Waching daily May 12 2017

CARL REINER: Every morning, I pick up my newspaper,

get the obituary section, and see if I'm listed.

If I'm not, I'll have my breakfast.

I'm in my 90s and I have friends who are in they're 90s.

And it's not just that they reached a certain number,

they're thriving. Was it luck or genes? Modern medicine?

Why are so many people living such active lives

until their 90s?

People ask me where I get my vitality and to tell you

the truth, I haven't gotten a clue.

I'm faking vitality. He's got vitality.

NORMAN LEAR: The fact that I can touch my toes

shouldn't be so amazing to people.

IDA KEELING: At the age of 67, I started running.

Now, I'm chasing myself.

There's nobody to compete with.

DICK VAN DYKE: At 30, I exercised to look good.

In my 50s, I exercised to stay fit.

And in my 90s, it's just gonna be out of defiance.

STAN LEE: Being old is like a whole new adventure.

You can't describe it to young people.

(suspenseful music)

(man screaming)

- [Narrator] The last reported Sunny killing was in 2015

in the northern Iowa town of Battendorf.

(guitar music)

- The crazy thing is, they're still out there.

- Whatever, it's just an urban legend

they tell kids so they don't do

anything crazy on April fools.

- No, my parents actually told me it was real.

- Well, if I was that guy,

I would've just killed them all.

It's why you carry a gun on you, guys.

- Dude, what are you talking about, you don't own a gun.

- Yeah, guns are super lame anyway.

- No, you're right, yeah. (scoffs)

Guns are lame.

Good thing, though, I don't need a gun to protect you.

- Ew, no.

- [Aaron] So, Truth or Dare, guys?

- Ooh, ooh, can I go first, can I go first?

- That's so lame, that's so lame.

- No, let's do it.

- Okay, I'll go first.

Taylor.

Truth or dare? - Dare.

I dare you to do seven minutes

of heaven with me. - Ooh!

- You don't have to do that.

- No, it's fine, I want to, I swear.

- Okay.

(calm music)

Whoa, you're pretty aggressive.

You know I actually like you, I'm not just trying to be--

- Stop lying, okay, just shut up.

- Ah. - Oh, sorry.

- Try again.

- This game sucks.

(creepy music)

(Aaron screaming)

- He's dead.

- That's not even funny.

- I think it is.

- [Boy In Black T-Shirt] Aaron, this isn't cool, man.

(creepy music)

- [Boy In Striped T-Shirt] He's dead, he's really dead!

Oh, god!

- Dude, what is going on? - No idea!

- Oh, shit, Jessa!

Oh my god, dude, we gotta fucking go, we gotta go!

Fuck, shit, dude, we need to get the fuck out of here,

Taylor has lost her mind!

(creepy music)

What the fuck?

(screaming)

(creepy music)

Come on, Taylor, you don't have to do this.

- Oh, I know, it's just so much fucking fun though!

It just sucks, 'cause you were kind of cute.

I feel bad, too, you were like

the only cool one, and you're so nice to me.

- I'm still the cool one.

- What if you joined us?

We're like a family, people say it's a cult,

but it's more of a family.

We could have so much fun together.

Plus, I know you like me.

- I do, I really do like you.

- I know you do.

- Taylor, we gotta go get the cops,

we can fix this, this will be fine.

- What a bummer! (knife plunging into stomach)

(creepy music)

- [Blond Man] Taylor, I told you, strangle, don't stab.

You never listen.

- Stabbing's so much fun though.

- [Blond Man] Looks like we are gonna

need a lot more bleach.

- I did good though, right?

- You did good, you're a real part of the family now.

- You know what?

I think we should do a family portrait.

- Yes.

(creepy music)

Make Your Car Shine More Than Others! -ThunderBird - E-ZYME & Speed Wipe - Chemical Guys Car Care - Duration: 6:39.

What's up guys welcome back to the Detail Garage.

Today we've got a 1957 Ford Thunderbird in the shop.

It has been sitting in my buddies shop for about the past six months collecting dust.

So starting with a wash using EcoSmart to pick up any debris without scratching while

leaving behind a layer of wax.

To enhance that an also protect it we're going to add a coat of E-ZYME.

This is basically a pure carnauba wax that adds shine, depth and a protective layer that

repels stains.

As I've said we already cleaned it and you can hear the paint is nice and smooth, we

gave it a light clay bar treatment because although this car sits inside it can still

pick up dirt and debris.

So after giving it a clay bar service it will make it easier for new coatings to bond and

last longer.

Opening up our pot and using one of our red UFO Applicators we'll melt some wax on to

the pad.

This is going to help me spread a fine, even layer over the hood and rest of the vehicle.

Starting off by blotching it out and then working it back and forth in a uniform coat.

This will result in shine and coat.

You can use E-ZYME on any color car whether it be light colors or dark, you can use it

on glass and chrome which you can see this car is covered in.

So we're going to repeat this process over the entire vehicle.

After waiting about fifteen minutes, E-ZYME has cured to the Thunderbird and I applied

a very thin coat so it'll buff off easily which is using less product and that means

it saves time and money.

To take it off I'm using our 2 Faced Microfiber Towel which is a very soft high plush pile

towel that safely removes any kind of polish, wax, sealants, etc. without smearing or scratching.

Also it has a silk-banded edge which prevents installing new swirls or scratches.

We'll place it on the paintwork and work back and forth and it comes off nice and easy while

leaving behind a super slick high shine.

You guys may be wondering why we're outside.

We know that not everyone has the privilege of working in a Detail Garage or a garage

that has all the amenities.

So we wanted to show you guys that you don't necessarily need a garage as long as you aren't

in direct sunlight obviously, we've waited for the sun to start coming down and it is

pretty cool out today.

You can apply any kind of wax, glaze, sealants, quick detail sprays and wash your car outside

as long as you have the temperature of the vehicle under control and you're not in direct sunlight.

Lets finish buffing this off and as a last step we're going to hit it with Speed Wipe

just to pick up any residues while enhancing that shine.

Like I had said you can use E-ZYME on metalwork, this has a lot of chrome and stainless steel

which we want to protect to prevent oxidation and staining.

So by applying a layer of wax not only adds shine but it is a layer of protection which

is going to help make this car last as long as it can.

So we're just about ready to wrap up the exterior detail on this Thunderbird.

Using EcoSmart we picked up all that loose dirt and debris without scratching while leaving

behind a fine layer of wax but to enhance and protect it we added a layer of E-ZYME

which is a pure carnauba wax to give it the ultimate shine and protection.

Now as a last touch we're going to wipe it down with Speed Wipe which is a quick detail

spray that is misted directly on to the surface and using your favorite clean microfiber towel

just buff it off.

Since this towel is brand new we'll tear off the tag so we aren't adding new scratches

or swirls.

Now wiping in one direction we can safely pick up all the product.

Quick detail sprays are great for when you pull your car out of the garage or if you

are heading to a show, maybe you just went for a cruise and you have that light layer

of dust and debris on there so rather than washing the vehicle just hit it with a quick

detail spray for a quick shine.

If you guys want to learn more about these products check them out on our website ChemicalGuys.com.

If you like this car or this video be sure to give it a thumbs up and we'll see you guys

next time right here in the Detail Garage.

Not a Booktube Newbie Tag - Duration: 9:22.

Hi everyone. I'm Rincey and this is Rincey Reads.

So this week I celebrated

my five year booktube-sary, booktube

anniversary. However you want to say it.

It's kind of insane to think about.

I can't believe I've been doing this for

five years. So in honor of that I thought

I would do the not a booktube newbie tag.

I believe that what it's called. I was tagged

by Nezzle. I will have a link to her

video down below as well as to the

creators video as always. I only do tags

like once a year so this might be it

just cause I'm bad at doing them. But it felt

like you know an appropriate one to do

on my five-year anniversary because I'm

definitely not a booktube newbie anymore.

So question number one is how old is

your channel? And obviously I just said

it's five years old.

Question number two is what are your

favorite videos to make and that is

definitely like book reviews or book

discussions. The reason why I started a

booktube channel, well, one of many

reasons why I started a booktube

channel is because i wanted to talk about

books with people. So I love doing book

reviews even though they aren't

necessarily the most popular ones

because I feel like the discussion on

those videos are always the best ones.

I always love like discussions as well

again because the comments are always so

strong on those. So yeah, probably

discussions and book reviews are

definitely my top two. Question number

three is what is one piece of advice you

would give to someone wanting to join

booktube. I'm going to cheat and give 3

pieces of advice. First one is to just do it.

I know that's not a very helpful

piece of advice but I feel like it's the

most practical. I feel like I talk to a

lot of people who say that they're like

scared of doing booktube, they don't

think they're going to be very good at

it, etc. etc. One, there's no reason to be

afraid because you can always make the

videos and if no one sees them you know

you have nothing to be embarrassed about.

But honestly the community is super

welcoming and open and we are very much

aware of the fact that you know not

everyone has like the best quality

camera or the best lighting setup or

anything like that. So I feel like we're

really forgiving of things that you

might not necessarily be forgiven for in

other communities. So as long as you are

like passionate and enthusiastic about

books, I feel like you'll be accepted

into the community. The other two pieces

of advice that I would give that are

more like practical pieces of advice are

just make sure that you're heard in your

videos. I feel like a lot of people when

they're first starting off -- this was

definitely true of me -- is like you talk

kind of quietly because you might be in

a house or like an apartment or something

something

with other people so that's looks

slightly awkward when you are like

yourself sort of. If you're talking a little

yourself sort of if you're talking will

quietly maybe try to go into editing and

because if you can't hear you, it's kind of

useless. The other thing is just to make

useless the other thing is just to make

lighting. Again, it doesn't have to be

anything professional just be like near

anything professional just be like me or

a window or just make sure there's lamps

you can be seen. Because I mean YouTube

you can be seen because I mean YouTube

are two pretty big things. But I think

that as long as it's halfway decent, it

that as long as it's halfway decent it

doesn't even have to be a great camera

just be relatively well lit and be heard

community. Question number four is since

community question number four is since

unforeseen challenges? Which I thought

unforeseen challenges which I thought

this question was really funny because

isn't every challenge an unforseen

in something new? But yeah, there are a

lot of things I had to figure out. When I

lot of things I had to figure out when I

started my channel obviously it was in

until it was too late. Like once it

until it was too late like once it

started getting into the winter months

natural light anymore. I had to figure

natural light anymore I had to figure

out how to properly light myself and

then eventually I learned how to color

wasn't extremely yellow. Those early

videos are real yellow. Yeah things like

videos are really young yeah things like

sound I didn't realize how much I would

be heard. It wasn't until recently

be heard there wasn't until recently

though they started using like an

make my sound quality better. And the

make my sound quality better and the

going to want to read all of the things.

Because everyone's always talking about

because everyone's always talking about

them so passionately and you're like oh man

them so passionately you're like oh man

I definitely want to read that book and

then you have a TBR pile that's like 500

books long because you are just out

always talking about. So learning how to

always talking about so learning how to

control and curb that instinct to just

is talking about and to show some

restraint and what I'm reading

and trying out. And also sort of like

and trying out and also sort of like

having some sort of discernment in terms

of like knowing my own tastes and

knowing other people's tastes so that

way I will know whether or not that's a

book I will actually like or whether

it's a book that I only want to pick up

because of the hype. Question number

five is what is your favorite book or

series that you read because of

booktube? And this is a little bit difficult

to answer because I feel like so much of

my reading is now influenced by booktube

it's hard to distinguish ones that I

would have not read if it wasn't for booktube.

These are books that I feel like I

didn't really hear about anywhere else

except on booktube and I love them. So

the three that I have two of them are

from jenny from adultishbooks and one of

them I think was from Brooke Lee. The first

one is The Enchanted by Rene Denfeld.

I still don't hear people talking about

this one as much as I think it deserves

to be talked about. That is a five-star

book for me and I am so grateful that I

read it. The second one is Just Mercy

by Bryan Stevenson. That's one where it's

a little bit borderline like I feel like

now I'm aware of that book because Jenny

as well as other people sort of reading that

book and recommending it and also Jenny

sort of like harasses everyone into

reading that book. But then after that

point I felt like I started hearing

about it other places so that's one that's

sort of borderline for me of I might

have picked it up even if I wasn't on

booktube. The third one is The Unseen

World by Liz Moore. And I know for a fact

that I never would have heard of this

book or picked this one up if it wasn't

for booktube. And I feel like now I'm

recommending it to people and I'm

starting to see it sort of like spread

out into the world a little bit more.

Number six is what is your favorite

aspect of booktube? And it's definitely the

people. I mean, I don't know how you

answer this question and not say the

people. This community is amazing. Even

though there is some like conflicts and

"drama" on occasion, like I feel like

overall, you can find your people here.

Like you can find other people here who

like similar things that you do, who read

similarly than you do, and having those

discussions and just having people to

share these experiences with. Like few

things makes me happier than reading a

book and then talking about it on camera

and then having you guys sort of talk

back at me or comment at me with your

own reactions, whether or not you agreed

with me or not. Like I love hearing

feedback in the sense of just even a

differing opinion like I love that

conversation that we get to have here in

this community. There's some people who

deal with trolls and things like that

but I feel like I've had to deal with so

few trolls. I like to say it's because

I'm real boring and so none of the

trolls know what to do with me because

they do have no interest in dealing with

my channel. Like I can count on one hand the number

like mean or rude comments I've done in

the five years that I've been on YouTube,

which is kind of unheard of for YouTube.

So yeah honestly like the community

that's here on my channel and on

booktube in general is amazing and it's

definitely the thing that keeps me keep

making videos. Number seven is want to

spread the booktube love? Give a newbie a

shout out. So this is where I admit that

I haven't been exploring booktube as

much as I used to. I blame this

completely on just like life situations

and you know the new job has me watching

less YouTube than I used to.

So unfortunately I don't have a long list

of recommendations. Like I feel like I

have like six videos saved on YouTube

that are just like shoutout videos

because I need to have time to sit down

and watch them so I can discover new

people but I haven't yet. So I'm really

bad at this. But I do have one

recommendation, it's insert literary pun.

I believe she's in making videos for

around a year or maybe a little bit less

than a year. She doesn't have very many

subscribers I mean at least relative to

me. I believe she has over a thousand but

I don't know if she's even over 2,000

yet. But I think she makes absolutely

fantastic book reviews. She is so smart

and her reviews are so well thought-out

and so well put together. I love them so

much. And I think that if you like

literary fiction, she also reads I

believe a little bit of nonfiction as

well, she is definitely a channel worth

checking out. She is just top notch when

it comes to her reviews. It's fantastic.

And then question number 8 is who do you

tag? and as always since I'm always the

last person to do tags because I just

never do tags, I tag everyone. If you want

to make this video, consider yourself

tagged because I have no idea who has

and hasn't done this yet. So yeah, that's

everything that I have for this video. Since

it is my 5 year anniversary I do want to

be a little bit sappy and just say thank

you to everyone who has watched and

subscribed and commented and liked or

lurked or whatever it is that you are

doing. Whether you've been here all 5

years or you just found me today, just

thank you so much for the support and

just everything. Like honestly joining

booktube was an actual life-changing

event for me. And, oh. Hoo.

Mmm. I'm grateful for all of you guys. Oh man.

I wasn't expecting that. All right so that's a

cue to wrap it up. So yeah that's all I

have for now and thanks for watching.

Experiences In Dreams & In The Astral Plane - Duration: 18:48.

Experiences In Dreams & In The Astral Plane

By consciousreminder

Out-of-body experiences are real, in them the non-physical parts of us leave the physical

body and the third dimension and go to a different dimension. This happens in dreams, in astral

projection, in near-death experiences, and at death.

In an OBE we usually go to the fifth dimension, to whats commonly called the astral plane,

but its possible to be in higher or lower planes. Everything that exists here also exists

in the fifth dimension, which is why its sometimes referred to as the copy world.

Dreams

A dream is an out-of-body experience, but one in which there is no self-awareness, they

usually happen in the astral plane, which means we are in the astral plane when we are

dreaming, but are unaware of it.

In dreams the perception of whats actually there is usually covered or distorted by the

projections of the subconscious, which means that we dont see whats there and dont

question where we are and so theres no awareness of being out of the body.

Astral Projection

When we consciously split from the physical body and we know weve come out of it, its

called astral projection. If it is due to life threatening illness, its called a

near-death experience. There are many different exercises to astral project with and they

usually take some patience to learn.

Astral Travel

Astral Travel is travelling in the fifth dimension while consciously having an out-of-body experience.

There are fewer laws in the fifth dimension and so we are able to fly and travel great

distances quickly, in some cases virtually instantaneously.

Lucid Dreams

When we know were in a dream, its called lucid dreaming, its another kind of out-of-body

experience, we can be in exactly the same place in the same dimension by having a lucid

dream as we can when astral projecting. A dream in which we dont know we are dreaming

is just an ordinary dream.

Normal Dreaming

Dreams happen when the body is asleep because the mind dreams here in the physical world

while the body is awake. In dreams the images in the mind, in the subconscious, merge with

and obliterate the perceptions from the astral senses, in a similar way that in daily life

the subconscious causes the external world to be perceived with the colorations of thoughts,

feelings, images and emotions, in other words we daydream or get lost in thoughts.

When going to sleep at night, the body is left behind and the state of daydreaming doesnt

really stop. But being without a body, there is no three-dimensional world to bring the

psyche back to reality, and so existence becomes the daydream with consciousness submerged

in thoughts, feelings, images, and emotions.

What is actually real in the astral plane can sometimes be seen in dreams and thats

how there are teachings, experiences of real places and premonitions. Normally however,

the subconscious interferes and prevents the perception of reality. The way to change this

is to be more self-aware in daily life. The less in daydreams here more aware we are in

dreams; its a simple equation. Daydreams go on almost constantly and they are the sleep

of perception.

Q. What is the astral plane and how is it different from the physical world?

The astral plane is another dimension of this life. Its one of two planes of the fifth

dimension; the other is higher and is called the mental plane. The astral world is of the

emotions; the mental is of mind. The fourth dimension is time. The fifth dimension is

beyond timeits eternity.

Everything that we see here has its counterpart there. Its the same world, its just

another dimension of this one, and thats why it looks like this.

When things are projected from the subconscious, whats experienced is a self-created world.

The astral plane may often look very different from the physical world, but thats usually

because the subconscious is interfering or its seen as dreams. The objective astral

plane looks just like this dimension.

It has different laws and different beings inhabit it. The fifth dimension serves its

purpose for life and awakening, just as the three-dimensional one does.

Can you meet others that you know in your physical life: friends, family, etc. in the

astral plane, or while youre having a lucid dream, or an out-of-body experience?

Yes, you can have an out-of-body experience and meet someone over there, and when you

come back to your body, you can talk about the experience, and as long as they were self-aware

there, itll be a shared experience between you.

If someone isnt aware of being there, but is dreaming, then theyll see you through

the subconscious projections of their mind. So for example, if theyre dreaming about

being in a football stadium and you go and see them, they may not see you, or, they may

just see you in a football stadium in a dream, because theyre only able to grasp bits

of what actually happens.

So, it depends on the level of awareness we have at the time of the dream as to how much

were able to see of someone who projects and meets us while out of the body.

Why would someone want to investigate things in the astral plane?

Because we can get information over there that we cant get here. For example, you

can find out about death in a way which is impossible to do here. Here you just see a

physical body, but there you can see the person who has left that body.

Likewise, you can find out information about other beings which exist. You can find out

all kinds of mysteries which are impossible to discover in this physical world. Great

teachings of the world come from the higher dimensions, and you can get spiritual teachings

yourself directly if youre out of your body.

Why are these dreams and other experiences in this astral plane so symbolic?

Because symbolism is a universal language; its used in the higher dimensions and therefore

in dreams. There are things which can be said in symbols that cant be said in words.

Words are limited in the wisdom they can convey, whereas symbols can have a greater depth and

meaning.

Symbols are a universal language spoken in higher dimensions. This language is written

in ancient sacred sites and in teachings of the past, and its a gradual process to

understand it. Symbols also protect the knowledge from the uninitiated by hiding it in a language

the public doesnt understand. In this way knowledge can be imparted to the more spiritually

advanced, while protecting it from those who would trash it and try to harm its practitioners.

If you were to practice esotericism, you could get secret teachings and tap into hidden knowledge

out of the body and in dreams.

How do you know that what we experience in the astral plane is real and not just a figment

of our imagination?

Because you can test things between here and there, and you can verify that its real.

For example, you can project out of your body and go and check somewhere, or see something

youve never seen before, which you can easily verify later. If you do, youll discover

that whats in this physical world is in the astral plane too. It becomes obvious that

youve had an objective out-of-body experience and that what exists over there is real.

What does it mean if we dream that we are flying through space?

It can mean that you were actually traveling through space, because dreams take place in

the astral plane, and there we do travel. When dreaming, everyone goes to many different

places. If you can remember your dreams, you can recall the different places that youve

been to.

Many people have dreams that seem to show future events that eventually come truehow

and why does this happen?

This is unexplainable in conventional scientific terms. There are premonitions happening in

peoples dreams all over the world, and they have happened throughout history.

The reason why premonitions occur in dreams is that time is different in the higher dimensions,

and there is a causal mechanism which moves action from there to here, so many events

happen first over there and then gradually permeate here. When I say over there,

I mean in the world of the sixth dimension (known as the causal plane), not the fifth

dimension (eternity), where dreams occur. There are seven dimensions; many events happen

in the higher ones and permeate down, until they eventually reach this one.

When someone has a premonition in their dream, theyre getting information from something

which has already happened over there, or they see something that comes from the higher

dimensions where events are known to be moving in a certain direction, or where there are

causal mechanisms (actions taking place that inevitably lead to a result), and so the event

is seen in a dream it before it actually materializes here.

Some people dream about being another person even, living in another era or country for

example. Can you explain what all of this is about?

It could come from the subconscious, or have a symbolic meaning, or it could be something

which they had lived through many years ago. Every event that happens here is stored and

forms whats called the Akashic records. When youre in these records, its as

though youre actually living in that time.

If youre trying to understand dreams or astral experiences of these kinds, you need

to be able to distinguish the difference between objective experiences and projections of your

own subconscious. By becoming aware of the subconscious during daily life and acquiring

self-knowledge you can gradually free yourself, consciousness, from its influence, weakening

its influence here, and therefore weakening its influence over there, and then you can

see what actually happens over there.

Can I take control of or create my own dreams?

Yes, to do that you either have to be aware when you are dreaming, or knowingly influence

your dreams with what you do in daily life.

It takes training to do something in the physical world that has an impact in dreams. If you

wanted to do it, you could train yourself to do something that will trigger you to remember

to question where you are when youre dreaming. You could for example keep asking yourself

whether you are in the physical world or in the dream world at many times during the day.

Combine this with doing something that can only be done in the dream world, like jumping

in the air and floating or pulling your finger and seeing it stretch. Or jump up in the air

every time you see the stars and question which dimension you are in. These get recorded

in the subconscious, and youll eventually do the same thing and question in your dreams,

only youll realize youre in a dream and will be conscious in the astral plane.

When you do wake up in the astral plane, dont waste the experience by trying to create your

own reality there. That is just imagining something and making it appear as real, instead

of being clear and objective so your astral experience is of what is real, and you can

learn there.

You can create things from your subconscious in the astral plane. So for example, if you

imagine a yellow car outside your house and concentrate on it, then it can appear as a

real object. It wont be real though obviously; its a projection of the mind, which wastes

the opportunity to see whats actually there. To explore life outside the body, its better

to be objective and to see things as they are.

You can also change what happens in your dreams generally by doing different things and by

changing yourself. As you change here, you change in your dreams as well.

Why cant we always remember our dreams?

There are many reasons why. First of all, the state of awareness during the day can

be pretty low; there can be strong daydreams with feelings and emotions turning over and

over with hypnotic power robbing awareness of the three-dimensional world. When that

happens in dreams, the effect of the subconscious projections is very strong, submerging everything,

and creating bad dreams. Because the subconscious is so strong, those dreams tend not to remembered

unless they become very negative, and become nightmares, which wake you up.

Being in heavy ego states throughout the day drags a person into low subconscious states

which makes the consciousness more asleep. In dreams these states drag someone into low

subconscious regions where lower forces influence and permeate the psyche, then bad dreams happen

and dreams in general cannot easily be remembered.

Another reason could be that the memory may not have been trained to remember them, or

a person is not trying to remember their dreams.

Its also difficult to remember dreams if you get straight up out of bed as soon as

you wake up. But if you lie still when you wake up and try to remember, then you can

remember them better. Another reason could be disturbed sleep, or getting to bed too

late.

There are many reasons why dreams arent remembered. If you understand the reasons

and tackle them one-by-one, dreams will become a valuable source of learning.

Whos responsible for giving these symbols, these teachings you speak of?

If you go out of the body youll find that youre not alone, that there are other beings

over there. They have been mentioned in different religions and spiritual teachings. They are

either spiritual beings of light or sinister ones of darkness, the demons of religions.

All conscious life exists in the fifth dimension wherever it comes from.

There are some that have awakened spiritually from a human existence, while others are beings

who are spiritual in their very nature and were formed so.

What are the Akashic records? Are they a place where everything that happens is recorded?

You may be fortunate enough that your astral experience takes you to the Akashic records,

which are files of nature where every single event that has ever happened is recorded and

stored.

When you actually go into the Akashic records, what happens is that you appear in the place

and time of the record. So lets say you were in an Akashic file from a Roman period,

you would then find yourself not looking at it like some kind of movie of those files,

but you would be back in the time and place of an ancient land. In one of my earliest

out-of-body experiences, I projected out of my body and went straight back in time to

the early 1960s to my bedroom. It was exactly as it was when I was a child, but I was there

as I am here now in just the same way.

However, if you do go into the astral plane, you cant expect it to be exactly as you

want it to be because there are other sets of rules. You have to watch out for dreams

from the subconscious that can convince you that you are seeing records from the past,

but which are actually just projections from your own subconscious.

Thats why you should be as aware as you can be when having an out-of-body experience,

so that you see whats there. If you try to will it too much, you can easily project

a fantasy from the mind, which becomes as though something real but actually isnt.

Do people heal from the other side to here?

Not so much ordinary people, but spiritual beings heal from that dimension, because the

dimensions interpenetrate, they go down to the tiniest level where the dimensions meet.

So a being from the other side can heal through the fifth dimension to this one. Spiritual

beings have a great power to heal.

Is there anything to be frightened about when having out-of-body experiences?

Going into the unknown can give rise to a lot of fear; in fact, its a basic fear,

the fear of the unknown. But everyone goes into the astral plane every single night when

asleep and people dont die because of it, or get stuck there, or anything like thateveryone

comes back naturally, we are attached to the physical body with a silver cord that brings

us back every night. Its only cut at death, so dont worry, youll come back.

There are things there however that can frighten people. You might have heard of scary stories

of people meeting sinister beings while they were having an OBE. Its because there is

light and darkness in the universe, and some beings are of light and some of darkness.

Theres a negative side to life out of the body such as the inferior dimensionsif

youve ever had a nightmare youve experienced them, They are referred to as hells

or abysses in various religions. If youve had a nightmare, youve actually

been to hell.

There are parts within each person that take the psyche to the lower regions and link them

there. Its something to be aware ofonce you are aware of it then you can start to

overcome the fear of itbut its the fear of the unknown, which is the biggest problem.

Once you have had enough out-of-body experiences, youll probably get over that fear.

There are things going on that are unknown to most of humanity. If youve consciously

had an OBE you can tell others about it, but you can never show them your own experience,

and so anyone who wants to understand higher dimensions should astral project and go there.

Top 10 Rhythm Heaven/Paradise Games - Duration: 18:11.

Welp, after quite a few memes (and after finally being able to bring Tapper back...)

We're finally back and this time we're bringing to you our Top 10 games from Rhythm Heaven for NDS

After the big success of Rhythm Tengoku in Japan, it was bound to receive a sequel

This time it even made it to the west, so we could luckily enjoy it

Like in the previous Top 10, it was made by all five of us

And it was done according to: the music, the gameplay and our own personal tastes

Oh, and now David is here too

Mmm...hi

Number 10

DO RE MI FA SO

Built to Scale is the first minigame of this amazing game

Of this amazing game (repeating in case you didn't know it)

In this minigame, all you need to do is flicking when the widgets arrive to SO

It's easy, like the first game from GBA, but unlike Karate Man, in this game the difficulty raises

The tempo goes up and even the lights decide to "die" at a certain part

A good way to introduce us to the game, isn't it?

(Also, first minigame in 3D)

The sequel isn't that different, because it has a similar son...

OH GOD, WHAT'S THAT?!

Built to Scale 2 has way more widgets and at higher speed no less, but the game is still great

Rest in peace, Built to Scale, you never made it to Megamix

Even when all the first set of Tengoku WAS INCLUDED, THAT'S UNFAIR, VERY UNFAIR

Number 9

I fell for ya baby, because you're so pretty

Ahh, Frog Hop, this game is special for two reasons:

First; the blue frog is considered the mascot from this game

Second; the song from the first game is the only one sung by the one and only Tsunku♂

Well, with a filter, but still..

And about the gameplay, it's a simple game

You'll need the simple touch for dancing, "yahooing" and..."yeah, yeah, yeahing"?

And flicking for spinning (boys)...makes sense, doesn't it?

It's mostly keeping the beat touching the touch screen...easy, right?

Now imagine doing it during two minutes with all the cues that you learn in the practice

And now, imagine a sequel with a higher tempo and more complicated combinations

Even then, it's a fun game and also quite forgiving, since the "barelies" aren't counted as mistakes even while going for a Perfect

Not in Megamix, though...RIP

And yeah, now you'll think "this is gonna be easy", until...the game starts

It has fantastic music and it's a fan favourite so it was no surprise that it made it to Megamix

The problem is...welp, RIP the original controls from DS

But hey, there's always the "simple tap" mode...right?

That was used by literally no one, nobody likes and it was wasted potential for all the games that weren't from DS

O_O

Seriously, HOW IS THIS GAME LOWER THAN DJ SCHOOL?

Number 8

My favorite game from DS, DJ School holds a special place in my memories of playing this series

When I first played it, I understood the mechanics of the game quickly and I totally enjoyed it

And not only the music is like a raspberry and chocolate ice cream for your ears

I loved the experience of stopping the DJ record and spinning it with the flick, it really fits the game

In case you don't remember, you play as Student...because yeah, that's literally his name

A DJ student who receives lessons from a yellow DJ, and both of you mix a song for the audience

It may sound complicated but it's actually one of the simplest games of the series

You just have to: hold and flick

It's kind of similar to Rat Race from Rhythm Tengoku but, let's face it

It's objectively better because you just can't compare counting up to three to...

Scratch-o, hey!

When you hold the DJ record, the music changes, and when you flick it, it's normal again, all of that with sound effects!

Aaaa, I love this game!

I know that I'm not the only one...WHERE MY DJ SCHOOL BOYS AT?

HERE!

Fun fact: if you move the stylus while holding, you can hear those sounds

*Scratches in Spanish*

Number 7

Hated by some, loved by others

(Like myself)

Rockers is a game in which you have to play the guitar together with your teacher, J.J. Rocker

A man who had to leave the stages due to a leasson in his neck (the dangers of a extreme headbanging)

(A game with a normal story if we compare it to most of the games from the series)

You'll only need the flick, but that's enough to make it one of the most fun (and frustrating) games to play

Because your rhythm needs to be almost perfect, and you gotta train and train until you perfect it

(And become a Pokémon master)

And if we talk about the music, well, just like the games themselves, it's...

Perfect, incredible, a masterpiece and...

It's obvious that I don't want to make good ol' Locorito mad, isn't it?

But seriously, yeah, the music's pretty good. The one from the first game is more chill

And the sequel has a more frenetic arrangement due to the new moves...but yeah, the music is good

And about that, Rockers 2 is the only game from DS that uses a button, in this case, the R button (or L, if you're left handed)

(Another thing that's wasted potential, BY THE WAY)

In order to bend, you'll need to be more concentrated, since you need a more precise rhythm

And this game is so great that it even has unlockable Guitar Lessons

After beating the first game you'll unlock the Basic Lessons, and the sequel unlocks the Technical ones

In order to unlock more songs you need to have enough medals because...

Who doesn't want to listen to Jumpin' Jazz again?

(Frog Hop Rock in Megamix in Spanish for some reason)

And that's not all, if you get at least an A in all the Lessons, you can participate in the Battle of the Bands

In which you have to play all the songs from the level that you chose, Basic or Technical

And the public even reacts depending on your performance

Seriously, playing this is awesome, especially at the end of the Technical one

Why is this just in seventh place ;___;?

Number 6

It's impossible to forget that epic introduction [I wrote this]

In this minigame you play as the eponimous Munchy Monk, "training" himself in the sacred art of eating dumplings

It's a fast paced game, short and simple too; tap once for eating a dumpling, three times to the rhythm for three, and twice fast for two dumplings

It's simple, short...but engaging! And the music is good, so of course it will have a sequel

In this game the monk was...fired or whatever from his temple and decides to have a try at the circus

The gameplay remains the same ("Mismo" in Spanish) and the song is a bit extended

You know that you have played this too much when you can't stop saying...

ONE, GO! ONE, GO! THREE! GO, GO, GO!

Number 5

It's an obligation for us to honor these noble soldiers, who gave it all for the sake of their homeland

And whom we probably owe our lives. May their blue feathers be forever remembered...

And may they always be remembered...as heroes

Whatever, Blue Birds is an excellent game, it had to be here!

In this minigame you have to follow your captain's orders, or else...

But we have to say that the captain is a cute bird...

Who has probably seen things...horrible things

You're the third one, and you need to do everything that the captain says

Does he say that you have to peck your beak? You peck your darn beak three times, recruit!

Does he say that you stretch out your neck? YOU BETTER DO IT

Number 4

OwO, what's this?

Lockstep is also one of my favorites. The music's great and as a remixer...

I must say that the voices of the "step switchers" are good and go well with almost everything

Many people have problems with this game at the beginning

But once you get it you become unstoppable and you can't get out your head those

HEY HEY HEY A-HO

The idea of this game is simple, you just have to march at the same time as your partners

Easy, right? Well, of course it won't be that easy

Watch out, here comes the plot-twist

When you listen to a certain cue you'll have to switch and marching to the offbeat

And when you hear the other cue, you have to go back to the beat

If you don't know much about these musical terms, chances are that the first time you'll get a bit confused

And maybe you'll get slapped quite a few times before learning...

But hey, we all went through that, didn't we?

However, once you get it, you'll realize that you have learnt something very valuable about rhythm

And it will totally help you in more games of this series

Number 3

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

So it's finally here...the adorable song that excited a whole generation of players!

Mmm...well, yeah, maybe I exaggerated (a bit)

But there's one thing that's undeniable, if you think about this series in Spanish (and well, most languages really) you'll probably think about this song

The song's corny?

Yeah, there's no denying to that..

But is it catchy?

A lot!

And will this game be one of your favorites?

For all time, I suppose!

Let's get to (monkey) business

You're a cute monkey that has to cheer a pop singer

(Which is also cute) [RIP the pun, lost in translation]

And in order to do that you have to clap in different ways following the lyrics of the song

You'll need to clap four times if she repeats a word three times, or in a way different way if she says "I suppose"

And don't even think about clapping out of that, even if you think that the girl's doing great and you just want to cheer her more

Because the other monkeys will judge you...a lot

The only problem of the game? It's too darn short...but then

A sequel!

An extended version of the original song...

(Extended...what a wonderful word, don't you think?)

And it even has new cues!

And this time around, yeah, this is a game of medal...but not Perfect

It's a good example of what a sequel should be

As a fun fact, the singer from the Japanese version of DS, left Tsunku♂'s company

Which is why the games are so different in Megamix

There's a new singer and even the arrangement is slightly different

In the Spanish version we luckily got back the original voices from DS

Truly a classic™

Number 2

PUNCH KICK

Karate Joe returns to practice the Tatsumaki Senpukiaku art

That is, the noble art of knowing how to kick for good

The gameplay of this game is simlar to its GBA prequel but...watch out!

After the lightbulb, a barrel will approach and then you'll need to give it a solid kick with the new

PUNCH KICK

Just like in the Tengoku game, this Karate Man has a vocal song too

But this one is...beautiful, there's no comparison. This one's much, MUCH better than the Tengoku one

And that's definitively not because it's the first and only song of Karate Man in our language

Ah, and don't be salty because this game didn't win

I'm sure the first place will make up for it...right?

[Totally-unbiased-TL's notes: no]

And here we have some honorable mentions

Number 1

Get ready, we're going to outter space (again) for our number one

(Wait, haven't we said this already?)

Looks like we love the space games

Yes, we're "spatial" persons

Our favorite game from the Nintendo DS game, and hence our number one is...

Space Soccer!

Wiii™! High kick go!

It's easy to describe Space Soccer...or at least compared to most games of this series

You're just a soccer player alien...

(Mmm, possibly related to the dancers from Cosmic Dance?)

(It's just a theory. A game theory)

...who trains in space because...well, because

I don't know, do you think there's a better place to practice soccer?

Seriously, this series loves to throw random games into the space for no reason

Oh yeah, and you also have clones

Regarding the gameplay, it's simple, it's a "keep the beat" game

You need to keep the ball going and do it to the rhythm of this superb song

But watch out, sometimes the ball has the sudden urge to forfeit

Don't worry, just flick and give it a good ol' high kick

At the beginning you'll probably lose quite a few balls but once you get it it's really engaging

KICK GO!

And about the sequel...there's mixed opinions here in la Liga

But if you ask me, I know it fo'sho

Space Soccer 2 master race!

(And don't forge to tell us in the comments in which team are you)

Both games, in a simlar way to Tap Trial, are similar yet different

Space Soccer is a "keep the beat" game with some occasional kicks

Space Soccer 2 is kicks, kicks, some occasional kick...and yeah, between kicks you have to keep the beat too

Oh! You also need to kick sometimes!

It's a frenetic game which tries to surprise you

(Those double kicks near the end)

Simply great

But also, the sequel's arrangement is beautiful

I don't know who had the idea to give this western arrangement to Space Soccer but it's a perfect fit

In short, two amazing games that sadly didn't make it to Megamix...

But well, the memory of these games will still be alive in our hearts

And I suppose that it will still be alive in our Nintendo DS too

In memory of those "KICK, HIGH KICK GO!

In memory of all those missed soccer balls

And...yeah, I suppose that in memory of all those YEEEHAW

We tip our hats (cowboy hats, of course)

To Soccer Ball and its sequel, rest in peace

[See you space cowboy]

And that's all, folks!

Thank you verrry much for staying with us in a new Top 10 and we hope you enjoyed as much as we did doing this Top 10 and reviving this amazing game

If you liked this video, don't forget to suscribe to La Liga de los Mem...I mean, La Liga del Ritmo

And also please, let us know in the comments your opinions about the video and your choices

(If DJ School isn't among your favorites...)

Shut up! Rockers is the best one!

B-b-but muh Karate Man ;_;

OK, I think there's a bit of rivalry in this topic...

But now we're stressed out... [CC] || Jeff Miller - Duration: 4:33.

( slurping noise )

Oh, nope. That's too hot.

That's too hot.

Okay, well. * claps *

Speaking of things that are hot, one of my favorite memes on the internet

is the dog that's surrounded by fire and just says "This is fine."

Like, everything is fine. This is fine. This is fine.

Yeah, that's how my life is currently.

[ INTRO MUSIC : Tops by Lincoln Jesser ]

Hey, everyone. It's Jeff. I hope you're doing well.

So exactly one year ago, I posted a video talking about how going to therapy doesn't make you weak.

Since then, I haven't really done a mental health update, so I figured

now would be the best time to do it. [ laughs ]

At this point, I've been going to therapy at least once a month for an entire year

and I'm very privileged and fortunate that I've been able to have insurance that's helping me pay for that.

And I can honestly say that I am not the same person that I was a year ago or two years ago.

Heck, even like six months ago.

I mean, I am the same person, but

like an evolved version of myself. Like, does that make sense?

Essentially, this last year I've really been working on myself and basically

unpacking a lot of the, the shit that has happened in my life.

I'm not going to go into too much detail about what all of that is because I don't think it's necessary here.

But, um, yeah.

I've really been working very hard.

And, with that said, I still have trouble somedays.

And right now, I don't think it's going to come as much of a surprise, but I've been struggling a lot recently.

I'm very anxious. I'm very, very stressed right now.

Um, and a lot of this is because I'm prepping to move.

So I'm leaving this city which means I'm losing my therapist

and I'm leaving the friendships that I've made here.

I mean, I'm not like losing them, but I'm leaving them and that's impacting me in some way.

I'm also leaving my job which means that I'm losing my insurance

and that's really stressing me out because I have a surgery date for (phalloplasty) next year

and if I don't find insurance that is able to cover that in some way, shape, or form...

Like, I don't. I don't know what I'm going to do there.

I've also been stressed about how much it costs move.

And trying to find a place to live and trying to find a new job and...

* heavy sigh *

I, I know logically that this move is what is best for me, but that's not necessarily helping me with my anxiety.

Like, I know logically this move is really important to me

and that this is what I want, but...

Oh, God.

I'm, I'm struggling through it right now.

I've gotten good at riding out where my overlaps are

and figuring out what is triggering some of my anxiety and

what my stressors are and doing my best to cope with that,

but this one is taking me for a bit of a ride.

But yeah, May is typically a bad month for me. It's...

the month that brings back a lot of memories or

it's just when a lot of things have happened or when a lot of things are happening

and I can't seem to find a grip.

* heavy sigh *

So, we're kind of like free-falling. [ laughs ]

But not like the Tom Petty free-falling.

That one would be fun, but this one is not.

I don't know, y'all. I just wanted to update y'all on where I'm at currently

and kind of give an explanation for why I haven't been on social media that much.

Because, yeah, I've been trying to figure out my life. [ laughs ]

And, I mean, whatever's going to happen is going to happen and I'll deal with that regardless, but

trying to get as much in place as I possibly can before I move because

yeah, that's coming up soon. So woo! [ laughs ]

But, as always, you are valid.

You are loved.

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your weekend and I'll see you again on Monday.

Bye.

【Minecraft】マイクラの全ブロックでピラミッド Part96【ゆっくり実況】 - Duration: 10:21.

Hello, this is Teryi.

Good evening, it is slowly.

Thank you for your viewing.

Thanks dear.

Now the time being, Thank you for your opinion about another edited version.

To an extent less no offense to the main, I think I will start to make at the appropriate time.

In other words, I when I want to breather.

Well as scenes collection and architectural digest that you approach, I think that if possible in the form of something.

At the same from this time, it was revised Notes on your watch at the beginning.

It I was left without changing many years to think of it.

Do your videos is what content, and that many do not know and do not try to series, is I unexpectedly difficult to express.

Well But, I think you are more or less correct because summarizes the trend of the past of the video.

Well, last time to release the potion track record at last, began the undersea temple cheats.

And since I arrived in a large room that apparently there is a gold block, you have mired.

I did not remember from where came?

The block of undersea temple production still not used to seeing, it distinguishes painful. And is this room branch is too many.

In, there is a hole in the bottom with difficulty, I went into probably the place that seems and I think we came from here.

Not different from anything?

I think that it be noticed willing Well.

And we know well that that was a trap.

And struggling from there for about a minute and a half, we come finally back to the earlier of the trap room.

What you're doing.

Are you and let's remember one after the other one by one place the branch, but its memory every time a fight with Guardian will be cleared.

Perhaps Guardian will of hostile mobs of memory operation system.

It is you become virtually so.

Well but, thanks to the Guardian has decreased so far, we have been able to understand little by little.

There is no difference in came from here.

Well, it is about time that potion expires.

The came is also Garn here but, surprisingly period when I examined after the play is mixed.

The time from Garn until the next Garn, there was a gap difference of 4 minutes to 4 minutes and 44 seconds.

I that a few tens of seconds from 1 minute before the mining lowering effect expires.

Well, to begin the search of the potion two sets of eyes.

Certainly Elder Guardian since have seen the most outside of the temple, we aim to there.

And finally, we arrived traced to sponge the room.

It I was finally discovered.

Matada, I did not at all aware of this during the play, when he looked up in this one the back of the room, was not convinced that it is the first of a sponge room discovery.

Anyway, it has passed more than one year from the time that were not found in previous work of the first challenge. It is a deep feeling.

I found this in a double room for the time being.

Since 20 is beyond where roughly seen, or should suffice if you find about 10 rooms to the target number of sponge.

It should be noted that, come back and try Haimo again sponge.

I noticed in a two-room second to the Kaerigake.

Well then it is arrived to why the entrance to the horns of wandered about 3 minutes.

Speaking without exploring the back of the dark Prisma phosphorus of the room, but it was well dead end.

In just when you get back, it seems Elder Guardian gave me trouble came.

We did run out of numbness Crazy Waiting the Teryi.

Even so, is it really reliable defense tolerance and heart recovery of the beacon.

Attack Thanks was able to practice a maximum of defense will.

But it's well just bulldoze.

And apparently, it seems to have arrived finally traced to the outer wall of the undersea temple.

After that I tried turning all round, maybe you should see there are three little eyes.

And in one minute that follow the outer wall while fighting with the Guardian, it is the emergence of three little eyes.

I wonder the other side of the wall.

In the middle in a two-set eyes of the potion that had scattered kick the entourage Guardian has expired.

It was good to come to bring Sunset.

In other words it did took 16 minutes so far.

And, finally three animals destroyed. After that if wait for the expiration of the effect of the decrease in mining speed, you will be passing freely digging the wall.

Time to wait for the effect out is depending on the period of the Garn, but it is 5 minutes close to the maximum.

But here and to turn off the forced effect drinking the milk, but I seem to get off even the effect of the potion, what about you do?

It than First, you If you do not shorten the search time.

I know. But Well than that, you can escape from the submarine temple within 8 minutes I'm challenges of the present time.

I think I'll have arrived into the trap of room still.

And after three minutes, it was suddenly spread that vision. It is relieved breath.

It was go back to the time being alive, I wonder was the revenge of the undersea temple cheats.

No, really of revenge it is from here. To understand the structure, it does not become a not-crafted the capture method.

Even so, a bottle of water filled is, what can not stack If you do not still drink.

I drank six working hard, but the nectar of victory, which go back to the time being alive, is watery.

I thing it is water.

If Well dare say, how you look and salt conservative for he drew the sea also, I think that the body was tender.

Mean to say, the game is resumed while watching the pyramid.

Oh, it is a lie.

What's the lie?

Well anyway, If you cause a handwritten map in the recording of up to earlier, it is as you show you last time became like this.

During the play is too early to change the orientation of the body, you may not know even drop the playback speed of the recorded data.

Because suddenly turned around and attacked the Guardian.

Now that night have dandruff, I tried to sleep in the bed, it will be obstructed by the Guardian here.

I thing it is just above the seabed temple.

With hindsight it put me in here, it does not springing the mobs in this sea base.

So it means there was no sleep, but we give priority to regular life rhythm.

Well, it takes a wall to spotted excl. If we tentatively normally capture anything or future, we are far do I think is a little care and sometime not so much hesitation.

Not a thought Toka weep?

Since the size of one one of the room was the same way, it should not extend that far.

And, since it is grasped to the fact that four-story at this point, you start from the third floor.

In order to see the connection between the room and the room, leaving the under first block of the wall, it will destroy the third stage the second stage.

And, by the time the re drink the potion, sponge the room that had been thought that there was on the third floor is, I noticed that there was no on the third floor.

Third floor, not 's 2 × 4 room, I it was a 2 × 3 room.

Fatal I misunderstanding and split.

Is a translation of a handwritten map is funny in the street.

And incidentally the fourth floor as well, and renovations to the room full of a feeling of opening.

I'm I'm I was building system now that you mention it.

We There are rumors that say civil engineering.

In, I wanted to make sure is we know the fourth floor of orientation.

Since only the fourth floor of the room is seen before and after the orientation, I know I could use when it lost its sense of direction during the search.

I No of just above the entrance that is open hole.

Now, When I looked in turn the third floor of a six room in a state of removing the wall, became like this.

Again only to have only 6 rooms, is the structure is easy to understand.

When I was in the handwriting map, have been region is divided into two parts, the area of the green frame as to defeat the fourth floor of the Elder Guardian.

Path for other areas is to move between the second floor of two rooms, the fact that you can see.

It's much truth as applications.

Just maybe it is after, in much likely there be a sponge room is also generated on the third floor, you might want also not nearly consciousness during the third floor of the structure search.

Extra thing is the fact that not remember?

The first place we give up Toka remember the three-dimensional structure.

It went the old days, 8 is also the time of capture of Wizasuke head gathered in tied chunk, because much is the entire image to try to cause a handwritten map did not grasp.

Well, we play but we are far to remove the wall of the second floor, so could not be a little together, this time will be up here.

It should be noted that from the two times of the recorded data after the play, handwritten map is completed, capture method has also finished batter Oita.

After, read and then to fine the wiki, but I saw a structure map of the seabed temple.

In that map looks like there is room hidden on the first floor, but I think not a mistake because it down from the second floor.

In other words, the hidden room is not to be generated.

It is generated whether not it rare. Since the Well of now expected of treatment, it might be released.

So, we will work hard the next time.

see you next time. Buying and selling.

[Godot Engine] Managing Complexity - Duration: 7:19.

Hello there!

Well, every project reaches a point where you will start working with very complex systems.

It can be a mess if you don't know where is that object you were working on.

In this video we will talk about how Godot Engine handles this with its amazing Scene System

To better understand what will come, we need first to understand how do we compose our games with Godot Engine.

So let's talk about the Scene Tree.

The Scene Tree is where everything begins

It's basically the tree of processes of your game, where you will state what will be processed in addition to the default backend systems

It's here where you will really compose your game by using Godot's nodes.

From now on, we will use a metaphor to explain it.

By default Godot developers already gave some botanics related names,

so let's use botanics as a metaphor to the Scene Tree .

By default, a Scene always has a root node, which is hidden below what we see in the editor.

It actually has this name, root, and it is a Viewport, since you would need a Viewport anyway it is there by default.

You can access this node with the function get_tree().get_root()

The first node you add to your scene can be called trunk when it is a main scene, which will not be instantiated

this node can be called stem when it is anything which composes a main scene, or will be instantiated inside it.

A trunk provides the structure for the Tree,

while the stem provides structures for branches, which we will talk later

After the trunk you start to add branches to your Scene Tree and that's where stuff start to get interesting.

When you reach this level of composition in your game, you will start to think about break the complexity of your scene

so that you can focus on that specific topic, solve it, and move on.

Well Godot offers to us the option to save a scene as branch.

By doing so, the node will be saved as a new scene tree

therefore the base will turn into a stem, since it is a branch composing the main tree

Then Godot will create an instance of this node in the scene you were working on.

From now on you can focus on working in this branch, every change will reflect in the instance.

This also provides an awesome tool to re usability of your behaviors

since this branch is saved separately from the other scene,

you can now create more instances of it and use it in other branches

That's what I call graft,

when you cut a tree branch and join it with another tree

But that's not the only way to make a graft in Godot

you can always merge a branch from a scene.

This means that you can take a branch, or even the stem of a scene and add it to another

This method will not create it as an instance, so if you change the original node

it will not reflect in the merged one.

This allows you to reuse background, animations, particle systems and such,

but independently, no changes on the original branch will be reflected.

If you want to extend a scene behavior adding more complexity and specific systems,

you can create an inherited scene

When we do this, I like to say that the we are using a seed, all the behaviors, the DNA

of the scene will be inherited, but now we can keep adding more stuff to it

while the stem node will keep being updated with the seed changes.

This is called class inheritance in Object Oriented Programming

and it is one of the most important concepts of this paradigm

The ability to create a base object with general behaviors and

then create new ones from it with more specific behaviors

while both levels of complexity are linked through a hierarchy of inheritance.

But that's not everything yet.

In addition to inherit a scene and modifying it as you want

without breaking the link it has with the "template" scene

I call the process of modifying the structure of the scene a mutation

when it inherits a seed,

you can also do the class inheritance within a script and

extends the script of the scene inherited

To do this you just need to pass a string with the path to the

GDScript of the inherited scene and insert it after the extends keyword.

By doing this, a link will be created between the scripts and every change in the parent

the one which was inherited

will be reflected into the new script.

This will allow to decentralize some of the behaviors

just like if this new script was a branch of the inherited one.

As you could see, the inherited scripts didn't have a single line of commands but to extend other script

Even so, they have the same behavior.

That's why class inheritance is so powerful

if you want to modify, add or even remove a general behavior, let's say of all your enemies,

you just need to do it in the base enemy class.

That's all for now guys, if you have some doubts, if anything isn't clear to you

leave a comment below. If you liked the video, lemme know, leave a thumbs up.

and that's it, keep developing and until the next time!
