Waching daily Oct 13 2017

Hey everyone. Here is a short 1.08.1 update review.

In fact this is not an update, but some weapon tweaks.

In november 2016 in the Hallowes update MG42 and M1/M2 Carbine (which also were known as the most OP weapon) were nerfed.

And they were nerfed so much that most of players abandoned them.

And almost one year later Reto has understood that they overdid.

In 1.08.1 update MG42 and M2 Carbine recoil has been decreased and accuracy increased.

But not so much as before the Hallowes update.

And M1941 Johnson suffered the opposite fate - its accuracy has been decreased a little. Nerfed not so much.

And that's all.

Since the review has turned out rather short, Im gonna show you something interesting. Be all eyes!

Ok, I lied - there were nothing interesting.

By tradition, the rating is...

10 redBjarne out of 10!

And just now, as a bonus, Im gonna show you REALLY interesting thing.

Wait, have you really bitten on it one more time?

Well...these things happen

5 Terrifying Jumpscares In Video Games - Horror Month 2017 - Day 13 - Duration: 3:17.

Geeky Gaming

Hey Geeks, it's Andrea.

We are on day 13 of Horror Month 2017 and it is Friday the 13th.

So it is a perfect day to talk about some jumpscares.

I really wanted to talk video games today, so we are going to take a look at some jumpscares

in video games.

Alright Geeks, let's go.

5.

Dino Crisis - T-Rex I was actually surprised that Dino Crisis

had any jumpscares.

I didn't grow up playing this game, but I've been watching a lot of clips lately

and I was surprised to that it had any jumpscares at all.

It really is a game that doesn't rely on jumpscares to spook you, so this one really

catches you off guard.

4.

Resident Evil 4 - burning man I've said it before and I will say it a

million times more, Resident Evil 4 is one of my favorite games of all time.

It is by far my favorite Resident Evil game.

There are a few pretty good jumpscares throughout the game.

This is one of my favorites simply because of how casual it feels.

You're just walking along, minding your own business and a flaming guy busts out at

you.

3.

Five Nights at Freddy's 5 Nights at Freddy's is a jumpscare game.

So really the entire game is basically just one big jumpscare simulator.

I am not a person who can actually play games like these, but I really do enjoy watching

them.

The best way to enjoy these is watching someone who hasn't experienced the game before.

I know a lot of videos are going to have people pretending to be scared and overacting, but

there is something enjoyable about watching someone play through these types of games

for the first time so they're scared when you're scared and it's all good.

That being said, I am scared of everything and even someone walking in the room when

I don't expect it legitimately makes me scream in real life…

I have a really bad reputation for that around the house.

People even say "I'm coming in the room, don't scream" and that startles me.

So maybe I'm not the best judge of jumpscares.

2.

PT - Lisa attack I'm actually really surprised we didn't

have this on last year's list of jumpscares.

PT was just so perfectly done.

You still have people playing this trailer today.

It's crazy good.

There are quite a few moments where Lisa scares the hell out of you, this is probably the

most scary though because you get a really good look at that face.

1.

Bioshock - dentist Bioshock is a great game, so you really should

check it out if you haven't.

The Dentist jumpscare is a such a great one because there is no real setup for it.

You just turn around and he is right in your freaking face.

No warning, no expectations.

Alright Geeks, that's going to do it for this video.

Thank you so much for hanging out with me today.

Check the description if you want to watch the full version of any of these jumpscares.

Don't forget, the limited time Horror Month T-Shirt is only available a couple more weeks,

so be sure to pick it up before it is gone forever.

You can also get the Horror Month Song on bandcamp.

Do me a favor and subscribe, like, and comment on your way out.

Alright Geeks, I will see you tomorrow.

Make it Real: RED HOT REBAR CROSSBOW (HALF-LIFE) - Duration: 21:58.

Hey guys on this episode of Make It Real we're building the resistance crossbow

from half-life that's right it shoots red-hot rebar this video is sponsored by

next games which allowed us to build this awesome weapon for hunting the

undead now obviously we're gonna need quite a bit of steel for this project so

we're gonna go to the supermarket! "The supermarket?" Yeah, The metal supermarket.

Alright so how are we gonna build the half-life 2 resistance crossbow well as

you can see I've got some nice blueprints here a screenshot from the

video game so let's figure it out the beauty with this project is it's

literally made of scrap materials in the game which means we can actually make it

look just like this quite easily so first of all we're gonna need some box

tube we've got right here now the trickiest part about building a crossbow

is probably the release mechanism so we're gonna cheat elope so we just got a

cheap crossbow here how they can see it's actually a pretty slick little

crossbow we could actually modify this to become

the resistance crossbow but I'd rather make it look just like the one in the

game we could also make use of the existing limbs but I think it'd be

cooler to try and use this so this is actually a truck leaf spring and might

be a bit powerful yeah it bends a little bit I think we're probably gonna have to

remove a few of these extra pieces of steel oh yeah I think that'll do the

trick now because the weapon we're making is gonna be really accurate we're

gonna need a scope so I picked up this airsoft scope which is actually a 4x

scope complete with illuminated red and green crosshair like I'm kind of joking

like it's not gonna be accurate but we've got the scope because as you know

adding a scope adds 10 plus accuracy points alright so as you can see in the

design the limbs actually this is actually technically a compound crossbow

where is the cross but we have is just a regular one so we're actually use these

pulleys and add them to the ends of our crossbow limb next step will be to

actually cut a groove out of these two is in order to hit the pulleys inside

all right time to take apart a crossbow and see how we can make use of the

components we have all right so we're going to start by trimming off all the

unnecessary parts of the original crossbow so we're gonna cut off the tail

stock molten plastic grouse Dremel probably would have been a better idea

but too late okay you gotta remove the fun cool part yeah so we might have to

go a bit off the plan first of all the actual trigger mechanism is behind the

grip

and I wish these well a bit prettier

now I was thinking imagine this is a very expensive and time-consuming

project in fact we wouldn't even be able to do it if not for a sponsor so I'd

like to take a minute and tell you a bit about this game I've been playing it's

called The Walking Dead no man's land I've put a link in the description below

including a special offer that's only available right now

it's a turn-by-turn strategy game so if you're the kind of person who likes

playing chess or checkers you'll probably like it the best part is it's

an officially licensed walking dead game which means you get to play the

characters from the show in actual walking dead locations including

Alexandria during my trip down in Michigan for the artprize with Ian I

played this game for hours and made it pretty far it's kind of addictive during

your turn you move your characters around every time you move the zombies

move too which means you'll have to use a bit of strategy and problem-solving to

get out of tight places and beyond adventuring you also get to set up your

camp build up your fortress and defend it and if your fan of the TV show The

Walking Dead you're gonna recognize the in-game characters like Rick's and shown

Ezekiel Daryl and even negan who's a special character you can get for free

right now if you use my download link below when the newest updates the game

includes a new game mode called the distance which is a biweekly event or

you play a survival mode there's also a new crafting mode lets you collect

components and craft badges for your survivors to increase their attributes

the game is available on Android iOS and pretty much every other device so if you

like zombies saving humanity and being a certified apocalypse survivor download

the game for free today the offer is only available right now so

go ahead and click the first link in the description below alright let's finish

this crossbow I think Daryl will need it now honestly

it's not actually as heavy as I thought it would be I mean it's pretty heavy

it's gotta add some stuff to it but I can flex with my fingers I'm just scared

to pull it all the way oh my god

all right so we've been able to actually draw and fire the crossbow which is

pretty awesome so we had a bit of difficulty when we made it it was just

too damn powerful and what we did try and fix that was first we machined slots

into the limb of the crossbow so it'd be a bit easier to actually drop back that

still wasn't enough so we made the slots even bigger and we actually used our

mock CNC milling machine to do a nice little curve right here unfortunately it

was still actually really hard to draw back now we didn't want to weaken it

anymore so we decided to turn to a compound crossbow we actually went out

we bought better higher rage pulleys that are a bit smaller we're going to

replace them with so let's do that right now

which means we have to actually now add the most iconic part which is the actual

heating of the rebar part so we've got a few copper bus bars which were actually

a machine in our time our CNC machine had a slight groove for the piece of

rebar to sit in them males here what is it just you it's a are five hundred

proof steel yeah we're making the frying-pan from pub G we're seeing how

much current it takes to heat up one of these projectiles so we have two car

batteries in parallel now hypothetically we should be able to get about 2,000

amps out of these ready

well she getting red-hot how's her current there we go look at

that red-hot yeah okay yeah good job you have one directed by the Red Hot 900 the

dropping yeah for that ant hey 50 so as you can see there's also a

sweet spot before the red-hot metal it gets highly unstable just for shits and

giggles we're gonna see how much power will take to heat up actual rebar

there's some pretty good sparks so the other issue with actual rebar is because

it's all rusty and rough it is super hard to actually get a good contact so

honestly the other option is probably better if I would loo that I cut through

the arc yeah test two

today we can't fit two car batteries on the bottom of our cross now we're gonna

power this crossbow we thought we were gonna be able to use some of the normal

zippy lipo batteries that we had already but it turns out they're not powerful

enough and in the game they use a what looks like a six volt lantern battery

and that would just not heat up a piece of rebar so we're gonna have to use some

modern technology each of these can actually put out 250

amps which means all aid in them together what's that around two thousand

amps plus they have a peak discharge rate of double that so that means

hypothetically we can put out 4000 amps that's almost 30 kilowatts of energy are

you guys staring now we want to make this look as close to the crossbow in

the game as possible so we're gonna disguise these light bows as lantern

battery and to do that I got some yellow duct tape ha and there you have it one

lantern bed

so we still need to connect the power wires from the battery to the contactor

which connects to this copper bus bar here and in the battery to connect

directly to the bus bar in the front making it short on the rebar in between

them now before we did the X we're basically

now to take off take apart the entire gun just to fit the wire through the

inside of the gun we've got to add a stirrup so we can actually load this

thing okay you give that beep three it's like if that mechanism failed as I'm

pulling my fingers there hmm the safety didn't auto engage that time

please work trigger mechanism all right so just for a point of reference we're

gonna try shooting a regular crossbow to see how it compares to the one we built

that's so easy cross puzzle cool yeah once again this is how easy 135

pounds draw a cross bill it's below just like that cannot do that on mine

well sure what's more since a little you can't dry fire these things yeah we

shouldn't shoot this one I saw another one somewhere

I like crossbows hey back to our craft oh come on

three two one

all right first test of the crossbow we're not going to eat anything up just

yet but let's see if it can shoot a regular arrow oh you go at me okay ready

all right let's move on to some more serious firepower more serious

ammunition and bent it oh my god let's shoot it from the ground I have to hold

it holy shit yes that's my sparks here we

go why is it not turning red

there we go holy

and I'm gonna aim for this shoot holy Sh I hit the Apple zoom and zoom in get the

steam

I chased really good for us alright I missed it but half her skulls

gone

oh boy

yeah let's talk about what we're going to test the song we actually picked up

some Ivan heads from zombie go boom but unfortunately these things don't come

with brain matter on this episode of cooking with a hack Smith we're making

ZOMBIE BRAINS we don't have a lid do it it's in the messy you know we don't have

a lid have you guys ever seen chicken hearts before

what's the candy that's shaped like this no Swedish great alright play a gumdrop

but like I like that they're weird oh yeah throw any eggs in fridge

this was actually an CH he graciously donated to cooking with Zack Smith yeah

they think things are bad man that is nasty I guess I'll just I'll Jam a few

chicken hearts in

I'm a chicken

hammer and there you have it zombie brains made a lot of extra you

want some oh hello my name is Gordon Hackman and I'm a research associate at

the Black Mesa facility in the anomalous materials department at least I was

until everything kind of went sideways so I've had to create this weapon to

deal with the issues we've been having so let me show you how it works all

right now it's time to test our highly experimental weapon for killing head

crabs I mean zombies I guess we gotta draw

this first now for the purposes of this test we want to make sure we have a

exact baseline for the weapon so we're gonna be shooting it from this platform

as opposed to actually holding it all right so ready to test safety off

what really sliced the head open there

tick - I don't think I've ever seen this happen during I haven't had before so I

think we I I didn't actually holy crap I

didn't quite get to the red-hot part so that's why it's not a fire he's not

having a good day yeah yep what so in the game when these red-hot rebars stick

into a frigging concrete that's just that would never happen because once

it's red-hot its malleable it is soft as you can see here like it literally

became like I almost lay a little corkscrew and pretty much all of them

have bent so so one thing half life probably got a little bit wrong with the

the physics in that game among other things

yeah I'd say that's pretty effective all right so the resistance crossbow proves

pretty effective against zombie heads especially because it actually lights

some on fire so even if you don't get a critical hit you're lighting that

zombies head on fire and they're not gonna last very long after that but we

got finished this guy and I got a crowbar

oh Jesus Christ those things are hard yeah I'm a lot more impressed with the

bullet went through him now like seeing how hard this skull is

there we go

all right final test big bolt super red-hot we're gonna see what it looks

like in slow motion when it literally squiggles itself on this plywood skid

all right so we're likely pumping around 15 to 20 kilowatts of electricity into

this piece of steel and it is just glowing orange hot it is going to start

melting soon we need to shoot it ready I didn't go to squealy he's definitely

wood flying but better if we actually had some well I hope you guys enjoyed

that project we had a ton of fun making it and we're super thankful to our

sponsor for helping make it a reality because we wouldn't have been able to do

this project without them so please check out their game The Walking Dead no

man's land there's a link in the description below and a special offer

that's only available right here as always make sure you're subscribed with

notifications turned on you're not gonna want to miss our next projects and don't

The Simple Discovery That Let Us Fly Faster Than the Speed of Sound - Duration: 3:48.

Modern day fighter jets can travel faster than the speed of sound without breaking a

sweat, but until, 70 years ago on October 14 of 1947; no human had ever traveled that

fast.

Those who came close saw their aircraft become uncontrollable, or shake themselves to pieces,

leading some to believe that manned flight faster, than the speed of sound, was impossible.

There seemed to be a "sound barrier."

And we wanted to break it.

You may be wondering why the speed of sound is important in aviation at all, and to understand

that you have to remember what sound is in the first place.

Watching a wave travel down a slinky is a good visualization.

In a gas, sound travels as a longitudinal wave, meaning that it propagates when air

molecules bunch together and then space out again.

Watching a wave travel down a slinky is a good visualization.

[pause]

As planes fly through the air, they create sound waves.

But if the planes go fast enough, they start to catch up with their own sound waves.

Air molecules get rammed into each other faster than they can get out of the way, and the

waves pile up to form a powerful shock wave -- that famous sonic boom observers hear when

a supersonic jet goes by.

But, the sudden and extreme air pressure is just the start.

As the air behind the shock wave breaks up in a turbulent wake, it can swirl and violently

slap at different parts of the plane, causing buffeting and increased drag.

For the airplanes of old, this was bad news.

First, there was the problem of the propulsion system.

As a propeller spins, the tips of the blades can actually break the sound barrier.

When that happens, the air starts swirling and increasing drag, and the prop's efficiency

drops.

Maybe these problems could be overcome with a radically different propeller design, but

by the end of WWII, rockets had advanced and the jet engine had been invented, so there

wasn't much point trying to force the poor propeller to do a job it wasn't suited for.

Even with the jet engine replacing old propellers, there was another problem to overcome at speeds

close to the speed of sound: the wings.

Wings on old aircraft were straight as a 2x4 and when we were puttering around at subsonic

speeds, they worked just fine.

But when airplanes are right around that magical sound barrier, at what's known as transonic

speeds, the airflow over straight wings does something you might not expect.

Namely, it actually goes faster than the speed of sound.

This makes sense when you consider how a wing fundamentally works.

They've got that curved shape on top to make the air on that side travel faster.

But if the air on top of the wing goes faster than the speed of sound it'll form, you

guessed it, a shock wave.

And just like before, the air behind that shock wave gets all turbulent as it expands,

increasing drag dramatically and maybe even separating airflow from the wing's surface

altogether.

Which is bad.

So, the solution was as simple as it was genius: sweep the wings back.

By placing the wings at an angle, some of the air travels down the wingspan, and the

rest accelerates across the wing more slowly, so the aircraft can fly faster before running

into the problems of a shock wave on the wing.

That means the fighter jet doesn't have to work as hard to break through the sound

barrier completely, and when it does shock waves that form on top of the wing travel

to the trailing edge where they cause less drag.

With powerful jet engines and swept wings, the sound barrier that once seemed so solid

is now routinely smashed.

It makes you wonder what other things that seem impossible today will be routine in the

future.

Huion GT-191 Kamvas Review [Scribble Kibble #79] - Duration: 5:31.

This is Scribble Kibble, a weekly show about animation.

This episode takes a look at the Huion GT-191, also known as the Kamvas.

The GT-191 is a drawing tablet that lets you draw directly on the screen.

This type of tablet is much more expensive than a screenless USB tablet, however, the

Kamvas is inexpensive compared to its biggest competitor, the Wacom Cintiq.

The thing I like most about this particular Huion tablet is the price, because the quality

you get for what you pay is high.

Honestly the GT-191 works almost just as well as my Cintiq 27QHD Touch.

You do give up having any shortcut buttons on the tablet itself, but there are two shortcut

buttons on the pen.

You also give up a little bit of color quality.

I explain how to improve the default color settings later.

On the upside, even though the tablet is inexpensive, you actually get more pressure sensitivity

than leading competitors: 8,000 levels compared to 2,000.

The difference in real life is subtle, but it's there.

Lines are smoother and more precise, and you'll notice greater control over stroke thickness.

It actually feels a lot like drawing on paper thanks to the screen protector the tablet

comes with, which is a bit thicker and has more texture to it than a normal glossy protector.

Which brings me to the second great thing about the GT-191: it comes with everything.

You buy it, you get a screen protector, a nice adjustable stand, and sometimes even

a smudge guard artist glove and an extra pen.

The largest Wacom display tablet requires you to order a $400 stand separately if you

don't want to hunch over the tablet and get sharp back and neck pain.

It's not like I'm speaking from experience or anything, haha… ha…

:( The Wacom also doesn't come with a screen protector - and that'll cost you about $50

- although the glass is very sturdy and doesn't scratch.

I'd like to know if the Huion glass is as scratch-proof, but I'm not about to take

my cat's claws to it to find out.

The point is with the GT-191, you get everything you need.

No ordering extra parts.

But make sure to install the drivers from the website, not from the CD that comes with

the tablet.

That's true for any tablet though.

The drawing area itself is a good size.

Not too big, not too small.

The tablet is a medium weight, making it easy to move around but sturdy enough to stay still.

The rubber grip on the bottom keeps it from sliding away from you.

It is big enough that it's not easy to transport, so don't think you're going to buy this

and be traveling all over the place with it.

Now, the number one weakness of the GT-191 is its colors.

When you first turn the tablet on you will immediately notice it looks washed out compared

to your computer monitor.

That's because the default color settings on the tablet screen are awful.

You can mess with the color settings on the GT-191 all you like; no matter what you do

you won't be able to get the colors as vibrant as your monitor, but you can get fairly close.

The best thing to do is turn brightness down to about 20, then go to Color Temperature,

set it to User, and slightly adjust the red value up or down.

These settings are as close as I could get to my computer monitor settings.

The colors on the GT-191 are clearer if you remove the screen protector, which means if

you want the most accurate colors possible on this tablet, consider buying a screen protector

from a company that specializes in protectors.

If you decide to do that you'll lose the paper feeling to drawing on the screen.

The tablet can be a bit picky about where you are holding your pen and where the cursor

is.

Default out of the box was great.

I did the pen calibration for a tutorial and it was a tiny bit off after that.

I calibrated it again and that fixed it.

With the pen cursor, if it's not broken, don't fix it!

Now it's time for the program test.

The GT-191 works in every program I tested it in.

Although, I had quite an adventure getting it to work in animation programs like Adobe

Animate and Toon Boom because of something dumb I did.

See, the Huion tablet driver comes with the default setting of pen button two to be "Switch

Brush."

What this seems to do is switch whatever tool you are using to the eraser.

So… after I installed the tablet, I must've pressed that pen button, and then switched

the action for that button to be CTRL+Z.

After that, no matter what I did, every tool in animation programs was the eraser.

Photoshop and SAI and even MS Paint worked fine, but everything else?

Eraser.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled the tablet and kept having the problem.

So I wrote to customer support because I wanted to see if the tablet was supposed to be compatible

with these programs.

Huion suggested I reset the default pen settings and then press the second pen button, the

"Switch Brush" button.

Surely it can't be that simple.

Surely.

Oh.

So, the GT-191 works in all of these programs and more!

All that's left to do is finish my drawing here.

I was going to make an animation, but that doesn't make a good video thumbnail, and

everybody's already drawn people, so here's your cute animal for the day!

By the way, sometimes you ask me, "How much did they pay you to say this?"

The answer to that is nothing!

I say whatever I want.

Popcorn.

Will Smith.

Summoner Showcase Episode 128: Academy Ahri - Duration: 3:23.

What's up Summoners? I'm Lulu, AKA Riot Swimbananas

and welcome to another exciting episode

of the Summoner Showcase.

I realized I have a small lisp with my fangs in

so I'm gonna take those out for the rest of the show

You're all back to school so we're going back to school

with an all Academy epsiode of the Summoner Showcase.

First up, ZowieBlaze made this

amazing Teemo getting dunked

drawing for a friend.

Darius is hardcore bullying Teemo in this shot

which makes my heart sad cause I love Teemo

but I also understand the hate.

The angle is unique on this one,

showcasing a view of Teemo getting punished

we've never quite seen before.

I'm sure you guys are happy about that one.

I like Teemo :(

Wow, this picture is dense with cosplayers.

Submitted by Malice Cosplay, who's not even

in the photograph, here's Kadu=Out and friends

in their various Academy cosplays.

Kadu and the Gang took this shot at the

YouTube Space in New York with the goal of

getting as many of his friends

in the same shot from all over the world.

Every cosplayer came up with their own ideas

and created Academy champs.

With a little Photoshop magic, all the

shots were then compiled together by Kadu.

Getting cosplayer groups together is tough to do

physically, especially when there's this many people

A digital photograph solves that problem.

Ektrix submitted her Academy Ahri cosplay to the

Facebook page, and holy moly...

that's a good Ahri.

I got to see this cosplay in person at

Anime Expo and it looks just as awesome

in real life. She chose Academy Ahri since Ahri

was her first midlaner.

Her friend Chewie did the photo edit inspired

to show an exciting battle in the middle of a classroom.

Miseriae amet Dolor submits an

inside look at League teachers

between classes in this teacher's lounge illustration.

All of these are original concepts

and since Thresh is one of their favorite champions

he shows up in most, if not all, of their art.

Fun fact: their Summoner name is based off

a Mordekaiser quote. Nice.

Fluffy Mochi Crafts made an amigurumi Ahri

that has crocheted it's way into my heart.

She's made with acrylic yarn, stuffed with

polyester filling, and added detail plastic safety eyes

so you can give it to a baby or a Riven main

and they won't choke on it.

Each amigurumi takes about 12w hours to create

from scratch. She's been doing this with her first

one made back in season 2!

She's combining two of her favorite things:

League and Cute Things.

Well, that's it for today!

You should probably submit some of your stuff to the show.

By the way, which champion would you

like to see go back to school with

and Academy skin? Make sure to put it in the comments.

That's all for this week, I'm Riot Swimbananas

and no, Lulu is not six foot tall, I used my ult!

Ha ha!

Coronation Street set to expose shocking Pat Phelan secret - Duration: 3:29.

Coronation Street set to expose shocking Pat Phelan secret

The villain has been part of the Coronation Street cast since 2013 and has been involved in some seriously dark storylines since.

Most recently, hes been keeping poor Andy Carver hostage after attacking him in January, leaving viewers assuming Andy was dead.

Fans saw his icy demeanour thaw when daughter Nicole Rubinstein arrived in Weatherfield, though Coronation Street spoilers hinted that will soon change now shes revealed shes pregnant with Gary Windass baby.

DARK PAST: Phelans troubling past looks set to be exposed.

EVIL: Phelan has been keeping Andy Carver hostage.

Lydia Hartman In scenes to air tonight, Nicola will pay a visit to her late mums friend Lydia Hartman.

The conversation soon turns to Nicolas parents and she shows Lydia a photo of herself with Phelan, explaining that hes her real dad after her mum had an affair.

Lydias initial reaction is of horror, suggesting there is even more than meets the eye when it comes to Phelan.

She jumps away from the selfie, but reassured Nicola, saying: Its just a shock, thats all..

PREGNANT: Phelan isnt happy that Nicola is carrying Garys baby.

Lydia explains she needs time to let the affair news sink in, though could it be something more sinister? Nicola seems to think it could be, so she begins to try and get to the bottom of it and find out whats actually going on.

It looks like the climax of Phelans ongoing feud with Anna Windass could be coming soon too, as filming photos showed Debbie Rush on the run from a mystery man.

SHOCKER: Nicole goes to visit her mums friend.

Next week, death will return to Weatherfield – sort of – after it was reported that former Corrie character Katy Armstrong will have an off-screen death.

This will lead Chesney Brown, who is in hospital at the time after collapsing, to rush to Portugal to be with their son.

Coronation Street continues tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month 2017 - Duration: 4:25.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

What is this?

This is to make sure that companies hire people who have disabilities.

Companies usually are scared in hiring people with disabilities because they have misconceptions.

One of the misconceptions that companies have is that people with disabilities are lazy.

This is not true at all.

People with disabilities are willing to work hard.

I knew several coworkers with a disability and they worked really hard.

They were appreciated in having a job.

Another misconception is that people with disabilities usually are late for work or

call off often.

This is also wrong.

Since people with disabilities usually take public transportation, they might be late

because the bus or taxi might be late

I have one more misconception and that people with disabilities are slow in getting things

done.

This might be true for some people with disabilities, but some people who do not have disabilities

might be slow too.

So how do you say you will hire a person who might be really slow?

You take risks all the time.

So why don't companies take the chance with people who have disabilities?

Disability Employment Awareness Month has to educate companies better that people with

disabilities have an asset to the company.

What do I mean by an asset?

Do you know that for every person with a disability they hire, they receive a tax break from the

federal government?

In my opinion, companies can save thousands of dollars, but they are too scared of hiring

people with disabilities especially having a physical disability.

When I looked for a job after HSBC, I had an interview.

The interview was my best interview ever.

The HR person asked me questions and she was very interested in me.

After that, the technical guy asked a lot of questions about programming and he was

totally impressed.

When I left the company, I thought I would have a job.

This company is in the fortune 500 companies so this was not a tiny company.

Later I found out the manager of the position that I applied said he didn't want me long

before I had the interview.

So I interviewed for no position.

When they liked me, they tried to get a position for me,

I am not mad for not getting the job, but what I am really mad is that they used the

interview to say yes they met their numbers for interviewing people with disabilities.

I was being used to rig the system with the federal government.

How many people with disabilities are actually employed?

Last year in 2016, the percentage was almost 18%.

How sad!

The first National Disability Employment Awareness Month was in 1945.

Let's see what was the percentage of people who had a disability and worked in 1945.

Oh my gosh, I can't find this answer.

I am really angry the National Disability Employment Awareness Month is 72 years old

and nothing has been accomplished.

Yes, American Disability Act was formed, but it didn't really help with employment.

We have to fight for more jobs for people with disabilities.

President Trump is trying to lower the corporate tax code so companies can hire more people.

So they have to hire more people with disabilities.

What do you think we should do to receive more opportunities to work.

Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

Bloopers That Will Change the Way You See These Horror Movies - Duration: 3:23.

Horror movies are full of shocking violence, terrifying monsters and, occasionally hilarious

bloopers, like these favorites we showed you last time around.

[Screaming]

"You must be f---ing joking!"

"Over here, over here, over here!

Oh, bollocks!

Okay, just, just, just f--- off!

F--- off!"

[Screaming]

"I actually bit her, I'm sorry."

But there are plenty more where those came from!

Here's a look at some more bloopers that completely change these horror movies.

Fright Night

The defining characteristics of a vampire have developed over more than a century of

fiction and film.

Everybody knows they sleep in coffins, go out only at night, and have big fangs they

use to puncture their victims' necks to more effectively drink their blood.

Countless vampire movies have featured scenes of vampires dramatically exposing those chompers,

but it loses its dramatic effect and descends into silliness if, say, those fangs were to

spontaneously fall out of an actor's mouth—as Christopher Mintz-Plasse discovered while

filming this scene for the 2011 Fright Night remake.

"Seriously, stay away - oh, f---.

My fang fell out."

Warm Bodies

Part horror, part comedy, Warm Bodies concerns a zombified young man stumbling around and

falling in love—and a kid's gotta eat, so there are plenty of zombie-on-human attack

scenes.

Here, star Nicholas Hoult is supposed to be going after some human prey, but he surprises

his co-star and crew with some goofing off, unleashing a loud, boisterous impression of

one of the backwoods torturers from Deliverance—a very different kind of horror movie.

"It's mine, m-----------."

[Scream] "Squeal like a pig, boy!"

[Laughter]

Hostel: Part II

Eli Roth's second Hostel is maybe even more gruesome than the first.

So many disturbing things go down: murder, torture, power saws used as weapons, soccer

played with a human head, and all kinds of the gory stuff that makes going to the movies

such a magical experience.

And yet the most unnerving thing to ever go down in the movie, the moment that will linger

with viewers for years to come, is this disturbingly funny outtake from Hostel: Part II where the

victims don't seem so sad after all:

"This man will show you the way."

Disturbia

The terror of seeing of a dead body is kind of at the center of the entire horror genre.

But if you're an actor, seeing festering, decaying bodies—either dummies or actors

in make-up—day in and day out takes the sting out of it.

So really, when a snickering Shia LeBeouf approaches some monstrosity on the set of

Disturbia and kisses it, he's just trying to jazz up his workday.

[Laughter] "And, cut!"

Young Frankenstein

Finally, the Mel Brooks classic Young Frankenstein isn't a horror movie itself, but it does perfectly

skewer old Hollywood horror movies.

Comedian Marty Feldman is one of the film's many bright spots, portraying Dr. Frankenstein's

faithful assistant Igor as some strange combination of maniac, pet, child, creep, and vaudeville

performer.

All those parts come into play in equal measure during this scene, when Feldman gets a little

too carried away and tears apart a prop with his teeth.

[Growling] "Stop it!"

"It's gonna be a long night, so if you need any help with the girls, don't hesitate-"

American Tries Russian Candy // TheCandyGuy - Duration: 4:27.

Welcome back to my channel TheCandyGuy where i talk about treats for the sweet tooth

Today i'm gonna try Russian candy

I tried to research this candy a little bit online but it's all in Russian

I have no sources or help to help me translate Russian

I did kind of figure out that some of them were kind of truffles

but that's all I can figure out

I got the candy from a customer actually a viewer. She came in the candy store and bought

candy and then left and that was it and she then came back I guess after seeing

I was here and handed me this candy and said here, here you go. I saw this I

thought that this is something you might want to show on your channel. I was just

overwhelmed like in shock. I was like "What? What's going on?"

"What? Oh my gosh" I think the fact that someone was thinking about me outside of

the realm of just watching my videos like I figure watch my videos enjoy and

then move on with life but the fact that someone was but I know some of you do this

You're out and about you see candy and you think of me

and that's...that's amazing

and so I was just overwhelmed that I

didn't even find out your name if you're watching I just want to say thank you

again I'm so grateful and now let's get to the reviewing and tasting of candy

I wasn't able to find out anything about this candy so I have no idea what

it's even what's in it was it about. Okay it has chocolate on the outside

and I kind of see some nuts, I think that's a marshmallow. Who knows

okay so the outside is chocolate possibly dark

chocolate the inside has peanuts and then there's a hard candy kind of holding it

all together like similar to the inside of Almond Roca or English toffee

that consistency in the middle

I have no idea what that kind of candy

texture is called, but it's really good it has a really good

Almond Roca, English toffee taste. A lot of peanut flavor I don't really taste the

chocolate so that's why I'm assuming is a dark chocolate. It's kind of light

Now lets try the ones that are possibly truffles

this one has on the side, its brandy and orange oh

yeah that one hand English on it. That was the only one

a truffle

it's a truffle

you kind of get the citrus flavor

and you do taste

a little bit of the alcohol I think

but I'm mainly getting the citrus flavor

that's pretty good. Alright now

On to the next one. This one has a 5 on it that's the only information I know about it

and it's another truffle and I have no idea what the insides gonna be

can you hear it crunching? That was weird because I didn't see anything in there that looks like it

was crunchy but it's on the top

I was wondering why I was crunching

the top has little chocolate, tiny little chocolate, hard, crunchy balls on the top

with chocolate on the outside, then the inside creamy but on the top layer

there's these little chocolate balls that crunch. They kind of worried me, like

what's crunching because I couldn't see it at first

so the five one, the truffle was good

the orange, brandy was way better and then the one I had earlier with

the milk chocolate I mean with the chocolate and the peanuts that one was really good

If you ever find those, come across candy from Russia

I recommend that the chocolate one with the peanuts. Thank you again to whoever

you were, that gave me the candy. I feel so bad I didn't get your name but

thank you again I greatly appreciate it

Thank you for watching this week's video of TheCandyGuy
