Hello everyone, thank you for joining me. I'm Kerri. Today I'll be showing you how

to make a fantail goldfish. I'll be making it in these colors today.

Now you'll need five colors of cotton or wool if you're doing the multicolored

goldfish, if not you'll need three colors. So I've got pink, orange, and yellow for

the goldfish, and black and white for the eyes. I've also got a crochet hook, a

darning needle, sewing needle, black and white thread to sew the eyes together

and to sew the eye on, and scissors. Now I start with a magic loop, and work

three chain,

into the circle I'm going to work fourteen double crochet.

And then you pull the circle tight, and join with a slip stitch in the third

chain.

For row two we start with three chain, and work a double crochet in the same place

as the chain, and then we work two double crochet into each stitch around.

So I'll continue around and I'll meet you at the end of the row.

Now we join with a slip stitch in the third chain, and that completes row

two. For row three we start with one chain, and work a single crochet in the

same place as the chain. Now we work one single crochet into each of the next

four stitches.

Now one half double crochet into each of the next two stitches, and now we're

going to work two double crochet into the next stitch, and one double crochet

into the following two stitches, four times. So two double crochet into the

next stitch, and one double crochet into each of the following two stitches, four

times.

And now we work two double crochet into the next stitch,

one half double crochet into each of the next two stitches, and then one

single crochet into each of the next four stitches.

And we've got three stitches left. If we're doing the multicolored fish we'd

end off here. If you're doing an orange fish you'd

continue on with your orange.

For the mouth I join in pink to the next stitch,

and I work four chain. If you were continuing with orange you would just slip

stitch into the next stitch, with your orange, and then work four chain. Now I do

one treble into the same place as the chain, one treble into the next stitch, four

chain, slip stitch into the same place as the last treble, four chain, and a treble

into the same stitch,

a treble into the next stitch, four chain, and then slip stitch into the same

stitch, and fasten off.

And that's the mouth done. I'm going to work the body now, so I join my thread

just after the second half double crochet. In there, we had five single

crochet and then two half double crochet. And I start with one chain, and then I

work a joined single crochet into the same stitch as the chain, and the next

stitch. So I bring up a loop from both those stitches and yarn around and

through the three loops, and then I work one chain and slip stitch into the same

stitch as the last single crochet. Now I slip stitch into the next stitch, and

work two chain. Now I'm going to work a joined half double crochet into the same

stitch as the chain and the next stitch. So I put my yarn around the hook in to

the same stitch and pull up a loop, and then I put my yarn around the hook into

the next stitch pull up a loop, and yarn around and through all the stitches.

And then work two chain and slip stitch into the same spot. Now I slip stitch

into the next stitch, and I work three chain.

Now I'm going to work a joined double crochet into the same stitch as the

chain and the next stitch.

And then three chain and slip stitch into the same place as the last double

crochet, and then slip stitch into the next stitch, and we're going to work six

of these double crochet clusters the same, so three chain, a joined double

crochet into the same place as the chain, and the next stitch, three chain, slip

stitch into the same spot, and then slip stitch into the next spot and start

another one,

and I'll continue working the joined double crochet clusters till I have six

of them.

Now I've got my first two clusters then I've got six double crochet clusters. So

I slip stitch into the next stitch, work two chain, and I work a joined half double

crochet into the the same stitch in the next stitch, and then work two chain and

slip stitch into the same stitch, and slip stitch into the next stitch, and

then I work one chain and work a joined single crochet cluster, and one chain and

slip stitch into the same stitch. And then I work one chain and turn. Now I'm

going to slip stitch into the bottom of the cluster, first cluster, and work three

chain, and then slip stitch into the bottom of the next cluster, and work

three chain,

and just continue like that. Three chain and continue slip stitching into the bottom.

When we've finished, we work one chain and then slip stitch into the first three

chain loop. Now we work three chain, and we're going to work a join double

crochet, three chain, slip stitch into the same loop, and then slip stitch into the

next loop, and we've got a cluster. Three chain and do another join double crochet.

And three chain and slip stitch into the same loop, and slip stitch into the next

loop. We'll work that across into all our three chain loops, so just three

chain and joined double crochet and then three chain and slip stitch into

the same spot.

Now that's the third row done. Now we're going to repeat rows two and three. So we start

with one chain and then slip stitch into the bottom of this cluster, and work

three chain, and then slip stitch into the next cluster, the bottom of the next

cluster. So we're going to work that right across and we're going to continue

working the treble clusters into each three chain space until we have the

last, one last cluster. So I'll do that and I'll come back. So I've finished my

last cluster, so I'll fasten that one off.

Now that's what it looks like on the back. Now I'll just end, weave in my

endings and I'll be back and we'll start on the tail. I'm going to start with this

bottom part of the tail. So I join my yarn just in at the bottom part of this

cluster, the last cluster, just in there, and I work fifteen chain.

Now I miss the first chain and I single crochet into the next three chain,

and then one half double crochet into each of the next two chain,

and then two double crochet into each of the next two chain,

and then I do one treble into each chain to the end.

I do have my patterns on my website in both US and UK terminology, if you're

having trouble with anything. The details of my website are in the description down

below.

Now we slip stitch into the back, towards the top of the cluster. And then we

turn our work and single crochet into the first eight stitches.

Now we work fifteen chain,

and work a single crochet in the second chain from the hook, and then a half

double crochet into the following chain.

Now we work one double crochet into each of the next five stitches.

Next we work one treble into each of the next four stitches,

and then two treble into the next stitch,

and two treble into the following stitch as well.

Now we're going to work one treble into each of the next five stitches down the

tail.

Now two double crochet into the next stitch,

two half double crochet into the following stitch, a single crochet into

the next stitch and then slip stitch into the base of the tail. Now we'll

start on this part here, and we start with twenty-five chain,

and we miss the first chain and we single crochet into each

of the next two stitches, and then one half double crochet into each of the

next two stitches.

Now one double crochet into each of the next seven stitches.

Next one treble into each of the next five stitches.

Now two treble into the next stitch,

and two treble into each of the next two stitches,

and now one double crochet into each of the remaining chain,

and a double crochet into the base of the first tail part, just down at the

bottom near the cluster.

Now we join into the side of the cluster, and work one chain and turn. Now we work

one half double crochet. Into the next stitch we work one double crochet, and

then we work one treble into each of the next three stitches.

Now we work two treble into the next stitch, and one treble into the following

stitch three times.

Now work two double crochet into the next stitch, a double crochet into the

following stitch, one half double crochet into the next stitch, then a single

crochet, and a slip stitch, and then we turn, and that's this part finished. Now

we slip stitch into the next stitch, then work a single crochet,

one half double crochet, and then we work two double crochet into the next

stitch,

two double crochet into the next stitch and then one double crochet into the

following stitch, we'll do that five times.

Now two half double crochet into the next stitch, a single crochet, and then we

do a joined single crochet over the following two stitches, and then we turn,

a slip stitch into the first stitch, and then we're going to work thirteen single

crochet,

and now work seventeen chain.

We miss the first chain and we work one single crochet into each of the next

two stitches,

and then one half double crochet into each of the next two,

one double crochet in the next stitch,

and then two double crochet into the following stitch.

Now we work one double crochet into each of the next four stitches.

And now we're going to work one treble into each stitch along to the join.

Now we work two double crochet into the first two stitches,

now one double crochet into each of the next four stitches,

two double crochet into the next stitch,

one double crochet into the next, and then two double crochet into the following

stitch.

Now we'll work two half double crochet into the next stitch, now we single

crochet over the remaining stitches,

and then join with the slip stitch, and that's your tail finished. I'll fasten

that one off. Now I'll just weave in my ending so they don't get in the way.

We'll do this fin now. So for the front bottom fin we start just behind

the cluster, the first cluster,

and start with five chain, we miss the first chain and we single crochet into

the second chain from the hook, and then we work a half double crochet, and then

we work two double crochet into the next chain,

and a treble into the last chain,

and then we slip stitch into the body,

and fasten off.

For the back fin,

just join about three rows back, in behind the cluster, and work nine chain

And we start with a half double crochet in the third third chain from the hook,

a double crochet in the next chain, and then a decreased treble over the next

two stitches,

and then we just treble over the remaining stitches,

and then slip stitch into the body,

and fasten off.

And they're the bottom fins. For the top fins we start about half way between the

tail and the face. I'll start in about there,

and work four chain, we single crochet in the second chain from the hook, and then

work one half double crochet into each of the other two chain,

and then slip stitch into the body, and then work a single crochet into the next

stitch, and then work five chain,

and we work a single crochet and a half double crochet in the second chain from

the hook, and then two double crochet into the next stitch,

then double crochet into the following chain, and then two double crochet into

the last chain,

and then slip stitch into the body,

single crochet into the next stitch.

Now we work eleven chain,

and we work a single crochet and a half double crochet in the second chain from

the hook,

and then two half double crochet into the following stitch,

and then one double crochet into each of the next two stitches,

two double crochet into the next stitch,

one treble into the next stitch,

two treble in the next,

and then one treble into the following, each of the following two stitches,

and slip stitch into the body,

and single crochet into the next stitch,

then work eight chain,

and work a single crochet and a half double crochet in the second chain from

the hook,

one decrease double crochet over the next two stitches,

and then double crochet over the rest of the chain,

and join with a slip stitch into the body and fasten off.

And that's all the fins done.

For the white of the eye we start with a magic loop, and work three chain, and work

twelve double crochet into our circle.

Pull our circle tight, and slip stitch into the third chain and fasten off.

For the inner eye we use black and start with the magic loop, and start with one

chain and work eight single crochet into the circle,

and pull the circle tight, and slip stitch into the chain, and fasten off.

Now I'll weave in my endings and I'll be back to put it together. Now my endings

are finished off, next I'll attach the inner eye to the outer eye, just in like

that. So I'll stitch that on and I'll be back.

Now next we stitch the eye to the face,

just in there, I'll stitch that on and I'll be back. Now there's the goldfish

Makeup Myths You Need To Stop Believing Now - Duration: 5:16.

From a DIY Adele signature cat eye to where to find the best lipsticks for winter, there's

a beauty enthusiast around every corner, eagerly awaiting to share their advice.

But how do you separate the facts from the fails?

Experts weigh in on makeup myths we can all stop believing, right now.

Conceal your eyes first

Let's face it: concealer's our BFF for under-eye circles after a bad night's sleep.

Celeb makeup artist for Bravo and E! Michelle Quaranta says, "You will hear many people

say to conceal your eyes first then finish the rest of the face.

I save time and find it much more effective to do your eye makeup first, leaving under-eye

clean.

Then apply your foundation and finish the look by concealing the eyes last."

This method, she explains, allows you to clean up anything that has fallen underneath your

eyes that might otherwise cast a shadow, making dark circles look even darker.

Thick brows always work

Stars like Cara Delevigne and Lilly Collins serve major eyebrow envy — so much so, that

statement brows have basically taken over the internet.

But this look doesn't work for everyone.

That's because, according to Quaranta, far too many of us draw-in our eyebrows, forcing

a shape that's not natural to our face.

She says, "Enhance your natural shape and fill in to give depth or add color.

But do not take away from the rest of your beautiful features."

What works for Lilly Collins might not work for all of us, and that's OK!

Must-have brushes

Many makeup experts swear by foundation brushes.

But the truth is, there are many effective tools you can use to apply your daily foundation.

Quaranta says, "On myself, I love the beauty blender or a fluffy brush.

On set I find that to be the same for beautiful, flawless, airbrushed looking skin."

Never use your fingers

Talk about false!

As it turns out, your fingers can be as good as any beauty tool out there.

Beverly Hills dermatologist Tsippora Shainhouse says, "Many people are afraid to touch their

face with their hands when applying makeup in fear of spreading germs."

But your fingers can actually be great for applying liquid foundation and cream blushes.

"The warmth that they supply helps blend the pigment into the skin most naturally.

Just make sure that your hands are clean before you start and try not to double-dip into any

potted or cushioned products."

Order doesn't matter

From foundation to moisturizer, primer to concealer, there are so many products made

for our faces.

But what should we put on first?

Dr. Shainhouse says order really does matter!

She explains, "When layering beauty products...put active ingredients closest to the skin, and

layer from lightest to heaviest.

If you wear acne medication or use an anti-aging serum, apply this first.

Then apply a lightweight moisturizer."

Primer can be layered next to seal in the moisture, followed by sunscreen and then makeup

— if you're feelin it!

Use a lighter concealer

Lighter isn't always better when it comes to concealer.

According to anti-aging expert Sharrona Katz-Moulay, head esthetician at Aesthetics by Norden,

there are a variety of colors we should all consider when it comes to choosing concealer

tints.

She says, "Green neutralizes and masks red lesions, while yellow will camouflage dark

circles and bruises.

Mauve helps neutralize yellowish blemishes and sallow skin, and a white pearled base

helps minimize wrinkles."

Got SPF?

Skip the sunscreen

Who doesn't love a good tinted moisturizer?

Add in a bit of SPF and you really don't need anything else, right?

Not quite!

Skincare expert Rianna Loving, founder of Organic to Green, says, "Just because your

makeup has some sun protection in it does not mean you are fully protected from harmful

UVA and UVB rays...Consider the length of time you will be exposed to the sun.

Remember, even the strongest and best sunscreen products warn that they need to be reapplied

frequently."

High price = high quality

If you've got Sephora taste with a Dollar Store budget, we've got some good news for

you.

Higher price doesn't always mean higher quality.

In fact, most makeup contains similar ingredients.

Sharrona Katz-Moulay says, "Expensive brands are not safer in terms of ingredients than

cheaper over-the-counter brands."

Since the FDA doesn't regulate cosmetics in the U.S., Katz-Moulay says it's important

to read labels, regardless of where you're shopping.

She explains, "As a basic rule, less ingredients is better then a long list of ingredients."

She also suggests avoiding things like fragrances, parabens, talc, formaldehyde, and D&C, which

stands for artificial colors that come from coal, tar and petroleum.

It's bad for your skin

It's easy to blame makeup for anything that goes wrong with our skin.

But it turns out that our favorite foundation may not be to blame for those annoying blackheads.

Founder and director of Capital Laser & Skin Care, Dr. Elizabeth Tanzi, says, "Makeup is

not bad for the skin.

In fact, most offer some sun protection and are non-comedogenic, which means they won't

clog pores."

Guess we'll have to blame the dog, instead!

It doesn't expire

Nothing lasts forever, including your favorite makeup.

Dr. Tanzi says, "These products are tested to last for a certain period of time, but

after that, the ingredients can break down [and] may not be as effective."

So when should you dump that old lipstick?

The doc says six months after the expiration date is when it's time to throw it out.

10 Ways Games & Anime Have Censored Smoking - Duration: 9:23.

Censored Gaming has reported many times in the past about how the localization process

can affect the portrayal of smoking.

Worldwide governments and age ratings often put strong pressure on companies to remove

tobacco references from their products.

Anime and many video games are produced in Japan where such rules are more lax, so localizing

these properties can mean censoring tobacco use.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at ten times videogames and anime have censored

smoking.

Number One: One Piece Licensed by 4kids entertainment in 2004, One

Piece, the shounen hit about a group of pirates led by Monkey D. Luffy, has suffered from

a number of localization issues.

Along with violence, smoking was common in the original anime and 4Kids heavily censored

it for US distribution.

Notoriously, Sanji, the cook of the straw hat pirates, had his chain smoking habit transformed

into a lollipop fixation.

Rather than being digitally removed, 4kids redrew all Sanji's cigarettes into candy.

Other characters didn't fare much better.

The Marine officer Smoker had his name changed to "Chaser" and had his twin cigars edited

out.

The smoke coming from his mouth was attributed to eating a "smoke smoke" devil fruit.

Even after Funimation took over the project in 2007, the TV version continued to face

censorship.

While Funimation restored many elements like real guns, smoking was deemed unacceptable

for Cartoon network and was edited out.

Fortunately though, Funimation released unedited DVD's, appeasing fans of the series.

Number Two: Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal.

Pokémon is a storied franchise in both the videogame and anime word.

It also has a long history of censorship across the franchise.

Pokémon has routinely altered video game character designs to remove sexually suggestive

or religious themes, but the redesigns don't end there.

In the classic second generation of Pokémon the fisherman trainer originally had a smoking

habit,in keeping with the Japanese fisherman stereotype.

In the original art you can see the little cigarette sticking out of the fisherman's

mouth.

But international versions removed the offending cigarette, leaving the Pokémon trainer smokeless.

Furthermore, for the final second generation release, Pokémon Crystal, the cigarette was

then removed from the Japanese version as well, matching the earlier Western change.

Number Three: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Censorship is not limited to countries outside

Japan.

While more lax then in the west, they have their own standards and practices.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has a long history of censorship both in the west and in Japan

due to the level of violence found in the anime and videogames.

But once again, censorship did not stop with violence.

Since 2014, Japanese broadcasts of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure have covered over Jotaro

Kujo's underage smoking habit with a bizarre shadow effect.

Before 2014 the smoking was uncensored and can be seen in older DVD's.

The shadow does nothing to hide the fact that he's smoking, it just obscures the details.

The rising smoke and the cigarette's flame are clearly visible.

The other characters even point out that he's smoking.

Ironically, American networks have often added censorship to anime, but when Jojo's Bizarre

Adventure came to Toonami in 2016 the programing block aired it uncensored.

Number Four: Streets of Rage 2 The early nineties' Streets of Rage was a

series of beat 'em up games in the style of Double Dragon.

Published by Sega, the game series is also known as the Bare Knuckle series in Japan.

Compared to many video games of the time, Streets of Rage and Streets of Rage 2 had

very little censorship.

The first game was released uncensored outside of Japan.

The second game however suffered from a few censorship issues, one of these including

tobacco use.

In the Japanese version of Streets of Rage 2, the crime lord and main antagonist of the

series, Mr. X enjoys a cigar in the background before the last battle, casting it away before

joining the fight.

International releases of the game removed the offending object.

The related animation where he throws the cigar away before joining the fight was also

removed.

Number five: Yu Yu Hakusho The classic supernatural battle classic Yu

Yu Hakusho suffered censorship both in Japan and abroad.

Smoking is a common feature of the original manga and anime.

Several characters indulge in it, such as Yusuke's mother, his teacher Genkai, along

with several villains and side characters.

In keeping with Toonami's standards and practices, censors edited the anime to avoid

showing tobacco use.

Even in cases where it's integral to the plot, censors chose to cut out segments of

the show rather than expose viewers to smoking.

In episode 11, a scene where Yusuke explains how he used a thrown away cigarette to keep

track of an enemy in total darkness was cut out.

But even before the anime came to the US, Yu Yu Hakusho faced censorship issues over

smoking.

Yusuke himself smoked in the original manga but this was not included even in the Japanese

version of the anime.

Most likely, censors felt it would be best not to portray the fourteen year old hero

as a smoker.

Number Six: Mario's Picross Developed by Jupiter and Nintendo and released

in 1995 for the Game Boy, Mario's Picross didn't include characters that smoked but

did include an ash tray puzzle with a still smoking cigarette.

The game included sixty four puzzles.

When the player solves them they each display a different image.

The depiction of the ash tray was too indicative of smoking for censors.

Censors removed the offending image, and replaced it with a buddy rabbit.

They also removed several depictions of alcohol beverages and Japanese cultural artifacts.

These were replaced with more innocuous or culturally neutral images.

For instance, as shown here, localizers replaced an image of a Buddhist deity with a picture

of chili peppers.

Number seven: The Big O The Big O, the sci-fi mystery anime about

a post-apocalyptic city that lost its memories, was a beloved among western audiences, but

its Toonami heavily censored its initial release.

Famously, many references to religion were removed from the TV cut, but other targets

for censors were The Big O's violence and depiction of tobacco use.

Censors either cut or digitally altered scenes featuring smoking, nearly erasing any references

to tobacco use from the show.

There is an odd twist here.

Despite the edits, the initial Toonami run was incredibly popular.

So much so that Sunrise and Cartoon network Studios joined forces to produce a second

season.

In 2003, Adult Swim began airing the series uncut and released the new second season in

the same fashion.

Number eight: Megaman X7 Megaman X7, or Rockman X7 in Japan, came out

to mixed reviews, but in terms of censorship it got off quite light.

However censors were not willing to turn a blind eye to the presence of tobacco products.

Near the beginning of Megaman X7 the game shows a Reploid named Aluce conducting a shady

business deal.

Throughout the short video he smokes a cigar.

The cigar is somewhat stylized, featuring an exaggerated shape and an off colored flame.

Moreover the smoker himself is a non-human robot, but neither of these facts dissuaded

localizers from removing the appearance of smoking from the game.

In international releases they edited out the cigar completely.

Number nine: Resident Evil The original Resident Evil has gone through

a few incarnations, including a complete remake, but it's the first game, for the PlayStation

which has a problem with smoking.

In the Japanese version of the game, STARS member Chris Redfield is a smoker and in the

opening intro he lights up a cigarette.

In most international versions however they replaced this scene with a montage of different

shots.

Interestingly, though, you can still hear the sound of Chris's cigarette lighter in

the background.

This censorship also affected Chris' bad ending, with the Japanese versions showing a depressed

and disheveled Chris Redfield light a cigarette and start smoking.

In most international version the scene cuts out early.

Adding insult to injury an "uncensored" director's cut was released a year later

in 1997 with all the censorship intact thanks to a localization error.

Thankfully the same year a PC version was released which finally gave western fans an

uncensored version of the game

Were almost done but there's time for one more.

Number ten: Rurouni Kenshin In 2003, Toonami's airing of Rurouni Kenshin,

the story of a former assassin with a vow to never kill again, was not only widely popular,

but often pushed the envelope of what the programing block could get away with.

But the series still didn't air without heavy censorship of violence, cursing and tobacco

use.

While Japanese shounen anime rarely show underage characters engaging in drug use, that rule

does not apply to adult characters.

They are often shown drinking alcohol or smoking.

These are common activates in Rurouni Kenshin's unusually mature setting of Meiji era Japan.

The show would be incredibly difficult to show in its original context without keeping

some of these elements.

Cartoon Network's 2003 running of the anime didn't remove these elements entirely but

did try to tone them down.

Perhaps Saito Hajime: the former Shinsengumi captain and series anti-hero, suffered the

worse from this.

But the edits were inconsistent.

In one episode Saito's cigarette became a toothpick while in another scene he was

smoking again.

Censorship is a wide field and Censored Gaming is committed to covering all types of censorship,

There have been many films coming out looking at life after death

at least somewhat differently but yet still scary, so that plays a part in people's idea.

"Oh, I don't want to see spirits, or do spirits really exist? Is it just hocus-pocus?"

But they seem to make things that way for some reason because perhaps

they themselves are afraid, they are afraid of what they might see or what

that might mean to them deep down inside of themselves.

I am afraid of pain,

the process of dying but I know that when I die, my life will go on.

And so it's only natural that we fear the unknown.

But in Spiritism you say it should be something normal,

it shouldn't be something that is scary for us because we are all born,

we die and then we are reborn again.

This is the law, this is what is gonna happen to all of us

independent of what we believe in.

We absolutely can say life continues after death

and, in fact, we also believe that life precedes birth.

So the cycle of life is one that always continues.

We are here living a physical experience.

Our reality is, indeed, in the spiritual realm.

So this is only a fraction, a small second of our existence.

Death is simply a moment of transition from this world to another world.

If you know that there is life after death and there is a continuation,

would you act the same way?

Would you treat people the same way knowing that you might run into them again

but there might be some kind of Judgment Day?

It will take a little bit of time for us to to come to terms

with the idea that death does not exist.

It's just kind of a transformation piece

but it's a hard one because it's a personal choice.

Think about your own death, think about the death of your mother, your father, your sibling, your dog.

Think about how you would feel once your mother, your father, your sister, or you yourself would die.

Begin to live your life we would say none of the morbid sense

but be ready for it, so once death becomes closer to us,

or it's knocking on our door, whether it's spontaneous, whether you just

lose a loved one in a car accident,

it's not such an emotional trauma,

because once you begin thinking you're preparing your mind for something every day,

it's not such a big deal once it happened.

And we keep living at the other side of life,

at the other realm of life.

So this separation it's only temporarily,

it's only a moment we'll meet one day our loved ones, and our enemies too.

So that's why transforming ourselves, making us a better person, a better human beings

preparing ourselves to once this moment arrives to our existence,

we can do this transpass, this crossover, as many people say, in a very nice way.

It's not so necessary for us to focus on that which is

impenetrable but it's better for us to focus on our imperfections,

work on ourselves, be a better person,

and that will lead us towards a much happier path,

independent of our religious ideas or belief systems.
