Is this simple enough? | Bobby Puckett - Duration: 1:51.

And we're back.

I made this after working 10 hours straight with one 30 min break.

Not complaining.

Just you can see kinda how my brain operates after something like that.

It's like I had a pan-galactic gargo blaster.

Then my brains were squished out by a brick wrapped in lemon

BASSLINE

I recently watch a long video about mastering from Omoi.

So if you notice these tracks are louder...

...that's good probably.

There's always a trade off between "quality" and "loudness"

You make your tracks quality for yourself and loud for everyone listening.

Course that's silly to say.

Because if people want "loud" then "loud" must equal "quality"

I'm afraid of being stuck.

Like... I don't want to stop producing "quality" music.

Enjoy :)

Will We Be On YouTube In 5 Years?! | Chatty GRWM ft. @justcallmewah - Duration: 9:57.

- Hey YouTube world, it's me Evelyn.

We're here in Palm Springs with,

- Wahima, but just call me Wah.

- Melanated! We are going to collab.

We are going to get ready with me.

We're gonna GRWM, We're gonna GRWM,

and we're gonna talk about stuff.

I don't really bring much stuff with me when I travel.

So really all I have to put on my face is a sunscreen.

(laughs)

Are you seeing this?

- I'm gonna start out with Angel Veil primer

by Nyx cause I've just been

the most greasy in this forehead area.

- Tell us about you.

(laughs)

- Okay, my channel is, originally was a beauty channel

called Dark-Skinned Divas, I saw that there was a space

that needed to be filled by darker skinned black women

on YouTube who are proud of being dark-skinned,

and who didn't see makeup and dark skin

as like a little bit of a challenge.

Find brands and do things.

- Chapstick.

(laughs)

- I'm not, I just, okay, then I decided

that I had so much more to say, 'cause I'm an actress.

Alright, so I started adding social,

social issues and current event issues to my channel.

- Ooh what's that?

- Oh, this is Cover FX.

(laughs)

- Translucent powder, it's a trick I got from Jackie Aina,

because I'm like extra, extra oily in this forehead.

- So I'm just using the Glossier skin tint

in "Rich", which is the darkest color.

People always ask what my skin care routine is.

They never ask what makeup I'm wearing, just my skin care.

- This is Laura Mercier cushion,

and this is in the color "555 Suede C",

it's the darkest one, it's the miracle cushion.

- Do you see yourself still being on YouTube in five years?

- Yes and no, but I would hope to get to a place

where I'm making money on YouTube, or making a little money.

It's not my ultimate goal to be a YouTuber forever.

I wanna be an actress, so creating this channel

is something that has allowed me to showcase

the many different sides of me,

without shutting myself into a box,

that happens a lot to actors.

- Do you tell people, do people

on your YouTube channel know how old you are?

- I think some of them do, but I think some of them

willfully choose to like ignore it

when I tell them how old I am.

- So when we talk about "In five years

"will you still be doing Youtube?"

Do you wanna tell people how old you will be in five years?

- Oh yes, so the answer, when I think about that

in reference to my age, hell no.

(laughs)

Like it's a, like no!

(laughs)

I will be 35 in October, so in five years

I will be 39, 40 son so.

- Melanin! Come through!

(laughs)

- No shade to the women who are 40 who are on YouTube,

but I'm like, I'm sure they're a lot further along

in their career or their lives,

and I'm at a place where like,

I need my career to be fruitful.

- Oh we're on brows, we're on brows okay.

- And I just started, oh yeah,

for my brows I'm using this Milani EasyBrow.

If you follow me you know this is like what I use, right.

- What color is it?

- This is in Dark Brown.

- Okay, Nyx Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown.

- If I am on YouTube, I need to be in a place where

I am influencing and/or commanding a certain price.

(laughs)

- Okay, alright so we're just doing

a little bit of eyebrow illustration.

Some of us more than others, you know what I'm saying.

She got way more brows than I.

What do you consider success on YouTube,

and what do you consider failure on YouTube?

- I don't consider anything failure on YouTube,

'cause I feel like if you're actually really trying

to do something, you will do it.

I think if you really put everything into YouTube,

you won't "fail" unless your idea is to become

someone who is completely sustained off of YouTube,

and makes like, I mean I don't know,

but like I watch a lot of YouTubers,

and nobody will actually say how much they make.

Especially the ones who like, don't do that much.

(laughs)

- They just, you see the vlog "I'm moving out!"

- And like are you making $10,000 a month?

'Cause that's what I, like you know,

like are you making $10,000 a month?

Like I wouldn't move out from my roommate situation

if I was only making $5,000 a month from YouTube.

I mean, not to say that that's not a lot of money, it is.

- You wouldn't? Well I would!

- The people who I think are able to do that

have other things going on.

- L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in the color,

girl I don't know, it's lighter than me tho.

- I have that too, but mine's "Dark Cocoa".

- Oh, something we also have in common

is we are, I don't know if we're team dayjob,

but we're team "we got dayjobs".

- Yeah, I'm just kind of doing that,

but also with the understanding that like,

my first sort of, priority right now is YouTube,

because that is the medium that I'm using to...

- Propel yourself.

- Propel myself forward.

It's almost like, I just want my own variety show.

'Cause like I am an actor, but like I have things to say,

and like, I wanna be known as somebody,

like ya know, dare I say like mini Oprah.

- Got your own magazine, don't nobody else

be on the cover of your magazine but you.

(laughs)

So do you think having a dayjob, #dayjob,

prevents you from experiencing like,

the burnout that YouTubers so often like come on camera

and they're like "Y'all I'm just

"not inspired anymore, I'm just feeling."

- Oh no, I experienced a burnout like all the time.

- 'Cause it's like, you have to do both things?

- Yeah, I'm using Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.

- I'm using eyeliner that,

the label rubbed off I don't know, I don't know.

But it's one of my favorites, I like it.

- It's a good one. It's a good one I like it.

I gotta keep myself motivated,

it's my job to stay motivated,

and before I would try to get my motivation from like

other online people, like "Oh what is, what tag is popular?

"I'll just do a tag real quick."

And then like even then I feel like,

I'm like "Sellout! Sellout."

- Sellout? Who a sellout?

- Like I feel a little, me, when I do tags.

- Oh!

(laughs)

Like it's a copout.

- Copout! Yeah sorry wrong word.

- Okay, I was like "Who a sellout?

"What's the tea girl? Ooh tell me the tea girl."

- The Nubian Pallette by Juvia's Place.

- Okay, I don't know how to do this without tugging my eye,

so sorry, yes I know it encourages wrinkles.

- The problem is that I don't consider myself a writer,

and I'm having to be writer, producer, and director.

I don't consider myself a writer, producer, or director.

I consider myself an actor.

- That's fascinating because I love being behind the camera

more than in front of the camera.

People assume when you're on YouTube, your goal

is to be a YouTuber, like to have that be your job.

I'm using some concealer that I don't know the name of it.

This is why I'm not a beauty guru.

"Hey everybody it's me, I'm here with

"a Bed Bath & Beyond haul!"

(laughs)

Like that's not, that's not what I'm trying to do.

I just wanna make cool stuff, and it just so happens that

I only have access to people via YouTube.

So I'm using this Hikari Luster Shimmer Bronzer.

I'm gonna use this dark one as whatever this is called.

What is it when you like...

- Highlight.

- Yes, but I think you put it like that,

and then you just like blend it.

- Yeah. Oh I didn't put eyeliner on.

- Do you have small eyes? You don't need eyeliner.

I feel like when you have big eyes,

(laughs)

you need a lil' something something

to bring it back down to earth.

For me, success on YouTube, I feel,

I feel like I already...

- Have it? Yeah.

- Have it. And they watch the videos.

And they comment on things, and I see them

out in real life sometimes, and even though I'm shady

and I don't do meetups, y'all still like me for some reason.

(laughs)

Black girl beauty brand nude,

it's called Mented, and it's a lipstick company

that makes nudes for melanated people.

So no more ashy, donut dust lips.

- Donut dust.

(chuckles)

- Dope Taupe, and it's basically the color of my lip.

But yeah, I don't know if I'll be on YouTube in five years.

Am I on YouTube now?

(laughs)

So I'm going to finish things off with my perfume,

which is, this is my favorite perfume,

Hi Wildflower Lovers Rock.

I like smelling like an old Jamaican man, I don't know.

(laughs)

- K, I'm gonna put this blush on,

and this is a mineralized blush,

it's Love Thing it's by MAC.

And then I was gonna do this purple lip.

- Ooh!

It's a Milani, it's Matte Glam,

and it's from last spring and I love it.

Then after that I have one more move, and that's gonna be my

Boscia White Charcoal Mattifying Spray.

You want some? Spray it.

- Yeah.

- Setting Spray.

- Okay.

- Ready? Go.

(groans)

- So YouTube, man. I'm here, ya know.

And when I'm not here, I'm not.

- As with most things, you know what I'm saying

in the world,

when they are here, they're here.

When they're not, they're elsewhere.

- So, and that's a pretty color.

- Thank you!

- That is pretty color. Yes! Ooh Yes!

(laughs)

I feel like we're, let's luxuriate for a second.

- Okay.

- Let's look at, yeah. Angles, angles.

Oh we gotta do the look-down, you right.

- It's casual, it's a casual look-down.

It's like, it's like a back and then it's like "Hi".

(chuckles)

- And where can people find you on the internets?

- People can find me @justcallmewah on Twitter,

on Instagram, and on YouTube and Facebook,

so just call me Wah.

- Awesome.

- And then go to our next video

that's gonna be us getting unready tonight.

- Oh yeah!

- And I'm gonna make her do all of my skin care.

It's like half Korean, half Wahima skin care.

(laughs)

- What, what do we want them to tell us?

- Where you would like to see us in five years?

Is that weird?

- Oh no.

- Like where would you follow us in five years?

- Yeah, where would you, where would you

want to see us in five years?

I feel like we have very supportive,

like internet cousins, ya know?

- Yeah.

- The internet is a really trash place,

and y'all are so not trash, it's magical.

Like I don't understand where y'all came from.

So, in the comments below let us know

where you see us in five years.

She'll be 40 I don't know how that is, how that happens.

I'll be 30 in...yeah I'll be 31 in five years.

Alright, we'll see you on the internet somewhere, bye!

- Bye.

Towsleys Manitowoc MLC650 Crawler Crane - Part 2 by Cranes Etc TV - Duration: 7:28.

In the previous video about this model

we covered the full assembly, so in this

second video we're going to concentrate

on the detail, the features and the

overall rating of the model. But before

that we start with a quick message.

Cranes Etc has made over a thousand

reviews and reports so if you like what

we do please support us and help us

continue by making a pledge via Patreon.

A link is on the screen and in the video

description, and in return for your

support you can get various rewards

including news, early access discounts,

and other benefits, and know that your

support will keep us going.

This is a very detailed model and that starts with

the track shoes, and both the tracks and

the track frames are all metal.

There are metal steps and walking

platforms and three slewing motors are

modelled at the front of the crane. The

cab looks very good and although the

outside mirror is not silvered the

graphics behind the cab are very good.

The walkways and the handrails are all

metal, the live mast has the erection

cylinder modelled although it's not

functional. However all of the sheaves

are nice quality metal. The VPC-Max

counterweight mechanism is excellent and

the 10 ton counterweight boxes all have

usable lifting eyes. The boom and jib

sections are nearly all metal and nicely

cast, and they are very good because they

have mesh walkways and usable lifting

eyes. The complicated lattice sections

are modelled really well and the

sections are connected with black nuts

and bolts. The straps are made of a

ductile metal so they are strong but

they're also very thin. Almost every

connection on the model is bolted so you

can reconfigure it how you like. The one

exception to that is the large main hook

block and it's a pity that can't be

split down like the real hook.

Two other hooks are included; a single

line hook and a three sheave block.

There's also a small rooster jib with

working rollers. As with the majority of

diecast models this one was made in

China

and when Cranes Etc visited the factory

various production processes could be

seen. Before painting all of the metal

castings have to be tidied up and

cleaned, and various parts such as these

plastic name boards have to be tampo

printed. The main metal parts of the

model are all sprayed by hand. After

that the spray parts then go onto the

assembly line where the various parts

are put together. if you want to see more

about this you can view the videos of

Cranes Etc's China visit.

Out of the box the tracks are mounted on

the track frames and if we lift it up

the tracks roll very easily indeed.

However the modelling is fairly simple

because there are no working rollers on

the track frames. On a very smooth

surface the tracks can't quite bite

enough to roll, although to be fair they

do try very hard. One feature that is

undocumented in the manual is that the

tracks are removable. It's easy to do

because there's just one screw at each

end and once they are removed the track

assembly just pulls off. That does give

you some extra flexibility because you

can now use a track frame as a load so

even if you don't have the space to see

the hat, coat and trousers, at least you

can see their shoe. And of course that

extends to all the other parts that are

in the box. There are plenty of boom

sections of different sizes to go onto a

flatbed truck, and if you like butts

you can put boom butts and jib butts

onto a truck as well. Anyway we're not

here to look at butts no matter how big,

so moving back to the assembled model

there is another feature you could use

to display the model if you wanted and

that's by using the self erection legs

which can fold out and then you can pull

the pads down, and these would normally be

used when the crane attaches its own

crawler tracks. This is a big heavy model

and a lot rests on the slewing ring and

the model rotates very smoothly. The cab

has another feature which is a nice

tilting mechanism and the model does

feature winch drums which operate with a

small key.

They have a positive braking system and

they work by pushing the drum in. It

disengages a brake and compresses a

spring and when you finish the drum is

pushed back onto the brake. In common

with many of the big crane models like

this everything works fine, but if for

example, the jib is at too steep an angle

there's not enough weight to overcome

all of the reeving so manual

intervention is required. The live gantry

has two split drums which is not the same

as the real crane but it's easier to

keep a tension on the ropes. In the

assembly video we built the crane up to

its full configuration, but the model is

fully flexible so there are many other

ways you can build it and here is

another configuration. We've shortened

the boom by taking a section out and for

this arrangement we've also taken off

the luffing jib. At the boom tip we've

also relocated the rooster jib from the

luffing jib. The major feature of the

real crane is its variable position

counterweight so let's take a look and

see how it works. Here we've got a load

strung on the crane, and the variable

position counterweight works by trying

to keep everything in balance and making

therefore the crane efficient. So with

the crane unloaded it tracks with the

counterweight in and it's in balance, and

when it's ready to lift something heavy

the counterweight can be slid out and

for very heavy loads this is a much

quicker arrangement than carrying extra

counterweight on a floating tray. Here

we've moved the counterweight out to the

end of the body, and with the VPC-Max it

can in fact go much further, and the big

stabiliser foot prevents the crane

tipping back until such time as we wind

in the load

and then again we've achieved a position

where the crane is more optimally in

balance. The other thing the VPC system

allows is to pick a load up at short

radius and then with the counterweight

moved out you can put the load down at a

bigger radius.

This is a very big and impressive model by Towsleys. It has a

very good level of detailing, it is

high-quality and its biggest plus point

is the flexibility, with the ability to

configure the model how you want to. To

go for the wow factor you can put a big

heavy load on it and balance the crane,

and overall this is an excellent model.

Travis Scott and Quavo's Collab Album May Be a Surprise Drop - Duration: 1:57.

Hey everyone, for Complex News, I'm Justin Block, and rap fans, rejoice: Travis Scott

and Quavo's collab album is edging towards an actual release.

In an interview with GQ published yesterday, Scott confirmed its existence, but wouldn't

reveal its title.

"The Quavo album is coming soon.

I'm dropping new music soon.

You know how I do it though: I like surprises.

We're all about surprises."

Travis wasn't kidding about loving surprises either.

Last night, he dropped three new tracks out of nowhere, titled "Butterfly Effect,"

"A Man." and "Green & Purple" with Playboi Carti, None featured Quavo, but it

shows Travis has plenty of new music in the vault, and is probably saving his best songs

with Quavo for the album.

With summer on tap, Travis and Quavo's long-rumored album can't come soon enough.

The pair have been teasing a joint project since December, when Quavo said on Travis

Scott's Beats 1 Radio show:

"Quavo album right after we get that Quavo and Travis album."

Naturally, that sent rap fans into a frenzy, especially considering the undeniable history

of hits Travis and Quavo have made together, like "Pick Up The Phone," with Young Thug,

and Days Before Rodeo's "Oh My, Dis Side," and "Sloppy Toppy."

But months passed without any new music or hints from Travis or Quavo.

In March, however, Travis sparked the excitement again when he tweeted:

"Dnt worry that huncho x cactus jack.

Coming"

And then, a few weeks later, on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio Show, Travis previewed two songs

with Quavo.

Coming off of their collaboration on Drake's "Portland," the Internet was set ablaze

over the Travis and Quavo preview tracks, like this one:

Given their clear chemistry, their album should be one of the highlights of the summer in

hip-hop.

Watch Kendall Jenner Eat Dirt While Trying to Look Cool - Duration: 2:09.

Hey guys, what's going on?

For Complex News, I'm Tamara Dhia.

Look man, I'm not one to hate but sometimes you just can't help but laugh at someone when

they try to look cool and end up failing, miserably.

Like this Joe Budden look-alike who thought he was slick going the wrong way down the

escalator:

Or this guy who engaged in a dance-off and bet that his opponent couldn't do "this on

concrete":

Now it

looks like Kendall Jenner is adding herself to the list.

The model and reality star was caught by cameras trying to look cute while riding a bike, then

eating dirt.

And because I know you all love the Kardashian-Jenner's so much, I made the editors hit the slow mo

on the video for your viewing pleasure.

To her credit, she was a good sport about it and laughed it off.

Khloe Kardashian couldn't miss an opportunity to roast her sister and posted the video to

Instagram adding the caption: "My work here is done."

Back in March this video was making the rounds which many thought was Kendall eating concrete

at a party:

The model took to Twitter to laugh at the video but deny it was her.

Woulda been much funnier if it was.

That's all for now but for the rest of today's updates, keep it locked right here to Complex.

[music]

My philosophy about patient care is that the needs of the patient come foremost and are

the most important so I want to always keep the needs of the patient at the center of my thoughts.

There's lots of things we can offer patients but that doesn't mean that any particular procedure,

any particular device, any particular treatment, any particular drug, is the right drug for the right patient.

We have to treat patients with respect, we have to treat patients with empathy but also

have to always make sure that we are doing what is in their best interest.

I do all clinical and research things related to cardiovascular electrophysiology.

I am mostly interested in catheter based procedures as well as medical treatment of arrhythmias,

that are heart rhythm problems in patients, that falls within heart disease.

Catheter based procedures could include things like catheter ablation procedures

to map and treat ablate arrhythmias.

Medical treatment obviously includes medications and taking care of patients in the hospital

as well as in the outpatient setting.

The other big part of my clinical practice involves using or implanting devices.

So device based therapies, for example, pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization

therapy devices for patients with heart failure and so forth.

Another part of my practice is treating patients who are at risk of cardioembolic strokes or

blood clot related strokes generating from blood clots in the heart.

That can happen in patients with conditions like atrial fibrillation.

We have various techniques and tools to treat these including using blood thinners as a

catheter based procedures to ligate off the electrical appendage, which is the source

of these blood clots that can be removed from circulation using catheter techniques.

The favorite thing is the feeling you get, the satisfaction you get, by getting a patient

through maybe a procedure or even medical treatment and getting them to deal with their heart rhythm disorder.

Doing procedures is very gratifying, especially in cardiovascular electrophysiology, because

you can make a difference in somebody who is beset with arrhythmia issues then these

can be young patients, old patients, patients who have other structural heart disease,

heart failure, or born with congenital heart disease or people with otherwise a completely normal

heart and they have palpitations, they might be light-headed, they have these episodes

where they're not feeling very well, maybe feeling fatigued and tired, bad quality of

life and you do a procedure and cure them of their arrhythmia and suddenly, they have a new life.

So that's very gratifying.

What I've heard from some of the patients who have been very gracious in their appraise,

what they've appreciated is that I've explained to them, some of the patients who've

had multiple procedures and have been in various offices and various hospitals, they come back

and say "wow, you are the first one who really explained it to me.

You really broke it down for us as a family, for me as a patient and now I really understand

what's going on and how this procedure or this medicine, how that's really going to

take care of the situation for me.

AMERICAN EPIC | 1920's Coal Miners strike | PBS - Duration: 1:06.

Back in 1921, miners started

marching, and they was trying

to get unions formed. The coal

companies didn't want the

union to come in, because if

they did, that'd mean that the

coal miners would get better

pay and everything. Well, the

sheriff back at the time, he

had an army of deputies to

meet them at the top of Blair

Mountain. They had guns all

over the place, you know. Of

course, the coal miners – they

were armed, too. But they were

outnumbered by five or ten to

one. And several people were

killed and it's believed that

some people's remains might

still be laying on the

mountain up there.

The Mine Wars, and

the hellish working

conditions, inspired the Logan

musicians to find a way out –

through music.

Back then Dick Justice and

Frank Hutchison, they were

very good, and they all knew

each other, they, they played

music together many-a-times.

Stack o' Lee, Oh Stack o' Lee

Please don't take my life. I

got three little children and

a weepin' lovin' wife You're a

bad man, Stack o' Lee...
