Waching daily May 16 2017

I went to my first march on Washington 48 years ago in 1969 in the moratorium march

against the war.

And what made that significant was that about fifteen thousand people from my campus went

and we crossed the country in motorcoaches and in school buses and slept on church basements

and the whole thing.

All of those rugged things that one is supposed to do when protesting.

An important aspect of the fact that we all went to Washington to march against the war

was that we sorta went in secret.

Nobody fessed up to their parents before they left because you don't want mom and dad

saying, "No, you can't do this."

So, after all, we were young adults.

We were out on our own.

So we went.

When we came back, of course, the guilt was starting to get to us so we better fess up

to mom and dad that we've been to the to the March in Washington.

And so a group of us that had traveled together, who lived together in my residence hall floor,

we got together in one room and we decided to make the calls all together as a group

from one telephone.

And some parents were pretty cool with it.

Some parents, you know, admonished us not to do anything that foolish again.

But one parent's results or response was really significant to me and I'll never forget

it.

And it was one of my best friends, talking on the phone and his face went kind of ashen.

When he hung up the phone, we said "What happened?"

And he said, "My dad just told me that I'm no longer his son."

When I called, when I made my call - I made my call the last of the calls that were being

made.

And my dad picked up the phone and I ask if mom were home and he said "Yes" and I

ask if she get on the extension and she did.

My dad says, "Yeah, what is it?"

And I said, "Well, I'm just getting back from Washington because I was at the March."

My dad says to my mom across the extension, "See there?

I told you that was that boy that we saw on television."

And they started to laugh because they anticipated that this was something that I would do.

So no admonishment, no rebukes, no lectures.

They just accepted it.

And later in life, I was my mother's sole caregiver for 18 years.

Into the process of having all of the conversations, she did not want to go with anything unclear

and I did not want to let her go with anything unclear.

I said to her one day, "Mom?

Now I think I know the answer to this but I just want to ask you because I want us to

talk about it.

If I'm wrong in what I'm what I'm thinking.

Now I know that you are a woman of faith.

You've always been, you've always exemplified that.

But let me ask you this - does my sexual orientation compromise your sense of faith?"

She looked at me as if I had lost my mind.

And she said, in pointing her finger, "You are my son."

And she was done with it.

And of course what she meant was that, as she had always exemplified, that the stewardship

of parenthood was more important to her than any religious dogma whatsoever.

And that she felt that that was her number one duty in terms of her children, was to

always be an accepting parent.

And she always was.

Well, the connection between my experience coming back from protesting the war and my

experience of doing an assessment of what my relationship had been with my mother and

my parents throughout my life was simply this: I benefited from the support that they offered

me.

Neither politics, like the war, nor religion like the faith issues, came between us.

We had a relationship and that relationship - that parent/child and later parent/adult

child relationship was never compromised by things that affect the lives of a lot of other

people and really make a difference in the emotional lives of LGBT people.

1960s: "I Was In The Process Of Falling In Love At First Sight." - Duration: 4:41.

One of my life experiences that I like to share dates back to my early teen years.

Back in the 1960s, I was 19 years old and returning to university for my second year.

At the time, I was recovering from a very unsettling first year.

I was dating my high school sweetheart still, and we had thought since she also had a very

disturbing first year that perhaps the solution to our problem was to get married and then

one of us would switch to the other's campus and we'd go through school and through life

together dealing with these issues at the same time with each other.

We mulled that over throughout that summer after freshman year.

And it got pretty late summer, so we decided instead that we return to our respective schools

and we'd give it one more try.

If things didn't work out, we would definitely get married the summer after sophomore year.

So I went back to school.

I was a little early because I was an orientation leader.

I'd moved into my residence hall and was settling in when I went down to meet my new resident

adviser.

Well, I knocked on the door and, you know, this man open the door.

And I looked at him and then all of a sudden, I had what I can best describe as a Disney

moment, because all of a sudden I had, you know, staffs of music floating through the

air and there were birds chirping and butterflies.

And I was in a process of falling in love at first sight.

This depth of passion, and just the spontaneousness of it, was overwhelming.

And so I realized in that moment that this was a confirmation of my true sexual orientation.

So, after spending some time with him, I went back to my room and immediately convened a

session with God.

I was very upset because, as you can imagine, in the Sixties, coming to the realization

that one is gay wasn't exactly the most cheerful news that one could discover about oneself.

I thought and I prayed and I ranted and raved and meditated - did everything in the course

of several hours in my room by myself.

And then my final resolution was this: I knew that, as an African American man, that I had

to make adjustments in my own head so that I could be proud of who I was.

I had to reject the majority social narrative that black men were lesser people.

And it occurred to me in sort of intersection that I had to do the same thing about being

gay.

The narrative about gay men was either that they were less then, masculine, or they were

feminine, or they were perverts or some other kind of social pariah.

And so I was feeling that I was on the receiving end of two challenges.

But I felt then, as I feel now, that to get through my life, I had to make changes in

my own head and reject that narrative and find a positive way to be proud of being black

and of being gay.

And it meant, of course that I had to renegotiate my relationship with my girlfriend, my fiance.

I did that as a function of being honest with her.

I loved her enough to tell her the truth.

I had made what I figured was a moral decision of accepting myself just as God had made me.

And I resolved to make that a positive experience, as opposed to the negative experience that

general society said it was.

You know, I am a black gay man, and I'm proud of every part of it.

ALERT: Democrats Are Getting ARRESTED… It's Finally Happening! - Duration: 2:54.

Major arrests are being made now that the FBI is free to pursue justice once again.

It's about time!

State Department employee Candace Claiborn — once a Clinton employee — has been arrested

and charged by the FBI for failing to disclose foreign contacts and making false statements

to federal investigators.

(via Department of Justice).

Claiborn was originally hired to work for the State Department in 1999 under Bill Clinton.

She allegedly started secretly working with foreign agents shortly after Hillary Clinton

was appointed Secretary of State.

Following in the footsteps of her boss Hillary Clinton, Claiborn traded influence for personal

gain.

Claiborn appeared before a judge last Wednesday and plead not guilty to all crimes, but a

mountain of evidence is piling up indicating otherwise.

As a condition of her Top Secret security clearance, Claiborn was required by law to

report all contact with anyone she suspected of having ties to a foreign government.

However, Claiborn failed to disclose her long-term contact with agents working on behalf of the

People's Republic of China who rewarded Claiborn with cash and gifts.

In exchange for the gifts, Claiborn was expected to provide access to classified information

to the Chinese agents — specifically information about upcoming trade deals.

Over the course of five years, Claiborn received tens of thousands of dollars in cash and gifts,

including money being wired directly to her bank account, an Apple iPhone and computer,

luxury vacations, an apartment and furniture, a monthly stipend, and much more.

The gifts were either given directly to Claiborn, or to an accomplice who has not yet been identified.

Claiborn was caught lying to the FBI as well as instructing her co-conspirator to destroy

any evidence of their relationship with the Chinese.

Claiborn attempted to mislead the FBI investigators by claiming that the Chinese agents were spies

working against her.

In charging Claiborn, the Justice Department, led by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is

attempting to send a warning to other government employees not to abuse the trust granted to

them by the American people.

Corrupt bureaucrats are finally being put on notice, thanks to President Trump's insistence

that we restore confidence in our system.

If Claiborn is found guilty, she will face up to 25 years behind bars.

There's no telling where else this trail may lead — perhaps to even more Democrats

who have lived the high life on their Clinton connection for years.

Well, it's reckoning time, and corruption will no longer be tolerated.

Do you think this arrest is just the beginning?

Please share this news and tell us what you think!

C'est 'That's What I Like' de Bruno Mars. J'aime pas du tout Bruno Mars.

Par contre j'aime 'Uptown Funk', mais ça c'est que parce que ça jouait tout le temps en France quand je faisais mon stage à Paris, donc ça me rappelle de cette période

Harry Styles, 'Sign of the Times', j'aime beaucoup celle-là aussi

Et l'autre jour j'ai écouté quasiment tout son album

Pour ce qui déteste One Direction, je vous dis que son album n'est pas du tout le genre de musique que One Direction faisait, donc vous pourriez peut-être bien aimer.

Moi j'aime bien.

Ensuite, il ya 'Your Love' de Little Mix

*mon copain m'appelle*

'Your Love' de Little Mix.

Ça s'appelle 'I See You' de Mika.

Allez, ciao !

Racism At A Gay Bar: "It Was Shocking. It Was Hurtful. I Teared Up Right There." - Duration: 3:39.

I did have some experiences from later in life that were significant to me.

One happened about 20 years ago in the late nineties.

I was in my mid-forties.

I was at home.

And at the time I was living in the south Chicago suburbs.

And I had a bar in one of the towns that was a gay bar that served a huge swath of the

south suburbs.

But it was our community home.

It was very diverse.

It crossed racial lines, class, gender lines, both men and women were part of this.

And these were people that I knew.

I happened to be the only black person in the circle of about six guys.

The story was about something.

I don't exactly remember what the story was about.

But I remember that all of a sudden, there was a racial reference in response to one

of the guys who were standing in the circle.

And he said to me that he and his partner were not attracted to "the dinge".

At first, I didn't believe what I was hearing and I had to really think through exactly

what he meant.

And it occurred to me that "the dinge" is that is actually a UK slang term for people

of color.

I was just surprised that I was not just another person, another member of the community, of

our family circle to him, and that, in fact, even after this long association, race still

made a difference.

So it was shocking.

It was hurtful.

I teared up right there.

I didn't break down and boo-hoo but it just struck me as so very sad.

One of the guys came to my defense and told him that he was unbelievably offensive and

had offended everybody, and that what he said was not appropriate.

And I appreciated that support because I was unable to respond because I truly was stymied

by this situation.

It was the loss of a friend.

But as I recall later on, his partner was not there in the circle, did come apologize

to me later.

So that was gratifying.

When someone who is not an African American man says to me, "I'm not into black guys"

or "I'm not into the 'dinge'", that person is saying, "I don't see you as an

individual.

I see you through the prisms of my racial training, my racial prejudices."

And you cease to be an individual but you're a part of that.

So there's no basis for personal relationship anyway.

SoCal Surf Culture - Duration: 16:01.

The average teen spends nearly seven hours consuming media technology a day.

However I am not your average teen.

My name is Trevor Goodman.

Growing up in Southern California I've devoted my young life to waking up at the

crack of dawn, seeking for a thrill.

A thrill.

Ha, man do I love a thrill.

My name is Jager Schmidt, and my whole life I've searched for adventure.

I have a growing passion and love for the beauty of the ocean.

Just over the course my life I've witnessed surf culture change substantially before my

eyes.

With the advancement of technology on all spectrums.

Surfing has grown from a small coastal community, into a wide spread phenomenon.

Over the last few months we've gotten chance to interview some of the biggest name in the game.

Mr. Stecyk, we're here at Hurley to see you and Punker Pat.

We had the unique to go to Hurley headquarters Costa Mesa, California to meet with the

legendary Craig Stecyck.

For those that don't know about Craig, he is basically the founding member of the infamous

Dogtown and Z-Boys that sprung up in Venice, California in the 70s.

One of the most iconic names in skate culture So Mr. Stecyk, you are the Dogtown correct?

Well I'm what's left of one of them.

After meeting with Craig, he was nice enough to give us some insight into his life from his

perspective.

My favorite time of the day is when I wake up and I don't know where I am and I don't know who

I am and I don't know what I am doing.

When you're sitting there deciding who and what you are, you know there's no chance for

romance, you can do whatever it is you want.

I grew up at the end of the American continent, right where Route 66 ran into the biggest

body of water in the world.

It was a great place to learn from.

It's moody, it's capricious, it's a great metaphor for life.

You get what you put in it.

If you're ready for anything, if you're open to anything, it will come to you.

He's not a socializer, he's an actualizer.

He mixes his media, recombines, he invents, innovates challenges, provokes, he

respires.

It's not about creating a new culture or being a slave to an old one.

It's about doing it your own way.

Making it different, changing it, advancing it, higher, faster, tighter.

Craig Stecyk told us that he first encountered Pat Towersey, otherwise known as Punker Pat,

when he was an outrageous young Hellion, bashing his way through the ranks of competitive

surfing.

Towersey always possessed savvy and genuine style which hinted of his being a descendant of

prominent Newport Settlers.

Punker has matured into an Experienced and all-round waterman who is noted for his

leadership in environmental and social causes.

And today we were lucky enough to get a full tour of the Hurley Headquarters from the man

himself.

Employee store, it's busy this time of year so you get a lot of people coming in here.

This is the printing press and you'll see that.

Thats kind of like our art vessel and Craig Stecyk set that up And then they got JP and

Dakota and Max.

A bunch of guys in the art department sort of driving that.

Next we got the rare opportunity to take a look inside of John John Florence's world.

We built this whole room out for a photo shoot that we did with John John.

The idea was to show into the mind of John John and so it kinda gets in all the things

that John's into.

All the sailing stuff, nautical maps, ropes, and then it gets into photography.

This is Johns film storage fridge in his darkroom.

These are Johns favorite cameras.

I'd say I use this one the most.

These are enlargers for actually shooting photography, and actually these are owned by

Craig Stecyk right here and I think JP maybe owns one of them.

This is sort of like if you were in his mind or at his house, this is what it would look like.

John has a tight-knit group of friends and family living on the north shore of Oahu also known

as paradise.

And then over on the side of that he's been flying some planes and doing that.

I started my pilot's license long before I had my driver's license.

so John was a world class surfer and could fly before he could drive.

We had an incredible experience at Hurley.

We got to see inside the life and the mind of John John Florence.

We got to hangout with Pat Towersey.

And we were able to meet the legendary Craig Stecyk III.

Pat even took us into Bob Hurley shaping room.

And then Trevor and I got to witness some surfboard shaping ourselves.

The world of surf culture and technology is evolving day-to-day.

We really wanted to get some insight and a look on the guys behind the curtain.

We've already met a few innovators, but that wasn't enough.

We wanted to know who's actually shaping the culture.

No pun intended.

Well, we met up with one of them.

Dan Cobley is a very well-respected South Bay native known for his high-performance

customizable boards.

Let's go check out how he does it.

Welcome to the shaping room of Dan Cobley.

The surfboards they start we get blanks, they're brought in, they are already molded up.

The blank companies put the wood in for us so they make different sizes, like you'll have a

longboard blank.

And then there's the laminating.

So this is what a surf board is made out of.

That foam that you saw.

Then we just cover it in fiberglass cloth and resin.

So all these boards are done in house.

So you could see like here's one that I've made, like these are some Hap Jacobs boards.

There's other guys that get there boards done here also.

Don KadowakI John Lessing, Mike um whatever his name is.

This guy is actually one of the product designers for taco bell.

Oh thats so funny.

Its really funny, yeah.

It's amazing what kind of surfers are out there.

You can edit right?

It looks like a surfboard, huh?

After being behind the scenes, we wanted to move to the fore front of surfing, and what

better way to do it than talk to one of the top big wave surfers on planet earth.

Maui native, Ian Walsh, has been tackling massive waves around the world since before he was a

teenager.

From about the time he could walk, Walsh was in the ocean.

At age 19, he was runner-up at the Billabongs 30th award ceremony, after riding a 68 foot

beast at Jaws.

And he won numerous other nominations to follow.

But for Walsh, none of that mattered.

He was always chasing the waves for himself, nothing else but himself.

So we went to the Red Bull Media House premiere of Ian's new film Distance between Dreams.

The party was held at Roland Sands Design, who's one of the biggest motorcycle builders on

the planet, and coincidentally is friends with Ian.

While we were there, we got the chance to sit down with the living legend himself.

Ian Walsh.

The closest thing I've had to like lights out was being in a conscious state of mind swimming

as hard as I could to break to the surface, this huge black cloud it seemed is what I was

looking at.

It was like the darkest black I could ever see and normally all I would be able to see is just

white like a cloud because of the white wash.

Right then that's when my legs and arms stopped working and I was in like full swim mode, like

kick, telling yourself kick and swim, kick and swim, and your brain shuts down the rest of

your body to conserve oxygen for your brain.

So like consciously being able to know that I want to use my legs but I don't have the

ability to use my legs anymore because my brain is now shutting down the rest of my body.

I've been trying to avoid that for the last thirteen years.

Yeah, so what do you got going on tonight?

Tonight we brought my new film distance between dreams that we just came

out with, which is a film that's a first person perspective into

our world of big wave surfing and everything that it entails and showing a lot more of like

the whole package rather than just showing the good days and the good waves actually showing

like everything that goes into it and getting there and what it takes to be on those days.

Let's check it out.

That's it.

It's game on now.

You were really good.

Thank you.

Pleasure.

Thanks for having us here.

Thanks for having us.

From the guys who started the movement, to the ones on the move, next up wanted to find a

pathway to encapsulate all this and put it into a film.

We couldn't think of a better way to do this, then sit down and talk with the director of

the 2015 Surfer Poll Awards Movie of the Year.

The director of View from a Blue Moon, Blake Vincent Kueny, has always had a deep passion for

filmmaking and a keen eye for story.

'VIEW FROM A BLUE MOON' BLAKE'S LARGEST RELEASE TO DATE, IS WIDELY CONSIDERED THE

'BEST SURF FILM EVER MADE.'

Blakes film changed the game drastically on just about every level.

From innovative technology to action-packed, cinematic film making.

So we sat down with this rising legend.

It's pretty insane considering we set out just to make it for us, you know, like this a movie

sort of for us, kinda by us thing.

And then it kind of spread its wings And we just stayed true to that throughout the whole thing.

In that process it was like, no, what is it supposed to express, and your like, ugh, my minds

doing backflips, and you know, you figure it out through the process.

And the quality of its amazing.

Oh yeah, you guys like set the standard so high for anyone else, yeah.

Definitely and I think, you know once we understood what the camera could do, we could start

manipulating it.

So we put it on you know the Shotover system, a Movi gimble, drones, all that sort of stuff

and a full size helicopter.

And it was like, when we really started having so much time with the technology, you know we're

like, oh we can do this, we can do that.

It's that time that allows you too manipulate the technology that's there, which is kind of

the beauty of it.

Where as, I've been thrown in situations in the past few months where I don't know what

I'm doing, and it's like I need help and want to learn this process, and I think no matter

what, the coolest thing about filmmaking is that you're always using cameras and trying to

document a story or tell the story.

There's always an objective and it's crazy where the process takes you.

After meeting with these pioneers, seeing the equiptment, we wanted to learn a little more

about the tools that make them successful so we went over to Roland Sands Designs and got a

good lesson on some power tools.

We learned how to cut

sand

chop

We learned how to saw

grind

bend

finish

If we learned anythig

from this adventure, we now know that success is measured by the amount of energy you put into

your dreams.

Everyone that we met along the way was just like us, but a few steps ahead.

We now follow in their footsteps with an immeasurable amount of guidance.

A thought provoking channel into the uncertain realm of what we call adventure.

We notice that all though these guys are super famous and set the world's standards, that they

are just like us, just as susceptible to accidents and danger, and just as cautious in

the world of extreme sport.

They're just a little more advanced, and have a bit more history then we do, but we are

just beginning and thanks to them we have a solid platform to stand up on.

And someday, we'll be just like them, maybe sooner than later.

Dictionary Makes Gay Teen Feel Less Alone - Duration: 3:49.

One of the significant characterizations of the period that I spent in high school in

the mid-60s - from '63 to '67 was that one day in one of our classes, the word "homosexual"

came up.

Most of us didn't know what it meant but we were kind of curious about it.

I suppose the teacher gave some cursory definition or whatever.

I carried the word with me and I wanted to find out more about this thing.

There was nothing that I could find at either of my high school libraries.

But we happen to have an old Andrew Carnegie library in town, and like all libraries in

that period, it had two resources that were very important.

One was the unabridged dictionary that's always open on top of the stacks.

And the other was the Encyclopedia Britannica.

So I went to the unabridged dictionary, and I looked this word up.

And it occurs to me as I'm telling you this story that somehow when we actually heard

the word, we also got the message that this wasn't something we could just generally ask

about.

So I didn't ask an adult about it or whatever.

I knew that this was something I had to keep to myself as I was looking for it.

So I found the word "homosexual," read the definition and all.

But what really stuck out with me was that this page of the dictionary was smudged.

So I wasn't the first nor the only person who ever looked this word up.

And that left some impact.

I was like, "Wow.

There are other people who wondered about this?"

And I went to the Britannica.

Same thing.

The entry was smudged.

So, there are people out there somewhere that I didn't know, that I didn't see, that I wasn't

conversing with, who were looking up this word.

And that sort of sums up the experience of being a gay adolescent at that time.

You're searching for something that's not part of the general conversation, where there

are no places that you can go to deal with it.

You get the sense that it's bad and that you need to keep it secret.

But you gotta search for it.

And then find that you're not the only one, in fact.

Somebody else is searching for it, too.

It made me feel, well, it made me feel sad because even recognizing that there were other

people out there, there was no connection to them.

There was no way that I could find out if there were another 15 or 16 year-old boy who

was looking up this word and talk to him about it.

And it reinforced the idea that it must be something wrong or else people would talk

about it openly.

So, that's how that made me feel.

So, I got the negative values associated with homosexuality in looking for meaning.

How Right-Wing Propaganda Giant Is Taking Over TV - Duration: 6:07.

>> A TELEVISION CORPORATION KNOWN AS SINCLAIR IS PLANNING ON

ACQUIRING TRIBUNE MEDIA AND BECOMING ANOTHER HUGE MEDIA

CONGLOMERATE.

THERE ARE SOME RAMIFICATIONS ESPECIALLY WHEN

YOU CONSIDER THE FACT THAT THEY FORCE THE NETWORKS THEY WORK

WITH TO RUN THESE MUST RUN ADS.

THEY ARE VERY OBVIOUSLY

RIGHT-LEANING.

I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF DEMOCRATS WHO DID NOT

LIKE HILLARY, BUT THEY FELT THAT WAY DUE TO JUSTIFIABLE REASONS.

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BEING HISTORICALLY IN FAVOR OF SLAVERY

IS NOT ONE OF THE REASONS WHY PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO VOTE IN

FAVOR OF HILLARY.

>>THAT IS A PROPAGANDA LIE TO PEOPLE WHO ARE RIGHT-WING PUT

OUT THERE FOR THE PURPOSE OF DECEIVING YOU.

THEY ARE TALKING

ABOUT ANCIENT HISTORY WHEN THE PARTIES WERE REVERSED.

THIS WAS

UNDER ABRAHAM LINCOLN.

THAT IS WHAT ABRAHAM LINCOLN FOUGHT

AGAINST THE CONFEDERACY AND THEIR SLAVES.

THEY DON'T TELL

YOU IS IN 1964 BECAUSE OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT AND THE VOTING

RIGHTS ACT THE PARTIES SWITCHED AND THE REPUBLICANS DID THE

SOUTHERN STRATEGY TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE RACIST VOTERS IN THE

SOUTH TO VOTE FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

THAT'S WHAT THE

REPUBLICANS DID UNDER RICHARD NIXON.

WHEN SINCLAIR RUNS THOSE

ADS THEY SAY NOT ONLY ARE WE REPUBLICAN RIGHT-WINGERS, WE ARE

INTENDING TO DECEIVE YOU BY PRETENDING THE DEMOCRATS OF

TODAY ARE IN FAVOR OF SLAVERY AND THE REPUBLICANS ARE AGAINST

IT WHEN IN REALITY REPUBLICANS JUST STRIPPED AWAY THE SAME

PROTECTIONS OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT TODAY.

THEY ARE THE RACIST

PARTY.

AND NOW THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE MORE TV STATIONS TO DO THAT

WITH.

>>AND THAT IS ONE OF THE ISSUES WITH CONGLOMERATES.

IF YOU HAVE

ONE CORPORATION OR A HANDFUL OF CORPORATIONS TAKING COMPLETE

CONTROL OF THE CONTENT YOU SEE IN LOCAL NEWS OR NEWS ON A

NATIONAL LEVEL YOU WILL HAVE A PROBLEM.

YOU WILL HAVE A CERTAIN

SLANT, POLITICAL BIAS, AND THAT IS WHAT WE ARE EXPERIENCING

RIGHT NOW.

LET ME GIVE YOU MORE DETAILS.

IT WASN'T JUST THE

HILLARY AD, SINCE NOVEMBER 2015 SINCLAIR RAN A DAILY SEGMENT

CALLED ñ IT HAS TO DO WITH TERRORISM.

IT UPDATES ON

TERRORISM RELATED NEWS AROUND THE WORLD.

CLASSIC FEAR

MONGERING.

THEY ARE PROPOSING AN ACQUISITION OF TRIBUNE MEDIA

WHICH WOULD ADD 42 STATIONS TO SINCLAIR'S 173.

STATIONS WOULD

REACH MORE THAN 70% OF THE NATION'S HOUSEHOLDS INCLUDING

THE LARGEST MARKETS.

THAT INCLUDES NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES,

THE BIGGEST MARKETS RIGHT NOW.

SO THEY ARE CONCERNED THEY ARE

GOING TO FACE RETALIATION IF THEY DON'T RUN THESE MUST RUN

ADS THEY DON'T AGREE WITH BECAUSE THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY

POLITICALLY BIASED.

TO BE FAIR TO KOMO NEWS THEY ARE NOT

INTERESTED IN REPORTING FOR POLITICAL BIAS.

THE JOURNALIST

THAT WORK THERE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE REPUTATION AND

CREDIBILITY IF THESE ADS RUN ON THEIR NETWORK OR STATION.

>> CAN YOU IMAGINE IF A MEDIA ORGANIZATION PUT OUT ADS SAYING

REPUBLICANS ARE THE PROSLAVERY PARTY.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN?

LIBERAL MEDIA BIAS, WE KNEW IT.

INSTEAD THEY REVERSE THE TRUTH AND SAY THE DEMOCRATS OTHER

PROSLAVERY PARTY.

>>BY THE WAY THEY DO RANT AGAINST THE LIBERAL MEDIA.

HERE IS THE HEAD OF SINCLAIR BROADCAST GROUP TALKING

ABOUT FAKE MEDIA.

THIS IS ONE OF THE MUST RUN ADS.

>>HI, I AM SCOTT LIVINGSTON VICE PRESIDENT OF NEWS FOR THIS

TELEVISION STATION.

WE KNOW OUR GREATEST RESPONSIBILITY IS

SERVING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES.

I AM PROUD OF THE JOURNALISM THAT

THE STATION PRODUCES.

BUT I'M SURE YOU KNOW ABOUT THE

TROUBLING TREND OF IRRESPONSIBLE AND ONE-SIDED NEWS STORIES

PLAGUING OUR COUNTRY.

THE SHARING OF BIAS AND FALSE NEWS

HAS BECOME ALL TOO COMMON ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

MORE ALARMING,

NATIONAL MEDIA OUTLETS ARE PUBLISHING THESE FAKE NEWS

STORIES WITHOUT FACT CHECKING.

UNFORTUNATELY SOME MEMBERS OF

THE NATIONAL MEDIA ARE USING THEIR PLATFORMS TO PUSH THEIR

OWN PERSONAL BIAS AND AGENDA TO CONTROLLING EXACTLY WHAT

PEOPLE THINK.

>> IF THAT IS A PROJECTION I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.

>>IF GEORGE ORWELL SAW THAT HE WOULD SCREAM I TOLD YOU.

AS THEY

DO PROPAGANDA OVER AND OVER AGAIN ON SINCLAIR, THEY DO

ANOTHER PIECE OF PROPAGANDA TO TELL YOU THE REST OF THE MEDIA

IS BIASED.

<...and they lived happily. The End>

<I always remember the day my little sister first arrived.>

<She was as fragile as spring snow,>

<and hiding behind Mom, she cast her eyes down as she glanced at me.>

From today, she's going to be your little sister.

Please take good care of her.

<I smile, and reply, "Sure!">

Hey there!

Nice to meet you, Big Brother.

N-Nice to meet you.

<Ever since, I haven't seen my little sister at all.>

I'll be right there!

Sagiri, I brought your meal.

I'll leave your meal right here. Make sure to eat up.

<Please come out of your room so I can see your face. - From, Your Brother>

I'll be going now!

All right!

<My name is Masamune Izumi. I'm a first year in high school.>

<I go to school, but I also work as a light novel author.>

I read your newest release! <I go to school, but I also work as a light novel author.>

Hey! Carry that a bit more carefully! There's still a bit left!

Masamune Izumi. <My irritation that I'm still only a high school student.>

You're sharp as always. <i>Well, all sorts of stuff like that.</i>

<i>Now, the only family member left for me is my little step-sister.</i>

<i>From that incident a year ago,</i>

<i>my little sister shut herself in her room</i>

<i>and stopped communicating with everyone.</i>

"Come out of your room so I can see your face." That is my only wish.

[TERRIBLE NEWS] Masamune Izumi-sensei's autograph is too messy lolololol

Come on now, stuff like that happens all the time.

If you ask me, it's the price of fame.

I'm really not that famous, though.

Dissing someone like you, Mune-kun, isn't going to increase page views on a blog, either.

Tomoe, what you're saying is even worse.

Mune-kun, Mune-kun.

I was just looking at that post.

Isn't this the blog of the "sensei" who draws illustrations for your novels?

Eromanga-sensei's Doodling Blog "At the Tip of the Panties"

Wait, you're right. Eromanga-sensei's Doodling Blog "At the Tip of the Panties"

What is this guy doing? Eromanga-sensei's Doodling Blog "At the Tip of the Panties"

Eromanga-sensei sure disses you in a strangely happy fashion, don't you think?

The materials aren't here yet. These settings are hard to understand! He can write fast though (lol)

Mune-kun, did you do something to this person?

No! I think.

I mean, I haven't even met the guy yet.

Despite working together for three years?

My editor said she's never met this guy, either.

Apparently all the work is done over the internet.

A work style of the modern era!

Maybe the guy found out I complained about the lewd pen name?

But you have to think about how I feel with each cover showing "Art: Eromanga".

Hey, Mune-kun. Eromanga-sensei is going to do live streaming later today.

Why don't you take a look?

I'm home!

A live streaming, huh?

Yeah, yeah, got it!

Wait just a second!

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got it, I got it!

Sagiri.

Please give me requests on what foods you want to eat. From, Your Brother.

All right, let's see what kind of person this is.

Ugh, sorry. Come to think, she did seem to be Eromanga-sensei's favorite.

Izumi-sensei is a really terrible person.

He mercilessly killed off such a cute girl like her.

I couldn't help it. It's a battle-focused series.

HmHm. So that's how to structure this...

<i>- Oh no, it's the dad! - Just a little bit more!</i>

It's off.

I guarded it. I guarded the nudity of my little sister.

<i>Nice to meet you, Big Brother.</i>

It's been a while, Big Brother.

<i>It was my first reunion with my little sister in a year.</i>

It's been a while.

Has it been like a year?

You're Eromanga-sensei?

That stream earlier...

That wasn't you?

I don't know anyone by that name.

I can't hear you.

I...

I don't know anyone by that name.

Then why did you pick a pen name like that?

Whoa!

Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch!

Let go!

Aren't you Eromanga-sensei, who drew illustrations for "Silverwolf of Reincarnation"?

I-I'm not...

That's amazing!

That stream earlier. That illustration was really really cute!

So many of your fans were watching, too, and you made them all happy.

You've been doing some amazing things.

Your...

Your illustrations are really erotic.

A-And Sagiri, actually, I-I...

No!

Go away!

Dammit. This is the beginning.

I'm sorry, Izumi-sensei.

I've been really busy lately!

I'm in charge of so many hit titles that I've only slept for two hours the past two nights!

What's this?

Project proposals for my new series. I have two titles, and they're finished to volume three.

Proposals?

This one is a superpower school battle series like the previous one.

And this is an adventure in an alternate universe.

Wait, these are complete manuscripts!

I thought that would be faster.

I told you the other day to submit something that conveys the plot in 10 seconds!

Did you?

Sheesh. You sure do write fast, if anything.

And this is the script for when it turns into an anime.

Are you dumb!?

Izumi-sensei, you sure changed from about a year ago.

Oh, I used to do this as an extension of my hobby.

I wrote stories that I thought were fun to read,

and it felt good to have everyone else read and enjoy them.

But now...

I need money.

It's a commonplace reason.

Isn't that okay, though?

That's an ordinary reason for someone who writes for a living.

If it leads to your motivation, I don't care what it is.

Oh, there's one more thing that will motivate you, Sensei.

<i>The "Silverwolf" series that ended the other day is the title that I'm known for right now.</i>

Autograph session - Author, Masamune Izumi <i>The "Silverwolf" series that ended the other day is the title that I'm known for right now.</i>

<i>And I don't think I'll continue the story.</i> Autograph session - Author, Masamune Izumi

<i>But!</i>

Sagiri!

<i>The guys I thought I'd never meet again were all waving at me.</i>

Congrats "Silverwolf of Reincarnation" completion Art: Eromanga <i>The guys I thought I'd never meet again were all waving at me.</i>

Congrats "Silverwolf of Reincarnation" completion Art: Eromanga

<i>And they all looked like they were saying, "See ya! Let's keep our spirits up!"</i> Congrats "Silverwolf of Reincarnation" completion Art: Eromanga

<i>That made me happy, so...</i>

Sagiri! Eromanga-sensei!

Listen to me!

I am Masamune Izumi, the author of "Silverwolf of Reincarnation"!

Really?

Big Brother, you're Masamune Izumi?

The author of "Silverwolf of Reincarnation"?

Y-Yeah, that's right.

And you're Eromanga-sensei, right?

I don't know anyone by that name.

I-Is that bad?

Of course it's not bad.

I finally met you!

Come in.

Didn't you hear me? I said, "Come in."

It's okay?

I-I said it's okay.

I-I see. All right.

- It's pretty tidy in here. - Yeah.

Good girl.

...Don't.

"Don't treat me like a child?"

Don't touch me.

Sit there.

"Touch me there"?

Sit! There!

Sure!

- So, why... - Huh?

Ouch!

Wh-Wh-What?

I only got closer because you were speaking softly!

Ahh...

Is this okay?

Y-Yeah. That will do.

How did you figure it out?

You mean, "How did you realize that I was the person behind Eromanga-sensei"?

Yup.

If not, I won't ever let you in.

When you were streaming, the meal I made for you was in the background.

You forgot to turn the camera off, and you started taking your clothes off...

Th-That's enough. I get it now.

So after all, Big Brother, you were "Masamune Izumi-sensei".

"After all"? You had noticed?

I was just thinking you had the same name.

For it to actually be the same person... What kind of probability is that?

To think that I've been living under the same roof as Eromanga-sensei.

I can't believe it.

And I don't know anyone by that name.

Um, this is so sudden, and I don't know what to do.

For starters, I'm sorry I made you draw all those lewd pictures!

I-Idiot!

Don't suddenly shout so loudly, idiot!

Y-You're the idiot! Lewd pervert! Even the other day...

<i>Your illustrations are really erotic.</i>

You can't just say that to a girl, s-so suddenly!

Do you have to get that angry?

I was talking about how I was requesting lewd illustrations from my little sister!

L-Lewd illustrations are my job, and I like it, so it's okay!

But you can't talk about stuff like that!

Why?

Th-That's...

Big Brother, you idiot! Dunce! Light-novel protagonist!

Fine. I won't say it again.

It's fine if you understand.

I-In the first place, Big Brother, you're all sorts of no good.

All sorts?

F-For instance...

That's right! You stay at home too much on days off!

Writing is my side job, so of course I'd be home working!

Even during summer vacation?

Right.

Back then, everything I wrote was getting turned down, so I pulled a lot of all-nighters.

So I forgot to make you meals.

The despair I felt when meals didn't arrive even after thumping the floor...

...do you know how that feels, Big Brother?

Come out of your room and eat.

I think I've lost if I leave my room!

Even if you say it like a famous quote, it's not cool.

By the way, I noticed you blog and stream stuff.

I-Is that bad?

It's not bad. But it was slightly unexpected.

You weren't the person I knew, and you were really lively.

What's wrong?

It's fun. Drawing art, and chatting with everyone while streaming.

I want to hear more stuff like that.

I hardly know anything about you.

The reason why I started drawing illustrations was because Mom taught me.

I was naturally doing nothing but drawing since I was little...

And I was a professional before I knew it.

Mom complimented me, saying it was amazing.

After Mom was gone,

I couldn't draw at all.

And I couldn't leave my room.

But one day, I saw someone streaming.

That person was happily drawing while chatting with everyone.

I was jealous.

I wanted to be like that, and tried it out.

I see.

It was really fun.

After seeing the illustrations, they give me their opinions, like "so cute", "so amazing".

They ask me to draw more.

I'm still in my room,

but I can play and chat with people all over the world like we're friends.

That, really, really makes my heart race.

I see. It's the same for me.

The reason I became an author

was because the people posting their novels on the internet seemed to have fun.

There was a time when I wrote novels on the web, too.

That was a great story! I drew a picture of the Hero Masamune! And, I got my first fan mail ever.

That made me so happy. I was really, really happy.

That's why I'm here right now.

The Adventures of Hero Masamune Congrats on the Completion!

I wonder if that person still reads my novels today. The Adventures of Hero Masamune Congrats on the Completion!

I see, so Izumi-sensei, you too...

"Sensei"?

Oh, n-nothing! I knew you wrote novels on the web!

I-I see. But to think I'd see the day where I could talk to you like this.

Big Brother, why are you bothering me?

You should just leave me alone.

I'm just...

Do I trouble you?

T-Trouble...

It's because you're my little sister.

And Mom asked me to take good care of you.

Is that your reason?

I still don't know what counts as taking good care of you.

So I just do things that I feel would count as such.

I don't get it at all.

Other than that, I'm just lonely, after all.

I'd like to eat meals together with my cute little sister.

And I want to take care of her, too.

Even a troublesome little sister like this, who hardly ever talks to you?

So you were aware of that.

I want us to get along.

Because we're family.

Are we a family?

Of course. We live together like this.

I see. I don't see it that way.

You don't call people merely living together a family.

I don't want to talk anymore. Get out, Big Brother.

Sure thing.

Sagiri.

What?

This illustration made me really happy.

Let's do our best together next time, too!

How stupid. That was something I only drew out of a sense of obligation.

Yes?

I'm Megumi Jinno!

Is Sagiri-chan here?

over 700,000 Palestinians were displaced

from their homeland by the Zionist

regime in 1947 to 1948 period for those

who dispute this account of the facts I

urge you to see a presentation of

Michael Peled a now Palestinian activist

but formerly an Israeli soldier himself

as well the son of one of the top

generals who was responsible in

beginning the the fledgling Zionist

State so to all of those who watch this

video I urge you to see what happened on

this day and to understand the plight of

these people and that we are not

standing for hatred we are not standing

for this unity we're standing for the

right of the oppressed peoples who are

suffering in an apartheid state as South

Africa once was and for all my

Palestinian brothers and sisters this is

for you

Geometry: Measurement of Angles (Level 6 of 9) | Examples III - Duration: 6:28.

Measurement of Angles Level 6 In this video we will go over more examples

involving parts of a degree and congruent angles.

Let's jump straight into the first example.

Find the measure of the angle formed by the hands of a clock at each time.

3:00 In this problem we are asked to determine

the measurement of an angle formed between the hour and minute hand at particular times.

Let's first draw a clock and determine the degree measurement between each hour.

A typical clock can be modeled by using a circle and dividing it into 12 equal slices

each slice corresponds to a single hour.

Since a revolution around a circle corresponds to a degree measurement of 360 degrees, each

slice will be equal to 30 degrees.

The number 12 is usually assigned to the top position on the circle and the numbers 1 through

11 are assigned to each subsequent boundary of each slice as we move clockwise around

the circle.

The minute hand starts at the border where the number 12 is assigned and this position

represents 0 minutes, this hand will move clockwise and will cover 5 minutes as it moves

border to border.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the hour hand will be located at the border of

each slice only when the minute hand is on the border where the number 12 is assigned.

As the minute hand moves clockwise, the hour hand will slowly start moving towards the

border of the next slice so we have to take this into account as we measure the angles

between the hands.

At 3:00 o'clock the minute hand is located at the border where the number 12 is assigned.

The hour hand is located at the border where hour 3 is assigned.

Since there are 3 slices between the hands, the angle measure would be 30 degrees times

3 or in this case 90 degrees.

Let's try the next example.

4:30 At 4:30 the minute hand is located at the

border where the number 6 is assigned.

Now, the hour hand will not be located at the border where the number 4 is assigned

since the minute hand is no longer located at the border where the number 12 is assigned.

When the minute hand is at 6, the hour hand is one half of the way from 4 to 5.

So taking this into consideration we see that there are 1 and a half slices between the hands,

so the angle formed is 30 plus 15 degrees, which simplifies to 45 degrees.

Alright let's try the next problem.

7:20 At 7:20 the minute hand is located at the

border where the number 4 is assigned.

The hour hand is going to be between 7 and 8.

Since the minute hand is one third of the way around the circle, the hour hand will

also be one third of the way between 7 and 8.

So there are 3 and a third slices between the hands, the angle formed will be 90 degrees

plus 10 degrees, which simplifies to 100 degrees.

Let's move along to the next example.

1:45 At 1:45 the minute hand is located at the

border where the number 9 is assigned and the hour hand is going to be located somewhere

between 1 and 2.

In this case the hour hand will be three quarters of the way between 1 and 2.

We will use the smallest angle between the hands.

So there are 4 and three quarter slices between the hands, the angle formed will be 120 degrees

plus 22.5 degrees, which simplifies to 142.5 degrees or 142 degrees 30 minutes.

Alright, let's end the video by going over a different type of problem.

In the diagram below, the measurement of angle DEG is 80 degrees, the measurement of angle

DEF is 50 degrees, the measurement of angle HJM is 120 degrees, and the measurement of

angle HJK is 90 degrees.

Draw a conclusion about angle FEG and angle KJM.

In this problem we are provided with two diagrams and are given the measurement of various angles,

we are asked to draw a conclusion about the relationship between 2 particular angles.

Let's start the problem by labeling all the given angles in the diagram this way we

can visually see the location and value of all the angles.

Angle DEG measures 80 degrees, and angle DEF measures 50 degrees,

angle HJM measures 120 degrees

and angle HJK measures 90 degrees, we can draw a small corner for this angle instead

of writing 90 degrees since it is a right angle.

Now we need to draw a conclusion between angle FEG and angle KJM.

Before we can do this, we need to know the measurement of both of these angles.

To determine the measurement of angle FEG we can take the measurement of angle DEG and

subtract the measurement of angle DEF doing that we obtain 30 degrees.

Similarly to determine the measurement of angle KJM we can take the measurement of angle

HJM and subtract the measurement of angle HJK doing that we also obtain 30 degrees.

Since both of these angles have the same measurement we can conclude that angle FEG is congruent

to angle KJM and this is our final answer.

Alright, in our next video we will go over more challenging examples

involving congruent angles with algebraic expressions.
