is ACCOUNTING A GOOD CAREER ?? / How Much MONEY can you MAKE as an ACCOUNTANT if that is your CAREER - Duration: 12:35.

cpa strength here back with another video this one's gonna be about as a

counting a good career what do you think about accounting and etc etc let's just

cut to the chase yes I think accounting is a great career to have when I got my

job at a CPA firm the my boss CPA said oh great you're an accountant you'll

never be out of work and I thought about it and I'm like yeah okay I don't know

yes yeah once I got my accounting to Gardner be out of work

I mean I've looked for jobs for a little bit but you know so yes I think you'll

you'll have a job and in the future in the future if you know I here's what I

think I think in the future you don't really know I mean I think a lot of

things are going towards the internet and and like people don't want to see

anybody like you know you order on Amazon and stuff so maybe you can't

predict like you know okay like if you got a if you have a blockbuster video

that's how to business right but there's new businesses that that are taking over

now like Amazon that wasn't there before so you don't really know possibly what

businesses are gonna be in in in our life of five years 10 years 15 20 years

down the road although whatever businesses are there

are gonna need an accountant so I believe you have job stability forever

and the long range now too and just think about do you know how many

accountants do know any accounts personally that have an accounting

degree from a four-year four-year university

do they have jobs are they unemployed do they seem to have a nice lifestyle just

all I'm saying I mean you know there's just there's different there's all kinds

of different things you can do with in accounting with an accounting license

and I wanted to get that that off the bat in the beginning - what I just

thought yeah it's a good career I'd say there's there's longevity in it because

you always need one there is a lot of things you can do with an accounting

degree alright I think number I think I just said the number one like the number

one thing is look at other people with an accounting degree and see how their

lifestyle is they're you know are they employed I think that's the most

important thing like is it a good degree to have wool I mean yeah it's fun

knowledge coming for me it's fun knowledge to have to know debits and

credits but I mean like if I was going to say you know a lot of people are

taking this in college right now taking accounting in college and wondering you

know is this a good major or they're taking they're just signing up or I

don't you know I'm just giving my two cents because but I am totally biased

because I'm an accountant I am a CPA so that you know if I didn't think it was

an awesome career well I would be doing something else so I mean I need to speak

for myself but I love it now that I've you know done for fast as I always get

ah you can't explain your video in in two minutes yeah I know but so I felt

like I explained I explained that let's see what's going on is accounting a good

profession yes yes it is Oh because basically we've had the same

accounting system like this double entry accounting system debits and credits

with assets draw withdraws expenses liabilities equity revenues all these

things that can be debits are credits and journal entries and balance sheets

tax return a balance sheet income statement and that's basically the whole

world has used like basically the same thing for 500 years the whole

world and I and I know this because I teach basic accounting for beginners to

pretty much the whole world on YouTube and it's changed my life and it's

amazing but I'm not even getting into that I'm just like I said a good

profession to have to be an accountant to say hey I'm an accountant you know

can you put food on the table yeah man yeah you can put food on the table when

people okay you're like yeah but how much can you make that's what everyone

always wants to do how much do you make how much meeting me I don't know why you

want to limit yourself like that like but but I understand where you're coming

from I understand where you're coming from I used to be like that too I want

to make a hundred thousand a year and I'll show everybody like okay buddy like

just do your thing but you know how easily the thing was ever an accounting

degree I don't really think there's a limit you know then then you could do to

be a CPA you can have your own business I don't think I I think you're gonna be

from Darin I think my first job was 26 thousand a year or something but then

like it got twisted I got a raise then it was like $14 an hour for a little bit

and then $16 an hour for a little bit and then and then it was $19 for a

little bit so like I just kept on getting raises at this place I was at it

was awesome and that was like my first job at a CPA firm I get I kept on

getting raises I believe you know because I was good worker but like the

last one it was like I got my CPA license and then I think but so that's

like the $19 is like 40 grand a year so that

it's not you know so I'd say you know you're gonna make 26 to decide say I

started at 26 but I was up to 40 within

you know two years and then if I didn't veer off and go to my own job I mean I

guess like her pride her probably went to somewhere else and make fifty sixty

seven you know I don't really think there's a limit on how much you can make

really with this accounting thing I mean I don't know I just don't even think

like that so for me to put a top at not it is not like even in my thing cuz I'm

like I ain't trying to ever do that to myself anymore I don't just scare people

off with it's hard I guess I try to make it seem like it's easy or like I don't

want to make it seem like it's easy I just want to make it seem like if you

practice and put your mind to something you can do anything and I think I know

it sounds cheesy but it just seems like in this day and age you can really will

yourself to anything like you're watching me right now that means you're

on the internet somehow I mean if you're watching me on the internet you can do

anything else and the internet another reason why I think that accounting is

gonna be a great field in the future only because whatever businesses survive

they're gonna need an accountant every business needs an accountant that's for

businesses and that's not even my favorite thing anymore oh and I run

payroll for companies too I have once I set everything up I have a lot of

software to do everything and but I know the debits and credits behind it where

no one else knows it so that all this is what I'm getting this is another thing

that I'm getting at is that you start you start being an accountant like what

anyways I start I started having my own business and who are my clients going to

be who are my clients going to be people with lots of money that are doing well

for themselves and they need someone to guide them with

tax this can be a money manager money planner you know what should I do they

want to trust somebody you know and so who do I spend most of my days who do I

spend most of my time with like rich people like millionaires like I'm not

even I'm not even really kidding like like I people make a quarter of a

million dollars a year or half a million a year and I'm like yeah what's our dog

I mean that's just how I roll and it's awesome so you know how it's like yo

when I when I used to be running them streets you know I used to be hanging

out with other people that was running in them streets and my life was getting

nowhere fast nowhere nowhere now I got an accounting degree I start you know so

it's like who's gonna use my services is people with a lot of money and that's

what I think is successful that's like my scorecard you know what I'm saying

cuz I'm not doing like sports I'm not trying to get it off the muscle anymore

you know cuz that you know I'm trying to get off the brain so off the brain the

scorecard for me is like how much money you have so these people are very

successful in my eyes and that's who I'm running with now with my accounting

degree whilst I think accounting is awesome because I think a lot more

people are getting off w-2s now alright so I think a lot I feel a lot more

people are getting 1099 like I get I get an ad Google Google sends me money every

month you know the but they don't take taxes I'm not like an employee of an

independent contractor for them they sent me a 1099 so I have to pay taxes on

my income at the end of the year what I'm getting at is I think it's like a

gig base and I think the world economy with the internet being what it is and

every I think the traditional nine-to-five job

like you're like you get a w-2 you just clock in somewhere clock out

I think that's getting I think it's going to go lower and lower as the years

progress and the gig economy and people getting 1099s and paying their taxes at

the end of the year it's going to be heavily increasing in the next 10 to 20

years I I'll be it and I just and and then when you're doing that now you're

paying self-employment tax and all the stuff and it will and so more and more

people will need an accountant Howard is now if you just get a w-2 and that's

what you do like you can just pretty much take a picture of your tax return

and you don't really need an accountant for anything like you know anyways this

is CPA strength I absolutely love doing this YouTube and man just try to be nice

to everybody be blessed be positive this is this this this kit if you're

struggling this can be a really awesome life I don't know I wake up every

morning and I'm just like not like yesterday I had to do some like

accounting work so I'm like Dorn CPA stuff I couldn't just YouTube all day

and I mean that is what it is it's like but anyways till tomorrow I love you

guys bye

I FAIL to get the MOOZ 3-in-1 Printer Working😢 - Duration: 18:41.

Today I have a three in one machine to show you. It's called the MOOZ.

It is a 3D printer, it's a laser engraver and also a CNC machine

And this one is the control panel. It looks like a phone but it's definitely not a phone.

This is the base. It has a lot of ports.

Underneath there are some cables and some samples of wood so that I can practice CNC and laser engraving.

The second layer we have power adapter and a power cable.

Underneath is the 3d printer filament.

I think this is the build plate for CNC and laser engraver.

It can hold a piece of wood or other material.

And this is the build plate for the 3D printer.

This one is for 3D printer.

Looking at the nozzle I think before they sent it out they already tested it. Which is good.

This one I'm pretty sure is for the CNC machine it's got the CNC head.

The last one is the laser engraver.

I've got to say the packaging is really tight and solid.

I don't think it will have any problem when shipping overseas

These are linear motors

Oh and one thing I forget to mention. You'll feel it when you take it out of the box.

They're made out of anodized aluminum and some black plastic.

I don't know if eventually it will work but if it turns out doesn't work. It still feels really really nice

I don't think I will hear complaints about the build quality.

One thing we're missing I don't see any instruction. The manuals.

You know I have a little bit of a technical background but I'm good at following tutorials and instructions.

Right now I have to take a break and ask them for an instruction and then I will

come back and keep filming I guess.

Okay they emailed me and sent me the instructions.

I have the PDF on my phone it's pretty clear and easy to read.

but unfortunately it is easy to read in Chinese.

they don't have an English version yet.

So I can't talk about it until I check the English version and see if it's okay for you guys.

I'm using the electric screwdriver today. It's a bit easier.

I don't think anyone want to see me spend all day trying to spin the Allen key around and around.

First I'm talking off all the screws on the base so it will be easier to put the motor on the top

because I think there is not enough space

for me to put the motor on the side, so I'm just going to take the base off first.

This is their motherboard.

I'm using the..

I'm using the 8 millimeter M3 screw to screw on the base.

This is the Z-axis so I have to use the splitter to connect to the Z-axis.

I think they have a nice interface.

I'm going to move the Z-Axis up so that I can put the plate in.

All right let's put the 3d printing plate on the Y-axis.

Let's just test and see if the motion is working okay and then I can try out the heads.

Okay guys. It has been a few weeks I have been communicating with the boss and the workers at Mooz.

Back and forth.

But there are some issues and let me show you the problems I've encountered.

First I'm going to feed in the filament into the extruder

and I'm going to first cut an angle on it. Otherwise it's very hard to just jam it in.

Before we put it in of course we need to heat it up first.

So let's press the button like a wave button, and then it is going to heat up to 200 degrees.

It must have hit the fan inside so now I have to pull it out.

Sometimes it does that sometimes you put it in the wrong direction.

You will know it's the wrong direction, because the fan is very close to the

extruder so that's one thing you need to know.

So now I'm going to try to feed it in again.

Right now we have to set the Z height. Because there is no way to level the bed.

There's no leveling like the other printers.

Just like other printers I'm going to use a piece of paper to test the distance between the extruder and the bed.

Even though I have small fingers, it is still hard for me to

use this touch panel. So I'm just going to use the Allen key to control it.

What? Can't it go down?

So even now when I set the Z-axis to zero the extruder is not touching the bed.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't when I restart the printer sometimes it works but most of the time

it takes a while for me to get it working and the annoying thing is

when I tap the left button it wouldn't go to -0 or maybe it hits the limit.

If so and it's not touching the bed

what else can I do? I don't know what to do

Okay I finally set it to zero. I tried it a bunch of times.

It's inconsistent. I can't tell you which way is the right way to get it

working because you have to turn it on and off and then you try a

bunch of times and hopefully it would work. And now it works.

But I have spent too much time on it.

But for you if you can figure out a way to do it that would be great. Let me know.

But now I'm going to hit the home button.

Let's double check.

And now let's hit Print. Let's choose a file. I'm using their G-code.

The G-code file they give me.

So let's print out the second one Totoro. Let's try that.

So the extruder has already heated up and now it is just sitting there doing nothing.

I'm going to cancel it and let's try another G-code file.

But actually I've tried them all. But I just want to you guys to see what's going on here.

So let's cancel it.

Well it seems it is frozen now. Let me restart it.

Dorus

Okay I can not give my recommendation for this machine.

This is a 3 in 1 machine. It's a laser engraver, CNC and 3D printer combination.

Because I haven't been able to make it work for me. But all of you know I only have very basic skills.

Maybe someone like you or someone who has a higher skill can make it work.

It is a very well-made machine, the built quality is good.

And the people at the company they're very nice they're honest.

I think they are honest. They're not trying to cheat anybody but I couldn't get it working so

I am not comfortable recommending it.

So that's the review. Thanks a lot for watching.

See you next time.

Bright fall weather through the weekend _ 101317 - Duration: 1:15.

Now we turn to our Michelle Park at the weather center for the latest updates.

Michelle, it was a little warmer today than to the past couple of days.

Yes Daniel, and due to that chilly weather we had, the leaves have changed color faster

than expected.

Currently, the mountains in northern regions are at their peak.

By next week the whole nation will see fall foliage.

You can expect similar bright conditions tomorrow with Seoul starting out the morning at 11

degrees Celsius while Daegu and Busan begin at 10 and 14 degrees.

There will be a huge jump in the afternoon.

Seoul topping out at 20 degrees Celsius while Gwangju and Busan peak at 21 and 22 degrees.

It'll stay sunny through next week for most places except for Jeju Island.

The highs will stay relatively warm,... lingering in the twenties.

However, keep in mind that it gets chilly instantly in the mornings and nights.

I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.

Samsung predicts record profits for third quarter - Duration: 2:05.

Samsung Electronics announced earnings guidance for Q3 shows record profits ahead.

The tech titan's CEO also stepped up to the podium, but with a different news.

He plans to walk away from the company... to make way for a fresh face.

Kim Hye-sung zooms in on the roller coaster day for the nation's top conglomerate.

Record profits in the third quarter.

Samsung Electronics said Friday it expects unprecedented operating profits of around

12-point-8 billion U.S. dollars for the July to September period, almost tripling from

the same period last year,... also beating a Thomson Reuters average forcast of 12-point-6

billion dollors.

The tech giant's revenue rose nearly 30 percent on-year to 62 trillion Korean won, close to

55 billion dollars.

Experts attributed the record profits on rising demand for displays and memory chips.

(Korean)- "On top of memory chips like DRAM and OLED,

sales of the newly released Galaxy Note 8 smartphone, further lifted its mobile division

profits.

The Galaxy Note 8 is about 10% more expensive than the Note 7, yet sales are expected to

meet market estimates."

The break down of its performance by division will be clear when Samsung release its final

earnings result later this month.

Shortly after the guidance was released, however, Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman and CEO

Kwon Oh-hyun announced he is stepping down.

In a statement, Kwon said "the time has come for the company to start anew with new spirit

and young leadership to better respond to challenges."

Samsung said Kwon, who first joined the company in 1985, will not extend his term as chairman

of the board of directors, which expires in March.

While Samsung will likely enjoy another record earnings in the fourth quarter thanks to continued

rise in memory chip demand, experts say Samsung Chairman Lee Jae-yong's on-going trial and

diversifcation of its businesses remain as mid-to-long term challenges.

Kim Hyesung, Arirang News.

Don't arrive at the party on time in Brazil! パーティーに時間通りに行ってはダメ!ブラジル人の時間の感覚[Vlog#27] - Duration: 8:08.

Hi, what's up. It's Harumi.

I've got quite used to this "Brazilian time".

Now I even feel

it may be better this way.

Nowadays

I don't like to

schedule things.

I wasn't like this at all before.

I liked scheduling things perfectly

like from 9 to 11 I do this,

then at 11 do what..

everything in order.

Monday to Friday like that.

When my schedule book gets filled up with stuff

I go like "YES!".

I used to be like that but now..

Even the things for tomorrow..

I don't want to decide.

Schedule something on weekends

Brazilians don't even use the word "What time".

"Que horas"

I don't hear this phrase a lot in conversations..

When we have a meeting at the work

where has to be set the exact time

of course there exists a schedule.

But other than work..like on weekends and stuff

like "Let's have lunch together tomorrow!"

they don't really schedule the exact time the day before..

even on the day before!

So there is no way scheduling things a week,

two or three weeks..a month before!

A month before!? Impossible!!

Definitely we can't decide anything about in a month!

If you talk and try to plan something about in a month

people are not going to remember that.

So there is no use planning things.

Therefore we don't schedule!

The earliest..a couple of days before

you can mention

and try to decide details

and schedule..

People don't use

schedule book here

as much as Japanese people do.

A lot less..but actually

there isn't a lot of stuff

that has to be done in time.

The time goes by slowly here.

In Japan we have to get things done in the time that's scheduled

otherwise it can cause the rest,

whatever things that you may have to do, I think.

There may be other schedules..work..

whatever..you may have a TV program that you wanna watch..

There're so many things you have to do.

But here

as I always say

there's nothing to do in Cabo Frio.

Basically we never feel that we're

chased by something, thinking what to do next,

having to watch TV at what time..

Oh this TV thing reminded me of something.

When I'm watching TV

even though I personally don't watch TV a lot,

In Japan TV program always has

exact time to be air. Actually not only the hour but the minutes!

TV program starts at like 7:57.

Commercials on TV

It will be

after this program..

something like that..

It's not the time that they tell

but they say "It'll be this AFTER the news".

And then after the news it'll be that..

I've never heard the exact TIME of the program.

When you go to Rome, do as Romans do.

I have to get used in order to live here.

Because we're all surrounded by the environment like that.

Even if you live the way

trying to get things done

in time always

planning the way you want

first of all

nobody would help you.

And all the society is like that too.

Buses don't arrive in time.

Nothing works.

Nothing goes

the way that's planned.

That's why if you have bunch of plans

you can't do everything and YOU will get frustrated.

You'll be the one who gets nothing.

You'll be irritated by yourself

and no one understands you.

That's why you also

should live more relaxed

in that way

you get a better life here.

Appointment with Bruno

When we first stared going out

and one day

he said

well what did he say? I think he said "afternoon"

"I'll pick you up in the afternoon."

He said afternoon...so

it can be 1 o'clock the earliest

so I was up at 10

then got dressed

and wanted to be super ready

at least at 12:30,

so I was super ready

at 12:30.

Then I started to feel nervous..

But on that day the actual time

he showed up was 5 o'clock!

Sure it is still afternoon..but

I had to stay nervous till 5

being ready

not knowing what to do..

because I couldn't do anything important concentrated

expecting him to arrive anytime.

So in a result

for about 5 or 6 hours I was being nervous

and also started to be irritated

and my motivation was very low heat..

So that's what happened.

So after this

I found that I'll be the one who gets suffered

so after that day

when we promised something

I decided to start getting ready

when Bruno shows up.

I don't even take a shower

till he arrives,

get dressed..

Doing this way, he doesn't get stressed.

He waits for me. So I thought, well that's better then.

But so did I get used to this

right away then?

No, it wasn't that simple.

It took quite long.

It's really nowadays

that I feel comfortable being more laid back.

Numbers don't mean a lot.

If you promise something

with Brazilians at some exact time

for example let's say 3pm.

If, in Japan,

we are late like 5 minutes

it's considered to be late.

Before you arrive late you tell your friend

that you'll be late a bit.

This 'bit' is literally a bit but even a bit we tell people, normally.

It depends on people but generally we do.

We go like "sorry sorry sorry!"

Here..

half an hour late...

first of all it's not even

considered to be late. It's just 30 minutes.

At first when they set the time

it's just an aim.. 3 o'clock!

doesn't mean "3 o'clock" literally.

It's like 3pm = afternoon..

It's about 3....something like 3..3ish..

You can't be captured by this number 3

when they say 3.

You know what I mean..?

When you are invited to a birthday party or something

you CAN'T arrive on time.

Being a little late may be a good manner here.

Leave comments if you have anything to say.

Don't forget to LIKE the video

and subscribe the channel!

It's almost 1000 subscribers!

Ok then. See ya!!!

Out came the sun And dried up all the rain

And the itsy-bitsy spider Climbed up the spout again

S. Korea, Australia hold foreign, defense ministers meeting - Duration: 2:07.

The visiting Australian foreign and defense ministers sat down for talks with their South

Korean counterparts in the nation's capital.

Ways to coordinate efforts to deal with North Korea took center stage among various regional

security issues.

Kim Hyun-bin has more from the "two-plus-two" talks.

South Korea and Australia voiced deep concerns over rising tensions caused by North Korea's

endless provocations, and stressed the importance of resolving the regime's nuclear issues through

diplomatic means.

South Korea's Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and Defense Minister Song Young-moo met with

their Australian counterparts, Julie Bishop and Marise Payne at Seoul's foreign ministry,

for so-called 'two-plus-two' talks, which have been held every other year since 2013.

Top of the agenda was North Korea's provocations, including the regime's sixth nuclear test

and its series of ballistic missile launches.

(Korean) "Our two countries discussed ways to enhance

cooperation against North Korea's nuclear and missile threats and other defense and

security-related issues."

Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha said the two sides condemned the recent nuclear test by

the North, calling it a violation of UN Security Council resolutions.

The two sides agreed that diplomatic efforts are needed to peacefully achieve the regime's

complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization.

Australian foreign minister Bishop urged Pyongyang to come back to the negotiating table.

"And we have a very significant discussion on the ways that we can work together through

deep cooperation and collaboration with a view to deterring any future illegal test

by North Korea and to compel North Korea back to the negotiating table with an aim of denuclearizing

the Korean Peninsula,"

South Korea also holds two-plus-two talks, on the ministerial level, with the United

States.
