[INTRO ♪]

There are a lot of ways to mark the passing of a loved one.

But in many modern cultures, once the funeral's over,

all that's left are too many flowers and that well-meant

soggy casserole your neighbor made for you.

Those black mourning dresses Scarlett O'Hara hated so much

have gone out of style, but grief doesn't stop

just because the public ceremony of saying goodbye is over.

Grief can be hard and lonely, and sometimes it can feel like it'll never end.

Psychologists have been trying to figure this out for over a century.

And the only good answers they've got are that

it's a totally normal process, and that it's different for everyone.

Bereavement is the technical term that psychologists use

to talk about the loss of a loved one by death.

Grief is what they call the distress caused by that loss.

And when you think about grief in a psychological sense,

the first thing that probably comes to mind is the Kübler-Ross model.

You might not recognize that name,

but it gets talked about a lot in pop culture.

You might, for instance, know it from

that Robot Chicken video of a giraffe stuck in quicksand.

Basically, the Kübler-Ross model says

we all go through five stages as we process our grief.

We start off by denying that whatever happened is real,

which helps us temporarily deal with it.

Next, we get angry.

And then, we try to bargain our way out of it,

by making a deal with God, or the universe,

or whatever we believe has the power to change what has happened.

When that doesn't work, we experience depression.

And finally, we get to acceptance.

Everything might not be okay, but we've learn to live with it.

Even if you haven't taken a psychology class,

you're probably familiar with this idea.

But you might not know where the model comes from.

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross was a psychiatrist who worked with terminally ill patients.

She helped change attitudes about dying

and encouraged people to actually talk about death.

And rather than just worrying about the salvation of the soul,

she was a strong supporter of hospice care,

which focuses on making the patients' final days comfortable

and keeping them involved in the decisions that affect them.

This is all super important stuff that has affected

how we think about people who are dying.

But she also wrote a book called On Death and Dying.

Published in 1969, it was based on interviews with over 200 dying patients.

Kübler-Ross was influenced by the work of two psychiatrists

who proposed that, after a separation or a loss,

grief was a process that involved four sequential stages.

So in her book, she proposed five stages we all go through

as we come to terms with dying.

Not while grieving for someone else, but while dying ourselves.

The book sold really well, and the five stages took off in the public's imagination.

People started applying the stages to grief even though they weren't meant to describe it.

And so, Kübler-Ross and her coauthor eventually went back

and adapted the same five stages so that they made sense for grieving, too.

But! There wasn't really any scientific basis for that adaptation.

Of course, we didn't always think of grieving as a pattern of psychological responses.

Since death is inevitable, people have been studying grief for a while.

In the 17th century, it was believed that too much grieving could be deadly.

And in the 19th century, Charles Darwin wrote about grief

and noted that monkeys and apes also seemed capable of feeling it.

Freud had something to say about it too.

In 1917, he proposed that the living had to detach their emotional energy

from the dead person and channel it into some other aspect of their lives.

He called this grief work.

And if people didn't do grief work?

He believed they had a much higher risk of developing a psychological illness

because of their supposedly pathological grief.

Yeah, Freud had… a lot of ideas, and they weren't always great.

But, of all these ideas, the Kübler-Ross model is the one that really stuck around.

Some psychologists think that its staying power

comes from the fact that it's such a good narrative.

Our brains like to organize things, and this model offers

a nice, neat progression through five well-defined stages—

and ultimately, has a happy ending.

But even though we might like the way it sounds,

psychologists nowadays have a few big issues with these five stages.

First of all, there's a lack of empirical evidence.

Many researchers argue that the interviews it's based on

weren't conducted with enough scientific rigor.

In the years since the book was published,

some studies have attempted to replicate and verify the findings.

For instance, one study published in 2007 followed 233 people over three years.

And a 2010 study looked at 614 undergraduates and surveyed them once,

all at different points in their grief.

Both studies asked the subjects to assess their grief on a scale

for disbelief, yearning, anger, depression, and acceptance.

And they all had mixed results.

The 2007 study found that acceptance was the most common reaction,

even right after death.

But after averaging all the data over time

the different stages did peak in the order that Kübler-Ross had suggested.

The 2010 study found that their results didn't support Kübler-Ross's stage theory,

but they didn't completely disprove it either.

And how much people were thinking about the loss

seemed to influence what they were experiencing more than the passing of time.

A second criticism is that the stages don't really have an underlying explanation.

There's no hypothesis for why grief would be organized

into sequential stages, what function they serve,

or how people move from one stage to the next.

On top of that, the stages are kind of random, psychologically speaking.

Some of them are emotional states, like anger and depression,

while others are cognitive processes, like acceptance and denial.

And lastly, researchers have noted that the Kübler-Ross model

seems to create problematic expectations for how grief should be dealt with.

The five stages can make people expect

to experience certain things in a certain order.

And if they don't do that, or they don't hit certain stages at all,

people might believe that they aren't coping properly.

That expectation could also lead to unhelpful support

from their social networks or health care professionals.

But psychologists aren't just critiquing the Kübler-Ross model,

they're also trying to figure out new ways to think about grief.

There's a ton of research to sift through, but there are a few prominent ideas.

The dual-process model of grief was proposed in 1999.

Developed from other studies on cognitive stress,

it suggests that the griever switches back and forth

between two patterns of behavior, called orientations.

In the loss orientation, someone spends time

thinking about the person they've lost and what life used to be like.

They might look at old pictures or tell stories,

and they'll express a lot of emotion about the loss.

In the restoration orientation, someone focuses on

the changes that need to be made.

It's more of a problem-solving state of mind.

They might work on establishing a new identity for themselves

or adjusting to do things that the deceased used to do,

like doing the dishes after you cooked.

What's unique about the dual-process model is that it suggests that

a person who's grieving switches back and forth between these two orientations

until eventually, they don't need to think about certain aspects of the loss anymore.

It's a more flexible model, with room for individual and cultural differences.

One of the best known task-based models of grief was proposed in 2008 by a

clinical psychologist with a lot of experience treating people dealing with grief.

While this one also doesn't have a ton of empirical evidence,

unlike stage-based models, it tries to account more for

people going through grief differently.

The model says that grieving is a process of engaging in four tasks—

all in no particular order.

Essentially, they include: accepting the reality of the loss,

processing the pain of the grief, adjusting to the world without the loved one,

and finding a lasting connection with them somehow.

The task-based model also points out seven factors

that can affect the individual experience of each griever,

which may help healthcare professionals understand what someone's going through.

These factors are things like their relationship to the deceased,

how the person died, or other stress that they're under.

Another prominent way of thinking about grief

identifies multiple possible grieving processes,

reinforcing that it can be very different for different people.

This idea started with a 2002 study on 205 people who lost their spouses.

The researchers tracked subjects for several years before the death until 18 months afterward.

And they used this information to identify five common trajectories of grief.

The trajectories include common grief,

in which the subjects experience a lot of depression at six months,

but not before the death or at 18 months.

There's also depressed-improved,

in which the subject experienced depression before the death,

but had largely returned to normal by six months.

In chronic grief and chronic depression trajectories,

the subject experienced many grief symptoms

and high levels of depression at six months and 18 months.

These were both associated with higher dependence on the spouse before death.

But they were distinguishable.

In the case of chronic depression,

the subject experienced depression before the death as well,

and it was associated with marital strife.

The most common trajectory was actually resilience,

in which a person experiences relatively low and stable levels of depression

before and following the loss.

Nearly half the subjects experienced this pattern.

Now, all these ideas suggest that grief can be different

depending on the circumstances and the person—

which makes a lot of sense!

Grief is really complicated.

But there's just so much research out there.

And some psychologists worry that without a tidy, unified narrative,

it will be hard to dislodge the Kübler-Ross model in the general public's mind.

The other thing to know is that there can be complications

that make grief extra hard to deal with.

For example, there's disenfranchised grief,

which is what psychologists call grief that isn't generally acknowledged by society.

Like, when someone you didn't actually know dies

or when you experience a miscarriage.

It's not as socially acceptable to feel and talk about those kinds of grief,

which can make them harder to process.

But even typical grief can become a problem.

The DSM-5, an evolving guide that professionals use to diagnose mental illness,

includes proposed criteria for Persistent Complex Bereavement Disorder.

These criteria are things like: longing for the deceased, intense suffering,

and preoccupation with the death that causes distress and impairment lasting over a year.

So if grief is such a complicated, intense experience... can therapy help?

Unfortunately, a 2008 meta-analysis published in Psychological Bulletin

found that, most of the time, grief therapy didn't seem to

significantly help the average person.

It did somewhat help the people who were having the most trouble coping, though.

Like if they're experiencing some of the complications we just talked about.

But to be clear: we here at SciShow aren't health professionals,

and everyone processes grief differently.

So even though some research says therapy might help

certain people more than others, it's not worth writing off completely.

The good news, though, is that most people can move past their grief.

Or at least, they can move past the most difficult stage of it, known as acute grief.

That's the really sucky part with all of the physiological symptoms…

where you're exhausted, your stomach feels empty, or you have a lump in your throat.

Most people seem to be able to move beyond this in three to six months.

They still miss their loved one, but they can get on with living their lives.

And plenty of researchers see establishing a lasting relationship

with the deceased as part of coping.

The thing is… grief really is a normal process.

It can be really tough on the mind, but you'll get through it okay.

BRAND COLORS - HOW DO COLORS AFFECT PURCHASES - Duration: 11:46.

Why am I holding this stapler?

I bought it, but I bought it because it was pink, not because of the brand or anything

else, just the sole fact that the stapler was pink.

Color alone can affect buying decisions, so just because of the color a product is or

the color that you use on your website and your logo and your designs, with your branding

can all have an effect on whether someone feels some type of emotion and it changes

their mood.

It can affect whether they buy from you.

Does color effect sales?

I'm going to show you some ways that color impacts buying decisions, mood and people's

behavior overall.

How colors influence people's moods, their emotions, their overall behavior, and ultimately

their buying decisions.

Color alone can be the sole reason that someone purchases a product.

Like mentioned with the stapler.

Why did I buy it?

-- Because it was pink.

I didn't really care about anything else to do with the stapler, but color can be the

reason someone stays on your website, whether it makes it easy for them to read or not,

or even watch your video.

So think about your thumbnails, your designs, what you're using.

Color invokes emotion.

When I'm talking about your marketing colors, where are you using these?

I'm referring to your logos, your social media, graphics, any designs that you're creating.

If you're having someone create them or doing it yourself.

It can be the headers for your social media, the call to action buttons that you're using

on your website or your landing pages.

These can all invoke some kind of emotion and make someone either read your website,

purchase your product, or trust your brand overall to stick around.

For example, did you know that white space helps spark creativity.

Black or darker color themes.

If you use those on your website and your website is really information heavy and you

want people to read, those darker themes are going to make it easier on their eyes.

Allow them to focus, and really understand the information that you're sharing with them.

And then think about bright colors, oranges, reds, they invoke excitement and energy.

Those are all things that you should be thinking about when you're choosing the colors that

represent your brand and you're going to be using these same colors everywhere on social

media, on your website, banners, themes, everything that I've mentioned.

You're going to use these everywhere.

Shirts, business cards, these are your brand colors.

These are what represents your brand, and these really never change unless you do some

type of rebranding.

Now, you can still use other colors in your marketing.

I'm going to explain those here in just a second, but just to give you a general idea.

Let's talk about why you even chose the colors that you chose for your brand? How did you

choose your brand colors and why did you choose them?

Did you have some feeling that you wanted people to feel when they landed on you, when

they saw your product or saw you on social media?

When they landed on your website, saw your logo, read your shirt, got your business card?

What is it that you had in mind behind the colors that you were choosing?

Did you even think about color psychology and how it affects their buying behavior or

whether they even want to contact you?

If you had a pink business card and gave it to a guy, maybe he'd want to contact you if

he was interested in dating you, but I don't know if you'd want to contact you about business.

That's just the way that the male psychology may work -- Most of the time before I get

a million comments about that.

But I always say, dissect before you design, before you go picking your logo and your brand

colors and designing your fonts and themes, you really need to put some thought behind:

what is your mission?

What is your brand about?

If you're some type of nature brand, then that might mean you use green or If you're

environmentally friendly that's something to think about.

Green kind of symbolizes nature and healing and healthy and the overall industry as well.

If you think about natural healthy products, a lot of people use green.

If you go to a store and they say we are environmentally friendly, they might have green on their recycling

bins.

Color has to do with an area of interest.

It can do with a mission that your brand supports or some type of association.

There's so many things that go into the colors of marketing.

That's why I say it's really important to think about those when you're putting them

behind your brand.

If you are trying to find out how to pick a color for your brand, Get the hex code or

some type of color finder for the color code, I'm going to show you

how to get that pannetone, hex code, whatever you want to call it.

I'm going to show you how to get that at the end of this video.

What are the pros and cons of using certain colors in your marketing?

Let's think about the color red.

What does the color red do?

It creates a sense of urgency, appetite.

It raises your heart rate and increases your blood pressure.

Think about fast cars, lingerie, if you ever see that, normally they're red.

Fast Food chains might use this.

Like I said, a sense of appetite, maybe Mcdonald's.

If you think about clearance sales, when you go in and there's this sale, they might have

a red sign saying sale.

And you're like, I'm going over there cause you know that's where the discounts are.

The color blue.

Obviously most people know when people have babies:

You have pink for girls in blue for boys,.

Blue is actually the preferred color of most men.

If you have a male database of customers, blue might be the way to go.

It creates a sense of calm and trust.

Tranquility, peace.

It's just a stability.

So if you want people to trust in your brand, blue is a color.

If you look at mine, it's like a bluish green teal.

When I started my brand, I didn't want to lean just towards girls or just towards men.

My brand was kind of in between, so I wanted to keep it neutral.

Opposite of red, blue actually curbs appetite.

If you think about weight watchers, look at the colors of their brand.

Blue would be something to curb appetite.

So if you're wanting to lose weight, blue's going to make you not want to eat, or at least

that's the psychology behind it.

Speaking of wight watchers and their colors, they also used the color green.

Green is used to promote health, nature and environmental issues.

Think about why they would use the color green in their marketing and why would other companies

want to use it?

It stimulates balance and harmony, which is going to lead to decision making.

So if you want your customers to be decisive, that might be something to think about.

Weight watchers, the whole reason behind their brand is that it's your decision.

You can choose what you want to eat, but their plan is going to help you lose weight and

just overall have a healthy mindset, body, look and feel.

So if you look at the colors of their brand, they also use yellow.

That's going to have energy behind it.

If you think about the colors of orange and yellow and how people use them in their marketing.

They can either create a sense of optimism and cheerfulness or they can create a sense

of anxiety.

If you're looking for impulsive buyers and window shoppers, these might be the colors

for you.

But if you're hoping to not make a baby cry, yellow could be a color that might cause that

reaction.

While orange can also mean a sense of caution.

If you think of caution signs or those orange cones that you see out, it warns you of something.

Now it could warn you of a sales, so that's why I say if it's impulsive buyer or a window

shopper.

It's still might be a color to use in your marketing.

Let's look at the color purple.

The color, purple, so beauty companies will often use this in their marketing or if it's

a company that creates some type of royalty.

A lot of times purple can be a sign of respect, dignity, and you'll also see the color purple

in anti aging products because it creates a problem solving effect.

Letting the customer know, hey, we're going to solve something for you.

And if you think about the color of royalty in a beauty item, it kind of all goes together.

You're going to be beautiful.

You're going to be royal and what girls want to feel?

Like a princess, like a queen, so of course, why else wouldn't beauty companies use purple

in their marketing?

Last but not least, it's black and white.

Why would you use the color of black in your marketing?

It creates a sense of authority and power, intelligence.

I mentioned this before, but luxury brands, if you think about a luxury brand, they may

use that color because it's very simple.

Now, in contrast, the color of white sparks creativity.

It means pure and natural, cleanliness.

When you're talking about bleach, what does it do?

It bleaches things really, really white, so it's a clean, pure feeling.

Maybe that'll help me remember it.

Speaking of, remember it, I mentioned that I had a guide for you.

I was going to help you find your colors, your fonts, your themes.

Now you know what these colors mean, why you might want to use them in your branding and

your marketing.

Now you just need to put them all together and I'm going to help you find the colors

Remember, I bought this for a reason.

Did you know?

OK, that's not.

What did you know that white space helps?

Dang It.

Okay, we'll just start over.

{Singing] I don't know why I'm still going on.

Mind Control Through the Airwaves - Duration: 13:44.

Mind Control Through the Airwaves

by Brent Swancer

We like to think that we have free will, and that the decisions we make and the thoughts

we have are our own.

Our sense of identity, free choice, and individuality are part of what makes us unique, and are

an integral part of the human experience.

Yet are we really as independent and possessed of free will as we would like to think?

The thought that we could be under the influence of outside forces and subject to manipulation

by mind-control against our will is a terrifying prospect that has been explored extensively

in science fiction, but what if it is not merely fiction at all?

What if we are being directly shaped and programmed by nefarious parties through the very TV we

watch or the music we listen to?

According to some, this is exactly what is happening, and has been for decades.

A supposed technology that can apparently be used to reach out and subliminally influence

us over the airwaves is called the Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS), sometimes called

simply S-quad or Squad, which was developed and patented (yes, it apparently

has a patent) by a Dr. Oliver Lowery of Norcross, Georgia, who calls it the Silent Subliminal

Presentation System. Often known as The Sound of Silence, it was first developed

in the 1950s and perfected over the decades and it purportedly works by analyzing human

brain patterns and storing this data as emotion signature clusters, which can then be synthesized,

duplicated, and beamed out through various means in order to subliminally influence the

emotional states and thought processes of human beings, essentially disrupting our consciousness.

An abstract on the system patent reads that it is:

A silent communications system in which non-aural carriers, in the very low or very high audio-frequency

range or in the adjacent ultrasonic frequency spectrum are amplitude- or frequency-modulated

with the desired intelligence and propagated acoustically or vibrationally, for inducement

into the brain, typically through the use of loudspeakers, earphones, or piezoelectric

transducers.

The modulated carriers may be transmitted directly in real time or may be conveniently

recorded and stored on mechanical, magnetic, or optical media for delayed or repeated transmission

to the listener.

In simple terms, covert mind control.

The two main ways that the technology is allegedly utilized is either through use of short-range

direct microwave induction or piggybacking on signals transmitted over TV or radio waves

and other carrier frequencies, and it is supposedly completely undetectable.

So far, so creepy, especially considering the potential military applications for such

a technology, and according to Edward Tilton, President of Silent Sounds, Inc., governments

have already been using his companys tech in a range of top-secret capacities.

He ominously states:

All schematics, however, have been classified by the US Government and we are not allowed

to reveal the exact details.

We make tapes and CDs for the German Government, even the former Soviet Union countries!

All with the permission of the US State Department, of course.

The system was used throughout Operation Desert Storm (Iraq) quite successfully.

Wait, what?

Was this mind control technology actually used in the gulf War?

According to conspiracy theorists it was actually used to great effect during the war, where

these waves were spewed forth onto the unsuspecting enemy through standard radio frequency broadcasts

in order to subliminally influence them into panicking and surrendering.

One piece of evidence used for this were some news reports from wire service bulletins from

Londons ITV News Bureau Ltd (London) in March of 1991.

One March 23, 1991 news-brief called High-Tech Psychological Warfare Arrives in the Middle

East apparently stated that during Operation Desert Storm the U.S. military deployed an

unbelievable and highly classified PsyOps program utilizing silent sound techniques.

Supposedly these signals were broadcast over FM radio stations on the 100 MHz frequency,

and had the effect of compelling Iraqi forces to surrender by implanting negative emotional

states-feelings of fear, anxiety, despair and hopelessness.

The use of sophisticated mind-influencing technology during the Gulf War is supposedly

why so many Iraqi forces were so quickly convinced to surrender, even in situations where they

had the military upper hand.

In some cases, whole brigades surrendered without a fight, as one soldier puts it, They

were surrendering in droves, almost too fast for us to keep up with. These were battle

hardened troops seasoned through a perilous war with Iran from 1980-1988 and promising

the Americans The Mother of All Battles, yet here they were giving up by the tens of

thousands, often without firing a single shot.

Some surrenders were bizarre, such as a troop of 450 Iraqi troops that were talked into

giving up by a mere 100 U.S. soldiers, and an Iraqi soldier who gave himself up to an

unarmed remote controlled drone, of which the witness would say:

One of them gave up to an RPV [remotely piloted vehicle].

Heres this guy with his hands up, turning in a circle to give himself up to a model

airplane with a camera in it.

Why is this?

According to the conspiracies, it is clear evidence that the U.S. military was using

the Silent Sound technology, reducing these combat veterans to compliant, docile prisoners.

Making it all more sinister is that while the British press made mention of subliminal

PsyOps operations, this information was censored and suppressed in reports in the U.S. media,

making it all seem more suspicious and sinister.

Of course government officials flat-out deny that any of this ever happened and are adamant

that such a system does not officially even exist, and one Charles Bernard, a former Navy

weapons-research director, has said of this:

I have yet to see one of these ray-gun things that actually works.

And DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) has come to us every few years to

see if there are ways to incapacitate the central nervous system remotely, but nothing

has ever come of it.

That is too science-fiction and far-fetched.

But that is what they would want you to think, isnt it?

Is any of this real or is it all tin-foil hat wearing conspiracist nonsense?

Is it really just a bunch of science fiction mumbo jumbo?

Whether it is actually happening in any capacity or not, the concept is at least believed by

some to be not entirely far-fetched.

One Dr. Michael Persinger, a professor of psychology and neuroscience at Laurentian

University, Ontario, Canada, has said of this thus:

Contemporary neuroscience suggests the existence of fundamental algorithms by which all sensory

transduction is translated into an intrinsic, brain-specific code.

Direct stimulation of these codes within the human temporal or limbic cortices by applied

electromagnetic patterns may require energy levels which are within the range of both

geomagnetic activity and contemporary communication networks.

A process which is coupled to the narrow band of brain temperature could allow all normal

human brains to be affected by a sub-harmonic whose frequency range at about 10 Hz would

only vary by 0.1 Hz.

Within the last two decades a potential has emerged which was improbable, but which is

now feasible.

This potential is the technical capability to influence directly the major portion of

the approximately 6.5 billion brains of the human species, without mediation through classical

sensory modalities, by generating neural information within a physical medium within which all

members of the species are immersed.

More than just military applications, such technology could be, and perhaps already is,

used in a wide variety of ways to exert influence on our attitudes, moods, thoughts, desires,

and actions.

Such signals over TV and radio could be used to influence your choices of, say, a presidential

candidate, shape your world opinion, or simply push you to choose one product over another.

Stores could blare out these inaudible signals to manipulate your shopping experience or

deter people from shoplifting.

The signals could be on a constant loop over the airwaves simply for the purpose of keeping

us compliant and tame.

The possibilities are virtually limitless and not a little creepy.

After all, if this is all real, then how many of the choices you have made today would truly

be of your own free will?

Throwing further fuel onto the conspiracy fire is the 2009 U.S. Congress mandate for

digital conversion for all TVs.

According to the theories flying around, this is not simply out of the governments benevolent

desire for you to have better picture quality on your TV, but rather to provide a better

and more efficient platform for utilizing the Silent Sound technology on the masses.

It does seem like a lot of taxpayer money to spend just so that everyone can have HDTV,

so is there something more sinister at work?

One 2002 patent application called Nervous System Manipulation by EM Fields from Monitors

says:

Many computer monitors and HD TV screens, when displaying pulsed images, emit pulsed

electromagnetic fields of sufficient amplitudes to cause such excitation.

It is therefore possible to manipulate the nervous system of a subject by pulsing images

displayed on a nearby computer monitor or digital TV set.

In other words, digital HDTV is great for some mind control.

The implications of such widespread mind-control would certainly be severe, and the effects

could potentially go far beyond merely implanting suggestions into the mind or changing emotional

states.

Speculation has touched on the capacity for such technology to actually implant thoughts

or memories or conversely erase them, cause people to sleep, and even control their movements

and bodily functions, essentially making us programmable machines.

One 1996 paper from the USAF Scientific Advisory Board, entitled New World Vistas Air and Space

Power for the 21st Century gives the chilling vision of such a future thus:

One can envision the development of electromagnetic energy sources, the output of which can be

pulsed, shaped, and focused, that can couple with the human body in a fashion that will

allow one to prevent voluntary muscular movements, control emotions (and thus actions), produce

sleep, transmit suggestions, interfere with both short-term and long-term memory, produce

an experience set, and delete an experience set.

It is certainly a scary and sobering thought to imagine that any of this could be possible

or real, that our thoughts and decisions are not necessarily our own and that we are at

the whim of waves and signals penetrating our brain to violate our consciousness.

What would such a world be like?

Are we already living in it?

There is absolutely no evidence that the Silent Sound technology is being used to any extent,

but the theories and speculation about it are creepy and sinister enough to make one

wonder if there is something more going on when sitting down to

watch TV.

Saying NO to Reincarnation and Regaining Your Freedom! - Duration: 14:40.

Saying NO to Reincarnation and Regaining Your Freedom!

How is forgetting helpful to ones growth?

How does something horrible happening to you due to misdeeds from a past life teach you

anything when you have no memory of what you did?

How can you balance the scales when you have no idea whats on the other side?

But yet you keep reincarnating over and over again and accumulate more and more lessons

to learn from these past lives.

So now you have all of these lessons you need to learn, but you get to have ZERO memory

of failing any tests to begin with.

It makes no sense at all.

Yes, our lives are blinks in the big scope of Everything and our life purpose IS

experience as All is just the Prime Creator experiencing itself in Infinite Many-ness,

so having 100 reincarnated lives in a row is nothing in the big scope of existence;

even the so-called forgetting could be chalked up as just another way of Source experiencing

itself; HOWEVER there is no way of getting around the fact that FORGETTING HINDERS PROGRESS.

Forgetting hinders the ability to turn knowledge into wisdom!

Now if you have an open mind and want to take a look at this rabbit hole, here is a theory

as to why reincarnation happens.

It is no secret to those who have looked beyond what they have been told and realized there

appears to be a Control Game on Earth.

The Elite, the Anunnaki, Illuminati, Archons, Cabal, Draco Reptilians, as well that written

in ancient/ sacred texts whatever you look at or however you look at it, it all points

to certain groups of beings that strive for ultimate power, wealth, control, and nowadays

it would appear that those in control keep us dumbed down by psychic attacks,

feeding us false information, poisoning our water, food, & medicines maintaining

manipulation with mainstream media, and teaching us lessons of inaccurate history

while keeping the majority of the people just able-bodied enough to work their lives away

to make those already on top even more rich and more powerful while others are used as

pawns to get certain points across.

It appears the aim is for people to remain asleep enough to not look within or any further

than what their government, school, and media are telling them to believe.

We always have someone to listen to.

Someone to follow.

Something to do to distract us.

It is part of the agenda to think we need their help, purposely creating countless

situations for us to think there is someone to fight, something else that needs

to be worked on, something else is wrong.

This gets the majority of people to essentially agree to the problems and through which

by agreeing to the problems, we basically agree to sell ourselves to serve THEIR

greatest interests, to fight their battles, and never serve our own individual highest

goods, but rather the illusion of it.

As long as the world is a scary place and people think that we need Big Brothers

help and his protecting, people will continue to work for an agenda and a false-belief

system, and not for themselves.

And that's why so many people never find themselves or start really remembering who

they are at the core of their being; theyve lost themselves by serving and helping everyone

but themselves believing it is what they must do.

People buy into this duality of good versus evil, they buy into the illusion and utterly

forget that they are Sovereign.

We are above and greater than everything weve been conditioned to believe on this planet!

We are Spiritual beings.

We are creators.

We are directly connected to Source.

Through Source we know that ALL is ONE and it is through this knowing that we open our

awareness to our innately Infinite potentials of energy.

The energy of our essence of our souls, is pure and we create it by just being and those

behind the curtain need such energy to sustain themselves since they have so far

removed themselves from Source.

They create situations to take ours away in ways both seen and unseen since they cannot

create their own energy like we do.

They take our power away to make themselves more powerful the more you look into it,

as crazy as it sounds, one cannot help but see puzzle pieces fall into place.

These days, it appears as more people awaken, the more we will see destruction, disaster,

and false panic in such ways to create the additional energies needed to feed on

and take power from, and in attempts to make us go on thinking that we need their help

and saving.

Thing is, we dont need anyone to save us.

We save ourselves.

These tragedies that may come to happen, wont continue forever.

Consciousness is changing.

It has to, as the only thing constant is change.

It is through this saving of ourselves, through this awakening and expanding of consciousness,

that we help to save others as well.

In actuality, us saving others is just showing them they can save themselves.

The more that scale tips in favor of self-realization, the more these old systems will collapse and

die off and the veils put in place will fall further away.

Once people on a large scale realize who and what they really are in this very convincing

illusion, they cannot go back to sleep, and this is happening more and more than ever

before!

So what happens when 5D consciousness inhabits a 3D/4D material Earth and just enough of

her inhabitants, well this is the Shift or the New Earth weve been hearing

about.

This is how we win.

Okay back to reincarnation think about this

Most people with near death experiences talk about seeing a white light.

A tunnel.

Spirit Guides.

Angels.

Loved Ones.

It all feels so familiar many say they are shown a movie of sorts of their lives

where they experience things from other perspectives and are overcome with such guilt and really

do want to have another chance at another life to make it right.

Hence we AGREE to reincarnate and therefore AGREE to this effed up Earth reality, that

is how they get away with not violating free-will, they use their tricks of the light to convince

us of having these feelings of remorse and get us to agree to their rules in order

for us to go back and make things right.

We go back again and often in groups (this is where soul families come from and why it

is so important for soul families to awaken and work together, to create collectives and

expand them as morphogenetic fields of thought containing similar vibration/ frequency which

allows more people and soul families to tap into it, allowing our fields

to connect and fill and surround the planet).

Once were back on Earth we can change roles from mom to daughter, sister to grandpa, school

teacher to neighbor, and so on and experience the other perspective so we can balance

our karma.

So not only do we agree to come back after being deceived with lights and loved ones

we often come back at lower advantages and extra struggles to pay some karma back, but

that in all reality it just creates further separation and more hard-times

since you dont remember why youre here or what the hell youre supposed to do!

The weaker and more confused you are (ESPECIALLY mentally and spiritually) the easier you are

to control, so yay, those in control now have more low vibrations and negative

energies to feed on to keep them going and further push their agenda.

They can remain in control of all their energy-source slave batteries who work for them and

they are getting us to AGREE to it!

We may not see the bars and seemingly have space to roam, but they know that if we could

SEE the bars we would be far less productive, so it is set up in a way that we think were

free, we think we are making the choices, but more often than not people in general

arent working in their own personal AND spiritual best interests, they have quite

simply been tricked into thinking they are just another mindless cog in the wheel, or

turn that forgetfulness into greed, or do their best to commit no sin but yet

all are made to forget who they truly are, often having series of unfortunate events

happening to serve to keep them feeling lost or defeated or in need of one more dollar

or acquisition or in need of some kind of help or are always waiting for something,

all the while at the same time are being sprinkled with just enough victories to keep them

going and working.

But working for and toward what?

Perhaps we should ask ourselves Who am I working for and what am I working toward?

Along with, Who is really benefiting from my work?

Most people are beat down and tired long before any finish line appears and come back

to do the same thing over and over without any end in sight, except for those handful

of Ascended Masters it just seems pretty strange and indicates something must

be suffocating something that more of us are not waking up to this level of awareness

that is already innately ours to begin with!

What could possibly do that?!

Mass Manipulation over many generations.

It is very easy to see how the cycle of reincarnation can easily happen under such

conditions and why it is time for Mass Awakening.

The end of reincarnation can end either Individually or Collectively and this liberation comes

from simply remembering who and what we are.

I dont ask anyone to just blindly believe this, if it resonates, it resonates.

The proof is to simply take this information with you at the time of your physical death.

CHOOSE to not go to the light which seems to be nothing more than deception, a

trick of the light as a reflection of the trick of consciousness in this world

and knowing you as the powerful spark of divine source you are, make the choice

to reunite with YOUR Highest Self/ Oversoul and CHOOSE where you wish to go.

We are each a part of the infinite many-ness of Prime Source here at this time to

experience this spark of divinity within human bodies.

Within that space, we also have free-will and the power of manifestation and creation.

That is a beautiful thing!

Therefore because I know who I AM, I know I would NEVER choose to reincarnate on a dualistic

planet with absolute AMNESIA to balance shit I dont remember anything about.

I would NEVER choose to do multiple rounds on a planet where people are being intentionally

poisoned, killed, starved, raped, tortured, manipulated, animals and wildlife abused,

to be born as a number sequence, to go to schools where you are forced to accept someone

elses truth and graded on it as a basis of your future worth, and from there

go to work for paper money for nearly the rest my life to pay for stuff I dont even

need to make someone else rich and have more influence over what I say, wear, do, eat,

drink, etc, to finally grow old riddled with disease and sickness on more pills that I

can count that only serve to mask my symptoms instead of curing my illness

This is total madness!

Perhaps that in fact IS the whole point of it all here But it is not MY point, it

isnt ME, and I have a feeling it isnt most of us either!

And perhaps thats EXACTLY why we are here!

To wake up and say NO this isnt okay and show others how to as well simply through

our example and by sharing (but not forcing) our truth!

Of course stuff can be enjoyed while we are here, but it may be crucial to remember

its all ultimately worthless as none it can be taken with us (the story of detachment:

enjoy it, but know you dont need it!)

But sadly, too many people are distracted by a whole plethora of shiny things

and this is what ultimately keeps those in control going and their traps still working.

What we can do is gain knowledge and turn it into wisdom, partner that wisdom with spirituality

and take our power back; wake up from the illusion and make our own choices.

The game board may still be on the table but we dont have to play it.

However we should learn the rules of the Earth Game aspect of this current reality so

that such rules can be properly broken.

Lets share THAT with others too, in addition to all the Love & Light!

To sum it up, its like this:

If everyone is doing it it makes me take less interest in it because I find it

to be less original and genuine.

If everyone walked that path, it makes me less likely to want to take it as my own.

If everyone believes this certain thing to be true then I am most likely to want

to investigate WHY.

So if everyone over the years seems to be told to go to the light, then I am going

to be more inclined to want to turn around and see what ALL my options are and I hope

you do too.

Thank you

The Perfect Motivation For All YouTubers - Duration: 5:30.

You spend hours and hours recording, editing, and making your videos.

Then when you upload those videos on YouTube, you get no recognition, no response, no love

for your videos.

A lot of successful YouTubers have felt like this until they get that one video.

The video that tips the scale for them.

And then part of the reason they suddenly get subscribers after they finally get that

lucky break is because people look and realize there is more hidden gems in the form of past

content in your channel!

That's what will hook them in as subscribers.

CauseI wasn't supposed to come back after this last time I quite YouTube, but I came

back and I fought through everything, and now I have 10 million people to say that you

to.

Current day you won't be seeing the benefit.

But the future-you will probably thank past-you for making all these videos.

But now how do you make that many videos, one video a day, one video per 3 days, one

video per week.

How long can you last?

I understand it is very difficult to produce videos, the competition is a lot, and for

almost every channel, the distraction is a lot.

For example, gaming channels might find it hard to make videos because they get too distracted

by playing games.

So, what you want to keep in mind is that you must be making this for yourself, you

should enjoy making the content for yourself, and you should like watching your own stuff.

Realize why you started making these things - was it something you wanted to do so you

can be proud of it?

Good, then that should be the main reason why you're making stuff, not for the attention.

If you won't keep making videos if no one ever watches them you should stop now.

Many think that YouTube is luck.

It's definitely not luck.

Forget luck, it affects everyone the same because no one can control luck.

That's why I hate the stupid notion going around today that success is due to luck,

that's nonsense.

Successful people know how to execute when they have an opportunity, unsuccessful people

can have the same or more opportunities and blow it every time.

The truth is YouTube is terrible for a career at the moment, so definitely don't do it for

the money, but it's also terrible for promotion when you've got nothing going for you in terms

of an audience.

YouTube's search algorithms favor channels with more views, so if you are making the

same content as someone else no one will see yours unless they happen to exhaust the list

of all the other videos.

Frankly, it's pretty unlikely.

So I'd say you've got to look at what you're making.

What do you bring to the table that's new?

Is there an aspect of what you want to make that similar channels haven't covered?

If you are making the same thing as someone else are you making it better?

To be brutal, if you don't have an answer to all of those questions you need to find

them.

If you aren't bringing anything new, find something new to bring.

If you're covering topics from the same angle, find your own angle.

If your work isn't as good as theirs, practice until it is, and then until it's better.

You guys wanna do anything.

Set a goal in your mind and chase that f****** goal.

No matter who tells you can't do it, no matter who makes fun of you, no matter who tries

to stop you from accomplishing that goal.

Like I am sure you guys right now your dreams can't come true.

I know that you guys probably don't know this but I have been doing Youtube for a lot more

than [wolvie raps??].

I used to have like four other channels before [wolvie?].

I have legit been doing YouTube for so damn long.

I made a channel, I gave up.

I made another channel, and then I gave up.

I made another channel it wasn't doing well, so I gave up again.

But with this channel, I told myself, "Whatever you do, stick to it, keep pushing, keep uploading."

and now all of a sudden I have a million subscribers.

Like WHAT!!

Holy s***.

YouTube is a marathon not a sprint.

It will take months and years of hard work and dedication to become a successful YouTuber.

If you want views, they will come, but only if you always seek to improve, only if you

keep at it and only if you work hard.

Put it this way, if you're hoping to catch lightning you can't just hope it'll happen,

but you can go run up a hill in a storm with an umbrella.

Luck is beyond your control, but the more often you give yourself the opportunity to

become a YouTuber, the more likely it is to happen.

I won't wish you luck, but hopefully, you can find a way to enjoy running up that hill

with that umbrella!

TRYING COTTON CANDY FLAVOURED GRAPES [subtitles] - Duration: 2:36.

Hey awesome people Elly Awesome here back with a taste test and it's a weird one today

because I'm trying cotton candy grapes.

Do you guys know what this means?

Do you guys know what this is?

I didn't think it was in Australia yet!

But they just came out and you know what they smell like cotton candy.

So basically these grapes are genetically modified to taste like cotton candy or fairy

floss.

I dono, can you believe it? *mumbling giggle* I've heard so many things about it.

I never thought I'd get to taste them but today's the day.

These look like your average grapes, they don't look like anything fancy, I don't understand.

There's a weird hint of cotton candy in the air around them...uh what?

Ok it's not that strong for me, at least.

I've had other people try it and they said, 'woah! cotton candy!' and they were flipping

out but for me I can smell it.

The grape taste different but it's not intense as I thought.

Overall it does have a whole new flavour.

It's not so different that you're shook up but it's really pleasant.

Ok let's try that again.

Honestly, if anything this is just as good as candy.

If you can't convince your kids to eat fruit maybe grab these.

But I wanna know how they made these cotton candy grapes coz it doesn't seem right.

Guys I wanna know have you tried cotton candy grapes and what did you think of them?

Let me know in the comments below, did they blow your mind or did you just think they

were really disappointing?

And guys bemuse part of the awesome crew hit the bell, turn on notifcations for my videos,

subscribe, thumbs up - you know what's good and hopefully I will see you guys in the next

one.....BYE}

10 FASTEST Busta Rhymes Verses - Duration: 12:38.

It's finally here.

This video has been requested ever since the first time I uploaded a Fastest Verses video,

and after scouring the internet for any fast Busta verses that I might have missed out

on I think I'm finally confident enough to make this list on the speed rapping legend

that is Busta Rhymes.

As always, every verse is counted in syllables per second over a time period of 10 seconds,

because anyone can rap fast for 1 or 2 seconds and consistency does matter to me.

So with that being said guys, it's time to talk about the 10 FASTEST Busta Rhymes

Verses Ever Made.

Honourable Mentions:

12 - Bottoms Up (Remix) [Verse 1] - 9 SPS

And we kick off our list with a quick honourable mention for one of Busta's great guest verses.

As you can tell this wasn't fast enough to make the top 10, but I definitely thought

I should acknowledge it.

11 - Welcome to My Hood (Remix) [Verse 3] - 9 SPS

And we already have another remix here that was the same speed as the last one, and again

I feel like it had to be acknowledged, so here it is.

Top 10:

10 - Iz They Wildin Wit Us And Getting Rowdy Wit Us (Verse 2) - 9.3 SPS

From what I've heard, Extinction Level Event was really the album where Busta Rhymes started

to showcase his speed rapping on quite a few tracks.

This is a great example of this, and I was thinking it would be at least 9.7 SPS, but

it was just a bit less.

Still one of my favourite verses from him and the combination of Busta and Mystikal

is wonderful.

9 - All I Do Is Win (Remix) [Verse 3] - 9.4 SPS

Another remix here on our list, and this one qualifies as a remix that I think is better

than the original version, a topic which I made a whole video on, a video which included

this song.

It's just pretty great minus Khaled's verse and Busta Rhymes comes with a mind blowing

verse.

A weird thing that I've noticed though is that a lot of his fast verses start in the

same way; either with him saying every time or everybody.

Just thought I'd point that out.

8 - Bottles And Rocking J's (Verse 1) - 9.5 SPS

I think what makes this verse so fun is how casual Busta sounds on it.

He makes it sound like rapping fast is no challenge to him whatsoever, and honestly

at this point it probably isn't.

I also love how Busta adlibs his verse by sounding like he's amazed at the speed rapping

he just did, he does that on a few songs and it's pretty funny to hear.

7 - Jumanji (Verse 3) - 9.7 SPS

The combination of Busta Rhymes and my dad Joyner Lucas was an interesting combo, and

it's clear that Busta really wanted to work with Joyner after how he reacted to Joyner's

song, Ross Cappichioni.

So naturally they would work together on a speed rapping song.

It's over a pretty minimalistic but uptempo beat that gives both rappers a great opportunity

to show their talents, and that they do.

6 - Worldwide Choppers (Verse 7) - 9.7 SPS

This one was just obvious.

For every rapper on this song that I've done a fastest verses video on, those being

Twista, Twisted Insane, Tech N9ne himself and now Busta Rhymes, they have had their

verse from this song in their top 10 fastest.

This is the apex of chopper songs.

It makes sense that on a song with around 8 other incredibly speedy rappers, you'd

wanna push yourself to have the fastest one, and Busta puts in a brilliant effort here.

5 - Look At Me Now (Verse 3) - 9.9 SPS

I

have no doubt that everyone watching this expected this to be on here, it's the fast

verse from Busta Rhymes that pretty much everyone knows about.

I think almost everyone that has listened to it wants to learn the verse so they can

rap along, and it really was one of the landmark speed rapping songs.

Chris Brown also raps on here, and that's kinda fast as well which was cool and Lil

Wayne has a good verse that is faster than normal, we'll say.

But Busta's speed rapping really was the highlight, he sounds so fluid.

Brilliant song overall.

4 - HAM Freestyle (Verse 1) - 10 SPS

This song is just over 1 minute long, but that 1 minute is filled with a ridiculous

amount of words.

This of course is a remix of the song HAM by Jason Zed and Kane East, which means Busta

is gonna go in.

I think he's brought some of his strongest verses on remix tracks, and it makes sense

because if you're rapping over a beat that someone has already rapped over, you wanna

prove your worth on that beat.

Needless to say, Busta was definitely worthy of this beat.

3 - Can You Keep Up?

(Verse 2) - 10 SPS

When Twista and Busta Rhymes are on a track, it's bound to be a contest of who can chop

the fastest.

Unless we're talking about the song Billionaire, but I'd rather just forget that song in

all honesty.

What we get here is just that, a battle of who can rap the fastest, and by the speeds

I've calculated, Busta was 0.8 SPS faster on this track than Twista.

Either way they both put their all into this track, and it's just a whirlwind from start

to finish.

The real highlight for me is at the end of the song where Busta and Twista trade bars

using the same flow as the other did, I'd really want to hear more of these two together.

Unless it's the song Billionaire.

2 - Why Stop Now?

(Verse 1) - 10 SPS

This one fell short of the number 1 spot by such a slight margin, but still came in at

a very impressive speed.

It seems that for some reason, whenever Busta collaborates with Chris Brown he brings out

some quick flows, and that's what he does here.

I will admit, the beat very slightly annoys me with that buzzing synth that plays throughout

it, but I focus a lot more on Busta's words and flow here than the instrumental.

He also finishes the verse by being very aware that people will want to try and cover this

verse.

He says that he wants to see people try and rap this fast part on YouTube, and I'm sure

more people responded to that than he expected.

In fact so many people wanted to rap along with the verse that Busta Rhymes set up a

competition based around rapping this verse.

1 - 60 Second Assassins (Verse 1) - 10.1 SPS

Just beating the previous song on here by 0.1 syllables per second, we have this incredible

verse.

This is a song that I absolutely love, it's just fast rapping with nice lyricism from

the second the song starts to the second it ends.

The track features Twista, Layzie Bone and Jaz-O, who was Jay-Z's mentor, and Busta

set the bar high by having the opening verse.

I think breakneck is probably a pretty nice and fitting adjective to use to describe the

pace on this verse by Busta.

Not to mention if you're looking for another song which contains verses from Busta and

Twista, this is a great one to go to.

So here we have it, 60 Second Assassins is the fastest verse that Busta Rhymes has laid

down

with 10.1 SPS.

24 Reasons Indiana Jones 4 & Transformers 2 Are The Same Movie - Duration: 2:51.

I know George Lucas and Michael Bay get hate mail on a daily basis because of the borderline

racist inaccurate depictions of certain characters the Michael Vick references and the homophobic

humor nobody laughs at (Community Chang audio "Ha Gayyy").

To me, it's just a movie and I don't really care, but if you're gonna send hate mail

to the director, you probably gotta google maps Steven Spielberg's address too b/c

he had an equal say so or whatever, but whatever, the action begins when the bad guys break

into a secret government base and use these metal magnet balls to locate some alien tech.

This film also features Shia LaBeouf back when he used to be famous and stuff.

His character discovers this ancient dead language that no one understands and everybody,

including the one professor at the university with the groupies in his class thinks the

character Shia LaBeouf plays is crazier than the character Shia LaBeouf plays in real life.

To their credit, I almost thought he was living' la vida loco too, but when the bad guys chase

him all over campus, mess the hell outta the library and almost kills the boy b/c of what

he knows, I was like, naw bruh, them symbols gotta be more important than everyone thinks.

Much later in the movie, the bad guys tie up the main character and tell him they want

what's in his head or else.

Good guy's like or else what?

And even though it's a rhetorical question, the bad guys answers anyway and threatens

to kill Shia LaBeouf's parents if he doesn't cooperate.

There's a part when the good guys look through some old photographs of archaeologists and

grey and white pics of past events to get a better understand of what the symbols mean,

but more importantly, what the bad guys want with them.

They GPS directions to the ancient what you ma call it.

And the race is on to see who will get there first between the good guys and the bad guys.

One of them finds out the codes aren't code codes, but silly rabbit, they're actually

map codes and pin point the direction of where they alien device is hidden.

They're led to an ancient landmark and find a secret passage.

Inside the secret passage, (y'all wanna see a dead body).

They find some corpses, but also, they find the alien macguffin the bad guys are searching

for.

Naturally, the good guys try to hide the macguffin, but sadly, the bad guys use a tracking device

to find where they're hiding.

During the final action scenes of the movie, out of nowhere comes a monster vehicle that

destroys everything in it's path.

The aliens get their hands on the artifact and a second or two later everything gets

sucked up in a nonsexual way by this machine that sucks up everything.

It looks like they're in the middle of disaster movie so you know it's bad.

The pyramid is getting destroyed little by little.

When the damage gets worse we find out there's ancient alien technology underneath the pyramid.

And just when you think it's about to get real, it does.

At the end the bad guys lose and fail on such a epic level that it requires a third party

face palm (Optimus Prime audio "Give Me Your Face!").

What Happened To Grandpa's 1972 Ford F100? - Duration: 1:50.

I'm Justin Hal, I'm at Holley LS Fest, it's a 72 model, this was my grandpa's he bought

in 1972.

It's a stock bottom end LQ4, comp cam, it's got untouched 243 heads, Holley high ram,

big cam, 4L80 transmission with a big converter.

It likes RPMs a lot.

On the motor, I shift it at 7000, the fastest it's been is 11.50 in the quarter.

I had the truck here last year, I didn't race much, just kind of rode around and talked

to people and stuff.

Yeah, a lot of people ask about it.

There are definitely a lot of die-hard Ford fans.

Yeah, some of those don't like it so much.

Have a lot of fun here, have a lot of fun with the truck, and enjoy it every time and

look forward to coming back next year.

Ford Focus Trim Levels: What's The Difference? - Duration: 6:59.

The Ford Focus is a reliable, economical, yet sporty option if you are looking for a

small sedan or hatch back.

However, there are many different trim levels to choose from and each brings something different

to the table.

To help you decide which is right for you, we're going to give you a closer look at the

Ford Focus and its seven trim levels.

Let's get started!

The S is the Focus base trim level and is only available as a sedan.

It comes with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, which produces 160 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque.

It comes with a base 5-speed manual transmission.

The Focus S also has a 4-speaker sound system, SYNC with voice recognition and a 4.2-inch

LCD display.

AM/FM radio, CD player, and USB/auxiliary inputs are standard.

For comfort the S has Cloth Seats with a 6-way manual adjust.

This is bare bones car but the upside is that it is cheap to buy, maintain and run.

The Ford Focus SE comes as either a sedan or hatchback.

The SE's base engine is the 1.0L EcoBoost 3-cylinder that produces 123 horsepower and

125 lb-ft of torque.

This is mated to a base 6-speed manual transmission with an automatic being optional.

While the power output has been reduced from the S trim, this engine actually increases

the vehicle's fuel efficiency to 30 MPG City and 40 highway.

The Ford Focus SE includes Cloth seats with heat being optional.

For entertainment, the SE features a 6-speaker sound system with SYNC, AM/FM radio, and a

CD/MP3 player.

Also included is a 6-month trial of SiriusXM and two smart Charging USB Ports for your

devices.

The SE is a step above the S with more available features and also gets better gas mileage.

The Ford Focus SEL trim also comes in both sedan and hatchback configurations.

This trim also includes the same 2.0L 4-cylinder engine from the S trim.

However, the SEL comes standard with a 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and does

not have a manual option.

The Focus SEL also features Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, SYNC 3 with an 8-inch

LCD touchscreen, A Sony 10-speaker Audio System, the 6 month SiriusXM trial and HD Radio.

Optional are a Voice-Activated Navigation System and SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link.

The SEL is a mid-level trim with enough features to keep you happy but is still a good price

point.

The Titanium serves as the Luxury version

of the Focus and comes in both sedan and hatchback.

The 2.0L 4-cylinder engine is also standard in this trim providing plenty of power.

While the exterior is similar aside from different wheels, most of the upgrades with this trim

are within the vehicle's cabin.

The Titanium adds on Leather front bucket seats that are heated and have an 8-way power-adjustable

seat with power lumbar support, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and leather-wrapped

shift knob.

Optional safety features in this trim include the lane-Keeping System and Blind Spot Information

System with Cross-Traffic Alert.

The titanium is for those who want all the bells and whistles but still like a conservative,

eco conscious ride.

The Ford Focus ST is only offered in hatchback form but It comes outfitted with the 2.0L

EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine that's paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

This high-performance engine delivers a whopping 252 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque!

Notable differences with this trim are aggressive styling cues with 18-inch Rado Gray Premium-Painted

Aluminum Wheels, Automatic Quad-beam halogen lights, and a unique ST grille.

The ST also features, optional RECARO Partial-leather front bucket seats with the ST logo, SYNC

with the six speaker audio system, AM/FM radio, and a CD player and smart Charging USB Ports

come standard.

The Focus ST is from a long line of hot hatch lineage and features top notch front wheel

drive performance that would be welcome to any driving enthusiast.

The Ford Focus Electric is for the environmentally

conscious driver, given its all electric powertrain that produces an equivalent of 143 horsepower

and 184 lb-ft of torque.

It can even achieve an EPA estimated 118/96 MPGe city/highway.

The mechanical set up also includes a 1-speed automatic transmission and a 35 kWh liquid-cooled,

lithium-ion battery.

The Ford Focus Electric also includes standard features like 6-way manual adjustable driver

seat with eco-conscious cloth, or optional leather-trimmed 8-way power-adjustable seats.

A 9-speaker Sony Audio System with the SYNC 3 system, HD Radio, Six months' trial of

SiriusXM, Voice-Activated Navigation System with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link.

The Focus electric is a great option for those urban dwellers with short commutes and ready

access to charging points and those who prefer a low carbon footprint.

The top dog trim level offered in the Focus is the RS hatchback.

The RS features a 6-speed manual transmission that's paired with the high performance 2.3L

EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine that can deliver 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque through

an all-wheel drive platform.

The RS also features unique selectable driving modes including normal, sport, track and drift.

The RS boasts aggressive exterior designs, including a RS grille, RS fog lamps, and a

high-mounted RS rear spoiler.

For the interior, the RS trim features RECARO Full Leather seats with an embroidered RS

logo.

A 10-speaker Sony audio system with SYNC 3 comes standard and includes a SiriusXM trial,

HD Radio, and Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start.

The RS is a collectable limited production, high performance machine with rally inspired

DNA pumping through is veins.

This is hot hatch Ford Performance at its absolute best!
