- Practice self-denial.
This is the eternal dynamic that surrounds us all
on the evolutionary level in which we find ourselves.
We are a spirit dwelling in a body;
the body influences the soul and the soul,
it often feels captive to the body.
As we are spirits who do not hold a
grandiose evolution, we have preserved in the past
the conquests made in the other realms,
but we have not advanced sufficiently to surpass them
in a sovereign way, not infrequently that
we are dominated by our instincts,
our instincts archaic, we experience
degrading passions, we fall into manifestations,
sometimes vicious, dominated by a corporeal
dynamic that has its appeals,
while the physical mortar that touches
our ancient memories ...
To have primacy over these, without disregarding them,
because there is nothing sin and holy,
everything is holy in the measure that is in its right time,
but to give an opportunity so that the soul can make
flights surpassing the instincts so that it is not
fixed in them; to give flights so that the passions are
enlightening passions and not just exorbitant passions
that make us unbalanced, that make us sick ...
Establishing, therefore, an investment so that
the soul overcomes the corporeal nature
is the great challenge for all of us.
That is why it is to practice self-denial, which is devotion,
renunciation, sacrifice ... These words are taken
as bad because it seems that
people are doing against us.. It is not.
If devotion, it is well framed as
a manifestation of the soul, it
gratifies; if it is a sacrifice, It comes from within
in detriment of the ego or overlapping
the ego, it is sacral, it is delicious, it is tasty,
it is something that brings us to another level of pleasure,
which is not the strictly physical pleasure that soon passes
like fireworks; are pleasures that last longer,
pleasures that lead us to better complements,
pleasures that bring us to other instances
of communion with nature and divinity.
To be handcuffed, for example, to sexual pleasure,
strictly sensorineural, is very impoverishing;
but overcoming these
to have a relationship of affective-sexual
nature, in which we can no longer
differentiate pleasure from sex, from the pleasure of the ecstasy
of the encounter, is differentiated, is already another instance,
is already another platform.
So the invitation is to make a great
move toward altruism, overcoming
selfishness; of the soul that
surpasses the body; of the aesthetic-moral values that
overlap with the instincts, the primary drives ...
Thus, we will be able to
place ourselves in a position of erection, in a position
of fullness, of completeness, abandoning
more primitive spheres in order to be able to experience
the ecstasy.
And so let us invest more in overcoming
our animality so that our spirituality
can flourish, enabling us to discover that life
has other flavors, other transcendent pleasures,
other colorful pleasures, and it is far more fascinating
than only when experienced from a strictly
animal perspective.
The spiritual dimension, it is the color of creation,
a step forward.
