Hi I'm Maurice Kok author of the book
the journey of an ascended master and in
this video I'm going to tell you about
how to meditate for beginners in just
three simple steps and in the end of the
film I'm going to give you a free gift
from me to you so stay tuned before you
get into the real meditation make sure
you are not disturbed your set yourself
a safe space when you can sit and open
yourself fully and just be there for a
while don't limit yourself in time and
tell people who are around in the house
or where I'm sitting right now that you
need some time for yourself that you
want to have the space and that you
don't want to be disturb you can also
put some music on or listen to the waves
or whatever makes your space even
more safe after you have prepared your
safe space for the meditation the first
step is to sit comfortable or take a
position it's comfortable for you you
can sit down like I'm doing you can hold
your hand like this or like this but the
main reason is that you're getting
comfortable that your shoulders are not
tight that your back is straight and
that you can fully relax
you also can lay down but I experienced
from my own experiences that when I'm
going to lay down especially in the
beginning of meditation when I just
started is that I fall asleep and you
want to experience meditation so you
don't want to fall asleep the
first times of meditation
so make yourself comfortable put a
position that you don't fall asleep so
the second step is to take a few deep
breath and lose all the tensions in your
body so by taking a deep and conscious
breath I mean with it you're breathing
through your nose all the way down to
your lower part of your belly and let
your belly rise fully you have to the
first time you meditate and you have to
force this the most of people so you
just and out through your mouth you just
force that you're getting your belly out
because you have to release all the
tensions in your body so you have to
take fully deep breath so after you've
took a several deep breaths you can feel
that your body is getting to relax a
little bit and when you are breathing
you hold your position you don't want to
move so much like I do and after you
took a several deep breath
you want to take breathing that for you
is in ease and grace without force you
just going to breathe if it's really
high or low and your body doesn't really
matter you just have to breathe and ease
the third step of this guidance for the
meditation
is that you want to release the tensions
in your mind
you already release the tensions in your
body with a few deep breath and by
releasing this tensions in your head
you just let your thoughts be in when I
start to meditate I was forcing my
thoughts I was I was fighting it I want
to quiet my head but your thoughts can
be there you can listen to it or you can
distract yourself by listen to the sea or
the waves or to the wind or the birds
around you what a music you put on but
the main reason I tell you is that you
don't force your thoughts don't fight
them just let them be there because you
don't have to listen to it you can
listen to see and you breathe you just
breathe and focus on something else
any thoughts will disappear or maybe not
but the main reason is that you want to
get into the state of meditation and the
thoughts can be there if you're going to
meditate and after a while you will
discover that they are suddenly gone but
especially when you begin with
meditation just relaxing your body and
be in the state of ease with thoughts or
without thoughts it's no problem there
is no big deal you just have to find
your own way
and the last step is when you'll reach
the state of meditation when you reach
that ease and grace in your body you
just want to continue this because it's
not about reaching a goal it's just
being in a state of be and you just
want to sit there for a while as long as
feels good just listen be close your
eyes we feel feel your body your hands
your energies feel the surroundings
smell it just be here and this is it
and I want to say you from my own
experience that I was trying to find a
good way to meditate or the only way but
there isn't an only way there's only
your way and you have to find your own
you have to find your way what's working
for you what feels great what feels
good and how you can get in a state of
ease and peace and relaxation try this
all out breathe and do it just show up
do it a couple of times and I would love
to hear from you what your experience
