Do you know that there is a Moon rock in a museum in Milan?

A Moon rock in Milan

At the Science and Technology Museum "Leonardo da Vinci" we can find a very particular relic.

It is a small Lunar fragment,

the only one we held in Italy.

It is a small basalt rock, approximatively one centimeter per side.

The relic is one of extraordinary value and crucial scientific importance.

It is kept inside a glass bubble donated to Italy by the US president Richard Nixon in 1973.

This small Moon rock was collected by the Apollo 17 mission, the latest lunar landing.

The astronauts, led by Eugene Cernan, landed on the Moon in December 1972.

For some years now the Moon rock has been displayed in a section of the Science and Technology Museum

dedicated to space explorations.

Besides the famous rock, in that area we can admire relics

which tell the history of manned space exploration.

Nevertheless, the centerpiece is the Lunar rock,

a symbol of the technological progress of our species

and of the biggest exploratory adventure of the humankind.

DIY - Miniature Fairy Garden in Tea Cup - Duration: 9:24.

Hi, today I want to show you

How I will make this fairy garden,

miniature fairy garden in the cup.

I will start to make the house from matches.

I will cut out matches heads.

I put few matches together.

and I will draw windows and the door.

I will cut out the hole for windows and the door.

Now I use other matches

for fix front part of the house together.

This same way I will make the back side

and sides of the house.

and I will fix sides of the house together.

Now I make a copy front and back side of the house.

Now I will measure half

I will make a right angle.

and I will measure 1.5 centimetres.

And I will covert these triangles with matches.

After drying I can cut out triangles.

and I will fix these triangles on the house.

For help I use a small piece of match.

Now I will make a roof.

I will cut out heads of matches.

I use a small piece of paper.

and I will fix matches to the paper.

After drying I will cut out rest of paper

and I will clean sides of roof.

Now I will fix the roof to the house.

I will clean bottom side of the roof with matches.

I will cut out rest of matches

and I have a nice clean roof.

Now I will make a chimney.

Here I made a pattern for chimney.

and I will cut out the shapes for the chimney

I will fix parts of chimney together.

Now I will make a door.

for to make a door I fix 3 matches together.

and I will fix the door to the house.

and I will fix the chimney to the roof.

and here is my a beautiful cup

and I will fill this cup with small stones.

I cut out the rest of matches.

If you want to use sand you can leave longer matches

for better stabilisation.

and for decoration I use a bigger stone.

a small succulents,

some mushrooms.

and for to make fume I use cotton.

and I have finish

I finished this miniature fairy garden

and I have a nice decoration.
