Hello! This is Ujou Kazuki.

Today I'd like to show you how to do half-up twin tails.

To do half-up twin tails, you need

two hair ties.

As for the hair down here,

you can leave it straight,

or curl it so that it gets all fluffy,

or enjoy this hairstyle in many other different ways.

Let's begin!

I have shorter hair on the side here, so I'll leave that out

and tuck the rest behind my ear.

Once you have your hair tucked behind your ear,

Find the spot right in front of your ear

and the top center of your head.

Part your hair along the line between those two spots.

As for the amount of hair to use,

I decided to go for a fairly small amount.

Now let's tie it.

Brush the section of hair with a comb.

I'm going for a more elegant look this time

so I'm only using a small amount of hair.

Using more hair for the twin tails

will make it look more cutesy.

Now take your hair tie and tie your twin tail.

After you tied your hair,

don't forget to adjust the ribbon.

This is what the finished twin tail looks like.

Now let's move on to the other side.

Part your hair along the line between the top center of your head and the spot right in front of your ear.

Make sure to use about the same amount of hair as on the other side.

Pay attention to the ribbon on your hair tie when tying your hair.

Make sure both ribbons are symmetrical.
