hey everyone its James from fun foods and today I'm gonna show you how to make
these spiders using Oreo cookies and pretzels
it's a lot of fun you don't want to miss it so keep watching and I'll show you
step by step how to make these now the first thing we want to do is start off
with some chocolate candy wafers we just want to melt these down put it about
twenty to thirty seconds out of time and microwave until it's completely melted
and when our chocolate is all mixed up we're getting ready to move on to the
next step now if you find your chocolate is a little too thick you can put some
vegetable oil in there and that will help thin it out next what we're going
to do is just take some pretzels regular pretzels like this and the two top parts
are the parts we're going to use we're gonna make those the legs for our
spiders and how we're going to do that is we're just gonna cut across diagonal
like this now yet be careful get some extra pretzels because you will mess up
some and you just want to use sawing motion to cut them just like that and
we're left with this is going to be one of the spiders legs and we just keep
doing that and when your pretzels are all cut up now what we got to do is dip
them into our chocolate that we just melted and I'm going to dip a few at a
time and then take them out one by one and shake off the excess chocolate and
then put them somewhere where they can dry okay so I'm done dipping my little
pretzels in the chocolate and also cut out some really small ones these are
going to be like the fangs of the spider so we're just gonna let these dry
set these aside here and now we're going to move on to our next step which
I just have some wax paper here and I'm gonna use Double Stuf Oreos you can use
regular stuff that'll work fine I like the double stuff
let's just pull out three of these and we're going to dip these in the
chocolate as well now I'm gonna dip these in turn around cover really good
make sure you give yourself enough room between each one of these this is why
I'm only working with three of them right now I also have these mini Oreos
they are really small and we're gonna use three of those as well I'm gonna
pick out a better three that one's messed up and we're going to
dip these in the chocolate as well the only thing different now is when we pull
it out of here we're gonna push it up against our other Oreo cookie that way
that will be the head and it's already wet from the chocolate so they will join
together before we move on the next step I have these edible eyeballs I'm only
gonna do two of them with the edible eyeballs and the others I'm going to do
a different way now when the bodies and the heads have dried up now all we got to
do is carefully remove these I'm gonna trim up around the parts that the excess
chocolate went to next what I've done was melted some of the red candy melts
and I'm gonna use that as the eyeballs I told you there will be alternative to
just using the candy eyeballs so I just want to show you you could do that as
well or you can put red M&Ms on there or something like that
now our legs which is our pretzels have dried up also we're gonna take those and
we're gonna stack them it right next to the body not just stack them but we're
gonna join them up using still some of the melted chocolate now I'm just gonna
take a toothpick cuz we don't need much chocolate on these
and I'm going to put some right on the end here and we'll start near the front
and we'll put a leg right there that's it for the legs now what we got to do is
put on the little things that are in the front and that's where these two small
pieces came in there we go there is one spider right there now we're going to do
that with the rest of these and that'll be it well now it's time for the taste
test that's my favorite time of every video of course I get to taste one of
these chocolate-covered Oreo cookies with chocolate covered pretzels
basically the only thing different on this one is I have two candy eyeballs so

they're very simple to do it's not really a recipe it's more or less just
dipping Oreo cookies and chocolate and dipping pretzels and chocolate and
