Grocery Haul Morrisons - Duration: 3:32.
Hi guys. This is the first part of my grocery haul for this week, it sort of
carries on from last week. We're just doing the shopping every couple of days. I've
just been up to Morrisons to get this. So I got sweet potatoes, popcorn because
we didn't have any of that. And then I got green lentils. I'm getting a bit of a glare
from the window today. I wanted to get quinoa but the quinoa was really
expensive so I got bulgur wheat instead and I have actually got quinoa growing
outside. So a few more weeks, I'm not sure when it's going to be ready to harvest
but it's starting to dry out. I should be hard to have my own and got
cinnamon these are just the refill pouches. I've got a single roll, it's got
a little bit squished in my backpack but that's for lunch today, I've got some
leftover roast chicken to go on it. Then I got ibruprofen and paracetamol
that's just stocking up. I got chickpeas which is for a vegetable
curry. More of these artichokes because I've been really enjoying these with
some parsley and linguini. It's such a quick dinner, some eggs and I bought
these hummus chips, this is why I shouldn't go to the supermarket because
I get way distracted and they looked quite tasty, they're just sea salt flavour and
they're made with chickpeas too. So it should be good. Some lasagna sheets,
another thing I got suckered into was this limited edition Bramley Apple
yogurt. It's the Yeo Valley one though and I normally get their Greek yogurt
so I thought that would make a nice change.
There was another variety of yogurts which was whipped Greek yogurts I don't
know if you've tried those but they looked quite tasty but I thought two pounds
for four was a little bit on the pricey side. So if you can recommend them then I
might go ahead and buy those I'm not sure. And then I also got a big bag of
mozzarella which is to go with the lasagna cuz I'm gonna do more lasagnas
for the freezer because that's been working really well for quick meals too.
So that's everything so far for this week there's a couple of cheese's that I
couldn't get and I think there was something else I needed to pick up at
Waitrose I can't remember what it was but I have got a list somewhere. Now this
came to 23 pounds but I did actually spend six pounds on two trays of violas
as well. Now they were on my list I could have got very carried away in there
because Morrison's have quite a nice selection of cheap plants and they, they
look quite healthy. This is the second shop this week from Morrison's Trevor has
been up and got fruit so we've got oranges, bananas and apples and then
we've got nectarines and these flat doughnut peaches I really like those and
then a pork joint but I don't know if you've been watching Jamie Oliver's show
with the five ingredients, I wanted to try his one that he did with pork loin but we
had a bit of a miscommunication with the pork loin fillet that I meant but that's
fine I can cook that up next week too. And then some milk and all of this
shopping for Morrison's was 13 pounds and 79 pence.
And then I picked up the last two bits I needed from Waitrose. So it was this
Taleggio cheese which I couldn't get in Morrison's and I also wanted to get
barley but I couldn't get barley either so I got this spelt and those two
together I think we're about four pounds. So with everything here and in the
previous little bit of shopping that's everything that we need for this week. um
I guess I'll have another haul for you next time. Thanks for watching guys.
