Volkswagen Golf 7.5 R Performance with Akrapovič goodness! - Duration: 8:19.
There was only 1 thing the Golf R needed improving on: more sound from the exhaust.
I hope the subtitles... This is an insane amount of sound.
This is the updated Golf R.
A facelift is usually more LEDs, a new display, and a bigger infotainment system.
I can tell you all about it, but the most important news is Akrapovič.
It's a nice titanium exhaust system. It costs a lot of money; 3,500 euros at the Volkswagen dealer.
Tunnel!
It does make a lot of sound. I think it's nice.
It's funny. The advantage is it's 7 kg (15 lb) lighter.
It's titanium, so it costs more. It's a pretty and expensive material. It's that simple.
In theory these exhausts get you lower CO2 emissions, making for a lower purchase price.
It's only theory for now, so I'm letting that slide.
The Golf R is a car you have to grab by its horns. This makes it fun.
Accelerate from a 3-way junction...
It has 4motion, which means a Haldex all-wheel drive system.
It's the latest generation, so it doesn't need much wheelspin to react.
You have grip grip grip. You can use launch control, even on slippery surfaces.
The numbers are not to be ignored with these cars.
It has a 2-liter TSI engine with 10 hp extra.
That's not a big upgrade compared to the non-facelift version, but it's tunable.
The number of torques is different depending on the transmission you choose.
The DSG has 400 Nm (295 lb ft) and the manual transmission has 380 Nm (280 lb ft) torque.
This is nice. It gives you a PlayStation feel. Shifting gears and it keeps going.
The DSG gives you launch control, which you can use every time.
Every time.
That's nice. 0-100 kph (62 mph) takes 4.6 seconds.
With a manual transmission it's 5.1 seconds. It has less torque and no launch control.
It's a big difference. We made a video of launch control vs no launch control.
You can see the numbers. Of course, the top speed is limited to 250 kph (155 mph).
However, there's an option to remove that limit.
The Variant wagon does 270 kph (168 mph) and the hatchback does 267 kph (166 mph).
I couldn't find the option in the Dutch configurator. I don't know what's going on there.
I think it'll be okay.
Speaking of prices and the configurator: this is an expensive Golf.
A Golf starts at 23,000 euros. You can get a discount.
This car is 74,000 euros. It has a lot of features.
Assistent systems, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, a big satnav with touchscreen,
Dynaudio, a sunroof, different rims, the color, leather upholstery,
heated seats, adaptive suspension, start-stop (probably standard), park distance with camera,
LED lights, automatic transmission...
To round it off, why would you buy this Golf R?
The nice DSG backfires from the Akrapovič exhaust. You got me. Sold.
It's fun. It's a nice car.
The Golf GTI is nice too, but this is a step further.
All-wheel drive may be boring sometimes, but it's a good all-wheel drive system.
It's dry, so it can put its power down. I get the Golf R's charm in the wet or snow.
It's the most powerful one. That helps.
There are more super hatchbacks with more than 300 hp.
The Audi S3, Audi RS3 with a nice 5-cylinder engine, BMW M135i or M140i, Ford Focus RS...
This is the more sensible choice because you can tell people you have a Golf.
It's a nice Golf, but it's just a Golf.
People know it and get it. They won't think it's very expensive.
This one is, though.
Those in the know see it's a Golf R with Akrapovič and performance brakes.
It brakes really well, by the way.
It's 2 kg (4 lb) lighter. Fans and those who have other cool cars drive a Golf R daily.
Why? The package is good.
They often have a history with Volkswagen or Golf.
Most people don't buy a Ferrari or Porsche as their first car.
A Golf or Volkswagen keeps calling.
If you still have doubts, I'll show you launch control one more time.
I can do that on a 80 kph (50 mph) road.
It's so much fun.
I hope there's no limit on how many times you're allowed to do it.
We will have passed that limit. There's a bump here.
Did you hear the wheelspin? It caught some air.
It's easier with a Golf R than my own car, an M135i.
Rear-wheel drive is fun on many occasions, but all-wheel drive has its charms too.

WAYSHOWERS At the exact point of the forthcoming �LIGHT
WAVE�, certain humans will serve as energetic node points across GAIA.
They are positioned accurately.
As energetic nodes, their light will link up across the WHOLE of GAIA as a HUMAN GRID
SYSTEM.
They came in, this lifetime to do this, for humanity, for Gaia, her kingdoms, the solar
system and beyond (ripple effect).
They know who they are, they serve the WHOLE, period.
So this post is specific to those individuals:
After recent Trigger Point (spurring the �loving detachment� phase), came a rest period.
SELF CARE NOW / INCREASE and HOLD FREQUENCY Now we enter a period of SELF CARE and CLEAR
OBSERVATION MODE, in order to be at optimum frequency at the time of the �LIGHT WAVE�.
It is essential (and you know it) for this period, or will very soon realise this within.
Self care means caring for all our bodies:
PHYSICAL BODY Sleep needs, food and fluid needs, exercise
needs, skin/muscle/blood/nerve needs (your body will tell you what is required).
MENTAL BODY We have already pulled away from much.
Yet there is a paramount need for awareness in what we allow into our own time and space.
What drains you?
Who drains you?
Be aware and take action for the highest good (the ALL).
Being aware of outside forces draining our energy field is paramount to ensuring, holding,
rising to our highest frequency possible NOW.
When helping another, are you simply �feeding� them or is the assistance serving the whole?
Being drained down of your own energy when participating in other human contact is something
to look into, at INNER level.
EMOTIONAL BODY Our emotions are our indicator (gifted by
our Higher Aspect), to show us how aligned we are in any one moment TO our Higher Aspect.
There is a centralised point of balance, harmony, peace and bliss.
There are energies either side of this serving as a barometer.
Where some emotions are lower energy frequency and to the other side of the scale are higher
energy bursts of frequency.
The third dimensional construct labels human emotions, yet at their core truth, emotions
are just energy at variable frequencies.
It is essential at this time, pre-shift to observe our own frequency (via observation
of our emotions), in order to adjust, work at, in order to BE the balance, BE the harmony,
BE the peace, BE LOVE.
And keep observing, keep adjusting back to central point of balance in these NOW times
for we must BE the highest frequency at LIGHT WAVE, to serve as we intended to all along.
LIGHT BODY Work AS THE LIGHT BODY.
For you are it NOW.
You know that, so work as THAT for it is YOU.
By now you know what to do from your inner guidance system.
Connections increase and heighten now as intended per individual and their divine missions.
It�s action time pre-WAVE.
Gaia and her kingdoms, galactic, humans�are connecting NOW pre-Wave at increased levels,
working together at energetic levels for the greatest good.
As the human that connects the HUMAN GRID, you will be working (knowingly or unknowingly)
with the other humans doing the same GRID task.
This is focused work�be aware of anything �outside� TRYING to distract away from
this work.
DARK ENERGY Awareness in all moments now� up until LIGHT
WAVE.
Dark energy will try all methods to lower your frequency.
They are aware of you.
They will use whatever means, be it a sick relative, the elderly, friends, loved one,
family, fellow Lightworkers and people just now awakening at this 11th hour who feel confused
and panicked.
Dark energies will LITERALLY use ANYONE with any weak spot they can enter.
Use discernment and watch your own energies as a gauge.
Guard your own energy with your own tools.
The dark know what�s coming.
So they will attempt to infiltrate the HIGH FREQUENCY humans who create the HUMAN GRID
at LIGHT WAVE point, those that absorb the highest light on behalf of the ALL.
HELPING OTHERS For these �humans� (starseeds) with this
pre-agreed task, we have now reached (or you will reach very shortly) Self Care Mode (not
selfish care mode�huge difference).
We continue to help others yet will have AWARENESS at this juncture.
At this 11th hour, we NOW discern where help will or can be of benefit.
Yet quietly knowing each are divine aspects of Source, each having THEIR individualised
experience within the illusionary scenario, and knowing all ARE LOVED and cared for.

chosen their current path at pre-birth stage.
As Love for ALL we continue to assist, but not at the expense of the GREATER PICTURE,
or the expense of the ENERGY we have thus embodied, continue to embody for we have come
here to BIRTH NEW energy through our physical bodies on behalf of the UNIFIED FIELD of ONE.
ENERGIES Naturally, as we embody more energy and become
heightened frequency beings, we are able to withstand greater, more powerful energies
with each current and ongoing incoming wave.
These current and timely incoming energies WILL ONLY become stronger in order to build
up our human body�s physical and mental ability to withstand the LIGHT WAVE at the
highest capable INPUT to the human vehicle.

This is so weird because I used to do this to other people in high school now. It's like I didn't

My past is
Kind of filled with a lot of hardship. Especially as a kid
I was always moving around from California to Washington and just had a lot of family issues.
But that I guess influenced me in a way. I was just knowing that when I got older
I had already been through a lot.
So I guess problems didn't affect me as much and I could sound stronger.
My past let me know that I have a story and
Then after that I would make it a point to try and get to know other people's stories
Like sit down, and literally talk to them about problems and just like have a good conversation with them.
And you just realize like wow like literally everyone has a story and something that they're going through.
I guess it really just showed me how necessary those stories need to be shared.
I really like making videos. That's one thing that I've been doing
for the last couple years one channel that I have it's called Michael dot P Larsen
But then I also have my other channel called the spoken truth
And that was the channel that I created it very intentionally for videos that can make an impact
and just just like really touch on things and like get deep and get real because I think
There's not enough of that and this world especially
I think a lot of people are just afraid to like share their feelings and share what they're going through
But that's a channel where I wan to where I can break that stereotype
And just like really dive deep and like talk about things that we don't necessarily talk about
My goal is to change the world
Some people look at that and like I like say "yada yada he's going to change the world"
but no, that's actually what I'm going to do and
I really feel called to do something bigger than myself. I'm not here to get an education

We begun this day by visiting Binh Tay Market
The original Binh Tay Market building is currently closed
They closed it last year for renovation that will cost $4,6 million
The building itself is close to 100 years old so it is a good time for renovation
But all the small stalls that are normally inside the market are now outside
There are basically no tourists here
They sell everything here
From dried fish to live fish, everything you should need
Many small stalls that sell anything you'd want
Binh Tay Market is located in Chinatown of Ho Chi Minh City
This place is very interesting
Chinatown is totally the opposite of what we showed you on our last video
Very hectic
Not very walk-able
No bubble tea, no vegetarian food
It's cool, interesting and there are no tourists here
Everyone seems to be working hard
You can see many scooters with a lot of things to deliver everywhere
This Chinatown district of Ho Chi Minh City is called Cholon
The roots of Cholon go all the way to the year 1778
So this place has been a part of the development of the city itself
This market is located outside of the tourism and business district that we visited on our last video
So we rode here with Grab
The ride was 72 000 dong (roughly 2,7 euros)
Which is a fair price to pay for the six kilometers ride instead of walking here
You can also find the Japanese district here in Ho Chi Minh City
If you miss Japanese food, you can find it here
There are many restaurants here
Many Japanese businessmen come here especially in the evening since you can get service in Japanese here
And you can get authentic Japanese food here
We'll now have something lovely for lunch
While we were making a tough choice of where to dine
We noticed first three businessmen entering this restaurant and then two business women
So we followed them to this place that is full of people
They're having a conversation in Japanese in the booth next to us
It really feels like we're in Japan
This place is called Robata Dining An and it feels like an authentic Japanese experience here

You can still clearly see signs of the French colonial period here in Ho Chi Minh City
We are now at the French Square located on District one
And behind me you can see the Notre Dame Cathedral
The square is beautiful; besides the cathedral you can also see a gorgeous post office here
The post office is still in use
Unfortunately the Notre Dame Cathedral is currently undergoing a renovation
At the moment it's closed for public
The newly renovated post office and the Notre Dame Cathedral are both from 1880's
When you enter the post office, the first thing you see is a painting of Ho Chi Minh
After that you'll notice a huge amount of souvenirs
A lot of tourists as well
And then there's the actual post office that the locals still use
It's quite a funny combination
It's a nice place to see
I liked this place a lot
Here at the post office you can also see old phone booths
At the time when we didn't have phones in our pockets, these phone booths played an important role in the post office and in the flow of information
These days the phone booths have been transformed into ATM's
One of the perks on traveling by foot...
One of the perks on traveling by foot here is that you can come across many design boutiques
Then you enter them like "okay, I may need to prepare myself of paying large amounts..."
But they're actually cheap!
The Vietnamese design is very affordable and cute
I bought a bag, that they put in this tote bag that's actually made of paper
Inside here there's a pack bag
I payed only about 12 euros for this very nice looking pack bag
And good service
My recommendations for this store called JAMLOS
They have so many nice things to sell here
During the rush hour you should be careful while walking since many take a shortcut through the pavement
One thing that's from the French colonial period is a very Vietnamese treat called banh mi, literally meaning bread
It combines French treats like baguette and pate with Vietnamese ingredients
It's basically a sandwich
It's a bit more airy and the crust is thinner than in the European baguette
And it's absolutely delicious
We've heard that this small stall we're now queuing is the best banh mi place in the world
I'm so excited!
This stall is open from 5 pm to 9 pm or 10 pm and you always need to queue
This place, Banh Mi 37, has been praised abroad as well
There is this lady making the sandwiches with two helpers; one collecting the money and one grilling meatballs
It looks like they filled the baguette with vegetables, meatballs, nice sauces and herbs
A quick roll into a paper, baguettes in the bag and the bag to the customer
It's 18 000 dong a piece (roughly 0,65 euros)
I took two since I was so excited
So looking forward to taking a bite
The bread has been nicely warmed over the grill
And the meatballs are warm as well
So freakin' good
Delicious vegetables, delicious spices
Definitely a 5/5 sandwich
I would definitely come back
Every time I'll visit Ho Chi Minh City from now on, I'll definitely come and buy one of these
"Can I get some food? Can I get some food? I want banh me as well!"
We visited China, Japan and France in one day here in Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City is just amazing - I'm very positively surprised
It's now one of my favorite metropolises
It's a huge city where you can find anything you want
There are already some skyscrapers here but they're constantly building more
There are all the services one would need
Absolutely delicious food, cheap
We'll definitely travel back here
