At AXA, we want to empower people to live a better life.

For the last 10 years, the AXA Research Fund
has been partnering with the brightest and most innovative researchers
to really support them for a brighter future of this world.
You've made sure that my postdoc has been very very smooth
and very well done,
You've connected me to any researchers I needed to be connected to,
you've provided all the funding I needed to be funded,
and it's all because of AXA.
For 10 years now, the AXA Research Fund
has been continuously evolving to help researchers address
the new challenges our societies are facing.
The fund supports best in class scientists that really help
to improve our health, to protect our environment, to develop our economies,
and to really help us to get through this data driven technology revolution.
Excellence is at the heart of our philanthropic model.
Thanks to a transparent and rigorous selection process,
we are able to support attract and accompany
the best scientists across the world.
Let's hope that together, we can make some real progress
in helping our ageing society.
To be useful, science needs to be shared.
At the AXA Research Fund, we've always valued
getting science out of the lab.
We encourage those researchers who have this willingness
to make their science understandable and useful for the people.
Popularization skills are very very important,
because to be able to take part...
The AXA POP DAYS communication training... It was very important for me
both at the personal level and the career level.
The AXA Research Fund also encourages all the supported researchers
to really share all the knowledge for the benefit of all,
to adapt ourselves to future hazards, and to contribute to decision-making
because at the end of the day, this serve to the good of the whole world.
This is a sediment core. As deeper down into the sediment you go
the further back in history.
We also value very much, we encourage and we support their own initiatives
because they're very creative, and they have their own ways
of sharing their science. And we are very convinced
that all together, the researchers with the AXA support
and the supports of their institutions can contribute
to make the future better.
They are looking at the biggest issues
we are facing the current and the future generations.
Issues such as the consequences of climate change, health developments,
and longevity to have a healthy ageing.
Concepts from airplane engineering...
These are the big issues they're bringing, and they are bringing us
better information and better insights on all of these topics.
And that's important because if we are better informed, we are better prepared,
and we can therefore face the adversaries in a much better way
towards a safer, healthier and prosperous tomorrow.
The AXA Research Fund today is a recognized partner
for the academic world and one of the largest
corporate philanthropic initiative in Europe.
