How Big Is YOUR Potato? - Duration: 5:19.
Oh hey. I'm Jake just
uhh ya know juggling lemons. YeahLemons.com.
which is a sour dong, something you can do online now guys.
Hey. HEY!
Wanna know how big my potato is?
It's this big.
But I'm not here to brag about my potato size. I'm here to show you
how to cook them!
Grab your favorite potato, hold it up to the screen, and drag this until it's the same
size.
In the upper righthand corner it'll approximate the mass, kilocalories, and time needed to
cook it.
Which is probably less than the 400 years on
Histography, an extensive website where every single dot represents a historic event from
Wikipedia.
It spans from 1600 to 2000 and covers a variety of topics including music, construction, and
literature.
When you click on a dot some options will pop up.
You can read about it on wikipedia or watch a video of it.
If the idea of reading or watching or paying attention for a long time is not your thing
then just scroll through and see the dates things happened.
Or select related events to see what similar moments in history.
Enough history, let's brush up on geography with
Country Quiz, which is really difficult at least for me.
You are shown several photographs of a specific country which you now have to guess.
It also gives you a hint telling you how many letters are in the name of the country.
It's kind of not that helpful at all but that's okay because sometimes it'll show
a picture of the flag.
Now if you want you can cheat and google a list of every country's flag.
It's okay I won't tell on you. We're friends. Friends, they get each other's backs ya know?
If you have so much knowledge inside you it's hard to contain let it out with
Song Exploder.
First grab the pair of headphones I'm handing you right now and plug them in.
Select a song.
Any song.
As long as it's one of these six.
Then rotate the screen and you'll see the different types of instruments.
You'll notice the sound shifting around your head.
You can deactivate some sounds to single out the ones you care about most.
You could have them all activat at once but enough glutton, time for
Button...sandbox. Good transition Hannah.
Which is a satisfying DONG where you can draw and write things by selecting or deselecting
these knobs.
If you mess up just erase by clicking again...wait that just made it red.
Okay agai...alright now it's orange.
One more ti...yellow.
Green.
Blue.
Purple.
Black.
FINALLY!
So don't mess up.
Look at this stunningly magnificently gorgeous masterpiece.
If you're obsessed with these dots then might I suggest
Dotowheel?
In this game you need to rotate the dots and place them on the wheel to merge three or
more of the same number.
Click on a dot to swivel them around and click it again to play your turn.
If you're running out of options you can switch two dots already on the wheel by selecting
both of them.
I lost.
Delightful!
I'm not excited about that.
I was just playing
Shiritori a quick-paced word game.
You'll be prompted with a letter and you have to come up with the longest word in the
shortest amount of time that you can to achieve more points.
After you finish your word, your opponent has to come up with a word using the last
letter of the one you just wrote.
Now just go back and forth.
In other words just
Oscillate...ors.
Interact with these cute little monsters by dragging up and down.
And switch the oscillator type to listen to this glorious sound.
Oh wow.
Just wow.
That sounded as beautiful as
This full-size instagram photo of me looks. Eh, I give me like a five out of ten. But if you don't wanna look at this all the time which who does really. *Crying*
Type in a profile that isn't mine and stalk away in
full screen.
*sobbing*

If you want another thing you can do online now guys, well let me tell ya
is called video blocks by story blocks. They were nice enough to support this episode
and support Vsauce. It's a great stock footage site. I use
stock footage all the time. You can get things like this, this this. Ohhhh what about this? Or...yeah.
If you use the link at the top of the description you get a seven day free trial. You can download
anything you want from the member portion of the site and then you get 40% off the marketplace.
So there's a lot of good stuff. They have like after effects templates. Just stock footage in general
motion backgrounds. It's really cool so give it a little lookskiedoodle.
It's really helpful if you're doing video creation I must say.
Alright I'm gonna go give these lemons back to life.
Ya know why? I don't want your lemons life! I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down!
With the lemons. And as always....
well first and foremost, I'm sorry you had to see me angry
But as always, thanks for watching.
Oh this was a mistake.
*another Jake noise*
That was a mistake.

Butterfinger // TheCandyGuy - Duration: 3:32.
Welcome back to my channel TheCandyGuy where i talk about treats for the sweet
Today I'm going to talk about Butterfinger
the Butterfinger was introduced in 1920...3ish
Not too sure! The Curtis Candy Company introduced the Butterfinger bar
But it's not quite certain if it was in 1923
the Butterfinger bar is like many other candy bars that I've discussed in the past
where they've switched hands
so many times through different companies
and went in and out of production a few times
that information was lost and things changed
here's an advertisement that show's the Curtiss Candy Company
and their name with the Butterfinger bar
in the description it says it was made with caramel and honeycomb
there's no caramel and honeycomb in the Butterfinger bar anymore
it's now a crispy, crunchy, peanut butter, and milk chocolate
so the Butterfinger bar isn't even the same original Butterfinger bar
and just to tell you like I said 1923ish
for the anniversary Nestle's, who now owns the Butterfinger bar,
they had an advertisement said that said celebrating the 90ish anniversary
because they themselves aren't 100% certain the candy bar was invented in 1923
now I can't mention the Butterfinger without mentioning the Simpsons
The Simpsons have been associated with the Butterfinger
since 1988
that's actually one year before the cartoon
got it's own show
There was many slogans that the Simpsons would say in
the Butterfinger commercial but none are as famous as Bart Simpson's nobody better
"Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger"
another famous slogan for the Butterfinger bar
is actually written on the bar itself to let you know that it's a crispy crunchy
peanut butter bar but it says "crispity, crunchity, peanut buttery"
that way there's no mistaking what kind of bar you're getting
so there's the Butterfinger it has flakes of crunchy peanut butter
in the inside and it's coated in milk chocolate
totally different from its original recipe. Let's dive in
the Butterfinger bar is my favorite candy bar in the entire world
there's a lot of runner-ups
that are almost there that can knock it out
but I grew up with the Butterfinger
it's my favorite candy bar since I was a kid I just love the crunchiness of it
and how it dissolves quickly and becomes this peanut butter in your mouth and the milk chocolate
You know I love milk chocolate and peanut butter
those are my weaknesses. My sweet tooth out of all candy in this world
I will crumble (laughs)
at the flavors and taste of chocolate and peanut butter I just love those flavors together
Thank you for watching this week's video of TheCandyGuy
Links for the Penny Candy Store and myself will be in the description of this video

See Through Car - Hitting Massive Potholes and Terrible Streets (E.1) 4K [ Slow Motion ] - Duration: 13:11.
Welcome back to warped perception.
First thing I need to do.
It's figure out what repairs need to be made.
Are you ready to strip down the Mercedes?.
Yes.
This episode is right up my alley.
I'm excited about it.
I got the idea to do this from the previous videos I've done.
See through engine.
And the see-through model rocket engine.
I had the idea to get a car.
And remove as much of the exterior as possible.
To reveal the suspension.
Drivetrain.
And Chassis.
Then I'm going to put the car through a few extreme tests.
And see what we get.
I think it's going to be really cool.
And I think we're going to learn something.
How about how the car works.
How the suspension components work.
And absorb the shock of the road.
And I definitely have some roads for you.
First thing I need is a car.
My friends at Mercedes-Benz of Chicago.
For this episode were nice enough.
To give me this car right here.
But not everything is perfect with this car.
Apparently it has already seen its day.
I have to make any necessary repairs.
Because.
This car is about to take a beating.
According to the repair order.
This car has two broken front Springs.
And ironically 4 bad shock absorbers.
Got to make sure we have enough windshield washer fluid in here for the road.
This car has been sitting here for two years.
Looks like we have an episode to make.
Are you ready to strip down a Mercedes?.
Yes.
No we got the car all cleaned up.
Ready to take it to the garage.
Alright so it looks like I didn't make it all the way.
This thing started overheating.
Somebody took the radiator hose off of it.
Oh well let's go get some antifreeze.
Good thing we're really close to Fletcher Jones.
Let's get this radiator hose plugged up.
We got the antifreeze.
Get this antifreeze in there.
Temperature looks good it's going down.
Alrighty we got the car up.
Let's do our preliminary inspection.
yeah something's not right in there.
Yeah so that spring is definitely broken.
The piece is still in there.
All we have to do is take this apart.
And get some new Springs in there.
And We're ready to go.
Alright there's our Springs.
I just want to make sure all of these covers are fastened down properly.
Before this thing hits the road.
And ready.
Oh yeah ready to hit the road.
Now that we got that all fixed.
Before I strip it down.
I'm going to take the car to our location.
See how it likes the terrain.
And the get a couple shots of it in its complete form.
We are here at the location.
And we're going to see just how much.
This Mercedes-Benz E-class likes this street.
Alright so it looks like after that one puny run.
Our car is overheating.
I think this has something to do with it here.
Tube that goes between here and here.
Must be part of the cooling system.
Because it's overheating.
What I did is.
I went to Home Depot.
And got this.
And a few fittings.
And I'm just going to outfit this with a.
A piece of tubing.
This brass nipple.
This hose right here.
I'm going to put a brass nipple right in here in this water neck.
And a brass nipple in this cooling Reservoir.
Then I'm just going to connect the hose in between the two.
And yeah I think we're set we're ready to go.
We have now arrived at one of the most exciting parts of our episode.
It's time to expose the inner workings of the Beast.
This is got to be one of the top three craziest ideas.
I've had yet.
Most of these things I do on my own.
But in this case.
I need some help.
Alright the whole thing comes off.
Go carry it Let's go.
Ready go all right.
Now for this next test.
I'm not going to run the length of the street.
I'm just going to hit one pothole.
And one particular pothole.
This one right here.
I saw this one a mile away.
This one is about eight or nine inches deep.
I'm going to try to hit this at about 20 miles per hour.
I think this is going to give us a great demonstration.
Of how the suspension components work in unison.
I don't think that at first we're going to get in the upward Force.
We're going to kind of get some lateral force in there.
And see how the suspension components deal.
With all of that shock.
And what they do with that energy.
So that's what we're going to do so let's go.
Okay so that was a little slow for my preference.
I got a little scared.
I thought the tire might pop.
And then I realized that this is a Mercedes.
That being said that last run was in about 10 miles an hour.
I'm going to jack this one up to about 20 or 25 miles per hour.
I think we're going to see some serious.
Some type of movement or something cool happening.
Now that I got that pothole run all done.
I'm just going to have fun with it.
I'm thinking I'm going to try to get this car airborne.
And the way I'm going to do that Is.
After looking at the street.
I realize that there's like a ramp right here.
If I drive in the opposite direction that I've been driving.
Which is going to be South instead of North.
I think I'll be able to catch some air.
I'm just a little bit worried because.
I don't want to bust up our air conditioning condenser.
Or bust up our radiator.
Because our air conditioning condenser is in such good condition as it is.
And yeah that's what I'm going to do.
Keep your fingers crossed.
And hope that I get air.
Alright so I shut it off right away.
I have some really crazy engine vibration.
I'm going to take a look and inspect the damage.
Let's look inside there.
And it looks like I bent the whole subframe.
Up about 4 to 5 about 4 inches.
Our whole radiator support has moved inward.
So our radiator is kind of tilted now.
I don't know over here.
I don't know if you can see that line right there.
Busted line hopefully that's not a power steering line.
Oh no you know what.
That's our AC line okay that's fine.
Well the good news is that our radiator isn't leaking.
The radiator is still intact.
Which means that the car is still in good.
Decent running condition.
But I think that's all of this street that this car is going to see.
I don't think it will take another run.
Since we really been that subframe badly.
And yeah that's about it.
That concludes episode 1 of our See through Car Series.
But don't you worry episode 2 is coming up right after this one.
I am excited to see what the limit of this car is.
And just how much I can take before it breaks.
I'm going to be pushing this car harder and faster in every episode.
So make sure you subscribe.
And look out for those episodes.
Tell us what you think in the comments below.
Thanks for watching.

Mercedes-Benz presents: Bernhard Turns the Tables - Duration: 2:45.
So day one of the MercedesTrophy World Final 2017, the players at Schloss Nippenburg.
I'm delighted to say that joining me in the commentary box for the first round,
is the course designer himself – Bernhard Langer.
Bernhard, welcome! Let's get straight into the action with some of the play and we can start on hole 10.
Yeah, it's a nice par 3, downhill. Today probably about 170 yards, the pin is back left,
and that was a lovely shot, that's where I would have aimed it.
Just right of the flag so you don't shortside yourself.
Birdie chance here for Team Spain.
Just off the green, lovely touch! Look at that.
- Unlucky! - Almost made it. Little bit of emotion there.
Well this looks like a really wicked bunker shot.
A tough lie there but look at that execution,
- that's better than most pros could have done, congrats! - That's fantastic.
I thought we were supposed to be playing golf but everyone entering into the spirit, Bernhard.
Enjoying it out on the course.
- Having a great time. - But Team India for a birdie.
Yeah, that backstroke was right on line, he made it. What a wonderful birdie there.
Great for Team India.
The greens seem to be very smooth.
Now, let's have a look at this tee shot.
He's got a nice little pause on top of the back swing.
- Oh, my word! - No way! Hole in one?
Hole in one for Team Poland.
You've got to be kidding me!
And he's loving it!
Incredible.
Let's take a quick break from the action, head to the putting green.
That person looks familiar?
Hey, on the putting green.
Well thanks, Bernhard. I'm now here on the putting green where I have some journalists
and I'm going to critique their putting strokes.
Are we a little nervous yet? Look at all these spectators, you know.
Yeah, the pressure is on.
Cross handed grip, look at that.
All right, short back swing and good follow through.
Amazing putt!
Wow, that was impressive, I've got to give you a high five. Well done.
Who's next?
Not bad at all. A little aggressive, a little speedy. I would stick to writing.
Well, that was a mixed bag of putts. Back to you in the studio.
Well what a fantastic opening day of the MercedesTrophy World Final for 2017.
Bernhard, thank you very much for giving us your time.
It was my pleasure, thanks very much for having me, Charlie.

Yom Kippur War begins - 10/6/1973 - Duration: 1:22.
Today in military history, 1973,
the Yom Kippur War begins,
as Egyptian and Syrian forces attack Israel
on the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
During the Six-Day War of 1967,
Israel managed to take control
of the Sinai Peninsula
and the Gaza Strip from Egypt,
the West Bank in east Jerusalem from Jordan,
and the Golan Heights from Syria,
and the Arab powers wanted it all back.
Egypt's president, Anwar el-Sadat,
conceived a plan that would either gain back Egypt's losses,
or hurt Israel enough to consider making peace.
Sadat formed an alliance with Syria,
and together they attacked Israel's forces
while they were observing the holiday.
The war did not go as planned for the Arab powers.
The Israeli response was much faster than anticipated,
and Israel surrounded Egypt's third army
in their own territory west of the Suez
as Israelis advanced within 40 miles of Damascus.
Still, the fighting continued
until the United Nations secured a cease-fire
later in the month.
Israel retained more of the Golan Heights,
but would eventually see the Sanai back to Egypt
after the 1979 Camp David Accords.
On the eighth anniversary of the start of the war,
Sadat was assassinated by Islamist army members
for making peace with Israel.

October TBR | 2017 - Duration: 6:17.
Hey guys! It's Trina and these are the books that I want to read in October. I
want to start out by telling you guys about a series I plan to start this
month. It is the Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard series by Rick Riordan
and this section of the video is paid promotion with Disney Hyperion. The third
book in this series finally came out. It is the last book in the trilogy. So far
it's just planned to be three books, at least I don't know if there will be more
in the future. I have previously read Rick Riordan's two Percy Jackson series and
when I read those I was able to read all of them back-to-back so I was waiting to
start this series until it was finished or until at least several books were out.
So the three books in this series are The Sword of Summer, The Hammer of Thor,
and The Ship of the Dead, which is the third book that just came out. It came
out on October 3rd so it is ready and available now. This series is finally
mine to binge read and I'm very excited about that. So this month I am planning
to start the series, meaning I want to read at least the first book, The Sword
of Summer. So this one is about Norse mythology. We're following a main
character named Magnus Chase who finds out one day he is the son of a Norse God
and that all of the Viking legends are true.
He ends up being thrown into like this world of the Norse gods and that they
are preparing for war and he needs to track down with this legendary weapon
that can maybe help them out. I have really enjoyed Rick Riordan's storytelling
and stuff before so I'm definitely looking forward to starting this series
this month. One of the creepy books I want to read this month is This Darkness
Mine by Mindy McGinnis. I've heard this is kind of creepy. It is about a girl who
learns that she was supposed to be a twin but like she absorbed her twin in
utero and now as she's like in high school and she's like the perfect student,
straight A's, the "good girl," she starts to think that this other twin is like
trying to take over her body. It seems to me like there's a little paranormal edge
to it. That's what like the book trailer and everything makes me think, that it
maybe is either paranormal or you don't really know what the truth is.
I'm really looking forward to this one just because I am a Mindy McGinnis fan
girl. I've heard that this book is really weird, that it's freaky. Some people aren't
liking it. I am very curious in it, that just piques my interest more because I
have no idea what to expect now. I've also got The Near Witch by Victoria
Schwab. This was Victoria's debut novel. It is a YA book and that's really all
I know about it. I'm assuming that it is about a witch and I have heard that it
is a little creepy. I don't want to read the synopsis at this point, I want to go
into it not knowing anything about it, just that it's by Victoria Schwab and
that this is a book that is very hard to get your hands on these days because
like it's out of print with her old publisher and everything. But I came into
a copy of this like a year or a year and a half ago and I was always thinking, you
know what I should save that and read it for October if it's gonna be creepy. So
this is on my plan for this month as well. And then I have a couple of books
that I am currently reading, so those are also on this month's TBR and I think
they're pretty fitting for an October theme as well. The first book that I
am currently between chapters of is The Rattled Bones by SM Parker. This is a
ghost story. It's like a YA kind of contemporary paranormal story about a
girl who, she's a fisherwoman, like she just lives on this coastal town in Maine,
they fish, they do lobster fishing. Her father dies, she feels like the veil
between life and death has kind of been broken because she starts seeing a ghost
all of a sudden, or what she thinks is a ghost, and then she starts learning about
a mystery of one of the nearby islands and like none of the locals want to talk
about it because something really terrible happened to the people who
lived on that Island like 80 or 100 years ago or something. So this is a
mystery and has ghosty vibes to it. I'm a little over 100 pages in right now, 130
pages in. It's not really grabbing me yet. It's just not enough mystery and way too
much fishing for my personal taste but that doesn't mean it's not gonna get
better because I am really intrigued about this island mystery and the
ghost thing and it's even more intriguing knowing that this is based on
the true history of real place. The other thing I'm currently between chapters of
is the audiobook of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I am continuing my
reread of the Harry Potter series this year by listening to the audiobooks - the
ones narrated by Jim Dale. I'm about 75% of the way through this already because I'm
kind of just blowing through it. I think Prisoner of Azkaban fits in with a
Halloween theme, like there's a werewolf, there's a lot of predictions of death,
and the grims and stuff so I'm counting this as a spooky book. [laughs] Um yeah, this one is
another that I will finish up in October though so that's also on my TBR. That is it
for my official section of the TBR. There are two books that I really want to read
this month but I don't think I'm gonna get them in time from my library because
the wait lines are just a little too long. I really really want to read
There's Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins which is a YA
thriller in the vein of Scream. I just am in the mood for like a slasher
mystery kind of thing and I'm really curious to see how Stephanie Perkins
transitions into a new genre, but unfortunately despite being in line for
this book for like two months, everyone else was also in line for this book for
like two months and their copies have come in pretty slowly. I don't think
people are gonna return the copies ahead of me before the end of the month so
I don't know. If I can get it I'm definitely going to be reading this this
month but I don't know that I will get it. And then the other book I really wish
I could get in time for October is Before the Devil Breaks You by Libba
Bray, which is the third Diviners book. I love this series and I especially love
in on audiobook and so I am waiting for my library to get to the audiobook
copies in. I will listen to it as soon as I get it but I don't want to put these
two books on my real TBR because there's a huge chance I just won't even be
able to read them this month because I won't get them in time. So that's my TBR
for October. Let me know if you guys are reading any spooky books. If you have any
thrillers or mysteries or spooky creepy reads that you want to recommend to me I
will maybe make room for them this month or at least keep them on my radar for
next year because I'm always kind of looking for October themed reading.
Leave me recommendations if you have them, let me know what you guys are planning
to read this month. Thank you guys so much for watching and I will see you in
the comments. Bye!

POKÉMON POWER | Songify This - Duration: 3:09.
Pokémon, plural.
I said, son, what is that one morning
He said, "That's uh, that's Pokémon."
Son, I found out that Pokémon means "pocket monster".
[sweet 80s drum fill]
But why should they
Carry these monsters in their pocket
[contemplation: why?]
Pokemon world is a world of the demonic
[musical pondering of the occult]
They say it's just a game
But they can't get saved
Our kids are going out on the streets in gangs
I assure you that creature wants to ruin their brain
Say it's just a game
But they can't get saved
They can't go to heaven
When they play pokemon today today today
Pokémon Power
Pokémon Witchcraft
Pokémon Power
Fantasy Roleplay
Pokémon Power
Pokémon wants to ruin their life
Pokémon Power
Pokémon Demons
Pokémon Power
They grow and evolve
Pokémon Power
Children might be stabbed
might be blown away
Today
Pokémon Power

Pokémon Power
Children become the #1 Pokémon master
Little reclusive power-filled monsters
Tell those spirits what to do
The child is capable of taking these powers
And channeling them
Through their mind
Their mind
Their mind (supernaturally good vocal riff)
To train spirits in the dark realm
They say it's JUST A GAME
But they can't get saved
Our kids are going out on the streets in gangs
I assure you that creature wants to ruin your brain

How Do Helicopters Fly Without Wings? - Duration: 3:02.
Helicopters kinda look like fat bugs lying on their backs flailing their legs around…
so how exactly can they fly with more precision than an airplane?
Airplanes fly because their wings are curved on the top and flat on the bottom, allowing
them to harness the Bernoulli Principle.
With speed, the air passing over the wing is less dense than the air under it, creating
lift.
Helicopters have rotor blades that also create lift.
As the blades spin they move the air.
Less dense air passes over the blades with denser air passing underneath it.
Put that way it sounds simple, but it's far more complicated, because while airplanes
get lift naturally by moving through the air helicopters have to constantly generate it
themselves.
This is how they can takeoff and land vertically, and also fly backwards, sideways, and hover
in place.
But they can't glide if something goes wrong; they aren't aerodynamic like planes.
If they lose power, they fall like a rock.
Helicopters fly by sheer brute force, which is really incredible, but gives them some
limits.
Planes can fly upside-down — the fixed wing means that as long as air is moving over the
wing, usually by tilting the nose upwards slightly, it still has lift.
As a helicopter's rotor spins, the generated thrust moves upwards with the direction of
lift, so flying upside-down would demand redirecting the blades so the thrust is the opposite way,
supporting an upside-down vehicle.
That said, a helicopter could fly a barrel roll if it was moving fast enough, but that's
a stunt you're more likely to see at an airshow than from a news helicopter over a
city.
Speaking of helicopters over cities, you always know when one is out there.
Because they're loud.
They're loud not because of the engine, but because the blades are running into turbulence
from each other, properly called the blade–vortex interaction: the tips of the rotor blades
vibrate against the air as they whip around.
Airplane wings have changed overtime to have flaps and malleable shapes that react to flight
conditions.
Helicopters have done this too; different blade shapes, tip shapes, and even materials
have shown to decrease the noise of a helicopter.
One kind of blade has flaps on edge of that move 15 to 40 times a second to reduce the
noisey blade-vortex interaction.
Even NASA is looking into developing better blades for a quieter helicopter, looking to
a future where larger, versions can carry a sizable passenger load between cities.
Without runways, commuter chopper flights could limit air traffic congestion.
But helicopters with one rotor can only lift so much.
Which is why bigger choppers like the Chinook have two.
More blades can provide more lift, but it also adds weight and complexity.
For a heavier helicopter the extra lift from the added blades is sometimes vital.
Not only do those look cool, but they're useful.
Just like a helicopter should be.
