Hey, BookTube, it's Sylwia. I apologize

for the quality of my voice,. I have a

cold, but I decided I was gonna film

this weekend I'm trying to push through

in film. So today we're gonna do

another TBR unwrapping. I'm going to

unwrap this book in front of you because

I have decided that I no longer want to

read it. I know what this is, obviously,

it's gigantic, it's hard not to know what it is.

It's Under the Dome by Stephen

King. Ooo I read 234 pages of this and I

really enjoyed it.

I really like Stephen King's writing

style, however there's a lot of violence

against women in this and I just

couldn't justify reading it. Maybe

there's something else that

he's written with less misogyny in it

that you could recommend to me? I can't

read any of his horror so, I don't know,

it's just not worth it.

I'm going to unwrap the last book in my

historical fiction wrapping paper so you

will never see this wrapping paper again!

What will it be?

Oh! I was wondering when

this was gonna pop up. Did I just rip this

by accident? I'm sorry. So, I guess it's

time for me to read The Book Thief. In my

next video I will remind you that I'm

not very fond of World War II stories.

Everybody seems to love this one so

hopefully I will like it, too. This is the

last of my classics / literary

fiction wrapping paper. I know what this

is and I was going to put it off until

the very very end of my TBR unwrappings

but I've decided that I will not do that.

I need to push through and finally read it.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a beast.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is my second

favorite Disney movie and I've decided

that I need to read what it comes from,

you know, the story that influenced the

Disney movie. I've heard a lot about this.

I'm prepared. I just hope that it's

readable. I hope that I can actually get

through it. I'm not sure what the writing

style is like. Wish me luck! Then I'm

going to open two of my Monster High, is

it? wrapping paper. These are fantasy

books. So let's open this one.

Oh my goodness! This is gonna be an

easy read. LJ Smith's

The Secret Circle. It's actually two

books in one: The Initiation and The

Captive. So when The Secret Circle TV

show came out I loved it. For someone who

almost never reads any paranormal

fiction, I really like the idea of

witches and I love the idea of, like,

elements, and the ideas of, like, people

having different powers. I wonder if I

will like this. We'll see.

Let's open the other one.

What is this?

Oh, I know what this is. Okay.

The Orange Fairy Book by Andrew Lang.

I got this for a dollar. I must have been a

teenager when I bought this, like, this is

way before I was a reader it was just in

one of the Strand's- the Strand bookstore

in New York it has these little carts

outside of the store where everything's

a dollar and I bought this thinking that

I would read it someday. These are fairy

tales. I cannot imagine that I would ever

read this- oh, there's pictures. Let me show

you a picture. How nice is that?

Apparently there's a lot of these books

so there's like the Blue Fairy Book, the

Purple Fairy Book, blah, blah, blah. I just

really cannot imagine that I would read

this. If there's an audiobook, I will. If

there isn't, this is not gonna happen.

Then I'm going to unwrap two of these.

This is my random wrapping paper so this

could be any genre. I have no idea. So

let's open this one. This is hardcover.

What could this possibly be? Green? What is this? Oh!

It's another Emily Giffen book. Love the

One You're With.

Sigh. Okay, so I liked Something Borrowed when

I was in college. I didn't buy this. I got

this book for free. I have a lot of books

that I, like, just got for free in my TBR

pile. I have no idea what this is about. I

picked up the orange cover one of her

books recently and I had no interest in

it so it would have to really impress me

in the first chapter for me to really

read it. So this might not be happening.

We'll see. Let's open this one.

What is this?

Oh, is this Roomies?

I think this- yes! Okay!

So this one I'm actually very- I've been

looking forward to this. This is about I

think two girls are about to be college

roommates but they start talking online

before they move in together and they

start a friendship like that or

something? I'm very very excited to read

this. I've been looking forward to this

for a long time. I really love the cover.

I love illustrated covers and this is so

cute. So for some reason I picked out

really big books when I was putting this

pile together several days or weeks ago,

I don't even know, so I guess I'm

challenging myself to get rid of some

big books. Let's see what this one is.

These are also my random wrapping papers

so I don't know what genre these are.

What are you? Oh my God! Oh wow! I am so

not ready for this book. I really, really

want to like this. I'm gonna handle

this with care. I've heard mostly good

things about it.

I'm intimidated by this book and I'm

gonna be patient with it. I'm not

going to rush through it. I really, really

want to like this. I'm gonna be so

disappointed if I don't. Let's open this

enormous book. What is this one? Can't

imagine.

Oh I know what this is! Okay, so this

is two books in one. This is Obsidian and

Onyx. So I bought this in 2014 when

everybody was obsessed with Jennifer L

Armentrout. I did read the first chapter

of this once and it was ... not great ... sooo I

don't have very high hopes for this.

Let's open one of these! This one is

fantasy also and it's thin, thank

goodness What is this one? Oh! Okay.

Princess Academy by Shannon Hale. Did I

read something by Shannon Hale recently?

No. I didn't. Was that Goose Girl book

written by Shannon Hale? I don't know but

I'm reading this. And lastly I'm gonna

open two of my "most anticipated" books.

I'm very surprised about this one

because it's in, like, a manga shape, but I

don't remember having any more manga in

my most anticipated wrapping paper so I

want to see what this is.

Okay, so it's not manga. Oh my God I'm

gonna be so happy if this is Anne of

Green Gables but it's not it's probably

gonna be Secret Garden, right? No! Oh, I know

what this is! Oh, I see!

It is A Wind in the Door. I loved A

Wrinkle in Time, guys. I adore A Wrinkle

in Time. I've read it twice and both

times: phenomenal. Phenomenal book. So this

is the sequel. I don't know if I'm ready

but it's happening now. And lastly

another most anticipated book. What could

this beeee?

Pink? Is this manga? This is manga! Oh okay!

Oh, I'm so happy! I've been looking

forward to this.

Okay so Skip Beat! This is three volumes

in one, this is volumes 7, 8, and 9.

Awww fantastic! So I will be attempting to

read these books- oh! Not this one! This

one's done! I'm done with that one. So

these. These. And these. Wish me luck!

SONATA SDK demo movie - Duration: 14:16.

hello let me introduce you to the

network service development kit which we

are developing in scope of the Sonata

European research project. From a very

high level, Sonata proposes an integrated

NFV service platform consisting of a

Management and Orchestration or MANO

platform on one side, and a Service

Development Kit on the other side, so the

MANO platform is capable of deploying

virtualized network services on a

virtualized infrastructure and the SDK

,Service Development Kit, on the other

side is more to be seen as a

playground or sandbox we are a service

developer can try out any new network

services, can try out any updates or any

new features in there and gain

confidence about the correct

functionality before pushing it to the

service platform side where the service

will eventually be run in production. In

this demo we will highlight the several

features of this SDK environment and we

will showcase the different steps that

are involved when a service developer is

developing a service into this at the SDK

environment. You will see how

different steps including packaging the

service, emulating the service, together

with configuration, testing the

functionality and also do a performance

check of the service. These functions

are supported by the SDK environment and

are demonstrated with several graphical

interfaces and command-line tools that

can be used by the service developer.

After one or more iterations in the

development flow of this SDK environment,

the service developer should have

confidence that the service is working

as

expected and he or she can then create a

service package and push it out of the

SDK environment to the MANO platform

where the service can be deployed in

production. We want to highlight that the

whole SDK environment is

open-source and freely available to

download and install. We showcase here

these three depositories and also have

instructions on how to create a

virtual machine that installs this whole

SDK environment I want to showcase one

simple service now in this SDK

environment, other service examples will

follow and will be made available through

our GitHub page. The service shown here

consists out of an OpenFlow controller

connecting through a LAN network to an

OpenvSwitch and the switch has an

input and an output port where traffic

flows through. The SDK environment is

installed in a virtual machine that's

running here on VirtualBox and once the

virtual machine is booted and the

SDK environment started up we can

browse to the web interface of our

service editor. The editor requires you

to log in with your GitHub account. Now

for this demo I have set up a specific

demo Github account, and once I am

logged in, I will see that there's a

workspace available where different

example services are pre-loaded. I browse

now to the network server that consists

out of controller and an OpenvSwitch

and I have a look at the service graph

that we can draw with this editor and

indeed we see different VNF nodes,

different endpoints, and different links

between all those components so these

are indeed the direct connections between

the endpoints and the switch and the

LAN network.

We can also have a deeper look into

the actual JSON format that's being used

to describe the service and to compile

the service package so this is the same

package format that's used to send

service to the MANO platform and to the

emulator in the SDK environment. Now to

deploy this network service, I first need

to start the emulator with a predefined

infrastructure topology. In this example

I will load the topology consisting out

of two emulated datacenters connected by

a switch. I'll load this here with a script

there's more documentation available on

the GitHub repositories but this Python

scripts basically instructs the emulator to

startup the required virtual datacenters

and required virtual switches

that define the infrastructure where

this service can be deployed to. We have

a graphical dashboard or a web interface

of the emulator that shows indeed that

we have three nodes, so two data

center nodes connected with a one switch

node in the middle. So let's again have a

look on what has actually happened so we

have a service descriptor described here

on the left side. Two VNFs with two

endpoint that need to be deployed on an

emulated infrastructure consisting out

of two PoPs or two data centers

interconnected by a switch. Once that

the emulator is up and running and the

service graph is ready to be deployed, we

upload service packet from the editor to

the emulator, so what's happening now in

the background is that a customizable

placement algorithm that places the VNFs

and service endpoints onto the available

data centers in the emulator and next to

that it also installs the traffic flows

that direct the traffic from the

endpoints

through the VNFs, so these are the direct

links between the input and output

ports and the OvS switch connected to the controller via a LAN network.

This effectually implements service

function chaining into the emulator.

we get a message that shows that the

service has been successfully deployed

We can also check it in the

emulators dashboard

so after a refresh we see indeed that

the VNF and endpoints have been placed

on one of the emulated data centers, we

can also see that each of the VNF

interfaces assigned IP and MAC addresses. this information will now use

for our next checks on the

service. Up to now we have created

the descriptor and a service package

through the editor and deployed it on a

virtual infrastructure in the emulator.

Let's see now how we can test the

configuration of the service so if I

double-click on the OvS VNF node in the

dashboard I get a terminal that gives me

access inside the VNF and I execute

a command to see in the OvS switch in the VNF

it's actually connected to the controller

It appears not to be so , as you see it in the

terminal output, so so now I want to

configure the OvS VNF in this

services so its connected to the controller and

that it can forward traffic from one

port to the other port . In practice I

want to test a configuration script that

should also be used when the service

is deployed in production

so this configuration script needs as

input the IP addresses of the two

service endpoints and the IP address of the

controller. We find those back in the

emulator dashboard and we can fill them

in to our configuration script. Next we

have a command in the emulator that

allows us to execute this configuration

script inside a specific VNF so

we execute our script into the OvS VNF

which configures the OpenFlow entries and

in the switch and configures the

controller IP address so we check again

in the VNF terminal, we see now that the

controller is connected and we will

further check if we can indeed send

traffic from one port to the other

through the openvswitch, by accessing

one of the service end points and

pinging basically from one endpoint to

the other to make sure that traffic

flows through the Openvswitch from one port

to the other. We see indeed that a

ping traffic is being forwarded . So at

this stage in the demo we have shown how

to create a descriptor and package

of the service, deploy it in the emulator

test the configuration and the basic

functionality of our service.

as a final step I want to show you how

we can also automate functional tests of

the service and meanwhile, while those

tests are running and while test traffic

is being generated we can monitor

different metrics.

the actual description of which steps

that need to be executed and which

metrics that need to be monitored is

centralized in one specific yaml file.

this file is given as input to one of

the SDK tools. The parses the file,

execute the commands and tests

and meanwhile monitors specified metrics.

Every monitored metric in the SDK

environment is exported to a Prometheus

database and we also have a Grafana

framework that graphically displays the

monitored metrics on a web GUI. The tool parses

the file

executes the commands and generates a

specific stream of test traffic that

will load the VNFs in the service

in this case we monitor byte and

packet rate of different VNF interfaces

alongside CPU and memory usage of the

VNFs. So the functional test that

we are running is gradually increasing

traffic load and while it is doing that

the tool will do some statistical analysis of

the monitored metrics it will calculate

the average and the confidence interval

and plot these values on the graph you

see appearing in the smaller window

once of the functional test is finished,

we see on one hand in the Grafana

figures a time line and see how each

metric evolves in function of the time

on the smaller plot window we see the

result of the analysis and it shows us

an indication of the CPU usage that was

needed to process the packet rate that

was being given as input to either one

of the two deployed VNFs

so if we have a closer look at the end

of the test

to the figures we see that both the OvS VNF

and the controller VNF have a

significant amount of CPU load, this is

because the test traffic we are

generating causes many packet-in

messages to be sent also to the OpenFlow

controller and we see indeed that with

this specific test traffic stream,

we need more CPU resources for the

controller than for the openvswitch

which gives an indication that

for this kind of traffic, the controller would the

be the bottleneck in the network service

consuming most of the CPU.

to have an idea which specific packet

rate needs this specific CPU allocation

To have a detailed idea of the needed

resource allocation for this network

service

so let me summarize again what we have

shown here we have an SDK environment

which has different graphical tools

available to run through a development

cycle, specifically for NFV-based

services, if you want to have more

details on this you can check GitHub

can check the website of the project for

all the deliverables and technical

On the campaign trail, Donald Trump�s promise to �build the wall� became one of the

key phrases of his candidacy.

Now it�s finally happening, but Americans can use another popular phrase to explain

why:

�Thanks, Obama.�

A new 7-and-a-half mile long welded steel wall has been completed along the Mexican

border in Naco, Arizona.

While it�s only one piece of the extensive southern border, the construction was funded

by a budget approved by none other than President Barack Obama.

Trump is �using the current bill to get his priorities moving and put it down,�

White House press secretary Sean Spicer said at a news briefing in early May, according

to a White House transcript.

�To answer the question: It is currently being built in Naco, Arizona; Sunland Park,

New Mexico; and we are going to be starting to do this in San Diego; El Paso; and Rio

Grande Valley.�

The project was paid for by last year�s fiscal budget, which was given the thumbs

up by Obama.

It seems that the former president is fine with securing small areas of the border, but

attacks anyone who wants to secure the entire country.

At 18 feet high, the new wall is meant to stop pedestrians from crossing into the United

States unimpeded.

It is replacing an older and far less effective fence, which was reportedly built from chain

link and pieces of a military landing platform.

Border walls have come under heavy criticism by liberals, but security experts say that

they work.

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly is on record as saying that a wall is �the

most effective way to keep people out, to stop drugs, to stop cartels, to stop human

trafficking, and to prevent illegal immigration,� according to HeatStreet.

Despite the Democrats� attempts to block Trump at every turn, the president is using

a budget signed by jhis Democrat predecessor against them.

Voters made their stance on border security clear during the November election, and it

looks like the White House is going to drive that message home.

they said 24 to 48 hours we're going to

do it I'm plugging this device in I'm

going to lock it on to the luer lock and

suck the air out of the device you'll be

able to feel it deflating yes

it might make you cough or might be a

little release of blood I hope I got it

all out of me so after 5 ml we're going

to do it again and see if there's any

more air in that thing nope no we got

all there is to get all right I'm going

to untape your head okay oh it's caught

in your glasses all gear Kanaya yes and

get the glasses off all right you can

put them on down okay alright you're

ready for this ready so I'm going to be

pulling straight out yeah I keep that

I'm going to put my hand down here too

okay go oh

Oh Oh you know how much blood on yours

there's a lot of sine estranged

the looks of that the bleeding stopped

very quickly yeah now that has a lot of

gasoline on it and it's just a little

bladder that filled up and applied

pressure along the line of your nose I'm

anything left to fix

Military Veterans Health Care for All Buddy Carter Savannah Georgia May 16 2017 - Duration: 6:04.

hi YouTube okay I want to I want to

share something with you I am at I'm

going to show you here I'm at buddy

Carter's representative buddy Carter's

web site and he is a big proponent of

veterans care and so here is what he has

on now I'm going to share this with you

guys what he wrote it says Americans

veterans are putting everything on the

line to protect our freedom and they

deserve the best possible care when

returning home okay when a lot of

veterans return home they're not going

to have care because they're they might

be short term veterans and so they're

not going to actually have medical care

or affordable medical care he says I'm

the proud to represent so many veterans

in the first District and their

employment benefits and health now I'm

in the first District which is Savannah

Georgia and he won't even show up at

townhall meetings anymore apparently

he's been canceling them and left and

right

health care is a top priority for me

that's what he says however currently

the Veterans Administration is not

providing the care our veterans deserve

well okay the soldiers the veterans

should not have to go to the VA to get

care but he's also not thinking about

that veterans who don't live near a

military installation are not going to

be able to go to a VA place either and

they may not have affordable health care

and but he says to address this I

introduced an amendment to target the

deceptive practice at the VA intended to

cover up the backlog of veterans waiting

for care and and I was just thinking

that you know until this until these

guys started playing politics because I

see this at our local hospital too there

was not a backlog you know we we've gone

into the emergency room and stuff like

that and never had to wait very long but

until they started playing politics the

politicians the insurance

companies hospitals this stuff was not

happening or going on so there is some

reason that you know I mean that the

thing is is we need some type of

universal or single-payer health care

system but at the same time this would

benefit everybody I want something

that's going to benefit everybody so

we're all of our medical needs are met

well technically we're already paying

for it because through the backdoor ways

because when you have companies like

Walmart and companies like that who pay

their employees really really poorly

we're still paying for it as taxpayers

through the backdoor route for people

who need assistance don't get mad at the

people who need assistance that's what

I'm asking you guys do not get mad at

them because that's pitting people

against people because all of us want

affordable health care right don't we we

all want something affordable and so and

and even they talked about veterans

working for Walmart but if Walmart isn't

paying a living wage

how are the veterans benefiting from

that that's what I'd like to know how

are the veterans benefiting from not

being paid a living wage when they get

out of the military you know I mean and

so the thing is we know that when

they're in the military it's a thankless

job and let me tell you I was a military

spouse so I saw it firsthand it's it can

be terrible at times so and then it says

what what else does you have to say here

it is it's the very least we can do for

those who served our country so

honorably so if you're having issues

with the VA please do not hesitate to

contact my office click here we are here

to help but how is he helping the

veterans when he won't even show up to

townhall meetings

that's what I'd like to know and and so

there's a lot of veterans what about the

homeless veterans what about veterans

who who don't have cars

what about veterans who don't have jobs

that's what I'd like to know what what

is what is Buddy Carter's answers for

all of this he says he's a proponent for

veterans but is what what Veterans is he

a proponent for who is what veterans is

he trying to help it doesn't really seem

like he's trying to help anybody and

that's the thing that's kind of

frustrating to me is because we do know

the veterans need help but at the same

time he's not actually doing anything to

help them and and so playing politics

with people's lives is not helpful and

so if he really wanted to help the

veterans he would create a single-payer

system for all like the veterans had

when they were in the military and

everything was covered all of everything

they needed was covered including eye

care and dental care that's what they

had that's what they had when they were

in the military

so buddy Carter actually cared about

them oh when they had the prescription

medications too and everything was

covered and so the expenses that that

these companies are creating through the

backdoor ways as I said like with

Walmart and stuff like that where they

pay people poorly and they have no

benefits and then the government is the

American taxpayers are left to pick up

the tab anyway we're already paying for

it but like I said I'm asking you guys

do not pit people against people that's

what I'm asking for because the thing is

is single-payer is the work is to

benefit all of us I want to thank you
