The idea of this book was born more than three decades ago,

when I photographed my first jaguar

in the Igarapé do Guedes, Manacapuru, in the Amazon.

My name is Araquém Alcântara,

I am one of the precursors of nature photography in Brazil

I photograph jaguars for almost 50 years.

Since my first jaguar, I think of a book

that celebrates the beauty and grandeur

of the most incredible animal in the Americas.

The name of the book will be Jaguaretê,

which is how the Indians name the jaguar.

This book will be done in a very special way.

Each of you will be able to be part of this project

which is an exclusive book with only 400 numbered copies.

It's a book for collectors.

I am glad to share with you this project,

drawn up for so many years

and I hope it awaken, in each of you,

the feeling and need of conservation of this beautiful animal.

People,

NOAA's Teacher at Sea Program Pacific Northwest Region Alumni Workshop - Duration: 2:37.

When educators are selected to participate in NOAA's Teacher At Sea Program, they gain

hands-on research experience working at sea with world-renowned NOAA scientists.

Teachers then bring new insights back to their classrooms across the US.

...But the experience of their voyage is an individual one...

For one weekend, these Teacher At Sea alumni have come together. To meet one another...

to continue their education... and to share their common experience.

As top tier educators their hunger for stories and knowledge is insatiable.

The Pacific Northwest Region Alumni Weekend offered teachers the chance to share photos

and experiences from their trips to sea.

And while exploring NOAA's Alaska Fisheries Science Center at the Sandpoint Facility in Seattle,

teachers met top oceanic and atmospheric scientists and got a closer look at their work.

Mary: There was an impact that was school-wide.

Mary: There is a connection with real science, and our lives.

Richard: It's incredible. I mean, you're collecting science...

Richard: and it's not like out of a book.

Richard: And that's the way I try and inspire my students.

Methea: I want a redo. Do it again...

Methea: and see what else can be discovered with some of this new technology that's out there.

While they may not have known each other before this weekend together, having this chance

to share their common connection provides yet another chance to amplify the experience

of the Teacher At Sea program.

And inspiration for students around the country.

Hi, I'm Tina! And today I'll be showing you on how to make my infamous--GASP.

My infamous BTS Scoop Cake

Or as I like to call it:

"Tina Cake"

Not for that reason!

But because this dish is so easy to make, it's my go-to dish to almost every celebration I go to.

It's minimal, inexpensive, and it takes just as long as it takes for me to poop.

So let's jump right in!

So first what we wanna do is make the cake.

And by doing that we're just going to be following the exact instructions from the box itself.

And it doesn't matter what kind of brand you have; just as long as it's chocolate cake, and you'll be fine.

Now that we've got our cake baking, it's time to make our chocolate pudding!

And it's best to get the Jello packs that only need milk.

You put the milk and chocolate together and whisk away!

Just like how I whisked my ex-boyfriend away.

So when the cake is done, you wanna take it out to let it cool for about 30 or so minutes.

Just like how you would let your angry, jealous girlfriend cool down, you know what I'm saying?

Or your boyfriend. I don't judge.

So after the cake is all cooled down, you can start cutting it into squares or rectangles.

And finally, you can put all your ingredients into the bowl.

We'll first start the base with either pudding or whipped cream.

The reason why we're doing this is because we don't want the cake to be stuck at the bottom.

I don't like it when cake is stuck at the bottom cause you don't get everything.

So now we're gonna start layering with the cake.

Now the pudding.

And now the whipped cream.

Now you're gonna add the heath.

And now you're going to repeat until you reach the top of the bowl.

And the last layer you want to end on is the heath. Sprinkle a good amount right over the top.

And we're finished!

Serve it with a medium to large serving spoon.

Guests can just scoop however much they want when they get your cake.

Did you finish?

Yup, just finished!

Now go and impress your friends and family with your amazing cake! Or a room full of strangers!

Trump Wants Fast Decision On Comey Replacement - Here Are The 11 Candidates

Donald Trump said he expects to make a "fast decision" on a replacement for fired FBI Director

James Comey, perhaps before he departs the U.S. on May 19 for his first foreign trip

as president.

Trump said the candidates under consideration to lead the FBI - White House officials have

identified 11 of them so far - are "outstanding people."

He said most are "very well known" and of the "highest level."

As Bloomberg reports, the 11 candidates under consideration as a permanent replacement for

Comey:

SEN.

JOHN CORNYN

Cornyn is the No. 2 Senate Republican and a former Texas attorney general and state

Supreme Court justice.

He has been a member of the Senate GOP leadership team for a decade and serves on the Senate

Judiciary Committee.

In the aftermath of Comey's dismissal, Cornyn said Trump was "within his authority" to fire

him and said it would not affect the investigation of possible Russian ties to Trump's presidential

campaign.

REP.

TREY GOWDY

The South Carolina Republican is best known for leading the congressional inquiry into

the deadly attacks on a U.S. facility in Benghazi, Libya, a panel that oversaw a lengthy grilling

of Hillary Clinton in 2015.

A former federal prosecutor and state attorney, Gowdy was elected to Congress in the 2010

tea party wave and has focused on law enforcement issues.

He originally endorsed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio for president before backing Trump in

May 2016.

FORMER REP.

MIKE ROGERS

Rogers is the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

He served Michigan in Congress for more than a decade before stepping down in 2015.

Rogers worked for the FBI as a special agent based in Chicago in the 1990s and briefly

advised Trump's transition team on national security issues.

His name was floated as a possible replacement for then-FBI Director Robert Mueller in 2013,

and he received support from an association of FBI agents before President Barack Obama

chose Comey.

RAY KELLY

Kelly was commissioner of the New York City Police Department for more than a decade,

serving two mayors.

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, he created the first counterterrorism bureau of any municipal

police department and oversaw a drastic reduction in crime.

But Kelly also came under fire for his use of aggressive police tactics, including a

program that spied on Muslims and a dramatic spike in the use of stop-and-frisk, which

disproportionately affected non-white New Yorkers.

J. MICHAEL LUTTIG

Luttig, the general counsel for Boeing Corp., is viewed as a conservative legal powerhouse

from his tenure as a judge on the 4th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and his time as a Justice

Department lawyer.

He was considered for two U.S. Supreme Court vacancies that went to Chief Justice John

Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito.

Luttig clashed with the Bush White House on a prominent terror case, rebuking the administration

for its actions in the case involving "enemy combatant" Jose Padilla.

LARRY THOMPSON

A deputy attorney general under President George W. Bush, Thompson served as the department's

No. 2 from 2001 to 2003.

Among his most high-profile actions was allowing Syrian-born Canadian citizen Maher Arar to

be deported to Syria, where he was tortured, after being falsely named as a terrorist.

Thompson also served as U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia and held

several high-level positions at PepsiCo.

PAUL ABBATE

Abbate is a senior official at the FBI, currently responsible for the bureau's criminal and

cyber branch.

He previously led FBI field offices in Washington, one of the agency's largest, and in Detroit.

He's been deeply involved for years in FBI efforts to fight terrorism, serving in supervisory

roles in Iraq and Afghanistan and later overseeing FBI international terrorism investigations

as a section chief.

He's been with the FBI for more than 20 years, and is one of the FBI officials who interviewed

this week for the role of interim director.

ALICE FISHER

Currently a partner at the law firm Latham & Watkins specializing in white-collar criminal

and internal investigations, Fisher formerly served as assistant attorney general for the

Criminal Division of the Justice Department.

Fisher faced resistance from Democrats during her confirmation over her alleged participation

in discussions about detention policies at the Guantanamo Bay facility in Cuba.

She also served as deputy special counsel to the Senate special committee that investigated

President Bill Clinton's Whitewater scandal.

If selected, she would be the bureau's first female director.

ANDREW MCCABE

A Duke-educated lawyer, McCabe was named last year as the FBI's deputy director, the No.

2 position in the bureau, overseeing significant investigations and operations.

Since joining the FBI more than 20 years ago, he's held multiple leadership positions, including

overseeing the FBI's national security branch and its Washington field office.

McCabe became acting director after Comey was fired, but has shown a repeated willingness

to break from White House explanations of the ouster and its characterizations of the

Russia investigation.

MICHAEL GARCIA

A former New York prosecutor, Garcia has served as an associate judge on the New York Court

of Appeals � the state's highest court � since early 2016.

He served as the U.S. attorney in Manhattan from 2005 to 2008, and previously held high-level

positions in the Commerce Department, the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland

Security.

JOHN SUTHERS

A former U.S. attorney and Colorado attorney general, Suthers was elected mayor of Colorado

Springs in 2015.

He is widely respected among state law enforcement and many Colorado Democrats.

Suthers was inspired to become a prosecutor after he spent part of an internship in the

Colorado Springs district attorney's office watching the trial of a gang of soldiers convicted

of killing various citizens, including actor Kelsey Grammer's sister, during a crime spree

in the 1970s.

Four candidates - Texas Sen. John Cornyn, acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, attorney

Alice Fisher and judge Michael Garcia - have interviews scheduled Saturday.

Right now, John Cornyn is the front-runner at

the bookies (but marginally)...

The History of Yuktobania - Episode #12 - Stuff About Ace Combat - Duration: 7:19.

The Union of Yuktobanian Republics, also known as just Yuktobania, is one of Strangereal's

superpowers alongside the Osean Federation.

This nation occupies most of the continent of Verusa and it is bordered by the countries

of Verusa, Kaluga and Romny (which aren't depicted in the map), and by some other unknown nations.

Yuktobania was one of the key countries in the game Ace Combat 5, when they fought against

Osea during the Circum-Pacific War, and was a secondary nation in Ace Combat Zero and

Ace Combat 3D.

Like many other Strangereal nations, Yuktobania's history is shrouded in mysteries, but here's

what we know about Yuktobania:

The earliest mention about Yuktobania is in the 1980s when both Yuktobania and Osea were

in an arms race as part of the Strangereal Cold War.

In order to prevail during this conflict both countries had different strategies: Yuktobania

focused on the development of submarines and missiles while Osea focused on spacecraft.

It was during the 1980s that Yuktobanian Navy Admiral Leonov proposed the "Arsenal Ship

Project", the project that later gave birth to the Scinfaxi-class submarine.

In the year of 1985 there were tensions between Yuktobania and one of its neighbouring countries

over some territorial disputes.

This was also the same year that Dominic Zubov, who was actually Yuktobanian but later went

to Belka and became the leader of the Schwarze Squadron, joined the Yuktobanian Air Force

as a mercenary.

On the following year 1986, Yuktobania went to war against the country of Kaluga due to

disputes over the control of the Kalugan region of Tyumen.

While Yuktobania did manage to win the conflict, its armed forces suffered extremely heavy

casualties especially during the battle of Zhytomyr.

We know that Yuktobania's pilots, with the exception of Zubov, suffered from PTSD because of this war.

In 1987, Yuktobania entered in another war when they helped

quelling a coup d'état on the neighbouring Republic of Romny.

Dominic Zubov is also known to have fought in this conflict before leaving and going

to the Belkan Air Force.

Time went by and the next thing we know about Yuktobania is the official announcement regarding

the development of the Scinfaxi-class submarine that took place in conference in the Yuktobanian

capital of Cinigrad in 1991.

Osea quickly reacted to the Yuktobanian announcement and accused Yuktobania of copying the Dragonet-class

design, a class of submarines that had been developed by the Federation of Central Usea.

Tensions between Yuktobania and Osea continued to exist as part of the Strangereal Cold War

but the relationship between the two countries drastically changed in 1995 when Yuktobania

joined the Allied Forces during the Belkan War.

The reasons for Yuktobania joining the war are still unknown and details on its contributions

to the allied war effort are scarce, what we do know however is that Yuktobania did

send some squadrons and reconnaissance officers to the front lines.

One of those recon officers was the Major who Captain Bartlett fell in love with, and

who broke his heart.

Some Yuktobanian pilots also joined A World With No Boundaries.

The year after the war, 1996, Yuktobania and Osea signed the Yuktobanian peace treaty which

finally brought the Strangereal cold war to an end.

In the year of 1998 several Usean nations were working together on the construction

of the Stonehenge Turret Network in order to shoot down the incoming Ulysses asteroid.

While both Osea and Yuktobania did show interest in helping out with the project, they actually

were unable due to their commitment of rebuilding the regions that were destroyed during the Belkan War.

1998 was also the same year when the Belkan Ofnir Squadron joined the Yuktobanian Air

Force as an aggressor squadron with the goal of apparently improving Belkan-Yuktobanian relations.

In the next year, 1999, we had the Cinigrad art festival where a painting made by a former

Belkan Air Force pilot called "Demon Lord" was put on display and received much praise

for showing the "wretchedness of war and the venerability of peace".

From 1999 to 2010 Yuktobania worked together with Osea in space development and more specifically

helped Osea with the Arkbird to remove Ulysses fragments stuck in orbit, meanwhile sometime

between 2006 and 2010, Yuktobania struck a deal with Erusea for purchasing at least one

model of its advanced multirole aircraft X-02 Wyvern.

With that deal, Erusea would sell the X-02s to Yuktobania via the formerly South Belkan

and now North Osean Gründer Industries.

With Gründer as the middleman in this operation, Gründer would submit the planes to its cost-reducing

manufacturing process in which the number of parts of the aircraft would be reduced

without sacrificing the plane's strength or performance.

In the year of 2008, Yuktobania participated in the Strangereal G7 summit that was hosted

by Osea aboard the Arkbird and the countries there agreed to several pacifist policies

including bans on the use of nuclear weapons.

Coming now to the events that are directly related to Ace Combat 5, in early 2010 the

pacifist Yuktobanian prime minister was secretly removed from power by the Grey Men and secret

Belkan operations soon escalated tensions between Yuktobania and Osea culminating on

the start of the Circum-Pacific War on September 27 of 2010.

What happens after are the events covered in Ace Combat 5 and despite the whole conflict,

both Osea and Yuktobania came together by the end of the year after the Osean president

and the Yuktobanian prime minister met in Oured.

This concludes most of what we know about Yuktobania because after 2010 we only know

that the relationship between the two countries improved in terms of international cooperation.

One last detail about Yuktobania is that in the year of 2015, Yuktobanian spy satellites

managed to detect a giant unknown aircraft around southeast Estovakia, an aircraft that

was later identified as the P-1112 Aigaion heavy command cruiser.
