Hello friends..

Myself Poonam Dedhia, I welcome you all to my kitchen.

Today we are going to make one of the finest recipe of Awadhi Cuisine.

Which is actually a starter, everyone's favourite & its name is Awadhi Kesariya Tikki.

Taking Grated Fresh Mawa in a bowl

Grated Malai Paneer (Cottage Cheese)

Cashew powder, in herbs we are using some fresh chopped coriander leaves

Since its Awadhi Kesariya dish then we shall add Saffron along with green cardamom powder

Chopped Green Chillies, Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder, salt to taste

Fresh breadcrumbs for binding & Cornflour

Mix all the ingredients

Mix it the way you mash potatoes, almost like mashing.

Now all the ingredients are mixed well.

As you can see I've got a nice binding to it.

Now let's make tikkis, if you want you can make square or oval shape

Whichever shape you like, give a fine round shape from all the sides

Make sure there is no crack in any side.

All the tikkis are ready, time to shallow fry them.

Place the tikkis very carefully as in all the ingredients used are very delicate.

Allow it to become brown from both the sides, let's check it once

As soon it gets nice brown colour that means its time to change that means the other side

Let the other side also get brown

After shallow fry, nice and golden tikkis are ready

Taking them out very carefully on the tissue paper

As I already said that these tikkis are very delicate

For plating I've mixed some green chutney and cheese spread in a piping bag.

On its one side we'll place out tikkis

Also I've prepared a salad(juliennes), which contains of Red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper & regular onion.

Placing them on the side along with a lemon slice.

So here we have a tasty and an another recipe of Awadhi cuisine"Awadhi Kesariya Tikki"
