How To Become A YouTuber - YouTuber Influence - Duration: 10:22.

Kris Krohn here, Limitless TV with a treat for you.

I have got our producer of the channel, Nate Woodbury.

We're going to be interviewing him today on becoming a youtuber.

Glad to be here.

Totally excited today for our video because I've got Nate Woodbury that has launched the

entire limitless TV channel from it's inception to what it is today.

We're celebrating over a million views and we continue growing.

Nate is super knowledgeable here in this whole idea of how to be a youtuber which really

comes down to one word, influence.

And, it's some that Nate, you do very well and there'a a whole science behind this idea.

There's a lot of people.

In fact, I was just talking to a couple of my buddies they are like, yeah we're going

to do this youtube channel!

We're going to do videos on this, on that.

I got really honest and frank and I said, listen if you guys want to goof around and

shoot some videos, you know get something funny and viral out there you might get a

little bit of activity but there really is a science to how you do youtube successfully

to express whatever your gifted influence is to the world.

Nate, just want to start here.

Is it and art? or is it a science?

Which is it?

Definitely a mixture of both.

The more art that's in there, the more entertainment there is, the more people will enjoy the videos

but the way that we started this channel was through the science side of it first.

We started with the keyword research and finding out what questions are people asking.

You know it was, it the beginning it was 100% real estate and now it's also mindset and

belief breakthrough but what questions are people asking on these things.

That's really important because, there's a lot of people that come to the channel that

they don't know me.

They never heard of me before but they are finding me organically because of that research.

Can you talk for a moment just little bit about what are you doing behind the scenes

to help organically find individuals that want to learn about whatever your content

is on the channel.

So Kris said something really key in this question.

In that, people are finding these videos that have never heard of Kris before.

So think how powerful of a tool that is.

Kris has a large following here locally.

Lots of people, hundreds of people, even thousands of people at a time come to your events but

when we put a video on youtube, we've got the whole world as an audience.

And by doing the keyword research, searching on google keyword planner tool, finding out

what questions people are asking, Kris might tell me, hey why don't we do a video on topic

ABC.

I'll do some research first and find, ok what questions people are asking about that topic

and then I'll send that back to Kris and say, ok here's what the title of the video will

be.

And what that does is it makes it so the people who have never heard of Kris before, that

are asking that question now find the video and they see you.

They see Kris as the hero.

Yeah and now I want to jump a little bit more on this because I do want to talk about the

art.

I want to talk about what is the content, what is the persona, how do you authentically

share your gift.

But I want to go one step deeper.

Yes you are doing that keyword search to make sure we're producing not videos that we care

about, videos that you care about.

Here's a second question.

AMP'd.

What is an AMP'd video v.s. a viral video?

Because I know that it's a huge part of your whole strategy that has created a successful

channel here and you're doing with other people.

AMP is my acronym.

Automatic, Magnetic, and Perpetual.

Automatic means that it's a video that's automatically going to market itself.

So all this effort that you put in research in the beginning.

In preparing and planning this video, it's making it so you don't really have to do a

lot of advertising work.

The video will automatically market itself.

The magnetic part means that it's pulling in people who are searching for your content

that needs your content.

So from a business perspective, if you have something that offer, you have some value

to give, yeah you can put up a billboard and blast that in front of everyone, or you can

just magnetically attract the people who want that.

And then perpetual, you notice that the videos, you know once they start get traction, the

videos, some of our best performing videos are the ones that we put up three years ago.

They are just perpetually getting better and better.

You know it's interesting, I was watching one of these viral videos and it was a funny

video of a guy in a gorilla suit sneaking up on people.

And certainly, it gets a lot of laughs, it's going to get a lot of views.

Next he's out there Tyrannosaurus Rex outfit and just tackling people in the public and

scaring the pants out of people.

And then he's taking snakes, live snakes and putting them around people's necks and freaking

them out.

And yeah, it's viral.

It's got millions of views and what is the message?

What is it driving to?

What good is it really doing?

The majority of viral videos aren't necessarily building something productive but your AMP'd

style here, what's interesting is everyone of these videos that you create, Nate calls

them "machine" and the more machines that we put out there with time, if they are organically

searched and researched correctly, they'll just continue growing.

One of the things that I found interesting, Nate as you sat done with me, when you first

came to me you said, Kris you're going to see a 500% growth on your channel every year.

In our first year, I've never done anything on youtube.

Well, I have had videos on youtube for years but I didn't have a following or any strategy.

In our first year, we had 50,000 views.

The next year, we had a 500% increase to 250,000 views.

And right now, we're on track for hitting 1,250,000 views.

In other words, I've seen that 500% growth and certainly a lot of people are messaging

and asking me questions and engaging in business with me now from this youtube channel.

And so it's, you know, you got a really great strategy and philosophy.

If someone wanted to be a very successful youtuber, what do you think they would have

to do?

how many videos would they have to put out? and what kind of help do you think they will

need?

Couple thoughts on that.

One is just to think long term and think of large numbers and really visualize if I were

to put out a daily for a year, what type of content do I want to cover?

What would my style be?

What type of following do I want to build?

And just having that vision, having that plan makes it a lot more realistic.

Also efficiency is really important.

We post 5-6 videos very single week.

Kris has got a busy schedule, I got a busy schedule, how do we do that?

We're filming 22 videos today.

Our record has been 27 videos.

In one day, we''ll film it all in one time and obviously there's a lot of work in editing.

We release them on a schedule.

Daily on youtube.

But it allows us to get a lot done and still be really efficient with our time.

We'll I'm going to be honest, I would not have a youtube channel if I didn't have Nate

Woodbury.

So you need to find someone.

If you want to do this successfully, you might need someone like Nate because I just got

to show and I got to shoot the video and know my content but when it comes to the editing,

and the videography, and when it comes to the keyword research and the posting, and

managing comments and doing all those things, you know that's Nate.

Nate takes care of all of that for me so it makes things very do-able in my world and

certainly aligns with my philosophy there if you want something done right, don't do

it yourself.

So you do that brilliantly.

Kinda final question I have for you Nate is, talk to me a little bit about the fun side

of who should consider being a youtuber and who should not, should not go down that path.

What is an ideal person, you know what should they be looking for and what should they be

prepared with if they are going to do a successful video.

280 videos in a calendar year.

I think the best answer to that question is if you have a why, if you have a real drive

or a burning purpose or passion, a message that you want to share in the world, youtube

is such an amazing platform.

It allows us to package up our value and deliver it to the entire planet through the internet.

And so if you have purpose, if you have this message that you need to share, that is the

biggest driving factor of why you should create a youtube channel.

And for me, that's something really important.

I feel like God has gifted me a lot of this amazing information, knowledge, life experiences

that I have had and at the end of the day, youtube is a really wonderful platform to

share that message and well there's some people don't always appreciate the words that I have

to say, the comments certainly say as much.

But there's a lot of people who been able to use this information to better their lives.

People I'll never meet and you know I think that fulfills something for me is that some

people are going to use it as an opportunity and engage with me personally in business,

they made you know, purchased certain services or products from you which is wonderful.

But I think the vast majority, they just get a chance to learn on these tidbits video after

video, they get to use it to improve their life.

And so for me there's a really big feel good factor of know that, hey there's a great deal

of influence that can do a great deal of good in this world.

And youtube is a really great strategy for that.

Nate do you have any final thoughts that you want to share with us today on becoming a

youtuber?

I'll share one simple tip but it's powerful and I want you to pay attention.

Start filming with your Iphone don't think that you need a fancy equipment that Kris

and I are now using because the camera that's in your phone right now is HD, it's great

quality.

Just face a window so that you got good lighting on it and then practice with the audio so

that can sound, but you can get high quality video with your Iphone.

Getting started is much better that waiting until it's perfect.

Nate, such valuable information and it's amazing cause I look at our time together over the

last couple of years and what we've been able to create together.

I think there's got to be other people out there like me with a message that want to

share it.

What advise would you give to them? or is there a way that they can get in touch with

you so that they can go down the road of also becoming a youtuber sharing their message

with the world?

Absolutely.

So two things that I would recommend.

So one, I have my channel, Hero TV.

So search for Hero TV or BeTheHero.

I put a lot of videos there teaching things like this.

And the second thing is, I'll leave a link in the description about how you can actually

get in contact with me.

Awesome.

Well, don't forget to subscribe.

Thanks for being here today and again, join us tomorrow and the next day and the day after.

And limitless TV is going to give you valuable life changing information on how to create

wealth and real estate and how to cultivate the perfect mindset and heart set for producing

the life of your dreams.

Common Misconceptions About Meditation Debunked - Duration: 7:49.

Common Misconceptions About Meditation Debunked

The way meditation is depicted in popular culture is misleading.

Meditation is not all about finding a blank, thoughtless, blissful, untouchable, and empty

inner sanctum.

When people talk about meditating this way, it sounds like they are describing the mind

of a zombie!

Though sometimes meditating can bring a person to a place of blissful blankness, that is

only one of many experiences meditation can bring about.

Meditating is a process; even if you are distracted the entire sit until the final bell rings

you awake, well that final moment of awakeness can be celebrated as a great victory on the

non-linear path to awareness!

Misconception #1 You must sit full lotus

The first misconception that meditators have about meditating is that it must be done on

the floor and, furthermore, that sitting full lotus is the only true way to sit.

The full lotus position, called Padmasana, encourages proper breathing and has the symbolic

meaning of nonduality.

However, perfecting Padmasana can become a distraction and issue of pride.

Many injuries such as permanent nerve damage have come from a person forcing

the legs into this position without proper training.

Whatever way you position yourself, the goal is to have a straight spine without slouching

or leaning to one side so the diaphragm has room to expand.

Then, breathe through your nose rather than the mouth, sealing your tongue so saliva does

not accumulate forcing you to swallow.

Meditation can also be done in a chair or lying down.

Furthermore, it can be done when you are on the move: you do not have to be still to meditate.

For example, try practicing mindfulnessness techniques as you go throughout your day,

when walking, doing dishes, or even working.

The purpose of these rules [about meditation position] is not to make everyone the same,

but to allow each to express his own self most freely based on the proportions of

our own bodies Own your own physical body, says Shunryu Suzuki in his book Zen Mind,

Beginners Mind.

Misconception #2 Empty your head of all thoughts

The second common misconception about meditation is that the goal is to achieve a blank, empty

and thoughtless state of mind, but this is not the case.

Thoughts naturally flow in and out varying intensity like waves.

Aside from joy, love, and tenderness, thoughts also produce anxiety, anger, and fear.

In meditation, you do not only make room for pleasant thoughts, but also for the unpleasant

ones, becoming a vessel that is strong and expansive enough to hold and confront any

thought that wanders in the saloon doors of the self.

As you meditate, give yourself permission to be curious about your thoughts, tracing

them to their root, tracking patterns, and watching ideas like a hawk as they emerge,

morph, and disappear.

One great truth is impermanence if you watch a thought long enough, whether positive

or negative, it splinters or coalesces becoming something different.

Practitioners of meditation often say that the more you meditate, the less power waves

of thought have to throw you off balance you become fearless even against the strangest

or scariest mental waves.

However, such equanimity could take a long time to achieve, your whole life, even.

In the meantime, practice patience.

Consider your thoughts a form entertainment.

Rather than define you, view your thoughts as on a screen; you are not defined or controlled

by them.

Even if an image that disturbs you arises, allow it to manifest.

Feel your pulse quicken, and follow the tempo of your breath.

Do not seek to change your thoughts or travel to some other state of mind; your job is to

observe, breathe, and contain.

Suzuki calls these negative thoughts mind weeds, and says that one should even be

grateful for them because they impell and deepen your practice.

Misconception #3 -Seek complete relaxation

Yet another misconception people have about meditation is that it is solely for the purpose

of physiological relaxation.

During meditation retreats people often move slowly.

If you are asked to do your own dishes at the retreat, you will see that the line to

do dishes is long and slow because everyone is trying to meditate on doing their

dishes.

If you try to have a conversation, people may speak slowly and softly.

Once a roshi said to be careful driving home after a retreat.

Meditators are liable to get into traffic accidents because they are meditating

while driving, he said.

They go too slowly and too precisely, endangering themselves and others. Meditating is not

just about calming the physical body; meditating and mindfullness do not mean only slow,

quiet, and relaxed.

The mind is like a sword it can rest at your side, or it can be ripped from its sheath

to chop through the air with precision and rapidity.

It is said that meditation should not be too exciting, either.

However, in meditating, you can still allow yourself to be robust, virile, radiant, and

joyous.

You can be quick-witted, sharp, and savvy.

Sometimes meditating does not bring relaxation.

On the contrary, meditating can bring stiffness.

It can be like a detoxyfying tonic bringing toxins to the surface or like sloughing off

dead skin.

Rather than relaxed, after meditating the eyes can seem vivacious and bright.

By the same token, the eyes can appear dull, tearful, or jerky after meditating.

However you feel after your sit, that is as it should be.

To be relaxed is only an occasional side-affect and not the goal.

As Suzuki says, Just remain on your cushion without expecting anything.

Meditation is not about seeking bliss or enlightenment.

It is not about emptying your head of complex or nuanced thoughts in order to obtain a false

sense of joy or happiness.

It is not about being relaxed, blissed out, or twisting your body into uncomfortable poses

developed in ancient times.

When you meditate, try to accept things as they are.

Of course there are some rules about how things are done, but see which rules work

for you and which do not by getting curious about them.

Deepen your practice by using mental weeds as guides pushing you further and deeper.

In the end, to be a human being is to be a Buddha, so, rather than close yourself

off to the full gamut of human experience, your best bet is to remain open to all the

possibilities.

Additionally, try to develop a regular meditation practice to help you strengthen your mind

the way a swordsman practices with a sword for a great battle!

Top 10 Neville Longbottom Shocking Facts - Duration: 5:20.

Top 10 Neville Longbottom SURPRISING FACTS INTRO: Welcome back nerd squad, my name is

Roya Destroyaa and this is Top 10 Nerd.

The underdog of the Harry Potter series, Neville Longbottom has climbed his way into our hearts

throughout the series, growing from clumsy and dorky boy to a brave and loyal young wizard.

Who is still a dork.

So let's take a look at the top 10 SURPRISING FACTS ABOUT NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM.

In the number 10 spot we have HIS NAME.

Because I'm a total etymology type of person.

Rowling is known for giving her characters names with meanings, but Longbottom doesn't

exactly scream much meaning.

All it describes is someone who lives in a valley.

His last name was almost Pupp anyway.

However, Neville is a French name derived from 'new town', and was a surname among

a noble medieval warrior family in England.

There's that special meaning.

Coming in at number 9 HE WAS ALMOST A HATSTALL.

A hat stall is a person who takes up more than 5 minutes of the sorting hat's time

while trying to decide a house, something that occurs maybe once every 50 years.

Neville was intimidated by Gryffindor and wished to be placed in Hufflepuff, but the

hat was determined to stick to Gryffindor, so this arguing went on silently for almost

five minutes before the verdict.

The only 2 known hat stalls are Professor McGonagall and Peter Pettigrew someone who

probably did end up in the wrong house after all that decision making.

Next, at number 8, HE KNEW MAGIC FROM BIRTH.

Although Neville was thought to be a squib by those close to him - someone born to a

wizarding family with no magical abilities - and though he refers to himself as almost

a squib, such is not the case.

In fact, mere moments after he was born the quill of acceptance that senses proficiency

in young wizards tried to put his name in the book of admittance.

But yet his magic didn't become apparent to others until he was eight, as they kept

missing those tiny signs.

In the number 7 spot IS THE AB CONTROVERSY.

Trust me, we were all shocked when Neville Longbottom, played by Matthew Lewis, became

hot.

Who knew that this would become this, right?

And then Matt went on to strip down for the cover of Attitude, and nobody was more aghast

than JK herself.

And Rowling, not one to keep quiet on Twitter for long, certainly made herself clear with

tweets like 'Warn me next time, for god's sake' or 'put some clothes on'.

You'd think after Dan in Equus this wouldn't be so bad.

But if it shocked the rest of us, just imagine how the creator of the chubby round-faced

boy felt.

Coming in at number 6 IS HIS CRUSH ON LUNA.

In the series, there is some serious attraction growing between Neville and Luna, and many

fans were hoping the couple would be together in the end.

According to Luna lovegood Evanna Lynch, this was never going to happen.

Apparently he's too much of a homebody, and she wanted to travel the world, so they

were destined not to be together.

And according to Matthew Lewis, it was just a summer fling.

Neville eventually marries Hannah Abott, landlady of the leaky cauldron.

But we can still pretend.

Next up, at number 5, HE'S A LEFTY.

In the wizarding world, your handedness is determined mostly by what hand you carry your

wand in.

And there are not a ton of left-handers out there, just like in the muggle world.

But Neville is one of the few whose dominant hand happens to be his left.

Of course this may as well be the actor's comfortable choice, but it answers the long-asked

question: are there any left-handed wizards?

Up next at number 4 we got MATTHEW LEWIS' RESTRICTIONS.

As a kid, Matthew Lewis fit the role quite well with his chubbiness and crooked teeth.

But Lewis shed the baby weight too quickly and had to wear a fat suit to film.

Plus, he was under a strict no-braces ban.

He had to go through puberty and teen hood, being on set with many attractive people,

in a fat suit with wonky teeth for ten years.

I mean for millions of dollars I'd probably do it too.

Maybe.

In the number 3 spot, HIS PARENTS NEVER RECOVERED.

As we know, when he was a baby Neville's parents Alive and Frank were tortured into

insanity by death eaters and became residents of St. Mungos hospital for magical maladies

and injuries.

What Rowling revealed to us after the series wrapped up is that the pair never recovered

from their madness.

I'm sure more than a few of you are disappointed to hear that he never got his truly happy

ending.

But hey, at least grandma stopped being a jerk.

Coming in at number 2, HE WAS IN THE QUEENS HANDBAG.

The Queen's Handbag was a play put on for queen Elizabeth the seconds 80th birthday,

and included pre-shot skits of famous literature characters, one of which was Neville Longbottom,

alongside the trio.

The whole point of the skit was that the wizards were to help the queen find her handbag, which

contained her reading glasses she needed to read her 80th birthday speech.

And of course grandma Longbottom's handbag had to make an appearance.

And finally, in the number 1 spot IS THE EAR DRUM INCIDENT.

In promos, there is an image of Bellatrix threatening Neville with her wand that became

quite iconic among fans.

Opening up about the scene, actress Helena Bonham Carter admitted she took it a bit too

far and accidently perforated Matt's eardrum, leading to temporary deafness and bleeding

in the one ear.

But Matt is such a nice guy he didn't even tell her until 3 days after the incident.

My own ear hurts just talking about this.

So those were the top 10 NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM SURPRISING FACTS.

Let me know in the comment section down below who you want facts on next.

My name is Roya Destroyaa, thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe so you never

Δομούμε καλύτερα το κεφάλι - Duration: 7:02.

Hi! I'm Vaggelis from vktoons

and today we'll learn together how we'll better construct the head

that we've already learned to draw.

Today, the portrait.

I won't surprise you. We'll begin with the standard circle.

Now, that circle isn't the entire face. It is only the cranium of the head.

Now, we'll draw our first guidelines.

A vertical and an horizontal.

Here, the certical axon....

...more or less... We correct it.

And an horizontal, that can be either in the middle, as the diameter,

or a bit lower. I choose to draw it a bit lower.

And we have a cross-shape there.

The horizontal axon will be the guideline for the eyes

while the vertical axon will help us with the symmetry of the elements.

A big part of what you watch in this series is based on books of Doudoumis publications.

You can purchase books from the publishers with a discount of 25%

as follows; you send to us an e-mail at info@vktoons.com,

you ask from us a discount code, we send it to you and using it you purchase

either from the physical shop or from the e-shop of the publishers.

Now is the time to draw the jaw of our head.

If we've drawn the horizontal axon just below the centre of the circle,

we can draw the jaw starting from the points wher the circle and the guideline meet.

We can draw the jaw either more "round" or with more corners,

depending on how we lke it.

I'd say that it's hight could be more or less as is the radius.

We'll coninue the symmetry line down to the chin

and then we'll draw two more guidelines; One for the nose and one for the mouth.

We'll draw the guideline for the nose about in the middle between

were the two axis meet

and here is where the nose will "sit",

and we'll draw the guideline for the mouth about in the 1/3 of the distance

from the nose guideline to the base of the chin. About on the first third.

So, here will be to openning of the mouth.

Now, let's draw the eyes. If we've drawn the horizontal axis

in the middle of the circle, we'll draw the eyes just under it,

so the upper head will be nough to include a "brain".

If we've drawn the line a bit bellow the centre,

we can draw the eyes with their centre to adjust with the horizontal axis.

Let's see what we'll do.

Also, we can calculate the distance between the two eyes

in an "eye" length. So, we say that if an eye is like that,

then the distance will be the same.

We can calculate the distance of the eyes from the sides as the same.

Then, we'll draw the nose and the ears.

We'll start drawing the ears from the height of the eyes

and they'll end where they "meet" the nose.

We said that the openning of the mouth will "sit" on the guideline we created.

A general rule that we can take advantage here is that the upper lip

in general is a bit thinner than the lower lip. Let's see what we'll do.

We can choose if the shape of the mouth will have more angles

or if it will be more rounded, depending on what we like.

But the same applies to all of the elements of the face.

The Top 7 YouTubers I enjoy watching | Vlogtober 2017 | Mari Dangerfield - Duration: 2:50.

Hey there this is Mari Dangerfield.

For today's video I'm gonna tell you about seven of the YouTubers that I enjoy watching.

Number seven: Fleur De Vlog/ Fleur De Force.

Fleur makes vlogs, beauty, fashion and homeware videos and though I'm less interested in those

kinds of videos, I do love the vlogs, especially when she's interacting with her lovely, lovely

pets.

Number six: Infinite Waters.

Ralph Smart's channel Infinite Waters is all about inspiring people to improve themselves

and their lives.

I like watching his channel because it's helped me to stay motivated and to improve as a person.

Number 5: Kristen Leo.

Kristen's channel is all about living an eco-friendly lifestyle, something I'm extremely passionate

about, and I especially enjoy her videos surrounding ethical fashion and vegan food.

Number four: Taylor R. Taylor R, or Taylor Richardson as her real name is a daily vlogger

from Canada who lives in Tokyo in Japan with her dog Rosie and her boyfriend.

Besides enjoying watching her clothing choices and food choices and her everyday adventures,

I love every time that her dog is leaping at her asking for food, playing that classic

theme tune.

Go chicken go!

Number three: Jazztutorial/The Musical ear.

Julian Bradley's channels offer a range of useful videos that work for anyone from a

beginner musician to a very advanced one.

For me, this channel helped me to improve my listening ability, which helped me to improve

my overall musicianship.

It also helped me to understand jazz chords and jazz vocabulary better.

Number two: Doddleoddle.

Now who doesn't love Dodie Clark?

Come on!

Her voice is beautiful, her songs are beautiful, and her songwriting style is not too far off

my own.

I really admire her for how she's persisted over the years and how far she has come on

YouTube.

Number one!

Can you guess what it is? Andrew Huang.

Andrew Huang is an incredibly diverse musician who creates music not only in diverse genres

and creates his own genres, but also using non-instruments to create music that are kind

of not so obvious like water and car tyres.

I really admire his ability to play so many different instruments and his ability to create

so many different genres of tracks and to engage his audience in that way.

Sampling is something that I enjoy doing but I've done nowhere near enough of and I would

aspire to do it to his level someday.

So there you have it: Those are the top seven channels that I enjoy watching on YouTube.

I hope you found it slightly surprising and it told you a little bit more about me.

If you liked the video please hit thumbs up and if you haven't already, subscribe to my

channel.

You can do that by clicking here and you can watch a couple of other videos right here.

Genteel Lancing Device — The Best Device for Blood Glucose Testing - Duration: 5:10.

The biggest benefit

is that I literally do not have to prick my fingers anymore.

One of the cool things about being

diabetes and nutrition fitness coaches

is that Cyrus and I get to learn

about new innovative products

from our hundreds of clients all over the world.

And I will never forget the day

when Tim posted in our private Facebook group

about a new lancing device that claimed to be

a pain free way to test blood glucose.

So I started looking into it eventually I got one,

I was very excited to see

that I could buy it on Amazon, I ordered it,

I got it the next day,

and I started using this thing and I have never looked back,

I wish I had picked this up a long time ago.

If you're living with diabetes

then you know the frustration

of having to prick yourself all the time.

So anything that can make this process

less painful is quite exciting to me.

In a nutshell the My Genteel Device

pricks your skin gently

and then uses a suction cup technology

to pull the blood out.

It's actually some really cool technology.

Another cool thing is that

you don't have to buy new lancets,

most lancets that you already have will work with this device,

so that's pretty cool.

For those living with insulin-dependent diabetes,

like Cyrus and myself,

we're both living with Type 1 diabetes,

it's absolutely essential to test your blood glucose

very frequently throughout the day.

If you're using a CGM

you can test yourself much less frequently,

like me, I'm using a Dexcom so I can test less frequently,

but you still have to test

and again, anything that makes that process

less painful is really good.

For those living with non insulin-dependent diabetes,

let's be clear here, the goal is to eventually

not have to test your blood glucose at all.

That's the goal,

that's that we teach in our coaching program,

that's where we wanna get those people to.

But getting to that place is a process,

and testing your blood glucose is part of that journey.

We're always asking our clients to report data,

mostly for Type 2s that test once in the morning

and again, if you can make that a pain free experience,

why not go ahead and do it?

The biggest benefit

is that I literally do not have to prick my fingers anymore.

For 16 years, I only pricked my fingers

and now I get to use other locations--

you can use all kinds of locations with this device--

but for me, I like to use

this arm area and the top of my knee cap,

and it works perfectly well.

So I'm going to do an example.

I'm gonna put in a new lancet.

Alright so, I'm just going to put it right here,

like that, just put it on the skin,

and then I'm gonna hit this button

and I'm gonna hold it for

you technically are supposed to hold it for 10 seconds,

sometimes I don't do that whole length of time.

There we go, perfect drop.

Just like that, 96.

So I've been using this device since April,

over 5 months now

and I absolutely love it,

but let's be honest nothing is perfect,

there is a couple of drawbacks, let's go over those.

The first drawback is that it's a little bit larger

than most lancing devices.

So this is the old one that I used right here

and this is the new one.

And honestly it fits perfectly in my insulin kit right here,

so to me it's not a big deal

and it's totally worth it for the pain free testing

and because I can use so many other locations.

The other drawback that I can think of

is that when you get the device

there's a little bit of a learning curve

and you can see here there's different color contact tips

that you can put that at the tip here, and that's gonna

have an impact on the depth of the pricking.

So for different locations

you might need to play around

with different color tips,

and that can be frustrating cause you might prick yourself

and you don't get enough, and that's never fun.

But once you've figured it out

I'm telling you, it's totally worth it.

You can also read a little more about this device

on our website MasteringDiabetes.org

and you can check out their website,

which is full of more information, testimonials and videos.

It's just a cool device guys, check it out.

In summary,

I love this device and I highly suggest you try it.

They have a 120 day money-back guarantee.

If you give it a shot and you don't think

it's better than your current lancing device

and you don't think it's worth the expense

then you can just go ahead and return it,

but I'm quite confident

that you are going to like it and

you are gonna be grateful that you saw this video.

We would love to hear from you,

so in the comments below please write

what type of diabetes you're living with,

and how often you test your blood glucose per day.

I look forward to seeing what you guys write

in the comments section

and going back and forth there

and talking about this important topic,

and I'll see you guys in the next video.
