so today I'm gonna show you how can you change your settings
background off your android nougatt or Android oreo how can you theme your
settings background to white to black or whatever the color you want in by default
it's it's in the white but in some devices it's also in the black color so
if you want to theme your settings backgrounds with the whatever color you
want then stick to the video I will show you from here so without wasting any
time let's get started
okay guys here we are first you have to decompile your
android nougat android settings.apk so here i already decompiled my
settings . APK so first you have to go to the resource folder go to the
values it is almost the same as i already done before in the during
theming of lollipop roms or KitKat roms it is almost the same but here the
source are connected to the various activities so first you have to go to
the colors.xml you have to open it notepad+ as you know
so here you have to find card background
so let's find it
okay this one is card background so we need only this part
okay right this is the card background oh yeah now change it to the whatever
color you want like I want this let's change it to the black color so you know
the hex of black save this XML okay it will color the internal part of that
tile not fully tile now again go to the style again you have to find the theme
dot setting base so here we need to add the code Android background
again add the color on the like I am using the black color here
okay now we have done but now we also need to change the text colors so
for text colors again we need to add item
so here this is the color of your dashboard of your settings.apk your
the text color of the dashboard so as I'm using the black background I need a
white text
okay now my text is white and background is black
now go to the layout go to open all the layout having the name dashboard
okay here go to dashboard tile here in image view add Android background
here we add background the icons now we'll take the black color now here you
have to go to the Dashboard container the when you swipe the settings you will get
the extra settings that is in card so to change the cardbg you have to add
code here
okay here we add dashboard container if you want to change the header you can add
here the space between it will automatically connected to the card
background so you don't need to change it so when we are done here now again go
back to your style here we added the primary color now we have to add this
secondary color
now Secondary colors should be different so I'm using red color here
so this is it guys now when you compile your compiled your settings or apk and
you replace your settings with the default then you will see what changes
we done here and you will able to change your white settings to black or black to
