5 Tips to Turn Your Blog Into a Lead Generating Machine - Duration: 4:19.

Welcome back, and if you're new here, welcome to the best place to build income, influence

and impact for your business or brand online.

You're spending all this time each month creating quality blog content, but is it actually

doing what it's meant to do?

The end goal of your blogs and evergreen content should be building your list and making sales.

So today I'm going to give you my best tips for turning your blog into a lead generating

machine.

And if you hang around till the end, I've got a bonus guide that will walk you through

creating an opt-in offer to include in your blogs that will help you build your email

list.

Step 1: Create an Opt-In Offer or Content Upgrade for Each Blog or Series

The goal with your opt-in or content upgrade is to focus on providing as much clarity possible

on one specific task or strategy that's topical to your blog or series, so it's

easy for your audience to take action.

The focus of your opt-in should be the natural next steps following your blog, and it should

be easy to consume and implement.

If you're looking for more conversions outside of your blog posts, rotate through your opt-ins

along the side bar near your blog archives to catch the attention of new visitors.

Step 2: Show Your Products/Services in Action

Use your blog to address frequently asked questions you get about your products or services,

and better yet, show them in action.

This demystifies the buying process for readers because it allows you to build context around

a specific product or service and get creative without feeling too salesy.

Step 3: Link to Related Content

Before you publish each blog, comb through it and look for certain tips or points where

you could link to a related blog you previously wrote.

You can also include related posts in your side bar or at the bottom of each post to

encourage readers to stay on your blog longer in hopes they'll find something they want

to opt-in for.

Then focus on continually promoting and back linking to your blog content because this

tells Google that your content is good and should be prioritized.

You can even take this strategy a step further and encourage others to comment on and share

your series to further prioritize it within Google and other search engines.

Step 4: Publish Regularly

Consistency is the name of the game when it comes to running a successful online business,

and everything that goes into it – including your blog posts.

Readers will come to expect your new content on a certain date and time, and that's a

huge asset to you.

Keep in mind how easy it is to forget about someone or something if you haven't seen

or heard from them in weeks, or even months.

You don't want people feeling like that about your blog because the minute they lose

interest because of your inconsistency, it's extremely hard to get it back.

Step 5: Enlist Your List

Each time you publish a new blog post, take the time to craft a personalized email to

your current list and include the option to share the blog on social media within that

email.

Apply the same call to action format you would in your blog in your email to make sure your

subscribers know what to do once they've read it.

All it takes is one subscriber to share your blog post with their friends, and you've

tapped in to a new unchartered market of potential subscribers and customers.

(Dessa) For more than 18 months I've been preparing

for what I think is,

is the biggest, most ambitious show of my career,

my collaboration with the Minnesota Orchestra.

So I'll be onstage,

and there'll be like, 70-some musicians also onstage,

all of them virtuosic players.

It's been a year-and-a-half of excitement,

panic, enthusiasm,

and run-of-the-mill pedestrian stage fright.

♪ ♪

♪ usually it is And the air got a little rough ♪

♪ Took off the fuselage, an engine and both wings

♪ But I'm ready to work for this Just show me where to dig.♪

♪ And I'm ready to hurt for this I know exactly what this is

♪wings are broken but I feel no painI♪

(Dessa) The vocalists who will be joining me onstage, the fact

that all of them front their own their own pop outfits.

Aby Wolf just came back from a tour of the Czech Republic,

Matthew Santos just came in

from his own tour through the West Coast,

Cameron Kinghorn has his own project, Nooky Jones,

Ashley DuBose has done more televised appearances than anybody.

The fact that all of them said

we'll spend 2 weeks learning these tunes

and lend our voices to the project was a huge deal to me.

(Dessa) You know, every tour,

very often you scale it to budget.

So let's say you're playing in Prague for the first time,

so I'll call Aby and say, hey, can we do this song "Quinine" as a duo?

And then I'll call her back and say hey we're in Minnesota,

can we do it as a quartet, as a quintet?

And now it's with an entirely full orchestra,

so she's been this champ

about rearranging the vocals on songs ad nauseam.

(Aby) I've been singing with Dessa for about 10 years.

Many of the songs that she and I have done a million times together

had a very different feel

and also called for different harmonies.

So we really had to reapproach every song fresh.

Do we agree on a place to take a breath, sneak a breath in before that?

♪ We've been living

♪ To long to close

♪ I'm ready to let you go

♪ I'm ready

♪ Call off your ghost

♪ Oh oh

There's nowhere to take a breath, there's just nowhere to do it!

(Cameron Kinghorn) It's her music, she's leading this ship.

Not only is she like, taking control of everything,

it's like, she's very clear about what she wants,

but she does a really great job

of making us all feel

really good about ourselves in the process too,

which has been really cool.

Did you go up for that third run?

♪ I'm swingin' on my shadow

(Ashley DuBose) My voice is so different,

I'm used to doing like poppy

or R&B or soulful music.

That's been a challenge for me to make sure

that I feel like I'm bringing the right sound.

(Matthew Santos) Getting together with these monster vocalists,

it's been an amazing progression in that regard,

and I can't wait to actually rehearse

with the entire orchestra.

I know that we're finding the kind of sweet spot of

intersection between 2 different worlds of presentation.

She's vivacious, she's energetic,

she can maneuver in 5-inch heels.

This week is going to be like go time

to really solidify that relationship on the team.

This collaboration really is

the Minnesota Orchestra with Dessa,

coming together and creating

this whole concert experience with her songs

that are presented in a completely different light

with a completely different perspective.

It really is a coming together of 2 different art forms.

(Sarah Hicks) Today was sort of the culmination

of a year's worth of effort

of working with Andy, our arranger.

Dessa and I were able to-- we do 14 or 15 tunes,

most of them are the full orchestra,

some of them are more stripped down.

It added up to be exactly 999 pages of music.

It's just a bunch of notes on paper

until this morning, when it came alive.

(Dessa) ♪ While my knees still flex will my voice hold steady ♪

♪ Mind sharp spine straight chucks laced ready ♪

♪ I travel by kite travel light at touch down ♪

♪ I swallow the dice I make my own luck now ♪

♪ Zeno's arrow never

♪ Hits the mark it's always ♪

(Dessa) In my universe, for the most part has been word-driven,

performance-driven, like, what's the vibe?

What is the emotional center of the evening that I want to create,

and how do I want it to change from song to song?

Then trying to think like how can I communicate that?

Sometimes you can do that with a big swell of strings,

sometimes you can do that with a pause.

♪ but my money it's not much but my money♪

♪ my money my money's on on you ♪

I know that there's a lot of things that I have to do

to make this go right tomorrow.

a fellow Doomtree member, like, this is what all the time

and borrowed talent has been directed towards creating.

Part of the stage show is held together

by a series of monologues.

I talk a lot about science.

So I've always been kind of fascinated by

like, what's the difference between the mind and the brain.

The intersection between philosophy and science,

but told through the perspective of true love stories.

Now that I know where the love was in my brain... [laughter]

my plan was to remove it with a technique called neurofeedback.

So she's got one 3-D brain

where you talk about the anterior cingulate,

and then she's got this massive disco ball,

this amazing caudate nucleus which is just a phenomenal piece of art

that represents so many things.

♪ I didn't come looking for love ♪

♪ I come here every night to work ♪

♪ And you can grab an axe man or you can step aside ♪

(Dessa) Since my let's say early '20s,

I think I had a vision

of the kind of art that I wanted to make.

I'm finally on the stages and joined by the collaborators

that allow me to really swing for the fences,

and that feels good.

Kendrick Lamar Will Be Featured On The Game's Final Album - Duration: 1:13.

Hey guys for Complex News, I'm Natasha Martinez.

The Game has been busy at work on what he calls his final project, West Side Story.

Now thanks to an Instagram post late last night, fans know at least one of the features

that will be on it.

The Game posted a photo with Kendrick Lamar saying he's been vibing with K dot on West

Side Story and that they were heading to the studio to start his last album.

This potential collab wouldn't be the first for these Compton rappers as Kendrick and

Game shared bars on songs such as "The City", and "On Me".

The update comes after Game praised Kendrick Lamar's top selling album 'Damn' earlier

in May, saying he was "beyond motivated" and "glad real rap still exist[s]" .He

also mentioned more work with Dr. Dre.

As far as more info on Westside story, whatever info fans have for now comes from Game's social

media posts, and from the looks of it he's pulling in A listers for his final project.

There is no release date for Westside Story and he initially announced it would be his

final album in December of last year during a stop in Russia on his 1992 tour.

The title is likely an homage to one of his first singles that was also named Westside

Story after the Documentary.

for those of you who don't know what a spinner is,

it's basically a plastic thingy with some ball bearings

So, you put the thingy between your fingers,

and just spin it... and VOILA! (yep, it's french)

Actually, it's pretty limited since

the only thing it can do is... spin.

It's also supposed to be a tool for stress relief

but PFFFFFFF who cares???

Just look how cool and badass these things are!

And they come in pretty cool shapes and sizes!

Look at this one, it's a BATARANG!!

The only thing similar to these spinners I can think of is

BEYBLADE

Do you remember Beyblade?

The spinning tops?

Me and my friends used to play with them during school breaks.

Mine was pretty basic since I didn't have the money to buy a better one,

but, this guy who was 1 year older than me,

had one with a thing attached to it

I don't know what the f*ck it was, but

it made the f*cking beyblade sparkle when hitting something

and that was like:

"WOOO DUDE!!

YOUR BAYBLADE IS ON FIRE!!

YOUR DICK MUST BE HUUUUUUUUGE!!"

Okay... I might be exaggerating.

Not on fire, just... sparkling.

I think the spinner is a fun and innovative way to control your stress level.

Nowadays, the world is going thru a fast-paced phase which is obviously affecting peoples' lives

2017's Smallest Hearing Aids - Duration: 6:14.

Okay so today we're going to talk about

the smallest receiver in the ear hearing

aids on the market. So what we have in

front of us is the Widex Unique Passion,

the Phonak Audeo B-10,

the Unitron Moxi Now and finally the Signia Ace Primax.

They are all size 10 hearing aids and

easily the smallest hearing aids on the

market. So let's have a closer look at

the Widex, so this is the Widex Passion,

and this is based on the Unique chip. It

does take a size 10 battery.

with the receiver coming down, speaker

unit, with the rubber dome. This is

Widex's smallest receiver in the ear hearing aid.

The Phonak Audeo B and this is their size 10 model.

Again, size 10 and battery.

Biggest difference with that compared to

the Widex is the button at the back. Now

that button can act like a volume

control, program control or a bit of both.

Thin wire coming down connecting to the

speaker with the rubber dome.

The next is the Unitron Moxi Now and

this one is quite small.

Size 10 battery, qith a battery housed in

there already.

With that thin wire coming down, with

the speaker on the end.

Finally we have the Signia ACE Primax.

Similar to the Phonak,

with the button at the end which can act like

a program control only.

Same size 10 battery,

and a receive a wire coming down,

with the rubber dome on the end.

So here we've got a closer look of the

four devices on the model. As you can see

the Unitron is the smallest of the 4,

with the Signia Ace Primax coming in a

close second. The Widex and the Phonak

look quite similar in size but the

Phonak does look a fraction longer,

mainly due to the program button located

at the top.

All 4 hearing aids take a size 10

battery, we would expect roughly 4

days out of each battery. The Widex,

Phonak and the Unitron are all wireless

devices. That means the hearing aids are

sharing information regarding

directionality and noise reduction.

However the Signia Ace is a non-wireless

device, which means that both hearing

aids act independently. The button on the

Phonak can act as a volume or a program

control since it is a wireless device

changing the programming or volume on

one hearing aid will also change the

other. On the Signia the button can only

act as a program control. The Widex

Phonak and Unitron are bluetooth

compatible, via the use of a streamer

accessory. The accessory allows you to

stream phone calls and media to the

hearing aids. Again since the Signia Ace

is a non wireless device, it is not

compatible with a Bluetooth accessory.

You can however through the use of a

Signia TouchControl app, make volume and

program adjustments via the use of a

smartphone. The app works by emitting an

audible chirping sound which the hearing

aids respond to, in order to make the

necessary adjustments. Finally, all 4

hearing aids are available at all price

points, from entry to the premium level.

In terms of fitting range we can fit

most hearing losses, however it's best to

check with your clinician to confirm

whether the device is suitable for your

hearing loss.
