The Djinn (Jinn) and Their Connection to the Shadow People

In early Arabian and Islamic mythology and theology, Djinn (Jinn) are supernatural creatures.

According to the Quran and certain ancient records, the Djinn were created from smokeless

and scorching fire.

An individual member of the Jinn is known as a jinni, djinni or genie.

In the Western world, Djinn are sometimes referred to as demons.

According to Rosemary Guiley, author of The Djinn Connection, one of the many forms of

the Djinn is the Shadow People.

I personally had experienced encounters with the Shadow People, a group of humanoid beings

that like to hide in the shadow and often appear as shadow figures.

When I was a child, they would often appeared in my bedroom and harassed me when I was in

the process of falling asleep.

It was not until my late 20s that they stopped appearing in my bedroom.

I felt that one of the reasons why they stopped harassing me was because I did not fear them

anymore.

Furthermore, I became more aware of how to exercise my natural rights and spiritual powers.

Based on my experience, the Shadow People had very negative vibration.

Sometimes, their vibration was so negative that when they appeared beside my bed, their

energy paralyzed me, making it hard for me to stay calm and breathe.

My experience with the Shadow People helped me to discover some effective methods for

preventing negative entities, such as Djinn and demons from harassing me.

One method is to not fear them.

An even more effective method is to not be afraid to exercise your natural rights.

One of your most powerful natural rights is free will.

When negative entities harass you, tell them to stop or face the consequences of violating

your free will.

The Universe has its own law system, so do not be afraid to use the law system of the

Universe to enforce the power of Natural Law.

If you have a hard time believing that Djinn, demons and supernatural creatures exist, read

my shocking article titled Demon Magicians: Are Most Great Magicians Possessed by Demons?

The following videos have a lot of interesting information about the Djinn.

Intuitively, I sense that there is a good amount of truth to the information in the

videos.

However, is all of it true?

Dozens of groups press Trump to exit Paris climate deal - Duration: 5:30.

Dozens of groups press Trump to exit Paris climate deal

by John Siciliano

More than three dozen conservative and free-market groups pressed President Trump on Monday to

exit from the Paris climate change agreement and not renege on the promise he made during

his campaign.

"The undersigned organizations believe that withdrawing completely from Paris is a key

part of your plan to protect U.S. energy producers and manufacturers from regulatory warfare

not just for the next four years but also for decades to come," a letter sent to Trump

on Monday read, signed onto by 38 groups. "We will strongly support your decision to

keep your campaign commitment to withdraw from the Paris Climate Treaty."

The groups leading the letter are the Competitive Enterprise Institute and the American Energy

Alliance. Senior members of both groups were the heads of Trump's transition teams for

the Environmental Protection Agency and the Energy Department respectively.

"The Paris Climate Treaty is an all pain for no gain agreement that will produce no measurable

climate benefits and exacerbate energy poverty around the globe," said Myron Ebell, former

head of Trump's EPA transition team and director of CEI's Center for Energy and Environment.

The letter is being sent as Trump is set to convene with week with his senior advisers

and members of his Cabinet to hash out a decision on the Paris climate agreement.

The groups signed onto the letter are concerned that many of Trump's advisers are supportive

of the idea of not exiting from the agreement, believing they can renegotiate the deal toward

an end that agrees with Trump's "America First" agenda. But the groups warn that such an approach

would backfire.

"Some officials in your administration are relying on recent statements from former Obama

administration officials that the U. S. can withdraw its [previous commitment under the

accord] and submit a new [target] that makes far less ambitious commitments to reduce greenhouse

gas emissions," the letter stated.

But the "clear language of Article 4 of the Paris Climate Treaty contradicts that claim",

stating that "A Party may at any time adjust its existing nationally determined contribution

with a view to enhancing its level of ambition." That means the only change the U.S. can make

is one that increases its obligations to reduce emissions and fossil fuel use.

"Even if the U. S. were to be cleared by UN officials to submit a less ambitious [goal],

this is not the end of the threats posed by the Paris Climate Treaty to your pro-energy

agenda and to the economic future of our country," the letter stated. The deal requires that

each country submit more ambitious goals every five years "in perpetuity," which "cannot

be wished away by those who argue that the U.S. should keep a seat at the negotiating

table in order to advocate for fossil fuels," the letter added.

Some of the largest coal companies in the U.S. have been pressing Trump to remain a

party to the agreement in order to help them renegotiate a deal that favors clean coal

technologies. Trump also supports clean coal.

The groups argue that there are really only three options for Trump. First, he can submit

the treaty to the Senate for a vote. "Submitting the treaty to the Senate would return us to

and restore the proper constitutional method for treaty-making and require a future administration

to go through proper procedures if it were to attempt to rejoin the treaty," the letter

explained.

The groups refer to the agreement as a treaty, although the Obama administration argued it

is not binding. Under the law, all international treaties must be approved by the Senate. And

with a Republican majority in the Senate, it has a good chance of being voted down.

"Second, you could withdraw from the underlying UN Framework Convention on Climate Change,"

the letter said. "This action would also achieve your commitment to 'stop all payments of the

United States tax dollars to UN global warming programs,' including the Green Climate Fund,

which is a part of the UNFCCC." The green climate fund is designed to help small, developing

nations deal with the challenges posed by climate change, such as sea-level rise.

Third, Trump could state that he intends to withdraw from the agreement, base on the four-year

schedule that the deal specifies for nations wishing to leave the agreement. In that time,

Trump would continue the process of repealing the regulations that the Obama administration

submitted as part of its commitment.

But there is a risk with the third option. "This option is the least preferable because

it runs the risk of legitimizing the Obama administration's false claim that the treaty

is merely an executive agreement," the letter reads. It could also give environmental groups

time to mount a legal case that could get the courts to reverse Trump's efforts to rescind

Obama's climate rules on the grounds that it counters the goals of the Paris deal.

The Heartland Institute, Americans for Tax Reform, Americans for Prosperity, Heritage

Action for America and the Heritage Foundation were some of the other groups that signed

onto the letter.

How to AVOID The Most Common Throwing Mistakes - Baseball Throwing Fundamentals [How To Tuesday Ep6] - Duration: 5:00.

What's up guys, Coach Madden, official trainer YouGoProBaseball.com and today we're going

to talk about how to avoid the most common throwing mistakes.

So I'm going to share with you three mistakes today that I see a lot when guys are throwing

the baseball that you shouldn't be doing, but of course I'm not going to leave you out

there like that I'm going to show you how to fix these as well and share with you some

baseball throwing fundamentals, if you will.

The first of the most common throwing mistakes that I see a lot is guys being too high, too

early with the ball and I think this is because coaches say a lot of the time "get that

arm up, get that ball up, give that arm up high," and I think kids hear this and they

literally try to do that.

So when they go to throw they're coming up too high too early and you're just jamming

yourself up when you do that, you don't want to be up this high and then throwing down.

We actually want to be down and come up to our release point; that's the way it should

really happen, but when kids, young guys, youth players hear "get that arm up" I see

a lot of guys going like this and then they're up, then they're coming down and then they're

pushing and it's just throwing them all out of whack.

So this is the number one mistake to avoid in these baseball throwing fundamentals and

how do you fix that?

You can do a drill called Low Grab Rockers.

For low grab rockers all we're going to do is get set up in our rocker position which

is going to be our stride with our heel the heel, we're going to get nice and deep into

that positions, bending our knees sitting our butt down in there.

We're going to have a tee behind us, nice and low and then we're going to rock back,

grab this ball off of the tee so our arms nice and low and then we're going to have

to turn transfer our energy going forward and make that throw.

It really helps work on the arm action and how you time that arm action with the rest

of your body.

So it looks a little something like this.

The second of these baseball throwing fundamentals that I see jacked up all the time is that

front arm kind of flying open and down, it kind of just dies out here when the guys are

throwing, they throw this way and this front arm opens down and out flying open, no front

side kind of just lazy and flying open.

So how do we fix this problem?

We could do a drill called figure eights and all we're going to do in this arm action drill

is we're going to get set up nice athletic position, we're going to keep our hands together

right here in the middle and we're going to make a figure eight.

We're going to go past our hip, past our other hip, we could turn our feet a little bit while

we're doing these figure eights this way and then we're going to separate our hands and

throw out in front.

The reason this drill works so good for guys who kind of have a lazy front side is when

we turn back this way with our figure eights, it forces them to have this front side here

and especially if you can verbally tell them to get that arm up after they separate on

this side of the hip they're going to be able to use their front side a lot better.

So it looks a little something like this.

And the last tip or the last mistake I see a lot, it's more of a general tip or a general

thing I see and that is bad throws, misdirection so I see guys not setting their feet good

enough, not getting into the good position.

So how do we work on that?

We really just got to be aware and understand that getting our legs underneath us is so

important when it comes to making good throws.

So a lot of times we think about the arm, in fact the first two drills that we talked

about were arm things, but when it comes to throwing the legs are very important, so we

have to understand that we need to get our legs underneath us.

So if we're making that play, we really got to make sure we're getting our legs underneath

us and following our throw, getting into a good direction.

If we're here and we're off-balance and if you can't stay balanced and under control

and get your legs to where they need to be then you're not going to make good consistent

throws all the time.

You have to have your legs into a good position, you have to have strong legs, be balanced,

and you have to be an athlete.

Guys I hope you like this baseball throwing fundamentals video this how-to Tuesday video.

What's Killing The Middle Class Part 1 - Duration: 8:27.

What's Killing The Middle Class (Part 1)

by Tyler Durden

Authored by Charles Hugh-Smith via OfTwoMinds blog,

The rising asymmetry of rewards within our economy has many drivers.

We all know the middle class that actually owns capital and wields political influence

is shrinking.

As I noted last week in Redefining the Middle Class: It Isn't What You Earn and Owe, It's

What You Own That Generates Income, defining the middle class by household income alone

is a misleading metric, as it leaves out the critical factors of debt and ownership of

productive assets.

A household may have an income of $150,000 and appear well-off by that metric, but if

they are mired in debt and own virtually no productive assets or wealth that can be passed

on to future generations, they aren't middle class--they're well-paid proletariats.

So what's killing the middle class?

If you read the dozens of articles on the decline of the middle class in the mainstream

(corporate) media, you soon discover there's a short list of the usual suspects:

1.

Globalization / outsourcing

2.

Technological changes / automation

3.

"Winner take all" asymmetry in rewards for specialized skills

Clearly, each of these has squeezed the incomes of all those between the jobless poor and

the wealthy reaping the lion's share of the rewards from globalization and technological

change.

A worker at a steel mill who earned $28/hour plus benefits could, with frugality and long-term

planning, eventually own a home free and clear and acquire a nest-egg of assets.

When that worker's job was outsourced, and his next job paid $9.25/hour, the opportunities

to amass capital fell precipitously.

A middle-skill worker replaced by automation had the same life-changing experience if he

didn't acquire much higher level skills and move to a stronger job market--both difficult

tasks with highly uncertain outcomes.

(No wonder secure government jobs from which jobholders can't be fired are so sought after.)

As economist Michael Spence explained, a key dynamic in globalization's asymmetric rewards

in pay and career stability is the tradability / non-tradability of output and labor: a bushel

of grapes can be grown in another country, but you can't outsource a haircut.

Grapes, computer chips, tech support, etc., can be grown, made or done elsewhere (outsourced)

as they are tradable; hair cuts, most government services, being served a beer at a brewpub,

etc. are non-tradable.

The rising asymmetry of rewards within our economy has many drivers.

Studies by physicists suggest that the highly networked complexity of our economy generates

wealth / income inequality by its very nature: Physics can predict wealth inequality:

Bejan's Constructal Law addresses the fundamental principle of physics that underlies the evolution

of flow systems as they change in design over time to increase flow access.

It reveals that "branching tree-shaped" flow patterns govern the structure of the entire

universe--most clearly evident within rivers, neural networks, lightning bolts, electrical

circuitry and trees.

"The Constructal Law extends the power of physics over all of the phenomena of evolutionary

design and organization, from geophysics to biology, technology, and social organization,"

Bejan said.

"This unites economics and physics.

The equivalence between wealth and movement is correct in the broadest sense: outliers

exist and undoubtedly the equivalence is evolutionary because wealth and fuel use are increasing

over time."

What did they discover in terms of wealth inequality?

Bejan and Errera show that nonuniform distribution of movement (wealth) becomes more accentuated

as an economy becomes more developed--its flow architecture becomes more complex for

the purpose of covering smaller and smaller interstices of the overall territory.

"Relatively modest complexity is required for the nonuniformity in the distribution

of movement (wealth) to be evident," Bejan said.

In other words, only specific types of specialization garner most of the rewards.

Specialization itself doesn't necessarily lead to outsized gains; what matters is the

tradability of the specialization and the supply and demand for that specialized set

of skills.

As I repeatedly point out, just issuing 500,000 more graduate degrees in STEM (science, technology,

engineering and math) doesn't automatically create 500,000 new jobs; there has to be demand

for those skills.

Skills that are non-tradable and scarce will command high compensation.

Skills /credentials that are tradable and abundant are a dime a dozen--there is no pricing

power to labor that's abundant, tradable and interchangeable (i.e. a commodity).

In effect, outsourcing and automation are eating the soft center between the low/moderate-skilled

workforce that can't be outsourced (dog walkers, waiters, nannies, etc.) and the high-skilled

technocrat class employed by the government, finance and corporations.

As software improves, automation can move higher up the employment food chain, turning

non-tradable (i.e. can't be outsourced) employment into commodity labor that can be augmented

(partly replaced) by software/automation tools.

Self-driving vehicles are an example of this dynamic.

This displaces middle-skilled workers who find there is an abundance of other middle-skilled

workers seeking high-paying jobs.

This over-supply of middle-skilled workers creates a glut that pushes wages down.

It's just supply and demand.

All these factors are consequential, but they conveniently leave out the politically explosive

dynamics that are enriching the political and financial elites (the few) at the expense

of the middle class (the many).

All these factors are politically neutral abstractions--they have been stripped of exploitive,

parasitic, predatory political and financial dynamics.

For example, consider how we've substituted debt for income.

Savings have crashed while consumer debt has soared.

This is the core dynamic of debt-serfdom.

Was this substitution the result of automation and outsourcing?

In Part 2, we'll look at the politically explosive dynamics that are killing

the middle class.

Getting ready for plywood subfloor install - DIY Campervan Build Part 7 - Duration: 7:49.

The floor material... what was it?

The floor...

material...

Oh my...

I got it wrong again.

Cut!

Hi, it's Lucy with Campingcarjoa.

If you saw our last episode

You know our side panels...

Oops!

We took out our side panels and floor.

Today

We'll finish the floor insulation.

After we removed the bolts from the floor.

There are holes in our floor.

Before we install the subfloor

the holes we aren't going to use

Need to be plugged up.

So that's what we're doing now.

Let me show you how we're going to do it.

First

Tada!

We use 10 won coins.

Along with silicon to plug them.

With the remaining holes

The subfloor and the subfloor mounts

Will be bolted down to the floor.

So these won't be plugged.

Also these bolts that are sticking out

When we install the plywood subfloor

Will also be used.

Let's plug a hold with this 10 won coin.

Oh... it's not easy.

Just like this.

Just like frosting a cake.

Make it lump up a little.

It looks nice if it oozes out a little.

Now the 10 won coin.

Press it down.

Just like that.

But...

Failure!

I'm going to add some more.

It didn't come out the way I wanted it.

After adding a bit more

Oh it's not easy one handed while filming.

It's all over my hands.

Gently press it down.

And this is the way I want it.

Just like this.

So we finished plugging the holes with silicon and coins.

Let me show you.

The job is done.

Just have to wait for it to set.

Try not to step on them.

Being careful not to touch them.

I was waiting for them to set.

But while I was cleaning up

I hit some.

So I secured them with aluminum tape.

Normally you don't want aluminum against steel.

But the floor is painted.

So we're using the aluminum tape.

Yesterday, we plugged up the holes.

Today we plan to install the subfloor.

It was raining so we got a late start.

So we'll need a little luck to finish the job today.

Let's hurry and start!

We were all set up to start.

And it suddenly started pouring.

Can you see the rain on Tubi?

We were frantically putting everything back in the van.

It look like the rain has stopped for now.

So now...

It's time...

To cut out the subfloor.

We had the plywood staked on top of each other

While I was cutting.

Even though I double checked.

While cutting

I cut into the second board a little.

For the floor.

Before installing the subfloor

We need to install some mounts.

So I've been cutting them out.

Tubi's floor...

The floor...

Isn't all the same shape.

Take a look.

I cut these pieces out.

They have to be custom fit.

So I'm testing their fit.

A little later

The subfloor

Will be screwed down to these mounts.

On to the next step.

The mounts I cut ealier

Will be bolted down with the existing bolts.

So I tested a couple of them.

This hole was a failure.

This is the second attempt.

And it fits.

It doesn't stick out.

It's flush with the board.

You can see the rest of the mounts.

We tested this one too.

Now we have to prepare the rest of the mount.

While working...

We're in trouble.

It started pouring rain again

So even though we didn't do much today.

We have to wrap things up.

So...

Tomorrow we'll have to finish up.

I'm going to close up Tubi.

And get out of here!

Bye!

Camp Wedding // Catherine & Peter - Duration: 9:40.

[Music]

[Group Chatter]

[Bride's Dad] Well, welcome to camp. Margaret and I just

welcome you to our home. It's a one of

these events that has been in our mind

since Catherine was born. Not that many

years ago. And even back then, even back

then, as we're walking along the road.

I think of this.

So, um ...

As I was thinking of that.

I'm wondering who is it, who is it

that God has intended for her because I

do believe that these things are

important to God. And that he watches

over then. So we prayed for Catherine and we

prayed that God would bring a man into her

life. That would be a perfect for her.

[Laughter & Crowd Noise]

[Groom's Dad] We're so happy that Peter met a loving and

generous, bubbly personality like Catherine.

We're thrilled to be here

ourselves and celebrate both of you for the weekend.

[Peter's twin standing with Catherine's twin] Being a twin is probably the

most special thing you could ever imagine.

It means you have a best friend

and a number one fan for life. So we are

so thankful the Peter and Cat found each

other and both know what that bond is like.

[Bride's Uncle] As I've grown to know you Peter and

your dry wit.

I think it's wit.

[Laughter]

I've just come to know the man you are and want to

thank you so much for loving my niece.

And for being a Godly man that can, that

can be with her for the rest of her life.

[Speaker] The best way to describe

Catherine is she is content and happy.

And she's always been that way.

I'm thrilled to have been around her and

I'm better off having been around Catherine.

[Groom] Our families are very

different and that's funny in a lot of

ways. And the thing that we do know we

have in common is that our families love

us. And we're very thankful and we feel

very loved. And just very grateful to all

of you. So thank you for being here and

we'd love to say hi.

[Cheers & Clapping]

[Music]

[Giggling & Laughter]

[Catherine] You look so good! Look at the suit.

We have not canoed together ever! We're about to.

[Bridemaids] Wow. That'll be fun.

[Music]

[Groomsman] Alright. Let's go with the 15 and see how

that works. [Groom] Okay.

[Music]

[Groomsman] This is rough.

[Mother of the Bride] Awe, I use to do all of your dresses.

Because like a bow a certain way.

[Catherine] You do like a bow a certain way.

[Bride's Twin] Perfect.

[Bride] I can't look at you.

[Alexa] Would you like to hear the next 5 items?

[Groom] Yes.

[Alexa] One million Cuban cigars.

[Laughter]

[Bridesmaid] It's perfect.

Everything is perfect.

[Bride] I love it! Let's do this.

[Groom Prayer] Thank you for this this day and these

moments. And I pray that we would, we would soak them

in and enjoy them and be present. Calm

our nerves Father, dry our tears.

Fill this place with you Spirit and your presence.

Amen.

[Bride] Woo.

[Groom] Alright.

[Bride] Okay well I'll see you in a little bit.

[Groom] See ya.

[Bride] Can't wait. [Groom] Yep.

[Bride] Okay. Are you going to cry?

[Groom] I might.

[Music]

[Pastor] Peter and Catherine this is a new time

for you. Your marriage is a new thing

where you're leaving your family and

cleaving to each other. And you're

weaving a life together.

And all of it's new. There are new things

that you are and then new things that

you'll do. And new ways that you'll love

and the way that your think. Because you

have a new life together. It's a blessing

to have your best friend love you. To know

everything about you.

Failures and all. You can still say I

want you. I'm committed to you. I love you.

[Music]

[Peter] I Peter take you Catherine.

[Pastor] To be my wedded wife [Peter] to be my wedded wife

[Pastor] and I do promise and covenant

[Peter] and I do promise and covenant

[Pastor] before God in these witnesses

[Peter] before God in these witnesses

[Pastor] To be your loving and faithful husband

[Peter] To be your loving and faithful husband

[Bride] I Catherine take you Peter

[Pastor] to be my wedded husband

[Bride] To be my wedded husband

[Pastor] and I do promise and covenant

[Bride] and I do promise and covenant

[Pastor] before God in these witnesses

[Bride] before God in these witnesses

[Pastor] To be your loving and faithful wife

[Bride ] To be your loving and faithful wife

[Pastor] I declare that Pet er and Catherine are now

husband and wife according to the ordinance of God

as well as the state of North Carolina.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy

Spirit. What therefore God has joined

together let no man separate.

You may now kiss the bride.

[Cheers] [Music]

It is my privilege to present to you for the

first time, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Elbaum.

[Cheers]

[Music]

[Bride] Oh, this is so fun. This is the best part of the day.

That's perfect.

[Band] Please welcome Mr. & Mrs. Peter Elbaum!

[Cheers]

And with that, a warm welcome to the new BMW 5 Series Estate

Well yes this wasn't the best transition, yet everyone knows the experience sitting in the back of the car for hours as a kid

And yes the BMW 5 Series is the perfect fit for families with a lot of luggage

More elegant than my transition is the Estate itself

The one we have here is based on the "luxury line" and therefore in the more uncles looking style

As always we start with the design cues

The front fascia makes it 100% clear this is BMW with the big double grille or kidneys

The inner parts of the kidneys are actively closing and opening in terms of CO2-Emissions or air cooling

However there is more such as the close by headlights which are now connected to the kidneys

With that in mind the car looks wider and more solid on the road

By looking at the side there we have the 18inch wheels at first hand - standard with the luxury line -

However the luxury line can be equipped with 19inch as well, the 5 Series Estate has rim options from 17 to 20inch

With the Luxury line we get a lot of chrome parts, such as the frame around the side windows

Yet there is another chrome part such as the air breather down here, which is not for good looks but for aerodynamics improvement

At the back there is of course a big trunk but let's take a look at this first

Because as always there is the rear window that could be opened without opening the whole trunk

New to the 5 Series Estate is the optional opener with a simple kick of the foot underneath the boot

The trunk capacity is from 570 to 1.700 liters if all the seats are folded down

And the 5 Series Estate can load up to 730kgs

A nice feature to me is that we can also close the boot with a kick of the foot

For the launch on Germany there are only four engines available such as the 540i, 530d, 530i and the one we have here 520d

The 520d is a four cylinder diesel with rear-wheel-drive optional 8-speed-automatic (standard 6-speed-manual)

The power output is rated at 190hp, torque is at 400 Nm and the fuel consumption should be about 4.2 l/100km

All four engines mentioned can pull up to 2 tonnes

And the Estate in all cases has a standard air suspension at the rear axle to keep a constant level no matter how much is loaded

In our case the car is equipped with the optional adaptive dampers that you may know already from the BMW 540i Sedan Review

There have been a few question concerning the engines

Will there be a BMW M5 Estate?

Maybe there will be one, maybe there won't because there are two answers to that question

Frank van Meel stated in an Interview that an BMW M3 Touring makes no sense in the specific market, so maybe a M5 Touring has more "sense"

However the BMW M5 Sedan is primarily sold in the United States and they simple don't care that much for Estates

Another question was if there will be a 5 Series Estate Hybrid

So far the BMW 5 Series Estate is not planned as a Hybrid Model, Plug-in Hybrid to be more precise

And that is because a PHEV is primarily sold outside of Europe, so there is no case for a Europe Estate to be built as PHEV

Welcome inside the 5 Series Estate, we start with a look into the second row where Fabian with his height of 1.80m takes a seat

As you can see there is more than enough space for him in the back

According to BMW there is enough space for three booster seats, however there are only two ISOFIX preparations

Now let's get to the details of the interior such as the materials

WE don't have much time, so if you like to go into more detail there is another review of the Sedan which is more into that

You will find that link down below

In general we have more or less the same colors in this bright brown look

Let's get to the cognac style leather of the armrest and the seats

The processing of the seats at all is very good, with this dark stitching and the grey highlights

The seats itself are not typical BMW, more comfortable than you would expect them to be and less sporty

Another material is dark dashboard next to the black gloss panel topped up with a metal looking element separating it to the brown leather

The center console is dominated by the 10.25inch touchscreen that can also be operated by voice commands or gesture control and the iDrive Controller

I prefer this gesture for the sound controls

Furthermore the entertainment could be controlled by touch or the iDrive Controller, such as your voice

Personally I was amazed by the key that can do so many things with its touch interface

BMW is known for its straight six cylinder engines, however they also make great straight four cylinder engines such as as this one

The diesel engine is - typical BMW - enjoyable to drive because of its natural rev mentality

Yet there is beside the comfort mode also the sport mode which we're choosing now

The instance change in throttle response and revving is just pure BMW

The Setting of the adaptive dampers inside the Estate is different from the setting we already know from the Sedan

Therefore the Estate is more comfortable to drive than the Sedan, yet it is still pretty much BMW and so dynamic!

For instance on the motorway it is gentle and soft, yet on the country road it is dynamic, agile and fun

In generel the BMW 5 Series Estate is more quiet than before, more enjoyable and less demanding on longer trips

There was one key aspect that was a little bit negative to my mind in the Sedan, I'm going to alter that now

It was about the Harman/Kardon Soundsystem, which is actually a great fit for the Estate because it works well with the cabin and maybe there has been some changes to the software

Now we're on the motorway, and yes that BMW 520d Touring will go easy above 220kph on open roads

Yet this part is about the driving assistance systems in the 5 Series available

There is the lane keeping assist, the cruise control which we'll set with the click wheel, the cancel-button, the distance button and the limiter

We're drivng a 100kph zone and I active the cruise control, which is then set to the current speed of the car

Currently we're driving 101kph, with a simple switch on the button we can set it to the allowed 100kph

The navigation displays already that there is a 80kph zone coming so, with another klick we can set it already to the allowed setting

I like that feature quite much because it helps you save money on speeding tickets.

Of course you have to react on the helping features the car is offering you in the head-up display, which is just great btw

Now I'm activating the steering assist, so there is autonomous driving right around the corner however it's not yet allowed in Germany

So I'm obligated to keep the hands on the steering, yet I like to show you how well the system works

It steers back into the center by itself, which works perfectly

Because we're entering a slight left turn the steering assist has to adjust a little

The system itself is nearly as good as the one in the E-Class out of Stuttgart

Now we're driving between some yellow lines (Road works) and entering another white line, let's see what the systems are doing

And yes the system changes back in between the while lines (end of road works)

Starting with Level 4 autonomous driving we may relax while driving on the motorway

There is also a lane change assist, which works by initiating a change of lanes by pulling the indicator

The sensors in the back check if the left lane is free and then turn over to make the lane change with a slight help of steering angle

Now again: in front of us is a lorry, the cruise control decelerates and we'd like to change lanes

And by setting the turn indicator the systems will react, speed up the car and change lanes if it's safe to move over

Estate Country Germany your next BMW 5 Series is ready for you

Now it's also up to you if you prefer the 5 Series or the E-Class?

Both cars couldn't be more different, the E-Class is the more comfortable even more spacious car

And the 5 Series on the other is the more dynamic car even with the small four cylinder diesel Engine

And yet BMW changed the 5 Series to make it more comfortable inside the cabin

And with all the options and of course the adaptive dampers, this 5 Series Estate is quite the dynamic one

'Charlie Hunnam's Story That You Can't Unhear' Ep. 105: Talking with Chris Hardwick - Duration: 3:15.

Uh, we have time for one more question, I believe.

One more fan question.

(audience applause)

(Chris) Hey, what's your name?

Hi, Gina from Los Angeles.

(Chris) And what's your question?

Uh, what was it like shooting in a jungle for "Lost City of Z"?

Uh, it was wonderful.

It's amazing to be somewhere that was so vital

and, like, filled with life.

And, you know, we all-- this climate change

and overpopulation and everything, I think,

have a tendency to get very, uh, neurotic

and upset about the state of the world,

and it was really reassuring and exciting

to be somewhere that was so filled with life.

But, obviously, it had its downsides too,

'cause some of that life wants to kill you.

(audience laughter)

I had a rather unpleasant interaction

with a, um, beetle, um, that burrowed its way

into my ear while I was sleeping.

(audience groaning)

And-and-and got in, but...

(bleep). Oh, God!

(Charlie Hunnam) Yeah, man. (audience laughter)

It got in, but then it couldn't get back out.

Oh, God! (audience groaning)

It had never had to walk backwards before,

and it wasn't sure exactly-- And you were worried about shaking a sweaty guy's hand,

And you had a (bleep) beetle burrowing in your brain?

Dude, so it got there,

and it hit the, uh, eardrum.

And it couldn't go any further.

And it panicked.

So it just thought it would bite and chew its way through.

Oh, God! (audience groaning)

So, it-it bit a-a hole in my eardrum,

so I woke up to this sort of pneumatic--

what sounded like a pneumatic drill in my ear,

as it was, like, burrowing around, panicking.

And I had wanted the--

We were working six days a week,

and it was our-- on a day off the next day,

and I didn't want to bother anyone,

but we were in the jungle in the middle of nowhere. (laughter)

So I had one of those, you know, like, uh, irrigation pumps.

(Chris) Yeah. And I just filled it up with water,

and stuck it in my ear, and tried to like,

you know, flush him out.

And nothing came out, but he stopped moving,

so I thought, "All right, this is gonna be okay."

So I went back to bed.

(Chris) What!? What happened--

There's-- I know.

I was-- There's still a beetle in your head.

I work hard. I was tired.

So I went back to sleep,

and I woke up the next morning,

and it was moving around again,

and I said, "Oh, man, we're gonna have to do something about this."

So I called production.

And they called an ambulance.

And an ambulance came to the hotel,

but the, uh, medic didn't speak any English.

And so, she brought the receptionist of the hotel with her.

So she came and put the instrument in my ear,

and had a little look around.

And then, I was just, like, trying to make eye contact with her

to-to discern what actually was happening.

She didn't look to me,

she looked at the receptionist from the hotel,

and went...

(audience laughter)

And handed him the, uh, the scope,

and then he had a look in my ear.

And I thought, "All right, this is probably the point

"where we go to hospital, 'cause, uh, this is, uh--

"this is not--" Did they-they pull the beetle out?

Yeah, they had to flush it out.

And it was, uh-- Did you keep it?

No, it was a very sad story for me and the beetle.

You know, the irr-- the pump that they used

is very powerful, so the beetle sort of disintegrated.

(bleep) that guy. (bleep).

I felt bad, honestly. Seriously, how dare you crawl into your ear?

No, I-I really, I wanted to figure out a way

to get him out alive, but...

I thought maybe we could've made friends.

Oh, God!

POLLEN COUNT DOWN A LITTLE BIT.

BACK DOWN TO MODERATE LEVEL,

TREE POLLEN.

UV INDEX STILL UP THERE BECAUSE

OF THE SUNSHINE.

MOST OF THE CLOUD COVER IN THIS

THAT WAS GIVING US THE RAIN OVER

THE WEEKEND AS WELL INTO PARTS

OF EASTERN CANADA.

BOSTON IS ONLY 47 RIGHT NOW.

50'S ALL THE WAY TO CHICAGO AND

CINCINNATI.

A LITTLE SUNSHINE SO WE ARE IN

THE 60'S BUT THAT COMPARES TO A

LOT OF 80'S OVER THE MIDWEST AND

-- NEXT DOUBLE OF DAYS, NOT

AT.

-- NOT BAD.

A GOOD TURN OUT TO BE A COOL AND

RAINY DAY ON SATURDAY, BUT

MOTHER'S DAY IS SHOWING A LITTLE

MORE PROMISE.

NOT A BEAUTIFUL DAY, BUT IT

COULD BE A LITTLE BETTER.

SHOWERS COULD GET OUT OF HERE.

YOU MAY SEE A LITTLE DRYING.

IT WILL STAY ON THE COOLER SIDE
