Hello! We continue with the basic course

cardboard furniture. If you have not seen you Lesson 1

I recommend you see it before proceeding with this video. You have the link in the

Information box. Now, we begin with Lesson 2. To

realize the explanation I have decided that we will make a table

because it is something very simple but you can apply this information to

perform other furniture.

Let's see how to get measurements without being a furniture designer.

There are several ways to do this and this is how I do.

You must first measure the space where the furniture will go, taking measurements

tall, wide and long.

Being a table as high'm going to define me because in space

Real high at my disposal is the roof.

Then considering other furniture in the room,

I will set my table will have a height of between 55 and 60 centimeters.

For width as the table goes in the middle,

I have taken the measure considering that it can pass easily between

table and other furniture so it should be between 50 and 60 centimeters.

Continuing with this slogan, the length of the table should have no more than 70 centimeters.

Being aware of the space that we can now realize

measures table. For this we break down the main parts

They will form the cabinet. Will the board and legs. For

set the table height I have to take into account these two pieces. I go

choose 55 centimeters to the overall height and the measure I have to

distribute between the top height and leg height.

The logic is that the legs are much higher than the board.

So I decide that the legs will have a height of 50 centimeters and the

board five centimeters. The measurement of the board may be smaller or

greater depending on the thickness you want him. And with that we would have the high

table. The width of the table we will give board. Given the

measures of space, I'll decant by 50 centimeters.

For long we will also only consider

board and will choose the maximum space that were 70 centimeters.

We have the measures on the table now let's realize a few more pieces.

I even drawing a sketch awful

But it is necessary.

We had said that the board would have a width of 50 centimeters,

70 centimeters long and high, which is the thickness that will have the board,

It will be 5 centimeters. We are the legs. We can make them

with square base of this style, which is what we normally see on a table,

but I'll show a much easier way. Make with a round base

oval u. We had set up 50 centimeter so now

I have to take the diameter of the legs. How do we do it? What I do is

I do think that if a leg like this, the measure of each side would be 5

centimeters and do not know if it makes sense mathematically what

I say but this is what works for me. What I do is multiply the 5

number of sides having the legs, which are four, and the result gives me

I use to make the diameter of the oval leg.

We get down to work.

To make table legs, let's cut four pieces of cardboard 50

centimeters high. The length will depend on the thickness

carton but approximately be about 80 centimeters.

Let's grab a roll of cardboard or something similar and we used to crimp the piece.

We remove the roll and now we go rolling up the piece evenly and

gluing with hot glue.

As we enrrollándolo have to check the diameter measurement.

In this case we must reach 20 centimeters.

If the piece of cardboard is small we unite the other end and

we continue rolling. And if we have too, just cut. To soften the

bonding paste paper tape.

This is a quick and easy way to make

paws. We repeat this step three more times and

We subject these parts.

To make the board we need three pieces of 50 x 70 centimeters.

We grabbed one of them and we will make a margin of 2.5 centimeters.

You can make it smaller but I would not recommend.

Then just where the lines intersect margin

let's draw the outline of the legs. You can do it directly with the leg

or use an object of the same diameter so that it may be easier.

These circles have them cut and we will remain so. We booked this

piece and grabbed another board. Now let's fill this piece

cardboard strips. To know the size must take into account the height

we decided for the board. There were five centimeters. Let's gather

all parts of the board and measuring the height of all joints.

It measures one centimeter so this is what we subtract the total measure and we

will the measure should have high strips: four centimeters.

Cut strips four centimeters high and long in this case is the

board or less. And let's sticking with hot glue on one of the

board pieces. First the edges and then inside.

When we have completely filled be stuck another piece of board

above. To make it easier you can fold the cardboard in this way and

then paste sections with hot glue.

Thus when a part is already stuck you can go without hitting the rest

fear that the workpiece moves.

After be stuck over the part in which we marked the contour

paws. This can be done with white glue and

then put some weight on it or do it with hot glue.

Then make sure the joints with paper tape.

We have all the pieces ready

to join them.

To paste the legs what I do is put white glue in the center and

then hot silicone around WTD.

I put the leg and stuffing union with hot glue.

Repeat this step with the rest. We will being well and we can make cartapesta.

If you have any questions, lesson one in which I explain how.

Cartapesta brings quite hard to furniture but still

need to strengthen the part of the legs. Put a few pieces between the

legs. You can put them halfway up or just when the board ends. measures

distance between the outside of each of the legs.

In my case I need two pieces of 65 by 10 cm for the longest part

table and two pieces of 45 by 10 centimeters for the shorter part.

Check that you agree that these measures may vary due to the type of

cardboard and pressure exerted by winding legs. These pieces were

You have to make cartapesta on both sides and then glue them to the table.

This step could be done before the cartapesta but it seems to me more

comfortable doing separately.

And here comes Lesson 2.

In the next video we can see how to decorate

cardboard furniture and teach you how to give an appearance of aged wood to

table. Do not miss! And let me remind you

little hand up and says it is looking like the course.

Ciao!

Visiting the federal parliament building in Bern - Duration: 4:50.

Hello everyone!

Today's setting:

the Federal Parliament.

It's the first time in my life

that I've been inside it.

Wow, look at that!

I'm meeting Corrado and Sibel,

who are both members of the

National Council with migrant backgrounds.

I'd like to ask them:

do you really think you're

achieving anything in here?

The session opens today.

It wasn't hard for us to

persuade you to leave the chamber.

Do you sense that being a

National Councillor really gives you any say in Switzerland?

Certainly I do.

And I think it's exciting to

be directly involved in Switzerland.

Corrado, you're the son of Italian immigrants.

Azzuro. How much of you is still Italian?

Both my parents come from Tuscany,

and everybody knows that Tuscany

is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

It may not always be obvious,

but when I cook pasta anyone can see that

I still have a good deal of italianità in me.

I'm an Italian, and I'm a good pianist.

Coffee tastes much better out of a glass than a cup.

(Greeting in Kurdish)

This is Sibel.

She's from Turkey with a Kurdish background,

but she's been living in Basel since the age of 11.

And she's a National Councillor.

There's something that would really surprise me:

do you really have any say in what happens here?

We all have a say in what happens here.

It's very abstract, it's about individual articles

and proposals that are then incorporated in legislation.

But being able to discuss that legislation,

to have a hand in making Switzerland what it is

– that's very important indeed.

I always thought politicians were ineffective.

They sit around all day talking.

But they're always on the go, from A to B and from B to C,

then they make a quick photocopy,

then there's a phone call,

another discussion and an interview.

And when there's a division

they all rush back into the chamber,

press a button - and then they're off again. Crazy!

How closely do you feel

connected to your roots - either in Basel or in Turkey,

where your parents come from?

Very closely, I think you always have to remember your roots,

otherwise how can you know

what to think about something new

that you've discovered for yourself?

Your roots are what mostly define you.

And I'm a Basel girl.

I can tell that from your accent!

But the connection with Turkey

and the place where I come from

– that's naturally very important too.

People who forget - or deny - where they come from

will also very soon forget what they're doing at the moment.

That's why we should be conscious of our migrant backgrounds.

It's particularly valuable that a second-generation immigrant

can take a seat on the National Council.

What does that mean to you?

It's an enormous privilege.

My history is actually Switzerland's history.

Switzerland has a long history of migration.

The prosperity that we have in Switzerland

is actually the fruits of that history of centuries

of migration that has made this country what it is.

Now we're looking for the restaurant.

Do you remember me saying that every kitchen

in Switzerland has at last one Tamil in it?

Right, that's Mohan. Wannakam. Wannakam.

Just two weeks ago Mohan brought his ideas with him.

And what he cooked went down very well with people.

And that was Tamil food?

That was Tamil food.

High five! Very good!

Are you also of the opinion that people

without a Swiss passport should also be able to have a say?

Not only have their say, but also take part in decisions.

If somebody pays taxes,

then he should also be allowed

to decide what happens to those taxes.

The more people get involved in a democracy,

the easier it is to organize how we live together.

And in a multicultural society particularly,

how we live together and how our lives are organized is very,

very important.

That's why we all want co-determination

and joint decision-making rights.

Well, that's it from the Federal Parliament.

I wanted the people here to tell me

who is allowed to have a say here.

And you can have your say too.

You can use the comment field (below)

to tell me what you think of it all.

Thumbs up!

And maybe you might consider giving me a like.

I won't keep you.

It would be great if we could see each other again next Friday.

It's Tama Gotcha. That's what's up! Bye!

Hey, do you want to see something wacky?

I've found a sign showing where

the Federal Council sometimes hangs out.

It's mega fancy how they work here!

ロリィタさんにおすすめ!ワッフルアイロンを使った巻紙の作り方♡ Lolita hairstyles: How to use a waffle iron ❤︎ - Duration: 3:35.

Hello everyone watching Wunderwelt Channel,

this is Ujou Kazuki!

Today I'd like to do a dolly hairstyle!

We're going to use a waffle iron to give our hair waffle waves.

Actually I bought this waffle iron used,

but you can get them online for about 3000-5000JPY so please try them if you like.

Now let's waffle our hair!

First of all we need to straighten our fringe.

Part your fringe horizontally into two even sections.

Straighten it using your regular hair iron.

Turn on your waffle iron.

This one goes up to 210C, but if it's too hot you will damage your hair,

so 190C is enough.

While the waffle iron is heating up,

I'll curl my fringe just a little.

I'm using a 19mm diameter Vidal Sassoon curling iron.

Curl the ends of your fringe slightly inwards.

From the side it looks like this.

Here comes the main part.

Using a waffle iron

takes quite some time

but you get a wave that you can't do with a regular curling iron.

This is what it will look like.

Just like this.

If you take too much hair at once,

the heat won't reach all of it

and your hair won't curl properly

so make sure to do it little by little.

With this hairstyle it doesn't matter if your hair is long or short,

everyone will be able to get good results I think.

It will look very cute

with short hair as well.

Our waffle hair is done!

It's super fluffy.

From wherever you look at it, it's very voluminous.

Lately I really like half-up twin tails, so I'll try and see how they look with the wavy hair.

With the twin tails it looks even more voluminous now!

Please try this hairstyle for Halloween or any other occasion!

10 Signs You're an Outgoing Introvert - Duration: 6:47.

10 Signs You're an Outgoing Introvert

You took a quiz and found out you're an introvert.

This was life-changing.

Now you have a new way of understanding yourself and how you relate to the world.

You can't get enough of your new identity, so you read every listicle about introverts

you find.

Some articles describe you with frightening accuracy: you like spending time alone, prefer

calm environments, and think deeply.

You'd rather text than call.

Yet other articles don't resonate with you at all.

You don't sit home alone every weekend watching Netflix in your pajamas.

You have a lot of friends, and sometimes you like to party.

You start to wonder, Am I really an introvert?

Well, you're probably an introvert, but you're an outgoing one.

Introversion and extroversion are not black and white.

Think of these personality traits as being on a spectrum.

Some people fall closer to the extreme ends, making them either very introverted or very

extroverted.

Others are closer to the middle, which gives them qualities of both introversion and extroversion.

If you're an outgoing introvert, you're an introvert at heart, but sometimes you act

extroverted because your personality is more middle-of-the-road.

So, in order to understand more about an outgoing introvert characteristics, here are 10 signs

you might be.

If you find this information is helpful to you,

make sure to like this video and subscribe to this channel so you won't miss any of our

interesting updates in the future!

1.

Your energy level is closely tied to your environment.

You're sensitive to how your surroundings look, what kind of music is being played,

how many people are present, and the volume level of the room.

The ambiance of a bar or restaurant can either energize or drain you, depending on if the

place fits your preferences.

Likewise, a loud rock concert in a crowded stadium might be overwhelming but an up-close-and-personal

acoustic set at your favorite local music club relaxes you.

2.

You find people to be both intriguing and exhausting.

People watching?

Yes.

Meeting new people and hearing their life stories?

Fascinating.

Spending every weeknight hanging out with friends?

Not a chance.

As much as you enjoy people, you can only endure so much socializing before you need

downtime.

After a busy weekend or a long day at work, you feel the need to disappear and recharge

by being alone or with just one other person (a best friend, a trusted roommate or your

significant other).

3.

Certain people and interactions drain you while others recharge you.

You have a few friends who you could hang out with for practically forever.

It seems like you never run out of things to talk about.

Being with them is easy.

You actually feel better after spending time with them, not drained.

Other people eventually tire or bore you and you need to get away.

Being alone is better than settling for second-rate company.

4.

You can be charming but also deeply introspective and reflective.

You make small talk when it's expected of you because you know it can lead to deeper,

more authentic conversation.

People feel comfortable around you, and you easily get others talking and opening up about

themselves.

When you're out on a Saturday night, you make sure your friends have a good time.

However, most people don't realize how "in your head" you really are.

Although you appear easy-going and chatty, inside, your mind is always going.

5.

When you feel rested and recharged, you reach out to others.

You are often the one who gets all your friends together on the weekend.

Or maybe you organize the weekly after-work happy hour or throw parties at your house.

Playing the host allows you to socialize on your own terms.

You get to set the parameters, like what time the event starts, where it will happen, and

who is invited.

But when you feel drained, like a true introvert, you go silent and hibernate at home.

This is when the Netflix + pajamas thing makes sense.

6.

You need time to warm up in social situations.

But once you feel comfortable with someone, you have no trouble chatting.

Likewise, you won't spill your entire life story to someone within the first half hour

of meeting them, but you will reveal personal details when trust is built up.

The more someone gets to know you, the more your quirky personality (and your inner world,

which is the part of you that feels most authentic) comes out.

7.

It actually takes less energy to say what's on your mind than to make small talk.

Introverts like talking about ideas or connecting authentically.

Fake small talk bores you and drains your life force.

8.

You're selectively social.

It's hard to find people who you click with, so you have only a few close friends.

But you're okay with that.

You'd rather make your limited "people" energy count by investing it into relationships

that are truly fulfilling.

9.

You have no interest in trying to prove yourself in a crowd of strangers.

"Working the room" isn't your thing.

Nor do you feel the need to draw a lot of attention to yourself.

You're content hanging out at the edges of the party, talking to just one or two people.

10.

You're often confused for an extrovert.

Your friends and family don't buy that you're an introvert because you're just so social.

In fact, it may have taken a while for you to realize that you're an introvert because

you play the extrovert so well.

Now you find yourself constantly having to explain your introversion and how you get

your energy.

But people still don't get it.

Well, that's the 10 signs you're an outgoing introvert.

Keep in mind there's no wrong way to do introversion.

It's all about understanding your needs and honoring your own style,

even when that means being the life of the party one night then binge watching Netflix

alone the next night.

So, really cool information isn't it?

"This is My Story" Testimony by Nus Salomo - Duration: 2:23.

I want to create an artwork that represents Christianity in Indonesia.

But there's not much possibility for it.

It is caused by the division between artwork & Christianity

I became hopeless and continued to work as usual.

In 2015, I had a chance to create an artwork at a public place.

To appreciate the pilots,

I chose a concept of winged-superhero,

and it looked like an angel.

For me, the artwork could represent Christianity.

I was very glad and it is an honor for me.

The next 40 days,

They informed me that the artwork would be removed immediately.

According to the owner of the space,

the artwork caused controversy.

I felt discouraged at that time.

At the same time, my DATE (cell group) supported me a lot,

it encouraged me to control my reaction,

instead I learned to understand what God was saying through it.

God rose me up but why brought me down?

But as time passed by I didn't think He brought me down.

He actually rises me up higher.

My artwork and I received a wider exposure.

People come to know my artwork.

People from overseas, curators...

they asked and offered me to exhibit my artwork in Europe,

they were curious about the process and other things,

it keeps coming until now.

How?

How to rise someone up by bringing him down?

That is impossible,

but that is what happened.

Music lovers shun orchestra's new digs - Duration: 2:14.

First impressions: an unspectacular space.

A wooden box integrated into a factory.

But the building with its 100 tonnes of spruce timber is elaborate.

Ceiling microphones record reverberation.

A technician adjusts the reverberation time on his mobile phone.

In the background, expensive acoustic processors crunch numbers.

The result: listeners perceive the reverberation as natural.

The Tonhalle's long-standing principal conductor is holding

a course for young conductors.

David Zinman's verdict on the Tonhalle's acoustics:

The acoustics are pretty good. It has a pleasant atmosphere.

It's fun working on the stage.

Good sound costs money – almost CHF 10 million has been invested.

On the other hand, there are 300 fewer seats.

Added to this, one in five have cancelled their subscriptions.

At Tonhalle AG they are unperturbed:

I'm not at all concerned.

We understand that some people haven't come with us.

They're quite simply old, and say,

"I've heard it all now, this classical music."

On the other hand, there's huge potential at this new location,

which we can hopefully exploit.

How is the regular audience reacting to exile in the Maag Hall?

Initial impressions:

I'm a creature of habit by nature.

I'm an oldie who's firmly rooted in the Tonhalle.

I see it like this: anyone who likes music will come.

And anyone who's fussy won't have renewed their subscription.

But I think it's a pity to do that.

It might attract a younger audience.

The mix of classic and industrial is cool.

It will be a couple of months before it's clear

whether initial scepticism gives way to enthusiasm –

for the Tonhalle Maag.
