To release stress I came from Sapporo to Tokyo and I'll return tonight.

Yes, it actually makes me want to cry.

Hey guys it's Cathy Cat on ask Japanese. Today we go ask Japanese people

on the streets of Japan, what they want to do when they want to relax.

You know that in Japan people work really hard, and people are very stressed.

So we are gonna find out what they do to release that stress.

Today's topic is relaxation. When to Japanese people relax?

I get more relaxed when I spend time with friends.

Chatting releases stress? - Yeah like that.

I eat a lot of sweets.

Nice one. How many sweets and how much time with friends does the job?

I meet my friends once a month. That about does it for me.

If I go to work, I have some sweets then.

Where in Japan would you go to relax?

Into my duvet.

That's right.

So especially in the colder seasons, do you use the hot table?

Kotatsu yes. (Table with heater underneath)

Once I sit under a hot table, I don't get out of it again.

It's just so nice and warm.

To explain it, a kotatsu it's a table that has a blanket underneath.

And under the blanket is another heating unit.

Yes that's right.

I go shopping to release stress.

We call it "Retail Therapy" abroad.

Buying something to make yourself feel good.

It makes me feel good. I buy makeup products, sweets and such.

I release stress when I eat tasty things.

What tasty stuff are we talking about?

Sweet things and... I also like coffee so I like going to cafes.

Any cafe you can recommend?

We are actually coming from Sapporo, you might not know the cafe Morhiko.

It's not crowded so I can unwind there.

I don't have a relaxation area in Sapporo.

That's why I came all the way from Sapporo to Tokyo and will return tonight.

I go shopping here.

You came all the way from Sapporo? - Yes. I will return tonight.

Wow. When was the last time you had a chance to relax?

I went to Disneyland yesterday. It was so much fun and stress releasing.

Won't you be tired in the evening? - I was a little.

But your heart was relaxed? - My heart was full of happiness.

I went to Disney too, we had a good time there.

Which place can you recommend? - The parade at Disney Sea!

So you watched it and were like 'waaah' - It was really romantic.

You came all the way from a different island of Japan, Hokkaido.

Is there a relaxation spot you can recommend?

The Yamanaka Farm's Ice Cream is super delicious.

I go to eat it a lot.

What's so good about that farm in particular?

It's called Yamanaka Farm, but it's actually not a farm.

It's just a store. But their ice cream has a very rich flavor.

It's an ice cream that really has a rich Hokkaido taste. I love it.

I love Anime and Manga. They help me to release stress and give me joy.

What Anime or Manga?

I like fighting and idol anime.

- And you are the same? - Yes I LOVE anime too!

What anime style do you like the most? - I like the ones with handsome guys.

Handsome 2D guys all the way!

I also love Tsukiuta, so I am Tsukiuta fan.

We just went to the special store for it.

There is a production company called "Tsukipro"

Their idols are all from the 2.5D realms.

This anime is also part of that production company.

What's the best about idol anime?

When they sing and dance! - Yes.

- Guys you don't exist in real life. - They really shine when they perform.

- Like *sigh* - Yes it actually makes me want to cry.

If you watch an anime you relieve stress right?

Is one episode not enough? Does it have to be more than two and such?

One episode does me alright!

Yeah actually if I watch more than one episode I get too excited.

It won't be relaxing anymore, it will be a bit too much excitement.

One episode a day is enough for me.

Everything is good measures.

Talking about Anime, where do you watch it, what do you do at the time?

Do you put down some snacks or do other things to enjoy it more?

We both already have two kids you see. I first finish all my housework.

I make sure all the cleaning around the house is done. Then when it's my relax time...

I sit down under our kotatsu, make myself tea and drink it while watching.

I love doing that.

That sounds fun. First work hard, get in the kotatsu, have your tea

then it's your shiny time.

Exactly. It gives me the motivation to go on for another day.

I get that. I would also add some chocolate. Chocolate, tea and anime.

Isn't that the best? How did you become friends?

Our kids went to the same kindergarten.

So we are like mama friends.

We figured out we both like Manga, started spending time with each other...

And then we started going to anime events. And so we became friends.

Making friends is another way to reduce stress too.

You both love anime too? - We love it!

So in order to relax, do you watch anime too?

Oh yes we do that. - What Anime is the best for relax time?

So are you into fighting anime or handsome guy anime?

- There are so many. - Which is the best?

- Handsome 2D guys. - Handsome guys and cute things. All of it.

When do you feel stressed?

When I get shouted at and such .... there is a lot...

You said you sing Karaoke to release stress. How long do you sing to feel better?

I usually go use the free time. I can't give you a time limit there.

Free time guys means, all-you-can-sing, right?

Yes! And you also get free drinks during that time.

So when you get out, are you like "yes relaxed!" - Yeah.

I sing to release stress.

What do you sing?

I sing songs of my favourite artists like "Sekai no Owari" at karaoke.

Do you go alone of with friends?

Both really.

How long do you sing to make yourself feel better?

Until my throat hurts. About 10-20 songs.

I generally spend 2 hours there.

Spend 2-3 hours singing to your hearts content? - Exactly.

I sing at karaoke too but if I don't have time I sing in the bathroom to release stress.

What do you generally do to relax yourself. - I massage myself.

My legs and such.

I massage myself in the bathtub, when my body is warm, then go to sleep.

When did you recently relax?

I am playing soccer you see, and after the tournament was over I relaxed.

I had been nervous beforehand.

After that was over I relaxed.

I play soccer too. After tournaments, I eat some nice sweets and relax.

What do you eat? - I like fruit drinks so I have those to relax.

I get the feeling you both are living a very healthy lifestyle.

We eat properly too. Meat and such.

You can see that Japanese people have different ways to relax.

Some went to a cafe, some to a kotatsu, some were doing retail therapy.

... I do that quite a lot...

One of the weirdest things we have ever done with the Ask Japanese channel...

USING THE INFORMATION, AND LATER OF COURSE THEY ACQUIRED IT IN

ILLEGAL WAYS, THAT'S A DIFFERENT PROBLEM AND A HUGE PROBLEM FOR

THEM PRESENTLY. I WANT TO SHOW YOU ROBERT AND REBEKAH MERCER,

THEY ARE THE ONES WHO GAVE MONEY TO TED CRUZ'S CAMPAIGN,

the first things that we have to do before start to modeling we have to setting up the unit system

We can do this with go the "customize" then choose the "unit setup"

and you will see the dialog box on the "metric" parameter

there are few units that can be used and this time I will use cm as a standard unit on this modeling

on "system unit scale" we must to matching the unit as per this "metric" parameter

for example if we use use mm on the "metric" parameter so we need to change the "system unit scale" to be mm as well

and press ok

now we will import the drawing into the max

click here and choose "import" and find the drawing

okay I have prepared the drawing in dwg format double click here

maybe I will not explain how to import the drawing into 3ds max in detail because I think it has explained on the previous tutorial video

back to this dialog box on this part I will use "one object" type and then click ok

now the drawing already imported

the next step is we should to move every single elevation to match the sides of this floor plan

we must to separate for each drawing to be a single object

because cad file that have we imported into 3ds max will be read as "Vizblock"

so we have to convert it to be a spline

select the object right click and choose convert to editable spline

now you can see this object has changed to be spline

The purpose of this action is because I need the selection

There are few selection type in editable spline like "vertex" "segment" and "spline" and I will use 3rd selection

and select the object that want to be separated

on the geometry part I will find "detach"

function of detach is to separate the selected object to be single object will appear dialog box like this and press ok

and now the elevation has separated from another object but pivot and the object still in different position

to make it easier for us to move this object we must to move closer the pivot onto the object

you can go to "hierarchy" tab then choose "Affect pivot Only" and on the "Alligment" choose "center to object"

now we move the elevation to side of floorplan and then rotate the elevation 90 degrees

to make it easier we can turn on the "angle snap" and the object will be rotate every 5 degrees

you can see now the object rotate per 5 degrees

the next we should to positioning the elevation as per floorplan we need to create a guide to match it

I will make the garage door frame as the guide to match the elevation to floor plan

and to make it easier for us to positioning the object don't forget to activate the "snap"

we can move it now the elevation already in correct position

For the next we'll rotate up the elevation 90 degrees

we can rotate the screen display with press "Alt" and "scroll" yes like this

and then we need to match the height of the elevation with per floor plan I will use this garage door base as a 0 level

I will match this point onto the floorplan

okay now the elevation already in correct position

Maybe I don't need to show you for other elevations because the workflow is same as my explanation before

hi friends welcome to my channel kitchen to kitchen today I'm gonna share

with you a very unique curry recipe that's made using shallots or small

onions it tastes amazing with a little tangy sweet flavour and it goes very

well with rice roti chapati or naan it's completely different I am very sure that

you'll love it let's look at the ingredients to make this curry here I

have taken some white shallots about 15 to 20 of them and they are very small as

the size of a small lemon also I'm using 1 medium onion finely chopped in these

spices I'm using 2 teaspoons of turmeric 1 TSP of red chili powder 1 teaspoon of

curry powder and 2 teaspoons of curry masala powder some salt to taste for the

tangy flavor in our curry I am using tamarind

and I have soaked about a big lemon sized tamarind and water ginger garlic

and coriander paste

three teaspoons of jaggery or gud/gul one teaspoon of white sesame seeds or fill

two teaspoons of cumin seeds or jeera and three teaspoons of coriander seeds

first we are going to take a small pan and dry roast the cumin seeds coriander

seeds and the white sesame seeds we're going to try roast these on a medium

high flame so keep stirring in between continuously and within few minutes

you'll notice the change in color and also a nice aroma will start to come

from the coriander sesame and cumin seeds now they are pretty much done you

can go ahead and switch off the flame and take them out in a plate in a wide

pan add about 4 to 5 teaspoons of oil and once the oil is hot first we are

going to drop the chopped onions saute them well

the flame is on medium to speed up the process of frying the onions here I've

added some salt just give it a quick toss fry the onions for a minute or so

now they're well-done let's add the ginger garlic and coriander paste mix it

well fry it for about minute or two until the raw flavors from ginger garlic

and coriander go away while it dries we are going to grind the roasted

ingredients to a fine powder here are the clean shallots I have removed the

covers and washed them nicely and also taken off the top and bottom of each of

them add them to the fried onions mix it well with the ginger garlic coriander

paste and now we are going to cover and cook it on a medium low flame for 3 to 5

minutes after 5 minutes let's open and check

notice that the mixture and the shallots have become nice golden brown so to

scrape it from the bottom and now we'll add the ground powder and also add the

spices turmeric red chilli powder garam masala powder and some curry powder also

add some salt

mix it really well for few seconds so just you know making sure all the spices

salt is nicely coated with the shallots now add the tamarind pulp and some

jaggery now we are gonna add a cup of water give it a really good mix all the

spices tamarind jaggery will come together really well

cover and cook it for eight to ten minutes on a medium low flame it's been

cooking for ten minutes let's open and check the curry has thinned down quite a

bit and the shallots have also become nice and soft garnish it with some

coriander leaves and switch off the flame the tangy sweet flavor along with

the small onions is absolutely delicious if you are looking for some unique

different recipe then this one is definitely worth a try

this curry goes really well with hot rice chapati roti or puri if you've
