The leaders of South Korea and the United States agreed on holding a bilateral summit

as U.S. President Donald Trump called to congratulate South Korean President Moon Jae-in on his

victory in Tuesday's election.

It's a much anticipated meeting as there are pending issues of great importance for both

sides, especially on the security front due to North Korea's advancing nuclear ambitions.

"I think there should be a more close coordination with President Trump first very quickly because

his North Korea policy is already undergoing some important processes.// In order to have

an important influence on the U.S. policy on North Korea there should be close coordination

and dialogue with President Trump as soon as possible."

President Moon, a liberal reformer, has advocated dialogue with North Korea and engagement with

the regime--particularly on the economic front-- as the best method to achieve a denuclearized

Korean peninsula.

Washington on the other hand is focused on maximizing pressure on Pyongyang while keeping

the door open for credible talks on the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

Another issue that needs ironing out is the THAAD deployment issue.

While the THAAD system became operational last week,... Moon during his campaign said

he would review the deployment of the controversial missile defense system.

On top of that, Trump raised concerns over the cost of THAAD, as he was quoted saying

that Seoul should pay a staggering one billion U.S. dollars for the system--a cost South

Korea is not responsible for.

Officials from South Korea's foreign ministry reportedly said they will soon start arranging

a team of envoys to fly to Washington to discuss the details of the bilateral summit.

Trump also pledged to send a high-level advisory delegation to Seoul to arrange summit talks.

And to ensure a successful first meeting between the current administrations of South Korea

and the U.S., diplomatic sources say, the key will be reaching an agreement on such

pressing issues.

On June 8th, those of us who can be bothered will be the braving the British political

system to take part in what's known as an 'election'.

But what is an election?

And why are they so pointless?

Elections have been knockin' about since the 5th century BC when Greek men first used

them to vote on laws, elect officials and to decide whose turn it was to be on top.

Way back then, the voters would just hold up their hands.

Presumably because pencils on strings had not yet been invented.

We've come a long way since then.

Now, in the 21st century, we in the UK use the much more modern and sophisticated First

Past the Post System where everyone puts a cross in a box and whoever gets the most votes

wins.

Some people are saying that this isn't good enough and it's 'unrepresentative' and

to them I say...

What does that even mean?

To demonstrate the superiority of our system over those fancy 'show offy' alternatives,

where people can vote for the person they actually want to win without handing power

to someone they're scared of, let's look at the last general election results.

I don't believe in politics so I've replaced the names of political parties with the names

of Nicolas Cage movies.

National Treasure got 30% of the vote and 36% of the seats.

Lord of War got 37% of the votes and 51% of the seats.

While The Wicker Man got 12.6% of the vote and just 0.2% of the seats, which is barely a stool.

So Lord of war won essentially 100% of the power with just over a third of the vote.

Which personally I think is fine.

I don't know what everyone's worried about.

So to summarise:

Number One: There is absolutely nothing wrong with our elections.

Number Two: Don't worry about the government, I'm sure it's fine.

Number Three: Nicolas Cage is versatile as hell and it's a marvel he's only won

one oscar.

So with all this in mind, when June 8th rolls around, if you happen to be passing a polling

station on your way to get milk, or if you're at a loose end and you've already seen

Guardians of the Galaxy 2, maybe go and cast a ballot.

Or don't.

See if I care.

Personally I trust those boffins in parliament to make the right decision.

They've never steered us wrong before.

Despite paying trillions in Federal taxes every year, Americans' requests for a clear,

detailed breakdown of where their money goes every year, have gone unanswered and been

ignored by both Republican and Democrat administrations for one simple reason: transparency has an

unpleasant way of mutating into accountability, which is the scariest thing imaginable for

any career politician.

Not any more.

On Tuesday, the US Treasury launched a new website designed to track virtually every

dollar - out of roughly $4 trillion - in federal spending.

The new website, Beta.USAspending.gov, was created to put data into the hands of taxpayers

by empowering them to track how their tax dollars are spent.

The site is designed to follow federal agency spending and, for the first time, links spending

data to awards distributed by the government.

In the statement, the Treasury said that �the new site provides taxpayers with the ability

to track nearly USD in government spending from Washington, DC directly into their communities

and cities,� says Treasury Secretary Mnuchin.

�Furthermore, greater access to data will drive better decision making and strengthen

accountability and transparency � qualities central to the Administration�s focus on

a more innovative and effective government.�

Federal spending flows through hundreds of federal agencies and programs to thousands

of companies and nonprofits and millions of individual citizens.

Visitors to the site can search by location, federal agency or by keyword for a specific

program or type of spending.

They can also search for a specific recipient of federal funds, such as a business or university.

Treasury released this new version of the USAspending.gov site in accordance with Digital

Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA Act) requirements.

The DATA Act was enacted into law in May 2014 to make federal spending data more accessible,

searchable, and reliable.

The data on Beta.USAspending.gov is compiled by Treasury with the assistance of other federal

agencies and will be updated and published on the site quarterly, with the first batch

of data published in May 2017.

Over the past two years, Treasury conducted extensive user research and stakeholder outreach

to develop the new site.

More than just pretty charts, however, the site will likely serve as a tool for investors

following along with Trump Administration proposal debates, and tracking who, where

and when is set to receive several billion in excess government generosity.

you can schedule your events and stuff

Moon Jae-in opens door to re-engage with North Korea but questions remain - Duration: 2:31.

The first liberal South Korean president in nearly a decade has expressed his intention

to improve relations with North Korea.

But with Pyongyang out in the diplomatic wilderness following provocation after provocation,...

it will be difficult for President Moon to make overtures right away.

Experts say the so-called 'Moonshine policy' might have to take the back seat for a while,..

as our Kwon Jang-ho reports.

On his first day in office, newly elected South Korean President Moon Jae-in was quick

to differentiate himself from the previous administration, as he looked to actively reach

out to North Korea.

"I will do everything I can to maintain peace on the Korean peninsula.

If needed I will fly to Washington immediately.

I will go to Beijing and Tokyo, and even to Pyongyang under the right conditions."

. . .

But that immediately raised many questions.

What are those right conditions and how soon can they be reached?

"North Korea has to show sincere intent towards talks, and intent towards denuclearization.

Only if those requirements are met can talks realistically be an option.

So it's unlikely to happen right away."

However some argue North Korea's actions over the last few months might have put them in

an awkward position whereby they might be more willing to make concessions.

"The U.S. has stated a possible military action, and even China has been putting pressure on

the regime.

North Korea is severely isolated from the international community at the moment.

Currently the only way out of that corner is by re-engaging with South Korea."

If Moon is willing to open up relations with North Korea again, another question is to

what extend?

Re-opening of the joint industrial complex in Kaesong and resuming tours to the North's

Mount Kumkang have been suggested, but there are concerns they could violate strict economic

sanctions put in place by the UN Security Council last year.

But there are other avenues Moon could pursue.

"Humanitarian options, such as the reunions for separated families or aiding North Korean

infants, could be something that President Moon can offer to Pyongyang soon."

Although it is still very early into Moon's presidency, and there are still many factors

that could affect all outcomes, the doors to re-connect with Pyongyang have been open.

Bereaved families of deadly Weihai bus fire visit memorial - Duration: 1:39.

Bereaved families of Tuesday's deadly bus fire in China are in the country to mourn

their lost children.

A memorial has been set up at the Korean community center in Weihei for

the eleven children,... ten of whom were Korean,... and driver who died.

Aram... as a father myself... it's impossible to imagine what those parents are going through

right now...

Truly heartbreaking... one mother can be seen in front of a photo of her young son saying

that she will wait for him in the next life and that she will hold on to his necklace

for safekeeping.

Park Ryeo-yeom was the mother of Wang Yi-bo, the one Chinese boy out of the 11 children

who died in Tuesday's incident.

Wang was a Chinese national, but his mother is Korean.

Other bereaved family members have visited the memorial set up at the Korean community

center in Weihei, the city where the incident took place.

Photos of the 11 children and driver have been displayed on an alter, with flowers laid

out in front of them.

The Chinese driver was known to have died from inhaling smoke while trying to save the

children.

Seoul's envoy to China Kim Jang-soo and other members of the local community, who have been

numbed by the tragedy, also left floral tributes with messages of condolence and support.

The victims' families have urged for a speedy investigation into the tragedy.

The Chinese government, meanwhile, has sent counselors to the hotel at which the families

are staying to offer them assistance and Beijing's foreign ministry has said it is staying in

touch with Korea and dealing with the follow-up matters.

Traxxas Slash 4x4 Upgrade no 4 3D Printed Door Panels - Duration: 2:42.

In this video I am going to do a cosmetic upgrade by adding 3-D printed door panels

that I have designed and have them 3-D printed

out and one of my local hobby shops so now I am going to take the 3-D printed door panels

out of the bag and show you the parts so here they are.

So I now have the 3-D printed door panels laid out on the table next to mine

traxxas slash 4x4 so now we will go ahead and take a closer look at these

3-D printed door panels.

So what you see here in the photos are the 3-D printed door panels that I have designed

myself, and they look like I did a good job with this particular design.

So now i will take these 3-D printed door handles and remove the support

material that was used to make these parts and sand out some of the rough edges,

when i am done with that I will show you the results of that.

As you see here in the photos I got the rough edges out and I remove the support material

that was used to 3d print these door panels out.

So now i will take this permanent marker and make these 3-D door panels look

better

So now the next thing that i will do here is to take this double-sided tape.

And Cut it down to the size that I needed.

And then apply it to the 3d printed door panels where I remove the support material

that was used to produce the 3-D printed door panels.

So now the 3-D printed door panels are now ready to be applied onto the body

of these 3-D printed door panels

so i got that done so now i will do the same thing to the other side when i am done with

that I will show you the results of that.

As you saw here in the video and in the photos the installation went well so i have to make

some adjustments to make everything look right.
