A dozen U.S. senators have sent a letter to the State Department... asking that North

Korea be added back... to Washington's list of state terrorism sponsors,

This comes amid a push by the parents of Otto Warmbier,... an American college student who

died... after being detained by the rogue state for over a year.

Noteworthy political names like Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Sherrod Brown... highlighted

the broad support for the move... from both sides of the aisle.

Currently, only three countries fall under the U.S. list of state terrorism sponsors:

Iran, Syria and Sudan.

North Korea was on the list from 1988 until 2008,... before it was removed by the George

W. Bush administration,.... following Pyongyang's agreement to allow greater supervision of

its nuclear programs.

In order to be listed,... the Secretary of State must review all available evidence...

that clearly links state activities of the country in question... to international terrorism.

North Korea has already drawn international rebuke.... for its continued nuclear and missile

tests.

British author wins Nobel literature prize for 2017 - Duration: 0:57.

British author Kazuo Ishiguro has been named the winner... of this year's Nobel Prize in

Literature.

Upon receiving the news... the 62-year-old expressed hopes... the prize would be a force

for good... at a very uncertain time in our world.

In 1989, he won the Man Booker Prize for The Remains of the Day... and was awarded the

Order of the British Empire in 1995... for his services to literature.

Born in Nagasaki in 1954,... nine years after the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese

city,... Ishiguro moved to the UK at the age of five,... only returning to his country

of birth some 3 decades later.

His debut novel,...

"A Pale View of Hills" and the subsequent...

"An Artist of the Floating World"... both take place in Nagasaki... a few years after

World War Two.

This year's selection for the honors marks a return to traditional literature... following

two years of unconventional choices by the Swedish Academy.

Following the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas,... the gun lobby in the United States

seems to be yielding in favor of stricter firearms regulations.

The National Rifle Association announced on Thursday,... it would support tougher regulation

of bump stocks.

That refers to modifications that allow semi-automatic rifles to simulate fully-automatic action,...

like the one used in Sunday's massacre.

The attack that took more than 58 lives and wounded at least five-hundred people... has

re-ignited debate in Washington over gun control.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders welcomed the NRA's announcement... and added

the administration is "open" to discussing changes to bump stock regulations.

Okay so question three Bob from New South Wales. Hi guys I just wondered what

your thoughts are on the legal marijuana stocks used in medicine. We probably

both will have some comments. I know you might have looked into a few names there.

Yeah well I did but I'm not well I'm using one as an example. Okay good.

I'll just come out with a comment is that I think this

is a definitely a very promising space over the long term. I mean there are and

research is really only being started now because you know have been such

restrictions on marijuana but there are serious health benefits in treatment

of anxiety and etc. That's only really starting to be realized in the US

where a lot of these big legal marijuana companies are starting to get a little

bit of a name. There are still restrictions because some states have

legalized marijuana medical marijuana in some states haven't and it's

still a federally illegal drug. So it's a very complicated industry

that's probably going to take a lot longer to mature than it should which

just to me means that it's a little bit of a crapshoot in the short term. You

know if you find the right name with a good management team and really are

prepared to hold a long term and I'm a really mean long term, I think some of

these names could do fantastically well. But it's going to take some time in my

view. Yeah I suppose I half agree with Shannon. I know many of these cannabis

stocks have shot up a lot recently but there are also a lot of them that

have listed and come into existence or companies that were doing something else

that are now moving into this space, and I feel like a lot of these gains relate

to the hype rather than absolute. You know that most of them aren't making revenues.

I think when a company has it has a purpose and then it pivots into

legalized marijuana that says something doesn't it? It's a

real boom at the moment. Right and I think

part of the hype might be related to the fact that people are expecting high

margins on cannabis but you've got to remember that high margins exist for

illegal products because they're illegal because there are huge risks involved in

production and distribution. If something like marijuana becomes legal then you're

going to expect the profit margins to drop significantly from when they were

illegal. So I don't know if some of the hype is related to that. I looked at one

stock in particular, SCV which jumped 50 fold in one day when

it announced in March that it was moving into cannabis. But since then

the share price has declined almost back to where it started. I think

that's appropriate. You know until it starts making money

out of it, yeah it is just hype. So basically my takeaway which was yours

as well is is to wait until the sector is more mature and then you can see

which companies are actually profitable and you know doing well in this space

Finn Barton died minutes into the episode as teased by Emmerdale spoilers, leaving his brothers Ross and Pete devastated.

His pal Victoria Sugden rushed to phone Finns BFF Tracy Metcalfe, who was back in the village at the Woolpack.

As Vic broke the tragic news to a dumbfounded Tracy, fans couldnt help but notice something seemed seriously wrong.

HEARTBREAK: Pete Barton was devastated by Finns death.

DEAD: Finn Barton died in tonights episode.

Emmerdale fan Tracy broke down in tears as Victoria relayed the news – but it appeared she was holding her phone the wrong way around.

A number of viewers pointed out the phone faux pas, sharing screenshots of the moment on Twitter.

One said: Anyone else notice that Tracey was holding her phone upside down during that phone call? Another pointed out: Can someone please tell Tracey shes got her phone upside down..

OOPS: It looked like Tracys phone was upside down.

SPOTTED: Emmerdale fans quickly shared their confusion about the phone.

While others couldnt conceal their confusion over the matter either.

Elsewhere in tonights episode, Moira woke up in hospital after suffering a postpartum hemorrhage.

She awoke to the news that Emma Barton had kidnapped her newborn and later found out about Finns death.

TEARS: Victoria broke the news to Tracy.

Meanwhile, Emma spoke the spirit of ex-husband James, who was encouraging her to return the baby.

She eventually abandoned him in the church where Harriet found him, before heading to the viaduct and stepping towards the edge.

Could the double murderer be about to jump to her own death? Emmerdale continues tomorrow night at 7pm on ITV.

Advanced Arsenal Reloaded [Doom mod] - Duration: 14:13.

This gameplay is on the "Private 1st Class", difficulty level the Ultra-Violence equivalent.

The extra difficulty levels are plain unplayable. Just the shotgun marine kills you with

practically with a shot and he has great accuracy and speed. I chose the "Heavy" class as well.

The weapons control here are excellent and their sound effects are good too, however

I particularly don't like sprites like that. They look kinda dead next to the rest of the game.

Also, the most attentive will notice that some enemies sprites are with problems as well.

Now, I'll show you the other classes and the extra hard difficult levels.

You will notice that it seriously needs balancing. Not even an masochist can play this.

The marine that replaces the Zombieman is still easy to kill, but the one that replaces Imp is

absolutely wretched. And note that the class that I have chosen now, "Spec-Ops", is the one I liked the best.

They will kill you with a single shot and don't even infight each others. I'd, at least, make them less accurate.

Maybe this would make the levels above the Private 1st Class more playable and enjoyable.

Each of the protagonist classes present their unique initial weapons, speed etc.

I briefly played a skirmish against bots in Zandronum and looks like it can be multiplayed.

Argh. Enough of this. I'm going to Map 32 to show a bit of the rest of the weapons.

This is going to take a while. Everybody in True Hell, except me, has lot of fucking health.

To make things worse, the Wolfenstein SS can kill you with single shot too. Since it's hard to get

Invulnerability sphere without taking a hitscan shot on this map, I'll use a different strategy.

Cyberdemon also has fuckload of health too. It took me so long to kill this punk that I got RSI.

The BFG 11K isn't in the style of the other weapons, technologically and visually speaking.

it was a good idea to add it here. A BFG can always have an interesting role in gameplay.

What a marathon. By this time, my my wrist was already burning with repetitive strain injury.

We can't see in the video, but the Cyberdemon has 20,000 health on this difficulty level.

I think it'd be impossible to kill this bastard without IDFA, because we'd run out of ammo before.

Advanced Arsenal is still being developed, but it is already pretty fun to play.

The mod's highlights are the weapons controls, their sound effects and the hero classes, each

with with their own peculiarities. However, some monsters and weapons sprites could use

some enhancement. It could also get a nicer title and intermission and, above all, adjustments or

balancing in some enemies, especially at the extra hard difficulty levels. A good deal of

challenge in Doom can always be welcome. All the shooting and the adrenaline make you don't give up

until you beat the map. However, there must be SOME way to win. I mean, I'm not that bad, the thing is

that even the Commander Keen had his health exaggeratedly buffed... In my humble opinion, the

extra difficulty can be one of the highlights of this PWAD, however it needs to be adjusted.

your thoughts on Bitcoin? Is it worth investing in? Thank you.

So we've had a lot of questions on Bitcoin recently it's becoming more and

more...usually when something's gone on a rally... So I mean

my view is that you should stay away from it. I mean number one, the volatility is

insane. It could easily drop 50 percent

in a day that wouldn't be that wouldn't be outrageous for Bitcoin. Your question

"is it worth investing in it?" I really don't even see it as an investment.

It's not a real asset, it doesn't have any earnings, doesn't have a return.

It's pure speculation on the price you know if you buy it that's what

you're hoping to achieve, which is different from buying a stock where

there's a company behind it. It has a business model you know hopefully either

has earnings or will have earnings in the future. That's not the case with

with Bitcoin. The other problem I have with it is that there's seemingly an

unlimited supply of competition, and we just know that recently hundreds

of competitors to Bitcoin have popped up. Some of them more successful than others

There's theoretically no limit to how many more can pop up.

People seem to be creating these things out of thin air on a daily basis. So

as I said I'd be steering clear, but if you do decide to invest just be prepared

that you could lose a lot of money quickly if it goes badly. I

don't doubt that you can also make a lot of money as well if if you get lucky, but

Korea, U.S. agrees to amend bilateral FTA - Duration: 2:21.

After the initial deadlock,... some visible progress in the ongoing trade negotiations

between South Korea and the U.S..

The two sides gathered for a second round of discussions in Washington,... where they

agreed to push for an amendment... to their five-year-old FTA

Kim Ji-yeon gets us up to speed with the developments.

Korea and the United States agreed to amend their bilateral free trade agreement to further

strengthen mutual benefits... after a second round of talks held between Trade Minister

Kim Hyun-chong and his U.S. counterpart Robert Lighthizer in Washington.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy says... the two sides agreed on the need for

changes... after extensive discussions on various issues related to the deal as well

as the focus and direction of an amendment.

(Korean) "Both sides each discussed in-depth sectors

they're concerned about.

We've presented our research findings in detail and the U.S. has listened attentively.

We've even exchanged views on some of the issues."

With this, the ministry says it will carry out necessary procedures to begin negotiations

for an amendment starting next week,... including a study, public hearings and reports to the

National Assembly.

Heated debate is expected on the impact on the country's automobile, steel and agricultural

sectors... while the amendment process itself could be initiated early next year.

Political parties from both ends of the spectrum responded that the government should prioritize

national interests.

The ruling Democratic Party called for cooperation from rival parties... and the main opposition

Liberty Korea Party echoed the sentiment... although criticizing the government for giving

into U.S. pressure.

In the five years since the FTA came into effect in 2012... bilateral trade between

the two countries reached 112-point-2-billion U.S. dollars... with Korea being the sixth

largest trading partner of the U.S.

The move is seen as a concession by Seoul... to the requests from Washington,... which

sees the deal as unfavorable to American businesses and workers.

Calls to terminate the FTA came about after U.S. President Donald Trump called it a "job

killer" and a "horrible deal" during his presidential campaign last year.

Young people 'home alone' during Chuseok holidays - Duration: 1:54.

Chuseok or Korean thanksgiving... often involve cross-country trips to attend family gatherings,...

but times are a changing.

Some Koreans plan to spend the holidays alone by choice.

And our Park Hee-jun explains why ONE.... is not the loneliest number during the long

break.

'Chuseok', a holiday closely associated with family activities,... is starting to

become a holiday for people to spend time alone, especially for the younger generation.

According to a survey by 'Alba Cheonguk,' a part-time employment website, .. over 60

percent of 1200 people in their 20's said they will be spending the Chuseok holidays

alone.

27 percent said they had to work, while 23 percent said they wanted to avoid being scolded

by their parents.

17 percent said they planned on looking for a job.

(Korean) "I have to work part-time for a few days.

I'm spending the rest of the holidays at home, relaxing and studying to get a job."

(Korean) "I have so much stress from work.

I plan to spend the Chuseok holidays traveling alone or possibly with my friends."

(standup) "As such, more and more young people are

spending Chuseok alone each year.

High expectations from their families and from society are too much for some people

to handle, and they just want to take a break."

Although the Chuseok holiday is about family love and community spirit,... the trend is

inevitable due to the low youth employment rate, and the heavy workload that people have

to face every day.

To target those who are spending the holidays alone,...

convenience stores are offering various single-portion meals with menus that are common during Chuseok.

Major retailers are also displaying Chuseok gifts, such as liquor in small bottles and

premium domestic beef sets, that are gift-wrapped for one person... so they won't miss out on

special holiday treats.

Movie theaters and food stores are also welcoming young people with options designed for one

person.

ITC finds U.S. washing machine makers hurt by Samsung, LG imports - Duration: 0:52.

Let's start things off on the trade front.

The U.S. International Trade Commission unanimously ruled on Thursday... that domestic producers

are being harmed... by washing machine imports from abroad.

This comes after American appliance giant Whirlpool called for measures to stop its

Korean rivals such as Samsung and LG... from flooding the local market with cheaper products.

Safeguards include imposing tariffs,... to protect a local industry... from either a

sudden jump in imports... or unfair trade practices.

However,... such measures are subject to a public hearing... and presidential approval

before it can take effect.

Samsung and LG accused Whirlpool of trying to manipulate U.S. trade laws... to make up

for its failure to keep up with consumer preferences.

The ITC is set to give its recommendation on the matter to President Trump by December

4th.
