Breast Lift-Minimize the Scar After Breast Lift-Dr.Cortes - Duration: 6:05.

Hi, this is Dr. Hourglass, and welcome to another video in our channel Wonder Breasts.

Today we are going to discuss: Can I minimize the scar after a breast lift?

In this channel we discuss everything related to breast surgery.

Welcome back!

To be able to perform the breast lift procedure, multiple incisions might be required.

One goes from the edge of the areola towards the inframammary fold, another in the inframammary fold,

and one more can be placed around the areola.

The placement and number of the incisions depend on the level of breast ptosis to be corrected.

This means that the higher the amount of skin to be removed,

the larger and more numerous the incisions will be.

The scars left after the breast lift are one thing that can be a turn off for the patient.

Of course, the results are impressive in terms of appearance, but scarring is unavoidable.

This is the reason why many patients ask even from the pre-operative consultation what they can do

to promote fast healing and to minimize the scar after the breast lift.

The scar management after breast lift is done in two stages.

The first stage starts immediately after the surgery when we apply special dressings on the surgical wound.

These dressings are important to get a fast healing and reduce the risk of infection.

You will be required to come back within the first two weeks post-operatively for a consultation

with the surgeon, and during this time he will evaluate the surgical incisions again.

The second stage begins after two weeks from the surgery.

Starting now you can massage the scars, in 4 weeks apply silicone sheeting, creams and gels,

depending on the evolution of the scars.

Six weeks after the procedure is performed, you need to see the doctor again to assess

how the healing of the scars is going.

The post-operative consultations are important because it allows the surgeon to evaluate

the scar cicatrization process and he can recommend additional treatments if necessary

to prevent bad scarring.

To minimize the scars after the breast lift, you should avoid sun exposure on the chest level

for at least six months post-operatively and also avoid smoking.

In this video, we discussed: Can I minimize the scar after a breast lift?

Next week we will discuss: Does scarring ever fade after a breast lift?

School Doesn't Play National Anthem, Players Take Matters Into Own Hands | Top Stories Today - Duration: 2:04.

When NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick chose to sit during the national anthem while in

uniform, he stood out from the rest of the standing crowd, and not in a good way, according

to many people who were outraged at what they viewed as a clearly public display of disrespect.

A freshman football team in Flint Township had just the opposite experience and has been

applauded for their decision to go above and beyond in order to take a literal stand against

a decision not to play the national anthem before the game.

When the Lapeer Lightning's freshman football team was told by the host team announcer that

the national anthem would not be played before their game, they a bold stand on the sidelines

and began to sing, despite there being no music.

Eddie L. Kindle, Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools Superintendent, said, "Like most

schools in the state of Michigan, we choose to play the national anthem prior to the highest

level of competition."

Therefore, the national anthem was planned to be played prior to the junior varsity game

later that evening.

Kindle made a point to explain that this common decision in many communities was in no way

any form of protesting and that they will never refuse to play the national anthem.

Once they were informed that there would be no music and no national anthem before kickoff,

they decided to sing anyway.

Lapeer head coach Bryan Sahr said his team thought there might have been a problem with

the sound system.

"We had all lined up on the sideline like we usually do for the national anthem,"

Sahr said.

Coach Sahr also said, "I've been with most of these players for three years now."

"They're just an awesome group of kids.

It makes me incredibly emotional and I don't usually get emotional."

What do you think of the Lapeer Lightning freshman football team's decision to stand

and sing the national anthem before kickoff?

WEIRD HOMELESS PEOPLE | Dolan True Stories - Duration: 7:26.

• From peeing in public to smoking a newspaper, the Planet Dolan crew re-enact some of the

best true stories from our subreddit about our weirdest encounters with homeless people.

I'm Danger Dolan – or – Zaraganba and today I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was submitted by Catloversodafreak Cidius

Cid was downtown when he wanted some donuts.

He saw a Dunkin Donuts across the street, but as he tried to cross a homeless man came

up to him and asked for change.

Cid said no and tried to walk but was stopped again – in the middle of the street and

stopping traffic – by the man.

He asked again, but Cid got angry and told him no.

He then crossed the street and went to the Dunkin Donuts.

When he came out, the man went up to him and said, "Hey, can I have a donut?"

Cid said, "No means no."

The man flapped his arms up and down, stomped his feet and started spitting on the ground.

Cid just looked at him as he boarded a bus to go home.

Number 9 was submitted by sarakurashi Ramona

One time, Ramona was leaving a reptile convention when she saw a homeless man yelling at the

guard near the entrance.

He yelled at the guard to let him in or he would have Satan chew his head off like tobacco.

Ramona quickly ran to her car.

Then, just out of the corner of her eye, she saw the hobo chasing after her.

He grabbed her arm, took the baby kingsnake she'd bought, and started to run.

Luckily, the security guard caught him and returned the snake to her.

They arrested him for assault, theft and possession of illegal drugs.

Before he was shoved in the back of the police car, he started yelling things like, "Satan

will kill you all!" and "The snake!

The snake!

He can see through the eyes of the snake!"

Number 8 was submitted by Killstroke117 SaltySquid

SaltySquid was walking down the street with his bike and saw a homeless man.

Every day for the next week, the man stared at him as he walked by on that street.

One day, he saw the man in an alley.

He felt bad for the man and wanted to give him money.

He stepped into the alley and saw him chanting something as a goat's head sat on a table.

SaltySquid made sure to never walk past that alley again.

Number 7 was submitted by BeheldMender478 GhostToast

When GhostToast was in 8th grade, he and his mom got some ice cream from Dairy Queen.

Because it was a busy day, all the tables were taken.

So they walked a few blocks down the road to an empty bench.

Just as they sat down, an old homeless guy with a bottle wrapped in a paper bag came

up from behind them.

He laughed and sat down next to GhostToast.

The man looked at him, then his mom, and then GhostToast again and said, "Well boy, you

feeling the music yet?"

He took a big gulp from the bottle, mumbled some incomprehensible gibberish, and began

to run down the street on all fours laughing and barking like a dog.

GhostToast and his mom were so shocked that they didn't notice that their ice cream had

melted.

Number 6 was submitted by Huntergirl928 Doopie

Doopie was working the drive thru at a Goodwill store, helping a customer with his donations

when a homeless guy came up to them.

He asked, "You got any SOCKS?"

Doopie answered, "You can get some socks inside for a really cheap price."

But he wouldn't go.

He said, "But I want free socks."

Suddenly, he told her how beautiful she was and how her hair seemed smooth to the touch.

Then he came up with, "You guys wanna smell my feet?

They really stink."

Doopie was about to get her manager when he started to ask for money.

The customer instead grabbed his wallet and pulled out a five.

The homeless man saw the twenty in there and tried to reach for it, but Doopie got in-between

them and said, "Sir, you need to leave or else I'll get my manager."

The guy just looked at her for a moment, took the money the customer gave him, and left.

The homeless guy didn't go inside to get socks… he walked a few yards away to some woman who

sold him a beer!

Number 5 was submitted by FeralRavage Mimi

A long time ago, when Mimi was on the bus to go home, a tipsy homeless man stumbled

onto the bus.

He walked very clumsily and had a crooked grimace on his face.

He constantly went from seat to seat, sitting next to people.

At one point he even leaned in close to a lady's face like he was about to kiss her.

Everyone, including Mimi, sat in shock and silence.

Eventually he sat across from Mimi and started arguing and yelling at cars passing by, like

he was delusional.

As she was about to leave the bus, Mimi glanced back to see him stroke and lick the bus pole.

He said to everyone, "Isn't she beautiful!?"

Number 4 was submitted by NathanDrakeula Legna

On Legna's 21st birthday, he went to a store with his mom and uncle went to pick up a cake.

As his uncle was going through the self-checkout, Legna suddenly caught the strong scent of

pee.

He looked behind him without making it too obvious, and saw a homeless guy.

The guy came up behind him and slowly put his hands near Legna's head.

Then he jittered a bit, and did a gesture like he was squeezing Legna's head before

slowly pulling his hands away.

Legna wasn't sure what to do so he held in his tears and asked his uncle to leave.

Number 3 was submitted by Cloud_009 Hellbent

One Friday night, when Hellbent was in college, he and 5 of his friends took a train to go

to a party.

After a couple of minutes, the train stopped on the tracks saying there was a delay.

Right after the announcement, a homeless man sitting on the train laughed like a madman.

He then pulled out what looked like a newspaper and started smoking it.

The car started to smell like a combination of burned plastic, meat, and something else.

The man then started yelling at his own reflection, saying he wanted to rape and fuck up everyone

on the train.

Once the train started up again, Hellbent and his friends got off at the next stop.

Last thing he saw was the guy still laughing maniacally, smoking his makeshift joint, blowing

the smoke at the glass and then licking it.

Number 2 was submitted by DiyGirl56 Melissa

Melissa was walking by a Starbucks when she saw a crazy homeless man.

He was acting as though he had a dog and was holding it by the leash.

He bent down to pet his invisible dog and gave it an invisible treat.

It was really weird for Melissa to see… but then.

The man walked to a trash can in front of Starbucks, put his hand in the trash, grabbed

a cup and started drinking from it!

The 10 Worst And 10 Best Stephen King Movies - Duration: 13:13.

Stephen King's books have been adapted to film or television over 100 times, making

him the all-time "King" of adaptations from a living author's work.

But while some adaptations of his works rank among the most beloved films of all time,

others are hardly worth remembering at all.

To help you parse out the good from the bad, here's a list of the 10 worst and 10 best

Stephen King adaptations so far, not in any particular order, but starting with the ones

that probably don't deserve your time.

Cell

Nine years after appearing together in 1408 — which we'll be talking about much later

— John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson reunited for Cell.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a reunion really worth having.

The plot centers on Clay Riddell, a man who's determined to reunite with his son after a

malevolent electronic signal turns cell phone users into mindless killers.

Along the way, he teams up with train driver Tom McCourt in order to better their chances

of survival.

While the novel was generally well-received for it's technophobic take on the zombie trope,

the movie suffered a far less positive fate.

It stunk.

Graveyard Shift

1990's Graveyard Shift still stands as one of the worst King adaptations.

In a Maine textile mill where a drifter has taken a job, several overnight employees have

died, and the egomaniacal foreman sends the drifter — and others — down into the basement

to investigate.

King's short story didn't translate well to the screen.

The saving grace of the film is a crazy exterminator played by Brad…

"This place is infested."

"That might be the understatement of the year."

...but even that's not enough to save this movie.

Thinner

Despite having excellent source material, Tom Holland's 1990 adaptation of Thinner just

couldn't pull it off.

When an obese and morally bankrupt lawyer Billy Halleck accidentally runs over and kills

a gypsy woman, he uses his court connections to get off the hook.

The woman's elderly father takes revenge by placing a curse upon Halleck, one which soon

has him uncontrollably losing weight to the point of emaciation.

The premise is definitely scary, but the effect falls flat on the big screen — especially

when we're confronted with the actor in a terribly fake latex fat suit that only gets

slightly less hilarious as he sheds the pounds.

Maximum Overdrive

Stephen King himself stepped behind the lens for the 1986 adaptation of his own Maximum

Overdrive.

"It was my first picture as a director, and you know something?

I sort of enjoyed it!"

Others, however, did not.

The movie puts Earth in the tail of a comet, after which once-inert machines suddenly come

to life and go on a murderous rampage against humans.

"Look out!"

[Screaming]

At a truck stop, a bland protagonist played by Emilio Estevez and an odd assortment of

other unremarkable characters settle in to wait out the living trucks that have them

pinned down inside.

While Maximum Overdrive does have a killer soundtrack from AC/DC and a few neat shots

peppered throughout, the movie is still a maximum dud.

Needful Things

Although the novel Needful Things is a favorite among King fans, the 1993 film adaptation

of the story might leave audiences ready to sell their own souls to the Devil just to

get it over with.

Set in Castle Rock, Maine, Needful Things follows a character named Leland Gaunt opening

an antiques store called — you guessed it — Needful Things.

Many of the town's residents soon find their hearts' desires fulfilled by the store's items

— some of which have a distinctly supernatural bent.

But Gaunt's prices are nearly too good to be true.

Rather than heaps of cash, Gaunt just wants the townspeople to play pranks on eachother

… but those small misdeeds end up igniting some intense rivalries, and things turn violent

very quickly.

"We're having fun now."

If that sounds like an intriguing story, that's because it is.

King's written version of Needful Things is certainly worthy of your time.

But the movie's failure to translate the character development of the many players involved renders

this movie a total wash.

At least we got a pretty great Rick and Morty episode out of it:

"A typewriter that generates best-selling murder mysteries, and then makes the murders

happen in real life?

Woooooo!"

"Be quiet."

The Mangler

Tobe Hooper's 1994 adaptation of King's short story The Mangler somehow spawned two sequels,

but the original was not actually very good.

The movie stars Freddie Kreuger actor Robert Englund as sinister laundry-service owner

whose machine has been possessed by a demon that's been activated by the presence of blood...and

over-the-counter antacids.

Yes, really.

The original short story was pretty threadbare to begin with, but the movie completely ignored

the opportunity to make a campy pic that pokes fun at itself.

Instead, we're left with a ridiculous and gory flick that goes on way too long and takes

itself much too seriously.

Riding the Bullet

When King published his 2000 novella Riding the Bullet, it was generally well-received

by critics and made history as the first mass-distributed e-book.

The story follows Alan Parker, a neurotic and depressed college student whose obsession

with worst-case scenarios nearly drives him to suicide.

After receiving news that his mother has had a stroke, Parker decides to hitchhike so he

can reach her before she passes.

But instead of culminating in an exciting thrill ride, the movie renders the journey

completely boring.

Add this to your skip list.

Dreamcatcher

Even Stephen King didn't completely love his 2001 novel Dreamcatcher, but the resulting

movie was even worse.

The film follows four lifelong friends — who have psychic powers, of course — on a winter

hunting trip to upstate Maine.

They soon find themselves caught between invading aliens and the U.S. military forces trying

to contain them.

Thomas Jane, Damian Lewis, Timothy Olyphant, and Jason Lee do fine work as the friends,

but Morgan Freeman falls flat as an overzealous commander with ridiculously distracting eyebrows.

What results is an overly long, free-associating mess of a movie that could have been much

better if it'd just stuck to one tone.

The Lawnmower Man

If you're a fan of this short story from King's 1978 collection Night Shift, don't be fooled

by Brett Leonard's 1992 film The Lawnmower Man — it's an adaptation in name only.

Other than the title and a single scene, the movie bears little resemblance to the source

material.

Instead of a nutty little tale about a lawn mowing service gone horribly wrong, the film

steals from the short story Flowers for Algernon and Mary Shelly's Frankenstein for its mish-mashed

plot.

The movie centers on a doctor who chooses a mentally impaired greenskeeper to be the

subject of his experiments in intelligence-boosting via virtual reality and a drug cocktail.

Follow King's lead on this one, and give the lousy story of The Lawnmower Man a hard pass.

The Night Flier

The Night Flier stays fairly true to King's original short story, but that doesn't mean

that this 1997 adaptation is actually a good movie.

Miguel Ferrer plays tabloid reporter Richard Dees, who attempts to hunt down a serial killer

who uses a small aircraft to travel from town to town — leaving a grisly trail of victims

in his wake.

Dees soon finds that this is no ordinary criminal, and must also deal with a competing reporter

who's trying her hardest to steal his scoop.

While the short story's version of Dees was an unlikeable cynic who finds his worldview

shaken, the movie's script and Ferrer's flat performance makes Dees a complete jerk with

no redeeming qualities.

If you decide to watch The Night Flier, you'll probably find yourself rooting for the bad

guys to win before it's all said and done.

Now that we've gotten through the shlock, here are the best Stephen King adaptations

so far.

Carrie

For over 40 years, Brian De Palma's 1976 adaptation of Carrie has remained a classic.

Released just two years after the book's publication, Carrie was the first adaptation of a Stephen

King work, and it's still arguably the best.

Featuring Sissy Spacek in the title role, this supernatural tale sets the hook of suspense

and reels in the viewer without remorse.

Spacek is at turns ethereal and terrifying as Carrie, and Piper Laurie delivers a commanding

performance as her oppressive mother Margaret.

Even though it's a little dated today, the original vision of Carrie still holds up as

a must-watch Stephen King movie.

Stand By Me

Unlike many King adaptations, Stand By Me is more coming-of-age drama than horror.

Based on King's semi-autobiographical short story The Body, it follows four adolescent

boys in a small Oregon town who embark on a journey to find the corpse of a missing

boy.

Thanks to the off-screen friendship forged by actors Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Jerry

O'Connell, and Corey Feldman, the authenticity of the characters' connection was incredibly

real.

Stand By Me remains a classic today, and even those who don't like horror films can enjoy

this Stephen King story.

The Dead Zone

David Cronenberg's 1983 adaptation of Stephen King's The Dead Zone remains a more accessible

movie than King's more horrific works.

The story focuses on Johnny Smith, a man who wakes up from a coma to discover he has unexplained

psychic powers, and finds himself on a collision course with destiny during a pivotal election.

It's a masterpiece of thrilling and suspenseful storytelling that strings viewers along before

the final climactic scene.

The Shawshank Redemption

Although it registered very little impact in theaters upon its release, director Frank

Darabont's 1994 prison drama The Shawshank Redemption has gone on to become one of the

best-loved films of the last 30 years.

The movie tells the story of two prisoners serving life sentences at the Shawshank State

Penitentiary, who become dear friends despite their difficult circumstances.

Starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman in the lead roles, The Shawshank Redemption is

a gritty tale with a lot of heart and plot points that transcend the generations.

The Shining

"All work and no play" might make Jack a dull boy, but The Shining most certainly isn't

dull.

Stanley Kubrick's 1980 version of The Shining still stands as one of the most beloved King

adaptations, even if the author didn't care for it himself.

The movie follows writer Jack Torrance, his wife Wendy, and their young son Danny as they

travel to Colorado to become the winter caretakers of the opulent — and haunted — Overlook

Hotel.

Danny's psychic abilities allow him to see the terrifying past of the Overlook, and his

troubled father's inner demons are exploited by the spirits still haunting the hotel.

The tale deviates significantly from the source material, in both characterization and storyline.

Nevertheless, The Shining continues to be a favorite among horror lovers.

Misery

A psychological thriller directed by Rob Reiner about fan obsession gone horribly wrong, 1990's

Misery was a critical and commercial success that launched Kathy Bates' career — and

for good reason.

The plot follows romance author Paul Sheldon as he wakes up from a car accident to find

himself in the care of a superfan named Annie Wilkes.

"You and I were meant to be together forever."

When Wilkes learns that Sheldon has killed off her favorite character in his latest novel,

things start to get grim, and there are some scenes of torment that won't soon be forgotten

or forgiven by fans of this film.

The Green Mile

Director Frank Darabont returned to the King library for another prison drama with 1999's

The Green Mile, starring Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan.

This flashback film is told from the perspective of Paul Edgecomb, who recounts supernatural

events he experienced as a corrections officer after a very special prisoner arrived on death

row at the Cold Mountain Penitentiary.

It's a soulful and thoughtful movie which will leave most viewers profoundly affected

after the credits roll.

Dolores Claiborne

Kathy Bates returned to the world of Stephen King when she appeared in the 1995 psychological

thriller Dolores Claiborne, based on the novel of the same name and directed by Taylor Hackford.

The film follows the tale of a domestic servant who's accused of murdering her elderly employer.

It's a harrowing and suspenseful tale that will keep audiences guessing until the end.

1408

In the 2007 psychological horror film 1408, John Cusack does what he does best: he plays

a cynic with love problems.

Starring as Mike Enslin, a skeptical author who decides to check into a notoriously haunted

hotel room in order to investigate it, he's joined by Samuel L. Jackson as hotel manager

Gerald Olin.

What follows is a tense and terrifying descent into Enslin's psyche.

Although it's definitely not on the level of The Shining, 1408 is still a satisfying

and scary haunted hotel effort that manages to generate genuine thrills without relying

on bucketfuls of gore.

It

The feature film debut of It smashed all sorts of records on its opening weekend and for

good reason: it's a very decent adaptation of one of King's most prized books.

The 1990 TV mini-series successfully translated the scares of the novel as well, but its budgeted

special effects and bloated acting moments have kept that version from aging well in

the years since.

The new version of It, however, is much sharper and more intense, and also presents the heart

and wit of the novel's characters.

Scary clowns might be a cultural phenomenon that makes Pennywise a timely terror, but

count on this one to be more than just a flash-in-the-pan favorite.

this builder up she's amazing right see I always gotta

go take care of Michelle come on having fun

she's over there like Bryan stop it stop it let's watch make me blush now yes yes

Jennifer says hey Carol hey Jennifer welcome hey Kathy Shauna

Brown says Brian's all over my newsfeed that's a good thing right right I think

that's a great it's a great segue into talking about branding right okay who is

that magician shared that Shauna I think it was Shauna

yeah that's Brandi that's branding at its finest right well I'm excited to be

here again thanks guys so much for the invitation Michelle grateful for you

let's talk about some branding shall we and why why would she be branding

ourselves rather than maybe our products and our company on social media what are

the good things one of the bad things and so if you by chance are watching

this broadcast and don't have a pen and paper maybe I suggest you grab one we're

gonna dive into some some great tips here now I got I got it I got I'll give

you a heads up Michelle I'm gonna be talking about some really cool things

here but I'm just I'm just getting you ready you ready you ready for this I'm

gonna be I'm gonna be I'm gonna be kickin it to you every now and again

because I'd love to hear your feedback of course as always because you're doing

incredible things your team is growing each and every month and we're excited

about all you're doing but I also love to hear your feedback as well sound good

that's awesome it's been I'll tell you what I'm be honest with you I love my

coffee just like you love your coffee every morning I mean it's crazy and I'll

tell you what the last three or four nights I typically don't do this but

have just been crazy we've done a ton of videos of course crazy stuff happening

but I've literally in the evenings brewed another pot of coffee just just

to keep going so we're on the same page sister we're on the same page right on

so let's talk about why and how to brand yourself let's let's first talk about

the why why is branding yourself on social media crucial if you're a network

marketer well here's the deal is that most in our profession who are using

social media are not branding themselves unfortunately it's not their fault I

just believe that maybe a lack of education out there in

our profession as a whole that's why we do what we do but it's so very important

to understand this so we're gonna have we're gonna have some conversation here

me and in the live viewers here I'm gonna be asking for your participation

here in just a moment so imagine this imagine this I would assume there's

maybe what a thousand five thousand twenty thousand fifty hundred maybe five

hundred thousand distributors in your respected companies I want you to think

about this for a moment okay if let's just say let's just say 50% of those

people maybe up to 80% of those distributors are actually on Facebook

and the majority of them are out there posting about products their company

join my team buy my products check out my sales now think of it like this do

all of those distributors have something in common yes they are all blending in

together they all look the same it's just another infomercial it's just

another buy my products join my team so here's the deal all those folks are

going this way they're going this way they're going this way they're going

this way there's really nothing that differentiates them on social media then

you have those who are learning marketing they're learning branding and

they're seeing the importance of doing this in a different manner and they're

in their branding themselves they're separating themselves from the pack

which makes them stand out on social media for my question for all of our

viewers is would you rather you have a choice would you rather blend in with

the other thousand ten thousand hundred thousand distributors in your company

would you rather blend in with all the noise and chaos on social media or would

you rather stand out blend in or stand out Michelle what what's what's your

take on that blend in Oersted I'm just curious

Steve yes yes yes absolutely different Amen sister Amen in in this this really

this really sums up those who have long term success using social media and

those who maybe have a quick you know exciting first or second month and then

it all falls apart you're like wait a minute what happened

I thought this was supposed to keep going well unfortunately we understand

that the blending in with everybody else doesn't matter what your product is

doesn't matter which company you're in right there all phenomenal products

across our entire profession I'll tell you a little secret all the compensation

plans are roughly the same even though it seems like this one's a little better

than that one they're all roughly the same right okay it comes down to you you

as the individual you're the it factor right understanding that you hold the

key to your own success on social media so when we choose because it's a choice

to stand out versus blend in the opportunity for us to have success using

social media highly highly increases can I get an amen in the comments section if

this is making some sense for my people here absolutely absolutely so that is

that's the short version I guess on why we should be branding ourselves on

social media now let's talk a little bit about the how and in how you guys can

best understand this let me ask you first real quick is this been helpful

for you if it has typed in number one in the comment section right now I'd love

to love to get your feedback see how we're doing so far it's been helpful

I see the thumbs up marts yes it has across the board

hey Kelly Carol fantastic stephanie says Amen what's up Rockstar prinkle so I'm

gonna I'm gonna paint a picture for everyone is that cool I mean I used to

be a good drawer Michelle back back in the days you know my wife is always

saying well Brian was such a good drawer and this and that but III don't agree

but it's all good I'm gonna take credit but but but I'm gonna paint the audience

a picture here right let's have some fun so I want you all to think about this

scenario that I'm about to share okay when it comes to social media everything

that we do has our name attached to it think about this think about this every

time Michelle goes and leaves a comment on say one of my posts what does it say

Michelle Humes just commented on this post or if she goes in comments on

Gwen's post or Shauna's posts right it says right Shauna gets a notification

and hey Michelle Humes just commented on your post okay case in point that's

example number one example number two when Michelle is maybe in a group or

something like that and she goes to make a post in a group what does it say

Michelle Humes just posted in this group right pretty cool one more example you

ready for this one just like right now about what four or five minutes ago

Michelle went live all of those who are you know on her live notifications list

got a little Facebook notification and what did it say

it said hey Michelle Humes is now live okay I want you to think about this for

one moment when we start thinking about branding and and and how our name ties

in to everything we do you see as network marketers every action that we

take on social media our name is attached to it whether it's a comment

whether it's a post whether it's a Facebook live well maybe it right that's

the good stuff what about the bad stuff right every time we're spamming our

walls every time we're sending cold messages trying to pitch people are our

business you know hey this two-for-one flash sale every other Friday it's just

crazy I want you to understand that every single thing we do good or bad has

your name attached to it and everything that revolves around your name is now

shaping your brand okay so in the eyes of your audience right now I want you to

ask yourself all of our viewers ask yourself this very specific question is

what is the perception of me in the eyes of my friends what is the perception of

me in the eyes of my followers is it someone who's spammy someone who's

salesy someone who's trying to get someone to join their team or are we

being looked at as someone who's helpful someone who's funny someone who's

resourceful someone's someone who's helpful someone who provides values

someone who inspires me right Michelle what which person would you rather

connect to and talk to or follow someone who tries to sell you products and get

you to join their business everyday or someone who you wake up and you're like

man I can't wait to see so-and-so's post today or video because what they share

inspires me yeah I you know that thing that comes every day you get on this day

it shows you like flashbacks of stuff right and I actually joined direct sales

in the end of 2015 and for the first two years or so of my business career I was

that spammer I was the one doing that I was the one doing all that so every

single day what do I get I see a flashback of how I used to be and I'm

like give me a bucket haha it's hurt off I'm like yeah I'm not

looking at it oh yeah it has one like one comment oh look at this post two

likes no comments oh look at this one I'm like uh yeah now I know why but and

I'm not perfect by any means I mean I'm still learning I'm always going to be

learning I still have a lot to learn a lot to grow and I'm owning up to that

right now I'm not perfect and to be honest with you I haven't recruited

anybody personally myself in the last three months because I don't approach

people and all join my team but I patiently wait for people to come to me

and have that conversation and but my team is growing you know girls are you

know recruiting and my team is phenomenal they're great but we I just

don't I don't put things on my wall that that screen direct sales if that makes

sense I just don't do that and it's for sure

awesome well first and foremost I appreciate you being vulnerable Michelle

it really speaks to your character and just like just being real raw

transparent authentic I want you to know that that all of us

are included in that conversation me included we've all been in that

situation we've all we've all gone out there spammed our newsfeed we've all

gone out there maybe send a few cold messages we've all got out there and

posted post with our replicated website links me included we're all included in

this conversation I don't think there's one person on here who can honestly say

that they've never done anything like that like because we've all done it but

the coolest part about this whole thing is that we we are all continuing to

learn we're all continuing to grow and what's the coolest part about this whole

thing for me is that is that we we all have a decision we all have the

opportunity to decide how we're going to work our business right okay what feels

right what feels the best what you know what's not going to come across as

spammy doesn't mean we're not gonna work any any left you know any any how do i

phrase this any harder or or not work as hard on our business that doesn't mean

that all that means is you know what we've got a we've got a little different

strategy here I'm not gonna I'm not gonna put a dollar sign on people's

heads and look to them as just another recruit I'm not going to put a dollar

sign on someone's head just so I can make rank and then go say yeah look at

me like like do we want those things to happen we want you to achieve success we

want you to hit the next rank we want you to get that next bonus we want your

team to duplicate we want of course we do of course we do but you know what we

have a long-term vision for that happening now when I say long-term don't

get mistaken viewers don't get mistaken long-term doesn't mean this needs to

take five ten years that's not what we're talking about we're talking like

six 12 18 24 months okay this doesn't need to take a long

time it all comes down to each and every person's level of commitment to go out

there and in and learn and then implement and then learn and then

implement some more and make some and make some mistakes learn from those and

go implement some more like that's what this whole process is all about

right okay again I know first I'm the first to say like you know a lot of

folks out there might smite see me and they're like well coach fryer you're

like you get all these viewers on your videos and you get all these likes and

comments on your post guess what I got some news for you I still have posts

that flop no likes no comments guess what I go back to the drawing board okay

that didn't work I still have facebook lives that I talked about still to this

day I've done I think over a thousand or 1500 of them now somewhere in there but

I still have facebook lives that flop you know what I'm saying do I say I do I

say this do I say well I guess to heck with Facebook lives I guess they just

don't work of course not do I delete it of course not I look at it I'm like okay

how can I learn from that right it is and again this all goes back into the

branding conversation but you know the less that we can sit there and kick

ourselves right Kate and the more we can just be open to continue to learning but

most importantly be committed to implementing be committed to implement

okay branding yourself is going to take some time and you know I believe that

this is the long-term plan and approach to grow a meaningful and sustainable

network marketing to direct sales business again by no means by branding

yourself is it going to take forever we're just saying that this is the long

term strategy to do so you're picking up what I'm putting down Michelle is this

I've been preaching a little bit here right coach fryer rants every once in a

while I think you're used to those by now what what would you say what would

you say Michelle to to those tuning in here who are maybe in direct sales

network marketing all different companies and they're trying to figure

this out like you know well I you know I was told that I was supposed to post

five times a day about my business and you know I don't know about this whole

branding myself thing and creating curiosity and interest around my

products and business versus just telling everybody what it is love for

you to maybe speak to those folks on here who are who would just like some

clarity on that what what's your thoughts on that well I can first I can

relate to wondering about that because I used to feel the same way I used to have

those thoughts and questions so I understand that my here

what I tell my team that comes to me asking me what branding is what I think

ranting is and for the longest time I didn't understand it and my simplest

version and so trying to get into all kinds of details is to just think of

yourself the things that you enjoy and you love that have to do with you and

that's your brand you are your brand and you want to share with your network

those things that you love so that you attract the same people that love the

same things and not to be fake not to be something that you're not no don't try

to be like her because she's up here because that's her that's her

personality that's her way of being you want to be yourself you want to be

authentically you and and for the longest time I didn't understand that

and I always tried to do what so-and-so did because it was a great post and it

got so much interaction I'm gonna go do what this one did because that was a

great post and wow look at all the interaction on there and just basically

it was a big AHA my opening moment for me when I finally you know when I

learned even before joining you Brian my sponsor Chelsea actually had a really

great reading video and that's how she described it was to be you figure out

the five strongest points about yourself and you just be you yes absolutely goes

down to is to sharing you your life the things you love that's that's all I can

wait the easiest way to explain this for sure for sure yeah it's absolutely right

and well while we're talking about branding I think that what is the date

today September 30th 2017 that the day of this video branding in my own opinion

has never been easier to do and I'm gonna tell you guys what I believe is

the easiest simplest fastest most efficient way to do that to not only

brand yourself but to start growing a business recruiting more you

know reps and customers into your business using social media and I think

the fastest most efficient way to build your name to build your brand on

Facebook today is exactly what we are doing right here right now

Facebook lives Facebook lives there are some of you out there right now who are

saying oh my goodness coach fryer don't you dare talk about Facebook lies I

ain't ever doing one of those big things don't you dare try to talk me into doing

Facebook lives and I that was Michelle right not too long ago and I'm sitting

here on the other side saying do you want to continue to just sit there and

spin the same plate over and over and over and over because here's what I know

to be true mr. Mark Zuckerberg shot me a text message last week now actually he

did it that's a fit but I thought it would be kind of funny right now but

Mark Zuckerberg literally he didn't text me but he didn't say this he did say

this he said that by the year the year's end of 2020 so just a couple of years

from now that the Facebook is going to be a 90 percent video platform I want

you to think about this for a moment okay

I want you to think about it as a viewer for a moment okay so let's talk about it

as a viewer so you're scrolling your Facebook newsfeed 9 out of 10 posts

our videos think about this ok well that's that's that's the viewer

perspective ok that's what you're going to see in a couple of years now as an

entrepreneur as a network marketer as a direct sales consultant wanting to grow

of business using social media I want you to understand that there's one word

that comes to mind right now for me and that is opportunity do you not see an

opportunity and how ahead of the curve you are right here right now today to

dive into live videos who cares if you're terrible we are all terrible at

first we each are getting better every single time if you wait if you wait

until the perfect time guess what you've missed your opportunity

don't don't don't be afraid to be vulnerable don't be afraid to be nervous

don't be afraid to be to have a bad hair day

don't be afraid to to stumble over your words I still do all those things and

you know what I say screw it I'm gonna do it anyways yeah

it's absolutely powerful and so as Network marketers if you could you know

take away one huge nugget from this video is that I need to start doing

lives I don't care what the deal is I don't care the outcome I just know that

I need to do them would you agree Michelle we're on the

same page yes yes 100% 1000% if there is a thousand percent yes do a lot do a bad

life it's ok actually we encourage you to do a bad life no I'm just kidding no

we don't get money somewhere yeah absolutely you know I always tell the

story on you know I've done tons of lives now to this point but I always

shared it like my first two to three months I was doing lives a couple years

ago and they first came out and I was literally like two maybe three live

viewers okay I was topping out around you know 20 30 40 views okay I had no

clue what I was doing I was like I was I was trying to be all professional and

like I hardly moved and it probably looked like I had a bunch of plastic

surgery because my face didn't move I was like frozen solid like talking to

the camera like like this like absolutely crazy right Michelle gets a

laugh at it right but but but you know what I I knew they were bad yeah I've

seen I've seen you literally grow from 13 months now because I started

following you beginning of August and when I started watching you then you

only had about 200-300 viewers two or three shares so I've seen tremendous

growth for you in the last 13 months so I know that the Facebook live is it

Facebook Facebook lives work and and rather than rather than maybe our

viewers say oh my gosh I could never do that or whatever just understand that

each and every one of us has the opportunity to do the exact same thing

look look to that as what Michelle just shared look to that as inspiration look

to that it's like oh oh em gee that's what's possible to where now we get

thousands and thousands and thousands of live viewers we get on average I mean

gosh last week think about just think about this for one moment the power of

live video and we're gonna talk how network marketers specifically can can

leverage Facebook lives here in just a moment but think about this for just a

Michelle said just 1314 months ago she tuned in a couple of Brian's videos and

he had like a couple hundred views tops and two or three shares think think

about this for just a moment we did four videos last week Sunday Monday Tuesday

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday I believe and each one of those videos

check this out each one of those videos had a minimum of four thousand views and

each one of those videos had a minimum of 100 plus shares think about that for

just a moment let this sink in let's see if one share right if Michelle let's

just say for example has 500 friends and Michelle came on and shared my video I'm

now being exposed to potentially 500 people see how that works

so think about that for just a moment think about it for a moment in the power

so now getting for example for the sake of example purposes over a hundred

shares now for one video how many people could you now potentially be exposed to

more friends more followers more eyeballs on you your name your brand

more conversations more opportunities to share your products service or

opportunity and so with that being said it was it was about six six and a half

months ago my good buddy Billy funk and I who is an incredible leader in his

respected company for those who don't know Billy that's all good I'll share a

little bit about him he's an incredible guy he's been in network marketing for

about four and a half years now and just in the last two years he really started

to figure out network marketing and what did it what else did he start doing

Michelle he started doing live videos and in the last two years in the last

two years Billy has grown a team of over 35,000 people I want to let you guys let

this sink in now results may vary I can't sit here and promise you that but

I can tell you that he would tell you with a straight face that Facebook lives

have been the driving force for his business and so it was about six or

seven months ago that him and I got together and we've been friends for a

while you know we're always like dude you're crushing videos do you're

crushing videos we need to get together and and put together the formula that's

working for network marketer right what is working for network

marketer so step one is we need to overcome the fear of doing lives let me

know yes or no doubt in the comment section are you doing live videos right

now just as simple yes or no love your feedback love to say love to say

congrats to those of you who are diving in already but even if you're not that's

okay so Billy and I got together we're like you know what we've got we've got

these things figured out there he is there's my buddy Billy I was just

promoting the heck out of you right now dude I know you just tuned on but but

Billy and I we got together you know several months ago we're like man we

have figured out Facebook live we have we have figured out that we have cracked

the code when it comes to live video for network markers we not only can it can

help network marketers overcome their fear of doing live videos but we can

actually set them up with a formula so that not only they start doing live

videos but that they can actually turn their live videos into cash generating

machines meaning more customers more reps more income more rank advancements

for their business and Mishelle I know you've had the opportunity the last

couple of days to dive into a new program that him and I put together I'd

absolutely love to hear just your honest transparent I'm not twisting your arm

your feedback on that course on that program that's literally gonna help

network marketers recruit an extra two to five folks per month through live

video love to hear your thoughts absolutely I didn't hesitate actually

I'm an Italian really quick story my husband was listening on the web was

listening in on the webinar he's not in direct sales but I was at my kitchen

table it was in the evening so that's where we sit during the evening and he

actually listened to the webinar and before I could even ask he said you need

to get that and I was like yes I do you know and I literally teared up because

that's often a long time it has been I'm gonna cheer up now thinking about it

it's been a long time since I have had extra money to invest

more into my business and I really believe that in order to grow yourself

personally not just for your team but for yourself you really need to invest

in yourself whether that be another coach reading personal development books

or giving your program so I did I jumped on it and I immediately dived right in

as soon as I got the link and there was the first few modules that really didn't

pertain to me because I have gone live before but me

the curiosity cat over here I watched him I listened to him and I

was I was completely amazed and impressed with how detailed it was

especially the one where Billy folks only what my eyes real quick if you're

amazing Michelle you're amazing I think especially the one where Billy funk was

going over how to get over the fear of going live for those who have never gone

live before I didn't have to listen to it I could have picked clips complete

and gone to the next module but I needed to listen to it I wanted to know what he

was going to say and before I even got even to the second of third sentence

when he started talking about peace I'm not going to say everything's I don't

want to give away all the details but we started talking about peace good hi

another quick story I hope you'll have time for it in July I went to my company

convention and we were blessed to have Martha Beck there to speak with us and

she talked about peace and it just brought that back home to me and she has

to an exercise to find our peace and that module that mr. Billy funk did high

five to you and both of you it reminded me a lot of that that moment at

convention so the short end of the whole of me going on

because I do like to ramble most of them most of my viewers know this variable

it's worth it's worth 10 top 20 times more than I paid for and I haven't even

gone through the first there's a lot more than I have to go through and I'm

excited to go through it because I know that it's jam-packed full of value and

I've only gone through 7 modules and I'm already like floored at what I'm what I

have taken in so far I learn a lot from my business through the coach I have a

lifestyle coach given to me I have you every day

and I just love hat that I have that choice to reach out to other people and

learn from other people and I really I really believe that by doing this live

it's to help others that may feel the fear of live and not knowing what to do

and to share you a little bit instead of hoarding you myself I'm trying I'm

trying to hide I'm trying to hide no we're so grateful for for you Michelle

and and and really really appreciate your kind words and I think one of the

one of the most amazing things about you and I know maybe you used to be a little

bit more reserved but just expressing vulnerability I think that that's that's

you know especially via live video I think that that's something that many

may be afraid of it first yeah you know to be honest with you but you know what

it's it's real it's raw it's transparent it's like hey listen I ain't perfect but

you know what I know these dating Facebook lives work

and if I suck at them or not or if I'm nervous or if I don't know what's going

on you know what I'm gonna do them anyway and and it's just just being able

to yeah I used to do them without with a weak connection going in and out my

connection was never clear and I still did them I'd have two viewers and maybe

no never shared it but because nobody really wants to watch a live

that's you know fuzzy and blurry but I still did them I still did them because

I knew that I had to get oh I had to get rid of that fear of talking on camera

and still get good practice me and Billie me and Billie are the first ones

to share that him and I also get nervous but I think that's you know I think

that's the power of what we put together in the program I really appreciate you

highlighting that first section because even though the course inside our new

course we lay out our strategic formula for any network marketer to start using

video new or not new and start turning them into customers and reps but we knew

the importance of adding a couple of bonus modules in the beginning to help

those who who have never done a live video and and need help in overcoming

the fear of doing those first couple of videos Billy absolutely knocked it out

of the park and him and I would be the first to tell you that him and I both

still get get get nervous before we hit that blue button and go live like I

don't know if it'll ever go away some people are maybe just Naturals and

it doesn't matter but you know what being an introvert myself and Billy I

think the same you know hitting that blue button can still get can still get

crazy but I think that that's the power and what we've been able to put together

and so I really appreciate you sharing all your value here tonight Michele and

and sharing with us you know being open and allowing us to share a little bit

more about why and how to brand yourself and the importance of that I'd love to

share with your viewers if you guys would like more information on what

Billy and I have put together the course that Michele is talking so highly of I
