THIS NEEDS TO STOP (*surprise*, it's another HUGE book haul...) - Duration: 10:56.

Hi guys, I've got a book haul today because I

am in a reading slump and for some

reason, my brain has kind of taken that

fact and used it as an excuse to buy

even more books. I have picked up some

books that I'm really looking forward to

and I'm really excited about but also I

have bought far too many books. Just in

general but especially for someone that

currently isn't really reading all that

much but as I said, I am excited about

books and I have picked up and I'm

looking forward to reading them, in

thirty, three hundred years, who knows.

When I'm eventually, hopefully out of

this slump. So today I just thought I would

show you the ones that I have picked up.

The first book I have is one that I have

actually already read but that was a

couple of months ago, when I wasn't in

this reading slump and that is 'Doing It!'

by Hannah Witton and I received an e-ARC

for this and I just enjoyed it enough

that I wanted to get a physical copy of

it and I do have a full review for this on

my channel, so I will leave a link to that in

the description box below if you would

like to hear all of my thoughts on it

but I thought this is fantastic.

I absolutely loved it. It's all about sex and

relationships and it was just fantastic.

So yeah, 'Doing It!' by Hannah Witton, it was great.

Next I have 'Mad Girl. A Happy Life With a Mixed Up Mind'

by Bryony Gordon and I picked this up after listening to her

podcast with Prince Harry, probably about

three hundred times. Prince Harry talking about mental

health and mental illness is my new

favourite thing in the entire world.

But she sounded really interesting and this

is her kind of memoir autobiography type

thing, talking about her journey with

mental illness and specifically OCD and

I just thought it sounded really

interesting and she seemed really lovely,

so I thought I'd pick this up and see

what it's like because I have not read

any kind of autobiography or nonfiction

about mental health. So considering

that I had already heard her talking

about it a little bit, this seemed like a

good place to start. I then also picked

up 'Wonder Woman' written by Sam Maggs

and illustrated by Sofia Foster-Dimino

and I have had my eye on this for

literally months and it's a collection

all about different women throughout

history and I absolutely love learning

about history but specifically

individuals throughout history and even

more specifically, women throughout

history and this just sounds fantastic.

It says it's about twenty five innovators,

inventors and trailblazers who changed

history. And I only know about a couple

of the women in this, so I'm really

excited to pick this up and there are

some really awesome illustrations in it.

So I'm excited about this and I'm so

happy that I finally let myself buy it

because it just sounds absolutely fantastic.

I finally got my copy of 'The Hate You Give'

by Angie Thomas and I ordered this

absolutely ages ago and I ordered the US

edition, thinking that it would arrive in

time and before the UK edition came out

because I just wanted to read it as soon as possible

but it turns out that was completely

pointless because this arrived about

two weeks after the UK edition was

released. This was inspired by the black

lives movement and I've heard just the

most wonderful things about it. So I'm

very much looking forward to this and

I'm hoping that I'm going to pick it up

as soon as possible, whenever this slump finally goes.

Next I have 'By Your Side'

by Kasie West and this is about a girl

that gets trapped in a library for the

weekend with a guy and that is all I

know about it but it sounds like a dream

I have probably had, getting trapped in a

library for a weekend. I've also heard

that the main character and this is

suffering with anxiety, so I'm really

excited to see how that is represented

and especially represented in this kind

of situation. So yeah, I'm really looking

forward to this because as I said I have

no doubt that I have dreamt the plot

of this book at some point. I also have

'Always and Forever, Lara Jean' by Jenny Han,

which is the third and I'm now

assuming final book in the 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before'

now trilogy. I'm so used to calling it a

duology and I'm so looking forward to this.

I absolutely adore the first two

books in this trilogy and yeah, this is on my

TBR for this month, so I'm hoping that I will, fingers crossed,

get around to reading it. Another book

that is also on my TBR for this month is

'The Upside of Unrequited' by Becky Albertalli

and I think that this may

possibly be the book, out of this whole haul,

that I am most looking forward to

because it just sounds fantastic and I

really don't know much about it but from

what I have heard about it, it kind of

just sounds like everything I'm looking

for in a book and everything I would

absolutely love and want from a book and I'm

really, really hoping that this is as

fantastic as everybody is saying it is

because I've heard so many wonderful

things about it and especially the

diversity in it and kind of how

inclusive it is. I am very, very much

looking forward to picking this up and

I'm really hoping that I do get around

to reading it this month because I'm

just so excited for it.

Ink Road publishing then very kindly

sent me a copy of 'The Jungle' by Pooja Puri

and all I know about this is that

it is set in a refugee camp in Calais

and that is unlike anything I've read

before, simply because of how current it

is. So it sounds really interesting.

I then have 'History Is All You Left Me'

by Adam Silvera and I've never read

anything by Adam Silvera before, which is just kind of

ridiculous considering how many

wonderful things I've heard about his books.

So I'm really looking forward to picking

this up and finally reading something

from Adam Silvera because as I said, I've

only heard the most amazing things.

And I follow him on Twitter and he just seems

like such a nice person.

Next I have 'Geekerella' by Ashley Poston

and this I believe is a modern-day

Cinderella retelling, where Cinderella is

working at a food truck at a ComicCon

convention kind of thing and then the

Prince is an actor in her favourite show.

It just sounds fantastic and I am so

excited about this because I absolutely

love fairytale retellings, they're some of

my favourite things to read and also

anything slightly nerd or fandom related,

just warms my little geek heart and I'm

so looking forward to it and also to

make things even better, there is a dog

on a front cover, which automatically

makes me ridiculously happy. So I'm very,

very much looking forward to picking this up.

I then have 'A Tragic Kind of Wonderful' by Eric Lindstrom and all I

know about this is that the main

character is living with bipolar and that

is something I've never read about in a

main character before, so I'm really

looking forward to reading that and I'm

hoping that it is done well but apart

from that, I really don't know anything

about this book. So I'm hoping that I

enjoy the plot of it because I have no clue what this is about.

I then have a book that I was really excited

about it when I first picked it up

because there was so much hype

surrounding the release and now I've

heard some very kind of questionable

things about the plot. So I don't quite

know how to feel about it and that is

'Caraval' by Stephanie Garber. I have now heard

some things that made me not that

excited about this, so I don't really

know whether I will read this. I don't know, I

need to read a couple more reviews and

kind of see where people stand on it but

I have it and also it is absolutely

stunning and there is the most gorgeous

map inside the front cover and then this

gold foil hat type thing in the inside. So yes, it's a

gorgeous book but I don't quite know how

I feel about it. I then have 'Heartless'

by Marissa Meyer which is one I am

so, so excited about and I've been

wanting to read this for forever and a day.

I believe it is a kind of 'Alice in Wonderland'

prequel, following the Queen

of Hearts and that's all I know about

the plot of it because I've somehow

managed to avoid any kind of spoiler and

I absolutely love 'The Lunar Chronicles'.

It is one of my favourite series and that

is also written by Marissa Meyer and as I said before, I absolutely

love fairytale retellings and I really

enjoy Marissa Meyers writing, so I have high

hopes for this and I'm really hoping

that I'm not going to be disappointed

because I am so excited about it and

also I absolutely adore the cover.

I also picked up 'On The Other Side'

by Carrie Hope Fletcher and I love Carrie,

she's one of my favourite youtubers.

I think she's one of the first

youtubers I ever watched and I really

enjoyed her first book, so I'm excited

about this. I don't really know too much

about it, other than I think it's this

kind of magical realism about someone

that dies and is stuck in kind of

limbo and has to complete something

before they can go to heaven. I may be

completely wrong about that but that is

kind of the idea that I've picked up on.

I think I'm wrong but I'm really looking

forward to this. I really enjoy Carrie's

writing and I'm excited to read some of her fiction

because that is something I haven't read before.

I also picked up 'Crooked Kingdom' by Leigh Bardugo and I picked this

up because it was about £3

in the supermarket. I haven't read

'Six of Crows' yet. I really, really want to

because I've heard so many fantastic

things about it but I haven't read it.

I don't even own it. I haven't even

finished 'The Grisha Trilogy' yet, which

I need to do as soon as possible. But I

knew that I definitely really wanted to

get around to reading this at some point

in the future, who knows when but I knew

I definitely wanted to, so I thought I

couldn't miss out on getting it for

£3 instead of waiting and then

ending up getting it for £8 or

something like that. So I have this.

Rock the Boat then very kindly sent me

a proof for 'City of Saints and Thieves'

by Natalie C. Anderson and this was one of my

most highly anticipated releases for the

whole year because it just sounds

so fantastic and it's basically a thriller

revenge story set in Kenya and I love

thrillers but I haven't read any in such

a long time. So I'm really looking

forward to this and yeah it just sounds

absolutely brilliant and I believe that

this is being released in June.

If 'By Your Side' sounded like a dream I

probably had, this is a nightmare

I am 99.9% certain I have had and this

is 'This Is Not a Test' by Courtney Summers

and it is about a girl that gets trapped

in her high school with some classmates,

during the zombie apocalypse and I know

I have dreamt at some point. Especially

considering the amount of zombie shows I

consume and the fact that I wasn't

the biggest fan of high school and it

just sounds so fantastic, I'm so looking

forward to this. This again I think is

one of the ones I'm most looking forward

to reading out of all of the books I have

and also I believe the main character in

this is suffering with depression, which

I'm really intrigued to see how that is

integrated into the plot. I want to

get to it as soon as possible because it

sounds absolutely fantastic and like

something I will absolutely love and

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I do.

'The Princess Saves Herself in This One'

is a poetry collection by a Amanda Lovelace

that I've been wanting to pick up for

absolutely ages because I've heard the most

wonderful things about it and I've now

read a couple of the poems in it and

honestly, I am already completely and

utterly in love with this book. And last

but not least I have 'Pride and Prejudice'

by Jane Austen, which I have never

ever read. Nor have I watched any of the

movies or the TV shows because I've

always said that I wanted to read the book

before I watched it. So I think I am the

only person on the planet, that doesn't

actually really know what

'Pride and Prejudice' is about. So I'm looking

forward to reading this and finally

knowing what all the fuss is about

because at the moment the only thing

honestly I kind of know about it, is that

at some point Collin Firth as Mr. Darcy

comes out of a lake and is wearing a wet

white t-shirt, that's all I know. So I'm

looking forward to finally reading this

and not being the only person on the

planet that doesn't really know what

'Pride and Prejudice' is about. So those are

all of the books that I picked up over

the past couple of months. I would

absolutely love to know if you have read

any of these and what you thought of

them or if you thinking about reading

any of them, I would really love to know

and also I would be extremely interested

to know if when you are in a reading

slump, do you buy more or less books because

I tend to buy far too many books. I buy

so many books when I'm in a reading

slump and it just on one hand makes it

so much worse because my TBR then get

overwhelming and intimidating but on the

other hand it makes me so much more

excited about reading because I have so

many new fantastic books that I'm

excited about, so I don't know.

It's all a mess, it's all a complete mess up in here.

But that is basically it. I will leave the

links to my Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr,

Goodreads, Blog and Snapchat in the

description box below to feel free to follow

me on anything if you would like and I

just hope you're having the most

wonderful day. Bye!

Tres Leches Cake | How to Make a Tres Leches Cake - Duration: 4:42.

hey everyone it's James from fun foods and

today I'm going to make this tres leche

cake which means three melt cake in

Spanish now I've never had this cake

before but so many of you have requested

that make it so I decided to do that so

keep watching and I'll show you step by

step how to make this now the first

thing you wanna do is start with a

medium bowl and one and a half cups of

flour also one teaspoon of baking powder

and you just want to whisk this all

together

and just take this bowl set it aside

we'll come right back to it next in a

large bowl we have a half a cup of

butter this is softened butter and

we'll add to that one cup of sugar and

I'm just going to cream this together

okay after thats creamed together we are

going to start adding our eggs there's

five eggs here I'm going to add just

like two at a time then we can add one

teaspoon of vanilla extract

now we can bring back our flour mixture

and we're going to add a little bit at a

time not too much about the quarter of

it

now take a 13 by 9 inch pan and grease

it and then turn your batter out into

the pan and just spread it out evenly

now just take this put this in the oven

at 350 degrees for about a half-hour now

what we need to do is have a medium bowl

I'm going to add to that two cups of

whole milk and twelve ounces of

evaporated milk and 14 ounces of

sweetened condensed milk you can just

combine all this mix it up really good

and this is going to be our milk mixture

now we just take this set this aside for

a minute when your cake is done baking

now just let it cool completely and then

next what we're going to do is take a

fork we're just going to pierce it and

we're going to go pretty deep in every

couple inches and that's pretty good now

we're just going to take our milk

mixture we're going to slowly pour that

over top of the cake and just let it seep in

to make our frosting we're going to need

a large bowl we're going to need a cup

and a half of heavy whipping cream

you're also going to need about a

teaspoon of vanilla extract we just want

to whisk this up on high and after about

a man you want to start slowly adding

some sugar to it so I have a cup of

sugar but I'm only gonna add about half

at a time and this is going to be our

frosting it should be nice fluffy and of

course a frosting texture now we come

back to our cake and all that milk has

seeped into our cake really good so it

should be nice and moist as you can see

if you just touch it now we're just

going to spread the frosting across the

top now I'm going to decorate this with

some maraschino cherries well now it's

time to taste that I'm going to give

this a try I've never had it before but

people have said it's amazing so here

goes nothing

it's good it has the moistness of the

cake with all those layers of milk in

there and this is really really good so

thanks again for requesting this well

thanks everyone for watching I hope you

enjoyed watching me make this tres leche

cake it was a lot of fun doing it and

I've tried it for the first time and

it's absolutely amazing so thanks so

much for all the requests to make this I

Major, this is not a scientific exercise. Let's just focus on arming it, all right?

Yes, sir.

Oh, yes!

Oh, yes, yes, yes.

Is it my birthday?

You got it. What did you do? What did you do?

- Is this what I think it is? - Yes, it is.

Hammer, I want to know what you're gonna do for us.

What am I going to do for you?

Well, the first thing I'm gonna do for you is I'm gonna upgrade your software.

- And then, second, I think I should... - That's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about firepower.

Well, you're talking to the right guy.

Claridge Hi-Tec, semi-automatic, 9mm pistol.

Too downtown? I agree.

You know what? You're not a hunter.

What am I talking about? I'm getting rid of it.

This is the FN-2000 from Belgium.

They do make something better than waffles.

It's beautiful, but I can tell this isn't disco enough for you,

so I'm gonna put it right here.

You're looking at a Milkor 40mm grenade launcher.

Tear gas, smoke. Hippie control.

You're tough.

Let me tell you something. Size does matter.

Don't let anyone tell you different.

This is an M1347.62 Minigun.

Six individual barrels. The torso taker, powder maker.

Our boys in uniform call it Uncle Gazpacho,

or Puff the Magic Dragon.

Okay.

These are the Cubans, baby. This is the Cohibas, the Montecristos.

This is a kinetic-kill, side-winder vehicle

A book that would make Ulysses look like it was written in crayon.

It would read it to you.

This is my Eiffel Tower.

This is my Rachmaninoff's Third. Pieta.

It's completely elegant. It's bafflingly beautiful.

It's capable of reducing the population of any standing structure to zero.

I call it the Ex-Wife.

That's the best I got.

Are we gonna do this? Give me something here.

- You're like a sphinx. I can't read you. - I think I'll take it.

- Which one? - All of it.

All of it.(Thanks for Watching,CoolestClips4K)

Think big. - Duration: 3:31.

Think big

The world is changing.

Sometimes those changes are barely visible, sometimes they're profound.

We can't stop them and as much as we'd like to think otherwise, we can't always predict them.

The only thing we can be sure of is that change is constant.

It's as true today as it was 130 years ago when seven ordinary men gathered on a small,

parched plot of ground near Broken Hill and dared to think big.

The company they created that day helped change Australia forever and created jobs, wealth

and prosperity for the generations who followed them.

So much so it became known as 'The Big Australian'.

Today, the same hard work and imagination, so valued by our founders, has lead us to

become a global resources company.

We produce or market iron ore, coal, copper, oil and gas and we do it from Australia to

South America, from North America to Asia, from Europe to the Caribbean.

But more importantly, the world needs the resources we produce, it needs them to help

build new cities, to help provide cleaner, renewable energy that can power whole communities

and to help provide developing nations the resources they need to give their people a

better chance of a better life.

"Something to be proud of".

That's what we do, that's what you do, you make a difference.

It's why we should never stop thinking about how we can ensure every one of us goes home

safe everyday.

"You gotta' think big picture.

The world is changing, we gotta' change with it".

It's why innovation and creativity are part of everyone's job description.

It's why it's more important than ever we continue to think big.

Because what we do, what you do, helps drive economic growth, and creates jobs wherever we work.

It's helps make the communities we're privileged to be part of, better.

"We care about our communities and our customers to help them grow".

It helps give people hope of a better future.

Not everything we do will be perfect; our resolve will be tested.

Even our values.

In a world that seems more difficult and unpredictable by the day, it is tempting to sit back, to

think inwardly, to think small.

But that's not what we're about, it never has been.

Just as the world is relying on the resources we produce, it must know it can rely on the

values we bring to producing them.

Today the world needs people who think bravely, think creatively and bring the best of themselves

to what they do.

It needs people who think big.

This is who we are and this is what we do.

Imagine what we could achieve next if we continue to think big.

Americans Pronounce Welsh Town Names | INSANELY DIFFICULT | Longest in the World - Duration: 4:42.

Eglwysfach

Did you say******?

Eglwysfach

An eagle wise f**k.

What's up? We're the Vagabrothers,

and we are on a two week road

trip through Wales.

Welsh is an ancient language

unrelated to English, and this is our

attempt at pronouncing Welsh town names.

May the best brother win!

Ffynnon-Groes Crosswell

Comins Coch

Canolfan Gweithgarwch Llain

Feidr Tywod

I know we sound Irish or Scottish, or

something. We're just ignorant.

Derwen-gam Oakford

Mydroilyn

Pontgarreg Llangrannog

Maybe like Spanish...a double "L"

is a "Y". Llangrannog

Brynhoffnant

I said Brynhoffnant

Not bad. Brynhoffant

Brynhoffant. Got it. Cheers.

Have a good day.

We're getting better at this.

We're getting better.

Cerrig-ydrudion

Bala. I got that one. Bala

P-W-L-L-G-L-A-S

Pwllglas

Ruthin Rhuthun

That's the sign right there.

Look at it. People taking names

next to.....

We have made it to

the world's longest town name,

which translated into English goes a

little something like this

The Church of Mary in the Hollow

of the White Hazel Near the Fierce

Whirlpool and the Church of St

Tysilio by the Red Cave.

Now there is a guy who can

pronounce this, who doesn't speak

Welsh.

He's a total G.

This video has gone viral.

You've probably seen it

It's the newscaster.

"Just up the road>>>>>>>"

Let's go tackle it. Let's try.

We're going to give it a good shot.

Let's go.

It should be noted that this town

totally renamed this place for the

purpose of marketing,

and that they have the town name

written on this mall.

When you put it into Google Maps,

it takes you directly to the shopping center.

I think that we should check out the

shopping center just out of curiosity.

Let's change the name, make it

ridiculously long and unpronounceable

and people will come to the mall.

Honestly, it's worked.

Mark, are you going to buy something?

It's working. Damn you, marketing.

Ever the nerd, I have bought a cheat

sheet [Dude, cheating] with the

transcription. Even then it's still

hard because apparently the double "L"

are a----- sound.

I'm going to give it a shot. Let's go.

LLANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLLGOGERYCHWYRNDROTYSILLIOGOGOGOCH

Yes.

Ladies, Gentlemen, Friends, Vagabuddies,

and all of you watching from Wales,

we did our best, honestly.

You have a beautiful language.

We love Welsh culture,

and we're going to continue to practice

our Welsh pronunciation.

If you enjoyed this video, if you have

any tips, make sure you put it down in

the comment section.

If you liked the video, give it a thumbs-up,

share it with your friends, tag your friends

whom you think might be able to

pronounce this, subscribe , and turn on

notifications.

Don't forget...this is something we filmed

while we were doing a week-long

road trip through Wales.

If you want to see the full series,

there're five more videos that we put

on our YouTube channel about our

trip through Wales.

You can click on the card up there

to watch the full series.

Thanks for watching. In the meantime,

stay curious, keep exploring,

and we'll see you guys on the road.

Peace.
