Waching daily May 17 2017

Our top story this morning...

Washington's ambassador to the United Nations says the United States is ready to broaden

its sanctions on North Korea, while also "calling out" countries that provide aid to the regime.

Nikki Haley's remarks came as she entered a closed-door session of the UN Security Council,

which was called by the U.S. and Japan to discuss North Korea's latest missile test.

Yu Joonhee starts us off.

Speaking to reporters ahead of an emergency UN Security Council meeting on Tuesday, UN

ambassador Nikki Haley left the door open to dialogue with North Korea if it abandoned

its nuclear and ballistic missile ambitions.

She also raised the possibility of broader sanctions by Washington, and vowed to "call

out" states that provide aid to the isolated regime.

Reuters: 2248 v1 "And I will tell you that if you are a country

that is supplying or supporting North Korea, we will call you out on it.

We will make sure that everyone knows who you are and we will target those sanctions

towards you as well."

Shortly after those remarks, Haley entered an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council,

which was convened in response to North Korea's missile test on Sunday.

On Monday, all 15 members of the council including China, released a unanimous statement that

condemned Pyongyang for its latest provocation.

In the statement, the Security Council demanded North Korea conduct no further nuclear and

ballistic missile tests, while urging UN member states to better enforce existing sanctions

on the North.

The missile fired on Sunday, appears to have the longest-range of any rocket tested by

the regime to date.

Covering a distance of nearly 800 kilometers while reaching an altitude of over 2,000 kilometers,

Pyongyang claims it's a new type of missile, capable of carrying a large nuclear warhead.

The regime's latest provocation presents a dilemma for South Korea's newly-elected President

Moon Jae-in, who favors engagement with Pyongyang.

North Korea is already subject to six UN sanction resolutions, aimed at restricting revenue

and acquisition of technology that could aid its nuclear and missile programs.

Seoul's defense chief confirms THAAD radar detected N. Korea's missile launch - Duration: 1:32.

The South Korean government has provided the nation with more information about North Korea's

recent missile launch.

The country's defense chief confirmed the missile was not an ICBM,... but was still

a powerful missile with a significant range.

He also said the THAAD system set up in the country gave them instant information on the

launch.

Kim Hyo-sun reports.

South Korea's defense minister has revealed that the country's THAAD radar system successfully

detected North Korea's latest missile launch.

Speaking at a meeting of the National Assembly's defense committee on Tuesday,... Han Min-koo

stressed the importance of the U.S. missile defense system.

"We confirmed with the U.S. military that the THAAD radar deployed in Seongju County

detected Sunday's missile launch."

Minister Han also confirmed that the missile was an intermediate-range ballistic missile,

or IRBM,... with a maximum strike range of five-thousand kilometers.

He stated that it was not an ICBM, which has a range of more than five-and-a-half-thousand

kilometers.

He explained that the defense ministry shared military intelligence with the United States,

as well as Japan, before reaching its conclusion.

"We can say this was a successful launch if North Korea aimed for an IRBM."

The minister added that Seoul could carry out an preemptive strike on North Korea if

there were clear signs the North was ready to attack the country.

Here it's a C#minor7

You can finish here with intervals if you want

but it seems that he only plays one string here in the concert so you are not forced to play intervals

Almost all the first part of the song is played this way

sometimes you can skip the first intervals of the rythmic introduction

and sometimes you can play it just like in the introduction while they are singing

All the first part of the song "Yawe Yawe Yawe nkolo na nga ozali nzambe" can be played that way

** second part **

Here it's a simple "3 temps" you can play : E, B, A, B, E until the end of the song

so depending on who you are playing with, acoutsic, with piano, you will adapt the tune of the rythmic

** End bonus **

7 Strategies To Set Intentions And Get What You Want - Duration: 6:54.

7 Strategies To Set Intentions And Get What You Want

By Dylan Harper

Setting intentions is critical if you want to make your dreams a reality.

When we set intentions, we ask the universe to guide us toward our goals.

We ask for the promotion, the new relationship or the dream home.

A big reason why people fail to manifest the things they want is because they never actually

intend for their dreams to come true.

They believe their desires are inconceivable or impossible, so they never even ask for

them.

I used to be guilty of this in my past.

There were a lot of things I wanted that I didnt think Id ever have, so I never

bothered asking for them.

However, when we dont ask for what we want we dont receive any assistance!

For example, if you dont ask the waitress at the restaurant for extra napkins, youre

probably not going to get them.

If youre completely lost and dont ask for directions, youre probably going to

stay lost.

The same thing works for the universe-if you dont ask for what you want, it will probably

never come!

So, if you have any wishes (be them big or small), start to set intentions for them to

come true!

Here are seven strategies to ask the universe for what you want.

1.

Ask first thing in the morning!

This is my favorite way to set intentions for small daily goals.

When you first wake up, make a couple of wishes for your day.

Maybe you want to have a great presentation at work, look your best or just have fun.

As soon as you wake up, get into the habit of asking for a few things you want.

2.

Meditate on your intention

Meditating is an awesome way to focus on an intention.

While sitting or lying down with your eyes closed, focus on your breathing for a few

minutes to clear your mind.

When your mind is centered and free of any racing thoughts, imagine your wish coming

true and ask the universe to help guide you toward your goal.

3.

Take every wish opportunity you find

I do this every day, many times a day.

Whenever the clock says 11:11, I see a shooting star or I pass a wishing well I take a moment

to think of a quick wish.

Use these opportunities whenever they present themselves to start putting more desires out

there and start manifesting more of the things you want.

So often we save our wishes for just a few bigger things, but you can set as many intentions

as you want- so why not ask for more?

4.

Write your intentions down

Writing out your intentions is another great strategy.

Write down your goals in a journal, or keep a jar with your wishes.

Ive found it can be a lot of fun to write my goals and wishes down and put them away

for a while, and then a few months later open them back up and look at them.

Inevitably, I will have manifested a number of my goals.

Seeing evidence of the power of intention can help build more faith in the process!

5.

Create a vision board

For those who are visual types, a vision board can be a lot of fun.

Create a board with pictures of the things youd like to manifest (like the car, house,

relationship, job, etc).

It can be a physical board you can hang in your home, or you could even make a vision

board on Pinterest to keep a digital place for your images.

6.

Tell other people your intentions

This is my favorite way to set intentions and, in my opinion, one of the most effective.

When we tell other people about our intentions we get more people involved in our creative

process!

Now, not only are we expecting our intentions to come true, but other people start to expect

our wishes come true as well.

The more people expect your dream to come true, the more magnetic pull you will have

on your dream.

Not only that, but you will find when you put your dreams out there, other people will

come to you with information and advice on how to make your dreams a reality.

People love to share their knowledge and expertise, especially when they know someone is interested

in hearing about it!

You open yourself up to a lot more information on how to reach your goal when you involve

other people.

So, tell your friends about that dream vacation youd love to go on.

Tell your coworkers you want a promotion.

Get your desire out in the open to generate more momentum toward it!

7.

Ask right before you go to bed

Right before bedtime is another great time to ask for what you want.

Sleep is awesome because it is a time when we are more connected with our intuition.

What we think about right before bed we are more likely to dream about, and dreams can

help the manifestation process.

So if you have a question you want answered, or a goal you are reaching toward, take a

moment to intend it right before you go to sleep!

Remember, setting intentions is absolutely essential if you want your dreams to come

true.

If you can set intentions for as many things as youd like, why not start asking

for more?

Warmer highs, sunny skies under strong UV rays - Duration: 1:35.

Good morning, It's forecast to be warmer and sunnier today in most parts of the country.

But lows are still in the low teens...

Seoul and Daegu started out at 13 degrees Celsius while Busan and Jeju saw lows of 15

and 14 degrees.

And the capital area could see high levels of fine dust in the morning.

Highs in the capital will be a few notches higher than yesterday in most parts getting

up to 25 degrees Celsius.

Eastern parts of the country will have relatively cooler highs topping out at 25 degrees in

Daegu and 21 degrees in Busan.

Dressing lighter seems essential during the day but strong UV rays are expected in the

afternoon across the nation, so be sure to have protective items in hand before heading

outside, while ozone levels will also increase as the day goes on.

Morning lows will also jump to the mid teens tomorrow and highs will be edging closer to

30 degrees in the capital as we go further into the week.

That's all the weather update for now.

Why Most MDs Don't Know About Treating Disease With Nutrients - Dr. Jonathan V. Wright - Duration: 7:04.

Ty Bollinger: Dr. Wright, tell me about your "aha" moment that really opened your eyes.

How did these patients help you to see the light?

Dr. Wright: Well, let me tell you about a couple of them.

A lady comes in.

I looked at her entire record.

Same problem all time, intense leg cramps, just

bad ones.

And she had been tried on every patent medicine in the book that's supposed to stop leg cramps.

Plus they'd even used calcium because medical doctors were taught about calcium.

And none of it had worked.

And what had worked to control them but not get rid of them—in other words they weren't

as bad—was quinine.

It turns out if you take enough quinine to make your ears ring sometimes it will stop

leg cramps.

So she was on all this quinine.

I looked through her records.

That's what she's been in for every time, everything had been tried.

So when she came in and told me, "I'd like to get my leg cramps taken care of."

I said, "everything has been tried. I don't know anything else to do for you.

Besides that I'm a new graduate.

I'm a rookie.

So it's all in there.

You've tried everything."

She said, "no, no, no, no.

I don't want you to try something for me.

I want you to tell me if something is safe."

Well, what's that?

So she pulls this book out and she says, "it says right here that vitamin E sometimes stops

leg cramps."

And I said, "okay.

So did you try vitamin E?"

"Oh no.

The FDA tells us we can overdose on fat soluble vitamins and kill ourselves.

But other places say it's safe.

So I'm just here to ask you if it's safe for me

to take vitamin E?"

And remember this is in 1971 or 1972.

So I told her that the one thing they told us

about vitamin E in medical school is that you can't kill yourself with it.

You can kill yourself with vitamin D if you take way too much, vitamin A if you take too

much.

But you can't kill yourself with vitamin E. "Okay.

That's all I needed to know."

Basically, she was there to teach me something.

Any doctor will tell you that some of their patients are there to teach the doctor, not

to be treated.

Because I never saw her again.

But she called up about six weeks later and says, "I just thought that I'd

let you know that I took that vitamin E and the third week I quit having leg cramps.

And I haven't had leg cramps since.

And I flushed all those patent medications and quinine down the toilet."

And she said, "I think I'll just keep taking vitamin E." I thought, "Damn.

There's a hole missing in my medical education here."

Very fortunately I copied the titles of the books that she brought in.

So I went down to the store and got one.

And the next time somebody came in—this is the second one, I won't bore you with

a third one—she was having nausea from birth control pills.

Now, early 70s, higher dose birth control pills.

A fair minority of women got nausea from them.

And she said, "this is the only kind of birth control I can use.

IUD doesn't work for me and I can't trust

some of the other means and so forth."

So she wants to be on birth control pills but she doesn't like the nausea.

She says, "what can I do?"

And I said, "I don't know.

Excuse me a minute."

And that's sometimes what the doctor is doing when they get up and say,

"excuse me a minute."

I went the next room and looked in that book that the lady brought in that

I bought a copy of.

And it said right in that book that if you get nausea from estrogens, whether they're

birth control pills or other estrogens, take some vitamin B6.

It'll will go away.

So I came on back and said, "well, you know I

haven't actually worked with anybody on this.

But I know vitamin B6 is safe in small doses.

So here, take some vitamin B6 and see if your nausea goes away."

Her nausea went away.

I never saw her again either.

And she didn't call me.

She called my assistant and said, "my nausea is gone just thought

I'd let you know."

So it's one of those times when somebody is there to teach you something as well as

maybe to get better themselves.

So I picked up that book and went to the University of Washington library.

That book had a lot of nice footnotes to the medical

studies.

And I started—oh my gosh, look at all this stuff about

vitamins and minerals and herbs that I never learned in medical school.

And it's right there in the medical journal.

How come I never learned it in medical school?

And for anybody who wants to know, this was Adelle Davis' book.

Remember that name, Adelle Davis.

It was one of her books.

So at that time we had photocopies and we had to put a nickel in.

So I spent a lot nickels up at the University of Washington library

photocopying all this stuff.

And that started a collection that I've continued.

And also Dr. Alan Gaby, who you know of, he actually came out just

after his internship and worked at the office that, at that

time, was further south but here in this area.

He worked there for about 18 months before he decided

he wants to go back to where his family lives.

Which you can't blame him for.

But he picked up a lot of clinical stuff during that.

But I hardly ever saw Alan.

When he wasn't at the practice, he was always up at the library.

He's another library hound.

So we had all this on-paper research and by the time we switched from on-paper

to computerized which was the 90s, we'd accumulated about 60,000-70,000 articles.

And they're all in this storage trailer in file cabinets and

they are all titled and cross-referenced and so forth.

When we finally learned how to run a computer—we

were a little slow, both of us, on that—by then we collected

another 20,000-30,000 articles.

So we have close to 100,000 references from scientific journals that tell

us about the diet, vitamins, minerals, botanicals, natural energies, and so forth and their influence

on health.

So don't let anybody ever tell you that this isn't scientific.

There's just tons of science.

It's just that nobody pays attention to it because, I'm

sorry folks, it isn't patentable.

And if you can't patent it, you can't make big bucks.

And I think we all know that the trend in, lets call it regular medicine, right now is

for the newest patent medicines to be more expensive, more expensive, more expensive.

What is it?

$73,000 a year?

$1,000 a pill for hepatitis treatment, that kind of stuff.

You can charge that if you got a patent and you got a monopoly.

And you cannot do that with unpatentable stuff.

So that's why most medical doctors simply haven't even heard

of it.

It's not that they're, "I hate nature."

It's just that they don't know the science is there.

Ty Bollinger: And the science is there, in 100,000 articles.

Dr. Wright: Close to. We're not quite to 100,000.

Ty Bollinger: Okay pretty close to. Wow.
