Vintage Furnishings LEFT BEHIND: Hidden Abandoned Hotel - Urbex Lost Places Harz Germany - Duration: 10:24.

Last time on Abandoned Harz Hotels.

Okay, so we're thinking that this place...

...must be really unknown.

Every room is still furnished.

There are no graffitis on the walls.

No broken windows...

All of these rooms...

...are in pretty good shape. There's a TV in every room!

The gorgeous and peaceful Harz Mountains in the heart of Germany...

...are an ideal place for abandoned buildings.

The climate is harsh and the weather erratic...

...which encourage decay and offers eerily beautiful sceneries from time to time.

In some cases the vacancy is alarmingly high...

...which leads to a high number of abandoned properties like factories and sanatoriums.

But most of all...

...abandoned hotels.

With borrowed equipment we're embarking on a journey through time.

Off the beaten tourist path we're looking for forgotten witnesses of the past.

This is part two of Abandoned Harz Hotels.

We had a great start and packed full of motivation we headed to the second site for the day.

Our destination was another abandoned hotel...

...but it was quite different from the first one.

Nestled on a hillside hidden behind trees this place can be easily missed.

However, finding an access was super easy.

The hotel is composed of an older and a newer building as well as spa area.

According to our information this place has been abandoned since 2003.

Most of the rooms in the newer building are completely empty now.

The only thing you can find in here is vegetation - mainly moss - reclaiming the site.

Here isn't that much left but take a look at that! - A shoe polisher!

"out of order"

When we got to the old building part we were really impressed.

There was stuff everywhere!

This was a welcome contrast to the other half of the hotel.

Things like furniture and personal documents were stored here.

And just when we thought that this sleeping beauty wasn't discovered by any vandals and graffiti sprayers yet...

...we noticed that there must have been a big fire here.

Because of the ramshackle looks of the old building's upper floors we didn't risk to explore them.

Later we've found out that firefighters had to advance around four years ago after a case of arson.

The real highlight of this site was a small house right next to the hotel.

It looked like a home but probably was some kind of guesthouse.

While the ground floor looked some kind of emptied out...

...the other floors were full of vintage furniture and belongings which were left behind.

The visit felt a bit like a time travel back to the 80's.

Like so many times before the reason why this site has been abandoned is unknown to us.

In the spa area decay really becomes noticeable.

There was a big swimming hall but the roof collapsed some time ago.

There were tanning beds and sweat baths too.

Despite the fire, collapses and mold we could have spend hours in this abandoned hotel.

You won't find a place like this easily.

But there was one more abandoned hotel we wanted to see on this day.

Next time on Abandoned Harz Hotels.

This was part two of our new urbex series.

In two weeks we will release the third and final episode for now.

If you haven't seen the first one already you should definitively catch up.

C'ya next time!

🙏 KESHA È TORNATA! - "PRAYING" VIDEO REACTION | Edo - Duration: 4:11.

Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel!

Today I'm gonna record my video reaction of

Kesha's third album first single

That will be out on 11th August

This single is titled "Praying"

I heard the video is very emotional, lyrics too.

Kesha is back after a very long hiatus

These years have been very painful for her career

She denounced her ex-producer Dr. Luke for mental and sexual abuse.

After these years of reprise

She's finally BACK!

She released this new single which I'm very curious about

Dont' waste time and let's begin!

I'm online on Youtube

The video is here

Let's see!

I have no idea what to expect!

Here we go, a very dark beginning!

It's pretty obvious that this is an open letter for Dr. Luke

Very sofisticated look

She's very inspired by hippie culture

Kinda of

Very colorful

Very deep lyrics

I really like these parts full of colours

Very though anyway.

These lyrics remind me of "Fighter"

By Christina Aguilera

Songs about redemption

The background is cool, tho.

If anyone knows what place is, please comment

Vocally speaking she really improved!

Maybe 'cause we used to associate her to dance music

Maybe some aspects didn't come out

Wow, those run!

She even walks on water

Cool! "The beginning" instead of "The end"

She decided to open this new era with a powerful ballad.

IKinda predictable, but..

The song is very very very beautiful!

Lyrics are very deep.

I liked the video!

Let me know if you like this video or not

Answer the poll on above

"Like" my video if you want.

Battle of Idistaviso: The Roman Revenge on Teutoburg - Duration: 10:21.

It's september of the year 9

An alliance of germanic tribes led by Arminius

ambushed and destroyed 3 roman legions

The Battle of Teutoburg Forest

is seen as one of the most crushing defeats

of entire roman history

Despite the incredible shock

Emperor Augustus sent his stepson Tiberius to seek revenge against the barbarians

Tiberius didn't just contain the revolt, demonstrating his great skill as general

but organized a real expedition in which he destroyed many germanic villages

With Augustus' passing, Tiberius became princeps

and sent his nephew to finish the job, Germanicus

Germanicus was the son of Drusus the Elder

the conqueror of all Germanies

At just 28, he pushed the roman dominion up to the Elba river.

So motivated by the desire to emulate his father,

the roman general led 8 legions across the Rhine

During these military operations

no barbarian was spared.

After pacifing several tribes

who supported the revolt,

Germanicus arrived in the location where Varus was ambushed

the dreadful view of the dead tortured bodies

motivated even more the roman soldiers to find the rebels.

Arminius finally showed off.

The germanic leader tried to ambush the roman army twice:

the first time Arminius attacked Germanicus in person;

The roman cavalry panicked,

but the legions were able to counter-attack

saving the day.

In the second occasion the rebels attacked Germanicus second-in-command,

Aulus Cecina Severus.

The germanic tactic was always the same:

ambush the enemy

using natural hiding places

such as forests and swaps.

But Cecina wasn't unprepared as Varus:

He was a skilled officer

with 40 years of military experience.

When the battle got worse,

Cecina was able to turn the situation in his favour

and defeat the germanic army.

But Arminius managed to escape.

After several months spent in the winter quarters,

Germanicus realized that

an invasion through the dark woods of Germania

would have been a suicide.

Besides, legions struggled to march in a land without proper roads.

So the roman general decided to move his army by sea

In this way the Romans got to the core of Germania

without any casualty.

Finally the two armies faced each other

on the banks of Weser River.

Before the clash

Arminius asked of his brother Flavus

who fought with the Romans.

The two argued a lot

Arminius tried to persuade his brother to join the revolt

But Flavus strongly refused

In the end the discussion became a fraternal scuffle.

After this meeting, Germanicus commanded the crossing of the river

In order to avoid enemy attack

he sent his cavalry against the barbarians.

The Batavi, a tribe from modern Netherlands

which served in roman army as auxiliary unit

charged the rebels.

Initially Arminius commanded the retreat

but after bringing the roman allies far away from the legions

he stopped and turned back

It was all a move to attract and encircle them alone.

The Batavi suffered heavy losses

but in the end roman cavalry rescued them

During the night

one rebel with a knowledge of latin, came in front of the Castra

in the name of Arminius

promising to each deserter money, women and lands.

This proposal fired the anger of the legions.

The Romans answered that they would take women and lands, of course

but only when they defeat them.

In responde, lately, germanic troops tried to attack the camp

that the Romans had built

but the legionaries pushed them back.

The next morning the two armies moved themself on the field of Idistaviso

On one hand Germanicus organized his men in this way:

Germanic and Gallic auxilia

Archers on foot behind

followed by 4 legions

2 pretorian cohorts

and 2 alae of cavalry

Lastly the other 4 legions

the light infantry and horse archers

The germanic army was in front of them

except for Arminius and his tribe, the Cherusci

who awaited on nearby wooded hills

"The Romans were alert and ready, so arranged that the order of march could come to an halt in line of battle."(Tacitus)

The clash started with the attack from the hills by the Cherusci.

Germanicus sent his cavalry to hit the flanks if the enemy

his objective was to envelop them

After that he ordered to the legions to move forward

The impact was extremely brutal

After they faced the roman charge for some time

Germanic forces retreated in a disordered way

Many tried to flee in the forest

and others crossing the Weser River.

Arminius encouraged his men, but it didn't make any difference.

The battle got better for Germanicus' men

and quickly turned into a slaughter.

At the end of the day

the field was full of germanic bodies.

Legionaries built a monument with the names of all the defeated tribes

in honour of the Emperor Tiberius.

Provokated by the enemy celebrations

the barbarians stopped themself from the retreat

and started preparing an other assault.

Arminius chose a field surrounded by the Weser River and the forest.

The germanic infantry deployed on "Vallum Angrivarianum"

a wall built to divide Cherusci from Angrivari.

Moreover Arminius hid his cavalry in the near forest

in order to attack from the rear the Romans

But, unfortunately for the germanic leader

Germanicus was informed by his spies about this plan

and organized consequently his army.

He placed his cavalry on the field and split the legions in two parts:

the first against the Vallum

the second against the forest.

The legions advenced toward the wall

but the bombardment from the top was too heavy.

So Germanicus changed tactic.

He ordered to the infantry to move back and commanded to the slingers to attack the defenders.

It worked.

The projectiles mixed up the defenders

and the legions were able to conquer the Vallum.

After that, Germanicus led the charge in the woods

at the head of the pretorian cohorts

This time the battlefield was surrounded by many natural obstacles

and both formations would not have possibility to flee.

They ought to fight for their survival

for this reason, the second battle

was even more brutal than the first one.

The skirmish was balanced for a while

and the rebels used all their "Furor Teutonicus"

the famous germanic fury.

Nevertheless, in a so confined space, rebels couldn't use properly their long spears

On the contrary

the legionaries advanced in a solid formation

protecting by their shields and twirling their "gladii"

the roman short swords

causing heavy casualties among the enemies.

Arminius himself was seriously wounded

and started to give ground to the Romans

The moment was crucial and Germanicus understood that

He took off the helmet

so everybody, romans and barbarians, could recognize him

then shouted to his men:

The germanic army was already defeated

but the legions continued to fight until the night.

It was an unspeakable massacre.

The next day Germanicus praised his legions

raising a pile of weapons

with a legend boasting that "the army of Tiberius Caesar

after pacifing the nations between the Rhine and the Elbe

had consacrated that memorial to Mars, to Jupiter and to Augustus.

For Rome it was a large victory

and a desired revenge

Despite the sink of part of the fleet in the way back to Gallia

Germanicus organized an other expedition for the year 17

The germanic tribes were on the verge of defeat

and was necessary a final blow to finish the war

but then, the plot twist

Tiberius recalled his nephew to Rome

considering useless an other campaign.

The germanic tribes would fight each other, keeping safe the empire.

But, according to Tacitus

The emperor was jealous of the military success and incredible consensus of Germanicus

In my opinion, Rome lost an incredible strategic opportunity

to terminate once for all the instability of the germanic front

avoiding the war

Romans preserved the same tribes that a few centuries later

will cause serious problem for them

But that is an other story.

4 Wrestlers Who HATED Each Other IN REAL LIFE! - Duration: 9:34.

The world of professional wrestling is filled with feuds and hatred. Steve Austin hated

his boss Mr. McMahon, Jinder Mahal hates America, the NWO hated WCW, Vince Russo hates logic.

But sometimes those feuds can spill into real-life, causing friction and issues backstage - like

Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart's infamous backstage rivalry during their time on top

in WWF and Scott Steiner reportedly threatening to KILL Hulk Hogan, getting himself banned

from WWE's Hall of Fame in the process.

I am Luke Owen, and in this video we're going to explore some of the other real-life

heat and hate between wrestlers. Here are four wrestlers who hated each other in real-life...volume

1.

Sin Cara v ADR

Sin Cara – the original one that is – came to WWE with a lot of hype behind him in 2011.

After all this was the famous Mistico, one of the most popular stars in Mexican wrestling.

Fellow Mexican star Alberto Del Rio also had a lot of fanfare when he arrived in WWE the

year previous, but the two had legitimate hatred for each other outside the ring. In

2012, Konnan revealed on MLWRadio that the heat between them in Mexico was so visceral,

Mistico once pulled a gun on Alberto. Del Rio said in a YouShoot that it was one of

Mistico's posse that actually pulled a gun, and the two buried that hatchet in WWE.

"He apologised, he was like, 'that happened and I'm sorry. I was a little bit tipsy'"

– Alberto El Patron, YouShoot, 2015 Later on in their career, Del Rio got into

an in-ring altercation with Sin Cara during a match they had on the August 19th edition

of Monday Night Raw. The very first move of the match saw Del Rio kick Sin Cara and he

dislocated his finger. Cara then did a suicide dive which made the injury worse, and he asked

for the ref to stop the match. Del Rio was visibly mad about this, and starting hitting

Sin Cara for real.

"There was super, super heat. I cannot express how much heat there is on Sin Cara because

of the feeling that (with) dislocated fingers you don't quit." – Dave Meltzer, Wrestling

Observer Radio, August 19th, 2013.

"I got mad because he broke his finger doing a dive and he told the ref to stop the match.

And I was like, 'Vince isn't here and… you lazy bastard stopped the match because

you broke one of your fingers'. I got really mad. I threw him into the ring and kicked

him for real." Alberto El Patron, YouShoot, 2015

John Morrison and Trish Stratus

During John Morrison's near 10 year stint in WWE, he only had one WrestleMania match

of any significant note: WrestleMania 27, where Morrison teamed with a retired Trish

Stratus and Jersey Shore star Snooki to take on Dolph Ziggler and LayCool. The match was

centred around Trish and Snooki, which made sense as Jersey Shore was a huge cultural

TV show at the time, and Trish was a coach on that season of WWE's Tough Enough. However

Morrison didn't feel that was fair.

Morrison was upset because he felt his real-life girlfriend Melina should have been in the

match along with Kelly Kelly, who was replaced with Snooki. The original plan for that year's

Mania was a multi-woman match featuring all the regular performers, but due to time constraints

it was cut and the trios match only featured two active women on the roster: Michelle McCool

and Layla. Morrison reportedly wouldn't work with Stratus backstage, and shot down

everything she suggested.

"When they were laying out the match, Stratus was pushing hard to get her spots in and there

was resentment that she was trying to be the "star" of the match." – Dave Meltzer,

Wrestling Observer, April 13th 2011

The real key to the match was right at the end. After the good guys won, Trish went to

raise Morrison's arm in victory – and he walked away. In what has since been called

"the cold shoulder moment", Morrison shunned Trish and Snooki as a sign of solidarity with

Melina.

"I just said to him, 'Hey, your career is made up of moments, so now you've taken

a moment from the fans, really.' Because they don't care about backstage politics,

they don't care if you think your girlfriend should be in that spot or whatever it was.

So he just denied the fans and himself and that's that." – Trish Stratus, George

Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, March 2012.

Konnan v Curtis Axel

The Twitter beef between Konnan and Curtis Axel dates back to 2013 when Axel was a part

of the forgettable tag team RybAxel following a failed singles push. In a series of tweets,

Konnan explained that he would remove Axel from TV if he was in charge of WWE, calling

him boring, with no charisma and the personification of Wonderbread.

Axel - the son of Mr. Perfect and grandson of Larry The Axe Hennig - didn't respond

at first, but eventually fired back with: "Well what do ya know! Looks like @Konnan5150

is trying to gain social media popularity by talking about a REAL Superstar!"

Konnan replied with: "dont give a f*** about social media popularity..i dont know u and

have nothing against u dude, u just have zero charisma.."

Their Twitter war resurfaced in 2015 when Axel started his Hulk Hogan parody gimmick

with Damien Sandow's Macho Man. Set yourself in folks, this is a lot of Twitter back and

forth which kicked off with a fan saying:

@RealCurtisAxel you put me to sleep @Konnan5150 was right about you #nocharisma

i was haha! Marks!

coming from a guy dressing like Hulk and still can't get over..#Brother

haha! Not even gonna bother... I have a wife, kids and a happy life! I'm having fun and

things will work out! #Mark good, get yours while u can..much respect

for Curt and Larry Thanks, but no thanks! Ill be "getting mine"!

Don't talk of my family like ur a friend... Follow me and we can squash.

like i said i respect them not you jaybrone.keep talking someday u will saysomething intelligent.#WhackAsF***

#JoJoStarbucks I always listen to someone's criticisms! But

not if they were a blown up fatty, lazy worker! Some washed up dude my dad hated putting over,

I won't put over either! #Mark

Mick Foley v Ric Flair

In a day and age where every wrestler has a podcast that details backstage shenanigans,

and anyone else has an autobiography, it's important to remember the significance of

Mick Foley's first book Have a Nice Day, released in 1999. It was the first book that

took many young fans behind the curtains, which was a revelation to those not oh fey

with Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer. But that book also kickstarted a long-running

real-life feud with Foley and the Nature Boy Ric Flair.

When talking about his time in WCW as Cactus Jack, Foley wrote: "Ric Flair was every

bit as bad on the booking side of things as he was great on the wrestling side of it."

– Mick Foley, Have a Nice Day, 1999

From all accounts, Flair wasn't too bothered by the comments at the time. But in his 2004

autobiography To Be The Man, he certainly fired back.

"Foley has a cult following because of his contributions to hardcore wrestling. But hardcore

is such a small part of the history of the business. When I was training, falling off

a ladder was not a prerequisite to making it as a professional wrestler. Being fundamentally

sound was. I don't care how many thumbtacks Mick Foley has fallen on, how many ladders

he's fallen off of, how many continents he's supposedly bled on, he'll always

be known as a glorified stuntman." – Ric Flair, To Be The Man, 2004

He went on to compare Foley to Brutus Beefcake and The Ultimate Warrior, two wrestlers not

known for their in-ring prowess, and noted that the likes of Foley and The Sandman aren't

real wrestlers.

At a Ring of Honor show in October 2004, Foley began a feud with Ricky The Dragon Steamboat

about the merits of traditional wrestling versus hardcore wrestling, where he decided

to use his mic time to shoot on Flair's comments. "I'm no Ric Flair because I've

never carried Batista's bags. I'm no Ric Flair because every once in a while I actually

say something different. I'm no Ric Flair because I actually put my body on the line.

I don't do stupid things like [The Flair Flop]. I am no Ric Flair, and thank God for

that." – Mick Foley, October, 2004

This led to an infamous moment backstage at a Raw taping in December 2004, where Foley

walked up to Flair with a copy of his book and asked Ric to sign it. When Ric offered

a handshake, Foley refused. So Ric stood up and got physical. "I wanted to embarrass

Ric in front of the boys, so I walked up to him with a copy of the book and asked him

to sign it for me. I had envisioned a lot of scenarios, but I didn't picture one where

Ric got up and punched me." - Mick Foley, Wooooooo! Nation with Ric Flair, June 2015

The two had to be pulled apart, with Flair challenging Foley to walk down to the ring

and wrestle for real before the show. Instead they hashed out their differences in Head

of Talent Relations John Lauranitis' office, where Foley asked Ric to apologise and admit

he was a good worker. When Flair refused, Foley asked out of the two of them who drew

more money, and Flair conceded. They eventually talked out their differences on a plane ride,

and had two big feuds that stemmed from these altercations in WWE in 2005 and TNA in 2010.

Is LGBT+ content appropriate for kids? with Lindsay from Queer Kid Stuff | Riley J. Dennis - Duration: 9:16.

- Hey everybody, today I'm here with:

- Lindsay.

- Yeah, she has a really great channel

called Queer Kid Stuff

and today I just kinda wanna talk about LGBT+ stuff

and talking about that stuff with kids

and is that an appropriate topic and all of that stuff.

Can you just tell me a little bit about your channel

and what you do?

- Yeah, okay.

I do LGBTQ+ education for kids

ages three and up, pretty much.

So it's like all-ages content.

And it's something I've been wanting to do for a while.

I used to do it in theater

and then I transitioned into digital platforms

with the work I was doing.

The biggest thing for me is about

media representation for children

about just general diversity and inclusion,

just showing the world as it is

with all the different colors and identities and humans

that live in it

and making sure that,

content right now is so focused on what's normalized

and that really feeds into children's content

in a very pervasive, overwhelming way,

and diversity is hard to come across in children's content.

- A little bit.

A little bit. - Yeah, just a little bit.

I mean, it's generally hard to come across in any content.

- Yeah, yeah.

But one of the things I've noticed in a lot of media

is even when it becomes okay for two men to kiss onscreen

or two women to kiss onscreen in an adult show

or in just a regular TV show or whatever,

it's still inappropriate for that to happen in a kids show.

It's like people are able to be like,

"Oh this is okay, just not for children."

It's like they've kind of accepted it but not really.

- I think it's very tied to this stigma around queerness

and the fact that

if you're talking about queerness with children

that you have to explain queer sex to children.

And that's just,

it's this huge misconception

that children equate sexuality with sex.

Because here's the thing: children don't know what sex is.

They're not coming at queerness from that context,

which is the context that adults are coming from,

and why a lot of queerness is taboo

is because your sex looks different for adults who are queer

versus adults who are straight.

- I think people sexualize queer people in general.

- Yeah, definitely. - It's like with children

to a three-year-old girl, you can be like,

"She's gonna have a strong boyfriend someday."

or "She's gonna be such a princess when she grows up,"

and that's really gendered stuff,

but it's also about their sexual orientation.

It's like saying the people they will date in the future

and that's okay,

but if it's the other way around,

then it's like you're sexualizing them somehow.

- Yeah, and what's important about it is that

kids understand the two things that are important

about sexuality and identity,

which are gender and love and romance

and connections with humans and empathy.

Kids understand those concepts,

and you can talk about queerness in terms of those ideas

and sex doesn't have to be a part of the conversation.

And that's kind of what I try and do on the channel

is bring these ideas that can be so complex

and heavy and confusing to adults

and show that they can be very simplified

and they can be understandable

from a three-year-old's perspective

and that it's not a hard thing to wrap your brain around.

- Yeah, I feel like one of the things

when we talk about sexuality

is people focus so much on sexual attraction

and not on romantic attraction,

and forget that oftentimes gay people or bisexual people

are also biromantic or homoromantic or whatever.

It is about love a lot of the time and not just sex.

- Yeah, I worked on a video on defining what asexual is,

and that was really interesting to talk about for children

because I did have to avoid sex,

'cause it's not appropriate.

Also, sex doesn't concern children.

It's not something they need to know about.

I mean, reproduction is important for children to understand

because babies are in three-year-olds' lives,

and that's something that can be conceptualized

on their level.

But you don't need to talk about sex with kids.

It's just not necessary.

There's sex-ed topics that should be talked about,

I did a consent episode I thought was important,

but yeah, in my asexual episode

I basically talked about asexuality as aromanticism,

and talking about different kinds of love,

so looking at platonic relationships,

and looking at romantic relationships,

and then kind of using a metaphor of like,

kissing for sex.

So it's definitely something you can touch upon.

- 'Cause it's simplifying things for children.

- Yeah, exactly. - Trying to bring it down

to that level so that they can understand.

They don't know attraction and all that,

they know liking people and not liking people or whatever.

- And there was a,

I came up in theater for young audiences,

and so I had this fantastic playwriting teacher,

this professor of mine in undergrad

who always told me to write children's content

from under the doorknob.

So looking at the world from a perspective of smallness.

'Cause children are just little people.

And people just forget

that children are also humans with brains

and capabilities and autonomy.

So it's about respecting a child's brain

as having the same capacity as an adult's

just without the experience.

- One of the things that I think is really important,

in addition to all the education stuff

is just normalizing it, just having that to exist

as a thing that they see.

Can you talk a little bit about that?

- Yeah, I mean it's also about making it fun, too.

That's why I have Teddy on,

that's my childhood toy.

That's from when I was a baby,

and having the songs and stuff,

and making it something that becomes,

something that's not scary to talk about.

A big part of the videos that I make

is about starting a conversation between grown-ups and kids,

and really making it something

that can be talked about regularly,

and if you have the vocabulary for it,

you can integrate it into your life more,

and point out like, if you are watching Beauty and the Beast

and that's a very invisible moment that happens,

and I doubt that kids are actually picking that up,

and so you can have an adult talk to the kid about,

"Did you see that moment?

Let's talk about what happened there."

- Or when a child has same-sex parents

and a lot of people are like,

"How do I explain that to my kid?"

But there are ways to do that,

there are easy ways to explain it.

- Yeah, and there's kind of two camps of it as well,

of making it visible and talking about it directly,

but then also just allowing it to exist in your space

and not even talking about it.

I think it's important for kids,

especially in the climate that we're in

I think it's important to talk about it,

but I wanna live in a world where nobody has to come out.

- Yeah, where it's just a thing, you're like,

"Oh, there are all of these people that are different

and that's cool."

- Exactly.

Apparently, I've heard that kids these days

are cluing in instead of coming out.

- What's cluing in?

- Cluing in is letting people in on the fact that you're gay

rather than it being like, "I'm gay!"

and a big coming-out-of-the-closet moment

because it's not as big of a deal anymore.

- I've seen people criticize it

and say that's not appropriate for that age range,

that you should be making content for an older age group,

and I'm wondering how you would respond to that.

- There's a lot of content

that actually targets those age ranges already,

and that's kind of where,

in most schools, it depends on where you are,

but most schools do start integrating sex ed

in middle school

and talking about these things in middle school

and then in high school, obviously.

But for this age range,

for elementary, preschool,

that's essentially where my content is targeting.

There really isn't any content at all for these age groups,

and I think it's super important to target them

because this is such a formative age

where you're really learning about

the totality of what the world is and who exists in it,

and what the different categories are,

and just building your whole structure

of how the world functions.

And if you're learning about that world

in a way that is normative and focused on the majority,

you're not getting a whole picture of the world,

and you're growing up

in this false sense of what the world is and is like

and who exists in it.

And that's where bigotry happens,

and that's how you internalize homophobia,

and that's how you get people

who don't understand other marginalized identities

because they don't understand that they exist

and they don't understand that oppression exists.

And especially if you're growing up in a conservative space

and you happen to be a queer person

and you find that out later,

that's something you have to unlearn

and work through a lot of internalized bigotry,

and I think if you are talking to kids at this age,

you avoid a lot of that

because you're teaching them correctly the first time.

- You're just teaching them this stuff is normal and okay,

or even that just it exists.

I don't think I knew growing up that trans people existed.

And so just knowing that that was a thing

would've made me feel so much better

when I started to question my own gender.

And I know a lot of other people feel that way,

especially, as you were saying,

if they grow up in conservative spaces.

But I didn't even grow up in that conservative of a space,

it was just like,

"Oh, we don't really talk about it

because it's not a thing that you deal with

unless it directly affects you."

So I dunno,

I'm really glad that you do this stuff that you do,

I think it's really important,

and yeah, thank you for being here.

- Yeah, totally.

- So go check out Lindsay's channel.

I will link it in the description,

it's called Queer Kid Stuff.

Thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you next time.

MIKA Giffoni 2017 - "WHEN PARENTS DON'T LET YOU TRAVELLING" (Eng sub) - Duration: 3:48.

My Question is: In your Childhood you moved sometimes. You're travelling a lot usually.

I think that Travelling, expecially out of our own Country, - It's very important for Personal Education. Expecially for Teenagers.

But there're Parents who doesn't let Travelling Their Children, ever when they're of Legal Age.

In your opinion - Why are they so scared of all that is "outside"? And what would you like to say to these Parents?

This is a Great Privilege as well. It's a Privilege to have a Home & feel Safe.

Many of others don't have it now. Let's see what happens in Syria.

5.000.000 should move from their Home. They lost everything & now they are living In Refugee Camps & Accommodation centres.

It's the Opposite of what you're speaking to. Your Question let me think about this Because ones I met a Guy in UNHCR.

In "Accommodation centres for Syrian Refugees" I met a lot of young people who I spoke with.

There was a Guy who told me - - I always wanted to travel & now.. I'm travelling.. But I'm invisible.. I don't exist in the Society..

They don't have a Passport.. a Permission to work.. They are Refugees in United Nations.

So he said to me: - Now I'm travelling.. But I'm invisible & I don't see anything..

This Situation is Shoking. He's constantly moving with a great Risk.

First he came in Greece And then he made an Illegal Journey to Germany.

And yes, he's travelling, but he's saying: "I wanted always to travelling & now I'm travelling, But I'm invisible & I'm unable to see anything."

I know - this is not a Reply to your Question.

But I think: - It's not a Journey itself to make you see the things. It's not only the Idea of Travelling..

Music.. Art.. Can make you Travel as well.. Can make you Discover the things..

They can make you become more Open-minded than a Holiday in Miami.

Obvious.. it's more fun to have a Parents Telling you - "Go, do what you want"..

But if your Parents are telling you Always: "Go & do what you want.." It's another Extreme which is not very usufull..

I don't know how to reply to you Question.. You made me think about that Guy I met 2 y.a. His Story has had a profound effect on me.

MIKA - "CUCCIOLONE" "COCHON" "CUTIE" (Eng sub) - Duration: 3:22.

He wants so much to ask something.. - Who? That Guy. He keeps his Hand like this for long time.

Should we give him Possibility to speak? - Yes. Let's do it, even if the time of Meeting is almost over.

Hi, Mika. - Hi. A lot of people call you "Cucciolone".

What does it mean? - Cutie. Do you know what is "Cochon" in French? - No.

- It's a Pig. And I was born in a Year of Pig. So I'm "Cochon", "Cochiolino". - But no, it means "Cutie" !

I'd like to understand: How are you able to manage your Creativity With the Requests of Record Company?

I know that you have an Explosive Immagination. It might be in contrast with the Music Industry. Where do you find the Streight to avoid Corruption?

Also.. there's a Person who wants the Picture with you. Can you give me this Opportunity ?

How can I reply quickly to a Question like this?

There's always this Pression : To made a Song Successful from both side - Not only Creative, but Commercial as well.

I don't know how to do it.. honestly.. Sometimes it happens, but often it doesn't..

There's 1 thing I can say: If I find something Interesting - A Song.. a Melody.. a Story..

It will be always Interesting, Even without a Commercial Success.

Often is not the Industry to corrupt you.. But it's this Pression to do it.

But when you have fun like a "crazy fool" - Maybe there's someone or many others in World

That could have fun like you In the same Time & in the same Way When finally your Project is ready to be shown.

This is super Important. To do the Things that You like..

Because, if you like these things, even if They are not good enough to have a Commercial Success as your Industry hoped..

You can always say: - I made a beautiful Thing!

Istead of saying: - I was trying to get a Success. And what I made - it's not very Nice.

And it's not even a Success. So my Final Result is a Shit. That's the Risk you take.

Now about your 2d, super Important Question of doing a Picture with me..

Ok ! With a Pleasure. Thank you all.
