Let's catch you up on some of the insider stuff going on here at The Rubin Report headquarters.

First, I should say how pleased we are not just with the growth of the show in terms

of numbers, but also in terms of content.

We're on track to crack 500,000 subscribers in a few weeks and our watch time is about

15 minutes per video, which is almost unheard of on YouTube.

Our audience engagement is great, and even the comment section hasn't *TOTALLY* devolved

into the abyss of hate like so many other channels have.

More importantly, I'm incredibly proud of the conversations we're continuing to foster

around here.

From last week's interview with Ayaan Hirsi Ali, to the week before with Jordan Petersen,

and before that with Yasmine Mohammed and Brandon Turner, I think we've managed to have

wide ranging, important conversations which leave you with something to think about, instead

of feeling empty and enraged, like much of the content out there is designed to make

you feel.

Many of you have asked me about the YouTube demonetization issue, which I've addressed

on Twitter and Facebook, but wanted to discuss here as well.

For those of you just catching up, about 6 weeks ago YouTube lost about 750 million dollars

in ad sales after a bunch of stories ran across mainstream media, about how ads were being

played on offensive content on the Youtube Platform.

Putting aside what is actually offensive, or that you rarely associate the ad playing

before the video with the content itself, YouTube found itself in a tough position.

750 million isn't chump change, even to a company like Google, and suddenly there were

less ads to go around the entire platform.

I should pause here and say that as a private company, YouTube absolutely has the right

to do whatever they want with their business, and in this case, if there aren't ads to go

around on all the content... well, nobody is forcing me or anyone else to create videos

here.

At the same time this demonetization was happening, there was also another problem unfolding for

channels such as this one.

Some of our videos, which deal with "certain controversial" topics, aren't getting served

ads at all.

So for example, videos we've done with people from Lauren Southern to Bishop Barron to Yasmine

Mohammed...and there's some real diversity in that group...aren't being served ads at

all due to the nature of their content.

Again, that is YouTube's right to do, and it isn't censorship because they aren't stopping

us from putting up those interviews, but eventually every creator has to make a dime.

Creators will eventually self censor if they know certain topics won't make them any money.

Since I try to be as transparent as possible with you, I want to tell a little more about

our economics around here.

Our interview with Ayaan, which was done on location in another city due to security issues,

cost us over $5,000 between studio rental, flying my crew to another city, hotel rooms

and other ancillary costs.

The four videos we put up with Ayaan have made us less than $1,000 back on YouTube.

I'm no economist, but even I know that's not a sustainable business model.

In this case, not doing the interview with Ayaan would've been the prudent business decision,

but of course I'm thrilled that Ayaan took the time, and in my view it was worth the

financial hit we took to make it happen.

The truth that Ayaan speaks about female genital mutilation, the Left's alliance with Islam,

and the power of the individual as a lynch pin in a free western society are all messages

that must be heard and amplified.

I'll continue to have these important conversations regardless of the financial implications as

long as we can do so.

I mention all this insider stuff to you not for your pity or your money, but just to give

you a little insight into how complex content creation is these days and how there are often

behind the scenes issues that have little to do with the content but a lot to do with

how we are able to make it.

So I'll end this with a thank you to all of you who continue to support us via monthly

In the previous video of the S13 we've installed BC Racing Coilovers

That made a huge difference when it comes to the car's stability.

The only problem is when we lower the car, it's geometry gets all wrong

And the oem control arms can't give us the adjustability we need for a good alignment.

So that's what we're doing today.

We're installing a Kaber Performance set of adjustable control arms.

All that's left is a decent alignment!

Hopefully this dude starts driving straight as i'm done shitting my pants.

Now, we can see hands-on review of the new smartphone.

We should say, that the price of Gretel A6 is only $79.99.

Let's see, what the smartphone offers for its price.

As you can see, Gretel A6 really has a completely metal body and looks stylish and high quality.

This suggests that the promo photos did not deceive.

The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The version of Android is not the newest, but the interface works quickly and smoothly.

Now the most popular budget smartphone is Xiaomi Redmi 4X.

Nevertheless, Gretel looks even better.

The smartphone is equipped with 5.5-inch display with HD resolution.

In addition, the display has curved 2.5D glass.

CoD 2 Spanish Civil War ► Act VI - Mission 17: "The first anniversary of war" - Duration: 20:48.

The Battle of Guadalajara supposes the definitive stop to the glorious aspirations of the Italian army on Spanish soil.

The fascist troops sent by Mussolini undertake a disorderly retreat after the Republican hits,

suffering more than 6,000 casualties and leaving a lot of war material and prisoners behind.

Ending the month of March, the Nationalist side changes its strategy.

After the failures at taking Madrid, taking the north of Spain is established as a primary objective.

The so-called War of the North supposes taking Bilbao, Santander and Asturias.

The Nationalists concentrate in Vitoria the bulk of their air force, composed mainly of German and Italian planes,

Onimusha Warlords is Fantastic! | The Chattering Gamer - Episode 5 | LegacyOfJames - Duration: 6:00.

hello everyone I would like to tell you

a story if I may about my somewhat

checkered past with a game called

Onimusha Warlords when I first heard of

this game I didn't really find it all

that interesting I didn't think much

I'd seen at the screenshots at the time

and it really didn't look like anything

special and I passed on it for a good

few years and so I saw it on sale at a

UK high street retailer called game it

was fairly cheap so I thought what the

hell and picked it up I got home fired

up the game not expecting a great deal

but what happened next

surprised the hell out of me quite

literally as it turns out Onimusha

warlords is a great game so let's try

and find out what's so special about it

well for starters you play as a bloody

Samurai

I mean what's cooler than that apart

from ninjas the game takes place in the

16th century Japan just after the Battle

of Okehazama or Okie Hazama

whichever we want to call that however

you want to pronounce that for anybody

listening in Japan I'm so sorry so that

battle pitted Imagawa Yoshimoto

against Nobunaga Oda Nobunaga was

apparently killed in that battle and it

is a couple of years after that battle

that the story of Onimusha Warlord

starts the hero of this tale is Samanosuke

Akechi a samurai obviously he

travels with Kaede a female ninja

who Samanosuke met on his travels

after learning that Nobunaga is still

very much alive

the two arrive at Inabayama castle after

receiving a letter from princess Yuki

Samanosuke's cousin regarding strange

disappearances around the castle

Samanosuke and Kaede arrive at the castle to

find it somewhat under siege by demons

and after getting knocked out by a

rather big and nasty fellow someone

asked a is visited by twelve Oni who

grant him the power to slay the demons

way more efficiently and absorb their

souls he also gets a very cool fashion

accessory in the form of the ogre

gauntlet now the gameplay in Onimusha is

reminiscent of one Resident Evil

especially with its movement mechanics

which are unbelievably clunky

this is down to the fact that you have

to use the d-pad for movement I mean

what were Capcom thinking when they

devised this movement system this game

released on the PlayStation 2 the

PlayStation 2 controller the DualShock 2

has these things called

analog sticks and these analog sticks

are not used anywhere in the game what

so ever well here's a fun fact for you

Onimusha Warlords was originally being

developed for the original PlayStation

now you can kind of see what their

thinking was they couldn't use a control

system that exclusively used the analog

sticks for movement because the original

ps1 controller didnt have analog sticks

then they would move the development to

the PlayStation 2 and not bother to

update the control scheme for a

controller that had analog sticks to

begin with it's laziness

pure laziness another thing that

confuses me about the movement system

was that no matter which way the camera

is facing pressing up on the d-pad

always moves Samanosuke forward in

the direction he is facing this threw me

for a loop the first time I played this

and even when I went back to it when I

captured the footage for this video I am

so used to playing games where movement

is based on which way the camera is

pointing that I kept getting turned

around that was running into walls a lot

I got used to it eventually but it was a

pain in the arse the combat system isn't

really much to write home about

you have your standard attack and your

magic attack and that's about in there

aren't any different combos to learn and

there are no variations of the magic

attacks each of the weapons speaking of

weapons there are seven usable weapons

in the game the katana the bow the match

lock rifle and three magical weapons

corresponding to the elements lightning

fire and wind now in the early game it

doesn't really matter which weapon you

choose because you're mainly fighting

lower minions that you could defeat by

shouting boo very loudly in their

direction but when you start fighting

the larger demons weapon choice is a big

factor you'll be facing demons that are

easier to defeat with certain weapons do

you need the speed of Raizan no not the

AMD processor or the power of Enryuu or

maybe you need the area clearing

capabilities of Shippuu it does add a

layer of strategy to an otherwise quite

dull combat system

the visuals in Onimusha were pretty good for

the time it doesn't look great in this

video because I'm playing this thing

through emulation so it's never going

to be that great but the presentation is

actually very good the animations are

generally decent the only issue I have

with it is the facial animations some of

them look like something I would see in

my nightmares I mean what is that I'm

going to be seeing that in my dreams for

ages and not in a good way

the voice acting is about as stiff as

you would expect from a Japanese game at

the time although some of it is just

downright funny but it's despite all of

that on elusive warlords is a great game

now like most of my favourite games I

can't quite put my finger on why I

enjoyed the game so much and why it

means so much to me is it the setting is

it the characters is it the game world

design

all I know is is that the game that I

almost passed over and never played not

only turned out to be a great game

but also the start of one of my favorite

video game series of all time thank you
