Waching daily Oct 6 2017

Hello this is Ariane from La Fille de la Mer and I have something super exciting for

you guys today! A magic holiday fairy decided to visit my workshop last night

and she brought magic fairy dust and I will be making her favorite soap so that

all of you guys can enjoy it and it will be on my website very soon. I still have

a couple from last year but it's time to stock up again as the holidays

are coming along and many children will want to have one of these in their

stockings. Let's take a closer look at how I make this soap. The first thing I

did is that I took out my star silicone ice tray molds and I made some yellow

stars. I colored it with Nurture Soap's yellow vibrance mica. I decided to

use this color because it's a non bleeding colorant so the yellow from the

stars will not migrate into the other colors that will be integrated into this soap.

The next step is to spritz the stars with rubbing alcohol so that the

next layer of soap will adhere to them. I just kind of spritz and toss them

around and then with some melted white melt and pour and a fork I dip all of my

stars to kind of coat them with the melt & pour so that the layer will

kind of be marked with a white line. You can see on this soap that there is a

little white line all around and that's because I dip all of my stars in white

melt & pour prior to integrating them to the fairy soap. I find that this

process is a little bit like when making homemade chocolate truffles! You know

when you melt that chocolate and you dip the truffles into that hard coating?

It's like that feeling! I'm dipping stars! Once the little stars are dry I just take a

little utility knife and slide it under to remove them from my work table.

Then I just trim off the little drops that are all around the base of

the stars. Now that the Stars have been made I will place my molds, but right

before I forgot to tell you I have some very exciting announcements for you but

I will do that at the end of the video so stay tuned because this is gonna be

super awesome! Alright?! So let me show you what I do with these molds because you

see that in this soap I have a tilted layer. It's not straight so the molds

will actually need to be tilted. What I do is that I take some towels, clean

towels and I place them under each side

so that my layers are tilted and that it doesn't slide from what they're holding on.

If it's not tilted enough what I'll do is that... I have these that

are the end of the molds. I have some extra ones from other molds that aren't

being used right now so I can tilt it even more with these or any kind of log

or anything you need you can grab around in your workshop that will make your

molds tilted! And there we go know so that nothing moves and nothing

slides I'm just gonna put a little weight, I got some color blocks! This

shouldn't move any more so this one is being held by the color blocks and the

other mold is being held by this one.

While we are waiting for this layer to set here are a few tips on making

layered soaps: first of all when using melt & pour you should know from your

supplier what is the melting point and you should know at which temperature you

need to work at so when you pour one layer over the other you do not want it

to be too hot otherwise you're gonna melt the previous layer and ruin all of

your hard work and if you pour too cold it will not bond together and they will

most likely split apart and break when you unmold and cut your soap. So having a

thermometer is a very good idea I really like infrared thermometers like this one

because you don't actually need to dip and wash your Taylor monitor between

each use another thing to consider is your fragrance oil some fragrance oils

will discolor the color of your soap because it contains vanilla or other

ingredients that will affect the color on the long-term so it may look red when

you just make it but in a few weeks it might turn brown or pinkish so if you

want your red to stay red and your golden yellow to stay golden yellow use

fragrances that have no vanilla and read the data sheets of each fragrances

suppliers usually have a comment section on each of their products and read the

comments if someone said Oh discolored has discolored even though it didn't

have vanilla keep it for another project don't use it in a layered soap that you

want the colors to tape stay true otherwise it'll ruin all of your hard

work and also rubbing alcohol is your friend every layer needs to be spritz

with rubbing alcohol between each use I have my new rubbing alcohol bottle right

there and I have it around for each mouth and port project that I make if

there's a shapes to be embedded or layers to be made

making layered mountain poor takes time and while we are waiting I wanted to

share with you some super exciting news in 2018

I will be attending two major soap and cosmetic industry events and I will be a

speaker at both of those event the first thing that I'd like to ask you is do you

have your membership card from the handcrafted soap in cosmetic guild this

is an international non-for-profit guild based in the US that helps soap makers

from around the world to find resources they offer supplier discounts and every

year they have an annual conference somewhere in the u.s. sometimes east or

west or in the center and soap makers gather together and it's huge and it's

super big and super fun I've been there in 2015 and I will be in Atlanta in May

two thousand eighteen I will link all of the details below but just to tell you I

will be doing a mountain port presentation about swirling and

integrating embeds into mountain poor soaps and not only will I be speaking in

Atlanta but I will also be speaking for them in June of 2018 in Toronto Canada

for their first Canadian annual conference that will be held in

collaboration with the handcrafted bath and body guild which is a Canadian

Organization for soap makers and cosmetic crafters in Canada I will be

doing a different topic in Toronto it will be also about mountain pour but how

to use additives in melton pour so I hope it will get to see you in one of

those two events your membership card because you get

discounts for the conference but even though you're not a member you can still

come the price will just be different I will leave all the links below whether

you want to come to the Canadian or the u.s. conference or maybe you want to

come at both and that would be great too because my topics will be different so I

wanted to make sure that if someone attended both event they would have

different topics from me I'm gonna use this beautiful teal turquoise color from

nurture soap supplies and what I do for this layer because this is the layer

that will embed the stars within

measuring magical fairy

and if you look at this soap I will be embedding the star right here within the

blue I'm gonna keep on mixing this but I'm gonna also prepare my layer to

receive the star so what I do is I take a ruler that I cleaned with rubbing

alcohol prior to putting it in my soap mold and with a small utility knife I'm

gonna mark the line every place I want to put a star I'm working very gently

because this layer is still warm and viable and I don't want to you know make

an indent on the layer but I also need to know where to put my stars so that

when I cut my soap there will be one star in every so now is the time to glue

these stars so I spray them swish them around just to make sure that they're

all coated with the rubbing alcohol and I just dip the base of my stars

now that the layer is firm enough I can remove the blocks from the molds and put

them flat out on the table so that that I can pour the last layer straight

magic fairy fairy soup so well the magic holiday fairy soap is in the mold it

will harden up until tomorrow and I will be back to unmold it with you guys

there we go this is how the magic holiday fairy soap looks like and if you

look closer you can see that the translucent layers are shimmery and

glittery and it smells amazing with five different fragrance oils of fruity and

sweet tones mixed together it's perfect for holiday stockings but it's also a

perfect party favor for any birthday I hope you've enjoyed watching this video

if you did please leave a thumbs up if you're not subscribed to my channel

please hit the subscribe button if you'd like to see more videos I have a math

imporve ideo playlist that you can look up I make also cool process and other

types of cosmetics if you have any questions please leave them in the

comment section below and if you'd like to learn more about mouth and pour soap

making don't forget that I will be a speaker for both of the HSC G's 2018

conference one is in Atlanta the other one is in Toronto may June of 2018 I

will leave all the links below for all of the details and there will be a

lineup of crazy amazing speakers along with me on code process melt and pour

liquid soap business tips name it go check it out

thanks for watching I'll see you later

Here Are The Original Jurassic Park Kids Today - Duration: 3:07.

Steven Spielberg changed the game in 1993 when he released the dinosaur epic Jurassic

Park, which remains one of the most successful and popular movies ever made.

The impressive cast included two child actors who played the forever-traumatized grandchildren

of the park's creator Jon Hammond.

Decades after becoming famous for running from raptors, where are they now?

Joseph Mazzello

Talk about friends in high places.

In a 2013 interview with People, Joseph Mazzello revealed that Steven Spielberg helped him

get into the University of Southern California by writing him a letter of recommendation.

Mazzello graduated from USC with a degree in cinema and television, but has also acted

steadily since becoming famous in Jurassic Park for his role as the dino-loving Tim Murphy

"Timmy, what is it?"

"It's a velociraptor."

"It's inside!"

His biggest post-Park roles include The Social Network, in which he played the Harvard student

who inspired Mark Zuckerberg to add relationship statuses to Facebook profiles, and a stint

in the HBO Emmy-winning miniseries, The Pacific.

In 2016, he made his directorial debut with the sports comedy-drama Undrafted, starring

Chace Crawford, Jim Belushi, and Mazzello himself.

The film is based on Mazzello's brother, a college baseball star who was scouted to play

in the majors, but ultimately didn't make the cut.

Mazzello will next appear as Queen's bass player John Deacon in Bryan Singer's Freddie

Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, which began filming in September 2017.

Ariana Richards

Now here's something that'll make you feel super-old: as of the making of this video,

Ariana Richards is only two years younger than Jeff Goldblum was when he began filming

Jurassic Park with Richards in 1992.

Richards was 12 when she played Lex Murphy, a skilled young hacker … well, at least

by '90s cinematic standards …

"It's a UNIX system.

I know this!"

Over the years, Richards shifted from acting to painting, which is now her main professional

focus.

Shortly after Jurassic Park's release, Richards sent director Steven Spielberg a watercolor

self-portrait inspired by one of the scenes in the film.

The painting now hangs in Spielberg's office.

Along with her role as the pogo-stick-loving Mindy Sterngood in the 1990 cult hit Tremors,

Richards' most well-known on-screen appearances were in the Jurassic Park franchise.

In 1997, she briefly appeared in Jurassic Park sequel The Lost World, and followed that

cameo with handful of TV movies over the years.

In 2015, she told People, "If some great role or project finds me, absolutely that could

be a nice thing to do, for sure."

At the time of that interview, her latest TV movie was 2013's Battledogs, which was

produced by The Asylum, the team behind the Sharknado movies... and she hasn't acted since.

"Chew on this, mother!"

Hogwarts 2015 - Episode 3 [Eng sub] - Duration: 5:19.

Vicky: Teddy!

Vicky: Talk to me Teddy!

You cannot miss a prefect meeting and then just say you had detention as a reason!

Teddy: There's not much to say.

Vicky: How about why.

Teddy: I punched a guy in the face.

Broke his nose.

Vicky: Edward!

Carl: Hi Weasley, Lupin!

Vicky: Not now, Calvin.

Carl: My name is Carl…

Vicky: And care to explain why you punched someone in the face?

Teddy: I overheard some assholes in sixth year talking about the Werewolf Support Services

that Kingsley reopened, how they wouldn't want their money to go to helping…

beasts.

And I know they knew I could hear them,

because one of them was looking straight at me as he…

Vicky: As he what?

Teddy: As he started talking about how the anti-werewolf legislation had been a step

in the right direction, how he couldn't believe one had actually worked here at Hogwarts.

I know for a fact my dad was the best defence against the dark arts teacher Hogwarts has ever seen!

Vicky: So you punched him in the face?

Teddy: Not right away.

I did try to argue.

He just kept vomiting up such hateful things that I lost it.

We had gotten quite the audience by then and Sprout turned up as the cowards fled the scene.

She sent me straight to McGonagall's.

Vicky: You were sent to the Headmistress?

Teddy: Yeah, Sprout thought it was extra serious considering I'm a head boy.

I explained everything to McGonagall but she just gave me a speech on how my dad never would never

have punched another student in the face.

I told her well no, that's because my dad had two friends who always stood up and punched for him.

Vicky: What did she have to say about that?

Teddy: Not much actually.

She just gave me detention.

Vicky: Why couldn't you have hexed him like a normal person?

Teddy: The only hex I could think of was the hex George taught me last Christmas...

Yeah...! I mean, that seemed a little over the top, even for that asshole.

Vicky: So you punched him in the face.

Teddy: You weren't there!

I'm just so sick of the stigma and discrimination!

People keep saying everything is so good now that Voldemort is gone for good but it's

not enough!

We had issues before him and I'm so sick of it.

Vicky: I know, Teddy.

It's okay.

Teddy: No, it's not!

My dad suffered his whole life because of stupid people like that and you,

your dad is also affected by it.

Bill!

Your dad's super cool and people say shitty things about Bill just because of some stupid scars.

Vicky: My dad gets both sides actually.

There are those who sees his scars and just assumes, even though he tells them

he won't turn.

Then there's those who treats him like he has escaped some horrible faith,

like, worse than death.

I mean, of course dad is grateful he was lucky enough and didn't get infected with lycanthropy but he's always been

very vocal that it is because of practical and economical reasons and also because of attitudes like that.

And my mum's always ready to step in and let people know that it wouldn't have changed a thing between them.

Teddy: What do you do when people say things like that?

Vicky: I don't punch them in the face.

... even though it's tempting.

I try to argue, discuss, and maybe educate if I can.

Teddy: Yeah but if they won't listen? If it doesn't work…?

Vicky: Then I leave.

You cannot win every battle in a war, especially if you're alone.

You know what helps?

Talking.

I have a girl in my year whose cousin was scratched during the battle of Hogwarts and

talking to her has really helped putting my feelings into words, instead of punches.

So, I think of her when I get mad.

Teddy: Well I was-

Vicky: I know you were thinking of your dad, of my dad, and me, Dominique, Louis, Tonks, Harry

and everybody else affected by stupid ideas about werewolves, but you need to let us support you instead.

Teddy: … I didn't know there were more people here who also had close ones who are affected.

Vicky: There's probably a lot more than we think.

And I'm sure, so many people will want to support the werewolf support system,

once they get a job.

Maybe you can recruit them to your resistance group.

Teddy: Maybe I will.

New Details Emerge About One of Tay-K's Murder Charges - Duration: 1:53.

What's up, guys?

Beija here for Complex News.

The Dallas-area rapper Tay-K gained fame when his song "The Race" started moving up the

Billboard charts.

The song is about being on the run from the law, and the track and video were made while

the 17-year-old was actually on the run from the law, facing a murder charge from a 2016

home invasion.

In addition to recording, Tay-K did some other things on the run—including, according to

police, take part in a murder in San Antonio.

Tay-K's reported involvement in the San Antonio murder was first reported back in June of

this year, when he was caught in New Jersey and brought back to Texas to face his original

murder charge, but on Thursday the website My San Antonio dot com published new details

after they got their hands on a police report.

The San Antonio murder took place on April 23 of this year.

The victim was identified as 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar.

According to the police and witnesses, here's what went down:

Saldivar and two other people were arguing in the back of an SUV.

Then someone in the front seat pointed a gun at Saldivar, who got out of the car and yelled

for help.

At that point, the driver attempted to run him over, but Saldivar managed to hold on

as the vehicle pulled over into a parking lot at this Chick-fil-A. The victim jumped

on top of the car and started kicking the windshield, at which point one of the other

people in the car fatally shot him, and everyone drove away.

While it is unknown if Tay-K was the shooter, witnesses have said that he was one of the

people in the car.

During his time on the run, he is also accused of assaulting 65-year-old Skip Pepe in a park

in Arlington, Texas.

There is no word yet on exactly when Tay-K will face charges for the San Antonio murder,

as he is already facing capital murder charges, for which he will be tried as an adult, for

the home invasion case.

DOFUS, serveur monocompte - Questions aux devs - Duration: 2:03.

"Hi everyone and welcome to our new "Dev Questions" video."

Today, we're going to answer all your questions

about the release of the single-account server: Ilyzaelle.

To find out more, we put your questions to Simsoft,

the Producer of the DOFUS game, and here are the answers in video form.

A lot of you have been wanting to play DOFUS without competing

against other players who are in control of multiple accounts.

For this reason, we came up with the idea of the single-account server,

which has been around for a long time, but which we weren't necessarily

in a position to offer you.

We now think we have the right technical solutions

for you to enjoy this feature to the fullest.

Unlike traditional servers, on the single-account server we're

going to make sure you're not playing on multiple accounts.

To do so, we're going to check that you have a verified phone number and email,

and ensure that no other players can use this information to log in.

The cat's out of the bag, now: the single-account servers

will be officially released on October 17th,

and we're looking forward to your feedback from the beta,

which is open now.

The single-account server is the first new server

we've opened in years.

You'll be able to race others to be first to complete

dungeons, achievements and more without being in competition

with multi-account players.

Now you know everything there is to know about the

single-account server. If you have any other questions

or need more information,

feel free to leave a comment below the video, on the

official forum, or on the social networks.

It will, of course, be our pleasure to reply to you.

See you very soon in the next video.

Koessler Administration Building (KAB) - Duration: 2:11.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

Hi, name is Meghan, and I'm an Occupational Therapy major here

at D'Youville College.

This is the Koessler Administration Building.

It is our oldest building here on campus

and is a historic landmark.

When D'Youville was founded in 1908 by the Grey Nuns,

this was it's whole campus.

Now, it is home to many of the administrative offices that

run DYC.

It's full of helpful resources for all of our students.

As soon as you walk in the Koessler Administration

Building, the President's Office is front and center.

Her door is always open, and it's

nice to know whenever I walk by that administration is there

for me.

There are a lot of other important offices

in this building and chances are through your trip at D'Youville

you're going to need to talk to each and every one of them.

Everyone is really helpful whenever you need it.

Up on the second floor isl the financial aid office.

Every student at D'Youville has a financial aid counselor

assigned to them, and they are happy to answer

any questions you have.

The fourth floor is home to the DYC Learning Center.

They host tutoring services, workshops,

and support programs.

I have taken advantage of their services

for help with my functional anatomy and neuroscience

classes, and they were great.

They were really great about fitting everything into you

class schedule.

The Joan of Arc study rooms are also

found on the first floor of the KAB.

They have dry erase boards, meeting tables,

and plenty of other tools to help with your learning style.

My favorite thing about it is it's a quiet place

to study on campus.

The Office of Veterans Affairs is

on the second floor of the Koessler Administration

Building.

D'Youville is consistently ranked

one of the top schools for veterans,

and Veterans Affairs make sure we stay that way.

They offer tutoring and counseling, a student lounge,

their own computer lab, and advice on tuition waivers,

or anything else.

It's also where you'll find the D'Youville Student

Veterans of America Chapter.

This is our chapel.

It's located on the third floor of the KAB.

Our Office of Campus Ministry hosts daily mass, as well as

baptisms and weddings.

We are accepting of all faiths and backgrounds

here at D'Youville, and we also have all faith prayer

rooms on the third floor.

And that's the KAB.

There's a lot going on.

But the important thing to remember about it

and D'Youville in general is that there's always

someone to help.

Thanks for visiting.

We hope to see you soon.
