Waching daily Oct 25 2017

hey guys it's Ashley and today I'm gonna be showing you guys how I got my last

minute Mermaid Halloween Costume this video

is actually a collab with Tegan talks and Clariz I'll leave a link in the

Bio like if you go check it out alright let's jump right into it so the

first thing that you want to think about my making a Halloween costume is what

kind of things you already have at home and for me that was mermaid things I

have this shirt that I got from forever 21 a while ago and it was like only five

dollars so this is perfect. The next thing that I found was this material I

got from the local fabric store and I thought this would work perfectly as a

skirt. Next I went to the dollar store and I found these glass beads that I

used to make a necklace the next thing that I got at the dollar store were

these shells that I used to make a headband I just glued them onto an old

headband that I already had but I didn't like it very much so I ended up using

this shell clip instead

all right let's go put everything on now. As you can see I already have my shirt

on and the next thing to do is put on my necklace

now time for the hair clip and here's my skirt I just hold this material and have

to make a shorter skirt but you can always keep it long depending on what

type of look you're going for I didn't safety-pin the skirt or

anything I just tied it together and I felt like it was pretty secure so I kept

it like that but you can always safety pin it if you feel like it's gonna come

off to pull the outfit together I glued some shells onto some flip-flops

and there you have it my last minute DIY Halloween costume. Don't forget to check

out Clariz and Tegans channel to see what costumes they did. The links are in

LEADING NEUROSCIENTIST EXPLAINS HOW THE BRAIN HALLUCINATES REALI - Duration: 4:44.

LEADING NEUROSCIENTIST EXPLAINS HOW THE BRAIN HALLUCINATES REALITY

In a recent Ted Talk, neuroscientist Anil Seth revealed irrefutable proof that conscious

reality is not shaped by the world around us.

In fact, quite the opposite is true.

Our brain hallucinates our reality into being.

It uses past experiences and sensory data to make a series of predictions about the

outside world.

Through this process, it generates the world.

The world we experience comes as much, if not more, from the inside out as from the

outside in.

~ Anil Seth, Professor of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience at the University of Sussex,

United Kingdom

The Brain Creates Conscious Reality

Backed by various scientific experiments, Seth explains the process in which the brain

creates what we perceive as our conscious reality.

The brain uses sensory information in the world to help it form its best predictions

about what is possible.

Additionally, it assimilates our experiences of the physical body and applies that to our

perception of the self.

All of these experiences are further shaped by the biological functions that keep us alive.

Seth explains:

What we consciously see depends on the brains guess of whats out there.

Our experienced world comes from the inside out not just the outside in.

This applies to our experiences of what is and what is not our body.

These self-related predictions depend critically on sensory signals coming from deep inside

the body.

Seth believes that once the brain has made its predictions, it hallucinates an experience

that we perceive as reality.

Thus, in a sense, we are predicting ourselves and our world into existence in real-time.

Do We Have the Power to Change Reality?

Many believe that we have the power to shape reality.

This is exactly what Seth is also saying the brain creates, aka hallucinates, our conscious

reality.

Unfortunately, most people take their reality for granted.

We often believe that the world is what it is, and that we are just a tiny spec in a

much bigger organism.

We call this organism life, society, humanity, existence, etc.

Whatever nomenclature we choose, this bigger organism is actually a figment of our collective

consciousness.

A hallucination, per say, that we have all agreed on for thousands of years.

And since weve agreed upon it, we call it reality.

Consciousness and its influence over reality remain a great mystery of modern science.

We have yet to apprehend the full inner workings of the mind and its power over the human experience.

One thing neuroscientists, such as Anil Seth, are starting to reveal is that life is not

a random assembly of matter that sometimes produces a body and a conscious mind.

On the contrary, it is the conscious mind and our conscious experiences that create

and organize the world into being.

With a greater sense of understanding, comes a greater sense of wonder and a greater realization

that we are a part of and not apart from the rest of nature.

~ Anil Seth Final Thoughts

Lets be honest.

The idea that we can shape reality can be very exciting, but the concept may also seem

completely implausible.

Many of us feel like were the product of our parents, society and culture, barely in

control of our own lives.

Yet, the reality is that this is just what weve been programmed to believe.

Not only programmed by culture and media, but programmed on a cellular level through

our human ancestry.

For many of us, just entertaining the possibility of creating our own reality may be enough

to reshape our perceptions about what is possible.

This in itself could motivate you to pursue an ambition or dream you thought unattainable.

The Untold Truth Of ASMR - Duration: 6:27.

What in the world is ASMR?

The Guardian called it "a feeling of otherworldly relaxation…like your brain is melting in

a good way."

And, it comes from stuff like this:

Feeling good yet?

Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, or ASMR, is a unique phenomenon that causes a distinctive

sensation of tingling, relaxation, and well-being.

Recently, ASMR has moved from the dark corners of the internet to YouTube, and now everyone

can try it out.

So how does it work, and are you one of the people who can enjoy it?

Experts and "trigger artists" weigh in on ASMR's scintillating secrets.

Trigger happy

Maybe getting your hair washed sends a wave of tingles through your scalp.

Maybe you've always felt a strange kind of relaxation watching Bob Ross.

Maybe your yoga teacher's voice makes you feel a calm and blissful static.

Sound familiar?

You may have the ability to experience ASMR.

But the ASMR feeling doesn't just pop up out of nowhere.

As described in a paper in the scientific journal PeerJ, it has to be triggered — in

a good way — causing "feelings of relaxation and well-being."

Dr. Craig Richard, professor and founder of ASMR University, divides ASMR triggers into

three categories.

First, "Tactile stimuli" can include watching or experiencing "Light touch, massage, hair

touching, grooming, and physical examination.""

Next, "Visual stimulation" can include things like "eye gazing and observing slow [often

methodical] hand movements."

And lastly, "Auditory stimuli," involves specific "vocal types [like soft whispering], oral

sounds [like chewing], and object-related sounds [like crinkling]."

"At the end of the day I just like to take my bra off right away when I walk in my house.

And I like to get my back scratched right where the bra connects.

That's it."

ASMRtist, Tony Bomboni says his favorite triggers, quote, "Have to be water sounds, whispering

up close, typing sounds, white noise, and rumbling through packaging or plastic."

Remedy

One of the goals of the PeerJ study was to explore the "suggestion that ASMR may be of

use for providing temporary relief to individuals with depression, stress and chronic pain."

Self-reported results recorded a measureable improvement in mood, with the biggest margin

of relief found in the most serious sufferers.

Popular ASMR YouTubers claim that their videos will help you sleep, and so far, anecdotal

evidence seems to back them up.

Bomboni even said he avoids ASMR if he has things to do because he will too easily "drift

off."

New sensations

Many people compare the elusive and difficult to describe phenomenon of ASMR to the likes

of synesthesia, or misophonia.

Could these conditions, along with ASMR, work through similar biological, neurological,

or chemical functions?

Maybe.

If you experience one, you're slightly more likely to experience another.

Notably, the results of the PeerJ study, which discussed the similarities of these three

phenomena at the outset, found that a measurably higher percentage than the general population

of people who experience ASMR also experience synesthesia, suggesting a link requiring further

research.

Making a living

Bomboni, of the Tony Bomboni ASMR channel, makes creating online ASMR his full-time career,

using "five different microphones...two different cameras, two laptops, multiple mic stands,

[and] two sets of lighting equipment."

But Bomboni is far from the only one who makes a living creating tingly content.

Some mega-popular ASMR YouTubers, like Maria of Gentle Whispering ASMR, command over a

million subscribers.

It's not sexual

With videos of people whispering in your ear, pretending to massage your scalp, or giving

you intense, personal attention, this ASMR thing might seem like it tilts toward sex.

But most people who experience ASMR would probably tell you that's not true at all.

As one artist known as ASMR Darling says,

"…please do not think that ASMR is sexual at all.

ASMR itself is not sexual.

It is biologically not sexual."

Similarly, Bomboni says he has "given up trying to explain that it is not meant to be sexual,"

and that he does "think it is common now for ASMR to be sexualized," even if that's not

the intention.

Special request

Many ASMRtists claim they get ideas for their content based on user requests.

As a result, the web is flush with videos of roleplaying doctors giving cranial nerve

exams, makeup tutorials, neck massages, hair brushing, intimate talks with friends, and

optometrist appointments.

And there are also some super specific themes, such as roleplay vids "Store Clerk Examining

what you Stole" and "Sad Wedding Planner."

Hey, whatever makes you trigger!

There's a spa for that

In summer of 2017, BuzzFeed staffers tried out an "ASMR Spa" in New York City.

It turns out that Whisperlodge, a real ASMR day spa, doesn't necessarily feature traditional

spa treatments, but rather "trained guides [who] work one-on-one with each guest in a

series of visual, auditory, and haptic treatments designed to relax the body and mind."

With more locations set to open in California, it seems that in-person sessions might soon

become an option for ASMR enthusiasts.

Got ASMR?

Have you experienced the magic of ASMR?

Or… are you not quite sure?

If you want a methodical way of determining your status with ASMR, grab a pair of headphones,

go to YouTube, search "ASMR test," and see what happens!

"First of all, if you're listening, you're beautiful.

And you're a good person."

If you're obsessed with ASMR, or want to learn more about it, hit up the ASMR Research Project

website, and take the online survey for the lucky among us who experience ASMR.

Your answers could help scientists understand this weird and wonderful phenomenon, and how

it might be used around the world as a beneficial new therapeutic practice.

Last Minute Halloween Makeup Tutorial: 1 Look, 3 Ways | Julia Dantas | CBC Life - Duration: 3:26.

Hello everybody I am Julia Dantas and today I am going to show you three really easy

classic Halloween makeup costumes all based off of this makeup look right here

so you guys want to get some Halloween inspiration then please keep on watching

So for this look I want to pale out my face I'm going in with a lighter

foundation and then of course I'm gonna be applying a little bit of concealer

underneath my eyes and on the top of my forehead

so for this look the contour is really really important and that is

what's going to make this look really come to life so I'm mixing a cool tone

contour shade with a little bit of a grey shade and when I'm hollowing out my

cheeks I'm kind of bringing that downwards and then I'm just hollowing

out all of my prominent features I'm going back into that gray shade from my

Pierre Cosmetics palette and I'm using that to do my eyebrows so that

everything is really cool tone.

Moving on to the eyes in the same palette I'm

gonna be picking up a light brown color and I'm just gonna dust that right in my

crease as a base and then I'm gonna go back in to that gray shade with a little

bit of Fix+ and put that really pigmented on my

eyelid and then of course I'm gonna smoke out my bottom lash line as well

I'm also gonna bring this underneath my eyes to make them look super sunken in

and hollowed out

To finish off my eyes I'm gonna be applying a little bit of

black eyeliner and I just went ahead and popped on my lashes

Moving on to the

lips I want them to look super muted so I'm just applying a little bit of

concealer on them and then at the very center of my lips I'm applying a little

bit of that gray eyeshadow to make them look super spooky

So my first look is

you guessed it a mummy so I have a pre-soaked my cotton bandage in a little

bit of tea overnight and this is gonna give it that decaying distressed look

that I want and I'm just wrapping it around my head and neck

Moving on to look number two we are gonna turn this mummy into a scary

vampire so I'm just swapping out my lipstick to really sell this vampire

look and I'm also gonna shade in my lips with a little bit of black eyeliner to

give it that really ombred effect

For my third and final look we're gonna be

doing something a bit more on the spooky and grungy side so I'm gonna be turning

myself now into a ghost I have teased my hair up so it's super

super big and I'm spraying some white hairspray into my hair to really sell

this ghost look this look is definitely a little bit more fun and theatrical and

last not least I'm applying some fake cobwebs to my shoulders and neck area

That is my top three favourite last-minute Halloween costumes based all off of this

makeup right here which was super easy to achieve it's crazy how your

hair and your costume can change the whole vibe of your makeup right? And if you

Kettlebell Military Press Mastery - Duration: 6:32.

hmm according to research the kettlebell military press is a builder of strength

a toner of arms a stabilizer of cores and is perhaps the king of building

cannonball shoulders but with poor form it ends up becoming a dysfunctional pile

of goop and all of this means nothing but don't you fret because today your

boy Brian is gonna lead you down the path to kettlebell military press

mastery stick around

if you want an amazing press you need to start with an

amazing stance apply the following four keys number one keep your feet around

shoulder-width apart number two your knees must stay locked

number three make your chest big think Superman revealing his s and finally

number four grow as tall as you can from your heels up through the crown of your

head just imagine a string pulling you up maintain these four things throughout

the entire movement or else aliens will invade the earth and elect Justin Bieber

as Earth's new president and who wants that?

we call the bottom position of the military press the rack please observe

the following items every time you are at the bottom in the rack one keep your

wrist straight not flexed and definitely not extended back if you find your wrist

once to extend try setting the bell lower in your palm when viewed from the

front keep your forearm vertical you do not want to be losing or winning an arm

wrestling match 3 when viewed from the side you want your forearm to be

pointing ever so slightly backwards the kettlebell is in front of our shoulder

in the rack but we're gonna be pushing it slightly backwards to lock out

directly over our shoulder just keep your elbow barely in front of your fist

your palm should be facing sideways to you this will put the kettlebell right

on your bicep now you might be wondering how in the world did we get the

kettlebell to the rack in the first place well as a beginner

feel free to cheat curl it up with two hands but you're gonna want to start

learning how to do a kettlebell clean as soon as possible I'll leave links below

hey now that's what I call a nice rack you know what I mean

the top of our lift is called the lockout I've got four key tips for you

to have an amazing lockout tip one first off double check your foundation your

knees are still locked spine is still tall chest is still big and your wrist

is still straight check next at the top your palm should be forward this puts

the kettlebell above your shoulder turning out feels weak and turning in

puts the belt above your head a really bad idea

viewed from the front your elbow should be completely locked and your arms

straight up and down at the 12 o'clock position use a mirror to help viewed

from the side your arms should also be at the 12 o'clock locked position

not at 10 not at 11 not 11:45 but at 12 o'clock now that's what I call a nice

lock out we make any sense

okay guys and gals all of the previous tips simply

build a great foundation a great foundation equals a great press so

always check those fundamentals but now let's move on to some more advanced

pointers don't get into the bad habit of using your legs to move the kettlebell

keep those knees locked if the kettlebell is too heavy just grab

a lighter bell a really bad habit is to lead with the elbow this is just plain

ugly and it makes kittens cry the fist and the elbow should move up at the same

time think kettlebell up rather than elbow out exhale on the way up inhale on

the way down keep your mouth closed and breathe only through your nose on both

the inhale and exhale remember at the start the palms should face in half way

up the kettlebell should be halfway turned about 45 degrees and at the top

it should be totally straight ahead practice this without a kettlebell to

get really good at it don't be one of those people that brings their ear to

their bicep on every rep trust me your bicep doesn't have

anything interesting to say and finally it's okay to very slightly kick your

hips under your working arm to create better leverage just don't overdo it

those are what I call nice presses get it stupid now just get it ladies and

gentlemen if you follow the tips in today's video it will lead you down the

path to kettlebell military press mastery if you liked today's video

please leave a thumbs up if you would like to see a video like this about

another exercise in the future leave that down in the comments field and as

always make sure you hit subscribe and hit the little bell icon so that you are

alerted when future videos like this come out until next time go get strong

follow the tips in today's video you will become a badass military presser... take 2

now that's what I call a nice rack you know what I mean

Cryptography: Crash Course Computer Science #33 - Duration: 12:33.

Hi, I'm Carrie Anne, and welcome to CrashCourse Computer Science!

Over the past two episodes, we've talked a lot about computer security.

But the fact is, there's no such thing as a perfectly, 100% secure, computer system.

There will always be bugs and security experts know that.

So system architects employ a strategy called defence in depth, which uses many layers of

varying security mechanisms to frustrate attackers.

It's a bit like how castles are designed – first you've got to dodge the archers,

then cross the moat, scale the walls, avoid the hot oil, get over the ramparts, and defeat

the guards before you get to the throne room, but in this case we're talking about one

of the most common forms of computer security - Cryptography.

INTRO

The word cryptography comes from the roots 'crypto' and 'graphy', roughly translating

to "secret writing".

In order to make information secret, you use a cipher – an algorithm that converts plain

text into ciphertext, which is gibberish unless you have a key that lets you undo the cipher.

The process of making text secret is called encryption, and the reverse process is called

decryption.

Ciphers have been used long before computers showed up.

Julius Caesar used what's now called a Caesar cipher, to encrypt private correspondence.

He would shift the letters in a message forward by three places.

So, A became D, and the word "brutus" became this: "euxwxv".

To decipher the message, recipients had to know both the algorithm and the number to

shift by, which acted as the key.

The Caesar cipher is one example of a larger class of techniques called substitution ciphers.

These replace every letter in a message with something else according to a translation.

A big drawback of basic substitution ciphers is that letter frequencies are preserved.

For example, E is the most common letter in English, so if your cipher translates E to

an X, then X will show up the most frequently in the ciphertext.

A skilled cryptanalyst can work backwards from these kinds of statistics to figure out

the message.

Indeed, it was the breaking of a substitution cipher that led to the execution of Mary,

Queen of Scots, in 1587 for plotting to kill Queen Elizabeth.

Another fundamental class of techniques are permutation ciphers.

Let's look at a simple example, called a columnar transposition cipher.

Here, we take a message, and fill the letters into a grid.

In this case, we've chosen 5 by 5.

To encrypt our message, we read out the characters in a different order, let's say from the

bottom left, working upwards, one column at a time.

The new letter ordering, what's called a permutation, is the encrypted message.

The ordering direction, as well as the 5 by 5 grid size, serves as the key.

Like before, if the cipher and key are known, a recipient can reverse the process to reveal

the original message.

By the 1900s, cryptography was mechanized in the form of encryption machines.

The most famous was the German Enigma, used by the Nazis to encrypt their wartime communications.

As we discussed back in Episode 15, the Enigma was a typewriter-like machine, with a keyboard

and lampboard, both showing the full alphabet.

Above that, there was a series of configurable rotors that were the key to the Enigma's

encryption capability.

First, let's look at just one rotor.

One side had electrical contacts for all 26 letters.

These connected to the other side of the rotor using cross-crossing wires that swapped one

letter for another.

If 'H' went in, 'K' might come out the other side.

If "K' went in, 'F' might come out, and so on.

This letter swapping behavior should sound familiar: it's a substitution cipher!

But, the Enigma was more sophisticated because it used three or more rotors in a row, each

feeding into the next.

Rotors could also be rotated to one of 26 possible starting positions, and they could

be inserted in different orders, providing a lot of different substitution mappings.

Following the rotors was a special circuit called a reflector.

Instead of passing the signal on to another rotor, it connected every pin to another,

and sent the electrical signal back through the rotors.

Finally, there was a plugboard at the front of the machine that allowed letters coming

from the keyboard to be optionally swapped, adding another level of complexity.

With our simplified circuit, let's encrypt a letter on this example enigma configuration.

If we press the 'H' key, electricity flows through the plugboard, then the rotors, hits

the reflector, comes back through the rotors and plugboard, and illuminates the letter

'L' on the lampboard.

So H is encrypted to L.

Note that the circuit can flow both ways – so if we typed the letter 'L', 'H' would

light up.

In other words, it's the same process for encrypting and decrypting; you just have to

make sure the sending and receiving machines have the same initial configuration.

If you look carefully at this circuit, you'll notice it's impossible for a letter to be

encrypted as itself, which turned out to be a fatal cryptographic weakness.

Finally, to prevent the Enigma from being a simple substitution cipher, every single

time a letter was entered, the rotors advanced by one spot, sort of like an odometer in a

car.

So if you entered the text A-A-A, it might come out as B-D-K, where the substitution

mapping changed with every key press.

The Enigma was a tough cookie to crack, for sure.

But as we discussed in Episode 15, Alan Turing and his colleagues at Bletchley Park were

able to break Enigma codes and largely automate the process.

But with the advent of computers, cryptography moved from hardware into software.

One of the earliest software ciphers to become widespread was the Data Encryption Standard

developed by IBM and the NSA in 1977.

DES, as it was known, originally used binary keys that were 56 bits long, which means that

there are 2 to the 56, or about 72 quadrillion different keys.

Back in 1977, that meant that nobody – except perhaps the NSA – had enough computing power

to brute-force all possible keys.

But, by 1999, a quarter-million dollar computer could try every possible DES key in just two

days, rendering the cipher insecure.

So, in 2001, the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) was finalized and published.

AES is designed to use much bigger keys – 128, 192 or 256 bits in size – making brute force

attacks much, much harder.

For a 128-bit keys, you'd need trillions of years to try every combination, even if you

used every single computer on the planet today.

So you better get started!

AES chops data up into 16-byte blocks, and then applies a series of substitutions and

permutations, based on the key value, plus some other operations to obscure the message,

and this process is repeated ten or more times for each block.

You might be wondering: why only ten rounds?

Or why only 128 bit keys, and not ten thousand bit keys?

Well, it's a performance tradeoff.

If it took hours to encrypt and send an email, or minutes to connect to a secure website,

people wouldn't use it.

AES balances performance and security to provide practical cryptography.

Today, AES is used everywhere, from encrypting files on iPhones and transmitting data over

WiFi with WPA2, to accessing websites using HTTPS.

So far, the cryptographic techniques we've discussed rely on keys that are known by both

sender and recipient.

The sender encrypts a message using a key, and the recipient decrypts it using the same key.

In the old days, keys would be shared by voice, or physically; for example, the Germans distributed

codebooks with daily settings for their Enigma machines.

But this strategy could never work in the internet era.

Imagine having to crack open a codebook to connect to youtube!

What's needed is a way for a server to send a secret key over the public internet to a

user wishing to connect securely.

It seems like that wouldn't be secure, because if the key is sent in the open and intercepted

by a hacker, couldn't they use that to decrypt all communication between the two?

The solution is key exchange!

– An algorithm that lets two computers agree on a key without ever sending one.

We can do this with one-way functions – mathematical operations that are very easy to do in one

direction, but hard to reverse.

To show you how one-way functions work, let's use paint colors as an analogy.

It's easy to mix paint colors together, but it's not so easy to figure out the constituent

colors that were used to make a mixed paint color.

You'd have to test a lot of possibilities to figure it out.

In this metaphor, our secret key is a unique shade of paint.

First, there's a public paint color that everyone can see.

Then, John and I each pick a secret paint color.

To exchange keys, I mix my secret paint color with the public paint color.

Then, I send that mixed color to John by any means – mail, carrier pigeon, whatever.

John does the same – mixing his secret paint color with the public color, then sending

that to me.

When I receive John's color, I simply add my private color to create a blend of all

three paints.

John does the same with my mixed color.

And Voila!

We both end up with the same paint color!

We can use this as a shared secret, even though we never sent each other our individual secret

colors.

A snooping outside observer would know partial information, but they'd find it very difficult

to figure out our shared secret color.

Of course, sending and mixing paint colors isn't going to work well for transmitting

computer data.

But luckily, mathematical one-way functions are perfect, and this is what Diffie-Hellman

Key Exchange uses.

In Diffie-Hellman, the one-way function is modular exponentiation.

This means taking one number, the base, to the power of another number, the exponent,

and taking the remainder when dividing by a third number, the modulus.

So, for example, if we wanted to calculate 3 to the 5th power, modulo 31, we would calculate

3 to the 5th, which is 243, then take the remainder when divided by 31, which is 26.

The hard part is figuring out the exponent given only the result and the base.

If I tell you I raised 3 to some secret number, modulo 31, and got 7 as the remainder, you'd

have to test a lot of exponents to know which one I picked.

If we make these numbers big, say hundreds of digits long, then finding the secret exponent

is nearly impossible.

Now let's talk about how Diffie-Hellman uses modular exponentiation to calculate a

shared key.

First, there's a set of public values – the base and the modulus, that, like our public

paint color, everyone gets to know... even the bad guys!

To send a message securely to John, I would pick a secret exponent: X.

Then, I'd calculate B to the power of X, modulo M.

I send this big number over to John.

John does the same, picking a secret exponent Y, and sending me B to the Y modulo M.

To create a shared secret key, I take what John sent me, and take it to the power of

X, my secret exponent.

This is mathematically equivalent to B to the XY modulus M.

John does the same, taking what I sent to him to the power of Y, and we both end up

with the exact same number!

It's a secret shared key, even though we never sent each other our secret number.

We can use this big number as a shared key for encrypted communication, using something

like AES for encryption.

Diffie-Hellman key exchange is one method for establishing a shared key.

These keys that can be used by both sender and receiver, to encrypt and decrypt messages,

are called symmetric keys because the key is the same on both sides.

The Caesar Cipher, Enigma and AES are all symmetric encryption.

There's also asymmetric encryption, where there are two different keys, most often one

that's public and another that's private.

So, people can encrypt a message using a public key that only the recipient, with their private

key, can decrypt.

In other words, knowing the public key only lets you encrypt, but not decrypt – it's

asymmetric!

So, think about boxes with padlocks that you can open with a key.

To receive a secure message, I can give a sender a box and padlock.

They put their message in it and lock it shut.

Now, they can send that box back to me and only I can open it, with my private key.

After locking the box, neither the sender, nor anyone else who finds the box, can open

it without brute force.

In the same way, a digital public key can encrypt something that can only be decrypted

with a private key.

The reverse is possible too: encrypting something with a private key that can be decrypted with

a public key.

This is used for signing, where a server encrypts data using their private key.

Anyone can decrypt it using the server's public key.

This acts like an unforgeable signature, as only the owner, using their private key, can

encrypt.

It proves that you're getting data from the right server or person, and not an imposter.

The most popular asymmetric encryption technique used today is RSA, named after its inventors:

Rivest, Shamir and Adleman.

So, now you know all the "key" parts of modern cryptography: symmetric encryption,

key exchange and public-key cryptography.

When you connect to a secure website, like your bank, that little padlock icon means

that your computer has used public key cryptography to verify the server, key exchange to establish

a secret temporary key, and symmetric encryption to protect all the back-and-forth communication

from prying eyes.

Whether you're buying something online, sending emails to BFFs, or just browsing cat videos,

cryptography keeps all that safe, private and secure.

Thanks cryptography!

Model Model Synthetic 6 inch Lace Front Wig Layton Wig Review| Glamourtress - Duration: 7:01.

Hey YouTube Fam. It's ya girl Lia back with another video and today's video as

you can see from the title and from the wig cap as per usual. Now I've noticed a

lot of people come on here with wigs already on then switch out to their wigs

but I'm like oh no no no I'm gonna let my insecurities hang through and come

through with the wig cap on. But it is another Wig Review Wednesday. Now today's

wig was brought to me by the lovely people at glamourtress.com. Make sure

you check them out. They sent me the Model Model Layton wig.

Now the Layton wig runs at 32.99 and they highlight very clearly for

you guys that this is a 6 inch lace part wig. Now this is the longest wig

parting space-wise that I've had so far. You guys know I've had a 4 inch and I

would like wow. I had a 5 inch and I was like ok I see this thing. 6 inches now now this is the

longest part I've ever had and I don't know how to react to it. Now you guys

know I'm a part junky. I have to have a wig with a realistic part if it

doesn't then you're not even a lace front wig you're just at that point

you know a wig. I like my parting space to be there. I normally like a parting

space that's also to the side but Layton allows me to go outside of my comfort

zone and have a middle part. So without me rambling on

let's unbox this wig. The box is a lot different than any other model model wig

that I have tried so far. It is in the color 2. I didn't mention that at

first but why should I mention that when you guys know I'm so unoriginal with my

colors except for you know I've recently stepped into the blonde game but I

always go back to 2. So this is what she looks like fresh out of the pack and

guess what I didn't cut the lace already there isn't it lace here. There's no lace

to cut. It's pre-cut for you guys which is awesome.

So this isn't a lace hole you know they have the whole bit of lace this is the

lace part wig. So the only part that is lace is the parting space the 6 inch.

Look at this. It's a centipede shape. Look at that. There's no place to cut which is

perfect for you guys who are beginners. You guys always say in my videos you

you want to see me actually cut the lace and

a couple videos that I did recently I have cut the lace so you guys can kind

of see how that works but in this case I don't even have to do that. I can just

plop it on. Looking at the parting space just I'll bat I can tell that I'm not

gonna have to conceal it already. Look how amazing that is

and oh you can see right through it. You see skin straight through the wig. Um so

no plucking which is also one of my faves .Now you guys know I have these

smallest head ever. I'm gonna go ahead and put it on the tightest little strap

that it can go on. So this is what it looks like straight on. Like I said no

need to kind of conceal the part because the part is already really natural and

realistic anyways. I am noticing a little hump up here but I'm gonna go and flat

iron my hair to kind of get that to lay down a little bit flatter and then I'll

come back and let you guys know how the shedding how everything works with this

wig so I'll be right back so I have gone ahead and played around with this wig

upstairs and I came outside and natural sunlight because I like for you guys to

see how the wig looks in real life outside so I went upstairs and play

around with this wig but it didn't take a lot to play around with that all it

took me less than five minutes all I did was kind of put some heat in the parting

space to let this lay as flat as it possibly can and that's pretty much it

this is how the wig looks straight out the box so I'd give this wig and a plus

for being able to go from box to head in a matter of second so if you're a

beginner I think this wig is very very beginner friendly now in terms of the

color too very much true to life I don't think you can really mess up a two but

you could but this looks very much so like a - the curls are amazing

they feel amazing I've played around with the curls and kind of loosened up

the ones around my face a little bit so like kind of separated these and they

look so beautiful love it haven't had any shedding any shedding whatsoever

when I say zero percent shedding I mean literally no shedding whatsoever which

is amazing I didn't have to cut around the lace so I don't even have that

normal lace around the lace shedding the air parting area sometimes I have

shedding didn't have that this time which is why it gets my seal of

approval I'd say the one thing that is kind of throwing me off a little bit is

this six inch part you know you get what you ask for I want a long part you guys

know I love long parts but I think it would be a little bit better at five

inches that's my only quill I think sometimes I think five inches five to

four inches is probably my safe area it just goes a little bit too far back so

it's about from here to here which i think is kind of unrealistic in like

real life but I that's it that's my only kind of like gripe and it's not really a

gripe it's just kind of weird I think it's also because my head is so small

you have a kind of a larger head I don't think it'll go as far back as mine does

but my head is so small is it go goes a little bit further back than normal for

me but other than that I have no complaints about this hair this hair is

gorgeous the weight of it isn't even it's like a blow well I would say if you

had your hair blown out professionally I think that's kind of the density that

I'm feeling and if you had it kind of reminds me of my own hair truth be told

I mean feels really no different than my own hair I think the lace doesn't

require any concealing so you don't have to use the concealer method you don't

have to cut it so like I said this is the six inch lace part wig a six inch

hand a tied parting space wig by model model it is synthetic hair of course so

that quiet rings you that $32.99 price point but I'd say for it to be synthetic

it feels very much so Remy touch I definitely give it that so yeah make

sure you check out glamour trust I'll leave the link down below for a glamour

trade so you can check out their site as well as its hair specifically a

beautiful wig definitely check it out has a lot of other colors as you can see

from right here so let me know your thoughts down below make sure as always

you comment down below letting me know whether it's a yes or a no for you make

sure you give this video a big thumbs up make sure you subscribe if you haven't

Destiny 2 Strange Hive Pods Explained on Titan - Duration: 13:04.

Welcome back Guardians, in today's Destiny 2 lore episode we are going to explain what

exactly is happening on Titan, which involves those strange Hive pods, Savathun and the

giant beast in the depths of Titan.

(Titan beast footage) Once again, thank you for your support on

Patreon.

Gammatrap has produced some more phone wallpapers, Amanda Holliday will be uploaded very shortly

and available to Patreons.

She will be added to the collection of digital artwork and 3D phone wallpapers.

(patreon images from Osiris) This is myelin games and I hope you enjoy

this latest Destiny 2 lore episode.

[INTRO] To really understand what is inside these

Hive pods (Hive pods, festering halls), you need to understand why the Hive are on Titan.

If you are anything like me, I didn't really understand why we were sent to Titan, apart

from trying to retrieve Zavala (Zavala on titan footage).

The basic premise is that Zavala went to Titan to try and build a resistance to strike back

at the Cabal, even though this is stated in the very first mission, I must have not read

the mission description the first time around (arrow pointing to Titan).

Sloane (Sloane as npc) also summarizes the importance of Titan in prepping a fleet, arming

guardians and specifically decrypting Red Legion transmissions.

She says.

Commander if I may, Guardian this is deputy commander Sloane.

We have a counter-offensive to plan.

To do that, we need to get this station up and running.

There's a fleet to prep, Guardians to arm, and a trove of intercepted Red Legion transmissions

to decrypt.

It's critical we gain access to the station's control center.

That's where you come in.

If the Light really is with you, send the Hive back to hell.

Decrypting Red Legion transmissions actually becomes a central mission for being on Titan,

in fact it is the reason for why Guardians are sent into the Arcology, (Golden CPU) we

are tasked with retrieving a golden age CPU which is predicted to provide enough power

to decrypt Cabal transmissions.

Although it is not every explicitly said, I imagine this is why Zavala came to Titan,

Zavala realized that Titan was a previous Golden Age colony and may contain technology

to win the war.

Many scannables reference what Titan was like during the Golden Age, including numerous

marketing campaigns to entice colonists to the moon of Saturn.

"Screen's dead, but the feed's still running.

Ooh, kind of a catchy jungle.

"New pacific archology!

The next frontier is you!"

"The screen is broken, but the data flow is intact.

It's streaming some kind of commercial, talking about all the wonders of living on

the "new frontier of humanity."

Heeuh.

So, Zavala comes to Titan, (cutscene with Zavala) hoping to salvage any golden age relics

and formulate a plan to defeat Ghaul, BUT little did he know that the Hive had already

invested the planet (invested tunnels).

So, what are the Hive doing on Titan?

Well essentially the Hive on Titan are doing the exact same thing as what the Hive did

on the Moon in Destiny 1, they are building an army and trying to summon their Hive god,

most likely Savathun, Oryx's sister.

If you remember back to Destiny 1, in our dimension, the moon had a summoning crystal

(the wakening mission), and the same crystal existed in Crota's throne world (crota end

raid), for whatever reason, Crota needed to be summoned from his throne world to our dimension.

It is never really explained why Crota could not just enter our dimension and needed to

be summoned, but essentially the Hive were breeding an army on the Moon and then Crota

was to be summoned to the Moon to then invade Earth.

Obviously, we interrupt the summoning ritual in the Dark Below Campaign by destroying the

crystal (destroy crystals) and then we head into Crota's throne world during the Crota's

End raid, defeating Crota once a for all (killing crota).

For those who are unfamiliar with the Books of Sorrow, to truly defeat the Hive gods,

you must kill them in their Throne worlds.

Oryx and his sisters, Savathun and xivu arath each created their own throne worlds, essentially,

other dimensions that protected them from dying.

(Oryx taken himself) So like the moon, I believe the exact same

thing is occurring on Titan; the Hive are building an army and they are trying to summon

Savathun from her Throne world to our dimension.

The Strike mission, Savathun's Song, is the main evidence for this where we literally

stop a summoning ritual by the Hive.

Your ghost says, (savathun song mission) Taeko: Im looking at a hell of a summoning

ritual.

Biggest Shrieker I've seen in all my lives.

Mark my words, something real mean and real old is gonna use that thing to lay eyes on

this planet Considering there are multiple Hive enemies

that reference Savathun (savathun enemy) and multiple scannables that reference Savathun

and the name of the strike mission is Savathun's Song, it is heavily implied that the Hive

are trying to summon Savathun to our dimension.

Further-more, there is a scannable that reinforces the idea of crystals being teleport links

between our dimension and the Hive throne world, have a listen,

"It seems like these floating stones mark places where the Hive have weakened the line

between our world and theirs.

Bet all the weird magic they have out here comes from sources like this."

I think you can say with a high level of confidence that the Hive are trying to summon Savathun

from her throne world to our dimension, and like the moon, the Hive already on Titan are

building and establishing Savathun's army.

Now, here is where it gets really interesting and the Hive do something that we have not

quite seen before.

They have two components for breeding the Hive, the first component is the Hive bodies

themselves and the second component is the worm inside the Hive.

Most of you likely know by now, but just in case you don't, the Hive have a worm inside

of them (worm popping out).

Oryx formed a symbiotic pact with the worm gods on the planet the fundament, Oryx struck

a bargain with the worms gods, who are agents of the Darkness, similar to how the Traveler

is an agent of the light.

The pact with the worms required the Hive to keep killing, death fed their worms and

in turn granted more power, however, if they Hive failed to feed their worms through killing,

their worm would consume them.

So, I believe that the yellow sacs on Titan contain the physical bodies of the Hive being

breed.

This is reinforced in the first Titan mission called Hope.

In that mission we have to clear out the Hive Breeding ground by destroying the yellow sacs.

(yellow breeding sacs) The second component to create the Hive, is

the worm.

It appears that the Hive are breeding the worms too.

Have a listen, "It's a cocoon of some kind.

The life inside it isn't Hive, exactly.

This could be how the Hive's symbiont worms grow."

Now, this is interesting for multiple reasons.

In the Books of Sorrow, Oryx was given the worm larvae from the worm gods, and even though

we saw the worms on the Dreadnaught, I don't believe we have seen the Hive breed the worms

themselves.

In fact, this is what Oryx discovered is that he could never truly become powerful because

he was given the worms, and the Sword logic demands that they take, it was this realization

that led Oryx to kill one of the worm gods, Aka, which then gave Oryx the power to become

the Taken king.

So, instantly I think, Savathun is the sister of trickery and cunning, she is breeding the

worms, if she has the ability to breed the worms, would you she not breed them so that

they would no longer harm the Hive, whilst still granting them power?

So this is what I am speculating, the Hive are exactly doing this, they are breeding

a different version of worms on Titan and we can see this evolution and experimentation

in the cocoons of the Worm as the Hive perfect the breeding.

Have a listen to this scannable, "These Hive spawn pods are different from

the ones we say before.

Maybe a different brood.

Or a different generation.

Gross and confusing."

As you can see this cocoon looks different from the first worm scannable.

Is this the first stage of upgrading the worms.

Then we find another cocoon that reads, "Yet another strain of Hive.

They're doing an awful lot of testing out here.

Trying new things with magic and ugh breeding."

This to me confirms my theory, the Hive are experiment with breeding and I think they

are specifically experimenting with breeding the Hive worms.

Lastly, we can see what I believe to be the final form of the experiment, a very advanced

looking cocoon with a rune etched on the side.

Have a listen, "We saw this rune before, on the Dreadnaught.

It means either "doorway" or "treasure" or "chamber" Perhaps the Hive use this

run to tap into their Throne-world dimensions."

Could this be the final worm experiment, that the Hive created this cocoon and using their

magic connected the cocoon to their throne world, changing the very nature of the worms,

allowing the Hive to breed the worms to grant them power but without any of the drawbacks.

Of course this is complete speculation, however I do believe it reasonable that this rune

cocoon contains the worms because the pods are often consistently positioned next to

live worms, almost as if they have hatched.

(worm pods next to each other) Furthermore, we see Titan hollowed out by Hive tunnels,

filled with the yellow sacs and these strange pods.

Which once again to me indicates that this is the final stage of their worm experiment.

Their breeding grounds are full of the yellow sacs and these strange pods. (tank mission)

I think at the very least, there is enough evidence in the scannables to suggest that

the Hive are experimenting with breeding the worms.

From my point of view, the idea of the Hive creating a synthetic worms on Titan makes

sense, because Savathun is the sister of cunning and trickery and in addition, she was in possession

of the Vex mind, Quria blade transform and this vex mind that was trying to simulate

the Hive worms.

I wonder if the Vex mind was used in the process of experimentation and breeding of the worms.

If you believe this theory, then this is where things really start to get scary, because

in the depths of Archology lurks what I believe to be massive Hive worm, which I believe is

supported not only by the appearance of the creature but because we know the Hcive are

experimenting with worm breeding on Titan.

So if this is a worm, who is the most likely candidate… that's right a Hive god?

What other Hive entity would be large enough to receive this worm?

Has Savathun created a Giant synthetic worm to replace her own and free her of the worm

bargain?

Lets just hope we can prevent Savathun from ever being summoned.

That concludes this latest Destiny 2 lore episode, if you would like to support the

channel, leave the word, Worms, to symbolize the new breed of worms on Titan.

As usual it has been a pleasure, this is myelin games.

Peace.
