Waching daily Aug 29 2017

- I am done achieving things only

to not be fulfilled with them in the end anyways.

For months, I was saying, "I'm on the verge of burnout,"

but the truth was, I was already burnt out.

I was emotionally drained, mentally exhausted,

and tired all the time.

My name is Janelle Fraser, the expert

to follow to become genuinely happy,

wildly successful, and a naked leader.

All I knew was that my passion

for life and business just disappeared.

That desire and that motivation

that was so natural to me just wasn't there.

I used to be decisive and knew what I wanted

and was excited to go after it, and all of a sudden,

I didn't want to go after anything.

In fact, not only did I not want to go after things,

but I wanted to take every single thing

that I have worked for in my life,

everything that I've brought into my life,

and I wanted to throw it all away.

To leave relationships, to move away,

to let go of my business.

It was this state of, "I need to escape

"and get out of here or I am going to combust."

So the first step for me was admitting what was going on.

Admitting that I was mentally exhausted

and emotionally drained, and I wasn't

on the verge of burnout, I was burnt out.

I would be searching everywhere for the puzzle pieces,

you know, what is the thing that's gonna

make a difference, what's gonna make me happy,

what's gonna make me feel better?

You know, when I was chatting with my fiance

or friends or family, of course, the main question is,

well, what do you want?

You know, I didn't want anything.

I just wanted out.

What I decided to do was commit

to not playing that game anymore,

and that was for me, the second step

that was really essential.

I committed to not playing the game

of overwhelmed and burnt out which means anything

and everything that made me feel overwhelmed

or exhausted or tired, literally in the moment,

I just wouldn't do it.

Which meant a significant drop in business activity,

which meant a significant change in my everyday life.

I had stories that I was lazy and weak

running through my mind, but at the same time,

I was proud of myself for giving myself this space.

I was trusting and, you know, following

that gut instinct in my heart that was telling me

that I should probably slow down and just back off,

but at the same time, that loud voice in my mind

that says, "You're a leader, you have this business.

"People have expectations of you.

"Your clients are expecting your business

"to grow, so you need to grow it.

"You need to keep pushing."

And so, there was this battle in my mind,

but the second step for me was so loud and clear,

is that I'm just done playing that game.

I am done achieving things only

to not be fulfilled with them in the end anyways.

So what, I want million dollar business?

So what, I want this big impact,

what's really gonna fulfill me?

I can have both, it doesn't have to be either/or.

But I had to pull back for a while,

and stop doing things that were not fulfilling,

that flared up that overwhelm 'cause I needed

to start to retrain my body that I wasn't just gonna

push through her anymore and ignore the signs and symbols,

that I was gonna start to trust and listen to her.

And I'm telling you, that process was not easy.

When have you stopped?

When have you stopped?

Because my relaxation time was really just

doing more things and distraction time.

Step three is really important, to actually slow down.

And not do anything.

Sometimes I think there is a phase

where maybe you need to binge on Netflix

and you need to, you know, distract yourself for a while,

but when you're looking to find the answers,

when you're looking for the action steps

and how to move forward from this place,

it's not found in distraction.

It's found in tuning in so you can turn on your life.

And I know for me, the big ah-ha moment

was, "Yeah, I'm pulling back,

"and I'm not playing that game anymore,

"but I'm also distracting myself.

"I'm numbing, I'm running away

"from my own inner wisdom."

I want to warn you.

If you have a business, if you have a job,

if you have a family, if you have

significant responsibilities, and pressures,

and demands, you might be thinking that,

"This is all great, Janelle, I would love to find quiet time

"and commit to not playing that game,

"but I've got things to do."

And the truth is, we all have things to do

and your health, your mental capacity,

your life, your goals, and your dreams,

are going to be destroyed quite literally

if this is the path that you continue to commit to.

So whatever you have in your life

is what you're committed to.

So, if you want more freedom, more ease,

more peace, more calmness in your life,

then you need to commit to it,

which means your behaviors, and your actions,

and where you spend your time, need to shift.

And so, I know we all have the list of to-dos,

but the to-do list doesn't go away.

It just doesn't.

And so, the only way to get out of this is to choose.

Admit that it's an issue, commit that

you're no longer playing that game,

and get silent and listen for the answers.

The answers won't come if you are being distracted.

Learnt that one.

Just recently.

So if you liked this, I would love for you

to give me a thumbs up and please share this wisdom

along with your friends, share this video out,

and you can subscribe to my channel here.

Make it a great day.

You're not Racky?

Pradip!

Oh, no, I am Rakhee. Hi. Hello.

It's just -

This is not how you spell my name.

Rakhee.

It's Indian.

Nobody gets it right. But you -

Me?

You're Indian, right?

I mean, you're wearing a rakhi, on your wrist, see.

The Hindu ceremony where the sister ties a rakhi

on the brother symbolizing their bond.

Rakhee with a "'K-H-E-E",

not wacky Racky!

[laughing uncomfortably]

$10.25, ma'am.

Ok.

Is it me? -Hm?

Is it, you saw me and you thought,

oh this is just some white-washed millennial

who grew up in Canada not India, she's not really Indian,

I bet she can't even speak the language!

Pradip?

-Because I can. I know words.

I know plenty of words.

Pick up for Rakhee?

Ha! Mane pizza!

Desi girl!

[speaking Gujarati:]

Yep.

No wait, it's pepperoni.

Ok. I'm really glad that we resolved this.

So I will, you know, keep the change, and I will see you,

my Indian brothers. Later. Ok.

Tuesday Loves Grapes, Validation, & Trying His Best - Duration: 6:27.

What's up, Halcyon Hooligans!

It's Jonah.

I honestly wasn't planning on making a video today, but I saw Ally's video yesterday for

Monday, and it like really inspired me to want to make a video for Halcyon Hooligans

and like get back in the saddle and just get making Halcyon Hooligans videos again.

I agree entirely that it was a good idea at the beginning for us to have uh themes for

Halcyon Hooligans because not only were the five of us trying to get to know each other

better, but we had to kind of like adjust to a new audience too because obviously when

you have collab channels you have several audiences from different people coming together,

but now that um things are slowing down a little bit I think that it is productive for

us to have like more like loosely structured things and just have like a little chat when

you can.

I think that's really good and healthy.

So yeah I really liked hearing what Ally had to say yesterday about what's going on in

her life, and I thought I'd give you a little bit of an update about what's going on in

mine.

First of all, I want to talk about the fact that I have a plate of cotton candy grapes

with me right now, and I'm probably going to be snacking on them throughout this video,

so I'm sorry if that's annoying.

Not a whole lot has been going on for me other than like working which is like a usual for

me.

Um I was supposed to be moving in September with my friend and a third roommate, and that

didn't end up working out the way that we wanted it to and so now I'm not really sure

when we're moving.

And that was like a big chunk of what I was focusing on there for awhile was just like

how I was going to be moving.

And now it's like kind of fallen through the cracks, so I have to kind of put that to the

back burner.

And I've been thinking a lot about what's next for moving, but I just don't really know

what's going on with that.

So I'm like trying not to stress about it too much, so work has definitely been at the

forefront of like everything that I'm working on right now.

One thing out of the ordinary is that last Thursday I went to go see my endocrinologist

which is like my doctor who deals with my hormones.

She is like one of the coolest ladies I have ever met, and she's just like so nice and

honestly she makes me feel like so good about how far I've come and like everything that

I'm doing and she's just like super validating and like always hears me out whenever I go

to her.

If I tell her a concern that I'm having then she listens to me, and she tries to help me,

and she doesn't like try to say that I'm making it up or something like that.

Which is like super validating and just like I get genuinely excited every time I go to

see her.

It's just really nice to have that in my life because I don't really have that in a ton

of areas in my life like honestly.

I don't know if this like sounds wholesome or if it just sounds flat out sad, but a lot

of the times, I think that my doctor is like more supportive of me and my progress than

my parents are.

She just genuinely wants to make things easier for me, which is like something I value so

much in my life right now because things are so far from easy right now where I'm at.

So that was really nice seeing her on Thursday, and I also went to Madison with my best friend.

And my best friend went back to college this past weekend, so it was really nice to get

a solid day of just hanging out and doing stuff together before she went back to school.

I was just like super stressed that day, but it was like such a good day, and then we went

to Hy-vee and we got cotton candy grapes.

Which are so expensive, but they taste just like cotton candy.

I got two bags, and I really wasn't thinking, I just knew I that I needed two bags.

And I didn't think to like weigh them or anything, and I get up to pay for them and it was like

seventeen dollars for two bags of grapes.

I was like holy shit!

They're like $3.99 a pound, but I didn't think to weigh them, so that was my mistake, so

I foolishly paid like seventeen dollars for two bags of grapes.

But what can you do?

They also had vegan peanut M&Ms at Hy-vee, and my best friend bought me a bag because

by the time that this day was over I had spent so much money I was like "I cannot spend anymore

money."

And she's like "I'll buy them for you as a treat."

And I was like "I love you so much."

If you can find these, they are amazing and worth trying.

I mean they're definitely not something I would get every time I go grocery shopping

even if I had a Hy-Vee near me, but like oh my goodness like they are so good.

If you can get your hands on them, they're worth trying at least once.

So that was really nice going to Madison.

Got to get some gourmet coffee, treated myself to a new shirt which I conveniently happen

to be wearing right now, um and I got to hang out with my best friend, got to see my doctor

who is just like so lovely.

And as I was in Madison that day, I was whining to my best friend about how upset I was that

my plans for moving with my other friend didn't work out and how I really wanted to be moving

to Madison by the end of the year, and I was just super bummed out.

And when we were in Hy-Vee, I checked my phone and I have a message from my friend that I

was supposed to move with, and she says "I think I might've found a third roommate, we

might be able to move in October."

And I'm just like WHAT?

Do you ever get a sign from the universe and you realize like this is a sign?

It's just so weird, and I was like really appreciative that I had that little like sign

that I should be doing that.

Now I'm not entirely sure what my plans are, but um I'm feeling a little bit more calm

about my moving plans because things might just work themselves out on their own, and

I might not have to stress so much about it, so I'm just kind of taking things one day

at a time.

Sorry my angle might be a little bit different.

My card just ran out of space, so that was great.

But I guess just the point I'm trying to make is that uh no matter what you have going on

in your life, you really just have to take it one day at a time and just be nice to yourself.

And remind yourself that you've got this.

You just gotta do what you can to stay in your own skin.

So yeah, that's the extent of what's going on in my life right now.

I just wanted to pop in and say hey, and I hope that all of the people watching this,

including the other people of Halcyon Hooligans, are doing well and getting by and taking things

one day at a time because I know that it's difficult, but we can get through anything

that we are you're through.

We're strong individuals.

We can kick ass at this thing we call life so.

I will hopefully see you next week depending on how things are going um.

I hope to see some more faces on Halcyon Hooligans this week.

Anyway.

I'm going to go finish my grapes and probably take a nap because today is my only day off

this week so.

Have a great week.

I will see you in the future.

Peace and love.

Prime-Line Products U 10827 Door Reinforcement Lock - Duration: 13:01.

all right so in today's video we're going to talk about the prime lines

product U 10827 door reinforcement lock I will show you and I will explain you

how is it is to install this lock and why I recommend this lock to any front

door so stay tuned

okay so before we gonna start I want to introduce myself my name is coby and now

with Sylvia gay locksmith las vegas youtube channel if you're looking to get

your house your business or your bike more secure this is the channel for you

so don't forget to subscribe my channel in this button below and make sure to

take the bell icon so you'll get notified whenever I'm releasing a new

video when I release them okay let's move through the product okay so the

prime lines product U 10827 door Reinforcement lock I'm going to explain

you a little bit why this product is one of my favorite and why I recommend to

anyone to install this lock and I'm gonna make it really quick so the first

reason is this product have the highest recommended reviews online and you know

what don't take my word for it I'm going to share a link right below where you

can find some of the reviews of all these awesome products make sure to

click the link right below okay so let's move to the second reason this product

is super super simple to install doesn't matter if you're men a woman I recommend

this lock to anyone the reason why all you really need for the installation is

few simple tools you need one eight drill bit you will need a power drill a

screwdriver a chisel and a hammer now a chisel a hammer you don't really need

but it depends on the gap between the door frame and the door if you don't

have big gap I mean enough to install this lock you will need to shave the

word a little bit and I will explain you how to do it as well so it's very easy

installation that's the second reason now let's move to the third reason this

door lock is actually reinforcing the door more than a standard deadbolt it's

actually resist to up to 800 levers of force so it's acting better than your

standard deadbolt yes that's true so this is the third reason the fourth and

most important reason why this lock is because I am the one that

using it for many of my customers so from my own experience and from my

customer satisfaction I just love it love it it's an awesome product the

first and most important reason this lock is super cheap so you don't need to

spend money to someone to install a new deadbolt you can do it yourself and it's

not expensive so all these reasons telling you exactly why you want to

purchase this lock and install by yourself

super simple and as you remember if you not make sure to click the link right

below because I share a link where you can read some of those reviews and also

if you want to buy it online as well make sure to click the link right below

now let's move to the fun stuff I'm gonna open it and we're gonna show you

how to install it and all that good stuff so stay tuned okay guys the

installation now the first thing you want to check before you're installing

the lock and it's super important is gonna be the gap between the door frame

and the door usually what I like to do is to use 1/8 drill bit slide it in and

go up and down especially in the area where you want to install it and make

sure it goes smoothly up and down so that's basically saying that you have

enough gap to install this lock and if you don't and where you want to install

it there is not enough gap there is still way to install it don't go crazy

but you will have to use a chisel and a hammer and kind of Shaving the wood in

the space where you want to put this lock and I will explain you how to do it

it's very simple as well so let's move I know will show you from

close-up how to install it very quick okay so before we going to install it

I'm gonna check by myself with 1/8 drill bit the gap between the door in the

frame so I'm getting stuck here so that's not good but as I say we can use

a hammer and a chisel 1/8 chisel and we're gonna fix that problem really

quick let me show you what you need to do okay

so let's assume that's where you want to install lock what you want to do is put

it just like this slide it all the way in and then you want to use a pencil or

a pen just mark

this you see so now this is what you need to shave out just a little bit

enough that this door lock will sit flat with the door with the frame so let me

show you how to do it it's very very fast all right okay so I make it close

up as I can now what are you gonna use it's one inch chisel and a hammer and

you're just gonna go with the mark

slowly of course you don't have to go very deep

try to imagine the size of one h18 drill bit you don't need more than that

alright so we good here

here

all right the last part

make sure to do it straight it's gonna looks nicer all right

so we done here now we're going to shave it just a little bit follow me

depending on your wood sometimes it will go a little bit deeper but don't get

scared it's totally fine I'm gonna try to make it flat as possible

okay dan was done

trying to make it as flat as I can so it's going to look nicer

let's check

all right looks good to me and what do you want to do next is to start with

this hole just mark it right here in the middle just use a pencil and this is the

first one we need to start with and let me show you okay you will take your 1/8

drill bit and you're gonna drill the hole for the screw slowly of course

all right now we're gonna start I'm

gonna check it's in the middle all right and we're gonna start with the short

screw now there isn't why I need the hole in the middle that way we will give

us a little bit of a play inside and out if we need to locate the right position

all right okay are you going to tight the screw boney to go strong just enough

so it will hold it tight now we're going to close the door and check how it works

now we're going to use the 1/8 drill bit you want to use it all the way just just

like this and we're gonna drill the holes for the screws

that's one

let's to and number three alright so here is one of the three inch screws

that provided weight unlock we gonna install it one see how simple it is guys

nothing serious that's number two and number three

Don Dale guys let's close the door make sure everything is correct and we're

good to go okay so now we're gonna close Mitch that

he closed properly and the lock is in the right position all right let's see

all right close perfect let's close it make sure it's aligned with the door

yeah perfectly fine okay after all being said and done we are

finished now if you have any questions please just write a comment right below

I'm always willing to answer your questions and I also share a link where

you can find online reviews about this product and also where you can purchase

it so make sure to click the link right below and if you enjoyed this video

don't forget sums up and make sure to subscribe my channel in this button

below and take the bell icon so you'll get notified whenever I'm releasing a
