few of her friends saying that she was in a medical emergency and that she

needed, urgently, money at the hospital.

Since they know that she is rather wealthy, they had no issue sending over substantial

amounts of money - to the impostor.

It's such a horrible idea to send passwords over SMS and I can't believe that many of

the Internet giants still allow this.

So you need to get rid of the codes over SMS to your email, your Facebook, your Twitter

and your crypto exchanges.

Ok, now we will enable a much better 2 factor authentication.

So we go to Settings and Security and we click here "Enable Authenticator".

First we will receive a code over SMS.

We enter it here and this is what we will get rid of.

Now you see at the top there, there is a string of numbers and letters.

We will write that on an actual piece of paper.

If you are like me and you haven't used one in a while, it looks like this.

It's kind of white, little bit thin and you write on it with this type of device,

not sure where you charge it though.

What Nik did, was that he saved this string also on his computer.

Then he got a virus and the hacker had access to everything.

DON'T save it on your computer!

Then we simply go to App Store or Google Play and we download Google Authenticator.

Simply point the camera on the computer screen where Coinbase displays the QR code.

The code you see on the phone, the 6 digit number code, you type into this box to confirm

activating Authenticator, and now we can see it is activated.

Finally, on the right side there, you pick the top option for "Any amount of digital currency".

Tip number 3.

After you signed up from my link below, bookmark Coinbase in your browser

and when you want to visit the page again, only go there from your bookmark, like this.

Don't click any links in any emails!

Don't google Coinbase and click the first hit.

You will get emails with links to fake sites.

You will see fake Google ads, leading to a similar-looking, but fake site.

It doesn't matter what security solution you have, if you type everything into the wrong site.

Now we will buy some bitcoins - bitcoin that will be here tomorrow as well.

Now we will actually buy some bitcoin.

We just go here to Buy/Sell

and we enter the amount, so 100 EUR

or maybe I take 104 so that I get 100 after the fees.

I click OK and I confirm the buy.

That's it.

Then I get an email also confirming the buy.

So buying bitcoin is really, really simple.

Now in the future when you change phones or you just upgrade the iOS, you will need this

code to reinstall it, so don't lose the paper.

Ok, that was a lot of boring lecture, but I hope it will save you a fortune one day.

The principles here are the same for everything that you will do,

from this point onwards in crypto.

For now, just celebrate your bitcoin.

Welcome to the future!

In the next part we will cover much more advanced services.

We will cover stop losses on Binance and Bittrex, we will cover small cap trading on Etherdelta

and HitBTC, we will do margin trading on BitMEX, and actually the Coinbase account that you

just created will serve you very well, as you move on to the GDAX service with better

fee structure in the long run.

I will also add discounted referral links to some of those as well, in the text below

this video, in case you want to start the sign-up and verification process for those

already now.

Please follow me on twitter as @ctolarsson and I recommend to mark that notification bell

so you receive updates while fresh.

Timing is key in crypto.

Same on YouTube, please mark that bell.

Thank you.

Stay safe.

Do your own research.

Wishing you all green lights.

Ciao!

Chord Hugo 2 DAC review - Duration: 13:14.

Chord's DAC's have populated my stereos for over a decade and my enthusiasm for the

original Hugo was enormous.

Now there is the Hugo 2: same concept but further developed.

Since I am not a headphone listener, I have always listened to my Hugo only over loudspeakers.

I know it was initially intended as portable DAC and headphone amp, although it also has

RCA outputs and thus can easily be used as stationary DAC.

From what I heard I was not the only one that used the Hugo that way.

The recessed connectors - well intended - were inconvenient for they accept only compact

connectors and not all audiophile connectors.

And the power switch - also recessed - was hard to operate.

I couldn't care less for the unique WTA filtering made the Hugo sound far better than

other DAC's for that money at that time.

Never the less the Hugo 2 recently came to market, improving on the sound and a number

of practical matters.

And since More's law dictates ever increasing power to microprocessors, further improvement

was achieved there too.

Hight and depth remained about the same but the width increased a few millimetres and

the Hugo 2 now measures 130 x 100 x 21 mm.

On one short side two micro USB sockets are found, one for the digital audio input and

the second for power.

A standard wall wart phone charger comes with the unit.

As always with these switching mode power supplies: be careful where to plug them in.

The power input of the Hugo 2 might be well filtered but for instance your amp might not.

I have heard people disconnecting the power supply from their Hugo when they are playing

while leaving the power supply plugged into the mains.

That's the wrong way around: disconnect the power supply from the mains, the connection

to the Hugo is of no consequence.

I myself always connect these switching mode power supplies to a mains filter, not to feed

it with a cleaner power but to prevent the high switching frequency to get into the mains

that is feeding audio equipment.

Back to the Hugo 2.

I am not a big fan of the microUSB connectors but given the portability it's an acceptable compromise.

On the far ends are two threaded holes which give the impression a streamer attachment

like the Poly for the Mojo might become an option.

Not that I have any info on this.

Chord users might notice the legenda next to and above the microUSB sockets.

This is also new to the Hugo 2.

Traditionally Chord never labels their knobs and buttons.

Talking about buttons, just above the micro USB connectors and best operated from the

top are four illuminated ball shaped buttons that lets you select one of four filters,

one of six inputs, one of three headphone cross-feeds and power on/off.

The balls are identical to those of the Mojo and they work fine although you have to get

used to the color indication for each selection.

On the top also the volume control, again using colours to indicate the position.

The right side holds the headphone outputs, one on 3.5 mm jack and one on 6.3 mm jack,

a line output on two RCA's, an optical digital input on TOSlink and two digital inputs on one 3.5 jack.

This is like with the Mojo with the difference that here the tip and the ring each are digital inputs.

This is not standard and while an optical and a USB cable come with the Hugo 2,

a 75 Ω RCA to jack has to be bought separately - if you can find one.

A remote comes with the Hugo 2 and it's an elegant, bespoke remote, not one of those

general purpose ones of which a number of buttons don't do anything.

The infrared sensor is mounted on the PCM so the viewing glass - the port hole as I call it -

should not be obstructed.

I was surprised how well the infrared signal was received when the Hugo was placed in the stereo rack.

And that's a good thing since the volume control can't be done over the USB connection.

Many portable DAC's and also the Mytek Brooklyn in my setup 1 can be controlled form the music

playing software on the computer or smartphone.

The Hugo 2 can't, which is remarkable for a portable DAC-headphone/amp combi.

Don't worry I won't make it too technical.

I have written about the Rob Watts WTA filter in previous Chord reviews and I won't repeat it here in detail.

You only have to know that the more computational power is available, the higher the resolution

in time the filtering becomes.

Watts programs a programmable chip -a so called field programmable gate array - and these

become more powerful by the day.

The Xilinx Artix 7 used in the Hugo 2 now is able to work with 49,152 poles - that define

the precision in time - while the original Hugo had to do with 26,368 poles.

The average DAC chip uses far less poles, like only a few hundred.

When I look at the measurements I see an extremely linear DAC down to -120 dBR and a noise floor

that is lowered again compared to the Hugo.

That's no guarantee for a good sound but id does show how well engineered the Hugo 2 is.

Another thing to mention is that the Bluetooth radio has been made stronger.

In the Hugo one the radio was kept at a low sensitivity for it was intended to be used

on the go with the Hugo in one pocket and your phone in the other.

But if you wanted to stream in the living room, the distance would be a lot bigger and

that gave complaints.

The Hugo 2 has a more sensitive Bluetooth radio to solve this.

As said the Hugo 2 has six inputs: async USB, Coax 1, Coax 2, Optical, Bluetooth APTX and

Coax dual data mode.

The async USB is USB Audio profile 2 and thus needs a driver for use with Windows computers

- available from the Chord site.

Apple OS, Linux, iOS and Android all support Profile 2 and thus need no driver.

It accepts 768 kHz 32 bit sampling and DSD up to DSD512.

The coax SPDIF inputs each do 384 kHz but provided the right source is used, the two

SPDIF inputs can be combined to Dual Data Mode to do 768 kHz using two 384 kHz streams.

The TOSlink input is limited to 192 kHz while the Bluetooth aptX receiver only does 44.1 or 48 kHz.

Four different reconstruction filters are available,

two use 256 times oversampling, one being ruler flat up to 20 kHz and one

slightly rolling off to - 1 dB at 20 kHz.

The other two filters use 16 fold oversampling with the same flat and roll off variants.

It is a matter of taste which one you prefer and to be honest, the differences aren't that big.

Although I didn't need the battery, it would be wrong not to mention that two 2600 milli ampere/hour batteries

are mounted that provide in total 7 to 8 hours of playing time.

Using the supplied power supply these can be totally recharched in 4 hours.

If you would use a 1 amp power supply, like many smartphones use, it would take 8 hours.

The first version of the Hugo was close to a revolution.

I remember saying that you'll be hard pressed to find an equally good sounding DAC for twice the money.

The Hugo 2 takes that further, offering even more resolution in time.

With that come sound properties you will expect, like an improved stereo image, more precise

imaging and cleaner attacks.

It also brings more tonality to low notes.

And it somehow reduces the way your room modes are excited.

Really!

Perhaps the reason lies inn that room modes need an amount of energy over time to get exited.

The less time smearing the shorter pulses are and the less they feed sufficient energy

over time to excite the room.

So the Hugo 2 clearly outperforms the original Hugo sound wise.

Then what about my current reference in my setup 1, the Mytek Brooklyn?

Well, especially the combination of the SOtM-sMS-200 Ultra and the Brooklyn is extremely hard to beat.

It offers even more resolution, bringing all the related sound properties to extremely high level.

But that doesn't make the Hugo 2 a bad DAC.

As said, it outperforms the original Hugo in every respect.

One thing I need to say: it does take over a week being switched on to get the Hugo burned in.

To do this, you have to feed it with music constantly for it will switch off after seeing

no input signal for 15 minutes.

So if you go to compare, make sure you use a burned in sample for a fresh one out of

the box doesn't come close.

With the Hugo 2 Chord brings the Hugo concept to a higher level.

Of course sound wise, but also operational.

A longer WTA filtering leading to an even better sound, support of higher sampling rates,

better Bluetooth range, remote control, better placed connectors and power switch and even

a more powerful headphone amp.

And that's a good thing for rapid developments in digital audio make he competition fierce.

The Hugo 2 has kept the good things of the Hugo 1 and improved on that.

Whether you need to upgrade to the Hugo 2 is a decision only you can make.

All the extra features dit raise the price to € 2,190 in Europe or £ 1,800 pounds in the UK, both including VAT

or $ 1,995 excluding sales tax in the States.

But I think it's still the preferred choice for those that want portability and a very good sound.

The Hugo 2 is fit for the coming few years.

In the mean time I keep tracking equally interesting developments, who knows what's around the corner.

SOULCALIBUR VI - PS4/XB1/PC - Sophitia Showcase (Developer Diary) (subtitles available) - Duration: 1:35.

So today

I would like to talk about

Sophitia, one of the core characters in SOULCALIBUR.

She's from Athens

and fights using a sword and shield.

I believe you all already know as much.

The way she fights is representative of SOULCALIBUR on the whole.

She uses an orthodox style

that anyone can control well.

This makes her a highly recommended character, even for novices.

I believe that many of you have already seen the trailer that was released.

She is younger than in SOULCALIBUR 4

and I hope that you're all quite excited

to check out what fate has in store for her

in this edition of SOULCALIBUR.

Sophitia and Mitsurugi were actually

the first characters made

during the game's development.

We then used that as a foundation

and made decisions for the other characters

such as their movement, visuals, etc.,

based on how they would fit with Sophitia and Mitsurugi.

I do think that we were able to model them in a very beautiful way this time, with some cute charm as well.

I'd like our fans to kind of keep this in mind as they're having fun playing the game.

5 Keys to Live Your Dreams - Duration: 28:30.

TERRI: Did you know Harvard did research proving one of the

greatest success keys comes from the Word of God? Today I

want to show you how to apply that in your life.

(Music)

TERRI: Hey, I'm Terri Savelle Foy, and you're

watching "Live Your Dreams". I pray that as

you invest in yourself today you're captivated and you're

catapulted to live your dreams. I'm passionate about teaching

people how to get serious about their future, how to go from

just wishing things would change to living your dreams. You know,

I like to even explain how to make a vision board, how to get

your dreams, images of where you want to go, get it on the vision

board. If you were to hand this to a kid and say, "Tell me what

you want for Christmas. Put pictures on here of what you

really want for Christmas.", they would probably fill this

board up and say, "Give me another one", because they have

no problem dreaming and imagining. One of the biggest

reasons they're so good at this is because they're not trying to

figure out how it's ever going to happen. If you give a vision

board to an adult, give them the vision board kit, it'll sit in a

closet for maybe even a year, two years, with nothing on it.

Why? We've stopped dreaming. We've stopped giving ourselves

permission to dream. We've stopped using the gift of our

imagination. Albert Einstein even said, "Your imagination is

everything. It's simply a preview of life's coming

attractions." If you really think about that statement, when

you go to the movies and you watch a preview of a movie

that's about to come out you don't see the whole film, you

just see a snapshot, a preview of what's about to happen. Well

that's what happens when you sit and dream. You stop trying to

figure out how it can happen, you just sit and give yourself

permission to dream. You're going to start to see a

snapshot, preview of what God wants to do in your life. I want

to share with you five keys that I've applied in my life to go

from just wishing things would change to living my dreams.

Number one is give yourself permission to dream. I always

tell people, start with a blank canvas. Start with just what is

it that God has put in your heart. What do you need to get

serious about? I think about in the Bible when God said to

Jeremiah, he said, "Jeremiah, what do you see?" Jeremiah began

to answer him. He began to say things like, "I see a tree

blossoming in late winter." He began to describe what he saw.

Then the Lord said to him, "You've seen well. I'm watching

over my Word to perform it." To perform what? What he saw. Then

he came to him another time, "Jeremiah, what do you see?",

and he began to tell him. Imagine, what if God had said,

"Jeremiah, what do you see?", and Jeremiah said, "Nothing."

Well if you see nothing, you can expect nothing. You have to

imagine God saying to you today ... What if God showed up in

your living room today and said, "Tell me what you see. What do

you see in your future? What do you want me to do? What do you

see over the next 12 years of your life?" I want to be able to

stand before the Lord and say, "Lord, this is what I see. I see

me preaching to thousands of people. I see millions of

dollars helping us impact teenagers all over the world. I

see us having our own TV broadcast. I see us writing

books that are going to change lives", and God saying, "Great.

I'm going to watch over my Word to perform what you see." I want

you to do that. Get serious about what you see on the

inside. It's like Mark Twain said, "I can teach anybody how

to get what they want in life. The problem is I can't find

anybody who can tell me what they truly want." When was the

last time you got that serious about your future, about your

dreams. It may be a dream of paying off some debt. Maybe it's

a dream of a car that you've been believing for but now you

need to kick it up a notch. Get a picture of that car, keep it

before your eyes. Number one is give yourself permission to

dream. Number two is clarity. Clarity is key when it comes to

your dreams and goals. You've got to take the time to grab a

pen and some paper and write the dreams that God has put in your

heart. If you go to any success conference they will tell you

the power of the pen. They will tell you that if you want to be

successful you have to write your dreams and goals. I started

the broadcast by talking about how Harvard did a certain

research, and they saw proven success principles from

something that came from the Word of God. Listen to this. One

of the most fascinating studies of writing your dreams was

conducted by the 1979 Harvard MBA Program. Graduate students

were asked, "Do you have clear, written goals for your future?"

A shocking 3% had written goals and plans. Of the 1,000

students, 13% had some goals but never wrote them down. An

alarming 84% had no goals whatsoever. Ten years later the

same graduating class was interviewed and this is what

they discovered. The 3% who had written their goals were earning

on average 20 times as much as the 97% combined. That's a

powerful research, isn't it? Do you know it came from the Word

of God? God's the one who said in Habakkuk 2:2, "Write the

vision and make it plain." Number two is clarity is key.

When you write your dreams and goals you get clear on what

you're believing for. Number three is displaying your vision.

You have to keep it somewhere in sight. You've heard that phrase,

"Out of sight, out of mind." It's true. You've got to make

this a part of your daily routine. I put my vision board,

I have one in my office that my desk faces. Every day when I

look up from my desk I see where the ministry is headed. I have

one in my home, in my closet. I spend a lot of time in there.

That's where I put my makeup on, I have a big mirror in there.

I'm looking at my dreams every single day. Then I just make it

a part of my routine. I don't just walk by it and think it's

just like a painting hanging on the wall. No, you can't just let

it blend in with the artwork. You have to use your faith. You

have to speak to those dreams, call things that be not as

though they already are. Let me just warn you, not just anybody

can see your dreams. In fact there's a lot of people who

don't need to see your dreams because they're going to laugh

at your dreams, they're going to try to convince you your dreams

are too big, they're going to try to talk you out of it. I

always say don't share big dreams with small minds. Small

minds, they have a way of sucking ambition right out of

you. Big minds have a way of elevating you to reach your

highest potential. Not just anybody can see your dreams. I

want to challenge you. You need to surround yourself with big

dreamers. You need to surround yourself with people who believe

that anything is possible with God. Surround yourself with

those kind of friends. I think it was T.D. Jakes or

Myles Munroe said "If you want to know where your

life is heading, look at your friends." Look at the

list of names in your cell phone. I've read this story,

and I thought this was so cool. I put it in my book

in the chapter about "Don't share big dreams with small

minds." This was a story about a man who went from rags to riches

after deciding to change his friendships. Listen to this. He

said he looked around at his closest friendships and he

noticed they equally hated hard work and had no intention or

desire to improve themselves. Out of curiosity he asked a very

wealthy man who wasn't any more talented than him or more

educated than him, "How were you able to become a millionaire?"

The wealthy man said simply four words, "Keep the right company."

Keep the right company, so he did. He followed that advice by

attending conventions and seminars to connect with people

who wanted more out of life. As he began making connections with

these new goal oriented people he decided to make a list. He

said the list was really quite simple, one column was for those

who would improve the quality of his life, the other column was

for those who would drag him down. This is what he said if an

individual on the list could improve his life he would spend

as much time as possible in their presence. If someone could

drag him down, he limited his time to no more than five

minutes around them. After following his make it or break

it list he became a millionaire within three years. Keep the

right company. Isn't that amazing? Well, like I said, if

you want to know where your life is headed look at your list of

friends, look at your friends around you. Well, I'm not saying

don't be friends with people who don't have big dreams, don't

invest in them, sow into them, but I am saying that you become

like those you spend the most time with. Iron sharpens iron.

You might say, "Well Terri, I don't have any big dreaming

friends that I can just hang around." I completely understand

that. What you do is you start reading their books, you start

listening to their audios. That's what I started doing

years ago. Of course, I do have some friends, I mean my dad.

He's a big dreamer. I didn't have a lot of people around me

challenging me to go after my dreams. I started investing in

myself by reading books from people that I admired, that I

respect, people I wanted to be like. I started listening to

their audios. What you repeatedly hear you eventually

believe. I started listening to big dreamers. I started

subscribing to podcasts so that every day I'm building my faith,

I'm stretching my imagination, I'm thinking bigger. It's

amazing when you start investing in yourself your thinking begins

to grow. When you elevate your thinking you elevate your life

like Keith Craft says. Well you have to make that investment in

yourself. What do you do while you're waiting for these dreams?

Number four: you grow. You grow yourself, you build your faith

like never before. I always set a challenge for myself. Every

day I make a point to push play, to listen to faith building

messages. My goal is always, "I'm going to build my faith

more today than I did yesterday." Every time you hear

the word, faith comes. When God gives you a dream that looks

impossible you can respond with either faith or fear. The most

common response is going to be fear because you want to go,

"Lord, I don't know how this could happen. I don't have the

resources, I don't have the relationships, I don't have the

connections, I don't have the money. I don't know how to make

this happen." You respond with all this doubt and fear and

unbelief. How do you get to a place in your life where you

say, "Lord, I don't know how this is ever going to happen,

but I trust you." That comes by building your faith. How do you

get more faith? Faith comes by hearing. I want to challenge

you. Apply the steps that I just shared with you today and your

life will go from just wishing things will change to living

your dreams. I want to share with you one more vital key that

I believe many people overlook, they disregard it, sometimes

they don't want to do it, but this is the deal breaker to go

from just pictures on cork board to actually living the dream.

When we come back I'll share that step with you.

TERRI: We're talking about you getting serious about your

vision, about your dreams and your goals and even

creating a vision board. You know, vision board parties

become popular all around the world. People are meeting in

houses, in churches and small groups and creating vision

boards. You know what's exciting? They're actually

seeing their dreams achieved. I receive testimonies all the time

from people all over the world who are realizing their dreams,

everything from getting pregnant, they didn't believe in

God for a baby for years and they got pregnant. One couple

said, "We didn't have a vision board but we actually got some

bath crayons and we wrote our vision in the shower so every

day we saw the vision." God honors that. I talked about

giving yourself permission to dream. Stop thinking that it's

just for everybody else but you. God is saying he has more for

your life, that he can go beyond your wildest expectations, but

you have to give yourself that ability and that permission to

use your imagination, to think, to dream and to write. My dad

told me years ago, he said, "Any time you go into your prayer

time with the Lord always take a pen and a journal and listen for

God. Practice hearing the voice of God." That's how I started

just thinking and even just wondering "Is this God or is it

just myself?" A lot of times that's how you start, you think,

"Oh this can't be God for me to want to minister to the Dallas

Cowboy cheerleaders. That can't be God, that's got to just be

me." People have told me before, "Do you really think God would

want me to have my own dance studio? That's not spiritual."

You know what, God has called us to different assignments. He may

have put that dream, that desire in your heart and that's going

to be your ministry. You're going to get to minister to

those little kids or those adults as they learn dance.

Don't disregard things because you think it doesn't sound real

spiritual. God actually leads us by the desires of our heart.

Give yourself permission to dream. We talked about getting

clear on your dreams. Vague goals produce vague results.

Don't just say, "I'm believing for a car." You could get any

old clunker. You've got to be specific about what you're

believing God for. Take the time to get clear on it. I talked

about keeping the vision before your eyes. Out of sight, out of

mind. If you make a vision board or a vision book, you put it

somewhere in a closet that you never go into, a room that you

never visit, it's doubtful it's ever going to happen. You've got

to keep that vision alive by looking at it every day. Speak

to those dreams, that's how you give them life. You speak of non

existent things as if they already exist. Call those things

that be not as though they already are, right? What do you

do while you're waiting? You dwell, you invest in yourself.

That's what I started going. I started going online to

different ministers that I received from. I started reading

their books. I started listening to their audios. Back then that

was not a habit for me. I had to make myself want to read. I

remember I set a goal for myself to just read for 20 minutes a

day. I set the alarm on my phone and then I started making myself

read. If you do that for one month, that's ten hours of

investing in yourself, ten hours of personal growth. The more I

read, the more I grew, the more my faith grew and I began to

believe, "Why can't these dreams happen for me?" You've got to do

the same thing, invest in yourself. In fact, I want you to

get these resources on Dream it, Pin it, Live it, comes with the

audiobook so you can just listen to faith building teaching while

you're doing your dishes, while you're getting ready in the

morning, while you're driving to work. Get into that habit where

you look for opportunities to invest in yourself. You look for

opportunities to grow. Of course the workbook, this is going to

teach you how to set goals and how to get into that habit of

becoming a goal setter and a goal achiever. Here's the thing,

everything I just shared with you, that's great. Those are

steps to get you closer to your dreams, but there's one thing

that I haven't shared with you that I believe is one of the

vital keys to living your dreams, and that is you must sow

a seed. I have sown seed for every single dream that I've

seen come to pass in my life. It's just like that farmer. He

may really, really want basil, he's got a picture of basil, he

could put it on his dream board, he could look at it every day,

he could praise God for basil, but he's never going to have it

until he sows his seed. My dad has taught me, when you're

experiencing your greatest needs, sow your greatest seeds.

I believe when you sow a seed for your dream you strategically

put yourself in position to receive more from God. Here's

what I love about sowing seed. When you sow seed for your dream

you reap what you sow, you reap after you sow and you reap more

than you sow. That's a powerful principle from the word of God,

isn't it? You reap what you sow, you reap after you sow and you

reap more than you sow. I want to challenge you to do that. Let

me just share this with you real quick. You think about this as

just a golf club. Actually it's a little toy golf club. You put

a golf club in the hands of someone like Tiger Woods, and

instantly the value shoots up. All you added was commitment.

Somebody who has been swinging a club since he was five, 12, 18,

25, all you added was someone who was committed to their

dream. Well it's the same with this is just a pen, here's some

paper, but you put a pen and paper in the hands of someone

like Taylor Swift, instantly the value shoots up. Why? Someone

who's been crafting songs since she was five, playing guitar

since she was 12, she's one of the highest paid celebrities

under 30 years old, all you've added was commitment, someone

who's committed to live their dreams. Well, if you really

think about it, there's nothing special about this. This is just

a cork board with some pictures just printed off the internet

and some push pins, but you put this in the hands of someone

like me and instantly it becomes a GPS, it becomes a map for me

to live my dreams. All you added was commitment. I'm committed to

do this every single year. I'm committed to pray over these

dreams. I'm committed to speak to these dreams, to call things

that be not as though they are. I'm committed to sow seed for my

dreams. My dad says never just let an offering go by and just

throw money in it. Name your seed. Every time I see an

offering I name my seed for one of my dreams. All you added was

commitment. You've heard that phrase, they say it only takes

one diet to lose weight. Which one? The one you stick with,

they all work, just stick with one. That's just what happens

when you get committed to your dreams. That means you're

committed when you feel like it, you're committed when you don't

feel like it. I want to challenge you, make this year

the greatest year you've ever had in your life. Tell yourself,

"I'm not just going to watch everybody else live their dreams

while I sit on the sidelines and just wish things would change."

No, God is speaking to you. He's saying, come on, you can do

this. It doesn't take much to sit quietly and just listen for

God. Listen for those things that he's telling you to get

serious about. Write it down. Go online. Print out pictures of

what you're believing for. Put it somewhere prominent where

you're going to look at it and speak to it every day. I'm

telling you, you're going to be sending me testimonies real

soon, I believe it, of what God has done in your life. Like I

said before, we've received testimonies from people,

marriages being restored, opening up their restaurants. I

was going through a stack of testimonies yesterday and there

were three books in there from new authors who finally got

their books written. They were so proud to send me an actual

hard copy of the book. One lady said, "Terri, I've been

listening to you for a while and finally got serious about my

dream. Here's my new book." Then she said, "By the way, I'm

almost 80 years old." I was like I love that. It's never too late

to live your dream. Here's the thing, God may hold you

accountable for writing that book. He may hold you

accountable for starting that business or for whatever it is,

preaching that message. That's why you got to get serious about

your dreams. Let me tell you this story I heard. I love this

story. It was about a professional golfer who was

asked by the king of Saudi Arabia to come and teach him how

to play golf. This golfer, they sent a private jet, picked him

up, flew him to Saudi Arabia, he spent days with the king

teaching him how to play golf. At the end of the trip the king

wanted to bless this pro golfer for spending all this time with

him, so he said, "What can I give you to just say thank you

for coming and teaching me how to play golf?" The professional

golfer said, "No, you don't have to give me anything. It was just

an honor to come and teach you." The king insisted. He said, "No,

I have to give you something. Just tell me something." The pro

golfer thought about it and he said, "Well, I collect golf

clubs. I guess you could give me a golf club." The king said, "A

golf club it is." The pro golfer, he's flying back to

America. He said he's on the airplane just thinking, "What

kind of golf club is this going to look like? Is it going to be

like diamond studded or gold plated, after all he is the

king?" He said he got home and every day he's checking the

front door, looking for this golf club. It wasn't there. One

day he goes to the mailbox, he opens up this certified letter

and it says it's from Saudi Arabia. He opens it up and it

says, "You are now the owner of a 500 acre, 18 hole golf club

here in America." What am I saying? Kings think differently.

We think golf club, kings think golf club. Well, we serve the

King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I believe God is speaking

to you today and he's saying, "it's time to supersize your

thinking. It's time to expand your imagination." Think outside

the realm of possibility. Stop asking God for small things when

God is saying your dreams don't intimidate me. I love what Joyce

Meyer says. She says, "I'd rather ask God for everything

and get 50% than ask for nothing and get 100%." I believe God

wants you to expand your thinking. It's time to think

bigger than you've ever thought before. I want you to get these

resources, Dream it, Pin it, Live it. I believe God is going

to show you how to start thinking bigger than you've ever

thought before. You're also going to learn with our

workbook. I'm going to teach you how I learned how to set goals

the right way. I used to set the craziest goals but the most

common goals, you know lose weight, save money, get out of

debt, get closer to God, clean the house. Those types of goals

are a setup for failure. I hate to say that, but it's true.

They're too broad, they're too vague, they're hazy, they're

unclear. I'm going to teach you how to set goals the right way.

Vague goals produce vague results. It's time to get

specific, to get clear on your dreams and goals. Then we also

have the audiobook Dream it, Pin it, Live it. This is the entire

book in audiobook form. It comes with this package. I believe

this is going to get you more motivated than you've ever been

in your life to see your dreams fulfilled. I'll talk to you

about creating a vision board, what do you do once the board is

up, what do you do while you're waiting, who should see your

board. I talk to you about how to get focused. I've got stories

in here from Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Jim Carrey, Steven

Spielberg, you name it. The most successful people in the world

are clear on their dreams and goals. I believe it's time for

you to get that way about your life. Don't come to the end of

this year and say, "Wow, I don't even know what happened. I have

nothing to report. It was just a repeat of the year before." No,

I want you to come to the end of this year and say, "Lord, this

has been the most amazing year of my life." That can happen

when you learn how to succeed on purpose. I want you to get these

resources, Dream it, Pin it, Live it, make vision boards work

for you. Hey, you can get your whole family involved in making

a vision board. My family has a vision board. I've got stories

in here of people who've gotten their kids involved in it. We

get testimonies all the time of kids who are living their

dreams. I want to remind you today, don't look at all the

years you've lost, look at the years you've got left, and start

living the dreams that God has put in your heart. God is no

respecter of persons. I don't believe you're watching this by

accident or just a coincidence. Maybe a friend told you to turn

it on. I believe God is speaking to you today. He's saying it's

time for you to enlarge your thinking, to elevate your

thinking so he can elevate your life. I believe next year at

this time you won't be where you are today, but you're going to

say, "Wow. Look what God has done in my life." Amos 9:13

says, "Things will happen so fast your head

will swim." That's my prayer for you today. I

want to thank you for watching us. Be sure to

get these resources and send us pictures, send us

testimonies of what God is doing in your life. Follow us on

Instagram, Facebook and Twitter so I can keep you motivated to

live your dreams. I look forward to hearing from

you. Thank you so much for watching.
