'The Algorithm' - How YouTube Search & Discovery Works - Duration: 2:02.

Hey there

Welcome to this series of videos about how YouTube Search & Discovery works.

Listen up because understanding how your videos get found

can be super helpful to your channel's success.

Let's start with the algorithm.

YouTube is a popular place, with hundreds of hours of video

uploaded each minute.

Since no team of people could ever keep up with watching all that

we rely on a sophisticated algorithm to match each viewer to the videos

they're most likely to watch and enjoy.

The algorithm is basically a real-time feedback loop

that tailors videos to each viewer's different interests.

It does its best to show the right videos to the right viewer at the right time

across the whole planet.

How do we do this?

With data!

For each video, we look at things like titles, thumbnails, descriptions

and how other viewers seem to be enjoying it.

We also look at how much of the video they're watching

if they're clicking "like" or "dislike", and how many people are commenting.

And for each unique viewer

we look at things like what the person has watched in the past,

how much time they spend watching, and what they don't watch.

Above all, the algorithm has two simple goals:

1) Help each viewer find the videos they want to watch, and

2) Get viewers to keep watching more of what they like

Now, you might be asking yourself

"OK, then how can I get the algorithm to like my videos?"

It's pretty simple: get the audience to like your videos.

That's because the algorithm follows the audience.

If people love your videos, the algorithm will surface them to others.

But where will new audiences actually encounter these videos?

In the next sections, we'll dive into six key areas

where videos are often found.

And we'll start with YouTube Search.

Do you know how it works?

How to Remove Vocal in Audacity! Remove Singing from a Track! Vocal Remover in Audacity! - Duration: 3:49.

Hey guys, my name is Scoby, today I'm gonna be showing you how to remove vocals from a track in audacity

I'm going to be showing you step-by-step how to recreate this method before we get too far into this tutorial

I want to mention

This is not a perfect method and this will not work for all songs

This mainly works for songs that have vocals kind of in the mid to the background of a track if your vocals are very in

Front it's really difficult to remove them with this method there is some other paid software out there that will do this method much better

But of course it's paid, I'm going to be a quick example what you can expect this tutorial so you're not going in there with

Any false expectations and then I'm showing you step by step to how to recreate this method

*Original Audio*

*Edited Audio*

so the first thing we are going to do in this case is we're going to select a part of the track that we can use as a

Medium method, that we can listen to to use it before and after kind of example point so in this case

I'm going to zoom and I'm going to pick somewhere in the middle of the track like I have here. Let's just say from about

1:45 to maybe 1:50 so we have a nice little section of a track for this example

I'm going to be using the track a E-Dubble: Be a king

I'm going to leave a link to that in the description down below if you want to check out the original piece

I'm only going to be using about five seconds of this for the example

So if you like the track go check that out

what we're going to be doing is splitting this track into two mono tracks

So as you can tell right now it is a stereo track

Because there's a left channel on the top and a right channel on the bottom

to split this track we're going to be coming over to the left hand side on the track

We're going to be clicking the little drop down arrow right here

And we're going to be splitting this stereo to Mono

What this going to do, is create two separate mono tracks that we're going to be needing to affect and change

We're going to be doing is going to be selecting our bottom track by selecting the box on the left-hand side

And as you can see we only have our bottom track selected

from here we're going to be going to effect

and we're going to be adding an invert

now, what an invert does is flips the sound waves in the track

so we're going to be inverting the actual bottom mono track

now by doing this we're going to affect the audio that we're going to be cancelling out the actual vocals of the track

now like I said this will only work for some tracks

And it really has to have your audio in the middle or in the background to make this work really effectively

If your audio is purely in the front and the actual background music is in the background very quiet

This is going to be a really bad method so now that we have it inverted

We're gonna give it a listen over to what it sounds like

*Test Listen*

As you can tell the vocals are much more in the background

But we also lose some of that quality from the original sound

now one method we can do to increase the quality a little bit is to select our bottom mono track that we have inverted

We're going to go to effect and we're going to be adding a bass and tremble from here

We're going to be adding a small bass

So somewhere between 1 and 10 this really depends on your track and depends on the type of music you have

and a small treble if you wish in this case

I'm only going to be sticking to the bass because the song is kind of more bass heavy

And this will just help us vamp up the audio a little bit to make it sound less kind of flat

We're gonna Click apply it in your bass will be added and now if we give it a listen back over to where we were before

*Edited Audio Playing*

And as you can tell it kind of bumps up the audio bit without actually affecting the low quality of the vocals now the vocals

Are still kind of faintly there

But like I said this method is not perfect

and unless you want to go for some paid software

This is the best you can get

anyway guys if you enjoyed this tutorial

be sure to drop a like subscribe if you're new check out the other videos on the channel

I'm sorry. I can't make a more in-depth tutorial on how to remove vocals in audacity

This is the best kind of method you can do with free software like this

I do plan to bring out some more tutorials in the future with more paid software but for right now

I'm really liking what audacity can do and I don't really feel I need anything else

But this is great for like karaoke or most things or it really depends on the applications you're using offer

Anyway guys hopefully you enjoyed this check out the other videos on the channel

I'm also gonna leave my Paypal link down below if you want to support the channel

until next time guys as always

Keep it Saucy

peace

5 Ways To Be A Mentally Strong Introvert - Duration: 6:06.

5 Ways To Be A Mentally Strong Introvert

Like extroverts, introverts are a diverse group.

Introverts include both shy and outgoing personalities, but they all tend to share a common trait.

Specifically, introverts need time to relax and recharge after being in a stimulating

environment.

Introversion is simply a personality trait.

But in a world that seems to cater to extroverts, many introverts struggle to find acceptance

(from themselves and others), balance, and inner peace.

In this video I'm going to show you 5 ways to be a mentally strong introvert.

Before we start, make sure to like this video and subscribe our channel so you won't miss

any interesting update in the future guys.

So, here are the five ways for introverts to stay mentally strong and tackle common

workplace challenges.

1.

Focus on your strengths.

Contrary to popular stereotypes, introverts aren't anti-social loners who loathe interaction

with the outside world.

Introverts possess a treasure trove of strengths.

They write beautifully, think deeply, and draw energy from authentic conversations and

meaningful relationships.

They listen to what others say, soaking up different perspectives and forming well-rounded

opinions.

Because of their reflective natures, introverts tend to see the world in a unique way.

Unfortunately, introverts often try to stifle their natural gifts and act just like their

extroverted peers for the sake of "fitting the mold."

Instead of hiding what makes you special, be thankful for your quiet strengths and channel

them to make a difference in the world.

2.

Tackle your weaknesses.

As an introvert, you may want to move your career to the next level and make a bigger

impact.

But you may also feel anxious about taking on a more visible role, dealing with office

politics, or speaking in public.

When should you take the leap and tackle your fears?

The answer is simple – for the sake of a goal that you genuinely care about, or for

the sake of something you really love.

Figure out what's important to you and if anything is holding you back.

Then take small, steady steps to overcome your fears.

If you hate networking, read books about small talk and practice your conversation skills.

If you fear public speaking, join your local Toastmasters.

Slowly build your comfort level, and congratulate yourself for being brave enough to put yourself

out there.

Mentally strong introverts have the potential to stretch themselves when (and if) they really

want to.

3.

Socialize in small doses.

Introverts typically enjoy socializing in intimate settings with just one other person,

or a few friends or colleagues.

Because they are highly sensitive to their surroundings, introverts may shy away from

large parties and noisy environments.

They tend to prefer low-key dinners and evenings at home with friends and family.

To maintain your equilibrium, socialize selectively.

Attend events that you enjoy and that build valuable connections, but don't feel obligated

to be the life of the party.

Focus on chatting with a few people, and do what you do best – ask insightful questions,

make meaningful connections, and be genuine.

Mentally strong introverts enjoy authentic connections with others, and they know how

to shine in their own unique way.

4.

Retreat when needed.

If you're an introvert, you've probably experienced the "overload point" – that

moment when you feel overwhelmed by external stimulation and desperately crave an escape,

a quiet moment to be alone with your thoughts.

Mentally strong introverts take regular breaks before they reach their "overload point."

Whether you're at a big conference, networking event, or crowded party, allow yourself to

retreat to the bathroom for a few minutes when you feel frazzled.

If you've had a hectic week at work, spend your weekend however you like – even if

you simply want to read a book in your pajamas, retreat into your favorite hobby, or stay

in on a Saturday night.

By investing in self-care, you will maintain your sense of inner balance and renew your

energy levels.

When you escape from the world (even for a little while), you may discover inspiration

and brilliant ideas when you least expect them.

5.

Let it go.

Introverts tend to be thoughtful and have exceptional powers of concentration; they

can focus on a single task for long periods of time.

However, an introvert's strength can turn into a weakness if it becomes unbalanced.

The introvert's tendency to be thoughtful and focused can also mean that introverts

get lost in their heads, dwelling on their perceived failures or getting stuck in repetitive

thought patterns.

Mentally strong introverts learn when to let it go.

If you're overthinking a situation and going around in circles, try to snap out of it.

Leave your desk, and grab a cup of coffee or snack.

Meet a friend for lunch, exercise, or go for a walk outdoors.

By changing your environment, you'll get out of your head and regain valuable perspective.

By learning to move on, you also avoid over-analyzing the past and free your mind to enjoy the present

moment.

Well, that's the 5 ways to be a mentally strong introvert.

Really cool information isn't it?

The production of labels - Duration: 6:08.

The manufacture of labels mainly, printing company, advertising firm, if they have their own printing base. The rest of enterprises only produce the orders for the production of labels and place them on the production capacities of other companies. But recently, the equipment for manufacture of labels dropped in price, which allowed to engage in such business and private entrepreneurs. Basically order these types of labels: 1. Technology skins on different equipment. For example, an indication of the operation modes of the equipment. 2. Stickers on the equipment. For example, stickers on cash registers and trade equipment - is the company that produces the supply of this equipment. 3. Advertising stickers on vehicles. Advertising services firm in trolley buses and buses. 4. Decorative and funny stickers on the cars. 5. Stickers for shops, bars and restaurants. 6. Stickers on souvenir products: lighters, key chains, etc. Areas of application of labels is so large that it does not make sense to list them... Usually stickers are made in one, two or more colors by screen printing - with average circulation. If the number of labels is huge, it is advisable to print using offset printing. If the amount is small - can be printed on a normal inkjet printer or laser color or black and white printer. For the manufacture of labels using paper with an adhesive base. Commonly used sheets of large format A0 ORACAL matte or glossy white (colors ORACAL extensive and can be of different colors). If you will make stickers by printing on the printer - use self-adhesive paper Xerox A4. What is most interesting paper from this company is of various colors that allows you to use a b/W laser printing in manufacturing. First of all it is necessary to make the original layout of your future stickers in a graphics program Corel Draw. Print on paper image stickers and bear together in the floppy disk to the manufacturer and get after some time the order. In this case, your return will be the difference between the price paid by the customer you and the cost of production of labels. In recent years a proliferation of cool and decorative stickers for cars. Usually, such stickers 300 mm x 20 mm, print on ORACAL shelkotrafaretom. The text of the labels is different. For example: The crew required flight attendant. Take the slogger, home the tramp. Take care of nature mother. Confuse the pedals. The number of such statements is very large... enough to take a collection of aphorisms ... you will have plenty of new stickers. Also sold decorative sticker for vehicles, with which you can cover up various defects of the body, front panel, etc. Typically these stickers have the appearance of various stains, traces from shots, web ... you never know what will come to mind manufacturer... But, all of what I said applies to large orders that can be made in terms of printing companies, printers ... How to be an ordinary mortal who has only a computer, printer, scanner... Tell us about your experience... I make a variety of stickers: advertising on transport, stickers on the equipment... Technologies I use are normal and applicable by all. Black-and-white stickers are made by printing on a monochrome laser printer. You can play the paper color from white to bright orange. For example. I had a client (a private entrepreneur) who wanted to make a color-advertising on transport (in the bus) (the benefit customers a lot) - he went to the advertising Agency... and immediately went out... he bent just cool... Then it came to me. Sat... discussed... My suggestion came to him. Label size - A5 black and white print, edition of 200 pieces. The cost of 1 sticker format - 1.20 UAH. (0,22$) The cost of the sticker design - 10 UAH. (1,85$) Total cost of the edition were: Stickers: 200 pieces x 1,20 UAH. = 240 UAH. (44,44$) Design: 1 piece x 10,00 UAH. = 10,00 UAH. (1,85$) Total amount: 240,00 + 10,00 UAH. = 250,00 UAH. (46,30$) My cost was: Pack Samokisha paper Xerox - of 48.00 UAH. (Of 8.89$) 100 sheets of A4. The cost of printing for laser printers: 100 sheets A4 x 0,012 UAH. = 1,20 UAH. (0,22$) Total total cost: 48,00 + 1,20 = 49,20 UAH. (9,11$) will Take 50 UAH. (Of 9.26$) My net profit was: 250,00 - 50,00 UAH. = 200,00 UAH. (37$) And this is just one example... but the work goes on and people are asking for stickers.. it becomes fashionable... You can also print colored stickers using an inkjet printer. Thus it is necessary to consider the peculiarity of the application of these stickers. They are suitable for use only indoors. For use in transport, they are not suitable... paint from the water begins to flow... Also it would be desirable to laminate thin laminate (density of 32 µm laminate, laminate - glossy or matte - I like matte) print, which will give the label a completely new look... That's all, as for the stickers. However, I can't describe everything you know about the stickers in the same article, but I can say one thing that the production of labels is only the small tip of the iceberg of printing...

Monetization Transparency on YouTube - Advertiser Friendly Guidelines - Tech Vlog #1 - Duration: 4:33.

G'day my name's Doug from Doug Hewson

YouTube and we help you with tech wherever

possible. Has your channel

being recently hit with the new

de-monetization symbols that they're

rolling out across channels and as of

recording they're still rolling it out

to channels. You might start seeing some

videos instead of having the green which

you had before now you might actually

just have green or yellow or even a

striped out grey dollar sign. Don't be

too alarmed - what they're primarily doing

is making the process more transparent

so you're actually now seeing the status

that was already on that video before they

updated the views. What you need to do is

carefully have a look at that and read

what is provided including the links to

see what's going on and if you have read

these links and have a look and then you

still feel that your monetization has

been restricted or totally de-monetized

for whatever reason they may have

got it wrong - then appeal. Click

that appeal button and appeal it, and see

what happens

that's all you can do is appeal. And what

they're saying is that when you do that

you're actually helping them learn

what's correctly and incorrectly

flagged so they can improve the

algorithms. So what they're saying is hey

definitely appeal it look at what grounds

you're appealing it under, check to see

that you haven't breached something because

maybe you've been partially de-monetized

because of, just, there's some little

niggly thing that if you change that

niggly thing then it's gonna tick

over to green. You might need to

delete that video and re-upload it and

with modified tags, fix the description

fix the thumbnail, maybe

re-edit the video to remove something that

might be causing that partial

de-monetization. Basically what it's saying

is there's something about the video,

whether it's the description, the tag, the

video itself, thumbnails is unfriendly

for advertising which means advertisers

don't want to advertise on a video

because of whatever the problem is. So

sometimes it just means maybe a minor

tweak to your video to make it fully

monetized again. So it's

worth checking out and study and don't

jump to conclusions, saying "Oh they got it wrong,

we got it wrong." Then have a look,

there might be just one little thing

that tipped it over the edge to be

reduced monetization, making it non ad

friendly - something that advertisers are

steering clear of, so therefore you get

any ads. It's not censorship, it's them

saying, "hey advertisers don't want

advertise on videos talking about this or

include this particular word, so please

have a look". So that's what they're

saying.

So if you feel that that something is

amiss on the particular video so

obviously in a video by video basis and

you can't find anything that hits any of

those guidelines for advertising

whatsoever

then put your appeal in. Sometimes the

algorithm has got it wrong, so simply a

matter of appealing. If you want to learn

more about the new monetization

flags, I've got some resources in the

description below, where you can check

out all these things that YouTube provide

in regards to monetization flags and

making ad friendly content. That's all

we've got time for today, I'm nearly home

from work. So if you liked this video, give

it a thumbs up and if you want more

videos about technology, YouTube or

anything else, subscribe - click that

subscribe button

and check the bell notification so

don't miss anything. I'll catch you later!
