Well I think that Colombian women is very interesting

very beautiful

Foreigners come here to meet the most beautiful women in the world

Well, it is a pleasure to know about different nationalities

It is a pleasure to know about different countries

Well, it is interesting here in Colombia

Thank you very much

Your name is?

Ivan

Ivan, What do you think?

I think that Colombian women are very interesting because they really are, let's say, very dinamic women

They try to approach to people that are from different nationalities

And they have a way to catch their attention

And because of their latin blood

They tend to (...)

How to explain it?

to (...) to (...)

How to say it?

I don't know. hehe

Oh! To support (...) and try to be really open to everyone.

And that is what people from other countries find to be the most attractive

Because they know how to approach people

And they try to show foreigners the county and what it really is

That's what I think

Those are stereotypes that have been created in other countries

That Colombian wome are "easy'

Or that all they want or search is money

and it is not actually like that

¿Por qué los turcos cambiaron de alfabeto? | Türkler neden aldabelerini değiştirdiler - Duration: 6:03.

Let me tell you how a langauge that lasted for centuries could be erased in about 20 years.

And how Turks changed their alphabet from one day to the next.

Seriously, can you imagine yourself changing your alphabet to Arabic, Greek, Hebrew...right now?

If you feel it's nearly impossible, stay and watch this video.

Probably the most important reform carried out by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk,

(The first president of the Turkish Republic after the fall of the Ottoman Empire)

...was related to the language.

Let's see:

During Ottoman Empire, more or less 10%of population was literate.

They were speaking Ottoman Turkish.

It was written with Arabic Alphabet and it was artificial, refined and poetical.

But it was also very mixed: It included words from Arabic, Persian and Turkish.

Although Arabic, Persian or Turkish speakers could understand it easily.

Unlike these 3 languages, it was not spoken en masse.

It was only spoken in palace and in high society circles.

The common people spoke another Turkish, a purer one. It was very different.

But it was also considered as an ordinary, rude language by the intellectuals.

So basically, what is the scenario?

Rulers and ruled ones didn't speak the same language.

Ottoman Turkish was really beautiful, but not practical at all for a literacy campaign.

When the Ottoman Empire fell in 1922,

80% out of the 15 millions living in Turkey didn't know how to read/write.

It was such a serious problem.

Once the Turkish Republic was formed, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk started a language reform.

The alphabet came first.

Until the 3rd of November 1928, the Arabic Alphabet was used.

After that, Latin alphabet started to be used, just like we do.

We can see in this picture how Ataturk tries to show the new alphabet to people in one of his public appearence.

The Society of Turkish Language was created 4 years later, more or less, in 1932.

Their objective was a deeper language reform.

In case changing the alphabet was not deep enough.

The target was changing the foreign words, Arabic and Persian, for other pure Turkish words, with same meaning.

By the way, those three languages belong to different language families.

Arabic is a Semitic language. Persian is Indoeuropean. And Turkish is Altaic.

They don't share any roots. This fact can help us to understand how complex the Ottoman Turkish was.

Anyway. The point is that a lot of foreign words were removed,

and new words were introduced, words with Turkish origins and also old words from Turkic languages that hadn't been used for centuries.

Consequences?

The main one is that the literacy improved a lot in Turkey.

In very few years, the population passed from 10% to 80% of literate people.

Maybe you are wondering how this proccess was made. Was it hard?

Actually, this change was favoured by the huge amount of people who didn't know how to read or write.

The intellectuals in Ottoman Empire became illiterate with this new alphabet.

Obviously there was a language gap between generations.

It already happens in every country: Young people use words that adults not always understand.

Imagine the situation in Turkey, with such a change.

That's how people who were born before 1940 tended to use more Arabic, Persian words...

...Meanwhile the new generations were using Turkish words.

Ironically, Atatürk was talking in Ottoman style (he was born in 1881)

But don't tell me it's not curious that his speaches need to be translated into modern Turkish.

The information I'm giving you about this ends here. But if you are interested, research more about it.

Let me know what you think about this in the comments. Was it necessary?

How would have you lived all this period if you had been in Turkey?

I'm going to read every comment, just like always.

See you in the next video!

MB.iO Café 2017 with Sabine Scheunert & Sascha Pallenberg | ONETalk - Duration: 3:07.

Good morning Sabine.

Good morning Sascha!

It must be early in the morning in Germany?

Yes, it's actually 8 a.m. here in Stuttgart.

I'm in Seoul, Korea… but what interests me: where are you? I've never seen this place before.

Hold on a second, I'll just show you around.

Oh wow!

Check this out: I'm in the Mercedes-Benz.io Café.

Wow, that looks amazing. Fantastic!

It's our brand-new location. We just opened it recently – actually a couple of days ago.

So this is the innovation hub for Stuttgart?

It looks amazing! What are you guys working on over there?

Primarily the teams are working on OneWeb.

But also on our digital commerce platform.

So, whatever we're doing in terms of e-commerce, it's produced here from our innovation hub.

But our teams are also working on our latest products such as the EQ Ready app and the Ask Mercedes app that we recently launched at Web Summit this year.

And it doesn't stop there, we still have three new products.

Sounds really interesting.

After you told me about what is going on in Berlin and Lisbon and what you are doing over there,

I would of course love to know more about what is happening in Stuttgart.

So, tell me how many people are actually working in our Stuttgart hub?

We have hundreds of talented people currently working here on our latest products.

And they range from product owners, designers, strategists, community- and content managers,

but also we have experts in business development, UX/UI, programming, big data analytics, cloud computing, java development…

So many more.

But what is most important:

it's one of our biggest swarm teams that we currently have here at Daimler.

So, hundreds of people from different areas of responsibility from either marketing,

sales and after sales are working collaboratively on the newest and latest digital products.

Sounds super exciting!

I cannot wait to see what kind of mobility services you guys are going to release from all the Daimler innovation hubs.

You definitely have a chance to show me during the CES in January when we can meet again in Las Vegas.

Until then Sabine, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thank you so much Sascha. Happy Holidays for you as well.

I'm looking forward seeing you in Las Vegas next year.

So, Merry Christmas and thank you again.

Thanks! Bye for now.

Jeep Wrangler RedRock 4x4 Stubby Front Bumper w/ Stinger Bar (2007-2018 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 4:19.

The Redrock 4X4 Stubby Front Bumper with Stinger and Winch Mount is for those of you that have

a 2007 and up JK.

They are looking to add a Stubby Front Bumper to the right clearance for a 37-inch tire

and also to add a lot of additional off-road features.

This bumper is not only gonna add all those features, but is also going to drastically

change the look of your Jeep.

This is still going to be a very easy to install bumper.

Definitely a one out of three wrench installation, only about an hour or so to get this bolted

up.

But we'll talk more about that install in just a second.

Just like I said, the main reason for a Stubby Front Bumper is that additional tire clearance,

but if you're just looking for an aesthetic change, or the features that this bumper has,

this is also going to be a really good option for you.

Redrock 4X4 is known for making a high-quality product at a lower cost than some of the other

competition out there, so you're gonna be able to get a lot of features for a pretty

fair price.

As far as contraction, this is going to be 5/32 inch of steel, which is going to be strong,

will help to keep weight down a little bit from some of those 3/16 bumpers that are out

there.

The tube up here is going to be two-inch, tubing is going to be a .12 in the wall thickness,

so it's gonna be nice, strong stuff here.

Now, this is a Stinger Bumper, and the initial purpose for the Stinger part here was that

if you're doing some really hardcore wheeling, you're coming down off of a very steep obstacle

and the Jeep wants to come forward on you, the Stinger hits the ground and pushes you

to one side or the other, keeping you on the tires.

Or in the event of a rollover, the Stinger was designed to be tall enough to keep any

weight, and therefore damage off of the radiator and the radiator support.

This here is gonna be a little bit of a different Stinger.

This is more of an aesthetic Stinger.

This does have a gusset here so it is going to have some strength to it.

But in all reality, this is probably going to be something that a lot of you installed

because you like the look and not so much you need it for the function, and that's perfectly

okay as bumpers are also going to have some other features that I like.

It has a 12,000 pound Winch Plate over the end to it here, this is going to be your Fairly

Mount. You're also going to have two recovery points, and this is also going to come with

the D-Rings for those D-Ring Mounts.

Now, D-Rings aren't crazy expensive.

It's just really nice that they included them in the box for you so you don't have to make

yourself a purchase.

Everything comes right here for you.

These holes in the bottom here aren't necessarily for lights or anything like that, this is

more for aesthetics.

It'll help to keep the weight down a little bit as well, but these are aesthetics.

This is not designed to mount your factory fog lights in it.

Now, Redrock does have a Stubby Front Bumper with fog light mounts.

If you want that, we have that option as well, but these are going to be more of an aesthetic

thing than anything else.

So, this bumper is going to have a couple of holes up on the top here that you can mount

a couple of light pods if you choose to, but there aren't going to be any specific light

mount in tabs, or again, any spots for falling.

But overall, I do think this adds a good bit of function, a nice bit of style to your Jeep.

If you're looking for a Stubby Front Bumper, I think this is gonna be a good choice.

So to get this installed is a one out of three wrench installation, only about an hour or

so for the whole process.

The first step is removing your factory front bumper.

In order to do that, you'll remove your splash shield and your frame cover.

You'll also unplug the fog lights from the factory bumper.

Go ahead and unbolt it and then just give it a pull to remove it from the Jeep.

Once it's removed, you simply set your new bumper over the top of the frame horns.

Go ahead and bolt it down with all the included hardware.

And then if you are going to be installing a Winch, you can go ahead and do that.

Now, you can also flip-flop the steps and install the Winch before you put the bumper

on your Jeep.

That's personally the way I like to do it because it makes the Winch mounting hardware

a lot easier to get to.

Although, once you have the Winch mounted on to the bumper, this is a big, heavy thing

to be lifting and to place on the Jeep, so you'll probably wanna have an extra set of

hands.

This bumper will run you right around $400, and I think that's gonna be a pretty good

deal for what you're getting.

There are gonna be some Stubby Bumpers out there that are more expensive than this one

and also some that are gonna be less expensive.

I think that again, for the quality and for the features that you're getting, this is

a very fair price.

So if you're looking for a Stubby Front Bumper to install on your JK, I definitely recommend

taking a look at this option from Redrock 4X4, and you can find it right here at ExtremeTerrain.com.
