Hello ladies and gentlemen, this is Dante, and today we're gonna talk about the characters
that I would like to see in Smash Switch.
Smash Switch.
It comes out this year, in 2018.
Speculations and predictions are going crazy right now.
So, I thought I'd throw my hat in the mix.
I've come up with a short list of characters that I would like to see in Smash 5 and why
I think they'd be a good fit.
So, let me know in the comments below who you'd like to see in the next Smash Bros game.
So without further ado, let's go ahead and dive in.
So number one, I would have to say one of the champions from Breath of the Wild.
While it'd be nice to see all of the champions from Breath of the Wild, I think Urbosa would
be my first pick for a Smash fighter, and Daruk is not far behind.
I mean, the champions were such powerful beings that played such a significant role in Breath
of the Wild, which is one of the games that actually made people go out and buy the Switch.
I mean, yeah, Smash is gonna be an extremely heavy hitter, but Breath of the Wild is, like,
THE game.
Like, there's no contesting it.
But back to the point.
Urbosa is a BOLD character, and she could honestly have a really wide moveset.
Not to mention, she's got the spirit and drive of a Gerudo, and if you're not familiar with
Zelda, they're very tough warriors.
I mean, it also wouldn't hurt to have another female character in the game.
So number two, I would have to say Baby Mario and Luigi, and they would play like the Ice
Climbers.
I'm not saying that I'm not saying that I support ANOTHER Mario character in Smash
Bros.
But I'm supporting another Mario character in Smash Bros.
This one is a little different, though, so hear me out!
Baby Mario and Baby Luigi never really get recognition in games like this, and the tradition
of having a two-in-one character should be continued, honestly.
We had the Ice Climbers (which should also return), Rosalina in Smash 4, and we could
see the Babies in Smash 5!
I think the way it would play out could be really interesting, and the movesets that
I picture is similar to how their combat worked in Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time.
Actually, I mean it could work like any of the Mario and Luigi games, it would just be
interesting to see them as fully functional fighters.
So number three, I would have to say it's Wolf.
There are two types of people in this world.
The ones that welcome Wolf back into Smash Bros, and the ones that simply do not care
that he was dismissed from the series.
I, for one, would love to see him back.
I mean he was a solid fighter with a different enough moveset to be his own character.
It would be nice to see even more variation, but I would welcome Wolf back even if he was
the same character.
Number four, I would have to say, a fighter from Pokken Tournament.
I mean take a look at Pokken Tournament.
Those Pokemon are trained to kick some butt, and they are ready to fight in Smash.
I would personally love to see Empoleon or Garchomp in the mix.
I mean, these Pokemon would be AWESOME in Smash 5.
Empoleon would be a welcome starter added to the mix.
We could use Pokemon that AREN'T overrated (I'm looking at you Charizard) to be a part
of Smash 5.
Empoleon is a heavy hitter with a lot of health in Pokken, so he could be another heavy hitting
Pokemon.
His mobility isn't the best, so maybe he could play like a somewhat faster and slightly
weaker Bowser?
I don't know.
Garchomp is a heavy hitter too, but his playstyle is different.
He has quite a mix-up game and he can really toy with opponents before ending them.
I mean, both of these Pokemon would do well in Super Smash Brothers, in my honest opinion.
Last, but not least, number five.
Spring Man.
Alright, let's be honest, we're probably gonna see an ARMS character in Smash, and
Springman fits the bill pretty well.
He is a balanced fighter.
It would be interesting to see one of his specials act like Samus's taunt did in Project
M, where she could change beams with a touch of a button and it would drastically change
how you play as that character.
With a mechanic like that for Spring Man, you know, kinda changing ARMS with the touch
of a button, I mean I feel like that could be beneficial.
It would change a basically boring character into a dynamic one that could mix things up
in the middle of the battle.
I think it would be cool to see this, and honestly, a character with that kind of mechanic
would be a welcome addition to Smash Bros.
So there you have it, those are the characters I would like to see in Smash 5.
