People around the world know who he is.
Will Smith makes movies that make a lot of money.
Now here's a little trivia for you guys.
During the peak of his popularity, he was on top. (during his hip hop days)
He had so much money!
Unfortunately, 20-year old Will Smith was broke.
He was terrible with money.
When I was 20 years old, I wasn't good with money either so i'm not picking on him.
By 1990, He owed $2.8 million in back taxes!
That's a lot of money!
Lucky for Will, legendary producer Quincy Jones took interest in him and said "I want to make a TV show based on who you are".
The rest is history.
Quincy Jones helped Michael Jackson with his first three (solo) albums.
That's how important Quincy Jones is in the entertainment industry.
What's the name of the TV show they had? The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.
It's called that because Will Smith's rapper name is The Fresh Prince.
It's a show about Will's move from the hard streets of west Philadelphia to a rich neighborhood in Los Angeles called Bel-Air (in California).
Will's mother was raising him by herself so she asked her sister and brother-in-law to help him out.
Move him to a better location and move him to a better life.
Will lives with his Aunt Vivian, his stern but fair Uncle Phil, and his cousins Ashley, Hillary, and Carlton.
The show has been off for 21 years but people still watch the show and still do things from the show.
When you look at it, it'll make you laugh all the time.
There were a few times where it made you cry and think too.
Most times, you'll laugh.
What many in Asia don't know is this is Will's first major acting role.
I wanted to share this show with the people of Seoul and introduce them to the show and get their thoughts on it.

I'm gonna get through college without him, I'm gonna get a great job without him
I'm gonna marry me a beautiful honey, and I'm-a have me a whole bunch of kids.
I'll be a better father than he *ever* was. And I sure as hell don't need him for that, 'cause there ain't a *damn* thing he can ever teach me about how to love my kids!

The part where the uncle and Will hug each other was very emotional for me. I could feel how much they really loved each other and how much Will wanted to be with his dad.
It's very touching. I think Will Smith [wanted to continue to have a] relationship with his father.
It doesn't happen. His dad never comes back.
-Really? Why? -He just doesn't.
Very sad.
That scene made a lot of people in America cry.
Would that have made you cry?

I can't understand everything that's said but I feel empathy [for Will]. It's emotional!

It's an old hip hop song. It's called Apache. (Apache was a song from the hip hop group Sugar Hill Gang. They're responsible for the first hip hop song in history called "Rapper's Delight")

That was funny! I know that dance so well. It's the first step to hip circle. (Don't ask cause I don't know what that is)
