Hello.

So, today, we're going to talk about misconceptions about disability

and this is actually a disability misconceptions tag

that was created by another YouTuber and I was tagged to do the tag.

I can't remember the name of the person who tagged me and I apologise.

I will put her name right up here.

But she is another YouTuber and she is blind

and I believe she does content about, like, fashion and make-up.

Think kind of similar to Molly Burke.

So, let's do the tag.

What is your disability and how does it impact you?

So, for those of you who know very little about who I am,

I am deaf and I deal with chronic pain.

There are people who consider mental illness a disability,

so we'll throw that in as well.

So, I'm deaf, I deal with chronic pain

and I am mentally ill with depression and the like.

The way that it impacts me is, well,

being deaf, it affects me the most because communication happens a lot.

You know, I'm going out somewhere and it affects me

because people will be trying to get my attention and I can't hear them.

Getting work, going to the doctor and things like that.

When I go to YouTube events

and other conferences, that affects me

because, like, if I'm going somewhere with a bunch of YouTubers,

if I'm at an event, like, a party at the event

or, like, any kind of social networking thing there

and I don't have the proper accommodations with me,

things are like one-on-one type of deals, that affects me.

Now that I think about it, why don't VidCon and them give me interpreters

for those, like, smaller things instead of just the panels?

That's a different video.

With the chronic pain, I deal with...

I deal with chronic pain a lot in my back,

my shoulders and my jaw because I have TMD.

The TMD is kind of, like, something that just...

It's really annoying but it's not the worst,

at least as far as, like, impacting me in my day-to-day life.

My back is what really does that.

So, it can be difficult for me to get out of bed,

for me to get up and do, like, the smallest things.

Like, I don't want to go do dishes or clean something

because it just hurts to stand

and I would rather just either sit or lie down.

With mental illness, it's kind of almost like with the chronic pain thing

except, you know, depression, I don't want to do anything.

I'm not motivated to do anything.

I don't want to do work. I don't want to find work.

I don't...

I don't want to deal with anybody or myself, you know, that kind of thing.

What is the most common misconception that you experience

in regards to your disability?

So, deafness.

I did a whole video on, like, myths about deafness

but it's just, I think, probably one of the biggest things

is just that we are incapable of doing things,

like, mainstream society doesn't want to give us work

because we'll be a liability

or we just can't do that type of deal, type of thing, stuff like that, really.

That's kind of, like... That's the umbrella misconception.

Then you can add in a bunch of other things underneath that.

With chronic pain, it's the fact that I can just, like, pop in a Tylenol

and then be on my way.

I've been the guinea pig of some people

sometimes trying to get me to just take medication and not believing me.

And mental illness.

You know, I also did a video on this.

I pretty much did a video on all the myths about all these three things

and, with mental illness, it's, like, depression isn't real.

I'm just sad for a second and I can snap out of it, you know?

Think happy thoughts and everything will be OK.

Which misconception annoys you the most?

Deafness. The fact that I just...

Like, I can't do anything.

So, like, now I'm an adult.

I'm trying to survive and I'm trying to thrive in life

and, you know, move forward and, you know,

like, make my life bigger than what it is now.

That people don't think that I can do that,

therefore that kind of puts a stunt in my growth.

It feels like it just keeps keeping me down,

rather than helping me move up and I feel stuck because of that.

And then basically all the misconceptions that annoy me the most,

the ones that I explained in the previous question.

Those just annoy me a lot.

Do you do anything to combat these misconceptions?

Well, I make videos and I write articles - RikkiPoynter.com.

And I do speaking engagements to talk about these things.

My main platform is YouTube, so, you know, I make videos about that.

So, I've done the myths video about mental illness, chronic pain, deafness.

I started my own "business".

You know, this is kind of the business that I have doing that.

What more do you think can be done to combat the misconception

around your disability?

Society as a whole as opposed to individual work

is a good direction for the answer.

So, this is the thing.

Like, a lot of people consider themselves allies, right?

But I feel like, really, even the people closest to me in my life

don't actually do anything to, like, talk about this kind of stuff.

Like, they don't promote it on their social media or whatever.

And it's kind of... mmm

Like, I get people that will be like, "Wow, Rikki, it's so great

"that you're doing this kind of thing to, you know, educate others."

But they don't do that.

These are, like, my able-bodied friends, right?

And instead of just keeping the education

and the accessibility knowledge, whatever,

like, in the little disability, in the deaf circle,

it needs to branch out and reach into the able-bodied, abled circle.

So, when my abled friends are, like, coming over to me and praising me

for all this work and I very much appreciate it, obviously,

it's not like, "Oh, well, fuck you."

But it's just...

It would be so helpful if they would take the praise that they're giving me

and others and, like, helping push that to their friends, to their followers

and it needs to be spread out outside of this little niche, I guess.

So, you know, educate people on the topic.

Call your representatives.

You know, the whole H.R.620 thing that's been going around

that passed the House that is now going to the higher ups, I think.

If the friends, if the abled friends and the people,

call your politicians and make... help us make that change.

I just feel like, if you're gonna be an ally,

if you're gonna consider yourself an ally,

please help us with the work that it takes

and that it's going to take to try to make things better.

Q&A #1 - Practice Routines // Metal Bass Tones // Abiogenesis - Duration: 4:37.

what's up guys Francesco here so this is my first Q&A if you have any questions

for future Q&As leave them down in the comments and I'll do my best to help you

that being said let's do this what does your practice routine look like well I hate

to disappoint you but I haven't actually practiced guitar for the past 7 years to

be honest since I started teaching full-time and with my band becoming the

priority I've always put songwriting first and getting better at recording

and mixing rather than improving my guitar playing that being said I still

keep my guitar chops in shape because every day I'm repeating fundamental

exercises with my students so you could say lessons are a little bit of a

practice routine for me as well although when I did practice years ago was always

making sure I practiced every day even if just for 10 minutes I am a firm

believer that consistency is much more important than the time spent practicing

so for example it's much better to practice something 10 minutes each day

rather than doing something 8 hours one day and then you're so burned out that

you won't do anything else for the rest of the week we all have things in life

that keep us busy so as long as you use the time left wisely to improve your

craft whether if it's guitar or a musical instrument or photography

whatever you want it doesn't really matter if it's two hours or 10 minutes

if you do it consistently and you're better than yesterday that's all that

matters to me which bass effect would you choose to get a punchier metal tone

in a live situation I think there's like three or four options that would

definitely work the most basic one has to be the sansamp by tech21 it's a

classic and it does the job just fine but the sansamp by itself would still

leave the bass kind of thin and harsh sounding so after the sansamp i would

definitely add a mooer radar pedal the radar is essentially a cabinet

simulator into a pedal and the cool thing about this is that you can put

your own cabinet ir files into the pedal so that for example you could put like

on an ampeg 8x10 cabinet into the pedal and you would have like the

sansamp into the cabinet simulation and it would be like a very big and fat tone

because of that but an even better option would be purchasing the new b7k

ultra an alpha mega ultra from darkglass electronics which to me not only sound

amazing and way better than the Sansamp but they actually have cabinet

simulation built into the pedal so you would have to basically run everything

into a pedal from the distortion itself to the cabinet simulation I currently

own the regular b7k which is already amazing and I was thinking about

coupling it with a mooer radar but then the ultra models came out so I know what

I'm gonna purchase next also another effect I would definitely add to the list is a

compressor pedal like for example the darkglass electronics supersymmetry or

the Cali 76 from Origin effects bass needs to be extremely consistent in the

mix because the moment is not there you definitely miss it bass compressor

pedals essentially give you the most consistent dynamics possible out of the

instrument which will translate in a very even tone that will always cut

through the mix and then we have the final option which definitely is more

expensive and complex than the others but to me it would be amazing for metal

axe fx! why axe fx well first you gotta understand that bass is two

instruments at once the first is a rhythm instrument that covers the low

end of the music alongside the kick the second is basically a guitar but tuned

a lower octave so this essentially glues with the main guitars to make them

sound super heavy and achieve this massive wall of sound because of this it

makes sense to treat the bass in two different ways that will coexist

together the first one is to create a clean and consistent low-end so that it

will glue better with the kick and the second one is to distort the bass so

that it will gel better with the guitars with the axe fx I can create

those two chains in parallel and I can make them coexist within a single preset

and then I will join them together within a single cabinet block the

advantage of this is that within a single preset I would have everything I

need in my bass tone from compression to cabinet simulation and it can even

choose to distort the bass with guitar amplifiers instead of pedals which to me

are actually a more appropriate choice for that modern metal bass tone that I

love when will we hear more of Abiogenesis well as most of you know shortly

after the release of our video for Visualize our drummer moved to France so

that made it super difficult for us to rehearse do live shows and basically

everything else since then we auditioned like I don't know almost 30 drummers and

literally nobody could play our previous drummer stuff because the patterns

themselves are super complex and the foot speed especially is next-level

because of this unfortunately we haven't been able to play live for the past year

but on the other hand we did finish recordings for our new stuff the good

news is Nick Pearce from Unearth is gonna do session drums on our new music

which we're super stoked about and shortly after the recordings we're gonna

film a new video we don't know yet if we'll manage to bring in our former

drummer in the video or somebody else but rest assured regardless the new

music is gonna be worth the wait I promise so that's it for today guys if

into Rick, about his actions that have resulted in death,

specifically his son that just died,

Rick triples the fuck down down and says

he's going to stab Negan in the throat with his balls.

mother, Adelaide. So, the trip had the duration of 9 days, from 6 until 16 April 2017.

It began early, when we went to the airport to cath the airplane

who would stop in Zurich. A: Aiii P: So What time is it? A: I do not know, let's go check

P: First day! A: Jesus ... At the age of 17 I didn't even knew Porto

After a full day of flight we land in New York, it was raining heavily and we still had to

wait a few hours in a queue in border control but the most important

is that despite having spent more or less one day (12 hours) it was still around 4pm

in New York, which led to a intense effect of Jet Lag.

P:You can see it rains a lot ... It doesn't stop raining. You can't even see the

It is important to mention that my mother usually

prepares food so that on the first day there we don't have to worry about finding a

place to eat, this time it was the same thing but during landing an American officer was very

rude and took away the food P: We caught the Airtrain! (Skytrain) now we have to

take the subway and we will reach 51st (FIRST, not ONE, Pedro that engrish) Street

and then we are going to walk some 20 streets until we reach 34th Street

A: We can climb to the Empire we can climb P: It's sunshine unlike when we arrived

ya... ahh someone is playing typical New York jazz, it's so cool

A. Look...32 dollars (I do not know what she meant) P: People here are in a huge hurry

P:We are taking the subway, our metro comes from this side and...(audio fades to slow jazz)

The trip to the hostel was calm, we caught

the SkyTrain until Jamaica Station and then we caught the metro that took us to 33rd street, after

Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Free Download and How to Install (Full Version) - Duration: 5:39.

Hello everyone my name is Dan and today I'm going to show you how you can get

the last version of Adobe Photoshop CC which is the 2018 one and how to install

it, what you need to do first is to go to this website, as you can see the link to it is

appsbasic com you will also have a link to it in the video description, once

you get here look for the app that you need and click on it, in our case Adobe

Photoshop CC 2018, scroll down and hit the download button, you will then be

asked to verify through survey, click that button and then a list of surveys

pops up as you can see here, you can also see on the right side how much it would

approximately take for you to complete it, you can also get to see more surveys

by clicking on this button here this is because the website is spammed by BOTS a lot

what we have to do is to complete one of these surveys, choose whichever

you like the most I don't know and then you will be redirected to the download

page, I'm now gonna show you how easy it is to complete one

in this particular survey I have to answer a few questions and then enter my

email address this only takes about one or two minutes once you're done

completing the survey you will be redirected to the download page and once

you get here just click this download button, now I'm not gonna download it

again as I have already did, as you can see I have it on my desktop I will now

show you how to install it, what you need to do first is to download winrar and

install it in case you don't already have it which I highly doubt but I will

also have a link to it in the video description, after extracting the archive

open up the folder and you will have two files an ISO file, I'm using daemon tools

to mount it and an image with the install notes written on it alright so

let's get to it what you need to do first and this is

extremely important is to stop your internet connection I'm gonna do it

right now, we now have to mount this ISO file again I'm using daemon tools to

mount it

once you've done that open up the setup file and the Photoshop CC will then

begin installing as you can see on the top here I will now fast forward

the video so that you don't have to wait that long until this completes I'll get

back to you in a minute

all right now click accept and the trial version will open up

we will then close it and run the patch to get the full version

open up the mounted image and you will have a folder called crack, open that and

run the patch and from the drop-down list

scroll down until you find Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 the patch from the

2017 version works just as great for the 2018 one, once you have selected it click

install and you will then be asked to specify a location for the patch, the

location for almost everyone would be local disk C/Program Files/Adobe and

Adobe Photoshop CC 2018, click on this file here and then hit open, all right

you can now close the patcher, turn the internet back on and enjoy it!
