Trump Slams Democrats For Defending Comey They'll Be Thanking Me! - Duration: 2:40.
Trump Slams Democrats For Defending Comey They'll Be Thanking Me!
by Tyler Durden
It was a return to the old, familiar routine on Wednesday morning, when President Trump
went after Democrats on Twitter for their reaction to his decision to fire FBI Director
James Comey.
"The Democrats have said some of the worst things about James Comey, including the fact
that he should be fired, but now they play so sad!" the president tweeted Wednesday.
Trump unexpectedly fired Comey - the man who had been leading the controversial investigation
into potential ties between the Trump campaign and Russia - on Tuesday evening, a decision
some media reports suggested he had expected would be met with a favorable reception from
Democrats, and especially the Clinton team, especially after Hillary accused Comey of
being the catalyst behind her losing the election.
The dismissal came in a signed letter from Trump to Comey that said it was time for a
"new beginning" at the nation's "crown jewel of law enforcement."
Comey was in LA at the time, and learned about his termination while watching TV.
Needless to say, the move "shocked" Washington and sparked outrage from Democrats, who said
the president was trying to shut down the FBI's investigation.
Democratic lawmakers fired off statements condemning the president's actions and impugning
his motives, with some alluding to the Watergate era.
The most vocal response came from Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer late Tuesday raised
questions about the reasoning behind Comey's firing.
Were these investigations getting too close to home for the president? Schumer asked
during a news conference.
Are people going to suspect cover-up?
Absolutely.
Trump responded to that on Tuesday night, tweeting "Cryin' Chuck Schumer stated recently,
"I do not have confidence in him (James Comey) any longer."
Then acts so indignant.
#draintheswamp"
In two follow up tweets, Trump also said that "James Comey will be replaced by someone who
will do a far better job, bringing back the spirit and prestige of the FBI" and added
that "Comey lost the confidence of almost everyone in Washington, Republican and Democrat
alike.
When things calm down, they will be thanking me!"

COMING OUT as a spoonie - Duration: 9:19.
Hi you! it's Evie or Fibro mom one of the most
common questions I have gotten since
being on YouTube is when should I tell
somebody they have a chronic illness
this doesn't just go for chronic pain
illnesses I think it goes for all
invisible illnesses. ZANDER IS PLAYING IN THE BACK
on mental illnesses depression Crohn's
fibromyalgia anything that nobody could
tells you have to simply looking at them
this one was a tough one for me for
quite a while because I had a hard time
with it I think a lot of it first has to
do with accepting it's hard to accept
something that you want no part of you
have a vision in your mind how you want
your life to be and when something
tragic just is thrown at you and shakes
you up and changes everything it's hard
to accept it you know I guess the best
way I could describe it would be when
people can't see what's physically wrong
with you in pass judgment it's like once
they're told something's wrong they want
to throw some unasked advice your way
with your work there's friends there's
family it's a lot to think about let
alone to live with so you know this was
already held enough and you shouldn't
make it any harder on ourselves and it
over two years and for the longest time
I wish I was more open telling people I
mean you don't want to be one of those
people in a grocery store one hi could
you show me with a lots of writers and
here's my whole life story and it's like
you make it one big stop story you don't
want that but you don't want to
completely shut out from everybody
either so it's like trying to find that
happy balance again just like you're the
healthy balances we've talked about
before I feel more comfortable talking
about it now because I've gone through a
little bit of it everybody's so
different you know your
those are different than my struggles
and the people you know can be different
than the people are different than the
people I know there's so many
differences but maybe you could take
something from it
I believe the first time I really told
somebody was this last job that I worked
for I was nervous about it it was a very
difficult job yeah I didn't last there
very very long I I remember
contemplating back and forth doing so we
tell them doing not and just try to deal
with it like I do with everything else
and so when I got there and going
through my application everything it's
like I gotta be honest I'm one of those
people like if I'm not honest with
somebody it's going to eat at me and eat
at me yet mean me it wouldn't make me a
bad person for not telling them what I
would have bothered me so I did tell
them and they're like okay you're really
good about everything but later to find
out they knew nothing about ever Mel Joe
and they asked me what days are worse
and you know I had to explain it's not
like a calendar given to me and what
these are going to be Helen which these
would be great man I wish I wish we had
that that would make life so much easier
but we don't I let them know I was
weather changes it was dressed you know
I love to know certain things like that
and it just it wasn't working out but
you know what I was so happy I actually
spoke up about it
I had friends but just before it you
know I kind of feel it out with the
people you know there's something that
comes up like a friend I keep forgetting
something like we still stick it
together and I'm not feeling well I
actually forget the date that we were
supposed to do it and when it's
happening like that I'm feeling really
bad you already felt guilty for having
this illness so but once I opened up I
would tell that friend I'm sorry I have
this bad memory thing and I'll start
getting on the topic of something else
and they'll stabilize that
or unlike that too and then it gives you
a chance to say well I was I was
actually diagnosed with it and you know
people are going to naturally want to be
a problem-solver it seemed and try not
to take that to heart too much because
you're going to get a lot of that most
likely but I think the best is just to
feel it out and your gut if you feel
like you should be telling someone sets
out someone and if your illness of
stopping you from doing something bring
that up know if there's that problem you
know what and I'll kind of outweigh the
good in the band of telling that person
the grade of telling them would be they
could be wanting to know more to
understand you more and that will help
you you know sometimes help would be
great that is something I'm working on
but if they offer you help take the help
but also let them know that don't offer
helpers they can't help if you wouldn't
want to burn them out too just to keep
it so it's not this type of secret
because you already got enough on your
shoulders
you don't need anymore extra explain to
them and I easier ways and so you know
you already know it's so complicating so
try finding simpler ways to understand
shown one of those articles that you
ready know if you've read 100 of them
and tell them how like everybody has
this how did I explain it before it like
this pain nap switch thing like if you
were to get pinched
you know I'll show first or if you ever
put your hand on the frying pan and I
had a heart few natural reactions to
back off cause it hurt so bad but our
nap is turned up so high that sometimes
hug can hurt much is written your hand
in the frying pan you know something
like that and how that now heightens
every sensory pain smell sounds light
like it makes everything overwhelmingly
heightened and that's torture you know
in just a little bit satisfying don't
don't make it overwhelming for them
either
if you know I really believe that the
ones that care for you they're going to
stick around if you're
for you to tell maybe it's time to tell
them because if they have run off and
they're no longer by your side it goes
to show you they weren't a friend to
begin with and it does hurt like how
lost a lot of friends but I promise you
you're definitely going to find out
where your true friends are and although
I have lost a lot of a lot of friends
I'm really happy I guess because it
shows me whether fans you guys like
reaching out to people that understand
you and there's been such a lifesaver
you have no idea I'm talking interacting
with you guys it makes this so much
easier to deal with if you only have any
advice I really like to hear it the
comment section below because a lot of
people rebuild without you even knowing
people are writing them it can really
help somebody letting go of feeling
ashamed and so embarrassed of something
you can't control you think of it like
you're losing a loved one or you getting
a drunk driver with they hit you or
something bad that happens that you did
not cause okay that is your illness you
can ask for it and don't allow people
will let you feel that way I think
that's another video in itself but I
hope you understand where I'm going with
this to guys and I hope it makes them
feel but finding those little little
ways of them to understand like the film
theory that could really help people let
them know that everybody's different -
and
and like I said so grab for you to find
out where your two friends are so you
guys that's really about it for this
video I hope I helped some or everyone's
on their own little different journey
and like I said different struggles but
you really have some really hard ones
but you're gonna have some good orange
to just know that you have your salumi
if you have needs if you talk to you do
you ever need someone to talk to you
alright give me a big favor and share
what other spoonie's people with chronic
illnesses maybe I'll help them alright I
appreciate your guys without my videos
don't really have much of a voice
without you guys sharing them so I
appreciate you to therapy next video I
hope you feel well if you're not I love
seeing the next deal
would you

Best Gaming Keyboards | Best Keyboard For Gaming 2017 - Duration: 4:23.
today I'm gonna show you top three best
mechanical gaming keyboard number three
logitech c910 orion spark the g 910
orion spark is one of the first key
ballers from logitech that is using
their own Romer G switches that were
created in cooperation with none other
than Omron's in terms of size the
keyboard is an absolute monster however
you'd be surprised to see that Logitech
has opted to go with a high-quality
brushed plastic instead of aluminum in
the build quality while this makes the
keyboard way a lot less than the
competition it also makes the keyboard
construction feel a bit cheap to those
who look closely
sadly the keyboard doesn't come with a
pass-through at all something that is
sad especially when you look at the
price you're paying for this keyboard
the G 910 orion spark uses a single USB
braided cable instead of two that we see
on the corsair lineup of keyboards one
thing that we really like is that the
keyboard ships with two detachable wrist
rests that are slightly different and
are there to provide you the comfort
however you want it another really
clever thing about this keyboard is that
it has a dock where you can put your
phone in case you need to this keyboard
uses ABS plastic key caps however they
are aggressively designed and contoured
for more information and latest price
check description below this video
number 2 Razer BlackWidow chroma the
BlackWidow chroma comes with razor's own
green and orange switches that are not
made by Cherry MX and while this may put
some people off do keep in mind that
these switches are amazing for gaming as
well as typing so without further ado
let's take a look the good thing about
this keyboard is that Razer has finally
ditched their all plastic construction
in favor of metal much like some of the
other high-end mechanical keyboards this
one also comes with a metal top giving
it an extra level of protection the
keyboard offers a USB pass-through as
well as it passed through for a speaker
and microphone and the cable is properly
braided providing the maximum security
this keyboard comes in raised
green and orange switches and do keep in
mind that there's no denying that these
switches are actually rebranded kale
switches the typing experience on the
green switches remained relatively
average with no real incentive over the
Cherry MX switches as for the gaming the
greens which is absolutely shine in that
department offering us one of the best
gaming experiences you can get from this
keyboard well it's certainly not the
best gaming keyboard in the market it's
good enough and certainly deserve the
spot on my list number one Corsair k70
RGB rapid-fire the first gaming keyboard
on our list is obviously the corsair k70
RGB rapid-fire now this keyboard may
come as a surprise to some because it is
basically an updated version of the k70
RGB and the k70 RGB Lux in case you're
wondering what updated and whatnot keep
in mind that you're getting an updated
lighting controller and in addition to
that you're getting the all new cherry
MX feed switch which is also known as
the MX silver switch because of the
color this switch has the same xua ssin
force of 45 grams as the MX red but the
actuation point has been reduced from
the standard two millimeters to a one
point two millimeters for those who
don't know the actuation force is
basically the amount of force required
to bottom out of the key
as for the actuation point it's the
amount of distance the key has to travel
in order to get registered the build
quality is super satisfying however the
only issue is that Corsairs decision of
using as keycaps rather than the more
durable PB TQ calf as you all know AB
ski caps lose their matte finish and
become shinier for more information and

How to play Fingerstyle - "Class 01" - Italo Bruno Fingerstyle - Duration: 3:19.
Hi all right with you? Welcome, my name is Ítalo Bruno. Today I'm going to make a slightly different video here on the channel.
As I had many people asking me for tips, asking about private lessons and such ... I decided to do a series of classes to help you who are interested in learning guitar and also Fingerstyle
In class I'm going to pull the Fingerstyle closer, but you can rest assured that even if your intention is not to learn fingerstyle, I'm sure these classes will be very useful to you.
First of all, I wanted to make it clear ... that you're going to have to take two essential tips seriously that I'm going to talk about now ... Dedication and practice.
Seriously, to get really good on the guitar ... you'll have to repeat the same exercise several times, the same song, you'll probably have to watch these lessons more than once
but this is normal, you have to Accustom your brain to getting involved with the study of music.
Taking some time out of your day to study these classes ... I'm sure you'll evolve a lot.
The first exercise we'll do is the Finger Independence ... what's the use of that?
Here's one of the biggest difficulties for anyone learning guitar, is not having absolute control of the hand when it comes to playing
the hand is heavy, the fingers do not respond to what you want to do. And to solve this, we can work with these exercises here.
You will put the 4 fingers from the third house, on the third string ... the G string.
And you will exercise this way: leaving your fingers 3 and 4 fixed, moving fingers 1 and 2 that way.
Then, fixing fingers 1 and 2, and moving fingers 3 and 4.
And then, setting 1 and 4, moving 2 and 3.
In the video description, I'm leaving a Tab with other formats of this exercise.
Remembering that this is not a speed exercise, then you do not have to do it fast ... and it does work.
In this other exercise, we will focus more on the right hand ... it is quite simple to understand how it works. At the outset, it is not necessary to put chords here on the guitar. You'll leave all the strings loose, and you'll make that move.
See that it is very simple indeed, but this will make a total difference in your learning ... you can be sure.
In the description I'm leaving a PDF with other models of this exercise as well.
So this is personal, this was a test lesson ... I hope you have enjoyed this format. Leave your comment with suggestion of new topics for the next classes, I will try to prepare a new material for you, right? Strong embrace and good studies!

Best Soundbar 2017? 3 Best Soundbar For The Money - Duration: 4:25.
today I'm gonna show you top three best
sound burrs number three the cue
acoustics m4 sound bird doesn't
immediately set pulses racing with it's
slightly prosaic looks near two points
one channel sound in lack of any HDMI
support however you only have to hear
what the end four can do with both music
and movies for your doubts about it to
evaporate almost instantly in fact it
sounds so good that it starts to make
the idea of trying to deliver more
channels from an affordable sound bar
look a bit silly in fact though it
sounds so much better than pretty much
any rival sound burr in the same price
bracket that it's actually ridiculously
good value especially if you care about
music as much as you care about movies
at first glance the Q acoustics m4 sound
burr doesn't exactly look like the stuff
of home entertainment dreams it lacks
the glamorous design of many of its 2016
rivals it only manages a 2.1 speaker
count at a time when we are starting to
see sound burrs now offering 10 channels
and Dolby Atmos encoding there's not an
HDMI input loop throw in sight unusually
for sound for review we're going to kick
off the performance section by talking
about the m4s performance with music why
because it's just so damn good for more

My Neighbor, Charles | 이웃집 찰스 - Ep.112 [ENG/2017.05.11] - Duration: 45:02.
(The hot place for designs)
(Korea's landmark DDP)
(Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Jung-gu, Seoul)
(112th class at the foreigner school)
This is My Neighbor, Charles
where we meet foreigners living in Korea.
- Hello. / - Hello.
We have a flower and candles in here today, Sayuri.
Do you know why?
Why is that? Is there a fortune-teller?
I guess you don't know about the Buddha's birthday.
We have that in Japan too
but we aren't really familiar with it.
It's the Buddha's birthday special today so...
Are there many Buddhists in Japan?
Yes, but I think Japanese don't really
care about each other's religion.
So they hold weddings at church
but also go to a temple and pray on New Year's Day.
In France, there aren't that many Buddhists.
It's about 1%.
But people are very fond of Buddhism
because it has that image of being
righteous and peaceful.
Today's guest is from Europe.
She's not a regular Buddhist.
She came to Korea from Hungary
to become a monk. Let's invite her.
- Come on in. / - Come in.
Hello.
So cool.
- Hello. / - Hello.
Hello.
I'm from Hungary.
I'm Cheongjin, a Buddhist ascetic.
The word "Cheong" means pure and clear.
And "jin" means truth.
So it means to share and teach dharma
all around the world.
How did you learn about Buddhism in Hungary?
I'm curious.
In 2010, I went to Thailand.
I wasn't interested in Buddhism at that time.
I was practicing qigong.
But my karma appeared within 4 days.
What did you do in the past?
Yes, I'm also curious.
I was a marketing manager.
Marketing manager?
I also taught at a university
about advertisement production.
You grew up in a place that has nothing to do
with Buddhism. Why did you choose Buddhism?
I was about 31 years old and my job was stable
and my salary was good.
But one day, I felt that it's all unnecessary.
I thought that I needed a real master.
I decided to give up my job and all the materials
because it was all senseless for me.
We all are living such busy lives.
I hope we could get comforted today through
the life of Cheongjin.
- I want to learn. / - Let's follow...
The daily life of the Buddhist ascetic Cheongjin.
(My Neighbor, Charles)
(A Buddhist ascetic with blue eyes)
The sound of the clear bell
rings through the dawn, waking up the city.
(The sound of the bell rings through the dawn)
According to the rules of the Korean Buddhist temple,
the Buddhist ascetic's day begins from early morning.
(Cheongjin bows 300 times to Buddha every morning)
It's only her 2nd month in Korea.
She can't speak Korean yet
but she's pretty good at the ceremonial service
done in Korean.
When the morning ceremonial service finishes
she begins preparing breakfast which is one of the
most important daily tasks for an Buddhist ascetic.
But the flames rise...
And the water boils over.
Cheongjin isn't used to the kitchen work
as she was always an office worker.
(A total mess)
The fireplace is different in Europe.
And for me, it's very unusual.
The gas is very strong here.
So that's why she was having trouble with the fire.
But she seems to be pretty good with the knife.
Everyone likes her food.
Is she good at cooking?
Yes, she's practically a cook. She's really good.
Cheongjin prepared a Hungarian breakfast.
She made carrot soup instead of Korean stew.
And kimchi and salad are the side dishes.
It's a multinational table.
(A fresh vegetarian breakfast)
Monks don't eat meat
so they eat cheese for protein.
Cheongjin doesn't eat cheese.
Although, she came from the country of cheese.
Cheongjin, who was born and raised in Europe,
enjoys her rice with pickles and kimchi.
I think she was a Korean in her previous life.
I think so too.
She loves kimchi.
Have one, Cheongjin.
Yeah.
(Hahaha)
Teach her properly.
You should say "yes."
Not "yeah."
You say that to people of your age or below.
To become a monk, one has to spend
about 6 months to a year as a Buddhist ascetic.
It's a period of time that she has to
forget about her identity in the real world
and to lower herself and serve others.
Aren't you tired?
No, I enjoy working.
Really?
Yes, I like physical labor.
It's good for the mind and the body.
Bara Agnes was born and raised in
Eastern Europe, where Buddhism is very rare.
She was raised in a happy family and succeeded
as a marketing manager of a global company.
Why did she decide to become a monk
leaving behind her envious life?
I had good career and I had everything
but I felt empty inside.
I didn't feel like I was living my life.
"Why am I living and what am I doing?
What do I have to do here?
Why is that a good job and good salary
don't give me satisfaction?"
(To become a monk was her answer)
However, it still isn't easy to
read Buddhist scriptures.
(Wrong)
(Wash away)
(Wrong)
(All the suffering)
(Monk Jau appears)
(Wrong)
(Sin and the mind)
(Wrong)
(The true)
(They shouldn't be laughing)
(I can't help it)
(Wrong)
(Person)
(Wrong)
(Buddha)
Wait, it sounds really weird.
(Fixing the pronunciation first)
She has many things to overcome.
For you, if you chant fast, it'll be difficult.
You are doing it like this.
(Tapping the temple block without any rhythm)
People will be out of breath.
(Panting)
(The teacher gives a demonstration)
Give some rhythm
and then people can also follow the rhythm.
It will be more fun and interesting.
It's difficult to do it at the same time, right?
Hitting and reading...
I can't even think of the rhythm of the block.
She has a long and tough way to go
but she feels relieved thanks to her teacher.
Cheongjin wants to understand the scriptures completely
and realize the Buddha's teachings.
(Wants to understand the teachings of the Buddha)
How did she end up coming here?
She first learned about Buddhism in Thailand
where she went to learn mediation.
While working again in Hungary,
she met Monk Cheongan from Korea.
Cheongjin has found the answer to her suffering
through Buddhism in Korea.
She came to Korea to become a monk.
I had a very good washing machine
which was produced in Korea.
It's like a symbol.
I'm washing away all the dirtiest things and
I'm clearing my mind and heart in Korea
through Buddhism. So it's like a symbol for me.
Maybe I didn't choose Korea
maybe Korea chose me.
(Getting used to Korean culture)
In principle, a Buddhist ascetic is not supposed
to go out.
Where is she going that she's so excited?
(The temple is in the middle of Seoul)
Since the temple is in the middle of a city
she learns to take the public transportation
and she can observe the lifestyle of Koreans.
There are many people.
It's because it's time to go to work.
This is Gyeongbokgung.
It's really beautiful, right?
Kings and queens lived there.
Press the button.
Oh, we're late. We should hurry.
But monks shouldn't run.
Yes, I know.
I know that you have to walk fast.
(Buddhist store)
Oh, they came to get clothes for Cheongjin.
What's her Buddhist name?
- Cheongjin. / - Jongjin?
- Cheongjin. / - Jongjin?
- Cheongjin. / - Oh, Cheongjin.
She's an ascetic. She isn't a monk yet.
If we order her clothes...
- She has short arms. / - Right?
Usually foreign monks have long arms.
Who's going to come to get the clothes?
She should come and get it herself.
You think she can? She doesn't know the way.
She's very smart.
That doesn't have to do with being smart.
It must be flustering for her.
I hope so. I have to take the bus, right?
I'm not sure if she will be able to do it.
You are going to buy shoes as well?
- Do you have rubber shoes? / - Yes.
The white ones.
What size do you want?
A big one.
To take of the shoes from the mundane
and to wear rubber shoes
means to give up on luxury
and live a poor but honest life.
- How big are these? / - 260mm.
- Do you have 265mm? / - Yes.
265mm?
She has huge feet since she's a foreigner.
The black one is big and the white one is small.
What is she going to do?
It's better to take the white one.
The black one comes off very easily.
Then wear the white one and stretch it out?
Want to stretch it out?
What should we do?
Whatever it is, they can just laugh it off.
Today, you can try.
Just try.
(First step after getting ready to become a monk)
It's soft and comfortable.
I feel the floor under my feet.
Thank you, monk.
(Entering the world of asceticism)
Good-bye.
Gid-bye.
Good-bye.
- Good-bye? / - No.
There are so many ways.
Good-bye.
(The teacher wants her to experience Korea)
There's a reason why the teacher is
still letting Cheongjin stay in the world.
Usually a Buddhist ascetic is not allowed to
go out for about a year.
It's to help them get rid of their worldly habits.
But since she's not a Korean,
there could be a cultural shock.
I want her to get used to
the Korean culture, and Korean temple culture.
(Taking the bus alone for the first time)
I have to go to Jongno Police Station.
I'm not a big fan of big cities and traffic.
I'm more closer to nature, forests and mountains.
So I can find the way in the forest more easily.
Cheongjin used to live in a small city.
To her, Seoul is a big city
and thus it's more unfamiliar to her.
She's nervous and frustrated to
find the way that she's been just once.
(Should I get off now?)
(Or not?)
Jongno Police Station, is it the next station?
- Jongno Police Station? / - Thank you.
That's right. Ask if you don't know
and get used to it one by one.
Hello.
- Oh, you came! / - Yes.
They say an ascetic's luck goes away
if they wear new clothes instead of old clothes.
Cheongjin got her coat from someone
but she couldn't get the jacket
so she has to wear a new one.
Is this alright?
Cheongjin, now that you got a new jacket,
you should gather your luck and train harder.
Pity?
Petty?
It's pretty. Thank you.
We can't communicate.
It seems like she will have no problem
living in Korea.
I'm back.
I was worried about you.
It was simple. Everything was simple.
(Cheongjin is getting used to her life in Korea)
She's become smart now.
She's become smart.
(Getting rid of the suffering)
Shaving one's head, which is a part of monks' lives,
has another meaning.
In Buddhism, the hair symbolizes delusions.
So whenever you shave your hair,
you're getting rid of your delusions.
In Buddhism, hair is called "mumyeongcho,"
which means the grass of foolishness.
I think you have a lot of thoughts these days.
Really?
Yes, because you have red spots
which means you have a lot of thoughts.
It means that you're tired.
I'm learning a lot of things these days.
(Getting rid of the suffering)
- Finished. / - Thank you.
I'm sorry.
Today, we removed our delusions
and ignorance.
You should have that kind of time all the time.
It was hard to even spend a single day without
a worry in the world.
The more she tried to satisfy her desires,
the farther the happiness seemed.
She's happy now that she knows how to be satisfied.
(Realizing the abundance of the heart)
At the time I had some problem with my eyes.
I almost went blind.
I had some very serious problem.
I didn't find much happiness in my life at the time.
I get much more happiness from practicing dharma
and living in a temple.
(Seocho, Seoul)
They are going to a temple in the mountains.
There's a Buddhist university at Donghaksa.
You can learn Buddha's teachings there.
They also teach how to live together.
The hardest part in the practice
is to act together, and do everything together.
People are very individual in Western lives.
(Who will they meet there?)
It's hard to have a meal outside the temple.
You have to check what is inside.
I brought this. You can remove it with this.
Since it's forbidden to kill life in Buddhism,
they have to watch what they eat.
Would you like some?
(Mercy on living things)
It's really tasty.
The ancient temple Donghaksa
is located at the foot of Gyeryongsan.
(On their way to Donghaksa)
How will this rookie ascetic feel
when she meets Buddhist nuns
who already went through this road?
It's beautiful.
I like Korean mountains very much.
They have such good energy.
The ancient temple Donghaksa is
the very first Buddhist university for nuns in Korea.
To Cheongjin who hasn't declared the rules,
the elderly monk is very admirable.
Just visiting the elderly monk
makes her Buddhist beliefs get stronger.
Welcome.
It's the beginning.
Even the grass is putting its hands together
for you to successfully become a monk.
The trees, flowing water and the whole universe
is praying that she becomes a great monk.
Please tell her.
Thank you.
I would like to
practice and learn more about Buddhism.
This place feels very close to me
I got a very good first impression.
She must finish her life as an ascetic
to be able to enter the Buddhist university.
From freshmen to seniors,
everyone studies and lives together here.
Monk Jau also studied here in the past.
Now she teaches English for Buddhism.
(Introducing the future student)
She's an ascetic so please bow 3 times.
It seems like these monks are more nervous
to see a foreign ascetic.
I'm Cheongjin.
I feel happy.
We feel happy too.
(Thank you)
Please explain this.
Cheongjin is playing a huge role today.
Slowly.
Which hand do you use when you write something?
Right.
She asked which hand you use when you write.
Do you understand?
(Guessing is the best when it comes to English)
Body language.
(Flapping)
(We like her)
I wonder why you decided to become a nun in Korea.
I like the Korean Buddhist practice very much.
Korea has been practicing Buddhism
since hundreds of years ago
and they have their own culture.
So I'd like to practice more profoundly and deeper.
It's not easy.
I feel like I'm a baby in Korea.
Every day, I have the beginner's mind.
They seem like high school students.
It's Korean ice cream.
This is the first time.
The monks are very friendly.
Good.
I hope she stays here.
After you're done,
enter our university next year.
Welcome to Donghaksa.
(She's more firm now after seeing the nuns)
The monks study and go through Zen mediation
as a big community.
She resolves that
she won't be negligent of
practice and Zen mediation like the other monks.
(A silent resolution in the mountain temple)
(Serving others)
- $10. / - $10.
The blue one is $1.
How much is it?
- How much is it? / - And then you'll say.
"Bissayo" means expensive
and "ssayo" means cheap.
(Flustered)
You want to say expensive at the market?
No, I won't.
No, you can do it.
Sometimes the vegetable is so expensive.
I'm going to make bean paste soup.
This is the money for tofu.
I'm sorry.
(Friendly atmosphere)
Tofu is expensive.
Let's try it for real.
For spinach, $3 for 0.6kg.
- $3. / - Yes.
$5 for 1.2kg.
- Really? / - It's expensive.
It's expensive.
I don't know the price. I'm just asking.
Cheongjin has to prepare 3 meals a day.
Thank you.
Thank you.
This time, she's going to try making Korean food.
(That afternoon)
There is a reason why you must learn to cook
when you are an ascetic.
(Making all-time favorite, bean paste soup)
- Should I check the potato? / - Yes.
It's good I think. I think this is okay.
The food that Koreans enjoy the most
is bean paste soup.
I think it's bean paste soup and seaweed soup.
So she needs to know how to make those
in order to cook for other people.
Cooking is an ability to help others.
It looks great.
It looks so delicious, right?
She adds plenty of tofu
which she learned about after coming to Korea.
(Slurping)
For me, it's delicious.
It's her first time and she did a great job.
Cheongjin has been a vegetarian for 18 years.
So it wasn't hard for her to learn temple dishes.
It's so good.
- It's tasty. / - Is it?
It's so good.
Do you think you can make it by yourself?
By myself?
I think I can do it by myself. I'll try.
She used to have meals when it was time
and took her daily life for granted.
Now she feels thankful for everything.
As we live on offerings and donations
I think it's important to be thankful.
She donated money to buy tofu just now.
One day, I realized that I'm not myself.
I'm part of this cabbage
and part of this mushroom.
Cucumber and cabbage is inside me.
I'm not really me.
I exist thanks to everything's hard work
and care.
It makes me think again.
Every moment feels so precious.
These dishes...
They know how much effort and
hard work was put into the food they eat.
They don't leave even a single grain of rice.
(Understanding the charitable deeds in food)
As soon as I met Monk Jau,
I felt like I've known her for a long time.
She's like a good mother, friend and master.
To find a person with compassion and kindness
like Monk Jau in our busy and hard life
is very difficult. But it's very important.
The temple is open even on weekends.
Naturally, Cheongjin has no time to rest.
How long has it been since you did meditation?
Only like about a year ago.
But I need to meditate more.
Monk Jau has been teaching meditation
for foreigners for 11 years.
(Sitting on the floor is already a trouble)
Be aware of your breathing.
Bring your mind from outside to inside.
And you can catch this moment.
We will do this for 20 minutes.
This class is held to comfort foreigners
who are having a hard time in an unfamiliar land.
(Peeking)
You need to focus.
Oh, he got a cramp.
It isn't easy to sit on the floor.
(Painful)
20 minutes must feel like 2 hours to him.
Meanwhile, Cheongjin is very stable.
Some are tired, some are sleepy.
Meditating isn't easy as it seems.
(Tap)
Was it tiring?
(Stretching)
How was the meditation today?
It's quite difficult to sit like this for a long time.
(Meditating while walking)
We can't just think one thing
because we have too many thoughts.
And we act based on our emotions.
How about we stop thinking for a while
and take a look at our minds.
(Living with compassion)
There's another place she visits every weekend.
It's the nursing home where a helping hand
and a companion is needed.
Cheongjin is eager to help other people.
She learns about the mind to live for others.
How does it feel to help others sincerely?
Be merciful so that others' happiness
can become your own happiness.
(I'm happy when others are happy)
It's a good feeling to help each other.
I think that's the basics of our lives,
to give and share with others.
Sometimes, it's more important to
use the mind, than to use the body.
Sharing is not giving away something that is yours.
You actually gain a lot of from sharing.
Open up.
Open up.
The feeling of happiness when others are happy.
(Clapping)
Sharing is an ascetic practice
for an ascetic wanting to lead a merciful life.
Good-bye.
(The master monk's words)
It's the road Monk Jau walked on
to become a monk 25 years ago.
(What did she realize here?)
It's a special place for Cheongjin
who wants to be like her teacher.
Baekheungam is located deep in Palgongsan.
It's a place for Zen meditation for nuns
so outsiders are not allowed in the temple.
(They open only twice a year)
Outsiders are not allowed to come in.
Outsiders are not allowed to come in.
A monk with blue eyes is here.
This is your first foreigner pupil's pupil.
- Nice to meet you. / - Master monk, nice to meet you.
The master monk welcomes
her pupil's pupil with clear eyes.
May you attain Buddhahood.
Nice to meet you.
- She's from Hungary? / - Yes.
You took a plane and learned Korean.
I'm very thankful that you decided to
become a monk after all the trouble you went through.
(Thank you for understanding)
It's not something anyone can do.
Do you want to experience Zen meditation?
Yes.
She prays very hard.
She bows 300 times every morning.
Many foreign monks come to practice
but a lot of them go back to the world.
That's right.
I hope you remain as a monk
and not end up like that.
Yes, master monk.
I believe you'll do well.
I started a little late in age.
If she has any advice for me
I would be really thankful.
Become a better monk each day.
If you practice asceticism hard today,
you'll become a better ascetic the next day.
- Thank you. / - Can you do it?
We will remember what she said,
which is to forget yesterday and tomorrow
and live this very moment.
That's the toilet.
The monks have to come here every time?
Cheongjin, please read this.
- Haeuso. / - Haeuso.
It's bathroom.
It means to solve your worry.
Oh, it's easier than...
Hwajangsil.
It's so hard for me to remember.
Cheongjin, go in there and solve all your worries.
This kind of toilet still exists.
We had a similar one.
My grandpa had a similar one.
The kitchen god.
The god who protects the kitchen?
Even the teacher had a tough time
when she was an ascetic.
I was the only ascetic at the time.
So I had a really tough time.
I had to do many things all the time.
From 3 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sometimes we took firewood from the mountains.
That must've been tough.
It's 3 a.m.
The day of the mountain temple begins.
(The time when the Buddha achieved enlightenment)
The time when the Buddha achieved enlightenment.
She meditates to let go of the suffering
and fill herself with mercy and wisdom.
(A small enlightenment inside the heart)
This temple is very peaceful and
I would like to enjoy every moment here.
The rain has stopped
and it's a clear morning.
It's like the mind of Cheongjin.
It's a perfect day.
It is a perfect day.
I got to meet your teacher,
the master monk.
It was a big experience in my life.
There are 24 million people in Romania
and more 10 million people in Hungary.
And I'm the only one who can visit this temple.
So I think I'm a very lucky person.
Yes, you are. You're really lucky.
Thank you very much.
We hope you become a great monk
who knows to share one's wisdom and mercy.
(My Neighbor, Charles)
That's the end. And today,
Cheongjin's teacher, Monk Jau has come to the studio.
- Nice to meet you. / - Hello.
Welcome.
We saw the video and I see that you're so busy.
You have so many things to do.
You have to chant, clean, organize...
Isn't that a bit too much work for her pay?
How much do you pay her?
Why make her suffer?
We give her a lot.
Something that can't be bought with money.
(Enlightened)
Lowering oneself and being modest.
That's what she learns in the process.
If she doesn't learn that,
it'll be difficult for her to make others feel comfortable.
And that's something priceless.
I've changed a lot and I think
I'm changing every day.
What is good is that I can accept everything
is impermanent and I'm not attached.
I don't identify myself with anything.
I think that was the biggest change in me.
I realized that everything is imperfect.
In the past, I had to be perfect in everything.
In front of these two great people...
I feel that I'm very contaminated.
Yes, very. We are.
I'm sorry but shouldn't you say that it's okay?
"Yes, very."
Well, I mean it applies to me as well.
We should listen to her worry.
I wonder what kind of worry she has
since she's philosophical and endures everything.
- You shouldn't have a worry. / - I know.
- Let's see together. / -Yes.
(I want to become a monk)
Does that mean that...
You're in the process.
Why is that a worry?
If you study and proceed step by step,
don't you naturally become a monk?
In her case, she can't speak Korean right now.
She has to take a test,
but that test is in Korean.
She's studying hard
but she's worried if she can
pass the test.
I'm surprised to hear that there's a test.
I thought that she could become a monk
if she's done her training and is ready.
Taking a test is...
The first section is an essay.
The second section is
50 multiple choice questions
about the Buddhist doctrine.
And then they test how much
you practiced chanting.
They test everything.
Also, there's a test for the temple block.
What kind of test is that?
The way you hit the temple block
differs according to different chants.
Really? I didn't know about that.
How is it different?
The way you hit the temple block
differs according to different scriptures.
(I see)
For Avalokitesvara,
you have to tap like this.
The rhythm is like this.
For Prajnaparamita,
you have to tap like this.
You have to hit it according to the rhythm.
So if you fail, you have to take the test again.
There are 5 levels to this test.
- It's divided in levels? / - Yes.
That's stressful.
Even we are unfamiliar with
words related to Buddhism.
We are careful when we use it.
Isn't it difficult to learn these words?
You have to know Chinese characters as well.
In Hungary, we used to chant in Chinese.
Here, I have to learn it in Korean
so it's a bit difficult and different.
At first, I couldn't read the Chinese characters.
It was hard even when it was romanized.
I got used to the Korean version after 2, 3 months.
Chinese was also a very strange language for me.
I don't want to make it hard.
She has so many obstacles.
But she does it anyway
because she's supposed to do it.
It's amazing.
I'd be like, "It's so hard! I have a headache!"
I suggested to Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism
and they said it's okay to write the answer in English.
- Really? / - That's a relief.
That's a relief.
I feel so relieved.
You should've said it first.
If you become a monk,
do you want to continue living in Korea?
Two cultures, two people, two countries...
I think I can become the bridge.
Monk Jau was also a bridge for me in Korea
and in Europe, Monk Cheongan
was also a bridge for me.
He helped me to come to Korea.
I'm really grateful to both of them.
I hope I can help them somehow in the future.
We invited these two very precious people.
This is very rare.
Yes, it's hard to meet people like them.
Let's ask our own worries right now.
- Yes. / - You have a lot, right?
Let's ask them how to resolve
our worries one by one.
I'll be 40 years old next year in Korea.
You're that old?
When do you think I can get married?
- Please. / - They aren't fortune-tellers.
- That's right. / - They are monks.
Usually, I'd be really angry.
But thanks to them, I can keep myself calm.
The most important thing in Buddhism is
cause and effect.
If you want to get married,
you need to make an environment that
you have no choice but to get married.
You need a cause for a result.
But the problem for many people these days
is that they only want the results.
They don't try to make causes.
If you want an apple, you should take a close look
to see if you've planted apple seeds.
Then you can get rid of your suffering.
For me, I'm a workaholic.
Too much work, too many people...
I have to take care everything.
One day at night, I thought,
"Why am I living like this?
Why is there only a shell
but not me?"
It's a really good thing
to help others.
Helping others and making them happy is a good thing
but you are also a regular person.
You need to make yourself happy as well
and not just make others happy.
Keep in mind that yourself is
also a person to be taken care of.
Then I think you'll be okay.
I understand very well.
Korea is one of the countries
with the lowest happiness index.
We live in abundance and
we have very good condition.
I always wondered why we are always unhappy.
I think the Koreans are already happy.
They have the happiness, they just have to find it.
Everybody has the happiness. You just have to find it.
Don't compare yourself
and you should think that
you are doing your best,
you are to be respected and
you have a right to be happy.
I think you should think that way.
Today's My Neighbor, Charles
is a bit different from previous episodes.
We listened to other people's worries.
But I think this is okay too.
How will you continue your life as an ascetic?
Just doing what I have to do.
That's my main goal.
What I have to do, I will just do it.
And go straight ahead with
my teacher's guidance.
Living the very moment is very important for me.
We hope you pass all the tests.
You can do it, right? Let's go!
Thank you so much for being here with us today.
Thank you.
We will end here with reverence today.
- Good-bye. / - Good-bye!
Monk Jau.
1, 2.
Thank you.
Good-bye.

The Craziest Arpeggios & How You Make Beautiful Jazz Guitar Sounds With Them - Duration: 7:38.
(Jazz Guitar Arpeggios)
- Hi everybody, my name is Jens Larsen
and in this video, I'm going to talk about
some of the craziest arpeggios that I know.
If you're already subscribed to my channel,
then you probably know that I like to use
drop two voicings and shell voicings
and quartal harmony as arpeggios in my lines.
I'm always looking for new structures
that I can make some interesting melodies with.
In this video, I'm going to talk about
a type of arpeggios that I can came across
a few weeks ago, that I really like the sound of.
They have a very extended range
and I guess the sound kind of is,
reminding me of Allan Holdsworth or maybe Mark Turner,
which is something that I really like.
Since these arpeggios are constructed by
stacking different things on top of each other,
the easiest to talk about how they are made,
is probably just to show you some examples
and go over the different building
blocks that make up the arpeggios.
This line is basically just an A Minor
model type line and the first part of it is just,
messing around with a C Major 7 Arpeggio so that's,
(Jazz Guitar Music)
so it builds around this arpeggio.
Then I skip down and play the larger,
extended range arpeggio and that will be this.
(Jazz Guitar Music)
And what this is basically constructed out of is,
two things, first we have, the lower part
of the arpeggio which is an A Minor Open voiced triad so,
and then that's followed by an upper structure that's,
this quartal voicing from a quartal arpeggio from D.
And then from there I just, go down to B
and then up to E to end the line.
The idea is that our extended range arpeggio
has a lower and a higher part.
The lower part is closely related
to the chord that we're playing on,
in this case,
that's an A Minor triad because of the A Minor 7 chord.
And then, the other structure's giving all the extensions
and all the colors, and in this case,
that's quartal arpeggio from D.
(Jazz Guitar Music)
Which gives us an A Minor 7 with an 11 type sound in total.
(Jazz Guitar Music)
The second example is on a II V I on the key of G Major
and the A Minor part is pretty simple.
So it's just, a trial and then C Major 7 arpeggio
and then we get to the extended range arpeggio
on the D7 altered and that's this arpeggio.
And also, this arpeggio has two parts,
so the first part is this D7 drop2 voicing
which is a D7 flat five drop 2 voicing.
and then on top of that, I have an
other structure that's an F Minor triad in first version so.
So in total, we really get to this D altered sound,
but then again spread out over
two altered and a third
and then resolving back to the fifth of G Major 7.
In this example, I'm again, using
a II V I in a the key of G Major
and the extended range arpeggio is on the two chord
and this is the arpeggio.
So the two parts that's constructed of,
is first, the lower part which is a basic
A Minor 7, drop two voicing, so.
Again, firmly connected to the original sound of the chord.
And then, another structure which is this,
Bsus4 triad in an inversion.
And if you look at the extensions that we get from this
and the sound of the complete chord,
then we actually have an A Minor 7,
with a 13 and a nine, so we get this type of sound.
And then the line, I sort of take
that further on the D7 altered,
(Jazz Guitar Music)
with a line that's sort of coming out
of a triad pair of A Flat and
B Flat Major triads on the D7 altered.
A different way we can use these extended range arpeggios,
is to spread our changes in a chord melody arrangement.
Often, it can be kind of difficult on guitar
to really find voicings that have that specific sound
and will include all the notes that we need.
So, to illustrate this, here's the
beginning of Stella by Starlight.
(Stella By Starlight Chord Melody)
Using the arpeggios like this,
is a nice way to bring out certain sounds, of course.
But it's also nice to just have
another option and some variation
instead of just playing everything as chords
when you're playing a chord melody arrangement.
So, in the arrangement, I played an arpeggio
on the E half diminished and that will be this one.
What I'm playing here, is again, two parts.
So I have this, E diminished triad
and then two add some color on top of that
and have this Dsus4 triad up here.
And then I use the high D to go to the A7 voicing.
And then I play the melody,
then I actually sound the chords of C Minor 7 here
and then I have this C Minor 11 with a nine arpeggio.
That I use to transition to an F9.
The arpeggio that I'm using on the C Minor 7, so this one,
is sometimes referred to as the
Herbie Hancock Minor 11th Voicing, by the way.
I know a place that you can put these
extended range arpeggios to good use,
is if you're playing over a scale sound
that's polytonal in nature, so, for instance,
if we're playing over a
G Major 7 Sharp five chord like this one.
And I'm using the G augmented scale,
so that's the scale that's constructed out
of a G Major triad, an E Flat Major triad and B Major triad.
Then I could have a line like this,
(Jazz Guitar Music)
so what I'm playing here is, basically
a G Drop2 Major 7 voicing,
and then another structure that's found in that scale,
would be an E Flat Minor Major arpeggio,
so that's this arpeggio.
And then I'm resolving that by going
to the E and up to the F Sharp.
The fact that the augmented scale
has so many different colors on top of each chord,
means it's very practical to have an arpeggio
construction where we have a lower part
that's just spilling out the basic chord
and then a higher part that's a
completely different note set,
spilling out all the different colors on top of that chord.
If you want to check out how I got the idea
for this type of voicing and this type of course,
then you should check out this interview
with Jacob Collier, where he's done
singing some piano voicings to illustrate
what the sound is and how it moves
when you move from the lower to the higher octave.
I'll link to that interview
in the description of this video.

Risk vs. Reward? Case Study Part 2 - Duration: 7:45.
Here we are then, two weeks later.
Did my risk pay off with a big reward....
Hello everyone and welcome back to vidIQ for the concluding part of this case study: risk
v reward.
If you missed part one make sure to watch that first by clicking the link on screen
now.
To summarise I took the risk to invest time, energy and money covering an Android piece
of tech (A Samsung Galaxy S8) when my channel is predominately about Apple products such
as the iPhone.
The reward was to hit a trending topic with a killer video that would open the channel
up to an entirely new audience.
But things didn't start well.
Let's start with a comparison.
These are some videos I published for my target audience.
All of them with over 10,000 views and one even topping 60,000 which is a good video
for my channel.
Now before releasing the big Samsung Galaxy S8 video I was preparing I wanted to test
the waters with a few smaller videos and comparatively speaking two sank without a trace while the
other one still under-performed.
And if the stats aren't evidence enough, there's nothing like a good old Youtube Comment backlash....
I told you this wasn't going to work!
My regular subscribers were not happy people, one of them even noting the poor performance
of my Samsung Android Videos versus my Apple iOS videos.
But the vidIQ keyword research tool told me, if I wanted to make a tips video about the
Galaxy S8 now was the time.
And look at the potential reward, a video getting onto the first page of this search
term stands to gain thousands of views.
Take this as an example.
A channel with less than 600 subscribers got a 30,000 view video because they published
the video at the right time with the right tags, title and description.
So I stuck to my guns.
I just needed to create something that no one else could match.
Something unique yet helpful.
For three days I locked myself away and just filmed tip after tip, the list growing ever
longer - past 100, 125, 150.
Eventually I landed on 171 tips, unarguably the biggest guide to the hottest piece of
tech in the world at the end of April 2017.
As for the titles, tags and descriptions, well we've covered this many times before
but to narrow it down to two bullet points: research the best keywords and phrases using
vidIQ's extensive range of tools and then reinforce and repeat those terms as much as
possible.
Galaxy S8 tips Galaxy S8 Tips and tricks
Galaxy S8 Hidden Features Galaxy S8 Guide
Galaxy S8 Camera Galaxy S8 Plus tips
Galaxy S8 plus tips and tricks.
I like to call this area of Youtube the pitch to your potential audience and we talk about
it a lot more in a case study we did on a channel called CZsworld's that created a viral
video despite having less than 10,000 subscribers at the time.
So go check out that video for a lot more information.
But enough about CZs World.
This video's all about me, all about this device and this video.
How well did it do?
Here's the results.
First thing to note, being 171 tips this video was a long one.
At 57 minutes that may switch off a lot of people before they even click on the video,
but the length of the video is hugely important and we'll see why shortly.
Now for the timing.
I got my Galaxy S8 on pre-order launch day, the 17th April, filmed like crazy and released
my video just before midnight on the 19th April just when the keyword phrase Galaxy
S8 tips was reaching its peak.
The first two days were good with steady growth, but come the first weekend the video blew
up and for a good week afterwards it stayed above 10,000 views daily.
Things have settled down a little since then but it still comfortably gets more than 5,000
views a day.
Now I know what you're going to say, 10,000 views a day is good, but it's hardly viral.
But with a one hour video I was never going for millions of views I was always going for
millions of these.
Watchtime is the most important Youtube statistic, we've said this before and this video has
an average watchtime of 12:44.
So have a guess what those tens of thousands of views total up to in terms of watch time?
To date, viewers has spent a staggering four years 115 days watching this video.
Youtube loves videos that keep viewers on their website.
Simple as that.
The effect this video has had on my channel is phenomenal.
It currently accounts for 60% of my channel's entire watch time and and has tripled the
daily number of minutes watched.
The video has been liked more than 4,000 times, has pulled in more than 500 subscribers and
look at this statistic, nearly 10,000 people have added it to a playlist, presumably their
watch-later pool so that they can refer back to this video over and over again.
That's evergreen stickability.
So right now, if you search for Galaxy S8 Tips on Youtube you will find my video second.
Somedays it might be first or third, it jumps around depending on when other videos are
uploaded, but generally speaking you will find it at the top of the list.
As for my video tags well they pretty much rank all across the board expect for four.
Two of them are my channel name and they will change depending on when I upload new videos
and the other two are best smartphone 2017 and Galaxy S8, two very high volume tags that
are used by big Youtube channels as well so it's very difficult to break into that market.
So by focusing on an area that I could dominate and slightly smaller tags, not high volume,
but to still plenty of views to get there as I have proven, that was the secret to my
success.
A couple of final thoughts on the success of this video.
The numbers here prove once again that getting your content on the suggested videos section
of other videos is the biggest traffic source available.
And when you've hit it big with one video there's nothing wrong with milking the content
for all its worth.
These are videos I posted after the big one and they all faired much better, probably
thanks to all those new subscribers and viewers I gained.
So did the risk pay off?
Yes!
The Ultimate Guide To Galaxy S8 video will probably stick around gathering up views,
watchtime and subscribers until the Galaxy S9 is released and it will undoubtedly become
the most successful Youtube video I have ever made.
So what am I trying to tell you with all this?
Well like the very first videos I made with this green screen on vidIQ which, quite frankly,
were a bit rubbish but I've improved all the time, like the CZsWorld case study and the
risk that he took it's all about challenging yourself everytime you make a new video.
After all, if you never try, you'll never know.
If you have any questions about this video or the case study I'd love to hear them in
the comments below and if you have any success stories with the risks you took then let us
know.
Otherwise thank you very much for watching vidIQ and we'll see you all again very soon,
enjoy the rest of your day, bye for now.
OK now you've made the video which device so I actually want to use?

THE MEDIA COVERAGE ON SYRIA IS THE BIGGEST MEDIA LIE OF OUR TIME — INTERVIEW WITH FLEMISH PRIEST IN - Duration: 10:05.
THE MEDIA COVERAGE ON SYRIA IS THE BIGGEST MEDIA LIE OF OUR TIME INTERVIEW WITH FLEMISH
PRIEST IN SYRIA
BY ARJUN WALIAMAY
Whats unfolding in Syria is literally unbelievable.
News, pictures, and videos of bombings, chemical weapons attacks, and the deaths of innocent
people, among many other atrocities, have taken over mainstream media.
But with so much chaos and heartbreak happening on the planet, there exists the opportunity
for people to wake up and see through the lies being presented to them through mainstream
media.
Once we do this, and we are in the process of it right now, we can let go of these horrible
experiences and create a new one for humanity.
One thing is for certain ignorance is definitely not the answer.
The answer to all of this fake news we see is, as Edward Snowden has pointed out,
is critical thinking not blindly believing our television but turning it off instead,
doing our own research and thinking for ourselves.
The answer is not censorship.
The amount of information thats now available in the public domain that completely counters
the Western mainstream medias narrative on a variety of topics is abundant, the evidence
is clearly out there.
The only problem is, were never presented with it, we never see it, and therefore many
people consider several truths as mere conspiracy theories, which is a big problem.
One of the most recent examples with regards to the conflict in Syria came from Russian
President Vladimir Putin, who revealed that the recent chemical attack in Syria was a
false flag and more are being prepared in Syria.
You can read more about that here.
False flag terrorism refers to when a crisis is created by the same entities who propose
the solution.
9/11, for example, was instigated in order to justify the invasion of the Middle East,
just like whats happening in Syria right now, and perhaps Irans supposed nuclear
program, too.
After all, the connections between ISIS and the Western military alliance are quite strong.
Various documents leaked by Wikileaks, as well as a number of political whistleblowers
from around the world, have expressed these concerns.
The Syrian governments top political and media advisor has also made this clear, which
you can read more about here.
Even the Syrian president said that the U.S. is hand in glove with the terrorists,
and that most of what we see is fabricated.
You can read more about that here.
In order to decipher fact from fiction, we must examine the political narratives from
the East and West and compare these with our own independent research and critical thinking.
Constantly relying solely on our televisions or the intel from mainstream media networks
leaves our minds and perception of global events vulnerable to manipulation.

Father Danil Maes
The latest to express this sentiment is Father Danil Maes, a 78-year-old man who lives
in Syria approximately 90 kilometers north of the capital, Damascus.
Hes been a witness to the ongoing war thats plagued the region for years, and claims that
Western reports on the conflict in Syria are very misleading.
The Americans and their allies want to completely ruin the country, he says.
Below is an interview with him that was published by The Ron Paul Institute For Peace and Prosperity
that goes into more detail:
Interviewer: You are very critical of the media coverage on Syria.
What is bothering you?
Father Daniel: The idea that a popular uprising took place against President Assad
is completely false.
Ive been in Qara since 2010 and I have seen with my own eyes how agitators from outside
Syria organized protests against the government and recruited young people.
That was filmed and aired by Al Jazeera to give the impression that a rebellion was taking
place.
Murders were committed by foreign terrorists, against the Sunni and Christian communities,
in an effort to sow religious and ethnic discord among the Syrian people.
While in my experience, the Syrian people were actually very united.
Before the war, this was a harmonious country: a secular state in which different religious
communities lived side by side peacefully.
There was hardly any poverty, education was free, and health care was good.
It was only not possible to freely express your political views.
But most people did not care about that.
Interviewer: Mother Agns-Mariam, of your Mar Yakub (Saint Jacob) monastery, is
accused of siding with the regime.
She has friends at the highest level.
Father Daniel: Mother Agns-Mariam helps the population: she has recently opened a
soup kitchen in Aleppo, where 25,000 meals are prepared five times a week.
Look, it is miraculous that we are still alive.
We owe that to the army of Assads government and to Vladimir Putin, because he decided
to intervene when the rebels threatened to take power.
When thousands of terrorists settled in Qara, we became afraid for our lives.
They came from the Gulf States, Saudi Arabia, Europe, Turkey, Libya, there were many Chechens.
They formed a foreign occupation force, all allied to al-Qaeda and other terrorists.
Armed to the teeth by the West and their allies with the intention to act against us, they
literally said: This country belongs to us now. Often, they were drugged, they
fought each other, in the evening they fired randomly.
We had to hide in the crypts of the monastery for a long time.
When the Syrian army chased them away, everybody was happy: the Syrian citizens because they
hate the foreign rebels, and we because peace had returned.
Interviewer: You say that the Syrian Army protects civilians, yet there are all sorts
of reports about war crimes committed by Assads forces, such as the bombardments with barrel
bombs.
Father Daniel: Do you not know that the media coverage on Syria is the biggest media
lie of our time?
They have sold pure nonsense about Assad.
It was actually the rebels who plundered and killed.
Do you think that the Syrian people are stupid?
Do you think those people were forced to cheer for Assad and Putin?
It is the Americans who have a hand in all of this, for pipelines and natural resources
in this region and to thwart Putin.
Saudi Arabia and Qatar want to establish a Sunni state in Syria, without religious freedom.
Therefore, Assad must go.
You know, when the Syrian army was preparing for the battle in Aleppo, Muslim soldiers
came to me to be blessed.
Between ordinary Muslims and Christians, there is no problem.
It is those radical Islamic, Western-backed rebels who want to massacre us.
They are all al Qaeda and IS.
There are not any moderate fighters anymore.
Interviewer: You once mentioned Hillary Clinton to be a devil in holy water, because
as Secretary of State she deliberately worsened the conflict.
Father Daniel: I am happy with Trump.
He sees what every normal person understands: That the United States should stop undermining
countries which possess natural resources.
The Americans attempt to impose a unipolar world is the biggest problem.
Trump understands that radical Islam is a bigger threat than Russia.
What do I care whether he occasionally takes off his pants?
If Trump practices geopolitics the way he has promised to do so, then the future looks
bright.
Then it will become similar to Putins approach.
And hopefully then, there will be a solution for Syria, and peace will return.
Interviewer: You understand that your analysis is controversial and will encounter much criticism?
Father Daniel: I speak from personal observation.
And no one has to believe me, right?
But I know one thing: The media can either contribute to the massacre of the Syrian people
or help the Syrian people, with their media coverage.
Unfortunately, there are too many followers and cowards among journalists.
