The Only Vitamins You Actually Need On A Daily Basis - Duration: 9:09.

We all have friends who swear by their vitamin routine — their Vitamin C pills prevent

them from getting colds, or their Vitamin D supplement really does boost their mood

in the winter.

But how much of this is the placebo effect?

And how much of it actually works?

The following vitamins are highly recommended for optimal health.

Whether you decide to get these through nutritious foods or quick supplements is up to you.

Vitamin A

It's crucial for our bodies, and it does a lot more than help our peepers.

Vitamin A supports a healthy immune system, reproductive system, cell health, and vision.

Because vitamin A helps produce healthy cells, it also affects our vital organs like the

heart and lungs.

Vitamin A comes in two forms.

First there is preformed vitamin A like retinol.

These carotenoids directly provide our bodies with vitamin A and are found in animal sources

like dairy, fish, and meat — especially liver.

The other type comes in the form of provitamin A carotenoids like beta-carotene.

This is found in darkly-colored fruits and vegetables like carrots, broccoli, cantaloupe,

and squash.

Once we eat those fruits and vegetables, our bodies convert the preformed vitamin A into

vitamin A that our tissues can use.

Most multivitamins contain vitamin A, and women should aim for about 770 micrograms

of vitamin A per day.

Vitamin E

We are constantly exposed to dangerous free radicals from air pollution, ultraviolet radiation,

or just walking through a cloud of cigarette smoke down the street.

That's why it's so critical to have a steady supply of healing antioxidants to keep our

cells from mutating and causing chronic disease.

That's where Vitamin E comes in.

We can get vitamin E from our diets, as well as supplements.

Foods with healthy fats like nuts, seeds, and green leafy vegetables are high in Vitamin

E. While vitamin E is available in supplements, we have to be careful to avoid high doses

— especially if you're taking blood thinners.

Aim to get this vitamin from your diet or a multivitamin.

Folate

Folate is in the B vitamin group, and is crucial for everyone, not just the pregnant ladies.

It can assist in decreasing heart disease, and increase our cognitive abilities and cardiovascular

health.

Because folate is vital for the health of unborn babies, all women considering becoming

pregnant need to ensure that they're taking in enough of it every day.

Some of the best sources of folate come in the form of spinach, asparagus, and Brussels

sprouts, not to mention, nuts, beans, dairy products, meat, seafood, and grains.

If you know you're not getting a ton of these in your diet, folic acid — the synthetic

form of folate — is also available in vitamin B supplements and in multivitamins.

Vitamin C

Ah, cold and flu season.

The time when Vitamin C is flying off the shelves.

While those packets of Emergen-C, and others like it may not prevent that cold, it may

at least shorten it.

It's also vital to forming collagen — the stuff that keeps your skin tight and your

bones strong.

Like vitamin E, vitamin C also contains powerful antioxidants.

Unlike other animals, we humans can't make vitamin C, so we need to take it in every

day.

Oranges are of course great sources of vitamin C, but so are other citrus fruits like grapefruits

and lemons, and vegetables like bell peppers and broccoli.

To get the most vitamin C bang for your buck, enjoy your fruits and veggies raw.

Because this vitamin is water-soluble, heating and cooking your food can decrease the amount

of vitamin that your body can absorb.

Citrus smoothie for breakfast?

Yes, please!

Vitamin B6

Feeling blue or just off?

Make sure you're getting enough vitamin B6.

Vitamin B6 helps the body make serotonin and norepinephrine, which are chemicals that help

the brain send signals.

Not having enough vitamin B6 can lead to problems in the nerves, skin, and circulation.

The jury is still out, but some research has linked taking a vitamin B6 supplement to improved

PMS symptoms.

According to the Mayo Clinic, mild vitamin B6 deficiency is common, so make sure you're

getting enough every day.

It's found in legumes, vegetables, milk, cheese, eggs, and meat, but it's highest in

fish, beef liver, organ meats, and starchy vegetables.

Of course, if the sounds of organ meats make you queasy, there's always vitamin B supplements.

Vitamin B12

Usually found in animal products, Vitamin B12 helps our bodies produce new red blood

cells.

Our bodies can store up to a couple years' worth of vitamin B12 in our livers, so not

everyone needs to take this everyday.

One group that should look into vitamin B12 supplements are vegetarians.

Vitamin B12 binds to the proteins in our food and can be found in fish, shellfish, meat,

eggs, and dairy products.

This is why it can be tricky for strict vegetarians and vegans to get enough of this vitamin.

It's usually not found in plant foods, but now some cereals have been fortified with

vitamin B12.

Vitamin D

Our bodies need vitamin D for healthy bone growth.

Vitamin D is usually added to calcium supplements, because it helps our bodies absorb the calcium.

A vitamin D deficiency will lead to weak, brittle bones and pain.

Unlike the other vitamins in this list, vitamin D isn't so easy to get from food.

We can take in vitamin D from supplements or our bodies can make it when we're exposed

to sunlight.

All you need is 10 minutes outdoors each day to get your fix.

Vitamin D can be found in some fatty fish like salmon or tuna, as well as beef liver,

cheese, and egg yolks.

But why argue with a prescription of daily sunshine?

Calcium

Got milk?

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in our bodies, and has always been famous for protecting

our teeth and bones, but its benefits go far beyond our skeletons.

Calcium has been linked to protecting against cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

It also helps our bodies' nerves and muscles work properly.

Getting enough calcium is especially important for kids, as they won't reach their full adult

height if they're deficient.

Our blood requires a certain amount of calcium in it, so when it's low, our blood just pulls

it from our bones.

This keeps our blood safe and working, but will weaken our bones.

For this reason, it's important to eat calcium-rich foods daily, especially during teenage years.

Of course dairy products like yogurt, cheese, and milk are good sources, but so are leafy

green vegetables, fish, and soy products.

Magnesium

Magnesium is a mineral that we can absorb from food, supplements, or even some medications.

Our bodies need enough magnesium to keep our muscles and nerves working.

Magnesium also helps with controlling blood sugar levels and blood pressure.

It's relatively easy to take in magnesium from our diets.

Some foods that are rich in magnesium include green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole

grains.

Whole wheat bread should be high in magnesium, while other types like white bread have been

stripped of most of their magnesium content.

We can also get magnesium from supplements.

Adults should aim for about 270 to 400 milligrams per day.

If you decide to try the supplement, do yourself — and your family — a favor and take it

with food to avoid diarrhea.

Iron

Our bodies need to receive iron every day to be able to make enough new red blood cells.

Our red blood cells are responsible for bringing fresh oxygen throughout the body.

When we don't have enough iron, we can develop anemia, not to mention a loss of energy, shortness

of breath, and even learning problems.

To make sure you're eating enough iron, look for animal products like lean red meat, chicken,

turkey, and fish.

Women should aim for 10 to 15 milligrams of iron per day.

If you and your doctor decide it's time to try an iron supplement, make sure to take

it on an empty stomach.

So, do we need vitamins?

Our experts agree that the best source of vitamins is our diet.

Whole, fresh, unprocessed foods provide the vitamins our bodies crave.

Board certified rehabilitation specialist Dr. Scott Schreiber focuses on obtaining vitamins

from whole foods.

He says,

"If it grows from the ground, the way nature intended it, vitamins and minerals occur in

their most natural states and can be absorbed the easiest."

Registered dietitian Emily Braaten also recommends trying to obtain as many vitamins from our

diets as possible.

She told us,

"While a multivitamin may be able to fill the gap, it's not absolutely necessary to

rely on supplements to meet our needs.

Simply shifting our eating pattern to include the recommended servings of fruits and vegetables

can cover most of the aforementioned [vitamins]."

If you do decide to jump on the vitamin train, it's important to always talk with your healthcare

provider first.

Most vitamin supplements contain 100 percent of the recommended daily amount, so if you're

already consuming a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables throughout the day, you would

be taking in way more than the National Institutes of Health recommends.

Unfortunately, when it comes to vitamins, you really can have too much of a good thing.

"What is this?!"

"Water!"

"It's horrible!"

💥TBTeek 4-Piece 7 Color Car Auto Atmosphere 👀 TB Teek Underdash LED Interior Lights Product Review👈 - Duration: 8:32.

so today I have an awesome new LED light kit is made by TB Teek and there's a

four piece seven color Auto under - LED light kit with a Bluetooth controller

the instructions say that it's easy to install with 3m double-sided tape so we'll

see what happens here's a closer look at the lights and

kit here is the user manual the four bars are each 8.66 inches

long and they are flexible as well as waterproof you can connect this to the

cigarette lighter in your car or USB port in your car

the instructions say that you can scan the QR code in the instructions to

download the app LED ble Leadville turned on the light strips and then

connect the Bluetooth with the app on your phone after connected to the

Bluetooth control the colors and frequency of the light strips with the

app so I'm going to give us to my boyfriend and see what happens so today

we are reviewing the car atmosphere lights so in the box it's going to come

with this cigarette lighter USB converter you can come with this wire

that runs to your Bluetooth receiver and on the other side it's going to come

with another wire that runs to the splitter right here and connected to

this splitter our four LED strips they are about 10 inches long

and they have 12 RGB LEDs in them when you get this you'll take a QR scanner on

your phone and scan this code and it will bring up an app for you to use just

connect your device via bluetooth to that box and it will come with this app

so in the app in the app you get a color wheel and you can change them to any

color you want so I have them set to green cyan blue

pink purple is red it comes with preset colors so red yellow green cyan blue and

purple and you can load your own different types of colors so if you want

like a green yellow you move it over here and turn its brightness up so we'll

create this color and then on the app you just press and hold the first slot

set it to whatever color they confirm and that color is safe to the spot the

next option you have is to set it to music and here if you have it set to

music you hit the microphone and it starts listening to the music through

your microphone and the LEDs will change with the music before you can set it to

the record start setting and whatever music you're playing through your phone

off of the phone's memory will pop up and it will flash LEDs to that music

if you have any other questions about how these LEDs work they come with a

handy little installation guide and

instruction manual on how to use the app the way I mounted them is not the way

you have to mount them they come with 3m backing tape and so if you were to say

stick them down here in the wheel wells you could take the backing tape off of

the LEDs and stick them up along a plastic piece for wheelwell lighting

so today we got a second one in the mail and as you can tell he is putting it

under the steering wheel area so here's a closer look so this is the finished

product it's here here and lights it pretty well even in the days light so

we'll come back and check this out at night so this is the final product

so this consists of 2 kits

and it went pretty well

Current Reads August 17, 2017 - Duration: 6:36.

yes America versatility in the flesh what's going on YouTube so today we're

gonna be doing what I am currently reading

now there's two books I'm currently reading and and I gotta tell you man I'm

uh I haven't been doing that well lately about reading so I'm kind of slug you

don't but I wanted to share them with you guys men to know what you think

about a man and see if any of y'all read them kind of get your take on it

so the first book is never eat alone by keith ferrazzi sure kind of uh people who

read business books have read this before

it's basically talking about how to network and network right now you know

full confessional I'm not that good at networking that's not one of my strong

suits um cuz I think I was raised as a person where I look at where you work on

your skill set and you become good at debt and offer those merits alone you

will be you know promoted and be able to live well and stuff like that but man I

honestly think man that our society is shifting towards especially now that no

one stays in a profession anymore and all these things that I our parents used

to know about the job landscape the professional landscape is completely

different now in our generation and it looks like it's even shifting more for

the ones coming after us as well too and so I feel like a big thing man is gonna

be about who you know you know now that job applications are not even physical

anymore it's literally to a computer so you

don't even have any time to sell yourself and the face to face so it's

really about who you know who may be able to pick out your digital job

application and say hey I got a friend so I'm so put make sure that they make

it into a pool they get to interview the things of that nature so I really think

networking man and learning the art and because I believe it is an art it

doesn't come just naturally to people that it could really help out so I'm

going I'm digging in this book man I'm about halfway through so far so good

it's just you know so it's a it's a informative reach so I've been taking

like a lot of notes and stuff like that so it's taking me a little longer than

usual but anybody's ready man let me know what you thought about it let me

know about some of the methods or strategies that Keith ferrazzi mentions

that you enjoyed and let me know how to be going with you now the second book is

man after the Charlottesville thing I think it's kind of timely that I

introduced this book so second book is

called quitting America now this book is about a guy Randall Robinson

author Randall Robinson first of all and

knowing it's not me on the cover I know I had to do it

second take menu not be shaving my head bald lately and I'm like I don't know it

might be him but I don't think it's a meter but anyway uh so this guy he

actually is african-american so he's born on in the United States of America

um but his wife is Caribbean up she is actually from st. Kitts which is a small

island in the Caribbean and he actually now they're older right on and be like

in their 40s 50s or so but he actually is opted to leave the United States and

move to the island of st. Kitts small out in the Caribbean and so he's really

kind of showing the difference between like kinda that society and how things

are so it's a stark contrast to the way that we live as regular Americans and

he's kind of offering up some some pros and things that he thinks that we're

lacking here in America which has opted for him to move so I

thought was a pretty interesting read because I'm I'm somewhat well-traveled

and and I believe everybody travel and you know one of my things that I tell

people is I say hey it may be it may be a society out there that may be better

suited for you individually if you find things so frustrating in America um you

know it's kind of like I think the the way that we have such a global landscape

today it's kind of like um picking it's kind of like a preference thing I feel

like what countries on a lot of countries accept immigrants things of

that nature so I kind of feel like people can leave if they want to they so

choose to of course you got to do your research and its pros and cons

everywhere um straight up and it's gonna be ready to racism everywhere if you're

black you know one of my black viewers you ain't escaping it it's racism

everywhere even in black countries so really it's all about what a kind of the

the main points that are big cons in that country and the pros and if those

are more suited or those are more tailor-made things that you can live

with so thousands to read man he writes his prose is very its high-level so we

say it's definitely taking me a while to get through it I've got only read like a

chapter at a time like this is not a read and I can just sit down and just

run through so but anybody's ready memory box curiously by the man I'll let

me down in the comments below alright so that's what I'm currently

reading man like I said anybody's right into these books or have any thoughts on

the man leave it down below um and let me know what you think

um I should be finished with these books and I'm hoping another week or two

so we'll see if you're interested in the book recommendation be going a little

further in depth in these books let me down down below alright comes all one is

on six and all my partners in the sticks man y'all be cool out there I remember

we got a building not destroy take care

The Truth Behind The Taylor Swift Groping Scandal - Duration: 5:17.

Some stars shine so brightly they get burned.

Unfortunately for songstress Taylor Swift, that's just what happened to her.

After getting hit with a major lawsuit, the country singer-turned-pop icon countersued

— paving the way for what became a lengthy legal battle.

Now that the trial is finally over, here's a look at the truth behind Taylor Swift's

groping scandal.

She accused a DJ of groping her

Before a Colorado concert at the Pepsi Center on June 2, 2013, Swift was posing for photos

with fans during a scheduled meet-and-greet when, according to Swift, country music DJ

David Mueller reached under her skirt and groped her.

TMZ reported that Swift told the court, "He put his hand under my dress and grabbed my

bare ass.

As soon as he grabbed my ass, I became shocked and withdrawn and was barely able to say 'Thanks

for coming,' which is what I say to everybody.

I was barely able to get the words out, and it was like somebody switched the lights off

in my personality."

Suit and countersuit

Mueller was reportedly fired from his gig at Denver radio station 98.5 KYGO just two

days after the alleged incident, according to Page Six.

In response, Mueller filed a la wsuit against Swift in September 2015, accusing her of getting

him fired after her security detail falsely claimed that he'd inappropriately touched

her.

He also claimed that he overheard one of his co-workers bragging about groping Swift.

In response, Swift denied she got Mueller fired, saying that was entirely the radio

station's decision.

She also counter-sued Mueller for battery and sexual assault while refuting Mueller's

claim that a different man had groped her.

The lawsuit read in part, "Resolution of this Counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller

alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms.

Swift, and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar

outrageous and humiliating acts."

The court battle

Nearly two years after Mueller and Swift filed their respective lawsuits, they finally made

their way to court, with a civil trial beginning on August 7, 2017.

Mueller was seeking $3 million in damages, while Swift asked for just $1, a symbolic

gesture to go along with a guilty verdict for Mueller.

Mueller took the stand first, on August 8.

He claimed that he may have touched Swift's "rib cage, or rib, or ribs" with a closed

hand, but he maintained that he never grabbed her butt.

He admitted that he had lost or destroyed potential evidence, including an audio recording

of an interview with his employers made the day he was fired that could have shed light

on the reasons for his dismissal.

But he claimed that was accidental, as he "was never told that these items were evidence."

Swift took the stand on August 10.

She stated that Mueller appeared to be drunk during the photo shoot, and that while she

was shocked and horrified by the incident, she continued with the rest of the meet and

greet because she didn't want to disappoint her fans.

When questioned about Mueller's claim that someone else had done the groping, Swift said

she could "have picked [Mueller] out of a line of a thousand.

You can ask me a million questions about it and I'm never going to say something different.

The singer was backed up by her backstage photographer and her bodyguard, both of whom

testified on the witness stand that they saw Mueller grope Swift.

Public support for Swift

During the course of the trial, a number of celebrities came out in support of Swift,

with Girls star Lena Dunham tweeting, "Proud of @taylorswift13 for her fierce & cutting

testimony & her refusal to settle for being treated like property.

Her example is powerful."

Swift's close friend, actress Jaime King, also tweeted her support, saying, "@taylorswift13

is F***ING BRAVE.

ALL deserve justice — to be heard, honored & respected.

No matter race, creed, socioeconomic status, gender."

But perhaps the most personal words came from pop star Kesha.

When Kesha was embroiled in a court case with Sony music producer Dr. Luke — whom she

accused of sexual, physical, verbal, and emotional abuse — she was forbidden from releasing

new music.

In response, Swift gave Kesha $250,000 to help with any financial needs.

Kesha repaid that gesture with a heartfelt tweet that read, "I support you always, and

especially right now and admire your strength and fearlessness.

Truth is always the answer."

The results

On August 14, 2017, following closing statements, the jury took just four hours to find Mueller

guilty of assault and battery.

As Swift requested, Mueller was directed to pay $1 in damages to Swift.

The jury also determined that Swift's team was not liable for causing Mueller to be fired

from his radio gig.

Mueller remained defiant, appea ring on Good Morning America the next day to deny the allegations.

"I didn't do it.

I never grabbed her.

I never had my hand under her skirt, and I can pass a polygraph."

While Mueller may reportedly appeal the court's decision, Swift released a statement thanking

her legal team and fans for their support over the four-year process, adding, "I acknowledge

the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the

enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this.

My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard.

Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that

help sexual assault victims defend themselves."

said they had available and so I went ahead and scooped it up and I'm gonna

dig into it and uh see if it's any good see if I see what I enjoy about it so

thank you again miss Arlene and you know hopefully I can put it on a radar foot

for some of my other views as well who may not have known about it so looking

forward to reading this it's actually a legal thriller so let me read a little

bit about the story to you so you can kind of understand before the egg is

gonna be about so it says that forty acres it's about a young black lawyer

named Martin gray and he actually goes it goes to this retreat that's not

really known to the public when it's called 40 acres and he says and it says

that it is a last vestige of antebellum America and on 40 acres black men are

called masters and whites are considered property so it was kind of a switch on

things and um and so basically they're guaranteeing them at this place that if

he joins their ranks that they can guarantee him success as a lawyer and

you know all the accolades that come with being a high profile person and but

of course things and not as they seem and now he's trying to figure out how to

kind of get out of there in the intact so it's actually a thriller

so again 40 acres by Dwayne Alexander Smith and I actually didn't even know

man they got an African second section in my library so I

actually didn't even know about that so that's cool though

shout out to um giving them a little spotlight man and and kind of letting us

know that we do have black riders out this since a lot of people think that we

just write urban fiction and that's it

now second book I actually just happen to pick up man I was looking for

actually a book by Chester Himes um that was recommended to me but I ended up not

finding that book even though they said it was there but this is actually the

autobiography of Chester Himes just recently came out it was written by

Lawrence Jackson who is uh who was actually at Johns Hopkins

University of black male at Johns Hopkins University currently and he

wrote the autobiography about Chester Himes and it's new it's been recently

release and it's acts he's actually gonna be talking about it at the Decatur

Book Festival which is coming up September 2nd to 3rd and I plan on going

to here to talk so I was actually planning on probably purchasing the book

at the talk but I ended up saying and I said well I can get a head start on

reading the book um you know maybe I'll be able to talk to him a little bit

about if I have any questions or anything like that so picked it up I

don't know much about Chester Himes man I just know that he was a very prolific

black writer and I definitely gonna be doing a book I'm definitely gonna be

doing a video excuse me about his life because I feel like he is probably a

writer that ah that probably is kind of similar to the way that I am viewing my

current writing at the moment so definitely gonna be somebody I want a

profile man and learn more about so that's it that my book haul for the

library man oh so I'm gonna catch our soul man from zone one is on 6 9 my

partners in the sticks man y'all be cool out there remember

yeah head building not destroy take

BREAKING: Mueller Just Got Bad News | Top Stories Today - Duration: 3:33.

Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and

the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election has been pushing ahead.

But the discreet investigation has kept the public guessing as to what findings it will

ultimately reveal.

A new occurrence is provoking questions about the inner-workings of the Special Counsel.

As reported by ABC News, Peter Strzok, a top FBI investigator who was chosen by Mueller

just weeks ago to lead the Special Counsel, has walked away from the investigation.

Strzok's departure comes as a shock to observers of the investigation.

Although the Special Counsel has been overshadowed by other current events like the deaths at

Charlottesville, Mueller's team has been extremely active during the last month.

Under the direction of the Strzok-led Mueller team, the FBI last week performed an early-morning

raid of the home of President Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, as covered

by Christian News Alerts.

As Breitbart noted, Manafort has turned over many documents to the intelligence community

and provided information related to his work with Ukrainian President, Victor Yanukovych.

Prior to the search of Manafort's home, Mueller began using a grand jury to collect

documents and other evidence for his investigation, reported CBS News.

The use of the grand jury was seen as a sign that the Russia probe is gaining momentum.

Yet in the midst of all this movement, Strzok has walked away.

The widely-respected official is now working at the FBI's human resources division.

Neither Strzok nor the spokesman for the Special Counsel has provided an explanation for the

change.

Prior to his involvement in the Special Counsel, Strzok oversaw the FBI's counterespionage

section, the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server, and participated

in the FBI interview of Clinton herself.

Mueller's Special Counsel has been a focal point of contention between Trump detractors

and supporters.

The President's strongest advocates claim the Special Counsel is a politicized vehicle

being used to fabricate evidence against the Trump administration.

As The Hill noted, Mueller has a close relationship with former FBI chief James Comey, who was

fired by Trump.

This has led to speculation that Comey leaked notes of his conversations with President

Trump with the specific intention of creating a Special Counsel led by Mueller.

CNN pointed out that Trump himself called the relationship between Mueller and Comey

"bothersome," questioning the objectivity of the man investigating "Russian collusion."

Suspicions of Mueller have been further exacerbated by his hiring of several Special Counsel lawyers

who have donated extensively to Democrat politicians (including to Hillary Clinton's 2016 run

for the presidency), a fact reported by The Washington Post.

As Business Insider observed, one of Mueller's most prominent hires is Jeannie Rhee, a lawyer

who represented Hillary Clinton in the lawsuit that sought access to her private email server

and who also defended The Clinton Foundation in a 2015 racketeering lawsuit.

These revelations have contributed to accusations that Mueller's Special Counsel lacks impartiality.

Whether these were factors in Strzok's withdrawal from the Mueller team is not yet known.

The top dog on Robert Mueller's investigation team quit.

Was he concerned about the bias of Clinton donors on the team?

Is the Mueller special investigation team biased?
