So today we are going to be talking about Savants.
Savants just for you guys who might not now is a person that has a very rare condition
that gives them a super ability.
But because of their super ability in one area they are left with a mental disability.
People with savant syndrome generally have a neurodevelopment disorder such as autism
spectrum disorder or a brain injury.
Ok so let's get into this super list at number 10 with, Leslie Lemke who is an American
Autistic savant who is most recognized for his work as a musician.
Leslie is a musical genius.
Lesie is not able to talk, dress himself or even feed himself but he is able to sing and
play the piano.
that is just the most incredible thing ive ever seen.
Leslies parents couldn't take care of him so he was left in foster where May Lemke the
woman right here took him in and she loved him right away.
She loved his music.
Leslie actually went on tour and performed for people.
Next up at number 9 we have another musical genius.
This right here is Derek Paraviccini.
He is able to talk and communicate a little bit.
His IQ is of a 4 yr old but he is able to play music.
He is an expert of the piano.
Derek is known as a musical prodigy and he is only 38 yrs old and seems to be getting
better and better at his craft.
Dereks blindness was caused by an overdose of oxygen therapy given during his time in
the neonatal intensive care unit which is very sad.
So he wasn't born blind he was blind because of a doctors mistake.
Number 8.
We have another blind savant but you would never know he is blind because he uses a very
unique way of seeing.
This right here is ben Underwood who was born in Riverside California back in 1992.
He is very healthy but just after a month of being born his pupil became white and he
went blind due to cancer But Ben never complained instead he figured out a way to still see.
He uses Echo Location, this is the same technique to see as bats.
Ben would make clicking sounds with his mouth and listen for the sounds to bounce of something
and echo back to him that's how he knows where he is and if anything is around him.
moving into number 7.
We have Stephen Wiltshire who has been drawing international attention because of his memory
and his amazing art ability.
Take a look at this image this is just a small portion of a massive city land scape.
Stephen goes on 1 helicopter ride per city he visits and from memory he is able to draw
the whole city.
He is able to draw everything building, every window ever shadow on the building.
Stephen has been awarded for many awards in the art world.
At a very young age Stephen took interest in drawing things from memory and one of his
teachers entered his drawings in compititions in which he would win.
At just 7 yrs old the media started to take interest in him.
Alright number 6.
This is Alonzo Clemons.
He is an American animal sculptor and a savant.
He lives in Colorado.
Alonzo has suffered from a severe brain injury as a child that left him with a development
disability.
He has an iq in the 40-50 range, which means he is unable to read or write and he lacks
the communication skills as well.
Although he has a low IQ this doesn't stop him from Sculpting.
He is able to quickly replicate a 3D model of almost any creature after just seeing a
glimpse of it.
He can also take any picture and make it 3d.
He has been selling his sculptures some sell up to $45,000 apiece.
His creations are just remarkable and very real looking.
Also another interest Alonzo took was in body building.
He became a power weight lifter.
Number 5.
We have Tommy McHugh from liverpool.
When he was 51 yrs old he suffered a stroke on both sides of his brain that resulted in
two burst blood vessels and he was sent into a coma for a week.
After he came out of the coma he became an artist.
He became a savant.
Tommy is able to create abstract art without even thinking about it.
Before all of this Tommy was actually a troubled criminal who went in and out of prison.
He has broken both his hands and knockles from fights.
Tommy said the stroke took all the anger out of him and gave him this gift.
He lived with this gift for about 11 yrs until he passed away from Cancer.
Number 4.
This right here is Jacob Barnett.
He was the youngest person in the world who is an astrophysics researcher.
This is the branch of astronomy that researchers the physical nature of stars and space.
At the age of just 10 yrs old Jacob decided to drop out of public school because it was
boring to him so he tough himself all of high school math in just 2 weeks so he can be ready
for college.
Well at 11 yrs old he entered college.
At 17 he became the most promising physicists.
Jacob appearently has a higher iq than Albert Einstien.
Daniel Tammet is up next at number 3.
Daniel is the walking human calculator.
He is able to calculate anything in his head within seconds.
At the age of 3 yrs old Daniel suffered an epileptic fit and that's when he gained
his super ability.
He is able to see numbers as shapes and patterns
and objects.
Daniel has demonstrated his ability to remember numbers as well.
He was once tested to memories 22,000 numbers in order and say them out loud to an audience.
Next up we have the worlds only female autistic savant twins at number 2.
They were given the nickname the rain man twins.
These twins can memories anything they have come into contact with.
They were a huge fan of this guy.
This is Dick Clark who passed away in 2012.
The twins watched every single show of his and are able to remember every single outfit
he wore daily for 40 yrs.
Finally, at number 1 we have Kim Peek.
Kim Peek has also earned the nick name of Rain Man because of his extortionary ability
to remember everything.
Kim Peek usually goes to the library to read a ton of books and it takes him no time to
read a book.
With his left eye he would read the left page and with the right eye he would read the right
page and then in his mind he would put the book in order.
Kim has also been known as the smartest man alive.
Although he has this incredible memory it also came with severe developmental disability
related to congenital brain abnormalities.

Weekly Entertainment Wrap Up #62 [CC] - Duration: 4:45.
Hi, YouTube, it's Kathy, and this is my Weekly Entertainment Wrap Up for March 4th - 10th.
I'm am currently vacation, which is why this is a different background than normal, and I'm
a very sleepy introvert after being in Disney World for four days, so this is also going
up a little later than usual, and I'm sure you're all okay with that.
This week I read 2 books, I watched 1 show, I watched 4 movies, and I listened to 1 book.
First this week, I finished Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire.
This is the third in the Wayward Children series.
This story followed a few teens from Eleanor West's Home for Wayward Children who wanted
to correct a mistake that that would basically make their new friend not exist, and we got
to revisit some of the characters and locations from previous books.
We also learned the lay of a whole new world.
These novellas are fun because you get a taste of a strange new place, and since it's not
consistent logic between different worlds, anything goes.
This series is entertaining, and I kind of enjoy not knowing where it's going to go next.
My next read this week was Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell.
This is wee little book published for World Book Day.
Our protagonist, Elena, is sitting in line for the first showing of The Force Awakens,
about four days before it actually happens.
She thought there would be tons of fans doing the same, like with the original [trilogy],
but that's not how it plays out.
This was short and sweet, and I enjoyed it.
Before I left for vacation, I got a text from my best friend saying that Rupaul's Drag
Race season 9 was now on Netflix, so that evening I watched episodes 1 through 6.
This show is tricky for me, because on the one hand I enjoy this type of entertainment
and creative expression, and on the other hand I know that elements of the culture are transphobic.
There runs this parallel of saying "screw you" to gender conformity where at the same
time adhering to rigid, gendered standards.
This show, like any other reality show, is produced to bring up certain issues.
I'm glad we saw a queen come out as trans, because that's not the narrative we are fed
about this culture.
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 had some writing issues, and a few "because reasons"
moments, and was heavy handed at times.
It wasn't a waste of my viewing time, but it wasn't as strong as I wanted.
I got the MCU blues out of my head by watching Thor: Ragnarok on the way to Florida.
In my opinion, this is the best of the Thor movies.
The most enjoyable aspect, for me, was seeing the interactions between the different characters
that we have seen throughout the MCU.
Since I still had some time to kill on the plane, I also watched Murder on the Orient Express.
This movie was worth it for his glorious mustache.
Some small things were changed from the book, and some of the small details were rushed.
Mrs. Hubbard didn't mention her daughter every other sentence, which is just weird.
That was part of the reason I enjoyed how Branagh read her character in the movie tie
in version of the audiobook.
Overall, it was beautifully shot and enjoyable, but lacked some of the details if you're
familiar with the book.
On Friday, Annie, Paige, Sarah, and I went to see A Wrinkle in Time, because we figured
seeing a Disney movie on a Disney property on the opening day was just too good of an opportunity
to pass up while I was in Florida for the first time.
We were an interesting mix, in that this book was Annie's Harry Potter while growing up,
Paige has never read it, Sarah's read some but not all of it, and then I read it as a
kid and then again a couple years ago.
Although it was beautifully shot, we felt it had a couple of editing and pacing issues.
We spent a lot of time on the Lettuce Dragon that didn't seem fruitful.
Sarah wanted more explanation as to how Charles Wallace knew the Mrs. I loved all the casting
and we were so excited to see a girl of colour in this lead role.
It was enjoyable experience, but we all felt like we should come away loving it, and we didn't.
This week I listened to An Unkindness of Ghosts by Rivers Solomon.
I'm not going to lie; I picked up this book because I really liked the collective noun in the title.
I also have a book on my holds list called An Unkindness of Magicians... for the reason.
This book takes place on a huge spaceship, where people are separated in social class
by the floors on which they live, and it is run by a monarchy.
The ship has been in operation for hundreds of years, and that has somehow that has resulted
in the upper decks, people who are fair skinned, having privileges over those on the lower
decks, who are dark skinned.
The lower deckers work without wages, and are beaten basically anytime the guards feel like it.
This was an uncomfortable mixture of slavery but in space and characters with interesting
interpersonal dynamics.
It's hard to read futuristic books in which the author has decided not only to continue to
devalue marginalized groups, but regress [the society] into sexist, homophobic, and racist ways of thinking.
There are aspects that make it worth a read, but a lot of it reads like tragedy porn.
That's it for this week.
If you've read, watched, or listened to any of these, let me know about it down in the comments below.
On the way down to the comments, if you could hit that Subscribe button, that would be very nice of you.
You can also like and share this as you see fit, and I will see you next time.
Bye!

Top 5 Delicate Hidden Easter Eggs - Duration: 3:22.
Top 5 delicate Easter eggs Today were are going to be talking about Easter
eggs.
And no im not referring to the ones made of chocolate that the Easter bunny drops off
at your house- although those are great.
Im talking about the ones that refer to an intentional inside joke- hidden message or
image- or secret feature of work.
And today were going to be looking for the Easter eggs in Taylor Swifts newest music
video Delicate- which was just released last night.
Hey youtube im Court McGinley and welcome back to the most amazing top 5.
Before we get started I want to know what is your favorite Taylor Swift song- let me
know your answers down in the comments.
Personally theres so many great ones I cant choose.
But im going to see her live in concert this summer- so im so excited for that and hopefully
after that I will have a favorite song.
Alright guys lets get started on our list of the top 5 delicate Easter eggs
Coming in at our number 5 spot--Snake ring- A few times during the music video you can
see that Taylor has a gorgeous snake ring on her right hand.
And as we all know taylor loves her snakes.
It may have started off as a joke a few years back in 2016 when the Taylor Swift is a snake
hastag was born.
But she quickly turned this around in her favor- and when announcing her new album she
shared 2 cryptic video snippets across her social media platforms with snakes slithering
across the screen.
And then we got hit with her look what you made me do music video.
Where she really embraced the snakes.
I mean heck she even trained them to pour her tea..thats pretty impressive.
in at number 4--Getaway car- Now this is kind of a stretch but hey sometimes that's how
easter eggs work.
For this one were taking it out to the streets where its raining.
And whats more fitting then dancing in the rain?
Nothing.
So taylor gets to dancing and singing and for a few seconds in the background in one
of the clips you can see a car on the right of the screen- so some people are saying-
more like hoping- that this is a hint that her next music video will be for the fan favorite
song Getaway car.
Like I said it's a stretch..but its possible.
Coming in at number 3--Delicate- Throughout this music video- especially during all of
her amazing yet hilarious dance scenes you can see the word Delicate pop up every now
and then.
For example when shes in the lobby in front of all the computers doing a balletic sequence-
if you look really closely at the monitors you can see that the name of the hotel is
Hotel Delicat.
You can see the word again spray painted on a garage door that she dances by when shes
out dancing and singing in the rain- as mentioned in the previous point.
In this same scene you can also see the word reputation spray painted on another garage
door.
Also on yet another garage door you see the phrase "Echoes of your footsteps" spray
painted on which is a lyric from this music video.
coming in at number 2--Track 5- Here we have yet another Easter egg involving spray paint-
for this one we have taylor dancing in the subway station and then behind her on one
of the pillars you see Track 5 is spray painted on.
Now normally you wouldn't think much about this- subways are usually filled with graffiti--
but then you do a little digging.
And you find out that Delicate is actually the 5th track on the Redemption album.
Sneaky sneaky. and in at number 1--Joes Deli- now this one
is just cute. Taylor gave a little nod to her boyfriend Joe Alwyn in the form of a store
sign.
This takes us back outside to wheres shes dancing in the rain in the streets.
Yeah it seems like this scene is filled with Easter eggs. and during this scene we see
a sign for joes deli behind her.
At first I was curious why taylor would choose to put joes deli of all things.
Maybe he really likes meat- guessing hes definitely not a vegetarian.
But then you think about it…Deli…Deli-cate.
Yeah…I see what she did there.
And there you have it that's or list of the top 5 delicate easter eggs.
Thank you all so much for watching.
Show us some love by giving this video a big thumbs up and ill catch you in the next one.
